Speaker 1 (00:11):
And it's Drinks motherfucking podcast. Mason, he's a legendary queen's rapper.
He's agree is your boy in O R E He's
a Miami hippop pioneer up his DJ e FN. Together
they drink it up with some of the biggest players,
I mean, in the most professional unprofessional podcast and you're
number one source for drunk drinks. Motherfucking is New Year's

(00:34):
e just like it's time for drink Chimps. Drink up,
motherfuck mother. Would a good be? Hopefully is what it
should be. This is your Boy and O R E
e FN is on vacation. I haven't used that word
in over ten years, vacation. But let's pick him up
wherever he's at. Before we get into two nice episodes,

(00:56):
I want to big up while wave uh you know,
uh a tremendous company out there. Big up my man,
Steve Ripkin. We wanted a sexy place uh to do this,
and you know they provided. It's a big them all.
But this is Drink Champs podcast, and right now I
have two of the most lyrical giants of the world,

(01:19):
the gorilla and the Lion of the jungle. These guys
go baf a ball. They finally linked up together and
made a whole project. It comes. It came out Black Friday.
If you didn't go get it, you don't know who
we're talking about right now. Right now, we're talking about
Jada Kiss and Mr f A. B. L. West makes
something Now now, now you know I'm peeping on Instagram.

(01:47):
Your brothers was on the promo. Run out here in
l A. You guys wants to change three different times today. No,
we gotta just young Vi. You know I think it's
got the stylus with y'all go somewhere. I said, these
things have changes. Outfit terry, bring vibe everywhere we go. Okay, well,

(02:08):
well I want to start it off right and celebrate
you fab. It goes your own bottle, even though you
got bottles at the crib. We gotta get it. Do
it right, you pop, that's all you. You know what
I'm saying. Kiss, We got you to you want your
bucket to kiss or you want to take this bucket.
It's a little sexy. Okay, looks right there. You know
what I'm saying. Wenna, you guys. I know y'all have
been working hard and all that, but I am your
pair we are of the same and I want to

(02:32):
salute and respect you brothers. You understand what I'm saying.
I heard you. I heard you had an argument about
the Vibe cover. Oh yeah, I was talking, Uh yeah,
the Niger. Yeah. We came to the conclusion that he
was like he was trying to hold back and he

(02:52):
was ha, you know what I mean. I ad he
admitted it. Yeah, he tried to smash or something when
you took out as a I don't know what it
was it was. I think it was a little Pillow
talk that you know, you know, that's when a lot
of the hat didn't be going on talk. That's when
theos hate goes on, you know, Pilow talking fat definitely.

(03:15):
So let's take up from the beginning fat right, because uh,
you guys, you didn't meet Clue that night that you rhymed.
I met Clue. I met Clue that night. I had
never met Clue before. Was crazy. The craziest part about
me and Clue is in that you remember it was
like mixed tastes and you've never seen what the DJ's

(03:37):
looked like. Well, from my standpoint, I had this picture
of Clue in my head that I thought he looked like,
you know what I mean. All the DJ's back then
was big and had these deep voices, so you know.
And then I met Clue and he was like a
smaller dude. I was like, oh, you know what I mean.
But I threw me off off the rip. Then he

(03:57):
came and was saying, I thought I was just me
and him, like you know, people had told me, told
him I was nice, and he wouldn't meet me in
but he came. I was like, Yo, we come back
from commercial. We're gonna wrong on it. We have a
freestyle on the air with with Nori and and Fabulous,
and I'm just like, oh ship. I just knew it

(04:18):
was an opportunity that I couldn't uh, I couldn't just
not put put my all into. I didn't know when
I was gonna get this opportunity again, you know what
I'm saying. So you know, I had no idea I
was gonna be there. I always in my in my
in my head, and when I play around with you,
I always say I smoked you that night. Definitely want

(04:41):
to rema no, But now that I don't think I
smoke you, per se anger your joy. I just knew
that I felt like I smoked the opportunity and you
definitely did. Let's make some noise for that. Goddamnit, Let's
make some noise for that. God damnit. Yes, yes you came.

(05:02):
You were hungry. Um. It was crazy because I remember
Clue pulling me to the side. So he was like, yo,
my man's sport. He didn't even call you fat, he said,
I think it was something like that. It was sport.
In fact, he didn't even call me fat. With us,
it was sport because he was like my hood nickname.
But he was like, y'all got my man sport. He said, Yo,
do you mind? And I was like nah, And like
for me to see like your career like blossom from that,

(05:24):
that's crazy concerned certain niggas in that position with them,
but like, nah, nah, let my little man like you
know what I'm saying, not saying that you would have
just trying to even if you were just trying to
put your man on, a lot of nigga would would
have said no, right, a lot of But that's that's
what I loot you for that. Man. I didn't even
know that. I didn't even know that it was a
question to you because I guess. But but I mean,

(05:47):
I guess the test was more for you. You You know
what I'm saying, because I guess you know, I was
quote on coote hot at the time, so scorching, Okay,
thank you fat. It makes me sure that I God
damn I make that. Yeah. So I guess he puts
you in the test to see if you were fold
and you came, and you came to the occasion man,
and for me to see you. What's that fifteen years later?

(06:09):
I was I wasn't. So that's nineteen years well since
that first day, since that day that was did you?
Did you? Guys? Both of you? And none of this
question goes for both of you? Guys. Um the other day,
well yesterday exactly, Kiss landed, I'm immalleible having lunch. I

(06:31):
go meet Kiss. That was a ball stunt right there.
I'm just getting to a full start, right So I'm
looking at me and Kiss is drunk, loud as hell
and Beverly Hill just for no reason, and I'm looking
I'm looking at our life, and I'm like, did you
ever think like that? This is nineteen years later, like

(06:54):
you're still here quote unquote because people use that word relevant,
so fucking roughly, and and for all three of us
to be quote unquote like what they say is relevant.
Did you think no? Because I never even at that
time I thought hip hop was a career. I don't
think my like the parents at that time, you know,
you tell your parents you're trying to be a rapper,
they would like what because it wasn't looked at as

(07:18):
a lengthy career where you could, you know, even step
out of other things and do other things based off
of your hip hop creer, you know what I'm saying.
So I would have never saw this even progressing that long.
It was about we loved it when we first did.
It wasn't even a career option. It was something you
love to do, Like I like the spit, I like,

(07:38):
you know, doing what I do. I love hip hop,
And that's what what it snim from. It wasn't never
stoked at us like I'm gonna look at this ship
like I'm gonna be a night ship twenty years, you
know what I mean. That wasn't even thought, which is crazy, No,
not at all. No, you just you love the passion
of it so much and you just want to be

(08:00):
in the mix and on and have a record deal.
You don't even think. You're just really thinking about back
then how they say supposed to think five years ahead
and all that, you're thinking like six months the little
goal was a record deal that was like, yeah, I
got I got full. He was like I had one

(08:21):
place the whole hood be like it's like and he
signed this, Like do you think do you think as
as people as all three of us, we've done great
in our career, right, we have success, we're still out
here doing it. Do you think we're chasing the money
or we're chasing the thrill? Because the other day this
is what I realized, right, like, when you drop an album,

(08:45):
besides the money, it's the thrill, isn't it, Because that's
what replaced hustling for us, right Remember if it wasn't
getting no royalty money really like unless you you know
you're selling ten million albums or something. So it really
was you know you're gonna get money, But it was
really a out putting that music out of people reacting
to it and streets saying it's crazy, and you know
what I mean, that's that's the thrill. That's when you

(09:08):
think drives us more. At this point after You've got
ten years in your career. You got twelve fifteen years
in your career. Is it? Is it the thrill? Because
you know, you know when you hustle, right after you
make you make a certain amount, it's still a fucking
it's a it's a it's a chance. Still still a
thrill of it every time you drop out. I was
watching you. You know, when you watch the Drug Dealer movie,

(09:30):
somebody actually like, why didn't get off the game? Right there?
He got enough money last time. It's still out there
because he just because it's now it's part of the
you know, this is what I do. You know what
I'm saying. So it's still a thrill to me. Money
can't be your only motivation or you do anything for money,
you know what I'm saying. People that don't have money,

(09:50):
they do anything for money. Once you got money, you
got to have a different motivation or you you ain't
never even gonna be the best at it, right Like
like like once I went platinum, I only went platform once.
Um I chased that, like like I chased it like
it was a high. Like I was like I wanted
to go platform a games and I never did. But

(10:12):
chasing I chased the shutout of that's like chasing that
you never got, you know, for the chase of it,
you did it, and you know, I'm just saying they're crazy.
That's what I thought. On the other day. I'm sitting
there and I'm like, the the closest thing I got
to that high is doing a podcast. In the podcast

(10:33):
crazy shit about it. It's like I dropped an album
every week, So you remember how long you used to
take to make an album because we came from the
two Ways rail days, so you couldn't put an album
together in three months. Like how these dudes due? These
dudes go on their grandma basement. And so I was
just thinking about that the other day. I was like,
the closest thing I got to that is dropping the
podcast and getting these million streams a week, and then

(10:55):
now I'm chasing that. Like no, I'm like, what I'm
saying to myself, it's what is it? Like, what is
is it? The thrill? The thrill? Right, because if you
placed it, because we all started from drug dealing, it
was that that was the first thrill, right, buck, Definitely,
you know what I'm saying, right, So what do you
think you more the thrill or I look like kids

(11:17):
about to say the money. Definitely five kids. The money,
it's a little bit of the thrill. It's it's fifty
fifty with me, because you remember back then, it was
more money. It was giving us. You told me that
story with ex You know what I mean. They can't
do that now. You gotta have a studio and in

(11:39):
your basement or something. Now that ain't giving them budgets.
They was giving us back then. Shout out to Steve Rifkin,
giving much the whole ship change now, so you know
what I mean, appreciated some time. Was there a time
in the game five where you know, if you just
said we've we've been doing it for like nineteen years
with like how many years of a game it but

(12:00):
when you kind of lost love for the game. I never,
truthfully me, I never lost love for that one, like
not even a little bit, just maneuvered anyway. I never
really lost I didn't like some of the politics in
the game, but I never lost my love for hip
hop and what how passionate I was about hip hop,
How something somebody plays something dope for me, and how

(12:23):
that makes you feel, how that motivate you. The one
that when people are successful, I want to be in
a successful circle too, So it always kept kept me,
you know. And I just love the music too, Like
I love when Nick somebody talking that ship, whether it's me,
whether it's whoever it is, when somebody's saying that ship
where they give you that vibe or like when your

(12:43):
ship came out and it gave you, it gave you
like a vibe where he felt like it was relatable,
but then it had that energy to it as well.
You know what I'm saying. I like different different artists
for different ship, you know what I'm saying. And that's
the ship that the love just keep me afloat, like
you know what I mean, the three of us, the
one thing the three of us have in common besides
us being for New York and being in l A.

(13:04):
But you're gonna address that later like that, that's just ill,
just us to being. But we always kind of messed
with like the new newer generation, like you'll always yeah,
you'll always see fab one the new dude joint working
with a boogie. You always see j the kiss jump
on or bring out a younger mate, and you always

(13:25):
see me like you know, just show love if it's
even if it's just giving a conversation when in fact,
in our day, we weren't really being embraced like that.
I didn't even give embraced like that, like I even
look at it. I was talking and how it was
like classes if y'all was the juniors and like big
and it was the seniors, And I came in on

(13:46):
a freshman tip the juniors and seen the seniors were
still fighting so much to be the man. They wasn't
looking out for the freshman like they do now. Like
you know what I'm saying, was trying to remember how
the dude just as soon as he got in the
he like you let him know, welcome to the NBA. Yeah,
I think I think it just wasn't It just was

(14:07):
that everybody was still so young and hungry and in
the game and proving theirselfs too to be able to
to to open the door, step a hand and somebody
it was a different love. Yeah, you know what I'm saying.
I remember a lot of artists like on I was coming.
There wasn't just saying. I I even tell the artists
today like they to take advantage of it, because you
know what I mean, Like the same way they like

(14:29):
even how I was joking how wold like you could
taking nigger just wasn't taking pictures with hold back in
the days like hold we this wasn't that wasn't his,
you know what I mean, he was on his whole ship.
And now it's more just open for because it's just
a different vibe now, you know what I'm saying, it's
a different vibe. So I think it's dope that that

(14:50):
when when the older artists or the O g s
or whatever look out for the younger artists coming and
show them love. And you know what I mean, a
lot of them be looking up to niggas too, and
when they meet you and then you want some funny ship,
you fuck up for you. But this vice as vice
versa two, because because it's hard to be the new
young hot dude and not feel like everybody's supposed to

(15:13):
kiss you. You know what I'm saying, Like that's that
that ego being there too. You need some niggas and
they be on their ship and you just gotta take
it with it. The dude used to be on your
post on your wall, but now they meet them and
they just they don't even want to say nothing to them.
They just want to be like because I get it.
I've been a man too. I've been a man a
couple of times where you know, I just felt like
that walking over there, like, and as I got older,

(15:36):
I embraced it more like you know what I'm saying,
But it takes time. Like right now, it's like pretty
much a hot topic. Joe Buttons, I'm not Joe Buttons,
Um Walker, Flocker and Pete Rock It's going at it
on on on social media. It's weird weird commodation right, so,

(15:58):
which is crazy. It's because I believe walk a flock
up uh did something and said he did something, and
people just defended it and now they're having this whole thing.
And the thing about it is this, I think that
we respected older classmen's prior to us and before us.
But even if we didn't respect them, we would never

(16:19):
make that known publicly. Do you think that is? That
was a lack of what's happening right now, a little
lack of respect. But it's also they got the platform
to just say whatever online in different places, like you
I thought she was going to say to Joe Budden ship.
I think I've seen somebody wearing fun Joe buttons. He
made that a he's a he's not he's getting he

(16:40):
made his own ship. I was like, yo, this this
that's had one of them. Yeah, they really hate him, Okay,
they like they look at him as like the old
hating nigger. Like I love it though, but we did
with that from the block too. It was he was
trying to get out on the block. It was an
old hate nigga. What's the disconnect? What what is it

(17:01):
like there there? Like, uh, there's older there's people like us.
I don't want call use older people, but we embrace that.
Why is the like it's like it feels like the
eighties because like Pete Rockets considered the eighties. Cannot get
me say that, So it's like it's really the eighties
or early nineties. Okay, so um, I feel like it's

(17:22):
that generation that kind of versus the younger people. They
just can't get along. Is it because the style of music,
It's a lot of things, and certainly is their personality
just like or they just ain't feeling what's going on
over there, or they don't feel like it comes from
they think, or maybe they don't feel like that error

(17:44):
pays homage to this. It's a lot of different reasons
that nigga might feel away. You know what I'm saying,
It ain't really crazy part on the block. I feel
like old niggas used to feel like that because they
figured like he was gonna cut into their money. But
in this and Wrap, that's two different lanes walk a
flocker and then Pete Rock Lane, and Pete Rock and
then Walker Flocking Lane, So they ain't taking no money

(18:06):
out of each other thing. It's maybe just a difference
in opinions or how they grew up all right now
now now I'm kissing you've you you are you paying
attention to like these guys going there, like the younger
generation and the yachties and the Joe Buttons. Excuse me,
a little oozy, No, no no one of them to stay

(18:26):
you know, one of the I'm sorry, man, Yeah, I
keep I check it out a little bit. I don't
dive all away in. How do you avoid like that?
Like how like nobody came at you like that? I
mean I think they know, Man, you touched the stove,
You're gonna find out it's hot. But for the most part,

(18:50):
I embrace all of them. You know what I mean,
They see me and it's a it's a mutual respect,
you know, as people respect each other. That shouldn't really
be if you're funk with somebody. You know what I mean,
we cord you. You could be whatever state where you at.
You stay with progress in different directions. But you know
what I mean, we ain't gotta I don't really pay

(19:11):
attention to none of that ship like I feel. I
see it and scroll look read it and just keep
scrolling like it ain't even like you know what I'm saying.
And a lot of times, ain't nobody really turn into
nothing anyway on some hip hop ship. So you gotta
pop a bottle, you gotta drink something. Come on that
you can't be sold with chaps on head. Come on now,
let's let's do it. Whatever you want to do. You
got a choice, baby, Come on. If you're supporting black

(19:31):
accidents over, you got French Montana Street. If you want
to do a shot, shot time, fam, I feel like
you feel like I'm whatever, let's do it. See smoke camera.
This is I'm just saying. I'm just trying to build up. Yes, yes, yes, man,
I'm trying to build up to it what you wanna do?
Kiss you want fresh for no, Look, I gotta get
something to eat. You're gonna let you eat live on

(19:53):
fucking drink Chaps. Me and Fab gonna get it in,
but you're gonna have a drink Listen. Come on, somebody
helped me out. This is crazy. Whatever I want to do,
this like, no was trolling us. I don't know that.
That's what I gotta ask you. This, what I gotta
ask you is your fans hitting you as much as
they're hitting me. For you to see them, they attack

(20:15):
both of us. I see them like yo, even when
I do so, they're like, you gotta do drink shop
Like y'all know you don't do podcasts and fresh like,
but you gotta do. You gotta do drink Champs. And
then I would run into you and you like, yeah,
you gotta. I'm like, you know, we gotta make that.
I just always wanted to do it when it was
time to do it, when we had something like you know,

(20:36):
like because you see drink Chaps, I remember what exactly
what you told me to say. As soon as I've
got to promote something, but just so you know, but
not even on the promote time to just something. We
got something to go off of, and it's you know,
it's just fooling here. Let the nigga eat. Come on, man,
fab never been here. Let's kiss eat. You're gonna take
a shot before the food and then we're gonna keep
it moving. This is what we gotta do. We are
for the culture. This is this is the first time

(20:58):
a person from the end of culture is running the
coach and we're gonna do this right, Jayda kisses my man.
I got him drunk yesterday doesn't mean I'm not gonna
get him drunk today. Fabulous has never been here. He's
the homie and he's gonna get the great treatment because
he has desert. See what it is is our culture
was dying because we can't. We forgot to praise our
people like to us, fabbie rappers should be a fucking superhero.

(21:21):
That's what it is like to me. Like you have
a look at you ever seen them? They put their
rock stars in. This is what I'm trying to say.
This is a rock stars, dude. This is what we're
gonna do right here. Baby, I feel like Jaya kissing
poor the shots. I feel like that's how you got
let's do it. Kids, come on over and up to
let's having party, eat a pizza and all that. On
let we're doing something different. On drink chairs, eating the

(21:42):
niggas he said, live eating, he said he can't drink
tweak and guess what we're gonna do? A mode man,
come on, make some know So so Fab, was it
you who started the Friday night freestyles? Or was it
was he started that? He started that? How did how
did I have that? I actually jumped in. He was

(22:05):
doing it, bubbled, he was doing Clue at night and
I heard I heard he was like, yo, you heard
the new Fab freestyles. Then I heard probably one or
two of him. I said, I need in on this,
and I've seen how much interest it was. I went
somewhere like Hole and Jake Cole and me. Everybody was

(22:26):
there like they everybody was like hey, we here. Whole
was like yo, it even got the clue. Ad Litt
was on that end, you know, because I told Clue like,
we gotta do that, we gotta you know what I mean,
I'm telling him to shout out Jamaica big music. Hut.
So was it so? Was it like? Because it felt
like y'all was almost balance each other at first. So

(22:47):
you started it first, you're saying fat and then he
started it. And then when when Kiss did it, he
was like this one, it was like I gotta kiss
y'all balls too, So it's like respectful kiss. And I
didn't even looked at it, like like he opening up

(23:07):
a mean lane for this. I love this and this
this went away. He bought it back. I need it.
I want let me get some of this. Look that
album got that check. Maybe this is this is the five.

(23:28):
This is the motherfucker Jada Kiss. This is the hip hop.
This is to you guys standing here, standing the test
of time with your career and standing here and by
the way, we all here have a career. We don't
have a job. This is a career when you got
more than ten years in their feet of your family,
and I personally want to say, I respect you, brothers.
I'm proud of you, brothers, and I want everybody to
go out there and get that motherfucking album. Salute and

(23:53):
it's going down like this ship Freshman was a little horse.
When it's hot, I can't even front my nigga frends.
I love you, my brother, we gotta chill that up.
That's what we gotta doing. We gotta get you know, bartenders,
you know what hit them? Fries got damn this is
the first time drink Champs history. They are eating live

(24:16):
on TV. And guess what we supported, Oh god damn
it because people from voting in the back. We don't
smoke a batter of water. Eating French fries and pizza.
That's some real wrapper ship. Just in case you don't know,
that's that's wrapping food. That's tall food right on the
road in New York ship. It's New York ship too.

(24:37):
We try to try to get y'all to New York pizza.
We eat New York ship. Definitely, definitely. We know we've
seen y'all at the other joint and they had like
a bottle of were wine for y'all. They they gotta stop.
They had wine for themselves. They gave us water. They
gave y'all water. It was one of Champs for real.
They gotta really, I gotta take my stip now, you know,

(25:01):
I'm sorry, I'm s's inside y'all inside. But so now,
so you guys are doing these freestyles now now into
New York to the fans and I'm putting myself in
the fans on At this point, it was like everybody
would speculating, are theyn't going at each other at first?
Because it was like you fired one off on on

(25:23):
forget what day, and then you fired one off like
the very next day, that the same day, the same
day when they all came out the same day. Mines
came out in the morning, he came out at midnight. Wow.
So I'm just saying people were like, people were speculating,
is it shots being thrown? Is this you know what
I mean? You guys going at each other? How how
did you'll turn it around? No? Because to me, I

(25:44):
hope they were going all right because when I started
doing it, I started doing it for the love of
what when I came from freestyling over the freestyling over
other people beats, and that's what I you know, initially
came in doing it like I felt like that was missing,
like you know what I mean, and I hadn't been
it in a while, so it was kin of it
was almost like spawning for me. And then when Kiss

(26:05):
came in and was doing them, so I see the
general that the interest in generated, and I was like, well,
let's why don't we combine it to you know what
I mean, put the theme behind it. Put you know,
Freddy versus Jason, but already free. Why was it called
Freddy ver Jason? Whoa, I'm just riding on Elm Street,

(26:26):
by the way, because they tried to suice. I mean,
Freddy Jason was a real movie. Oh you gotta at somebody,
you gotta we're not trying to do that. We know,
they gotta relax, relaxed. So I became Friday on Elm Street.

(26:47):
We just okay because I remember seeing it came at us.
Oh no, it wasn't nice. It was not nice. But
they made it clear, like you can say you're CNN.
Don't ever having on paper. And I'm talking about not
mind you because the time time Warner was Warner Brothers,
So I guess I guess at that time they couldn't

(27:09):
sue each other. But they made it clad like do
not use that, y'all. And if you noticed all or
none of our promotions should ever had CNN, you might
have said seeing but it was yeah, yeah, so that's crazy.
So like, okay, you guys are in the game. Now,
you gotts start learning contracts, right, because obviously when you

(27:33):
learn contracts. This is the reason why Kiss has been
on maybe three or four labels. You've been on Elektra
and I saw that Electra, then I went to Atlantic.
Then you have a stand no no Asta, Okay, elector
first one. Okay, that was your first deal. That was

(27:54):
what you know, but we never put the product on.
Oh okay, it's a this is a funny story. It
was we want to get it loyalty this get Clue
had worked that in this cope. So we got to
deal up there and Steve Stout was up there and
Clue end up doing something. I think Clue got fired. Wow,

(28:16):
little key. I think he cluled out fired from interscope.
And it was like coming to me like, well, are
you gonna go? We'll stay with or go with you
and Clue. I had a tough decision. This is my
first record deal. We just talked how you getting the
record deal was was the goal? You know what I mean?
That was goal. So I had this decision of it,

(28:38):
I'm not gonna walk away from my record deal, you
know what I mean, Let's do that or just go
to the Clue when we figure it out. So I
chose to go a clue and figure it out. Good brother,
Good brother, brother. I didn't. I didn't. I didn't feel
comfortable staying at in the scope with without people that
I knew. I always heard before that too, Howdy and

(29:00):
stre with shady and you know meany different luck things
and you have. That's that's all your fati, that's all.
You gotta celebrate you today. Crate that just we don't
hear eight times got damn you gotta listen. You can
always come back anytime, anytime you want to talk, because
you know, you know what it is. Also, I got women,
you know, I got a little like um uh uh

(29:23):
bugs and everywhere when people go and you know what,
I don't like when people say you don't have a
good personality. The thing about it is, you know that's
what I'm saying that you know why they ain't in
the locker room. But I see I'm in the locker
room with you. I know you're a funny nagger. Like
I know, I'm gonna display that today. We're gonna celebrate
you today. We're gonna celebrate the boat for y'all. You're

(29:45):
gonna get your piece of y'all for another shot or y'all. Yeah,
it's some rosette, you know, for the tracer. You know,
you know what I mean, you gotta you gotta tracing
your motherfucking shot what you know what a shot racer?
That's old school, Yeah, old was right now. Forty years old,
y'all as much as and fab You just had a
birthday too, if you just turned forties, though, not the chasing.

(30:11):
You know, you know I'm dyslexic. Come on, my brothers,
I'm dyslexic. Traction. Get money over being dyslexic for years
for the everybody in dyelexic class. Gotta start following me.
I'm just telling you so. You know we've been in
this game. But you just turned forty. You just celebrated
your birthday. How did that feel, brother? I mean it felt, truthfully,

(30:34):
it felt like a regular day. I noticed that's like
a milestone age, but I didn't really, I don't know
so much. Man, you feel different. I ain't gonna lie
my forty a birthday was trash. I just sent him
a sex turned forty sid Timber six, the fucking hurricane
can so fat Joe hits me and goes, we gotta go.

(30:55):
We're all gonna die. I know, excuse me. First off,
he didn't hit me and say that day I found
my friend is I'm at I want to ship that
problem one twelve. At the time, I'm thinking I'm doing it.
I got all the roads in in the world. And
Fat Joe walks in and says, I love you, happy
forty if we're all gonna die, Like what kind of birthday?

(31:18):
He's like, the hurricane is coming out me, fab I'm like,
I'm gonna stare at the Saint Regions. These niggas ain't
letting this come down. And then the Saint Regions evacuated me.
It was like I had to go back to New York.
This is the place I didn't want to be in
the forty because you got to celebrate outside if you
want to raise a real true blood New York. And
when you cut me and it said, if the Yankee

(31:40):
sign comes out, you need to celebrate your birth day
somewhere else. You understand what I'm saying, because there's other
people that's gonna come out because it's your fortier. And
guess what, I was right back in my town. Let's
make some noise for me going right back home. Even
though I didn't want to. I want to say the
town man, you can't escape the town so I can

(32:01):
do some drinking because I got notes and ship like that,
and I got a special surprise for y'all too. Where's
my man? Motherfucker's the name of the company nine Lives?
What what is it? Nine Lives Collective? Give him? Give
him a gift man, give him a gift place. Man.
If you know, we treat artists good, I'm an artist.
You know what I'm saying. Make sure the artists. Look.
You know what I'm saying. Kay, can you need some hennessy? K?

(32:23):
You're good. See what I'm saying. These other outlets don't
even know Nicker's names. You know what I'm saying. Treat
family got good. Hold me over there, you're good. I
know your seriously, guy, I expect you. I'm expect you. Brother.
Let's do let's do a look at that and giveing
them pre roads m and it supports Puerto Rico on
case you don't know that. Look at the top. That's

(32:45):
Heath and all that crazy ship on there. Look at that.
I like to treat my artists good. Fact we popped
the bottle of rods when they be wreck. Come on,
come on, kids, you gotta pop yours too. Come on,
I'm halfway through my bottle. Man nine, I say you
oh fu. They told me you're a real champagne drink up.

(33:05):
That's what they told me. Do you drink brown? But
you used to be a champagne drink I see you. Yeah,
let's see if let's see. We're gonna find out right
now if you're a champagne nigger right now. Okay, let's see.
Oh you're popping. That's championship game ship. Let's make some
noise that was like that? He not not this one kiss?

(33:31):
This is the show. Then you go. You got this
nice and cold? You know what I'm saying, We're gonna
drink a hold. This is how we do it. Man.
You know, we got to know how to treat our artists.
You know what I'm saying, our artists and superheroes nowadays.
And I got notes. I ain't going too my notes yet.
You know I got my ESPN. First take on, I'm
gonna make sure kids don't take out my eye. You know.

(33:52):
I you got to do something I learned from you. Okay, okay, okay,
And that's some pre rolls I'm gonnahit a pre roll
to them smoking blunt okay, kids got okay kids, okay,
kiss make some noise, matter, make some noise. What's kids

(34:18):
have been on a drink? Chance too much? It's how
that's how poured the champagne. Fat. That's it? Yeah, yeah,
that's fat. Is that what you call is again? It's
called the p scene because you hung then and then
your twist. You got that twist, then it's okay. It's
I learned it in Paris. Fat. I've been changing on
niggas for a while and think it should have checked

(34:38):
me a lot of time. It's been changing. Wow, I
think it's told me they had a jade the kiss
session and the alleged came in with why and he
was loose, and I looked. I didn't even find it funny.
I said, I like wine, this is what I and
we was just getting drunk gonna wine. You know it
wasn't the wine. Oh, I know what you're saying. You
gotta relax. I'm just rolling with the story. So fat,

(35:01):
what's what's that error in hip hop? Where if you
could live it again, like and you could just put
yourself in there where you would put yourself. Like I'm saying,
like any error in hip hop, you don't have to
be the error. It could be any error already knows
answering the golden ever? Baby, what is the golden ever?

(35:22):
If you say that, because there's different people who got
different ten years, what's your name on it? I ain't
gonna lie like from like ninety five or two thousand
and five? Okay, that's he asked me like a real
drink champer, because that's when we were asking people that
ten year gap. So you said ninety five to what
two thor you went a little further? Okay, that's not

(35:45):
that is a little further, right, because no, no, no, That'shi.
That's him. You know, I'm dyslexic and I don't know
math neither. I'm education. We saw some I'm that nigga
that niggas laughed at in the Yellow Boss. No, I
didn't go to high school. I was already in jail. Yeah,
I was in a juveniles you know. They got me
from they got me early for they got me early,
fourteen years old. It's done for me. What was doing?

(36:07):
But I started writing rhymes. Let's make some noise for
me figuring it out yeah, let me tell you something
about your man Fendi. Right now, Fendy got Hollywood m h. Ever,
since he snuffs sub zero work, it's a noise for
that makes some noise that because his industry car went

(36:30):
up like he was just normal, like like fending my
negger like a false from Let me tell you you
need one more snuffing. Listen, listenin wanted, let's keep fending.
Let's not want. This is the first work put up
young kids. Tell you he need to know when and

(37:00):
let me tell you all thinking, this is a story
I never said before in my life. Right. So Finny
sees me I'm performing and he goes, listen, man, you
need chance in between your performance. So I'm like, I
don't know what this won't wall. I'm like, yo, I
feel like I got any chance. He's like, I got you,
he asked me. He said, I'm gonna go everywhere my nigga,

(37:23):
the nigga snug on a plane. This is prepriate, Ladin. Obviously, dude, y'all,
I'm just different. Do you remember this? Listen my nigga.
Let me tell you what these these book niggas was this?
I said, how could you sneaker? On the flee. So

(37:44):
we walked in. The niggas that checked their tickets, they
give you, they ripped the ship back and they give
it back to you. The niggas had every nigga who
checked in and ripped the ticket and give it back
and put it in the radio and was like your
askin such such radio. These niggas came and they said,
oh we was already gonna be played. Fucked me up

(38:08):
six D. It's not just one of tune with these niggas.
That nigger friendly. Let's make some for him being grand girl. Yo.
I don't think y'all understand what I just said, get
on the plane is that's not that's a bat boost.
That's not jumping over the boost. That's killing the turnstown.

(38:29):
They're not jumping, ain't that? And you know if you
would have got caught, it had been mad awkward like
excuse me said, I think it's a bad thing. On
the plane is a fat jobs right? If I have
you ever seen the nigga smoke on the plane, not
the commercial, not the pride You blew a bowl on

(38:53):
the plane? Now, I seen the nigga blew a bowlie
on the plane. Who is he did he get the rest.
He used to smoke cigarettes, had smoking planes if some
planes still got the a little bit of both. I
heard niggas that sad they would jump on the plane

(39:13):
and smoke a bow. Yeah, I've never said that. I'm
trying to though, I want to come on, kay, you
want to smoke a bobie on the plane. I've been
on private, but I knew if I would to let
that bobie, I'm like everybody around smoked the blunt on
the train in New York. I've done and I've done
that between the cars, not the Metro, sitting in the

(39:35):
car just I've done that. But I felt so disrespectful
because there was there's always people there, just like for
real used to light cars up. That was his thing.
He literally loved to do that, roll up in front
of everybody, just liked it. He had it like timed
out so like he really liked his couple stops and
then you get off because you can get locked the
feet back. Then you definitely get some old school school
New York ship. Niggas ever smoked in the movie theater, Definitely.

(40:00):
I kicked out the Atlas. We went to CEC before
with the whole crew got kicked out before he was
on the look at this story, though, this is the illness.
They kicked us out. We get into this ship. We
put the blood in the um like the McDonald's cup.

(40:22):
We didn't be blown passing in around. That's what you
bab plasets see before, just coming on. They knocked me
styles and k Nobody wants to leave though we on
the back staircase. Now you gotta wait to the whole crew.

(40:48):
We fell asleep in the back staircares we wake up.
The whole movie there is empty. I mean it's like, yo,
nobody's did not our man doing popcorn? The whole ship
is empty. We come out the door and the snow
and like what the fuck? And then't like one last

(41:12):
They must be like yo, We're gonna go around one
more time. Then they say like yo, and picked this up.
And I was the Eli ship. I remember, remember that
ship was sleeping on the back staircase at Bay Plaza movie.
Think now. One thing I had to deal with, uh,
was me being from left track right and me having

(41:32):
people from Queensbridge actually because trash regard us of what
trash was. The person who walked me through and me
coming back home. It always was like a little hard
because people like, you know, it's always hate or something
because people expect you to just stay with your owner door.
You was from Brooklyn that had a unique situation. Most

(41:54):
of your crew was from Queen's. Did you ever like
receive slack from really? My my real internal Clue that
moved with me was still my coold in Brooklyn. But
when I went to Clue, it was just to connect.
We made that connection with Clue and they embraced me
because like I was Clue artist, you know what I'm saying.
But my my team that I was running with was

(42:14):
still went back to Brooklyn because my guys was was
with me. We go meet Clue and we're going like
you know, we every I think every artist too, was
coming in that you bring your you bring your homies,
like you don't even bring your team. I don't know
if they're doing that now, some some guys are doing it,
but um, you know now it's a different way. At

(42:34):
that time, you brought all your guys with you, like
it was everybody was showing up everywhere, ten twelve, fifteen
deep and don't let you have a show. And then
it's then it's thirty years forty. Your whole projects is there,
you know what I'm saying. So that's how we was moving.
So I never had that like coming back problem or
like you know what I mean. Moved to Queen's for

(42:56):
for like like two for like a year and a
year and a half, I lived on screen Feel Boulevard
right by Springfield High right by Springfield High School. Who
they like you? Why don't move over there? I just
was that was me supposed to be like my little
cut out the hood, out my Brooklyn hood to kind
of Queen's kind of thing. Now like Brooklyn is like
the cut Now did you ever think that, well, Brooklyn

(43:18):
some parts, you know, like with downtown Woodsburg, but you
best star in Brownsville in East New York is still Brooklyn.
It's still they gentrifying, but watch it still relax. But
we're doing this motherfucker hip hop. He's walking in now.

(43:40):
I just wanted to help, you know, we got to
boost these raiders. Keep y'all ship hot, make sure be
motherfucker's go get the what's it's not Friday on the street,
motherfucking buck daddy in. Yeah, let them know that niggas

(44:04):
ain't like that. What's going on with my brother man man,
you know it's grew happy Yeah, yeah, yeah to you.
Happy birthday to you, Happy birthday, his fabulous the only
nigger that got the name that I would. Happy birthday

(44:26):
to you. Yeah, that's take a shot for that fun
we're supposed to take me. I'm feeling a little nillow. Yeah,
we're gonna turn them off. Yeah, yeah, don't know when
you with me. I had to give you a surprise.
Let the chairman full up because we all helping promote

(44:47):
this motherfucking album that you guys got, helping promote the
excellence that you guys are putting together, and we're helping
doing it. You know what I'm saying with the chairman
of a vote, thank you for coming through. You know
what I mean? We have some questions? Yeah please here
you are? You are he's actually our guests today, because
that's how that's how I feel. We either wake up,
let's wake up time. That's how you feel. You ain't

(45:11):
seen you note that's yeah, I'm looking fresh ship man

(45:31):
enough vanilla black, excellent Black Vote TV and y'all fucking
into into legends. Legends. Everybody can't be one now you're
looking at for chance to you, Well, we just turned up.
That's vanilla baby. Yeah, while you an make the coke

(45:55):
also official drink. We're still negotiate. That went some No, No,
it's like the time gotta be right, you know, Okay, okay,
but I gave him my word like it did something
with that. We came up with it together. Yeah, that's

(46:16):
what I'm talking about, kid, Go ahead, take it over there.
How did that come on? Puerto Rican Day Parade and
Day parade? And I mean, I guess what a lot
of people don't know and what doesn't really get, you know,
publicizes how close New York rap artists are. Like we
don't really like have beef beef with some cats. LLL

(46:37):
has some beef for the rest of us, we didn't
really we don't really have beef with each other, like
from New York, you know what I'm saying. So we
all grew up together, you know what I'm saying, And
so us hanging out is nothing but us just like
hanging out like regular people. And um, we was at
the Puerto Rican Day Parade and we're sending the crib
chilling doing what we do. You know, he has a
lot of incredible ideas and you know it just started

(46:59):
off from helped to kick off the rock and you
know Sulia blessing my brother fab and look forward to
get money with him in the future. I'm talking about man. Yeah,
So what I'm talking about the one thing I've been
you got questions. You said you got questions. Yeah, him
with some questions. That's what I'm talking about. This is
your co host for the evening. That's all. That's your

(47:21):
top three mcs. That was a top one off tops
about my top three? Yeah, Biggie nas jay Z, I
gotta say the same thing, Biggie jay Z and and
no particular order. How are y'all as New York artists?

(47:42):
How are y'all adapting to the situation of trap music
and being on the kick versus the snare. I just
want to have another shot to that before y'all drink.
I want to just make sure everybody got sufficiently What
is your shot? What a shot? Yeah, let's do. But

(48:02):
that's want to let ya know, y'all drink, drink. Let's
where everything goes. You know when we slur our words
and yeah, we have fun because I came from here
to Yeah, a little happy birthday already know you got
I'm missing a shot. I'm not gonna skip it. Yeah,
that's not what I do over here. Damn. Yeah. So

(48:22):
what I'm talking about listen man once again, ye us
being you know, having fun champs. Most TV lets. Nobody
ask you and the crew no, yeah you're no, no,
we got saying we just so Yeah, I know you
needed that one, huh. I say the kick versus the share.

(48:49):
You know, we come from the kick, right, we come
from the which one? We come from the kick from
the we come from the s That's that's embedded. That's
something we can do effortlessly. But since they're doing the
other thing, I say, instead of negating it, you embrace it.
Then you're getting on that joint and kill it, you

(49:11):
know what I mean, instead of hating it. Yeah, you
like your situation and you maximize optunity even though it
might not be a cup of tea. Depth and just
you know, switch your style to whatever, you know what
I mean, if you can, if you do that, you're
that guy. You can switch up your style. You can

(49:32):
go stout. You feel like you you um well, dumb
your ship down. No, not dumb it down. You still
gotta be you never you do you on that trapp
be and obliviate that world, do you? That's a very
important word. I want to talk about New York rap.

(49:54):
You know, take it there, New York rap. We have
to do us. Do y'all feel like we as a
community of doing us? Are we trying to survive and
catch onto a wave? Or do you feel like New

(50:14):
York is New York? Man, I can't even shop water
that's New York, New York. A percentage is trying to
catch the wave. And then there's still a percentage that's
doing or New York. And so does the way you
feel like New does the way you feel like like
even changed? You know what I mean? So you can't

(50:35):
you can't go with the flow. You gotta be the floats.
You gotta be with the you know. So I think
I love that. I think it's important for people to
hear that because a lot of times, to be honest,
you don't get played in the southern cities because they
feel like there's some tension that's really not there. They
feel there's some lack of respect that's not really you
know what I'm saying, And it's just like, you know,

(50:55):
I want to just know your opinion on it, and
I would have to agree with you to looking good
as we got Cardi B out there, Cardi B is
kicking pure ass. When you speak to Cardi B, hustling
is so New York. You don't even have to say
where she's from, Like like, bitch, I know where you're from.
Don't mean to call up, but you know what I'm saying,
like you already know, and she's from uptown who it's

(51:18):
like New York? Yeah, she reading New York like and
she's out there kicking ass, like so did you guys?
You know, to reiterate his question, but in a different way,
Like a lot of people always keep saying it's New
York back. I never liked saying I never liked trying
to like bring New York. And I always felt like,
even when people was trying to do those records new

(51:40):
York back, you don't gotta say New York back. You
gotta make a hit record. And that's what puts New York.
When dudes like did he still breathing? In yourself and
myself and yourself? That question is already answered. They didn't
go nowhere. We know, you know, got to you know

(52:00):
what I mean, you start putting yourself, you start slating
from what you bring to the culture. When you add
to that. No, it's not back because it didn't go nowhere,
because you're looking at the culture, you know what I mean.
That's how you gotta carry to everybody feel like that.
I don't know. I want to be in a success circle.

(52:21):
Whatever it's successful. You know, it's different levels of success,
but whatever successful, I want to be in that and
the conquers. Do you feel like New York supports New
York enough? Like like the most most of it on
the low we're doing on the we don't, dudes. I'm

(52:41):
sure a lot of people that portray like they have
a problem with each other or there in their cribs
and in their own personal zones, playing their ship out
of the person's catalog or music or you know what
I mean, they enjoy to the person's success. They don't.
They don't do it as much as the self. That's

(53:02):
how the self slid in. You're saying that you were
still playing fifty while y'all was going at it. I'm
a fan of fifty, I'm not. Yeah, get Richard not
trying to classic anybody with ears. That was your classic.
Why y'all was battling? It's always a classic, and you
still listen to it. I'm not, I'm not I'm asking.

(53:26):
I'm a real listening. I deal with the situation on
the table that was all, you know, I mean, just
because it's the beautiful something was, you know, it was
a discrepancy. I don't take away from that body of work,
you know what I mean, that's that's still a classic,
no matter what's going. Fifty was mad at me one
time because I voiced that I felt like he was
trying to the fans, ye like when he was going

(53:49):
at you know. I mean, of course he had his
personal reasons why he was going at different people. But
when you're going at all these guys in New York
and trying to bring them down to put yourself higher, change,
you're changing the whole. You're changing the whole perspective, our
whole perspective to hip hop as a culture, to people

(54:11):
out of town too. You know, because at one point
he was going at kiss Joe what you know, and
you know, what's our defense without him needing defense. His
formula to come in was that. So I think at
a point that was his only only day he knew

(54:32):
was I'm gonna do this and that's gonna work. That's
what Works learned that. But I think he likes it too,
you know, that's he definitely, but that That's what's interesting
about your freestyles was like I always felt like when
you freestyle, it was like you're returning to like your
home base. Like that's where I came from. Okay, what

(54:54):
was that? How how I started? Yeah, that's what I
came from, even up there when we went up there
for Clue, that was me just I come from that
and I had to learn how to, you know, make
songs and even like you know what, did a song
with with with Puff and Bold too and we did
trade it all. Like that was me learning how to
make those kind of songs. But I come from the

(55:15):
class of watching Puff make records with you know what
I'm saying. So that's why I'm like, I knew how
to rap and mixtape for them. But then when I
had the time to make a song, I had to go,
you know to what I was raised on. Right. So
now when you hear like these stories and these super
producers and they're crazy ideas and like how they put

(55:36):
it together. You guys both work with puff. He's standing
right here like like, what was it described? What is
it like being in the studio with him? Because all
he's been on before, all of us, we all look
up to him, We all show him up. Damn, I
just seen you, my nigga, bouleg cat, my nigga. So
listen how that for me is does everything like he

(56:00):
he's the first person that gave us an opportunity. I
feel like we should make the opportunities. And one of
the most golden is things you know what, don't even recognize.
It's like giving you an opportunity. It's like coming out
of the draft and go in prices. We was able

(56:22):
to get drafted to the Chicago Bulls when Jordan's was
the hottest see you know what I mean, So it
was that's a blessing from the Lord itself. And then
him just showing us. Let me backtrack a little bit,
not only him, we was able to be in the
presence of notorious br G you know what I mean.

(56:45):
So that definitely make that he made the stars. He
changed our lives. You'd be able to, you know, put
my son through college by my mom's the house, learned
how to perform, do things of that nature. You know
what I mean? For me, it's prices. You know what

(57:06):
I mean. I would my story. He's included in my story. Yeah,
your life couldn't be told. Yeah, you know what I mean.
And that's and that's all gratitude or place from work
ethic from to cassy even tell you like I'll be
if I'm working. I don't even want to sleep. I
don't I want to keep working. The only one besides
in you, the only even thing I see that this

(57:29):
he could stay up longing in anybody. And he like
an accent, did you and then you and then you
and then you get my partner when he used the
word ruby loring and motherfucking everything. Yeah, just getting that's

(57:53):
the five birthday, can't Yes, Yeah, I'm saying your group,
we know you don't drink joins your champagne. No, you're
gonna have a ship. We got we got m No
tyger no tyger. Okay, that was real, but no doubt

(58:19):
everything over here without water. Let me just tell y'all something.
Let me say us something. Um, the fans is very
important to us, right and the thing about it is
the fans wanted not only y'all on head, but they
wanted you on head, right, And we wanted to show

(58:41):
love because I'm an artist, right, So but I wanted
to give y'all something more then something because I'm your pad.
That's the thing about it is I want you to
win more than anything else, because that's that's the fun
where I come from. I'm the same exact thing. I

(59:03):
just I just still see you brothers together because because
y'all like from two different hoods, Like, I just still
want to because I know we touched on it a
little bit earlier, but still, just how did job put
it together? Like with with y'all two together, we're we're
it's just like, yo, it just going, let's do an album.
Was it because you're both on Depth Jam? Or was

(59:26):
it just like even if y'all wasn't on Depth JAM
and you was on you know, I think it's them
from my mutual respect, Yeah, that's my brother, you know
what I mean? And not only that, we we were
carrying the torch for New York. You know what I mean.
We gotta keep that thing lit and lit out of
high blue flame. So you know what I mean. Sometimes

(59:49):
is bigger than whatever label you on or whether you
gotta take some initiative on yourself and and just you
know what I mean, spark up the culture sometimes and
that's where that's where I linked this project them from. Yeah,
I want to say, I'm excited about this project. This
is like a dream coming. Did you think I never did?

(01:00:10):
I was shocked, Like when I heard it, I was shocked,
you know. And this um because I think they they
they balance each other out. You know what I'm saying,
it's what you need, and it's it's so authentic, but
it's what It's not what you would have kind of like,
you know, just obviously put together, but it's what you

(01:00:31):
would have dreamt for. And so you know, I look
forward to the congratulations, congratulngratulations. We fell up, you fell up,
You fell up, you fell up? Come on? Oh yeah? Also,
why do we get the shots. It's my brother Groomy
Low's birthdaythday, so we want to bring out a vegan
Kate because he's vegan. Happy birth ye, Happy bird to black,

(01:01:07):
Happy birthday birthday to ye. Okay, something gave me something,
recollarct to me something the black versions. We gotta do
the Spanish version. Then cool beyond your fair, cool beyond
your yo. Let me just say this on behalf of

(01:01:37):
drink Chaps, thank you. You're one of the most genuine
people ever in the industry. You're always the same from
every different era. I felt like I know your thirty years.
I can't know your thirty years, only forty, but in
my mind, I know your thirty year in my mind,
and we've been a great guy for thirty years. You

(01:01:59):
do what you gotta do. I heard about you going
to Ethiopia and you know, baptizing children in my mind. Again,
that's in my mind, but I know you went to
Ethiopia and I just wanted to see so great soul.

(01:02:26):
You're one of them great people. You're one of them
people that it's like a human insect when he coming around,
it's like you lit acent, just loving the air with
definitely don't know what you mean though, Gonna gotta throw
that out here. You know when you like instance clearly

(01:02:47):
is love but something instance think. That's what I'm saying.
That's why you still those are the other one. So
we gotta get it from the guy with the ship
wrapped around his head. Then you know he knows he
got the good ship a little bit. Okay, let's make
some noise for us not knowing when we're talking about
right now, Yo, treak up. It's finally you're getting drunk

(01:03:08):
on your own show. You know you use I've never
made it. Let's have another shot. Let's have another shot.
I'm in, I'm in, I'm in. Okay. We need to
treat our guests the right way. Let's treat let's get
them shots to come on. Come on, no, no, no,
this mean I need to shot. I got you? Okay, Yeah,
I just mean eyes that's going down. That's that Chris Vanella,

(01:03:41):
Chris Vanilla. God damnit. So now I just snuck up
in this motherfucker. Yeah money, let's talk show. Listen, listen.
These boys are both on rock Nation, both for y'all,
Rock Nation, right, How does that for for for both
of y'all? Technically, yeah, I'm locked. The Locks is on

(01:04:07):
rock Nation. You know what I mean? They have they're
having something on the table for me that we you know,
it's yet to be. Just Signmurad carry y'all shout out,
showed me a plaque, you know what I mean? That's
in history. Congratulations to rock Nations, A great movement, great

(01:04:29):
movement for hip hop. You know what I'm saying, just
managing our own talents, looking at our feach others space
gotta you know, we gotta send some of the drink champs.
We're gonna get to a space. We're gonna get all
these all these hip hop black on brands were gonna
be up here. You know what I'm saying, That we're
gonna know for each other. That's a great that's a
great segment because where we had Homes just dropped his

(01:04:51):
four four four album, right and he's he's speaking like
it's just he's that line was how dare I drink Bovardere? What?
Who was that moment for you? Um? Because I know
that's your brother. But also he still loves one of
the biggest artists to funk out there. Man. I mean,

(01:05:13):
I think he was in such a spiritual zone when
he was doing the whole album. He was just living
his truth, you know what I'm saying, And like, there's
no way that if we're living our truth, we can't
love me. We're not supposed to love each other. We
don't stick together, Like like that's not our truth. What's
going on right now is not our truth. And the
thing everybody has to understand is, like some of us

(01:05:35):
out there, we actually set the price for you, you
know what I'm saying, And when you come, you'll be
able to set the price for the next generation. But
right now I'm setting the price for you. So if
you go and you rock with somebody else, you're just
lowering your cut. Baby. You know what I'm saying. This
is black magic at his fullest. Imagine what they are
not gonna pay for it if it don't come this
un cut. So it's like, yo, I got to have

(01:05:57):
the price high, so everybody motherfucker eats. But it's a
situation where we have to be conscious of that. I
don't think people doing on purpose, you know what I'm saying.
It's not really all the way like that. But we
have to enter in this mold of consciousness and know
what we're doing with our money because our money is
not getting put back in our communities and that we're
begging and scrapping and scraping. And I'm not really one

(01:06:17):
of them niggers. So if you're motherfucking buy a rock,
I'm giving all the money to the hood. You know what,
I'm saying, I'm gonna keep like a little bit for
myself because I like the ball, you know what's like that.
But I'm saying most of the ship, it's gonna be
going to making changes, open in school and doing different things.
But it's it's just about having that economic power, you
know what I'm saying. And right now, hip hop has

(01:06:38):
an economic power, and we gotta make quality brands, quality records,
quality entertainment. But we gotta like own our ship and
support our own ship, you know what I'm saying. So
it's now look, so look, this is a problem. A
lot of them catch it that you'll drink. They voted
for Trump. You know what I'm saying, You're drinking Nation Ship.
The sending donations, I'm sending donations to motherfucking change for

(01:07:00):
ain't how university. I'm not. I'm just I'm really I
am trying to sell this black love to y'all. I
don't want to get it twisted because I know the
war that we're end and I know that if we
don't get our paper and we don't understand how to
work together, then we're just gonna be in the same thing, man,
understinking we have chrome sticking were rich when we pull

(01:07:20):
even the rich. We only have one percent of the
wealth in the United States, but we control seventy of
the culture something. I mean right there, we got we
had one percent of wealth. You know what, other time
we have one percent of wealth the day we became
free slaves. Ain't not even changed since then. So we
have a new generation of entrepreneurs and go get us that.

(01:07:43):
We gotta rock with each other right now, because it's
like times of the essence. And the thing is, you
can switch that ship over real quick. You can take
power real motherfucking quick. And hip hop got that ship.
And you know so, whether it's as space or what
or what um you know, Ross is doing with Bella,
what y'all doing with Tiger anything, it is at least

(01:08:06):
you at least need to have the choice going to
the type of thing off the back keep doing I'm
talking about whatever your your vibe is, what I'm saying,
it's just that basically what you're saying is there's a choice.
You can't tell me Rock don't taste better than any
of that other ship. You know, Yeah, you know what
it is. It's just and it's not just with the

(01:08:28):
Rock it's just with everything, I think we are becoming
more conscious. I'm not saying we should be. I think
we are, and we just and we're on We're on
the right path right now what I'm saying. So I
don't really have no criticism. But when when it comes
to making change, we're gonna need some money. You know,
what was my dream? And this is some real ship,

(01:08:49):
Like it's crazy. I was in Amsterdam, um Amsterdam, Holland
obviously right, and I'm there with styles Peak, and I
walked into a spot. And so you can't buy weed
in one spot. You can buy the weed in one spot,
but then the other spot you can't buy weed, but

(01:09:10):
you could drink. You understand what we're trying to say.
So you you bought a weed spot on one side, right,
I mean, excuse me. You buy the weed on one side,
and then if you want to smoke the weed, you
go across to the ball. But you can't buy no
weed at that ball, right, And but if you have weed,
you can smoke, but and then you can drink. But

(01:09:31):
it's the same two people who own the ball. So
it's like fab owns the dispensary. And then and then
Jada kiss across the street almost the actual ball if
you want to go smoke your ship. And I was
just like that was so genius to me, Like it
was so simple because I told you I'm from special education.
I apologize, so I look at things in a simple way.

(01:09:54):
And I was like, damn, why can't we figure that out?
Like you know what i' I'm saying, like, man, look
you I could, I could sell you the bus. That's
that when the litt let's call it what it is.
That's that where they left. Niggers need to stop cooning
right now. It's an emergency situation. Niggas need to stop cooning,

(01:10:15):
including myself. You know what I'm saying, nothing on me.
We all need the mother get focused and get this
money where you can put my own bag. Yeah, I
love this drink. I like when you like this daddy,
when you put my daddy, like when you scrap thing
like that, you'll be practicing. You got your notes, Okay, Yeah,

(01:10:36):
I'm not gonna go with that one out there. Every
day every day it's a birthday on drink champs. God
damn it. I'm in Okay, got notes now, I'm trying
to get my life together what's going on? What did
y'all think about? Excuse me, what y'all think about the

(01:10:59):
m in them freestyle. That's a good one because I
think he used his platform and his voice to speak.
I liked it to project what he thought. And I
just check up everybody to speak up. You know. I
wish it would have came not at the BT before that.
I wish the BT would have been the second one

(01:11:21):
or something. I just I thought it was cool because
you didn't thought eminem to do it at me too.
But then and then the gen said he got an
album coming out and a lot of things is lining
up for the market and of it. No, I mean
not taking nothing away. He's a lyrical monster. But what
he was saying wasn't wasn't. Everything he was saying was right.

(01:11:45):
I just wish she said it before that. We can't
really be mad at the message. But never I just
told you he's talking about the fact that would have
on the world if it wasn't tied to the B
T Wars. Yeah, like it just seemed a little having
out some black people on that one. People appropriate to

(01:12:06):
be No, no, no, no, no, listen, I'm not saying
nothing negative Okay, we're talking about we have to talk
about our global perception. You know what I'm saying, And
it's just the only thing he was saying is that
that I think the BT wars was a good idea.
Though I think it was a good idea, But I
understand how you appreciation or appropriation where he was using

(01:12:28):
that platform because you know, you know the way when
we've been doing that, all that wineing and marching, they've
just been looking at us like we're winding and marching.
So I think that's what he's saying that he would
have rather him doing on CNN, so it wouldn't look
like you know what I'm saying, What wouldn't that is
able to do that on the A m as. They
wouldn't even give they wouldn't even gave you that to

(01:12:52):
do that interesting point, and wouldn't even give you the
two fifty seconds and then the w that you even
say that type of message on that platform. I'm gonna
tell you what I thought immediately, not that anybody's asking,
but it's your show today, No, no, this is this

(01:13:14):
is appropriate? Yes for me. The first thing I felt,
I was like, I was like, thank God that m
did that ship was really really dope. Then the second thing,
I was like, people gotta stopped beating us to the
punch to take care of us. And what I'm saying.
I was talking with Bonal the other day. I was like,
thank you for everything you did to us, But I'm

(01:13:36):
you know, I won't have to beat you. I'm meant
to step into that zone, you know what I'm saying,
Like like like I'm talking about other people caring for
our people more than for our people, and I'm saying,
I'm saying everything beautiful. I'm saying, thank God for Bonal,
thank God for Eminem. I don't I can't lie and

(01:13:57):
say I don't wish it was j the kiss, you
know what I'm saying. I don't whisten it. I don't
wish it was fab you know what I'm saying. And
it's just like, um, we have to understand how powerful
you know, our world? Did they making sure our wor
all on fall apart? You know what I'm saying. They

(01:14:18):
you know, they seeing it and they understand the magic
in it, but were not understand that our magic. So
it's like that most ferocious thing that you could kick
and utilize that time on TV. You know what I'm saying.
We I just feel like we got to utilize that time.
You know, he would have gave me a jay to kiss,

(01:14:39):
the platform to do that or what. Or they did
it because it was Eminem doing it, and of course
they're looking at it as a moment for themselves too. Yeah,
I don't think so. I think they would have had
Emminent on sife fer. I think they would have still
had him on the safe. I'm saying, what they let
us do it, What they would have given us that
you was gonna spit prior to that, I think so,
I'm saying, I think so. I think at the clock

(01:14:59):
of the world, they wouldn't let anybody do it that
wanted to touch that particular time. Over I mean, overall, overall,
it has to be something that fuels us to be
first for us, you know what I'm saying. And you
know that may feel uncomfortable and everybody's undid so many
different records, you know what I'm saying, But we gotta
be clever without entertainment, so we could keep on shock

(01:15:21):
in the world, you know, and then shout out shot
Colin Captain Bath, how was your birthday? Man? Was what
was your wish for this year? Um, there was wealth,
yea knowledge itself. I like the I like I like.
I like vibes, you know what I mean. I like

(01:15:42):
a good vibe more than like wanting for anything or
like you know what I mean. So I got a
cool vibe. I spent some some of the time with
my kids. Um, I went out and grabbed the bag,
you know, spend some more time with my kids. And
you know what I mean. I felt like I was

(01:16:04):
a milestone age. I didn't. I ain't I'm gonna have
a party. And we had parties, but I was more
like just trying to just vibe, Like just see where
I look at you look back on where I became.
Did you miss me for real? Because we I'm saying,
it seems like a things his birthday party? Man, Man,
I t for your birthday. He why want your party

(01:16:24):
with me for your birthday? Man? We were party for
my birthday before you came to my party. And you know,
but me and you ain't never really party. You know
what I'm saying. Eyes, brother, many, I understand, I understand.
You know what I'm saying. Let's do it goes down

(01:16:45):
like that? Every year, fact has a theme for his
birthday parties. It was the theme this year, my brother
parties coming. I was still able to do this together.
You should be. I'm looking like I was on your
graund so I was Rael, call up the pilot. Yeah,
let's do it. I just gotta get my huge es. Yeah.

(01:17:07):
I just gotta get my shoes. I got my suit.
I'm telling to bone ut up. I knew it was
the funniest niggasin the ray Ship. Oh, because you're like
you you kill J. We don't even you never told
that story and you never told a story. I I

(01:17:32):
was thank you got me being here here. Very J
came with me, get the funk out. Ray J came
to Vegas with me. Oh, I I just want to say,

(01:17:52):
we're gonna take it too. We hit to me and
you got I didn't know this part of it. I
don't even know racing. It's me. That's crazy. Tyrese in
Um having heart No, no Gary Um, he just he
just different. Seems like you. Okay, so chu out. It's
me Tyrese, ray J and if Ary Gray. You know

(01:18:16):
I'm gonna type of that. I like your riding, man,
I like people. That's unpredictable. Ain't. You know what I'm saying.
I like different personality. So I was like I never
knew they would be come with day all the day,
but like, you know, yeah, that sounded like the type
of night I want to have in Vegas. You know
What's what I'm saying. So ty reach the fight. This

(01:18:38):
is a Floyd fight, right yeah, and ty Reech keep
on talking about like how you got to get back
for church and we just like, you know, the night
ain't start. You gotta get back for church. We and
motherfucking Vegas. Nigga, Like you can go to church next week.
You know what I'm saying, Center sending your thing. You
know what I'm saying that number were in Vegas. Don't
be bringing God into the city. Don't bringing God and
God into this situation. You know what I'm saying. Gray,

(01:19:00):
It's like, nigga, shut the funk up. Then you got
um ray J. So ray J is like just really
like feeling like ray J right now. You know what
I'm saying. I'm saying, he's at home with his brother daddy.
We're in Vegas. He's a friend that's feeling it to

(01:19:22):
the tip degree, Like Yo, check this out. Niggas. I
told y'all niggas. And also we had his back, so
he was good and so boom, we're rocking through the night.
You know what I'm saying. Me and Fat we usually
brush shows at the fights of the games. You know
what I'm saying. Jade is always then to cut him
saying with his own tried I'm talking to y'all so

(01:19:43):
you can visualize it. Dada old lights, said Jada Light,
laying in the cut, smoking and talking and whispering and
the raspy voice. This is really what's going on at
the joint. So I'm up in there, you know. And
we decided to have it dinner, you know, and we
had to fight and we just say no, we're gonna
go eat whatever weever. We're signal and our ship, you know,

(01:20:07):
because we did. We did in their heavy So everybody
everybody coming to the dinner like, dinner's on me. You
know what I'm saying. I like to I like to
buy dinner. Yeah. So we had dinner after the fight
last minute because we bumped into each other and my
mouth at Johnny some more pick it up. And when
we went to the dinner, yeah, there you go. We're
talking at the dinner. I think I had cracked a

(01:20:29):
joke for something about ray J being on Floy's. You
know they had like seven yeah, yeah, yeah, because I
think but now nobody goeside. And then a little Way
had like those lines, uh, get you leave your dead
in the living room, little Wayne lines this line and

(01:20:50):
the rap before your dead in the living room. Okay,
it was a wrap line, right, but I switched it
for twitters coast. So you got my man listen trying
to make this coach whole another podcast. Yeah, that's my nig.

(01:21:13):
I love him. I just didn't think the Army nigger
was gonna say that. I thought Bobby Brown was that
was his ship. But dream came on his back. But
continue so tough haster dinner. We had to dinner talking
about me tweeting ray J singing in the living room.
You know, it was a funny Twitter moment at that time.

(01:21:36):
And I don't know what this year this was, but
it was when Twitter was popping. It was funny. And
whatever ray J walked in, everybody oh laughing from the
from the night. Ray J cool at this point, he like, yo,
fab you killed me last night. It was cool. Everything
was cool. He that's the exact word with him. A
little bit. Yeah, like you killed me like you know
some jokes. Ship I'm full Dame Dash laughing at Kevin Hart,

(01:22:03):
laughing at everybody having everybody it ain't even but they
saw anybody sounds so funny like when they get seen it,
it was like a like a like a funny thing,
like you know what I mean, it's a funny guy, right,
he didn't. If you do something funny, we're gonna laugh.
So ray J leaves, we had a dinner. We laugh.

(01:22:28):
Everything cool at the dinner, ray J leaves. I don't
know what happened. Ray J bumps into Kevin Hart in
this hotel. Just sounds crazy. Kevin Hart calls me, says, yo,
I just seen ray J. This nigga is bugging. He
got a tight ass redhood by keep talking about he

(01:22:49):
got indoor pools and outdoor pools in six seven Rose
races outside. Come with him the money team. He's screaming
all kind of ship your you knew the pre balls
before he laid his sixtheing, this is Kevin Heart telling
me that telling you, I'm like, what are you talking about? Kevin?
He said, that's what I was asking, ray J, what

(01:23:11):
are you talking about? I was like, all right, cool,
we're supposed to meet up. I got a show and
Vegan I got let me get it, let me get
it and take it over. We had a show Me

All right, was the moms n hip hop has been

(01:23:41):

the corridor. I'll dress your room is to the left,
to the right as Floyd in fifth and ray J,

(01:24:31):
rushing far, rushing far do That's why I said pick
it up from right now. It's like this, how I
gotta pick it up from right up? Very go ahead,
a killing Come tell the story, Bruce bru We're in

(01:24:52):
to listen, listen, listen. When we build that beautiful nice
y'all ros the far brand and y'all. I'm walking in
at that whole hallway right there. I see Floyd, Fifty
and ray Ja. I say what's up to Floyd? I say,
what's up to? Fifty? Fifty holds my hand like but

(01:25:16):
don't let it go, So then he taps ray J.
Ray J must have been telling Floyd and fifty, Yo,
this nigga Fab was talking shit about us. He said
the Money Team ain't ship, we ain't ship the he
just whatever. So Fifty says, ray what's that ship that
you said? Fat was saying. He's like, ray J turned around.

(01:25:38):
Now he's stuck, like he gotta he gotta back up
whatever he was telling them. But I'm right there. So
ray is like, your Fab, we're the money team. You
can't disrespect us, Fab, We're the money team. I'm like, what,
ray J, what are you talking about? What happened? We
got six rolls royces outside Fat, we got indoor pools,

(01:26:02):
outdoor pools. I'm like, ray J, what the funk are
you talking about? This is what I'm saying, like to him, like,
what are you talking about? Bro? Then I looked at him.
He got the tight red hoodie on that Kevin Hart
told me on the phone. He said, Yo, he got
a tight red hoodie d and flip flops. I looked down,

(01:26:23):
I see the flip flops. I looked up. He got
the tight red hoodie on. So in my man, I said, oh, ship,
this is the ship Kenn Hall was telling about when
he said he was bucket out here is a comedian.
So you're not really taking it serious. I can't even
understand it and don't sense what he's saying. So now
I see, so Nacy, all right, this is the bugging

(01:26:44):
ray J, bugging ray J right now that we're talking
to I'm like ray Jack. He's like, you're fat, disrespecting Floyd,
You're disrespecting fifty, disrespecting the money team want to happen.
I don't know what he's talking about. I'm trying to
follow it while he's even saying to me, I'm trying
to see what has been to But then he like,

(01:27:06):
so I look at Florida fifty and they still trying
to follow along. Everybody's trying to follow along with ray going,
but he's not making no sense. So now We're like raised,
like yo, let me get back yet happen? Go this
is the outside from we said, what's up to Florida fifth?

(01:27:28):
Because I'll address it when you was right, I'm with
thousand mind he got I just came in when we
knew mean we just came the ship. We need together.

(01:27:50):
Keep me going. Look we said we said it was
up to Florida five, right, m ray J a dressing roommates.
Now I see Fab come up to this is the
locks just no, just miss peak. Smooch wasn't there for
this particular I see I see Fab say it was

(01:28:10):
up to Floyd and fifth, and now he has some
words with ray J. But ray J was bugging. He
got that same mouthfit and the tote that he's saying,
the red flip flops. That means, right, we need to
make clip. I don't think we're breaking it down. I
don't think so. If he had on the same clothes,

(01:28:32):
that mean he'd been up since then, So that means
he's on a different stratus. Fan were listen fight, Let's
just listen her on the third ship, because there's one
don't changes. And then you got here ships also looking
like the little little the red jo. Check it out
the ship. He's saying from Kevin Hart. His outfit is clicking.

(01:28:55):
It's absolutely right. I can wait. And he had the
red flip flops with the red adedis hoodie, the whole
suit on. Now at the fabs talking the fifth in
Floyd any knowledge, ray J. And then he's seen he
was bugging. He's back talking the fifth and Floyd, I
ain't know. Fifth was holding his head now because he said,

(01:29:24):
so we're looking at it, it looks like from out
for when we're looking at it's Fab talking the fifth.
Ray J is trying to talk the Fab but he ain't.
He's ignoring him now because he's white. So now he's

(01:29:45):
going like this the space a few hits to the
ray J is trying to get his attention, but he's
still talking to me. He's still talking the fifth in Floyd.
He's tapping his chest one too many. He got the
fl through my head while he's talking to me. What's
wrong with this? Is pressing me right now, Like I

(01:30:07):
went back to the hood for a second, I said,
oh ship, ray J is pressing me right now. So
that's thought about it. It pushed them now when he
pushed them his spits, glasses fly or shades went over
there because you know he pushed ray J. I'm not

(01:30:27):
sure if ray J pushed them back, but then the
security and its wine. But ray J went but lest
they after that, he started calling out gang shit all
of that. But one of my men grabbed them and
breed them in. What pushed was it? I need to

(01:30:49):
know actual? Let me tell you the actual push. The
actual push, because he had on the hoodie. I pushed them,
but I grabbed his hoodie too old screw hoodie perfect.
I'm gonna publicly like sound ray J, you with us.

(01:31:19):
If your guy pulled over, you left that out when
you told me what happened. I didn't know her. Your
hood got pulled open, then we're gonna pull your hood
over your head. What your team behind you get dog?
But I ain't. I didn't swing on him. I didn't

(01:31:40):
do nothing else to him. I just grabbed him. But
I had him by his hood. That's some brookl ship.
That's your automatically. That him going, that's what he started
doing the while and ship. When I let him go,
he start going. Man. I scrabbed him and pulled him
in our dressing room until he calmed down a little bit.
He couldn't even get out the hoodie joint though. Okay,
I can't get out of that. That's like a move.

(01:32:00):
That's like a like somebody pull your who like this.
You can't trying to scrot around and get out of that.
You can't get out of that. So I had that that,
but I wasn't trying to like hit on because I
was like, just really just relax, relax, relax. I would
tell you he gave him to Millie. I've never seen

(01:32:24):
him get out of it. Now, that's how you know
your homie is funked up. And just keep yeah, definitely
touching me. Yeah, ray Je stopped touching, yeah, he said,
and he said stopped. Yeah, he said that. Nigga told
me don't touch him, and I touched him like he's

(01:32:45):
he kind of do it, and that's when they escalated.
He I told him stop touching me. Can I can?
I just give you on my parties, you gotta understand
definitely no. I mean from there from there when he
smoked yo yo. So it was my fault. I was
I'm at the dinner, I'm pushing them. You know what
I'm saying. We're getting it like that and then I'm

(01:33:06):
not gonna lie, it's gonna come out like after and
I kept ampering them up. You know what I'm saying.
I kept anthing ray J up just on the ship,
not to like whatever whatever. Yeah, just sucking around like
like like we all just like you know what I'm saying,
like a crue, you know what I'm saying. That so
feel no way? Then yeah, yeah, yeah, we was all together.
We kept on working with him, and then I don't know,

(01:33:28):
and then and then the drinks was going crazy and
vegan sometimes you know, things in drinks because because it
wasn't like you said, he kept We mean, ray J
kept fab No, no, no, we kept you everybody like
like like because he's saying he's fair, so we're working

(01:33:50):
with him like he's fam you know I'm saying, we're
not knowing, like you know, he may have been partying
a little much, because he's up from that night, from
that dinner to backstage. He's still out in the park
to him. Hold it didn't after this, I walking at
this and I think I'm looking at that baby Tupac.
You know what I'm saying, I'm not knowing what's going on.

(01:34:11):
He's screaming out the craziest gang all types of ship,
and I'm like, yo, I'm like, what went on? And
so it's clicking to me that old man. All that
ship started from us sucking around from Charlie. Damn, I
don't shut up. And then the shape kept going, and
you know I got them on the phone, ray J

(01:34:33):
apologizing being a cool thing guy I was. The joke
started from in the first place. He was on the
Floyd seven. I was Floyd crib. It was light. It
was like it wasn't even a real real time that
we would give each other. It wasn't really something like

(01:34:53):
in front of your girl. I still did the show too, Yeah,
he still did the show after that whole little thing.
I went, still did the show. I had an after
party after it. Right ray J showed up to the
after party. I heard with Shook Knight trying to get
in the after party. They didn't let him in. And
then that's when he called up to the Breakfast club

(01:35:14):
and did the famous friend that rant was. I ran
a special to the day. I listened to it like
a couple of months ago, and it was still still time.
You got this be you have no idea, ray J,
your only correct. I was cool with ray J. Cool,
she happened whatever, whatever, and then you can show up

(01:35:36):
to your after party. And then later on Jack he's name,
ray J pulled up to that, but he pulled over,
pulled up with shut what what? What was the thoughts?
You're trying to press you again? He thought he was
doing a double press, double press, your ship get wrinkled again,
and you pressed it again. That's what it is I'm doing,

(01:35:59):
ray J. I ain't know. It's like that. You did that.
This is new news. You got a lot of gates
saying you like the double press the man? And then
what was the first thoughts to your mind? A lucky guy?
See him at the party? Thing? This is I just heard.

the bed. That's crazy. Let it go crazy, so you can't.
You kept it cool. I kept it cool. I went
back to my room, laid up. I woke up in
the morning. My phone was on fire. When you when
