Speaker 1 (00:59):
You guys, that's why send all my friends, colleagues, family,
from my good friend, my concierge, doctor mister doctor Thomers. Now,
doctor Chalmers isn't your regular doctor, guys. Doctor Chalmers is
the doctor that other doctors send their clients and.

Speaker 4 (01:11):
Patients to when they don't know what's wrong with them. You, guys,
do me favorite, don't sleep on him.

Speaker 1 (01:15):
Look them up on Instagram, follow me if you like
shooting DM, I'll put you in touch with them. But
doctor Chalmers is doing some revolutionary things in the medical
cannabis community. All of us have been affected by addiction issues.
We've lost people, we know, people cracked out on opioids.
This man just dropped the tech talk that was trying
to get silenced. The tech talk talks about using medical
grade cannabis to cure the opioid addiction. That's something that's

(01:37):
very close to my heart and it's something that he's
super passionate about. He's also using some really cutting edge
techniques with ketamine psilocybin to cure PTSD in addiction. I
cannot stress enough the value and the good that this
man is doing in the world. So do me if
ever look him up. Charmers Wellness dot com or, better yet,
call him direct at two on four four four six
fifty three hundred. You guys, listen up. I'm super stoked

(01:59):
for today's episod because I know we've had some great
guests on but today I have a special guest in
the studio.

Speaker 4 (02:04):
Now, this man.

Speaker 1 (02:05):
If you've been watching and have been a fan of
the show on iHeartRadio, you know these guys have been
on air for over a decade. You've seen them grow,
You've seen them expand their facilities, You've seen the new
affiliation with iHeart Radio. We have the launch of the
brand new, super sexy new magazine that's now gone international.

Speaker 4 (02:20):
We're in Thailand now.

Speaker 1 (02:21):
We got these beautiful new facilities the campus and if
you've ever come to one of our live events, you'll
see this really ugly looking dude with perfect hair in
the background. But he's somebody that I have the privilege
and the honor of seeing almost every week. The president
of CT one on one Studio is mister Chris Frankino.
Notice the studio is really quiet because nobody really likes

(02:43):
frank Keino around here. No, I'm kidding you, guys. This
is the guy that keeps the glue. He's the glue
that keeps the freaking what do we call him hurting
rabbits that we do over here in the studios. We're
hurting cats and rabbits. Sometimes it feels like, you know,
one of the things that these guys have done, and
I'm honored to be a part of it, is we
have something that rolling out now. So, like I said,
if you've been a fan of the show, and if
you've been watching, you've seen us go from just being

(03:05):
a podcast to being an international radio show to now
have the multimedia approach with the magazine, and you've probably wondered, gosh,
I wish I could get in on the game, right
And if you've listened to the Flagship show for years,
you've seen a lot of dispensaries, products, etc. But what
if we told you we now have the ability for
you guys come see us live, for you guys to
get trained hands on by some of the experts, including

(03:27):
Blue Joe Grande, Mister Frankeino himself, and a slew of others.
And what if we told you that we would personally
mentor you. Does that sound good to you? That sounds unbelievable,
Tony Now The best part of this is that this
platform we've just relaunched and it's going live. Fran Kino
tell us a little bit about the history of that platform,
what happened during COVID, and what the audience can get

(03:50):
out of this relationship that we've now.

Speaker 2 (03:51):
For sure, Well, thanks for the introduction, Tony. You know,
what you're talking about is our educational platform, which is
Master Mentors Live, you know. And so what we're doing
is we're taking our education and we're what we've learned
over the many years of being in cannabis, the struggles,
the highs, the lows, and we're taking into the streets
and we're teaching folks what not to do in the
cannabis space and more importantly, what to do once you're

(04:13):
in the cannabis space. Right whether you want to touch
the plant, whether you want to start a magazine, a podcast,
a grow, or you don't want to touch the plant,
or you do, We've got options for you for everybody.
I know you've heard me say this before, but we
all know that in the cannabis space, federal legalization is
absolutely on its way. It's inevitable. It can't keep they
can't keep us back so long, it's not going to

(04:35):
be federally legal forever, and so we're trying to help
others to do what we've done. And that's beyond the
cusp of you know, ready to catch this wave as
it does goal legal. So if you are looking to
start your own brand in the cannabis space, we've got
all the answers in the solution, and more importantly, we've
got the education to teach you how to do that.

Speaker 1 (04:52):
You know, one of the things that we've talked about
on the show previously is the lack of you know,
good education.

Speaker 4 (04:59):
Now on the education system.

Speaker 1 (05:00):
I don't have any kids, but you know, you've got
like a basketball people of kids yourself. But you know,
I see these kids graduate. You know, I would get
these letters. They want to be interns, et cetera. They
want to come work for us. But a lot of
these guys have no real word experience. They're coming out
of college sometimes four eight year colleges, six figures in debt,
and then it's like, what degree do you have about sociology?

Speaker 4 (05:20):
All right, what do you want to do? I don't know.

Speaker 1 (05:22):
I want to go intern a you know, Blockbuster video
or something like that, Right, I think I think there's
a huge need in the marketplace for an education and
something that people can use. But like you said, you know,
me being in this environment now for three to four
years with you guys, I see a lot of different
industries roll through here. The typical surface levels all right,
at the dispensaries, the grows, et cetera. But there's so

(05:43):
many ancillary businesses where these people aren't even touching the flower.
Give us some examples of what those companies are doing,
or what can we teach the students there.

Speaker 5 (05:51):
Well, you know, you actually did kind of just hit
the nail on the head a little bit tony.

Speaker 2 (05:54):
Is that that there's every aspect of any other business,
a lot of it is ancillary. I mean, let's look
at like tobacco or even alcohol. You're gonna tell me
that Anheuser Bush, all they're doing is just producing alcohol
or brewing alcohol, you know, and they're not. And that's
what a lot of folks think that when it comes
to cannabis, it's like, oh, I'm either gonna grow it
or I'm gonna sell it, Right, what about everything else

(06:15):
in between? What about the security guard who's guarding that facility,
What about the packaging company that's producing the packages, the bottles,
or the labels for these other companies, like the alcohol companies.

Speaker 5 (06:26):
What about the HR person.

Speaker 2 (06:28):
What about the guy who's who's running the HR company
for cannabis. I mean, there's so many different aspects of
ways to make money in this industry. I know, and
I've always told everybody it's take your your your strengths
that you your skills that you have for your current job,
but apply that to cannabis because there's an opportunity to
do that. Whether you're an attorney, right, you can become

(06:49):
a cannabis attorney. Whether like I said, you're a security guard,
now you can specialize in and guarding cannabis facilities. Whether
you're maybe an HVAC mechanical engineer, you can go and
help design the ins and outs of how am I
going to you know, quality control my air?

Speaker 5 (07:06):
Am I grow?

Speaker 4 (07:07):
You know?

Speaker 2 (07:07):
So, whatever your strengths are, it can be applied to cannabis.
And now you get to charge that cannabis premium price. Right,
Not only can you get to charge more, but there
is such a great opportunity as as cannabis is expanding
and getting legal and more states that means there's more
growth to build, more businesses to be structured, and that

(07:28):
means they're going to need more bodies and more people
who are talented and skilled to do these things right.

Speaker 1 (07:33):
And you know on the show, previous guests that we've had,
you know that we're in the personal development space. You
guys know that when I was in my darkest time,
it was really surrounding myself with the right mentors, these
things that we keep using this word mastermind, which really
is just a group of people getting together that have
like minded affiliations and want to have best practices.

Speaker 4 (07:51):
So if there's ten.

Speaker 1 (07:52):
People that own dispensaries, there are ten people that have
a business that they want to start in the cannabis
space or the cannabis community. By surrounding themselves with profout,
they're now getting access. And what I always try to
say is you're collapsing time when you have organizations like this, right,
give us a little bit of a background on what
you think right now is headed What are the top

(08:12):
three would you say opportunities in the space For somebody
that's just super greened you put intended, right, but they
want to get into the space. They're like all right,
I'm going to come to a seminar, But what are
the three that you think that you could point to
you to say, you know, that's not saturated or that
there's plenty of opportunity in that specific lane if you will.

Speaker 2 (08:30):
Well, I mean, if we look at right now cannabis,
some of the fastest growing sectors are drinks, right the
drink beverage category, which only took up about one percent
of the cannabis skew sales last week, but our last
week last year, so we know that's one of the
fastest growing sectors right now. Obviously, vapes are consistently solidly

(08:51):
sold across the states. But I think the biggest opportunity
is really going to lie and as new states come open, right,
I mean, as we're talking about like New Jersey and
New York right now, who have their application open to
accept applications so that people can start either to grow
dispensary or something within the space. But when we see
these new states come on, that's where you see the

(09:12):
biggest opportunity in my opinion. And you know, really quick,
I wanted to touch something you just said too. It's
not about everything that you do, know, you know, I mean,
there's a lot to understand and learning cannabis. But I
can go and get a book and learn on how
to grow right. But does that mean that I'm going
to become a professional grower. Probably not until I get
my hands in the dirt right and start to actually

(09:33):
grow some plants, or or I get trained by somebody
who has their hands on the plants. So I do
believe that this space cannabis, and just as in general,
requires more hands on experience or to actually do it
versus learning about it.

Speaker 5 (09:50):
You know, they say.

Speaker 2 (09:50):
Those who can't do teach, and I think that really
does apply into the space today, and it really is
coming down to having more of a mentor somebody who's
been through that and someone who can help guide me
on how to properly do that, because you know, it's
it's especially if a lot of folks think that they
want to grow until they get into the weeds and
they actually start growing, and it's it's it's crazy because

(10:14):
every different plant is its uniquely, its own every strain,
it's going to eat a little bit different. It's just
like you and I, right, we might eat different foods
at different times and we might metabolize them differently, you know,
I mean, our shit's not gonna smell the same, right,
and so every body is different and so is every plant.
So maybe you might have been read a book learned

(10:35):
on how to grow a sativa or how to grow
some some og bubba cush, But until you get into
the again and get into the weeds and get your
elbows into the dirt, it's not going to be the same.

Speaker 5 (10:45):
It's not quite as textbooks as you would like it
to believe, you know. So what we're really doing is
we're teaching you that hands.

Speaker 2 (10:52):
On experience, you know, where some of our workshops you'll
see people physically, you know, cutting plants and physically cloning
them and going through that process of what it takes
to actually open up a nursery or what it takes
to actually get to the point of producing a successful harvest.
So that's some of the stuff that you know, we're
really trying to pay it forward and give give to

(11:14):
our fellow you know, account of preneurs, the guy that
wants to get into the space but doesn't know where
to start or why to start, where we suggest him
to start.

Speaker 1 (11:22):
I'm glad you mentioned that because one of the things
I've noticed as we've been building out this platform, is
that you know, some of you listening may say, well,
I don't really have that much money to start up, right.
I have this vision, I'm good at marketing. I want
to have my own joiner, I want to invent a
new class or you know, myriad of other products if
you will, Right, But they don't have the hundreds of
thousands of dollars or millions of dollars to start to grow.

(11:43):
One of the things I've seen that's unique for what
you guys have created is there's levels for everybody.

Speaker 4 (11:49):
Right.

Speaker 1 (11:49):
You got the person who just wants to learn, that
knows that you know what, maybe in three to four years,
I'm going to be ready. Well we're going to get
you financial ready in three to four years, and along
the way, we're going to teach you how.

Speaker 4 (11:58):
Not to lose money. Right.

Speaker 1 (11:59):
Then you got the other people that maybe have millions
of dollars and they think it's going to be easy
to open a dispensary.

Speaker 4 (12:04):
Right.

Speaker 1 (12:05):
And I've heard at least, you know, no less than
half a dozen people come here here through a week
with horror stories about investing with the wrong group, investing.

Speaker 4 (12:12):
Into the wrong grow.

Speaker 1 (12:14):
You know, right now Oklahoma's on sale. It seems like
they're giving away dispensaries.

Speaker 4 (12:17):
Right.

Speaker 1 (12:18):
So there's so many learning lessons that you see there
and then I see in New York following the same mistakes.

Speaker 4 (12:23):
That California dad.

Speaker 1 (12:24):
You know, so what if we had a way to
kind of again clapse time collapse that experience, and from
a financial standpoint, you really work with the.

Speaker 4 (12:30):
Students on getting them there.

Speaker 1 (12:32):
While we don't offer financial aid per se, there's a
lot of creative ways to tap into money for your education.
And it's something that like you guys, you know, you've
probably heard me say it on my other shows or
even this show, but I can honestly say I've probably
spent over a quarter million dollars.

Speaker 4 (12:45):
On personal development.

Speaker 1 (12:46):
And when you ask me that question, you know, what's
the best investment you've ever made? I always answered myself,
because once you've educated yourself and surrounded yourself with good people,
it's really hard to fuck up.

Speaker 4 (12:57):
Guys, it's really hard to mess up that money. Now
we're going to take a break. We want to come back.

Speaker 1 (13:01):
I'm gonna put stood the financial Friday five. We'll see
you guys back here. On Financial Friday.

Speaker 3 (13:05):
We'll be right back with the Financial Friday five on
Cannabis Talk one on one's Financial Fridays with the Insider
Investor Tony K. Welcome back to Cannabis Talk, one on
one's Financial Fridays with the Insider Investor Tony K. It's

(13:26):
now time for the Financial Friday five.

Speaker 1 (13:29):
And I'm embarrassed to say that I do not have
healthcare insurance. You know, I'm the financial guy, and I'm
literally breaking one of my own roles. And the reason
for that was there was such a hurdle. It was
so confusing and half the time I was like, spread,
I'll just go to the er or urgent care if
I need something. And that's why I'm so excited about
a new relationship we've created here at Seat one oh
one for our audience, and that is clear Water Health.

(13:52):
You guys, this is better healthcare at a better cost,
one of the most user friendly experiences. Open enrollment has
now just opened up yesterday, I believe, so you guys
have until the end of the year to dial in
with these guys. And it's something to where you have
a personal concierge and they literally will tell you if
you have an existing plan, they'll look at it.

Speaker 4 (14:10):
You're either in good hands so they'll beat the price
or they'll give you better coverage.

Speaker 1 (14:14):
I cannot recommend them enough. Please look them up clearwaterhealth
dot com.

Speaker 4 (14:17):
We are now back real quick though time too.

Speaker 2 (14:20):
But clear Water Health also, from my understanding, help to
provide healthcare insurance solutions for people in the cannabis industry
who don't typically qualify for these types of programs because
we're still quote unquote federally illegal.

Speaker 1 (14:31):
You know, I'm so glad you mentioned that, brother, and
this relationship is so new that I almost forget about
all the ancillary benefits we have by being aligned with them.
There's thirty million people in the United States that don't
have healthcare coverage that need it. And you're right, there's
so many exclusions. Back when I was insurance licensed, even
for life and health, so many companies would you know,

(14:51):
you were okay saying you spoke to pack a cigarettes
today you'd get shitty rates. But if you just mentioned
cannabis were you were literally not even being under it,
And so yeah, you were.

Speaker 4 (14:59):
Denied, and then we were literally and then you're on
a shit list.

Speaker 1 (15:02):
You're like on a black list of Oh this guy's,
you know, a pothead, and therefore other carriers wouldn't even
talk to you. So one of the things that we
spoke with with Kat and Jason, the owners of the company,
was we wanted something that was cannabis friendly, that doesn't
penalize people, isn't gouging people. So they've literally aligned. They
started a spin off of an existing insurance company that
they had just for CT one on one on the
Cannabis Mornings.

Speaker 5 (15:23):
Partly as though you know, you don't have to lie
in your application.

Speaker 4 (15:26):
You know, gosh, I'm glad you find.

Speaker 5 (15:28):
Out you've lied. All of a sudden your policy is
now nolan void.

Speaker 1 (15:31):
I had a couple who got life insurance. The dude
died on month eighteen and he had lied about one
little time. I think his age was off by two
years and it was a typo. He got denied three
million dollars of life benefits because of that fun fact.
If you you could lie, as long as they don't
catch it in twenty four months, then you're good to go.
But you know, one of the things I've learned is
I get older in life, bro is like just lying

(15:51):
causes more pain. You know, you think you're trying to
save a buck or two and down the line. It
always bites me in the ass. And now my problem
is I just don't even know how to lie it.
Chicks out ugly. I'm like, yo, you're ugly.

Speaker 4 (16:03):
So yeah, man.

Speaker 1 (16:04):
And by the way, they're also going to be at
MJ Biscon. I think they're gonna have a huge presence
with us in our in our village. You guys are
welcome to come up to them, but just give them
a shot. They don't charge anything. They're not there's no
you know, commissions involved, there's no fee to talk to them.
Just give them a shot. Ask any questions you want.
Is always feel free to reach out to me. So
now that we're back, bro, you know, we started something
here on the show that I love the answers and

(16:25):
I'd never thought I'd put you through it, but I'm
gonna ask you. I got five questions for you. What
was the best investment you ever made?

Speaker 2 (16:32):
Oh gosh, well, like you, Tonia wasn't in myself? That
best my main to myself, But I'll never forget it. Actually,
though I had a law office, some of you may
or may not know that it was called legally yours.

Speaker 1 (16:45):
Uh.

Speaker 2 (16:45):
And I was married at the time to my now
ex wife, And one day I came home to her
and I said, hey, I just spent one hundred and
fifty grand today, and she almost down near lostter shit,
and she was like, on what you know? And what
I had was a Pitney Bow's mail inserting machine in d.

Speaker 4 (17:05):
I don't know this story, Okay.

Speaker 5 (17:06):
So it's a it's a big mail inserting machine.

Speaker 2 (17:09):
So if you put the letters in there, it folds them,
it stuffs some and puts the postage on it, the
whole nine, right. And so I spent, like I said,
one hundred and fifty grand that day on this machine.
Like I said, she almost lost it. But then literally,
if you look for twelve months from that date, I
was able to physically put in my pocket just shy

(17:30):
of a million dollars. It was a nine hundred and
eighty nine thousand dollars that I made for the next
twelve months profit that I was able to put in
my pocket by making that one decision. And like I said,
it was for me. It wasn't a scary decision to
spend the money. It was a scary decision not to
spend the money right, because we were living fairly comfortable,
but we were only really living off of the word
of mouth referrals, people referring one person to the next person,

(17:54):
which really started to snowball. And is what had how
I had the ability to have the capital to buy
that one hundred five thousand dollars machine.

Speaker 4 (18:00):
Where's the machine now? It's uh like shit, let's plug
it in.

Speaker 5 (18:04):
It wasn't storage. It wasn't storage for years and I
got divorced.

Speaker 2 (18:06):
And when I got divorced, you know, I don't know
what happened to the machine.

Speaker 4 (18:10):
Pretty much.

Speaker 1 (18:10):
You don't know what happened a lot of speaking of
a divorce. What's the worst investment into a business or
person you've ever made?

Speaker 5 (18:20):
Well, going back to the ship.

Speaker 2 (18:23):
The perfect Yeah, well, you know, the worst investment though,
was you know, I was putting her through law school
and uh, six weeks before she was set to graduate,
she had relapsed and started using drugs and was using
crystal math and heroin and dropped out of law school.
And so it was there there went four years of
freaking graduate school down down the drain for her, you know,

(18:47):
and and coincidentally you mentioned it earlier. With talking about
doctor Chalmers, you know, had she had that that help
or you know, the option to use something other than
opiates to you know, help her exit drug like right.

Speaker 1 (19:00):
Well, they prescribed drugs to get off of drugs, right,
I'm in methadone at the end of the day, synthetic Caro.

Speaker 2 (19:04):
Had you had counabis, so I fucking thank god we
didn't because I might still be married to the.

Speaker 4 (19:12):
No.

Speaker 2 (19:12):
But seriously, you know that was that was, like I said,
the biggest uh looking hindsight was you know, for me,
was like, fuck, I wish I never would have spent
all that money and time lost and sending someone else
to law school when I should have, hindsight just had
put more money and energy into my own person, you know,
instead of trying to be the good guy and help
help build a family.

Speaker 1 (19:32):
Dude, you know this is off topic, and I'm sure
the guys here in the studio will agree with me.
But I've heard your stories several times about these previous relationships,
and I've had like one bad relationship and I'm jaded
for fucking life. And this dude has had like some
horror stories that he's one of the nicest guys and
you've ended up with a beautiful gal.

Speaker 4 (19:48):
Now, and how many kids you got?

Speaker 5 (19:50):
We have five?

Speaker 4 (19:51):
Good God?

Speaker 5 (19:51):
All girls?

Speaker 4 (19:52):
Oh you are a girl.

Speaker 2 (19:54):
Bad range you from eight eight, while she'll be eight
on the fourteenth, So a couple of weeks here, and
then thirteen year old, and then we have our twenty
year old, twenty two and then twenty.

Speaker 5 (20:06):
Three year old.

Speaker 4 (20:07):
We got a basketball team that's really gospel. That's me.
I have a puppy and that's all I can handle,
all right, brother.

Speaker 1 (20:13):
The question number three on the Financial Friday five is
what is the best present you've ever bought yourself?

Speaker 5 (20:18):
The best present? Oh? What had it have been? My rolex? Excellent?

Speaker 4 (20:22):
All right, that was easy. What's the best present you
bought somebody else?

Speaker 5 (20:27):
Oh? Gosh, somebody else? Hmm. I wasn't expecting that question.

Speaker 4 (20:33):
We've only had it every time on Financial Friday.

Speaker 5 (20:37):
Well, you know last year.

Speaker 2 (20:39):
I mean every year, I guess I take the kids
on vacation. But typically what I like to do for
Christmas gifts, at least for you know, for the missus,
is to give her an experience, you know.

Speaker 5 (20:49):
So like last year for Christmas, we.

Speaker 2 (20:51):
Went to New York and watched a musical on Broadway,
you know, so it's giving those experiential gifts where we're
going to go somewhere do something, Versus, here's a cat
freaking sweater that I got from from Bloomingdale's.

Speaker 1 (21:03):
You know, speaking of cashmere sweaters. What's this little thing
you got wrapped around your neck? You're looking at it,
you see little cashmere?

Speaker 3 (21:10):
What?

Speaker 4 (21:11):
Right?

Speaker 2 (21:11):
Well, what I got on I don't know if you
guys can see it or not, if you guys are
watching the show on the YouTube channel.

Speaker 5 (21:16):
I've got my uh my Kobe scarf here.

Speaker 2 (21:19):
I actually got this scarf that you know, the day
Kobe passed Rest and Peace, I went down to the
stadium as as did you know, tens of thousands of
other fans. I got a couple of T shirts and
sweaters and I got this one too. And so you
see on one side it has Kobe uh uh wearing
his number eight jersey and it shows Draft Day in
nineteen ninety six. And on the other side it shows

(21:40):
a farewell mamba, you know, with his jersey number twenty four.
But you know, really though, what I've my message I've
been telling everybody today is that you know, I really
want to instill.

Speaker 5 (21:49):
On everybody the Mama mentality.

Speaker 2 (21:50):
Yeah, because the mentality and the legacy that he left
us is something that can live on and carry through everybody.
And it's really just goes back to personal development and
putting the extra effort.

Speaker 5 (22:01):
I mean, you're only going to get out as much
as you put in.

Speaker 1 (22:03):
You know, I'd love to do a whole show just
talking about the different life lessons I've gotten from Kobe.
And I was never I'm not a big fan of
organized sports, you know, celebrating some dude making fifty million
a year. This is never my thing, right, you guys
dragged me to the freaking Dodger game to watch them lose. Uh,
But with Kobe there was some you know, there's so
much memories that I have with them. As a family,
we'd watch him, you know, we'd all get around. I

(22:25):
was lucky enough to be at the very last game
that he played at. And man, the electric the energy
I've been in World series is uh super Bowls, And
I've never been to an event where everybody was out
of their seats clapping from opening tip to the end.
I'm not one person would sit down the whole game.

Speaker 4 (22:40):
Bro.

Speaker 1 (22:40):
And then I remember like it'd be the second quarter,
like halfway through and I just had to go pee.

Speaker 5 (22:45):
And he crushed that game.

Speaker 1 (22:46):
Hec like a buzzer beater to close out the game,
to beat the Jazz and do it. It was just
I'm getting goosebumps, as Blue would say, just thinking about it.
But it was just the things that people look at Kobe.
It's like, you know, he was just talented dude. That
dude even up until when he was forty plus, he
was the first one on the court, last one off,

(23:06):
and he would talk shit, get in your face and push.

Speaker 4 (23:09):
You know.

Speaker 1 (23:10):
He started off as the one of the youngest, but
at the end he really was the captain. I think
a lot of those young guys to this day, when
you talk to interviews about with them, they give him
a lot of credit. So I would love to do
another Kobe show. We talked about having a mural in
here as well. But anyways, I know I got off topic,
but Kobe has that effect on me.

Speaker 5 (23:25):
But that's that mambo mentality.

Speaker 4 (23:28):
Baby baby.

Speaker 1 (23:30):
One more thing, man, last question on the Financial Friday
five is if you could buy one thing money is
not an object, what would that one thing be?

Speaker 4 (23:38):
Man?

Speaker 2 (23:39):
What would that one thing be hmm, Well, I'm a
firm believer that my money should make money for me.

Speaker 5 (23:45):
You know, I'd rather have my money work than me work.

Speaker 2 (23:47):
So I'd have to say I definitely gosh, maybe a resort, okay,
you know.

Speaker 4 (23:54):
Out of the blue resort. Do you always want to
be a hotel hearer or what not?

Speaker 5 (23:57):
A hotel a year?

Speaker 2 (23:58):
But you know, we it's that you say that because, uh,
the missus and I have lately been looking at you know, retirement,
not not like plans, but like retarnament investments. You know,
I was looking at retirement investments, right And one of
the things we looked at was like a laundry map,
a coin laundromat because.

Speaker 5 (24:17):
I have very little overhead.

Speaker 2 (24:19):
We also were looking at nail nail salon, you know,
and then we actually started spending a lot of time
looking at storage.

Speaker 1 (24:26):
And it's that's the one you should stick with. If
I could give you a quick little piece of advice.
The first one is a misconception that they're very low maintenance,
believe it or not, even changing in the quarters and
ship is half the battle. Number two, those freaking machines
always ship happens with them because people were saying, and
fucked up ship into them big big loss I albums
had on that one that I dodged. Second one, you know,

(24:47):
I think he almost got to be Asian to have
a freaking nail salon bro.

Speaker 5 (24:51):
That was exactly what I told her.

Speaker 4 (24:56):
It's not gonna work. That ain't gonna work.

Speaker 1 (24:58):
But the third one that you met is actually one
of the hottest sectors right now. Out of all the
things on Wall Street that I saw them screw up.
These storage concepts always makes sense, especially in a down
cycle where everybody's downsizing.

Speaker 4 (25:12):
It's something that.

Speaker 1 (25:13):
It's huge in demanded. You can get one of those
and automate it. That one is truly low cost, very
over hill. And once you automate that shit like the
one right here next door, there's not even a human being.

Speaker 4 (25:24):
It's called digital coda in the can. So I think
that's a phenomenal investment.

Speaker 1 (25:28):
Now, when we come back, I want to take a break,
but I'd like you to tell everybody about the next
events we have with Master Mentors live, where they can
find it and what the steps would be if they
want to hear about it.

Speaker 4 (25:37):
We'll be right back on Financial Friday.

Speaker 3 (25:38):
We'll be right back with more Financial Fridays with the
Inside Investor Tony k. Make sure you follow Tony at
the Insider Investor. Welcome back to Cannabis Talk one on
ones Financial Fridays with the Inside Investor Tony Kay. Make

(26:00):
sure you like, follow and subscribe to the show.

Speaker 1 (26:03):
Now, you, guys, if you come out to MJ Biscon,
I want you to keep an eye out for one
of my favorite brands. It is loranoils dot com. Now
why is it one of my favorite brands?

Speaker 4 (26:13):
You know? Come on please.

Speaker 1 (26:20):
Whenever they're here in the studio, Guys, they come out,
they bring out a full kitchen show. If you can
catch their episodes on YouTube. But one of the things
I love about them is they have quality ingredients. They've
been around for decades. It's a phenomenal company. But more importantly,
they really love the community that we've created.

Speaker 4 (26:35):
They're gonna have a live cooking show.

Speaker 1 (26:37):
We're gonna have a live cooking set right at Mjbiscon
that we're going to dedicate to them.

Speaker 2 (26:40):
You know, she did actually hide you from this. Hidi
from Loando's Law finishes here. She give me a beautiful
recipe on how to make them dairy and sugar free
ice cream.

Speaker 4 (26:51):
You know what's screwed up about that? It's freaking Joe Grande.
You know, it's not supposed to have sugar. We tell
them about all those ingredients. You know, what he does,
goes and he gets regular ice cream.

Speaker 1 (26:59):
Now, that's what I love about her is she's literally
creating recipes for us for people with diabetes, et cetera.
A phenomenal keto browdie that she was talking about, and
they have all the ingredients, you guys, check them out
laranoils dot com. Now we're back here with Chris Frankeno,
one of the co founders of Master Mentors Live. I
was looking at the board we have here in the
studio and there's over thirty two dates ranging from Newark,

(27:21):
New Jersey, Atlanta, Dallas, Houston, and this is just going
into January that we're going to be hitting the Florida,
Tennessee list goes on, it just goes on. Twenty six
states we're targeting here in this comany year.

Speaker 5 (27:34):
And then as more states open up, will be there too.

Speaker 1 (27:36):
That's true, and another opportunity when we were talking about earlier,
all the different things. You know, you guys, we were
constantly hiring right now. We're constantly looking for people. If
any of these ideas that you hear is talking about,
you're like, man, I would love to represent the magazine,
or you know, I would love to expand this brand
into a new state. We're always open for expansion. Guys,
we can't we can't hire enough people right now. Would
you say that.

Speaker 5 (27:56):
No, that's for sure. We're definitely in a hiring boom
right now.

Speaker 1 (28:00):
Give us the website is, if I'm not mistake, it's
master Mentors Live.

Speaker 2 (28:03):
Yeah, check it out at master mentors live dot com.
So that's m A s t E R M E
n t O R s plural live l I v
E dot com.

Speaker 1 (28:13):
Is it gonna cost me thousands of dollars to go
to the seminar? How much does it cost?

Speaker 5 (28:16):
Absolutely? No, it's free.

Speaker 1 (28:18):
Free like what free f r ee baby, fay like
twice as much as nothing.

Speaker 2 (28:24):
Twice infin any times nothing there were going. I mean,
you know they say anything time zero is.

Speaker 4 (28:30):
Zero, baby.

Speaker 1 (28:31):
But this is going to be more than just here,
I believe, if I'm not mistaken, the first venues are
going to be in Jersey.

Speaker 4 (28:37):
Correct.

Speaker 2 (28:37):
Yeah, So we started off in New Jersey November sixteenth
at the Element Owing Princeton Hotel in Trenton. Then we
moved down there on the next day, Friday, November seventeenth,
to Edison, New Jersey at the Hilton Garden Inn. And
then the last day on Saturday, November eighteenth, we stop
at Newark. We are at the Double Tree by Hilton
at the Penn Station. That's Saturday, November eighteenth, and then

(28:59):
we roll into New York, right, so then we're gonna
be all over New York and Brooklyn, Manhattan, Yonkers. So
we're gonna capture all the areas of New York and
and again, you know, it's free to come and attend
this event and it could change your life, you know.
So I would definitely encourage anybody listening to take that
first step and invest in yourself and come out and
check out our free event, you know, and you're gonna

(29:20):
learn all the different ways that we can help you.
We're gonna learn our proven of five step formula to
being successful canapan you or and again, guys, it's it's
it's free, you know. Now, I'm a firm believer, Like
I said earlier, you can go and learn all the
stuff you want about cannabis. I'm giving away the education, right.
It's it's the mentorship though that there's you know, a
smaller charge for. But anybody can learn this, whether you're

(29:43):
a single mother living in a one bedroom apartment apartment
in the Bronx, or like you said, you know, you're
a multi millionaire living up in the Hampton's.

Speaker 5 (29:52):
You know.

Speaker 1 (29:52):
You know you mentioned something about the network and having
access to the mentorship, right, and something that I could
honestly say, and you know, this kind of goes against
what we're talking about, but I think if you hear
it out till the end, it makes sense. One of
the things that I get frustrated about when I advise
people on not to lose money is they go spend
a lot of money learning things that are easily found
on YouTube.

Speaker 4 (30:10):
Right.

Speaker 1 (30:11):
You can almost learn anything, whether it's a course, whether
it's digital media, whether it's social media marketing. There's not
really that much that you can't learn these days by
just going on. There's a lot of free shit out there.
What you cannot find on YouTube is the network and
the mentorship. And I think when we talk about giving
away the education, you know, I was I was here
when we were putting it together, as people coming up
to us saying, oh, you should charge you know, three

(30:32):
hundred dollars for that course or five hundred dollars then,
and we said, look, you know, we've been doing this
for decades. We're not doing this necessarily to create just
these ancillary sources of revenue. We generally want to expand
the community and help. So a lot of you will
just get a ton of free education because that's all
you're looking for now, once you're serious and you're actually like,
you know what, I want to have my own brand.
I do want to start my own CBD company. I

(30:52):
do want to have my own delivery service. I do
want to start my own cooking channel, you know around
cannabis recipes. That's where you're like, you know what, instead
of going to college, I want to tap into a
network where I'm not only getting the education, but I'm
buying that rolladex, I'm buying the relationships.

Speaker 4 (31:07):
You know.

Speaker 1 (31:08):
Blue is somebody that we all know, obviously the founder
of cannabis talk one on one, but that dude's almost
second third generation, and I don't think there's a single
person in the cannabis community that he doesn't know or
doesn't have access to.

Speaker 4 (31:19):
And that is a priceless network.

Speaker 1 (31:21):
And as we all know, once you're in the inner
circle with Blue, your family for life. That's why a
lot of the staff here has been with us forever.
So we really build up our network from within as well.
We don't hire random people from other companies. We really
create our own talent. And by being a part of
Master Mentor's life, I feel like you're kind of getting
almost like a heads up on anybody else.

Speaker 4 (31:39):
You know what I mean, well, and you are.

Speaker 2 (31:41):
You know, there's a reason why Garman and all these gps,
you know, different programs came out because you can certainly
go and try to blaze your own trail and find
your own path to get to the finish line. But
by having a navigation system, it allows us to get
there faster. Right, So you can either get there faster
and follow the the path that's been laid out by

(32:01):
people who have done it before you, or again, you
can try to be a trailblazer and take all the
zigzags and take that long route you'll get there.

Speaker 5 (32:08):
It's gonna take you.

Speaker 2 (32:09):
A lot longer and spend a lot more money and Unfortunately,
in this space, that time that takes you to get there,
you may have lost your opportunity absolutely.

Speaker 1 (32:17):
Now you know, when you guys go to the website,
you'll notice the states that we just mentioned, those are
open from enrollment. If you want to make sure that
you stay on our mailing list, just jump on there.
Register for one of them, click in your email, put
in the notes that you can't attend that event. But
I think from that point on they'll be in the
ecosystem because we're going to keep announcing new locations, new
dates somewhere. Hear the commercials on the radio, right, I mean,

(32:39):
these guys blanket the airwaves. We want to hit as
many people as we can. We'll definitely be coming to
a city near you if you didn't hear it, but
make sure you keep an eye out for that. Chris,
is there anything else you want to add before we
close out the show?

Speaker 5 (32:52):
Well, thanks for having me here today, Tony Pleasure.

Speaker 4 (32:56):
You've never been to the studio.

Speaker 5 (32:58):
It was beautiful place. You guys got it though, But.

Speaker 1 (33:01):
No, dude, I appreciate you guys including me as part
of the family. You know, there's a there's a huge
community here, guys, it looks easy from this standpoint.

Speaker 4 (33:09):
You know, when we're in front of the camera, there's.

Speaker 1 (33:10):
A whole army behind the scenes, including you know, of course, Blue,
Joe Grande, Adrian Emir, The Two, Alexis Mondo, Madison, Teddy
the Show Dog, Daniel Connor, Albert, Kinky, Canbax and name
always changes Beach Barcelara, Ali Muffins, Sunday, Cassie Ruby, Goldie Brother, Pitt,
Mark Karnes, Chris Frank, you know my man, Jennifer, Erica

(33:32):
and Elvis.

Speaker 4 (33:32):
