It feels like a team. And I see you with
the team. I see you online. You're always having a
good time, and it's like, who doesn't have a time
for a quickie?
Speaker 3 (03:07):
How did you even come up with the name doc
shit Man?
Speaker 6 (03:09):
I realized that back in twenty nineteen when I was
running around the dispensaries things that just went legal. I realized,
where's the five dollars joint? It ain't know anymore?
Speaker 5 (03:18):
Yeah, because he would be like six plus tax, seven
plus tax. I was like, where's the five dollar jay?
Speaker 6 (03:23):
Because you know, I come from you know, traditional style dispensaries.
That's that's why I started as a dispensary owner called Grasshoppers.
Ran there for a couple of years. But when I
started doing distro start hitting the shops, I'm like looking
for what's missing?
Speaker 5 (03:37):
Yeah, you know, so that's quickies was born.
Speaker 3 (03:39):
And you know, I'll tell you what, for five bucks,
that's a good deal. Everybody. Everybody needs a little nickel.
You know you got a nickel.
Speaker 5 (03:45):
Everyone got five mins.
Speaker 3 (03:46):
Come on, I mean, you know the Loonies made that
so clear back in the days. It's an anthem.
Speaker 4 (03:50):
I got five on it, and I got a Quickies
and it's like you got your own for five.
Speaker 3 (03:55):
I love the concept.
Speaker 4 (03:57):
Talk about this logo and the coloring scheme because I
feel like it's Christmas every time you walk in the building.
Speaker 5 (04:02):
Doctor, I appreciate that.
Speaker 1 (04:04):
Man.
Speaker 6 (04:04):
Well, you know you can see the Quickies right, We
got Quikies. Just sexy ass logo. We got that font,
special font, special to us. We got the trademark so
don't try it. We got the pre roll right at
the bottom.
Speaker 5 (04:14):
You know what I'm saying. Just nice and custom.
Speaker 6 (04:16):
And that's what I wanted, was a nice, custom, classic vintage.
Speaker 5 (04:20):
Look, you know what I'm saying.
Speaker 6 (04:21):
I grew up a lot with sports players in my family,
so baseball, basketball, all that.
Speaker 3 (04:26):
So yeah, it definitely has a baseball field. Yeah.
Speaker 4 (04:28):
I feel like I look at that and it says
Dodgers for sure, you know what I mean. But it's
right and white Angels for sure.
Speaker 3 (04:33):
Yeah.
Speaker 6 (04:33):
I wanted something iconic, something I could see, just ubiquitous,
you know, and I feel like this brand.
Speaker 3 (04:38):
Like the big Words. By the way, that's really nice.
I love it.
Speaker 6 (04:41):
It's gonna be everywhere. It's gonna be everywhere. It's gonna
be fucking big. Let's just put it that way.
Speaker 4 (04:45):
And as you say that, are you talking about going
state to state now? As big as this is going
and Quickies is taken over California, I mean I see you.
Speaker 6 (04:53):
Everywhere for sure. That yeah, I mean we're already statewide.
So that was the first, uh you know, little checkpoint
that I wanted to grab. I've been shout out to
my boy Josh Josh at Weed Maps. He's gonna setting
us up to go state wide with this contract manufacturing.
Speaker 3 (05:07):
Nice. Nice. Where are you from?
Speaker 5 (05:08):
Uh here? Yeah? Yeah?
Speaker 3 (05:12):
Nice? Nice? And then do you play sports growing up?
Speaker 5 (05:15):
Yeah?
Speaker 6 (05:15):
I played football in high school and then I got
into boxing competitively.
Speaker 5 (05:19):
And now just do a little bit more tight here.
Speaker 3 (05:21):
And there you nice position?
Speaker 6 (05:24):
Quarterback, defensive end, yeah yeah, defensive end, wide receiver, a
little bit of college.
Speaker 1 (05:30):
Nah.
Speaker 6 (05:30):
We knocked it off after high school because I started
making money.
Speaker 3 (05:33):
Yeah, I ain't nothing wrong with that.
Speaker 1 (05:34):
Yeah.
Speaker 5 (05:34):
No, literally started selling weed like right out of high school.
Speaker 3 (05:37):
What school we're at?
Speaker 5 (05:38):
Kenny Springs Valley. Oh nice, shout out to the.
Speaker 3 (05:43):
Yeah, that's a good area. That's fun. That's fun. It
was hot growing up.
Speaker 5 (05:48):
There.
Speaker 2 (05:49):
It's good because murder, Yeah, Murder Murder Valley.
Speaker 4 (05:54):
You know you grew up in that area. You're able
to vibe with more people than if not.
Speaker 3 (05:57):
You know how I look.
Speaker 5 (05:59):
Yeah, show it's just a big old melting pop man.
Just like La.
Speaker 6 (06:02):
You got you know, got your Asians, you got your whites, Blacks, Mexicans,
Latin people, all that. I mean, it's a little bit
of everything.
Speaker 4 (06:07):
Yeah, it's California for Yeah. How long's Quickie's been around?
Exactly when did you start the company?
Speaker 6 (06:12):
We launched it in twenty nineteen, had some issues with
the partnership that we had gotten into, throw it on hiatus,
and we just relaunched in what are we in now?
We relaunched in April this year, twenty twenty three, NKS
for twenty, yeah for twenty. It was on hiatus for
like three years, so literally we started back up with
zero momentum. I just you know, I just I've been
in the game a long time. I have a lot
(06:33):
of contacts, a lot of connections, and allow how to
do is flip the switch and off the bat.
Speaker 5 (06:38):
We were in about twenty stores.
Speaker 3 (06:40):
As you should.
Speaker 2 (06:40):
Man, let me ask you this, So what am I
going to find in this is? Are you curate the cannabis?
Are you growing it? You buying it from the right operators?
What are we looking at?
Speaker 5 (06:49):
Yeah?
Speaker 6 (06:49):
Hell yeah, I'm glad you're asking these questions for real.
What we're doing is we're sourcing all indoor from local
indoor farms between the Ie and.
Speaker 3 (06:58):
La Okay and High Desert.
Speaker 5 (07:00):
Really so, yeah, we got some stuff up in the
high does that it's coming down? You know?
Speaker 3 (07:03):
So?
Speaker 6 (07:04):
But yeah, it's everything's testing twenty four percent plus. I mean,
we got three skews and I'm running this bitch like
in and out. Just look, we got three items one,
two or three are all.
Speaker 4 (07:14):
And you know what, and that's not bad because you
got that you know, sativa, the indica and the hybrid
and it's perfect right there, all three or five bucks.
Speaker 6 (07:21):
In you all three or five bucks. And honestly, uh,
you know, the infused kind of like really made the
market weird. So there's a huge demand out there for
non infuse flower right now.
Speaker 3 (07:31):
You know, it's funny you say that because I don't.
Speaker 2 (07:33):
I don't fuck with infused ones either, because one, sometimes
it's too.
Speaker 3 (07:37):
Much to the flavor of it. It's just weird and
the ship it could be really hit or really missed.
Speaker 2 (07:41):
Yeah, and then two is that some you don't really
know if the high going to be hit or miss
you know what I'm saying.
Speaker 4 (07:47):
Last time he smoked when he was running around naked
like Frank the take Beach Boulevard.
Speaker 3 (07:52):
Yeah, yeah too.
Speaker 6 (07:53):
Hey, them Jeters are strong man like. Shout out to
that company. They really did their thing. They're in ninety
eight percent of stores from what I'm told, they go
fucking hard man. They kind of kicked that kicked the
kick the ball off for the infused pre roll games.
Speaker 2 (08:05):
Yeah, I mean there's a lot of there's a lot
of a lot of cats that were out there. You know,
there was a Caveard Gold or someone else, what was
the other brand?
Speaker 3 (08:12):
Uh uh?
Speaker 6 (08:13):
I feel therese are moon Rock pre rolls though, Moon Rocks, Yeah,
moonro who's got the lighter?
Speaker 3 (08:17):
Yeah, A lot of those things are good.
Speaker 4 (08:19):
I'm so curious, zach uh, where does the love come
from for cannabis? Because you started off with the dispensary
You've been in cannabis for quite a while, your legacy guy.
Speaker 3 (08:29):
But where does it come from?
Speaker 4 (08:30):
Is it was it strictly money grab or is there
some type of deep love rooted for cannabis that what's
the story?
Speaker 6 (08:36):
I got to be one hundred percent with you. It's so,
I'm a businessman. At the end of the day. I've
been dealing with weed ever since I got out of
high school. I've been consistent and that's why I'm in
the game as much as I am. Like you know,
I get a lot of respect from my peers, and
you can ask around about Grasshopper. My credits clean everybody.
I mean, I just do good business. That's what you're
gonna hear. Ye, go out, go as. That's what you're
(08:57):
gonna hear. Is he does good business?
Speaker 4 (08:59):
Alas six people earlier and only four came back with
something good, but just kiding, just fucking with you good.
Speaker 3 (09:07):
No, that's like sixty. I know that's a high percentage.
Speaker 5 (09:10):
Don't get me wrong.
Speaker 3 (09:10):
We're still good. And I know before you had a
clothing line.
Speaker 6 (09:14):
I had a clothing line. Yeah, we had a clothing line,
uh called Pounds by Grasshopper. Pounds, Yeah, pounds by Grasshopper,
because I mean that's what I do, that's what I've
been doing.
Speaker 5 (09:22):
That's what got us here. You know.
Speaker 3 (09:24):
That's a good fucking concept right there. That makes it easy.
Like what's the name of the company.
Speaker 5 (09:28):
Straight forward?
Speaker 3 (09:29):
Look over there, it's pounds. You got pounds right there.
That's what we're going to do.
Speaker 6 (09:32):
That was a clothing label that that we designed, you know,
just because it was what we were doing. And I
had little slogans and ship like no negotiations. I survived
the drought, you know, just different, different little things like
that that trappers like me could really understound. Yeah, pum
found man, that's a good one pound town.
Speaker 3 (09:53):
Yeah.
Speaker 4 (09:53):
You know, I want to touch on something blue ass
about you getting your own uh the getting there on
cannabis for these pre rolls. Are you out there testing
it yourself? Is just like, Okay, this is what I'm smoking.
This is what you're gonna smoke, Believe.
Speaker 5 (10:05):
It or not.
Speaker 6 (10:05):
I'm sourcing all the product myself, and I'm gonna taste
testing every each each flavor.
Speaker 3 (10:09):
That really that's good.
Speaker 4 (10:12):
So it's like it touches Zach's lips, It's gonna touch
your lips smoking it's Grasshopper approved.
Speaker 3 (10:17):
Yeah, from the hips to you go by Grasshopper too?
Or is that kind of the.
Speaker 6 (10:21):
That's really what I go by. That's what most people
know me as you know, since we started. It's kind
of it's kind of funny. I'm starting to introduce myself
as Zach from Quickie's pre rolls. Now, I never ever
use that shit. It's always just Grasshopper.
Speaker 3 (10:31):
Yeah, oh really? And where does that name come from?
Speaker 6 (10:33):
Grasshopper comes from a dispensary that I started up in
twenty fifteen.
Speaker 3 (10:37):
Right, right, I know the dispenser.
Speaker 4 (10:38):
But did you get called that as a nickname Junior
High or was that like, how did you come up
with Grasshopper as the.
Speaker 6 (10:44):
Just the store name is called Grasshoppers, so everybody would
just call me Grasshopper because I really am the face.
Speaker 3 (10:50):
Right.
Speaker 6 (10:50):
I got a couple of partners, but you know, I'm
in the phase. I'm the one that's out there doing
all the network.
Speaker 3 (10:55):
You got partners in Quickie or in Grasshoppers?
Speaker 5 (10:57):
Yeah? I got both?
Speaker 3 (10:58):
Yeah, Yeah, I got both.
Speaker 6 (10:58):
I have one partner owns of grass Hovers with me,
and then I got a couple of partners on Quikis
I got a couple of partners on snowballs.
Speaker 3 (11:05):
Yeah, what's snowballs?
Speaker 5 (11:07):
Snowballs is an exotic white moon rock.
Speaker 6 (11:09):
I was about to hit the hit the shelves in a.
Speaker 5 (11:12):
Week or two. I just got the tests a little buck.
Speaker 2 (11:14):
Yeah, so I thought it was a cocaine or snore
gonna We're gonna take a break here.
Speaker 5 (11:23):
I thought it was a new movie in the Valley
or something.
Speaker 3 (11:26):
That snowballs.
Speaker 5 (11:28):
Wait are you in it?
Speaker 4 (11:32):
I want to touch on something and go a little different, Zach. Guys,
I was doing some research on you. We're gonna take
a break and we're gonna touch on this arrest. I
want to talk to you and I and I asked
you beforehand. So folks, it's like I looked you up
and I was like, dude, this looks a little fucking crazy,
all the bullshit propaganda that I was reading, and I
(11:53):
want you to break down the story when we get back.
It's Cannabis Talk one on one the manster some time
and I want to hear why.
Speaker 3 (12:00):
We'll be right back after this break.
Speaker 1 (12:01):

Speaker 3 (12:29):
Video with smoking that joint. H I love that Quickies. Hey,
it was one of those things.
Speaker 4 (12:35):
When I see that video, it just bade me go,
oh my goodness, what is it?
Speaker 3 (12:38):
It's always cooliesee someone's smoking. But when you make smoking
look sexy, that was really nice. Sealing once again, But.
Speaker 4 (12:44):
Zach, before we went to break, I touched on something
that's real personal.
Speaker 3 (12:47):
I mean, getting the rest of it isn't a joke,
you know what I'm saying.
Speaker 4 (12:50):
And when I read it on you, I felt like
this was a cartel member or you were embezzling.
Speaker 3 (12:56):
You know, snakes from fucking Japan over here, Like it
was just.
Speaker 4 (13:01):
So much on you talk about this arrest, what exactly happened?
Speaker 3 (13:05):
And how much time do you do?
Speaker 5 (13:07):
Yeah?
Speaker 6 (13:07):
I got a hit for an unlicensed dispensary out of
sam Bernanardino County, which is something we had.
Speaker 5 (13:13):
Been doing for a long time, just our dispensary line.
Speaker 6 (13:16):
We had a chain of dispensaries between fifteen and eighteen
of three different stores, all named Grasshoppers. But open it
up in the County of San Bernardino. And this was
in twenty eighteen. This is like right after shit had
went legal, right, so like people were still trying to
figure out, like.
Speaker 5 (13:32):
Ah, are you licensed? Are you not licensed?
Speaker 6 (13:34):
Okay, there's an application process, but maybe my city doesn't
have it. So we're like, are we are they going
to open it? What's the deal?
Speaker 3 (13:41):
Like?
Speaker 6 (13:41):
And it's just like in that transition, little gray area
because the way we.
Speaker 5 (13:45):
Were operating, we were able to operate lawfully.
Speaker 2 (13:48):
Sure, so oh under a Proposition two fifteen doing business
as a mutual benefit organization.
Speaker 5 (13:54):
Yeah, that's definitely one way to do it. That's one
way to do it.
Speaker 6 (13:56):
I did it as a nonprofit, but I was getting
a business license out of the area, and we were
able to operate off the business license, gotcha.
Speaker 3 (14:03):
Yeah, But they made it seem like you were I mean, you.
Speaker 2 (14:08):
Get like best cup of water and then you and
I'll charge you twenty five bucks and you'll get this.
Speaker 3 (14:13):
For free, all right? It was gifting right, Yeah exactly,
I know. Yeah.
Speaker 6 (14:19):
It was a it was a cool little system that
we had, but we had a cracking. Like I opened
it up one day. I had a thousand customers on
my first day that I opened due to my marketing.
Speaker 3 (14:28):
Nice nice to my marketing.
Speaker 6 (14:29):
One thousand customers in one day on the very first day,
and then by by the thirty day mark were already
a two hundred customers a day consistent.
Speaker 3 (14:38):
Nice dude, How long did they let you rock for ship?
Speaker 5 (14:41):
Thirty days? Now it was two months? It was two months.
Speaker 3 (14:44):
You reopen it when they when after they raided you.
Speaker 6 (14:46):
Honestly, I've never been that type of type of spot,
which is burns.
Speaker 2 (14:49):
Was burnt, so I I used to that said no,
I used to come back and just reopen the next day,
like fuck it, you know.
Speaker 5 (14:56):
But fucking beast mode.
Speaker 2 (14:57):
Yeah, yeah, they'd rate us and then we just fucking
literally come in the following day.
Speaker 3 (15:02):
It's sparking because you know, he's saved right back.
Speaker 2 (15:06):
And then and they come back three weeks later. We
fucking opened the.
Speaker 5 (15:09):
Next days in town.
Speaker 3 (15:11):
Here's the hockey bag going here, hockey bag going there.
Speaker 5 (15:14):
It was good, It was good about that bro.
Speaker 6 (15:16):
It is like you're okay with taking the loss that
goes with it, Like, yeah, they coming and they come
and take all your ship.
Speaker 5 (15:22):
You're like, fuck it, I got slick.
Speaker 3 (15:24):
We started getting slick, you know what I mean.
Speaker 2 (15:25):
Like we come in and they bring in just enough
to cater the first half of the day and usually
bring another drop yeah, and bring another drop in, and
the raids are happening in the morning, you know, so
they don't want to come at night. Well they actually
one time we were driving home and because because they
started getting hip to our our you know, our program
to you know what I mean. Yeah, they come in
(15:48):
and only we'd have people like customers coming in and
they leave with the money and ship, you know, take
the money every so every time we just be running
money in, run it out.
Speaker 3 (15:56):
But it got to.
Speaker 2 (15:57):
A point where a lot just fix alone. Yeah, there
was logistics, major logistics and this ship. But there was
a point where on the way home we were leaving
and uh they followed us, you know, and then right
before we got out of the city, they lit us
up and they pulled everybody back to the to the
uh dispensary. This isn't Montabella and I wasn't there, you know,
(16:21):
I mean got lucky. But but but the dude that
was there let him in. You know, they didn't have
a warrant at that time, so they ended up letting
him in. And and that we had just reloaded that night,
you know what I mean. So then they got us.
Speaker 3 (16:35):
They on the way home. Yeah, I got the phone call.
I was. I was on mushrooms and the worst time
ever high.
Speaker 2 (16:43):
Oh man, I'm panicky because I thought my house is
gonna get ready too.
Speaker 3 (16:47):
So now I was just like.
Speaker 4 (16:49):
That's part of that game though, that most is catching
this industry come from Zack, and that's like, you know
where you come from, Blue comes from.
Speaker 6 (16:57):
That's the way the game goes, Bro, That's just the
way the game goes. Like if you see that on
my record or on somebody's record, that's just the way
the game goes. You can't even like really judge it
because it's you understand. Once you're there, You're like, this
is an easy thing to get. You know, you gotta
understand the cannabis laws. Even to this day, people might
think like, oh, the law is the law, there's this
one way to do it. But hey, even still to
(17:17):
this day, the cannabis law is subjective.
Speaker 3 (17:20):
Yeah, and it changes. I mean even with you in
these pre rules.
Speaker 4 (17:22):
I mean they may change it from having it in
these containers, Nope, you can't have them in these plastic
containers no more.
Speaker 3 (17:28):
And it's just some bullshit that they.
Speaker 5 (17:29):
Do bro exactly.
Speaker 6 (17:31):
There's just like all these laws and people could be
like one person might see it one way and one
person might see it another. It's just that's how the
law is right now.
Speaker 2 (17:38):
So a lot of people, a lot of a lot
of companies that are you know, on the up and up,
are also on the other side, back and back what
you have to do both sides are trapping and not trapping.
So it's just part of the part of the industry.
And I think that, you know, like even for me,
like you know, there's a part of my my just
my instinct. It's like, man, if I you know, I
(18:00):
know everybody, you know, I could roll this ship.
Speaker 4 (18:03):
What if we did? What if we still do? We
talk about all the time, like what if we you know,
we could do it from here? But no, no, no,
but we got the cops here and everybody comes to
the spot. You just can't make your spot hot, like that,
but it's it's still so there, and it's like you're
not even getting busted for it anymore. People now like, oh,
here's one hundred pounds, what average get rid of that?
Not even you know what I mean, it's not even
(18:23):
that big of a deal exactly.
Speaker 3 (18:25):
So so so what what what are we looking at?
Speaker 7 (18:28):
Like?
Speaker 3 (18:28):
Where are you?
Speaker 2 (18:28):
I mean, what's the strains that you're using or you're
using like cushes og, cushies, purples, exotics.
Speaker 5 (18:34):
What have we gotten here? Great question? Man, I'm sourcing everything.
Speaker 6 (18:38):
It'll be it really depends what farm I'm getting it from,
but a lot of this is going to be some
bubblegum gelados that we source out the obil okay and
shot outs I e. And uh, like our sativa will
be something between like a rangutang titties across we look
a cush pope something like that, and then our hybrids
(18:58):
is just kind of like whatever else, like a fine
that is that I'm.
Speaker 5 (19:02):
Okay with smoking?
Speaker 3 (19:03):
Yeah, what's your favorite like.
Speaker 6 (19:04):
Some jealousy or some like cush Min's cross the wedding cake,
just you know, a lot of those flavors that are
out there. There was this one banana punch I came across,
I was like, oh, this might be fucking perfect hybrid,
Like yeah, like let me let me try it, try it.
Speaker 5 (19:18):
It just tastes like trash and like get it out
of here. I can't fuck with it.
Speaker 3 (19:21):
Yeah.
Speaker 2 (19:21):
It's like like we were just talking on the last
show about like how you know, somebody's wedding cake might
not be the same as somebody else is in a
different stores. It's kind of unfortunate because you know, you
might find some super duper fire, you know what I mean,
And then all of a sudden you go over to
another store and he's like, all of me, get the
wedding cakes.
Speaker 3 (19:38):
Last time, my experience.
Speaker 2 (19:39):
Was great, and the next time you go get it,
it's trash, you know. And it just it kind of
sucks right now in a lot of places, because you know,
the quality comes down to the person that like yourself.
That's like, yo, there's gotta be a certain quality that
I fuck with or I'm not doing this, yeah, you know,
And and I think there's some people are just like,
you know, they don't really care. And for me personally,
(20:00):
I don't really want that ship that is just super
duper high because I don't want to get too funky.
Speaker 3 (20:06):
You know what I'm saying.
Speaker 2 (20:06):
I don't want to get I want to get buzzy
and ship and feel myself, but I don't want.
Speaker 3 (20:10):
To be you know, don't smoke snowballs twitching snowballs. Is that?
Speaker 5 (20:14):
Huh?
Speaker 3 (20:14):
And that's just that.
Speaker 4 (20:15):
So that's a whole nother product line. Snowballs is going
to be something totally different. It's not going to be
under the Cookies brand or the look and all this
other thing.
Speaker 6 (20:21):
No, it's going to be a brand of Grasshoppers as
well as Quikies. So it's you know, we got Grasshopper
owns all the labels, we got Quikies out in shells
now Snowballs.
Speaker 5 (20:31):
Is about to be out.
Speaker 6 (20:33):
And then you know, my my catalog that I have
lined up is fucking crazy.
Speaker 3 (20:38):
What else you got lined up? What do you? What
are you moving towards? Okay, Zach, he said, I'll take
a look. I like it. I like it.
Speaker 5 (20:48):
Hey, this is Quikies. I didn't just get Lucky Snowballs.
I didn't just get Lucky. I'm lucky. It's confirmed now,
it's a fact that I do this.
Speaker 3 (20:56):
Lucky, I worked everybody. That's true.
Speaker 4 (20:59):
I do this I gotta give you prop Zach, because
not only is the marketing dope with the logos, the colors,
but you're also vibe is right everything I looked at
online right, Like, even when it's you out there talking
and vibing with everybody, it's fun, it's cool. You always
have beautiful ladies there, but they're always so cool, you
(21:21):
know what I'm saying. It's not like you walk up
and everyone's just stuck up, like you set a standard
like I've seen you guys at other events and the
Quickies booth is like a fun, vibey area, and I
just give you props for that, dog like you know me,
because a lot of people don't do that, you know.
I mean, they're just they're just there whatever. They have
their uncles, their aunts, whatever. You're using the marketing in
(21:45):
a very good, cool way. Where does that come from?
Speaker 5 (21:49):
Experience?
Speaker 6 (21:50):
Yeah, I know exactly what I'm doing. Like the experiences
I'm curating, they're not I'm not guessing.
Speaker 4 (21:56):
Yeah, I like it because, like I said, when you
see it online and you see the cool people and
you go up and you can talk to these women,
it's not just they're pretty girls, you know what I mean,
you're not just some.
Speaker 5 (22:07):
Dude as fu Yeah, it's fun as fuck. Man.
Speaker 6 (22:09):
We make a really good experience at our booths. Like
you come, it's just automatically feel welcome and it's chill.
The design of the booth is dope. It's like very
uh you know, it's well picked out. I've got many
compliments that the booths just down to the all the
details are there, you know, and it's just quality all
the way through and through. So, I mean, if you
could check out, if you check out our content on
(22:30):
online online, you'll see what we're about.
Speaker 5 (22:33):
Like this ship is legit.
Speaker 6 (22:34):
Like you check that shit out, You're like, damn they
they definitely know what they're doing.
Speaker 3 (22:38):
Yeah that man.
Speaker 2 (22:40):
So so let me ask you this, man, if if
you had to, you know, pick one strain in the world.
Speaker 3 (22:48):
That you just that you love. What is it?
Speaker 5 (22:52):
Purple punch?
Speaker 3 (22:53):
Purple Punch why.
Speaker 5 (22:55):
It's just a fun ass strain. You know, I got
ship to do.
Speaker 3 (22:58):
So, Like I definitely like Sativa.
Speaker 6 (23:00):
Yeah, I like Sativa's, but you know punch is like
a good sativa dominant hybrid.
Speaker 5 (23:05):
Uh.
Speaker 6 (23:05):
You know, it just gives me real creative I've noticed
that when I smoke purple punch. That's the only strain
that I've ever smoked. Where I start getting creative, I
start getting these cool little ideas.
Speaker 2 (23:14):
Do you ever find something that gives you the gigglies?
What I'm saying, I'm looking for the Yeah, I know
that part.
Speaker 3 (23:20):
Yeah, but when I get my leg touched right here,
this gives me giggling. See everyone giggles just watching, see that.
It's a giggly baby.
Speaker 2 (23:29):
It's called the THI reb you know what I'm saying,
Like you ever you guys have how many show hands?
Speaker 3 (23:33):
How many of you guys ever smoked weed? And just
laugh your fucking ass?
Speaker 6 (23:37):
Oh?
Speaker 3 (23:37):
I used to. Well, I think I was on and
I haven't had it in a long time. Though. It's
a good point to me, Like I feel like it's young.
Speaker 4 (23:43):
It's a younger thing, is it. Well, when we were younger,
I'm saying it happened more. Maybe it was an age thing.
Speaker 5 (23:48):
I don't know.
Speaker 3 (23:49):
Does it happen as an adult where you still get high?
Speaker 4 (23:51):
I haven't happened since I was eighteen, exactly, Connor, That's
what I'm saying.
Speaker 7 (23:54):
It was like my third time smoking, and like I
actually couldn't stop laughing for an hour.
Speaker 4 (23:58):
Just put the camera on you, please, so people get
you online as well when they do when you do.
Speaker 5 (24:01):
Talk, think one hour. Could not stop laughing to me.
Speaker 3 (24:05):
I stop laughing right now, and you're supposed to be
rocking your chain.
Speaker 5 (24:09):
For God's sake.
Speaker 3 (24:11):
I know.
Speaker 5 (24:14):
We love you, Blair.
Speaker 3 (24:15):
You gott come back. No, But but it's funny Blue
you mentioned that because those are like that old school
high that you're You're right, I mean, but I think
it was. I'm gonna start a line like Connor was eighteen,
you know what I mean. I don't know about the giggle.
Speaker 5 (24:26):
I don't know about the gigglies, but I'm high as
fuck right now.
Speaker 3 (24:28):
Yeah, that's the quickies. Let's collab and do a line
called gigglees giggles. You know what I'm saying. We call
them giggly.
Speaker 4 (24:34):
You gotta find that weed that does that quick one
here is Zach. You were doing a podcast for a while.
What happened to that? As you talk about your creativeness
and I know you were doing it, and I haven't
seen it or heard about it in a minute, why
the drop off?
Speaker 6 (24:47):
I gave it a nice season, thirteen episodes, and it
was it was a great show.
Speaker 5 (24:52):
I had a lot of people interested.
Speaker 6 (24:53):
The concept was was really good there, and uh, you know,
I gotta I'll be honest. My warehouse got broken into.
We lost all the equipment, got taken ship. Yeah, they
took all the equipment and yeah it was I replaced
it and then they hit it one more time, like
they broke past the part that I fixed, Like I
(25:14):
just I even.
Speaker 5 (25:15):
Extra secured it all that ship.
Speaker 3 (25:16):
Yeah.
Speaker 6 (25:17):
But yeah, after that, I was a little bitter about it.
But you know, I just got real.
Speaker 5 (25:20):
Busy with these brands. But you know what, definitely one
day we'll get back a podcasting.
Speaker 3 (25:25):
That's it's a lot of fun, secret secret cameras everywhere.
I'm saying everything, there's no cameras. They're all on you.
That's what we do. We got lockdown.
Speaker 5 (25:33):
The only reason we lost.
Speaker 3 (25:35):
You're pulling on the beach. I'm like, oh they're here.
Speaker 5 (25:37):
Yeah who yes.
Speaker 6 (25:40):
Honestly, like about podcasts, a lot of people don't know
you got Actually you got to write the content for
it to be good.
Speaker 3 (25:45):
Yeah.
Speaker 5 (25:45):
Yeah, yeah, it's gotta be ready.
Speaker 3 (25:47):
You got to good. There's a lot of good stuff
like that.
Speaker 5 (25:49):
I agree.
Speaker 3 (25:49):
If if it's going to be like that. Look at
you doing that? Look at you, mister broadcaster.
Speaker 2 (25:54):

You we have the co founder who put these pre
rolls with us, Zach Powers.
Speaker 3 (26:53):
Zach, You've done so much in this game.
Speaker 4 (26:55):
Being a legacy guy, from opening up Grasshoppers retail in
twenty fifteen, in twenty eighteen, you have the Grasshoppers distro
in twenty eighteen to now you got the Quickies pre.
Speaker 3 (27:05):
Roll, you got Snowballs coming out.
Speaker 4 (27:08):
And now though you're saying off air that this is
a great reason folks to listen and work with his
product and bias product, because the man has done so
much in this game that he's giving you what he
believes is the best product out there. And that information
that you have and that you said is what I
think people should really realize about what Quickies is. Because
(27:30):
you've done so much in this space and you're choosing
to do this. You can go back and do a dispensary.
You can go back and spend more time at the distro.
You can go do all kinds of things in this space.
You can go back and do a new clothing line.
Speaker 3 (27:44):
And you're a good.
Speaker 4 (27:45):
Looking fucker, you might be able to go model and
do something who knows acting, I don't know, dancing out
on stage.
Speaker 3 (27:50):
Who knows what he's doing?
Speaker 4 (27:52):
But my point is you're doing quickies pre roll and
you're doing the taste test personally from you, Zach, So
that says a lot about what you're doing.
Speaker 3 (28:00):
Man.
Speaker 6 (28:00):
Yeah, yeah, I just want to want pretty much want
to let the whole industry know that, Uh, this is
what it looks like when you've had years of experience,
years of taking l's and years of taking w's. Uh,
you just pretty much guarantee you're getting a guaranteed product
out of me.
Speaker 3 (28:16):
Yeah, and everything you chase.
Speaker 5 (28:18):
Yeah, this isn't look.
Speaker 3 (28:20):
And when does the modeling career start. What's a modeling
career start? I think the lader.
Speaker 5 (28:26):
Today, who's got the camera?
Speaker 3 (28:27):
Yeah right, yeah, check it out, Zach Powers. Is that
your real name?
Speaker 5 (28:33):
Yeah, that's my real name.
Speaker 2 (28:34):
That's funny because like two people were like, I don't
know if it's his real name or not, but that's dope.
Speaker 5 (28:38):
Like, Zach, it's not. It's not an alias or anything
like that. It's my real name.
Speaker 3 (28:42):
It's not like Blue using the fake name, fake shots fired.
Speaker 4 (28:51):
It's always good, right Joe here, but yeah, exactly. My
real last name is Lopez. But you know what I mean,
I keep it Grande all day. Cash and checks every day.
You know what, right thirteen shoe? Yeah, yes it is.
We like to do the High five with all the
guests that come in here, Zach. So question number one
(29:11):
five simple ones.
Speaker 3 (29:12):
How old are you? The first time he smoked cannabis?
And where'd you get it from? In that good o?
Speaker 6 (29:16):
I e oh man, first time I ever smoked my
older cousin. My older cousin, I won't say her name.
She was like I don't know, she was like thirteen
or something. We I was like ten, dude. She brought
me down and we got high at the park. I
was fucking stupid high. I remember walking home back to
my grandma's house just blowing as fuck, and she definitely noticed.
Speaker 5 (29:36):
She was like, oh you okay, but dude, I was.
That was the first time. So my older cousin nice.
Speaker 3 (29:42):
That's always fun out in the I eh.
Speaker 2 (29:45):
Question number two of the High five, what is your
favorite way to use or smoke cannabis?
Speaker 5 (29:49):
M shit man, smoke a quickie pre roll.
Speaker 3 (29:53):
There it is, keep it simple. You gotta do it
that way. I was hoping he would.
Speaker 4 (29:56):
I'm like, you better not to say a bong, just
grab you one of my own free rolls and smoke it, Zach,
Where is the craziest place you ever used.
Speaker 3 (30:06):
Or smoked cannabis? Crazy is in the eye of the beholder.
Speaker 6 (30:11):
I don't know, man, shit, uh, I don't know.
Speaker 5 (30:16):
A concert?
Speaker 3 (30:18):
What concert? First contract? I mean concert?
Speaker 5 (30:21):
I mean, I don't know.
Speaker 6 (30:22):
Honestly, I'll just be smoking in regular places cars, you know,
at a bar, or at the house, events, ship like that.
Speaker 3 (30:31):
That's always good. You just never know.
Speaker 4 (30:32):
Maybe you smoking jail or something crazy where you're like,
oh yeah.
Speaker 5 (30:36):
I did wild people do well?
Speaker 3 (30:37):
He did? Yeah, they do. Look at Blue.
Speaker 4 (30:39):
He's a product of the the system for sure.
Speaker 3 (30:44):
We heard some crazy stories.
Speaker 2 (30:46):
Get worst is sitting there like this, oh yeah, pulled
out a joint and I'm like not, no one's trying
to pay no attention to it, and he's just like, you.
Speaker 3 (30:56):
Want to smoke.
Speaker 2 (30:57):
I'm like yeah, I And then my other homeboy came
through the hallway.
Speaker 3 (31:02):
He was like, blow, what's up?
Speaker 2 (31:03):
And he started spraying under the thing, and then he
caught a case because he was covering the smell. Dude
was a lifer, so he didn't give a fuck. He
was like, I don't give a fuck. I'm a lifer.
I'm the fuck all right?
Speaker 3 (31:14):
Fuck?
Speaker 2 (31:14):
You know question number four the High five, what is
your go to munchie after you get high?
Speaker 6 (31:19):
Shit, I'm a big sour candy person. Okay, sour candy.
I'll go with them, sour punt, strong sola, classic, sour punk.
Speaker 3 (31:27):
Straw andy, skinny too. Huh yeah, ye, I love that.
I love that little skinny fucking high metabolism.
Speaker 5 (31:33):
Motherfucker? Hey should I do eat a lot?
Speaker 1 (31:36):
Though?
Speaker 5 (31:37):
Right now I'm at like twenty two hundred colories a day.
Speaker 3 (31:39):
Nice you count calories? Huh?
Speaker 5 (31:40):
Hell yeah, I'm.
Speaker 3 (31:42):
Not mad at that.
Speaker 4 (31:43):
Question number five of the High five. But the co
founder of Quickies pre Roll, Zach Powers, make sure you
guys go check him out all over California, hopefully in
a state near you or our country near you.
Speaker 3 (31:55):
But Quickies is making his round, Zach. If you could
smoke with anyone dead or a lie, who would it be?
And why? Ship?
Speaker 5 (32:04):
Kevin Samuels, Who the fuck is Kevin? Yeah?
Speaker 3 (32:10):
Man, double as fuck Kevin Sandals.
Speaker 6 (32:13):
Kevin Samuels Samuels. Yeah, it was like Internet personalities, like
a you know, he just went he went viral for
having like these one on one uh you know, video
records like on a zoom call or whatever. And he's
he really was like a stylist is what he started
off as. And then he started getting into like I
(32:34):
don't know, it was like coaching, coaching for men, coaching
for women.
Speaker 5 (32:37):
And he's got a lot of like viral videos.
Speaker 8 (32:39):
Nice cool motivation, very player, very smooth look, you know,
like he had to suit on like you know, very
simple but expensive, like glasses, like you wore glasses, you know,
but you look very business very clean.
Speaker 3 (32:53):
What made you fucking like this guy? Like? What where
is this ship?
Speaker 5 (32:56):
Man?
Speaker 3 (32:57):
I don't even find him.
Speaker 6 (32:58):
He was smooth, I'll be honest with you, because he
he's actually promoting traditional style marriages and I fuck with that. Yeah,
he's like really trying to get people to understand like
where people are going wrong and ship when these marriages.
Speaker 3 (33:12):
So it's I love that one woman kind of guy.
Speaker 5 (33:15):
Yeah, that's that's where I want to be.
Speaker 3 (33:17):
Yeah, for sure, you know what, that's a good thing.
I I can fuck with that. Like right now, huh,
you're dating right now? Oh, you know, trying to find
one trying to find that one woman special?
Speaker 5 (33:27):
Special?
Speaker 3 (33:28):
Is this him right here that we have right here
to did Connor. Find him? Is that him? Connor?
Speaker 5 (33:32):
Yep, that's the boy.
Speaker 2 (33:34):
Ah right there, Okay, that's the dude you want to
smoke with my pasture.
Speaker 7 (33:41):
He was big on social media right before he passed,
like he was going passed away. Yeah, he he passed away, right,
Kevin Samuels, Yeah, yeah, he was going like real big
and then sadly passed away. I guess it's saying hypertension
is what he passed from.
Speaker 3 (33:56):
You, Connor, knowing who he is a little bit.
Speaker 4 (33:59):
Been around the block exactly. That's a good one right there.
That's a more random thing to come out of your mouth.
Zach like that, I'm just even more surprised. So, Zach,
how many how many come in this box?
Speaker 3 (34:10):
Are here? Man? Seventy seventy come in a box.
Speaker 5 (34:13):
Seventy come in the box. That's right now.
Speaker 6 (34:15):
I literally got the new packaging at the ports, so
we're gonna come in fifty packs.
Speaker 3 (34:19):
Okay, nice?
Speaker 6 (34:20):
Yeah, we got a nice new master box, nice new
Dike cut, custom shape packaging of the logo.
Speaker 3 (34:26):
You know what I'm saying.
Speaker 6 (34:26):
I'm gonna be the only pre roll pushing out of
custom shaped I cut my Lar bags right now.
Speaker 2 (34:31):
Nice nicely and then you baby, come on, you like
them on, baby, they they end up sideways that they
come out like a like a roll like that, like
just fillip? Are they how they pop out?
Speaker 5 (34:41):
They pop out? It's just a one by one cube.
Speaker 3 (34:44):
I talk the new one.
Speaker 6 (34:45):
The new one is a one by one cube that
is going to be distributed in and honestly, the I
don't believe it doubles as a display. I can't remember
if it doubles as a display or not. But if
if it if it doesn't have to figure that out.
Speaker 2 (35:00):
Yeah, yeah, because I like the little display that it's cool. Yeah,
it's a nice little feature, you know. I mean it's
cool countertop.
Speaker 4 (35:07):
Want it matches the whole wording I mean quickies And
then like it's so funny, like we always say it too,
and hearing you guys say it online, who's not down.
Speaker 3 (35:15):
For a quickie? Everyone loves a quickie. It's so cliche.
