(01:04):
that my number one rule of money is that your
health is your wealth. You can't be wealthy if you're
not healthy. That's why I want to let you know
you can still get health insurance.
Speaker 5 (01:12):
Guys.
Speaker 4 (01:12):
I know it is past open enrollment that is big misconception.
So if you are looking for better healthcare at a
better cost, check out our friends at clearwaterhealth dot com.
Clear WaterHealth is a benefits platform for independent workers and
companies who need health care for their employees. You all
know that thirty million people are not even insured. This
impacts the lives and livelihoods of so many. If you
guys need insurance for your company, do what I did.
(01:33):
Check them out clearwaterhealth dot com. In fact, like an idiot,
I also missed the deadline. I did apply today, so
my shit will take in effect in about sixty days.
So that's why I want you guys to check them out. Now,
you guys, I'm super stoked for today's show, mainly because
I just got back from TPE twenty four and it
got me to think and man, capitalism in this country
is dying a slow death. You guys need to have
(01:53):
an alternative source of income. The goal of today's show
is that I'm going to reward the listeners of CT
one oh one and Financial Fried. By the end of
the show, you're gonna have a direct way of how
you can make money by listening to this show. So
listen up. First of all, you know today I'm gonna
cover TP twenty four. I'll tell you a little bit
about what it is. I'm gonna explain to you how
you're gonna make that money, but I'm gonna explain to
(02:14):
you how Elon Musk is somehow related to all of this.
If you don't know what TPE twenty four is, it's
called Total Product Expo. That's one of the largest conventions
in Las Vegas.
Speaker 5 (02:24):
Blew.
Speaker 4 (02:25):
Myself and a couple of staff just got back from it,
and it really opened up my eyes to all the
world of possibilities that are out there and the brands
that are getting in this game.
Speaker 5 (02:33):
Right now.
Speaker 4 (02:33):
When I say this game, I'm not just talking about cannabis.
I'm not just talking about marijuana dispensaries or ancillary brands
connected to cannabis, which we're all there and representing. But
I'm going to talk to you about the players that
are getting in. In fact, Bugatti, they're not paying me
to do this, guys. But I was so impressed that.
And why would Bugatti get into the vape business, right,
(02:53):
you know, arguably not the sexiest thing to do. And
Bugatti cheapest car is like three million bucks, right, you
got to go in a way to list, etc. So
why would a brand like that lower their image if
fuel by being aligned with the vape brand. Well, it's
because everybody recognizes the opportunity from a capitalistic standpoint. Some
of the names that I saw out there, guys. Obviously
Mike Tyson had his own brands, he had his own vabes,
(03:15):
Chris Brown was out there, Ronaldo the soccer player, Dennis Rodman,
and the list went on. So it really opened up
my eyes that not only does everybody get into the business,
but the sheer volume of people.
Speaker 5 (03:26):
That were there.
Speaker 3 (03:27):
No.
Speaker 4 (03:27):
TPE is just for B to B B to B,
meaning business to business. So the people that were out
there were literally there to make business. Multimillion dollar deals
were being made right there in these little tiny studios
that they had in the background.
Speaker 5 (03:40):
So while I was.
Speaker 4 (03:41):
At TP and I think Connor's going to pull up
some slides here. But one of the coolest things that
we saw now these expos and if you've ever been
to conventions, there's a lot of really attractive women that
are hired by the different brands to basically garner action,
right or garner attention if you will.
Speaker 5 (03:56):
Right.
Speaker 4 (03:56):
So Rodman was there obviously representing his brand, but when
he walks through the convention floor, swarm of flies follow
him to the booth that he's going to. So there's
a huge value add to these brands by bringing on
these celebrity. You know, Rodman didn't sit there in his
garage and the vappen for himself, but really he aligned
himself with either a white label partner an existing brand.
(04:16):
And I say Rodman, but all of them are the same, right.
None of these brands were founded in brainchild by the celebrity.
The celebrity partnered up with this brand and basically they
launched and they come to these shows to get purchasers
or to get orders from dispensary smoke shops, liquor stores, etc.
Speaker 5 (04:33):
Etc.
Speaker 4 (04:34):
Now, why am I bringing all this up? While I
was at the convention. We're walking through, we're walking by
the celebrities. We're walking by all the beautiful women and
I see the cyber truck. Now, if you guys already
have heard my show, you know that I'm a big
fan of Elon for various different reasons. But this truck,
I have one of the first deposits down. I was
super stoked to see it. It was one of the
first times. And if Connor hits play, you'll see what happens.
(04:56):
It was the first and only booth that I saw
where we were like, hey, move over, beautiful girl, I.
Speaker 5 (05:02):
Want to see the truck now.
Speaker 4 (05:04):
In this case, the beautiful galas and her name was Zoe,
and she was super gracious about it, and she said,
you know, it's funny this.
Speaker 5 (05:10):
You're not the first one.
Speaker 4 (05:11):
You know, the car's getting more attention than us, which
was fined by them. Now the car, by the way,
absolutely beautiful, a little bit of aftermarket parts on it,
but that's what the truck looks like. It's high in demand,
and you know, this guy's crushing it, you know, regardless
of what your belief's on and what Elon's doing, from
space to the ground to underground to satellites, I mean,
(05:32):
the list goes on and on and on what this
guy's doing. But did you guys, if you guys have
watched the news, and when I say capitalism is slowly
dying in this country without getting political, this dude was
supposed to get fifty five almost fifty six billion dollars
pay and he got it reversed. Now, when you first
hear that, or you hear these soundbites that the media
(05:52):
wants you to see, they want to make you feel like, oh,
there's you know, this guy's an asshole, or this guy's
too rich. Why is he getting paid fifty seven billion dollars?
Speaker 5 (06:00):
Right? And on the surface, for most of.
Speaker 4 (06:02):
Us who most of us, all of us who are
not billionaires, right, fifty seven billion sounds like such an
obscene amount of money to get as a paycheck. But
what they don't tell you in the medium, what you
don't see on TV and where I see there's an
agenda to drive away from capitalism. This dude's when he
started at Tesla, Tesla was doing about sixty billion.
Speaker 5 (06:22):
It was a sixty billion dollar valuated company.
Speaker 4 (06:24):
Right now, what he did with this pay and his
border directors approved it is what he said, is said,
hey set some benchmarks for me, in fact, make this
benchmark so freaking high that if I hit that number,
you'll give me an x amount of pay. I won't
take a single paycheck. Think about that froman You're a
guy that's hid demand. People are willing to give you
(06:44):
billions of dollars of salary to come be their CEO.
Speaker 5 (06:48):
And he believed so much in.
Speaker 4 (06:50):
What he was doing that he said, I will not
take a penny until I hit these metrics, and if
I hit these metrics, then I want to get paid XYZ.
Now enough for most of you that have been following
what Tesla has done. They went from a sixty billion
dollar company to six hundred billion dollar company, and in fact,
for a brief moment they were toying with about a
(07:11):
trillion dollar valuation and if you do the math on that,
this guy ten xt the valuation of a fortune five
hundred company in an amount of time, and all the
news articles were that he's going to fail, it's about
to go bankrupt. The dude was sleeping at the office.
Then they're like, you broke codes in San Francisco. Because
you're not a motel you shouldn't be sleeping at the office.
(07:32):
They threw everything at this guy for him to fail.
He hit his six hundred billion valuation, he hit record
number of sales, and by contract, he was told that
he's going to get paid fifty six billion dollars. And
if he didn't hit those numbers, and if the company
had failed, he would have got zero. Now, if you
know and understand how the stock market works, shareholders have
(07:54):
one hundred percent built in in alignment with him. Meaning
if the stock goes up and that's the only way
the valuation of the company goes up, then the stockholders
are winning too.
Speaker 5 (08:04):
So really, who's disgruntled.
Speaker 4 (08:06):
Well, what happened was a couple of people got together,
they went to federal court and they said, it's not
fair that you're getting paid this much money, and a
federal judge was his decision was made. It was left
in the hands of this judge, and he gets fifty
seven billion dollars erased. Now, if you don't like him,
or if you think that's an obscene amount of money,
that's fine. But when a contract is built, and when
(08:28):
you start a company and you tie your success to
the success of the shareholders, that by definition, my friends,
is capitalism.
Speaker 5 (08:35):
And when you now have the.
Speaker 4 (08:36):
Legal system who's got a political agenda on top of them.
Because if you've been following what Musk is doing, he's
an The current administration doesn't like him for whatever reason.
As much as they tellt clean energy. When they had
a clean energy conference in Washington, Guess who was invited Ford, Toyota,
foreign brands.
Speaker 5 (08:54):
Guess who was not.
Speaker 4 (08:55):
Invited to the freaking clean energy car convention that they
have at the White House?
Speaker 5 (09:01):
Tesla Musk.
Speaker 4 (09:02):
Does that make any sense to you? Nobody would be
driving electric car if it wasn't for this guy. He
developed an entire sector, shifts, changes the entire economy of
the auto industry. And then his reward is you're not
only not invited, but we're going to put as much
crap in your way for you to not be successful.
And you're still successful. And oh, by the way, you're
launching satellites, you're doing all this other shit successfully on
(09:24):
the side. You know, to me, that's just if there's
not a bigger sign that the forces are against us
right now when you really study and if and I'm
not going to get into the weeds on this and
bore you, but if when you really get into the
weeds of what capitalism is, and what socialism is, and
what socialism.
Speaker 5 (09:40):
Has done to other countries. It really gets if you've noticed.
Speaker 4 (09:42):
I've never been this fired up doing a one on
one content show, but this shit just pisses me off,
and it should piss you off. Not because he's not
getting his fifty six billion, but they can't change the
rules on you. Right, you guys, remember, and I've said
this on the show before, but it's worth repeating. You
remember the story of GameStop. GameStop was this stock you know,
during the during COVID who you know, who the hell
(10:04):
was going to the movies a MC? And GameStop? Who
the hell is buying video games at a store anymore?
When you can download every video game? Right, So these
two stocks were really beat up. A bunch of kids
got together and adults and smart people, the average investor,
not Wall Street, got together and they said, hey, what
if we all on Reddit agreed to buy the stock
at the same time, run it up, and then when
we want sell it, that's not illegal. So they start
(10:26):
doing it, and the stock goes up and up and up.
Then they start then they then they want to cash out.
Now here's the funny part.
Speaker 5 (10:33):
Of the story.
Speaker 4 (10:35):
The person who had the most amount of shares at
the Wall Street level right was what was the name
of that website? Connor That that you could buy stocks
really cheap, that all the little rookies were able.
Speaker 5 (10:46):
To get into robin Hood.
Speaker 4 (10:47):
Robinhood now Robinhood if you do your homework, guys, was
bankrolled by Charles Schwab. So as this is happening, Schwab
is like, holy shit, we can't you know this is
going to hurt them. My business partner at the time,
he says to say, Tony, isn't this great the little
guys Finally getting me back to the big guy, like
what do you mean? He's like, look, all these people
are becoming really wealthy by driving up this price in
(11:09):
a legal way. And what I said, dude, you have
seen nothing. This is such a rigged game. He goes,
what do you you know? What do you what do
you mean? What do you think is going to happen?
I said, buddy, don't don't be surprised if tomorrow you
wake up and they tell you that the power went
out at the New York stock has changed and that
unfortunately you can trade the stock anymore in the meantime
it goes down. Well, guess what, guys, the next day,
(11:30):
that's the show dogs going at it over here in
the studio, ases and gentlemen, it's my doggy.
Speaker 5 (11:42):
So that's why we do unscripted shows.
Speaker 4 (11:45):
So as I was saying, what happens the very next day,
guys is they came out with the rule. Now what
happened truthfully behind the scenes, and Charles Shaw picks up
the phone to the higher ups that the stock has
changed and says, hey, let's not let anybody sell the
stock anymore or bust use me buy you can only
sell it, in other words, artificially drive the price down
so that these big guys can win again. And it
(12:07):
is the most egregious ubscene shit I've ever seen on
Wall Street in the twenty years that I was on there.
That's like having a four quarter football game during the
Super Bowl. Your team's win in by thirty and all
of a sudden, two minutes left in the game, they're like,
you know what, let's add a fifth fucking quarter. This
shit should piss everybody off. I didn't see riots in
the street. I didn't see people pick getting Wall Street.
People just move on and you guys. This is what
(12:28):
the system is built on on. This is part of
the reason why I got banned from Wall Street. I
couldn't share these stories. You get silenced. If you talk shit,
you wake up dead or hung like Homeboy did. Right Like,
There's so many layers to this shit.
Speaker 5 (12:40):
Now.
Speaker 4 (12:41):
I'm not saying this to go on a political ran.
I'm not saying this to be a fan of Elon.
I'm not saying this to give you any stock advice
other than the fact that if there's never been a
bigger sign that you need to be in charge of
your own destiny, this.
Speaker 5 (12:52):
What should be a wake up Paul, look.
Speaker 4 (12:54):
Up everything I'm saying, see if anything's exaggerated. These are
just one of a thousand stories that I got that
I saw with my own eyes of how this is
such a rigged gam at the highest freaking levels, and
somehow nobody talks about it. If they chirp about it
a little bit on the news, and then they go
on and then all of a sudden, you got freaking
what's her name marrying the football player and then you
see that that football player gets a twenty million dollar
(13:15):
contract from Pfizer.
Speaker 5 (13:16):
And I'm not a conspiracy theorist.
Speaker 4 (13:18):
But sometimes when so many of your conspiracy theories start
coming true, it's a conspiracy theory not to.
Speaker 5 (13:23):
Have a conspiracy theory. Right, I'm gonna take your break.
Speaker 4 (13:26):
When I come back on Financial Fridays, I'm gonna let
you guys know what you can do directly right now
today by being a listener of the show to make money.
Speaker 5 (13:32):
We'll be right back on Financial Fridays.
Speaker 2 (13:34):
We'll be right back with the Financial Friday five on
Cannabis Talk one on one's Financial Fridays with the Insider
Investor Tony K. Welcome back to Cannabis Talk, one on
one's Financial Fridays with the Insider Investor Tony K. It's
(13:55):
now time for the Financial Friday five.
Speaker 5 (13:57):
Guys. Have you ever found yourself caught up or need
a lower to help you out?
Speaker 4 (14:00):
Well, you got the man for you, guys, call our attorney,
mister Freddie seegat the Fox Firm. This dude's been in
business for over twenty years. He's become one of the
best known criminal defense and cannabis law attorneys in the
state of California, as well as entertainment lost. Some of
the biggest names we've had on the show have been
clients of his, from low level misdemeanors to high level filonies.
The Fox Firm offers a free initial consultation on everything.
(14:21):
Guys call them right now three one oh eight seven
seven five zero three three again three one oh eight
seven seven five.
Speaker 5 (14:26):
Zero three three.
Speaker 4 (14:27):
Better check out their website, The Foxfirm. Now that's with
twoxes dot com. The Foxfirm with twoexes dot Com, Ladies
and gentlemen. We're back here on Financial Fridays on CT
one oh one. Before we left, I was explaining to
you why I feel like capitalism is dead. Now we
can go into the weeds on this, and in fact,
good friend of mine, Fabian Revolved.
Speaker 5 (14:45):
Whose podcast also talks a lot about this.
Speaker 4 (14:47):
But you guys want access to them or wanted me
to connect with you, please hit me up. But I
love watching other programs. I love what other people are
exposing And one of the things I love about the
podcasting platform is it's truly one of the last vehicles
that you're going to be uncensored on. If I want
to put this whole thing right now on X, I
can do it. If I want to put it on
my own platform, I can do it. We're fortunate enough
(15:08):
to be partnered with iHeartRadio, so right now we are uncensored.
Speaker 5 (15:11):
We can say what we want to do.
Speaker 4 (15:13):
But you know what, guys, when you start making too
much noise, that's when big brother steps in and you'd
be surprised the things we see here just being cannabis
talk one on one. The shadow banning we experience on YouTube,
the shadow banning we experience on meta, the manipulation of
the eyeballs at the highest levels. Again with what agenda right,
what's better Big Pharma, Big Farmer is advertising on every
(15:35):
damn commercial during the Super Bowl. You guys watch you
know that's not shadow band. But what we're doing with
the natural plant and expanding education, that's being shadow Bland.
Speaker 5 (15:44):
It's the little things.
Speaker 4 (15:45):
I'm going to give you guys, these little nuggets to
hopefully educate so that you can articulate on what we
can do and what you can do now. Before we
left on break, I promised you there's ways that I
want to show you guys right now. By partnering up
with us, you can make money right now. When I
make money, I mean real money. I don't need to
buy anything. I don't need you to necessarily sell anything.
I don't have a fancy product, and as sure as hell,
(16:05):
isn't a get rich quick scheme. You've seen one of
the shows we did with the group here that works
in the office. You guys have heard Connor, engineer Connor
on the soundboard. Connor, you started here what as a.
Speaker 6 (16:16):
What I was, you know, just a production intern, and
then I did everything kind of across the board and
then landed in the sound engineering.
Speaker 4 (16:27):
You know when he started and he's being modest, he
was a world renowned soccer player.
Speaker 5 (16:31):
He was traveling the globe.
Speaker 4 (16:33):
He injures himself a little bit, but he popped into
here as an intern and now he's an integral part
of the team. Producer Daniel, who you guys saw on
the show last time, same thing man. The guy was
a mover before he came in here. He put in
his dude and he established a new career path for him.
It's never too late to reinvent yourself. Right When I
gave up all my licenses and took up a lifetime
ban from Wall Street, there really was not that many
(16:53):
directions I could go, But all of a sudden, the
more I put myself out there. The more I told
my story, I got an opportunity like this. So no
matter where you're at, what you're doing at this point
in your life, I promise you, there's a way that
you can pivot. There is, so there's an ocean of
money out there. Guys, don't fall for this hype that
right now the economy sucked. Yes, inflation sucks, Yes, all
this crap's going on in the world. But at the
(17:14):
end of the day, if there's one takeaway I want
you to take from today's show, you are in charge
of your own destiny.
Speaker 5 (17:19):
Ladies and gentlemen.
Speaker 4 (17:19):
Now when I said you can make money by partnering
up with us at the show, you guys have heard
me talk about Cannabis Talk Magazine Sometimes during the commercials
we talk about it. Cannabis Talk Magazine was a vision
that Blue and Joe had here at c T one
oh one, and they said, listen, we've crushed the podcast game.
We're crushing the game when it comes to media. But
now let's go to print media. Let's have a full color,
glossy magazine that's dropped off in all the relevant stores.
Speaker 5 (17:41):
It's a free.
Speaker 4 (17:42):
Magazine as well as a digital magazine. When it first started,
it was like, well, shit, how are we going to
make money off this? This shit is expensive. It's a nice,
glossy magazine. If you guys want want to hit us
up or drop by the studio, I'll grab you one.
But my point is there's so many. When I was
at TPE, originally my thinking was, all, right, well, which
brands would want to be advertisers? At the end of
the day, any media as an advertising company, right, they
(18:04):
got to sell advertising in order to deliver you the product.
You're hearing my voice because there's a lot of advertising
that's sold on iHeart and on the shows, and that's
how these companies make money. But this is also a
phenomenal opportunity for you. I didn't appreciate this opportunity until
I saw mjbiscon TPE twenty four, the event that I
just came back from that we were talking about in
(18:25):
the first segment. But when I was there and I
see all these celebrities aligning with the industry, I see
Bugatti aligning with the industry, I think I got the
hat and I go swear other than free merche that
they're not paying for this yet. But they are an
ideal sponsor because I understand the value of a brand.
I understand the value of a pivot, and just because
you're a luxury car brand, all of a sudden, these
guys are Now they're dropping like a four hundred dollars
(18:47):
vate pen that looks like a Bugotti key identical replica.
But again, this isn't a knockoff. Bugatti actually licensed this shit,
which blew my mind. I really wanted research it to
make sure that was true. And from what I can tell,
it's absolutely true. And if I'm wrong, please somebody tell me.
The point is now that we got the magazine, now
that we got the podcast, now that we're doing live events.
(19:07):
We're doing Cali Vibes Festival here in about a week
in Long Beach with wiz Khalifa, Ice Cube, the Rude,
slightly Stupid, I mean, Gwen Stefani. It's a three day
festival on the water. For those of you aren't in California,
God willing it isn't rain. That'll be a shit show. No,
I'm sure we'll still make it work. But here in California.
You know, that's a festival that we got involved with.
(19:28):
But every single one of these involves opportunities. And if
you're listening to my voice right now and you're thinking, gosh,
I know a brand that would work look good in
that magazine. I know a brand that would like to
be on financial Fridays. I know a brand that would
want to be sponsored with you.
Speaker 5 (19:41):
Guys.
Speaker 4 (19:41):
When you bring the whole show set out to Cali Vibes,
this is your opportunity to reach out to me personally.
If you want to reach out to me. Sells here,
anybody here. We're one big family. But it's an opportunity
for you to bring us a relationship that says, listen, man,
you know my buddy owns the suspensary, My buddy owns
a vape brand. My buddy is starting this beverage that
has nothing to do with CA cannabis. But we want
to roll with you guys. We see the reach that
(20:02):
you have six million impressions per month. We see the festivals,
We see that you guys are growing. Let me grow
with you. Let me be Daniel, let me be Connor,
let me be a half dozen others here that are
working here that all started as interns. It's a direct
and immediate opportunity. And when you bring these relationships to us.
Not only do I want to compensate to you, but
I want to empower you on how you can go
and develop other relationships. And guess what we had A
(20:24):
young gal by the name of Mary saw this opportunity.
She has a hotel in Thailand. Thailand, if you guys
have been watching, is now at the forefront of legalization
when it comes to cannabis.
Speaker 5 (20:33):
So what does she do?
Speaker 4 (20:34):
She said, Hey, guys, what if I can actually create
this magazine with your name, but it will be Cannabis
Talk Thailand. And what if I could partner up with
these big influencers in Tokyo and do Cannabis Talk Tokyo.
We sat down with us, tire Up Blue signed off
on it, and boom, we're now rolling out the magazine
and Thailand and Tokyo. I share this story not to
impress you, but to impress upon you the opportunities that
(20:55):
are out there, guys. And again, I probably haven't been
this fired up about a segment or a show and
a long time, But mainly it's because I'm coming from
you from the heart. I'm coming to you from experience
when I lost. If you've heard the very first show,
my mess is my message. When I lost apps of
fuso lutely everything, when I had not two pennies rubbing
together to my name, the biggest regret I had is
that I did not have multiple sources of income. And
(21:17):
what I want to preach to you today is, if
it's not the opportunities that I'm mentioning to you, look
for opportunities in your life that can create alternative sources
of income. Because if there's one thing the events of
four years ago where the whole world got shut down,
it is the power of having your income stream may
get shut down tomorrow for whatever reason. It could be compliance,
it could be that you got fired, it could be
that that industry shifts. There's so many studies out right
(21:41):
now that the biggest disruption. All the AI chatter is
to distract you from what's really happening. You think photo
editing is going to have a future when AI can
do it, and like that, you think half a dozen
different industries, like driving a truck when there's a Tesla
truck that can pull nine other trucks with one driver.
There's so many industries that are gonna get disrupted. And
I'm not saying this for you to panic if you're
(22:01):
in any one of these industries, but I promise you
and you can come back to this. And one of
the things I love about what Blue says is we're
time travelers. You're going to travel time with me. Ten
years from now, You're going to come back to the show. Anybody,
Holy shit, that dude was right. That dude was right,
because here I was in an industry that I thought
I was making six figures, maybe even seven figures a year,
but that industry got completely destroyed because AI came in
(22:23):
and basically fifty jobs were taken over by two people.
Speaker 5 (22:26):
Right Again, I'm.
Speaker 4 (22:27):
Not here to scare the shit out of you if
you're in an industry that I mentioned, but I want
you to open this. Shit doesn't happen overnight. If there's
one thing I learned in twenty years on Wall Street
was that things happen slowly, but if.
Speaker 5 (22:38):
You have visionaries around you.
Speaker 4 (22:39):
And I've come to this realization not on my own,
not because I'm just studying by myself, but I've surrounded
myself with winners the topest of all walks of life,
from entertainment to vehicles to restaurants, to hospitality, and I
see the riding on the wall. There's certain industries that
are recession proof. My mom's been a hairstylist for thirty
five years. Everybody's going to need a freaking haircut. Maybe
(23:00):
you'll get a robot one day that can cut hair,
but people have a very intimate relationship. My mom still
goes to work because she feels she's the therapist for
her clients. She's had people there from when they were
two months old and now they're thirty five years old,
so she feels a kinship with them. There's certain industries
that will not be disrupted. Everybody's going to need a
hair cut, right, So that's Allie again. He's on a
(23:20):
rampage today, so.
Speaker 5 (23:22):
He's pissed and stuff said, I don't know what's going on. So,
you know, before I go to the.
Speaker 4 (23:27):
Third segment again and I hesitate to kind of even
be And I was talking to the guys on break
there like is this too much?
Speaker 5 (23:33):
Am I being too aggressive?
Speaker 4 (23:34):
And they said no, I think this is what we
need to hear, and especially to the younger generation. You know,
I talk about I still feel young, but I know
I'm a little I'm a few generations Ahead XYZ, whatever
the hell it is right now, I don't even know
what I am. The point is there's going to be
a lot of industries. There are gonna be disruptions, so
look for sources of income. Now when we go to
the break, I'm gonna come back to you finally with
Master Mentors Live. And when what we're doing you guys
(23:56):
probably again heard me talk about it in other episodes,
but I want to give you a third way that
you can start making money by being an audience of
the show.
Speaker 5 (24:03):
We'll be right back on Financial Friday.
Speaker 2 (24:05):
We'll be right back with more Financial Fridays with the
Inside Investor Tony k. Make sure you follow Tony at
the Insider Investor. Welcome back to Cannabis Talk one on
ones Financial Fridays with the Inside Investor Tony Ka. Make
(24:27):
sure you like, follow and subscribe to the show.
Speaker 4 (24:29):
Now you don't know by now, Now you know, Master
Mentors Live is coming to a city near you. Check
out our website mastermantorslive dot com. This is an education platform.
We're coming to a city near you. It's absolutely free.
Go in register where the hotel near you and if not,
keep an eye on the website. I promise you we're
coming to your town the next year. You guys Master
Mentors Live. You just heard me talk about it during
(24:51):
the commercial break. But again, this is a platform, and
I'm gonna give you some background on this and why
I'm so passionate about it, why i decided to be
a part of the company, and it's something that i'm
really Again, you're gonna see me really fired up about
it and talk about it law during different segments, because
it's one of the things that I wish I had
when I was younger. Right, So, when I went to
college and I started in financial services, I didn't even
(25:11):
know what a mentor was. To be honest with you,
I knew who Tony Robbins was, the dude that inspired
people to run across the poles. He charged like eight grand,
six grand for a seminar. So at that point, obviously
I didn't have that much money. Mentors. I knew what
the word meant, but I didn't think I really needed
one or had one, even being a successful fundancial advisor.
Over the years, different mentorship programs rolled out, But back then, man,
(25:32):
it was just your local network. I didn't have rich parents.
I wasn't in a sorority or a fraternity sorority.
Speaker 5 (25:43):
Oh right, I'm not.
Speaker 4 (25:45):
I wasn't you know again, I wasn't surrounded by people
where I could say, hey, let me manage your account.
And I always relate my personal story to pursue a
happiness with Will Smith because in that movie, if you've
seen it, my life was a direct mirror of that.
In fact, where he starts in Morgan Stanley, it's a
true story.
Speaker 5 (26:01):
I was there.
Speaker 4 (26:01):
I was in the trade center right before the planes
came in, about six or seven days before. But at
the time I didn't have any mentors and as I
kind of went through and I figured it out on
my own. If I look back on that career path now, man,
if I had what I have now or what I'm
offering you guys in the cannabis world, or even encouraging
you if you're a hairstylist, don't just be a hairstylist.
Reach out to the most successful hairstylists that you know
(26:23):
and ask them for advice, drop into their DM stop skirt,
use your social medias for business guys. I mean, I
cannot stress that enough and you'd be surprised that if
you just give somebody a compliment and you tell them that, hey,
they're your role model. This isn't going to be the
highest guy, right, It's not going to be the Joseph
Abaer or whatever that dude's name was. But this is
going to be somebody that you admire, somebody that that
(26:44):
you want to emulate their success. That would be the
next level up. Don't go, don't shoot straight for the
top top Paul Mitchell of the Crew, and I'm using
a hairstylist analogic into my mom probably, but go for
the next level up. You know, reach out to mentors,
ask them and they probably won't even charge you. A
lot of people now when people ask me, you know,
I used to run a paid program, but I like
helping people. So you'd be surprised at the mentorship opportunities
(27:07):
out there. So before COVID hit these guys, and before
I joined up with CT one on one, they had
a very successful education platform. And during COVID obviously we
shut it down. Recently we launched back up. And what
it is is, when you really think about it, getting
in you know, here in California, obviously, cannabis is very
normal to us. There's dispensaries practically on every corner, delivery services, beverages, gummies, edibles,
(27:30):
food products, restaurants that it goes on and on and on.
But there's gosh, at least half the states in the
Union right now, it isn't fully recognized.
Speaker 5 (27:39):
A lot of them ask backwards. Texas is illegal.
Speaker 4 (27:42):
You get a felony with a vatepen So there's so
many rules, there's so many opportunities. But even in the
most restrictive states, they're selling these damn things. They're gonna eventually,
if you believe what we believe, at some point there
will be federal legalization. And if you start planting the
flags right a lot of you are trapped. There's a
lot of you, maybe in states where every state has marijuana,
(28:03):
but the ones that are not legal are doing it illegally.
Let us show you, let us let us give you
the opportunity to plant those seeds. Surround yourself with a
network that provides you the opportunity to say, hey, listen,
you know I just want to have a merch brand
around it. Or maybe I don't have the licenses, but
I have a great marketing idea. There's companies like White
Label Services that you piggyback off of their labels or
(28:25):
their licenses, and you're creating. You're the visionary, you're the marketing.
If you have a great name for it, if you
have great packaging for it. There's so many ways. If
there's one thing you've noticed between the magazines, the podcast,
the studio, the festivals that we're doing, if you notice
not one time that I mentioned a product, nor did
I mention a particular dispensary, because we don't do that.
Speaker 5 (28:45):
We don't touch the plant. We don't touch the product.
Speaker 4 (28:47):
We are a media company and we do very well
at it, and there's dozens of other ways to do
it by touching the plant, and there's a lot of
ways to do it in Sillery. Pet products perfectly segue
with the barking dog. You know, there's so many different
pet brands rolling out. Some lady on here had freaking
CBD tampons at one point. Guys, I'm not making this
shit up.
Speaker 5 (29:05):
Look it up.
Speaker 4 (29:06):
Point is master Mentor's Live. We created that, and what
do we do We come to a town near you.
If you go to master Mentors Live, you'll see all
the different cities were coming to you.
Speaker 5 (29:14):
Hit it up.
Speaker 4 (29:14):
You register, you go there, it's free for ninety minutes.
You're gonna see them lay out what your curriculum will
look like. They have different plans and different You know,
you may want to own a dispensary where you're gonna
need a little bit of higher education and access. Maybe
you just want a little bit more information on the
possibilities out there. You see this green rush, as we
call it. It's the modern day, not gold Rush, but
green rush, and it's still there. Don't let anybody tell
(29:36):
you that the market is saturated. Don't let anybody tell
you that you got to be a millionaire. Don't let
anybody tell you because you're a minority, that you can't
own something out here. In fact, they have unbelievable program,
especially in California. Here where my buddy Freery Rick Ross,
if you know who that is. I did a phenomenal
interview with him a few weeks back. But Free was
sent to prison for life. Guys for life. This dude
(29:56):
got sent to prison. He was one of the biggest
drug dealers. He I think one point, he's making over
a million bucks a day Cia iron contra for I mean,
this guy had everything thrown at him he's sitting in prison,
had never read a book in his life and was
illiterate when he walks into prison, and for twenty years
he educates himself.
Speaker 5 (30:11):
He comes out.
Speaker 4 (30:12):
He had applied to a diversity or an opportunity program
that LA had set up, and he's one of the
first phones. Now that opened up a dispensary a couple
of weeks ago. But that's a phenomenal example I would
think of there's nothing that you got a story that
can beat that. Boohoo, you know, go fuck yourself. There's
no more excuses than a fella who can't read or
write that got out and now has his own dispensary.
(30:34):
So you're never too brown, you're never too black, you're
never too dark, you're never too female. There's so many
opportunities in the space. I hope that I didn't beat
that to death. Connor, do you have anything you want
to add to that, because I know you kind of
got a smile on your face over there.
Speaker 6 (30:45):
No, No, I just I appreciate how animated you are today.
Speaker 5 (30:49):
It might be that I'm not stuck in one of
our uncomfortable chairs either.
Speaker 6 (30:52):
Yeah, yeah, you're standing office here today.
Speaker 4 (30:55):
Well, guys, listen, man, I appreciate you guys. Listen to
my rant. Please give me some feedback, slide into my DMS,
you know what that is.
