(01:11):

all over California. They're also currently have three storefronts in
Vista and Sino and Santa Ana where you can physically
shop at all their great lines and see what they have.
They're the products the good old fashioned way by walking

Thank you guys for coming over here today. How you

(01:53):
guys doing.

Speaker 2 (01:53):
Today, doing good? Thank you, thank you so much.

Speaker 3 (01:55):
Nope, doubt man. Thank you guys for coming up here
and telling us. And I just give it a little
description about this company. But fifteen hundred products, you guys
that you guys are delivering all over California. This is
all over California. I mean I could be in the
northern California and go to Speedy Weedy in order fifteen
hundred products from there to San Diego.

Speaker 2 (02:15):
Pretty much. Wow.

Speaker 3 (02:17):
So you guys have hubs all over the place.

Speaker 4 (02:19):
Yes, yes, so we have hubs down in southern southern
California and San Diego. We have a hub in Los Angeles,
and then we also have a hub here in Orange County,
which we get out northern ways you know, or southern sorry,
So we have three and the north, the farthest that

(02:40):
delivery will go to is actually.

Speaker 2 (02:45):
Right below Kest State right.

Speaker 5 (02:47):
Cast Steak we Go, thousand ohs More Park, Newberry Park Valley.

Speaker 3 (02:54):
Oh So, southern California. Majority you guys aren't covering northern California.

Speaker 5 (02:58):
Yet not yet, not too far out there now.

Speaker 3 (03:01):
Yeah, just the the d marks of the good old
Santa Clarita area. Basically Casteak is the last little mark
out there. So how did you guys get involved in
this company?

Speaker 2 (03:12):
You want to go first in?

Speaker 5 (03:14):
Well, myself, I joined Speedy Weedy when they had bought
out the Healing Touch Dispensary and Encino, So I was
one of the lucky ones to build Speedy Weedy and Encino.
So the other locations were already established, but to have

(03:35):
Speedy Weety acquire our location and then become the biggest,
if not the biggest, a delivery service within the area
was pretty awesome. So, I mean, I've been in the
industry for I would say about thirteen years, but definitely
working with Speedy Weaty has been wonderful and definitely an experience,
I'd say, for sure.

Speaker 3 (03:56):
No doubt you guys are growing and just growing tremendously.
And what about you, Bossy, I know you been in
the game for at least ten plus years. Yeah.

Speaker 4 (04:02):
Yeah, I've been in the game for for quite a
while in the cannabis industry, and I got with Speedy
Weedy just through working with the owner and working with
their staff started, you know, building that relationship. And initially
I went on board to help them out on their

(04:25):
their sales aspects of their storefronts. And you know, I
guess getting the butt tenders, the storefront people, you know,
the hard working the backbone of the industry, the frontliners,
the frontliners, that's right, man, getting them up to date
on product knowledge and you know, on good customer service.

Speaker 2 (04:45):
Really, you know, So.

Speaker 3 (04:47):
With three locations and delivery, how big is the company?
You guys have a lot of employees?

Speaker 5 (04:50):
I'm assuming yes, each location has at least one hundred
hundred plus employees.

Speaker 3 (04:57):
At each location, each location that many, so at least
three hundred with three storefronts and then delivery all over
the place.

Speaker 2 (05:03):
Yes, yeah, wow?

Speaker 3 (05:05):
And how fast have delivery?

Speaker 5 (05:07):
Were looking at with you guys, Oh, forty to ninety
minutes is are but we definitely, you know, give or take,
but we have enough drivers to definitely get you your
orders quickly.

Speaker 3 (05:17):
And with fifteen hundred products, we're not going to be
able to go through all that. But I mean, what
are some of the big products that you guys are
pushing that people love? Because fifteen hundred is a lot
of skews.

Speaker 4 (05:27):
Yeah, there's a lot I can tell you, you know, from
brands like notable brands like CBX, upcoming brands like Clarkey's
that's La Base as well, traditional Bear Labs, Dime who's
been on your show.

Speaker 2 (05:48):
We also carry you.

Speaker 4 (05:50):
Know, pretty much Rock Garden, all the every brand pretty
much that's top shelf and considered to be a brand
that everybody is looking for. Where you're you're going to
find it with us, you know, even brands that you
didn't know we're out there that are really affordable for
the blue collar person out there, you know that wants

(06:12):
to medicate, you know, gets get a good product, you know,
at a good price.

Speaker 2 (06:17):
We offer that as well, you know. But but yeah,
those are.

Speaker 4 (06:21):
Pretty much, you know, some of the brands that we
do carry, you know, in our store. I know, is
there any other ones that you can think of shut
off the top of your head, I.

Speaker 2 (06:31):
Mean so many?

Speaker 5 (06:32):
Yeah, like you said, you know, any any notable ones
that you can think of, will carry them, and also
like to support you know, up up and coming local
you know companies as well. So definitely a lot to
choose from.

Speaker 3 (06:48):
And with you guys, being in these different locations, like
you mentioned the valley and then we mentioned the other
physical locations and Vista and Santa Ana. Are you guys
doing anything in the communities as well with.

Speaker 2 (06:59):
People, Yeah, definitely.

Speaker 4 (07:02):
You know, we like to pay back to the community,
of course, you know, so during the holidays, you know,
there'll be a gift raffling, you know, we'll not raffling,
bring a gift, you know, for a discount, and then
we donate those those gifts, you know.

Speaker 3 (07:16):
To underprivileged communities whatever exactly.

Speaker 4 (07:19):
You know, during also provide big discounts for the community
during those times, you know, and discounts are always available
at all our shops. You just go on weed maps
and you'll be able to see that, you know. Even
as for a first time customer at any of our stores,
you're going to get a discount that's substantially bigger to

(07:42):
any other shop that is out there. And then as
a returning if you look on there as well, you
do get a nice, big, hefty discount too. So each
time you come in, you're going to be getting good
service and a discounted product.

Speaker 2 (07:56):
And it's amazing.

Speaker 3 (07:57):
I've never been to your Guys shop yet, and you
guys have one in Santa and I got to come
by and check you guys out.

Speaker 2 (08:02):
Definitely got to.

Speaker 3 (08:03):
That's so random because we've been by so many shops
and we've done so many helpings with you know, all
the openings and this and that. How long have you
guys been open here at these locations?

Speaker 5 (08:12):
We've been opened for like three years, i'd say, at
least in Sinos.

Speaker 3 (08:18):
Three it was in you said was the first one.

Speaker 5 (08:22):
Actually I believe this though, might have been the first one,
but relatively all around the same time, about three years,
i'd say we've been open for all three shops. And
we also have another one that's going to be opening
in Corona in about a month or so.

Speaker 3 (08:40):
Oh really, so a fourth storefront coming soon with Speedy
Wheedy and the delivery service. How long you guys been
doing that the same same same time, So about three
three years, you guys are pushing this delivery service and
this and about forty five to ninety minutes on the delivery.
Now are people only paying cash? Are you able to
order online? How's it all working?

Speaker 5 (09:00):
Cash or card? No prepay uh at at this time,
but we definitely do take a card as well. Debate credit,
so h we like to be I'd say, you know,
make it an easy occurrence, you know what I mean,

(09:22):
however you can pay, we can help you out. We
don't take like cash app or anything Venmo that, but
you know, debit credit tould.

Speaker 3 (09:30):
Be nice, right like okay, hey, I got my ADP whatever,
help with this one.

Speaker 5 (09:36):
But nowadays, you know, with Venmo and cash app, they
do have cards, so.

Speaker 3 (09:41):
You know, oh that's true, they do, so.

Speaker 5 (09:43):
They're definitely coming around to you know, the modern techniques
of payment.

Speaker 3 (09:49):
It's got to be scary though, having the delivery part, right,
I mean, because the delivery service is just face it,
it's out there, people are delivering cannabis. It's got to
be a little nerve wracking. I mean, it's not like
you have the delivery car that's say as a speedy
weedy but I.

Speaker 2 (10:02):
Mean, well, they have their SOPs each drivers.

Speaker 4 (10:05):
You know, the drivers have their SOPs, their standard operating
procedures that they have to go by when they're making deliveries,
such as you know, they're not allowed to exit the vehicle.
They carry a certain amount of change on them and
you know, not getting out of the vehicle is a
big thing because obviously carrying cannabis on you your you know,

(10:26):
especially here in LA with all the robberies, you know,
you want to be mindful and not get out of.

Speaker 2 (10:30):
Your car in the case of anything.

Speaker 4 (10:33):
You you know, you're able to close your you know,
lock your door, roll your window up and get out
of there.

Speaker 2 (10:39):
You know, call call the authorities.

Speaker 3 (10:41):
Do you guys have to deal with that a lot?
I mean, is it anything crazy? Because I would imagine
what the delivery service you can get kind of Nicie's
it's happened.

Speaker 5 (10:50):
I won't say it hasn't, but you know, uh, we're
you know, have all our license and permits and what
have you. Our drivers do carry are license on them,
so you know, just go about the the steps that
would need to be taken as far as making you know.

Speaker 3 (11:09):
It would seem like we might even see delivery services
get to a point where they can be licensed to
carry a gun, because it's like, you know, it's it's
for your own safety, right, I mean, I mean, I
wouldn't mind having a hire if I own the company.
It'd be like, let me hire a delivery guy that
actually has a license to carry a gun as well,
because it's safer for everyone.

Speaker 2 (11:28):
I know.

Speaker 4 (11:29):
I know a couple of drivers do have non lethal protection,
you know, like a stun gun. Right, I know they
do sell spray something. Yeah, they do have that, they do,
they will have that. But you know there's other companies
now that even sell buy arms that are not lethal
that you can buy online. You know that shoot pepper
bolt or something like that.

Speaker 3 (11:46):
Right, pellic gun something that fucking BB gun should have been. Dude,
I mean you need something nowadays because I think about
that and like they're saying, Bostonpela gun exactly had a
pelic well something. Who knows.

Speaker 2 (11:57):
I mean some of that pump this up, reu.

Speaker 3 (12:00):
I need to get into ten before I get you,
before it hurts somebody. Hold on, back up a little bit, dude,
give me a space right here. We're here with Speedee
Weedy's Cannabis Talk one. We're going to talk more about
those products and where these cats come from. Shannon, I

they take cash and card. Follow them on Instagram at
Speedy Weedy. But Shannon, where do you come from before
you get this job as the general manager at this store? Like,
what's your background?

Speaker 5 (13:13):
I've been in the industry for quite some time. But
also uh uh the entertainment industry.

Speaker 3 (13:20):
What'd you do?

Speaker 4 (13:21):
Uh?

Speaker 5 (13:21):
Set buildings?

Speaker 1 (13:22):
Uh?

Speaker 5 (13:23):
I was a part are still am a part of
the International Alliance of Theatrical Stage Employees Local thirty three.

Speaker 3 (13:32):
Go ahead, their union work. I like that, go ahead now.

Speaker 5 (13:35):
Yeah, it's actually been awesome uh, you know, working both
you know industries. It's it's been great entertainment. Seen a
lot done, a lot of set building shows.

Speaker 3 (13:47):
Uh, like what some of the big ones. I want
to hear some good anything.

Speaker 5 (13:49):
We know, I've built a lot of you know, build
meaning like stage work, lighting, grip. I worked at CBS
on Young and the Restless, worked on both in The Beautiful,
the Soap Operas NBC. Of a couple shows there, but

(14:15):
a lot more. I'd say concerts done, tons of concerts
and award shows I've you know, I would say the Oscars,
the Grammys. Wow, big ones, definitely.

Speaker 3 (14:32):
Oh so you know your way around a good set.
What do you think of our set? Rip it apart?
Is it okay?

Speaker 5 (14:38):
It's great. I love the video walls know all too
well how to put those together.

Speaker 3 (14:43):
Those are a pain in the ass, aren't they.

Speaker 5 (14:46):
They can be, But for the most part, they come
together like a puzzle piece if you've.

Speaker 3 (14:51):
Done it right right, And like us, we just had
to learn how to figure it out. And we're sitting
there calling people, Hey, we need to call somebody else,
and one of them's off. It's like the sideway. It's
oh my god, I was here when they were trying
to do it and I was watching going and you
get too many chiefs and not enough people trying to
do it. I'm like, and I'm the guy that's going, Hey,
what about those? What about I mean, let me walk away,

(15:12):
let me walk away from this. It's like, Okay, we're
trying to build this. We're trying to build that. It's
a tough gig sometimes though, Oh.

Speaker 5 (15:17):
It definitely is. It's a lot of work, but the
reward is definitely seeing you know, the finished product and
that show, you know, going on with all those fans
and just loving.

Speaker 3 (15:29):
Oh yeah, there's nothing like doing it. We've done conscious,
We do all kinds of stuff here at CT one
on one as well. If there's nothing better than the feeling.
What led you to go to cannabis?

Speaker 2 (15:38):
Uh?

Speaker 5 (15:38):
Well, I mean I've I've used cannabis for I would
say I started around fifteen fourteen, fifteen years old high.

Speaker 3 (15:47):
School, you know, and you're from the valley, right, I'm
assuming just because you're working at.

Speaker 5 (15:52):
Ye, yes, but yeah, slowly got into you know. I
it was a very ben official for me consuming you know,
health wise, had some issues in the past that it
really helped. So that's where you know, I really gained
a passion for it. And then you know, being able

(16:14):
to actually work in a dispensary or a shop that
I can help others, that's what really drew me in.

Speaker 3 (16:22):
That's the key part right there. I was just talking
to somebody earlier about that, going you have to explain,
explain your story more to people, because when you could
help others with your elements, can I pry and ask, like,
what were some of the things that you were using
cannabis for? Uh?

Speaker 5 (16:34):
It? I had like cis uh like uh yeah, relief, yeah,
the pain relief for nausea, sleep to kind of counteract uh,
you know, medication that I was given and you know,
from the doctors, but I pretty much with cannabis, uh,

(16:57):
kind of took myself off of those you know, you know,
and that really helped me because after so long of
taking a medication like that that starts the way I'm used.

Speaker 3 (17:08):
Totally starts ruining your whole inside of your.

Speaker 5 (17:10):
Body exactly so, and you don't even know it.

Speaker 3 (17:12):
Or see it, and not before you know, you're going
back to the doctor's again, going, I don't know, I'm
just going through some shit and I haven't shit in
three four weeks whatever. But it's like so true and
it's like so crazy that some people don't even realize
that cannabis can be an alternative for that. Like still
to this day, as much as you are sitting there
learning from that, there's still so many people that have

(17:33):
no clue of it.

Speaker 5 (17:33):
Still right right and definitely, you know, being able to
help other people, it's been great for me because I
know it works, you know, so seeing people coming in
with different you know, illnesses and it working for different things.
You know, It's it's been awesome, you know, being in
the industry and helping people.

Speaker 3 (17:55):
It is. I love that. Shannon, What about you, bosson
Where do you come from? How do you get in
the game? Where? What is your story? Are you born
and raised in the valley as well? Yeah?

Speaker 4 (18:02):
Man born well born in Hollywood. Okay, my mom's proving Italian.
My dad my dad he was from Chile French descent, WLA,
you know exactly, grew up.

Speaker 2 (18:14):
In the valley my whole life. I'm an eight one
eight guy.

Speaker 4 (18:17):
Nice and you know, cannabis I think has always been
a substantial thing in the valley. I know a lot
of amazing strands that came out.

Speaker 2 (18:27):
Of the valley.

Speaker 4 (18:28):
Yeah s fog of course, pre ninety pre ninety eight
oh G or pre ninety four o G.

Speaker 2 (18:35):
And then to Penga Canyon.

Speaker 3 (18:37):
Yeah, I mean they have tons of grows all over.
But and mean by the airport, the Burbank Airport, I
mean that North Hollywood area. There's tons of little clpot
We didn't know this warehouse and what.

Speaker 4 (18:47):
Yeah, so I started, you know, smoking weed. I was
fifteen years old when I when I first experimented with it,
and uh, you know this is back in the nineties,
a lot different, you know, like pop culture still existed,
you know. So it was like that skate scene that
I was in. I was a skater and uh yeah,

(19:08):
and then I loved I loved it. I loved cannabis. Man,
it was. It was an amazing thing and started, you know,
here I am, so now I'm in the in the industry.
What were you doing before the industry, Before the industry,
before cannabis, I did. I did a lot of things, Joe,
I was. Uh, I've done acting. I'm an actor.

Speaker 3 (19:31):
Anything that we've seen you in, uh maybe Uh.

Speaker 4 (19:36):
I was in this movie called Bite the Bullet, it's
a western. I played uh, bounty hunter Sanensa, okay.

Speaker 2 (19:43):
Yeah.

Speaker 4 (19:43):
And then I did a couple of shows on CNN
where you know, nothing big, you know, it's just like
on an airplane, and played one of the the passengers
during hijack.

Speaker 2 (19:59):
You know.

Speaker 3 (19:59):
So, but look at you both entertainers over here.

Speaker 2 (20:02):
Yeah.

Speaker 4 (20:02):
And I was a thespian obviously in high school. I
got into acting on accident because I had to take
acting class theater and I found out that I was.
I guess I was okay at it and did that
and did some acting I've done. I was a worked
in the kitchen, worked in the restaurant industry, and I've done.

Speaker 2 (20:23):
But my back my big thing is sales. You know.

Speaker 4 (20:26):
I've done sales since I was seventeen years old. Started
in telemarketing and excelled in sales. I was one of
the first people to sell blackberries when those came.

Speaker 3 (20:38):
On my BlackBerry.

Speaker 2 (20:39):
Remember the BlackBerry Crackberry?

Speaker 3 (20:42):
Dude? Did you watch that movie? By the chance?

Speaker 2 (20:44):
But I saw the trailer for it.

Speaker 3 (20:46):
Dude, I watched it randomly. I was like, you know what,
I want to watch this story. How the rise and
fall of that was?

Speaker 2 (20:52):
Oh my god, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, that's how it started.

Speaker 3 (20:56):
I was a crack baby until I got my iPhone
and I was like I had it was part of
that movie, like going Dude. I remember this came out
and it was a big, big thing.

Speaker 2 (21:04):
I remember.

Speaker 4 (21:05):
I remember having having to go to court in Beverly
Hills for a ticket and being in the elevator going
up to take care of my ticket, and I had
my BlackBerry out, you know, and I wasn't a suit
because I had to go to work right after. Man,
Ladies like, oh, that's interesting. You have one of those blueberries.

Speaker 2 (21:24):
Huh.

Speaker 4 (21:25):
And I said, oh, you mean the BlackBerry and she's like, no, no, no, no,
the blueberry. I said, no, this is a BlackBerry. She's like, oh, well,
I'm actually interested in getting those for my firm. So
I remember I was like, oh, man, I got an idea.
I was like, wow, okay, so I got an information.
I remember I sold the blackberries to her firm, and
then I was like, man, maybe I should go.

Speaker 2 (21:45):
Back to court, go up and down the elevators. People
would be like, you know, hey.

Speaker 3 (21:52):
So while as you say that, the funniest part in
the movie they had they one of the guys told
the sales guys to start going to round places and
using it like that and flaunting and acting like you're
doing business and doing whatever. Part of the movie, there's
a scene where all the salesmen are we going to
try something. Nope, I want you guys to just go
go where. Go to a country club, go to go

(22:13):
to all these places where people.

Speaker 2 (22:16):
Might want it. Yeah, people with money that want it, yeah.

Speaker 3 (22:19):
And stuff like that. So it's funny you say that, dude,
because there's a scene in the movie that shows people
do that. How it grew.

Speaker 4 (22:25):
It's true because I would use it everywhere that I went,
and people would be like, oh, what is that you know?
And I would tell I'm just sending an email with
your with that, Yeah, it's my It's a BlackBerry. It's
like a phone. You can email people and you can
get emails and check your data.

Speaker 3 (22:42):
Dude. When those came out, we were so pumped. I
was We're gonna power one oh six at the time,
and I'm like, oh my goodness, this is the best
thing ever all of us got. And we're like because
we all had the Skyway two way pagers, the big one.

Speaker 2 (22:54):
I was selling those before with the.

Speaker 4 (22:55):
Foot Those were great to give them a message, right yeah.

Speaker 3 (23:00):
And then before that was the good Old Page or
the BBBBB, and then the Skyway, and then the BlackBerry
came out where you're like, oh, I'm doing something, and
then iPhone just crushed it.

Speaker 4 (23:08):
And yeah, they killed it. I mean they're killing the
game an Android, I guess, but you know.

Speaker 3 (23:13):
I mean, yeah, there's all kinds of other good phones
two different.

Speaker 2 (23:15):
People, I think Android and iPhone people right.

Speaker 3 (23:17):
Well, and I'm liking that Google phone too. I've been
seeing people use it. My brother has when he uses it,
and I'm like, dude, it seems like a good phone.
I mean it's Google. Yeah. I think it is called
the Pixel.

Speaker 2 (23:28):
Yeah.

Speaker 3 (23:28):
Yeah, it seems like something that I want to fuck
with more often. I'm like, let me play with this phone.

Speaker 2 (23:32):
I'm gonna have to check that one out.

Speaker 3 (23:33):
Yeah, but I'm still so suck on my iPhone. I'd
be my computer and my phone. This my that it
doesn't have Google Play in your card as Apple play.

Speaker 2 (23:41):
Yeah exactly, you know what I mean exactly.

Speaker 4 (23:42):
And I was an Android guy for a while in
this industry, and I remember, you know, i'd be going
to meetings and everybody. Okay, well, let me airdrop you this.

Speaker 3 (23:52):
You can't do that to me.

Speaker 2 (23:54):

Green texts as well, like oh yeah, people, we'll kick
people out of a group.

Speaker 3 (24:12):

figure out who had the android? So who's on the
android in this team? We figured out we kicked him out. Actually,
it was what's the Day from the Valley too?

Speaker 2 (24:23):
Too?

Speaker 3 (24:24):
Oh? What was his name? No? No, did that work
at the dispensary? Mexican dude? Manny? It was Manny. Yeah,
Manny had the android.

Speaker 2 (24:35):
It was like, so painted an iPhone?

Speaker 3 (24:38):
Not yet, I don't think he's still not on the
group text. We kicked him off the we we started
a new one.

Speaker 6 (24:43):
We're like, let's kick him off that. And he's still
on the other group text. And if Manny ever wants
to answer to that one. We had like two of
them now, one for Manny and one for not Manny.
But hey, Manny, if you're listening to Still loveybody to do?

I want to get my weed, speedy, speedy weedy, baby,
let's GeTe get.

Speaker 2 (30:36):
My rolls right out, speedy weedy.

Speaker 3 (30:39):
Yeah it does. It's just a simple flow. Where did
the name come from.

Speaker 4 (30:43):
I think the owner was sitting one night getting really
stoned and wanted to get more weed and said, damn
be nice to get my weed fast, like speedy weedy.
And I think that's how he's stuck with it, and
he ran.

Speaker 3 (30:59):
With it, and then from now that's and that's the
name of the storefronts and everything. Speedy weed, beady weedy,
come in, get out quick like a like a squirrel.

Speaker 2 (31:08):
Right yep, boom boom.

Speaker 3 (31:10):
Boom, get your nut and get going. Well yeah, you know, yeah,
it doesn't hurt bottom line, you know what I mean? Hey,
whenever you want to look at it, I was talking
the other way. You know what I was thinking too.

Speaker 2 (31:23):
You know, we like to.

Speaker 3 (31:25):
Do the high five with everybody that comes in here.
We got the folks from Speedy Weedy over here. Shannon,
you'll go first. I'm gonna ask a question, and then
Alex you'll go next, same simple question. And I think
we already heard it because you guys mentioned this earlier.
But how old were you the first time you smoked weed?
But where'd you get it from?

Speaker 5 (31:40):
I would say fourteen fifteen U in high school, literally
on campus. Was not a good idea. Let me tell
you got it from you know, one of my friends
and decided to try it during school. And let me
tell you it wasn't a good time.

Speaker 4 (32:00):
Uh.

Speaker 5 (32:00):
But you know, once I believe it was because of
you know, the environment that I was in, something new,
something I'm not supposed to be doing, you know, during
that time. But thereafter, you know, it's especially you know,
with those medical issues I had mentioned, it's been great.
You know, once you're I think it's when you're in
that calm space you try something, you have an actual

(32:24):
chance to like enjoy it? You know. So when I
first tried it, not a good time. But it's been.

Speaker 3 (32:30):
Who gave it to you?

Speaker 2 (32:33):
I mean like names, yeah, shut him out.

Speaker 3 (32:35):
Who's the one who got you tuned on to this?

Speaker 5 (32:39):
I think it If I remember correctly, it was my
friend Josh. I won't say the last Thingshh, you know
the local or the high school supplier at the time.

Speaker 3 (32:53):
Hey, that's where you got to do it right, Try
the first hits it for free from me and then
see if you like this, that's great. What about you relex?

Speaker 2 (33:01):
Uh? Wow?

Speaker 4 (33:02):
So I get the first time I actually got stoned,
first time I smoke weed. It was at Tarzana Park
with my buddy Mark mark A. I'll give his initial
for his last you know who you are, bro, and
uh we got stoned. And I remember when I got high,
I started like I was really being into wrestling and I.

Speaker 2 (33:26):
Was a wrestler.

Speaker 3 (33:26):
I started shirt pull out the whole mania Like that happened?

Speaker 2 (33:32):
Brother, You're not supposed to do this when you're stone
BOSSI like, what's wrong? I'm like, I was like, I
love it.

Speaker 3 (33:41):
Ever start pounding on your chest.

Speaker 2 (33:44):
I might have ripped my shirt? Did you?

Speaker 3 (33:46):
I think I did, oh classic.

Speaker 2 (33:49):
Yeah, that was the first time, and they're like wow.

Speaker 4 (33:52):
But after that, like I think I really started really
uh feeling what it's supposed to do. And I remember
the second time that next day actually we went to
Balboa Park a different point.

Speaker 2 (34:03):
M hm. Yeah, I got stoned and I was like
really chilling. He's like, man, you got you gotta come
with the water fountain.

Speaker 5 (34:10):
Bro.

Speaker 2 (34:11):
I said what He's like, Dude, water is so different
when you're high, Bro, trust me, and I go to
the water found with him.

Speaker 4 (34:20):
I was like, at that waterfounl for like five ten
minutes is drinking water like a fish. And I was like, wow,
this is so good as the best water I ever
had in my life. So yeah, yeah that was that
was uh. I guess that was like the real the
first time I really got stoned.

Speaker 3 (34:36):
Right the second time kicked in nice and yeah relaxed.
You made you. Oh this is wonderful. Yeah.

Speaker 2 (34:41):
I was like, oh this is it.

Speaker 3 (34:42):
I like this nice. Question number three of the high five,
where's the craziest place you ever used or smoked cannabis?

Speaker 5 (34:49):
Probably high school?

Speaker 3 (34:50):
Yeah, I was thinking that when you're like on the
campus right there, being young and crazy going. Oh no,
I could only get expelled. Yeah, trying to My parents
would be real happy with this, right, trying.

Speaker 5 (34:59):
To act normal, but definitely was not acting normal.

Speaker 3 (35:02):
Oh yeah, what's wrong? Nothing? What are you looking at? Nothing?

Speaker 2 (35:05):
Right?

Speaker 3 (35:06):
Why don't look at his neck? Don't look at his neck?
What about you? Bossy?

Speaker 2 (35:13):
Remember that?

Speaker 3 (35:14):
He?

Speaker 5 (35:14):
Oh my god?

Speaker 3 (35:16):
Classic? Right?

Speaker 2 (35:19):
Oh man? Uh, craziest place that I smoke. I mean,
as a kid in my house. Really, that is crazy.

Speaker 3 (35:27):
You know your parents were, God, yeah, no they At.

Speaker 4 (35:35):
One time, my buddy, my buddy Lucien comes over, He's
like a smoking joint.

Speaker 3 (35:39):
Man.

Speaker 2 (35:40):
I was like, all right, cool Roland. He's like, it's outside.
I was like, we're smoking in my room.

Speaker 1 (35:45):
Bro.

Speaker 2 (35:46):
He's like, yeah, but what if your dad comes home.
He's like, he's not coming home.

Speaker 4 (35:48):
Man, got this. My mom's gone, he's not coming home.
He's at work. Well, I'm smoking a joint. We finished
the joint, my dad comes home.

Speaker 3 (35:55):
And yeah it was bad. Oh it was bad.

Speaker 2 (35:58):
But mind you.

Speaker 4 (35:59):
The other two time when I was smoking, I had
an arrow, remember that, you know the zero head bottles.
We converted one into a bong and we called it
the Cadillac.

Speaker 3 (36:07):
Nice.

Speaker 2 (36:07):
Yeah, and I hit it in my in my in
my closet in my room, and I would cover it
with like all.

Speaker 3 (36:11):
My clothes whatever.

Speaker 4 (36:12):
Yeah, yeah, like the dirty clothes, and uh yeah. I
would bust that thing out and we would get high
off that. I used the stem out of It's called
a bombijia. It's what you smoke or drink, mate, you know,
like that Argentina. South America has like a little filter
on the straw, So I was just perfect.

Speaker 2 (36:32):
I used that.

Speaker 4 (36:33):
I used the top of a salt and pepper shaker
because it had holes. Yeah, and then aluminum foil, you know.

Speaker 3 (36:41):
And it was you created your own little master bond.

Speaker 2 (36:44):
Yeah, man, power hitter, power smacker.

Speaker 3 (36:48):
Oh that's great.

Speaker 2 (36:48):
I could. That was crazy.

Speaker 3 (36:50):
That was a crazy crazy because you you got a
lashing that you fucking will never forget.

Speaker 2 (36:54):
Yeah.

Speaker 4 (36:55):
Man, yeah, it was my dad at that time. When
I smoked the joint, my dad came home. I remember
Lucian looking at me and disbelief.

Speaker 2 (37:02):
Like you mother, damn dude, I told you. I was like, yeah,
I know, man, let's let's go now. So I left.
I went to his house.

Speaker 3 (37:13):
Yeah, and then he came home and I go, Okay, I.

Speaker 2 (37:16):
Talk with my dad, you know, and all that.

Speaker 3 (37:18):
Oh that's always That's a very very crazy place right there.
Question number was that number two? Question number three? What
is your favorite way to use cannabis?

Speaker 5 (37:30):
For me, it's definitely the classic, like pipe or or joint,
you know. I like the concentrates, but I just for me,
it's just the classic flower, you.

Speaker 3 (37:42):
Know, nice little bowl glass one, yeah.

Speaker 5 (37:45):
Or a nice little joint if I'm on the road,
nice yeah. Cartridges are convenient when you're out, But my favorite,
i'd say, is flower, just.

Speaker 3 (37:55):
Straight flower, nice bossy, what about you?

Speaker 2 (37:59):
Man? And I'll smoke it anyway I can't.

Speaker 4 (38:01):
I'll stuff a nugg in my nose and like that
thing on fire like I saw on Instagram a couple
of days ago.

Speaker 3 (38:07):
We have what Janey or Christine does that through her
nose all day. I haven't done that. She used the pan.

Speaker 2 (38:13):
Oh, I've done that. I've done dabs to the nose.
But I'm talking about stuffing a nug and.

Speaker 3 (38:17):
Oh my god, your mustache.

Speaker 2 (38:20):
Oh yeah, it's exotic.

Speaker 3 (38:23):
You're like, I'm gonna try it once.

Speaker 4 (38:25):
I will one day, I'm sure. But I love smoking
that out of my bong. I have a two footer.
I love dabbing you name it.

Speaker 2 (38:32):
No, it's just.

Speaker 3 (38:35):
Two foot boll is a good size bong though.

Speaker 2 (38:37):
Yeah.

Speaker 4 (38:37):
I've always like I dubbed myself that I have iron lungs.
So you know I take rippers a.

Speaker 3 (38:44):
Big two foot Yeah. I get that thing going and
snap that thing.

Speaker 4 (38:49):
Yeah, and I have so I have to do three
bowls because if I don't do three bowls, I'm like, no,
it's not right.

Speaker 2 (38:55):
I gotta do three and my bowls are not snappers.
Oh salad bulls.

Speaker 3 (39:01):
Wow. So you're a smoker smoke a smoke or smoker man?

Speaker 5 (39:04):
Wow?

Speaker 3 (39:05):
Boss ye I like that question him before the high five?
What's your go too much after you get high?

Speaker 5 (39:12):
Definitely? I mean there's the classic chips. But if I'm
gonna have a meal pasta of my pasta, I'm Maltese
Irish and I grew up Maltese. I'm not sure if
you know what that is.

Speaker 2 (39:26):
Everybody like the.

Speaker 3 (39:27):
Dog I seen you're looking at Teddy. Kind of funny, but.

Speaker 5 (39:34):
So mal A competition exactly. So Malta is actually an
island just below Sicily. It's very similar culture, Uh, the
language is different. It's a combination of Arabic French Italian
in its own dialect, but the culture is very similar

(39:55):
to Italian. You know, the pasta, the family, the you
know that vibe, that culture.

Speaker 3 (40:03):
So definitely red sauce, white sauce, what is it?

Speaker 2 (40:08):
I like?

Speaker 5 (40:08):
I like it all, but definitely love a really nice
meat sauce. Meat sauce is amazing. Nanos meatballs don't talk
about it.

Speaker 3 (40:17):
Brings them by ship, come on to please do. I'm
be like, what are those meatballs at right down the
street from me?

Speaker 2 (40:23):
You told me?

Speaker 3 (40:25):
Okay, let's go. I got to make a trip down
to Encino. What about you, bossy? What's your go to?

Speaker 2 (40:30):
Mike?

Speaker 4 (40:31):
I mean obviously, Uh well, I love sweets, so I'm
like a candy guy. I like to eat like candy.

Speaker 3 (40:37):
But if what is your candy, what's what's? What is it?

Speaker 2 (40:39):
Though?

Speaker 4 (40:42):
Oh man, dude, I really love I really love like
a like a white coconut milk chocolate.

Speaker 2 (40:51):
I love those uh those what those lint linen lind
linds whatever they say them at the Costco. Those little
chocolate ball.

Speaker 3 (40:57):
Yeah yeah, yeah, yea yeah. I like those chocolate and
that I thought I thought of Chico sticks. So Chico sticks.
So you remember the old Yeah man, those man, those
days were.

Speaker 2 (41:07):
Yeah good, those were bomb. Yeah. I love those from
from the ice cream truck.

Speaker 3 (41:12):
Anywhere you can find me a Chico stick boy, hook
me up. I see them. I always gotta grab like
two or three, Oh Chico.

Speaker 4 (41:20):
But I mean as far as I guess, like if
I'm out to sit down and have a meal, like
I want to eat something.

Speaker 2 (41:26):
I really really loved Peruvian.

Speaker 4 (41:28):
Food, peroving food, like a good Lomo, which is you know,
the the steak with the French fries and the tomato
green sauce.

Speaker 3 (41:37):
On it too.

Speaker 2 (41:38):
That's the heat better than that you put on top
of it, you know, Yeah, and then the rice on
the side.

Speaker 3 (41:43):
When I lived down in the valley, actually hit the
a couple of Proving spots out there, just oh bomb food, spicy, delicious.
I went in Pasadena, I went to too before. I
love it.

Speaker 4 (41:52):
Yeah, yeah, I mean really it's hard to go to
a proving restaurant and have bad food. I mean, I
think in the astronomical world, the food world, they're like
in the top.

Speaker 3 (42:03):
You know, it's delicious. It's just different flavor. It's just wonderful.
Though it's a world of mixes and yeah, it's it's
it's a very I love it. Matter of fact, you're
making me both. Now I'm getting hungry. I want pasta
and right now, and I think that they do that
green pasta, that pasta like that but in style. So
they have it's like a side dish that comes with
the meat.

Speaker 2 (42:22):
Yes, but they have so you can get.

Speaker 4 (42:25):
Right which is the tomatoes and the meat and all that,
but instead of rice, you can get pasta with one guya.

Speaker 2 (42:32):
Sauce, which is.

Speaker 4 (42:34):
It's like an appetizer and it comes with like a
cheesy yellow sauce that you put that it's on top
of the the steamed potatoes.

Speaker 2 (42:43):
But what they'll do is they use that sauce with
the the pasta.

Speaker 3 (42:48):
You know. So it's you guys are really you know what.
It's lunchtime when I'm hungry. So you guys did it
to me. I'm ready to go get some deep. Question
number five of the high five. If you can smoke
cannabis with anyone dead or a lot, who would it be?

Speaker 1 (43:01):
And why?

Speaker 5 (43:02):
Who? Ah, that's a good one. I would definitely say,
on a more personal.

Speaker 3 (43:12):
Level, my grandfather and why Grandpa.

Speaker 5 (43:18):
He went? He went through a lot, you know, coming
to America from Malta, but he initially came to America
to be a priest. Somewhere down the line, went back
to Malta, met my grandma and I don't know how

(43:39):
you know, that changed his mind, but I think it
was actually because what really influenced his changing his mind
was the war, so that really kind of set him
in a different direction. But just everything that he's seen
and when during the war he was brought into the

(44:03):
Royal Army, I think it was for the Royal some
type of military. But he built parts and pretty much
he was in anything that they had asked him to make,
he can make it. Knew how to work with machines,
built machines, built aircraft parts. Now all my uncles are

(44:26):
in the that industry. So definitely, just his journey through life,
you know, and and his side of the family goes
back to Sicily, so definitely, you know, his journey through
life seemed like a really eventful and interesting one.

Speaker 3 (44:44):
So these old school folks like that though, they did,
especially when you come in from another country like that. Yeah,
you just want to hear about that journey in the
story and just imagining what they went through, you know
what I mean, like, Okay, you came in on a boat?
How who?

Speaker 5 (44:55):
What?

Speaker 3 (44:56):
When? Where'd you go? How did you eat? How did
you live?

Speaker 2 (44:58):
Yeah?

Speaker 3 (44:59):
Like it's crazy to think. I love when I hear
things like that, what about you, bossy?

Speaker 4 (45:05):
I would really want to get stone with Bob Lazar.
Who's Bob Blazar Shannon though. Bob Blazaar is a guy
that worked at Area fifty one.

Speaker 3 (45:18):
Oh, the club in New York.

Speaker 4 (45:22):
Okay, Yeah, so Bob Lazarre was a guy who was
part allegedly right, this is all alleged, right because.

Speaker 3 (45:32):
The secret documents?

Speaker 2 (45:34):
Yeah, right, So he he was.

Speaker 4 (45:36):
Part of the team that reverse engineered UAPs that were
recovered by the government. And you know, when I hear
his interviews and he talks about it, it's so interesting
and I'm like, you know, everything going on right now
with all that stuff. I would love to smoke with
him and just pick his brain and you know what,

(45:56):
what's the truth?

Speaker 2 (45:57):
Man? What happened? What is this? What is Do you
believe it? Do you think there's a thousand percent?

Speaker 3 (46:04):
I do?

Speaker 2 (46:04):
I really do. I've had I've had experiences.

Speaker 4 (46:09):
Oh really, yeah, like like a thousand percent I've had
experiences and the experiences that I've had when I've read
about them afterwards. One experience that I had and I
read about that it was the same thing that I experienced,
and I've never told anybody like about it because when
I talk about it, people think I'm crazy. And then

(46:30):
the people the person that was with me, my ex wife,
she's like that that didn't really come on, and I'm like, no,
you were there. She's like, well, I'm not gonna I'm
not gonna agree all for you. Yeah, I'm like, okay, cool,
I'm the crazy guy. But I read about it and
somebody else experienced what I experienced, so you know, it's
I do believe that there's something you.

Speaker 3 (46:51):
Know, ID two. I mean, there's just been too many
encounters that makes it like and then like you said,
for you have that experience, read somebody else had the
same exact experience.

Speaker 2 (47:02):
Yep.

Speaker 3 (47:02):
I mean it's not a far fan, No.

Speaker 1 (47:04):
It's not.

Speaker 4 (47:04):
And it's like, honestly, I can count on one hand
how many people I've told my story that I experienced,
which I can share with.

Speaker 2 (47:12):
You if you want.

Speaker 3 (47:12):
I'd love to hear it.

Speaker 4 (47:13):
You want to hear it, Yes, okay, so I'll make
I'll make it quick, all right, but this is very detailed.
At the same time, my son was about a year old.
I'm sitting in our home in Chatsworth. Okay, now, if
you can figure a five by five room with one
side on my right, there was sliding glass doors to

(47:36):
a patio and my TV in front of me. I'm
watching TV. My son falls asleep. His mother, my wife
at the time, had come home, so she walks in.
She's in the kitchen doing her thing. All of a sudden,
the power went out. Okay, it all was dark, pitch dark. Initially,
if your power goes out, yeah, you're like, oh man.

(47:58):
But I felt something was wrong. My instinct was like,
this is weird. Something feels wrong. And while I'm talking
to her about a light shines through the patio and
it was so damn bright that I can see her
and everything inside the home, like a big flashlight was being.

Speaker 2 (48:16):
Shunn through my patio. Right.

Speaker 4 (48:19):
I get up, I'm like, and I grabbed my son,
I put hold them. I get up and I go
to the patio. She walks up next to me, and
as I'm at the patio, the lights go off again
and then all of a sudden, there's like a light
shining through, but it was like blue, and it would
stop and I would hear a hum like and then

(48:40):
it would be another color, like a reddish something, and
it would light up and then it would stop. And
it probably did it like four or five times, and
it stopped, and then there was like a big bright light.
I remember that it was so bright that I can
see from our second story across the street all the

(49:00):
industrial buildings in.

Speaker 2 (49:02):
Chatsworth, Like it was bright.

Speaker 4 (49:05):
And I know that if there's a like a power
goes down, there's a transformer explodes, it's usually it's one
quick flash and that's it. Right, This was a bunch
of colors. Then when I talked to my boy Jody,
who lived down the hallway, He's like, man, I saw
and heard something.

Speaker 2 (49:22):
I wasn't looking out the window.

Speaker 4 (49:23):
Man.

Speaker 2 (49:24):
I went to my room and closed the door. So
I'm like, Okay, well you saw something.

Speaker 4 (49:29):
He's like, man, I don't know, man, And but I'm like,
you did though, right He's like yeah, but I'm not
talking about it. And I know, like close to Chatsworth,
you know, there's the Edwards I think is not too
far from there one of the Air Force bases, right
And as I did research about it, you know, looking online,
obviously I couldn't find anything, but I found similar stories

(49:50):
to it. And a month ago I'm looking on stories
about UAPs, and this guy talks about the same thing
that I said to you right now, Joe, the same
exact way that light was coming through and whenever the
light stopped, he heard a humming and then when it stopped,
there was a big white light and went away. And

(50:12):
you know, I've I've seen UAPs. I have videos of
them on my phone like that I've recorded, and uh yeah,
Like I believe in this stuff, and I know that
there there's something out there. Man, there's got to be
Look at this galaxy.

Speaker 3 (50:28):
It's too big. It's too big and crazy to think
can it be? Or maybe not? Who could have ever
thought we could FaceTime somebody? Who could ever thought we're
watching a movie TV on our phones, let alone calling
somebody from a mobile phone. It's just there's too much.

Speaker 2 (50:44):
Yeah, the timeline of technologies advancement is too small for
it to bounce the way it did.

Speaker 4 (50:51):
Like, come on, man, we were watching TVs where we
had to bang on the side to get a clear.

Speaker 2 (50:57):
Image of it. To a few years later, we have
these TVs where it looks like we can jump right
through it.

Speaker 3 (51:03):
And they're this thing.

Speaker 4 (51:05):
Yeah, man, crazy, I mean we can look at the
best image on our phones if we literally, you know, just.

Speaker 3 (51:12):
The whole virtual Oh those new goggles to glasses. I
Apple's coming out with that's crazy just walking around doing everything.

Speaker 2 (51:20):
It's like four thousand dollars. I know, right, that's a
hefty one.

Speaker 3 (51:24):
You see somebody throw you like you show off. I
just got wasting money.

Speaker 2 (51:28):
I'm announcing it at Apple.

Speaker 4 (51:29):
And as soon as they showed the price the video,
everybody goes like, literally the little whole place was.

Speaker 3 (51:36):
Like, that's a hefty gift there, that's a big one.

Speaker 2 (51:41):
We know what.

Speaker 3 (51:41):
I think you're right, boss, you I think it could be.
I mean I'm not I'm not the guy that sit
there and go no, it can't be the case. There's
no way in hell.

Speaker 4 (51:49):
And I'm not crazy, man. And I'm telling you this
story that really did happen to me. Man, it really
did happen.

Speaker 3 (51:55):
I believe you might have been stoned. Maybe I mushroom.

Speaker 2 (51:58):
I wasn't. I was taking care of my one year
old boy next to me.

Speaker 3 (52:02):
You're like, son, you remember seeing this.

Speaker 2 (52:04):
It's funny when I talk about He's like, he always
rolls his eyes.

Speaker 3 (52:08):
Oh here it goes about this story. Yeah, exactly.

Speaker 2 (52:15):
