Speaker 1 (00:03):
Welcome to NFL Draft season Fantasy Pros. I'm Andrew Erickson.
Today we're breaking down the team meets for the NFC West.
This is part one of an eight part mini series.
We're going division by division breaking down all the team
needs ahead of this year's draft. But before I get
into the team needs this month, we want a chance
to win a sign Stefon Diggs Texans jersey for free.

That's it an now I saying to win it right
here on the channel. Just make sure showing those notifications
so you can know when new videos are up and
to claim your prize. Let's kick things off with the
Arizona Cardinals. Arizona made big additions to the defensive line

(00:49):
in free agency, the signings a defensive tackle Dalvin Thomlinson
and Edgresher Josh Sweat. Even so, beefing up the d
line remains a primary focus for the Cardinals given how
poor Jonathan Again's front seven was against the run and
pass last season. Their favorite in the betting market at
plus one ten to select a defensive lineman with their
first pick in this year's draft. Post free agency, I

(01:10):
think the offensive line might be the biggest need for
the Arizona Cardinals. After all, they invested defensively during free agency,
so win surprised me to see them op for offense
in round one. I if in tier offensive lineman from
last season with free agents. After playing significant snaps last year,
right tackled Joan Williams is in the last year of
his contract after playing just six games in twenty twenty

(01:31):
four because of a knee injury. O line makes sense,
specifically at guard, with that position listed with the second
shortest odd to be the Cardinals first pick in this
year's draft. More so on offense, wide receiver Jay Jones
is going to return a one year deal, but another
wide receiver is not out of the question for the Cardinals.
I also strongly considered perimeter cornerback Sean Murphy. Bunting wasn't

(01:52):
fantastic last season to get a big chunk of change
from Arizona in free agency during the twenty twenty four
three years twenty two million. He's predicted the start, but
the Cardinals should invest in another boundary cornerback. Some prospects
that fit the needs at O line, cornerback, edge, d tackle,
and wide receiver that Arizona has been connected to include
defensive end Shamar Stewart from Texas A and m wide

(02:14):
receiver Matthew Golden from Texas, wide receiver Trey Harris from
Ole Miss office of lineman donnoth and Jackson from Ohio State,
and cornerback Will Johnson from Michigan. Next up San Francisco
forty nine Ers. There was a max exodus of players
from the forty nine ers this offseason that they couldn't
afford to keep. John Hargrave, Jalen Moore, Elite Collins, Leonard Floyd,

(02:35):
Jordan Mason, Deebo, Samuel Jay green, Law, Javarius Ward, Aaron Banks.
The list goes on and on. They need to nail
this draft to get back into the NFC title conversation.
On the offensive line, forty Nineers have two projected starters
in the last year of their contracts, Trent Williams, meanwhile
not getting any younger entering his age thirty seven season.

(02:55):
There's also a severe lack of depth on the defensive line.
The forty. Niners secondary also lacks reliable talent. They signed
cornerback Trey Brown, We've loed the third highest passer Rayment
targeted last season. Sandren addressed wide receiving cornerback with veteran signings,
suggesting they look strongly for trench players in the upcoming draft.
Is lean towards the defensive line as their first selection,

(03:17):
showing they do quite often and it's available at more
than two to one odds on most sportsbooks. Some high
end prospects that fit the Niners needs the most include
Ole miss defensive tackle, Walter Nolan defensive tackle Samar Stewart
from Texas A and M Texas A and M Edge
Nick scoretoon tennis edge, James Pearce cornerbacks Maxwell Harrison from
Kentucky and Michigan's Will Johnson, text offensive lineman Calvin Banks,

(03:40):
Oregon tackle Josh Connolly, Ohio State tackle Josh Simmons, and
Missouri tackle armand Membu. Before I get to the next
two teams and you talk about the Fantasy Pros Dynasty

Now back to the show, the Seattle Seahawks. Coming as
a surprise to not really anybody, The Seahawks need to

(04:21):
improve their deior offensive line after chrudging out a bottom
ten graded unit per PFF twenty twenty four. Tackles I'll
be when healthy are solid, but the interior leaves a
lot to be desired. Both tackles are entering the final
years of their deals, although Charles Cross has the fifth
year option available. Regardless, if Seattle wants Sam Darnold to succeed,

(04:41):
they need to provide him with a solid protection up front.
Their favorite just looking off to the linement across most
sportsbooks with their first pick in the draft, and I
very much agree. Seattle GM John Snyder also said this
offseason that we've got to be able to get speed
on defense. And be able to run the ball and
get our identity. We want to be able to run
the ball whenever we're playing. Having that physical run game

(05:01):
gets the defense rocking too. South Carolina safety nick Eamon
Worrie has met with Seattle multiple times during the predraft process,
and boy, that guy can fly on the defensive side
of the football. Safety Kobe Bryant is in the last
year of his rookie contract, and Rashawn Jenkins remains unsigned
at the time of this recording. Other prospects that Seattle
has been tied to across the offensive line include Donovan

(05:22):
Jackson from Ohio State, senator Jared Wilson from Georgia, and
William and Mary's offensive tackle Charles Grant. Los Angeles Rams.
The Rams cornerbacks have been treading above water for seemingly
the last two seasons. Los Angeles would be smartd to
get ahead of these potential secondary issues after they finished
fifth worst and yards were attempt faced in twenty twenty four.

(05:42):
Cornerback of Keller Witherspoon returning after not getting much attention
to free agency, It's not going to be a major
needle mover for this team, although it could move them
away from cornerback in round one of this year's draft.
They're currently favored in the betting market to go in
that direction with cornerback as their first draft pick, but
I think they'll more on the offensive side, specifically the

(06:03):
offensive line. The team re signed offensive tackle Erleck Jackson
and center Coleman Shelton during freegency, but right tackle Rob
Habnstein is in the last year of his contract at
age thirty three, and the team has no contingency plans
at tackle for the future. The rams current tight end
room consists of Tyler Higbee, Kobe Parkinson, and Davis Allen.
Higgby is thirty two years old in the last year

(06:24):
of his contract. The Rams were in the running for
Brock Bauers last year, so don't be shocked if they
look to add a dynamic pass catcher at the tight
end position in the NFL draft. I also believe the
Rams are looking to groom a successor for Matthew Stafford
an under center, whichim Mangaroppolo slotted in as a short
term quarterback too. Texas quarterback Queen Youwers could be very
much that developmental quarterback prospect. Sean McVay looks to Mold.

(06:46):
Other top prospects the Rams could draft. The positions of
need include tightend Tyler Warren from Penn State, offensive tackle
Josh Shimmons from Ohio State Office to tackle, Calvin Banks
from Texas officely tackle, Josh Connolly from Oregon, quarterback Tree
Amos from Old Miss, and cornerback Azaria Thomas from FSU
SO To recap, the NFC West team needs Arizona Cardinals

(07:07):
offensive line, cornerback, edge, defensive tackle, and wide receiver. San
Francisco forty nine Ers defensive tackle, edge, offensive line, cornerback,
Seattle Seahawks interier offensive line, edge, safety, defensive tackle, wide receiver,
and Los Angeles Rams cornerback, offensive tackle, tight end, quarterback,
and linebacker. Those are the top team needs for the

(07:29):
NFC West ahead of the twenty twenty five NFL Draft.
