Speaker 1 (00:03):
Welcome back, Fantasy Pros. NFL Draft season never sleeps here
on the channel, and neither do I, because now we're
breaking down the AFC South, part six of our Team
Needs series, going division by division, breaking down all the
team needs ahead of the twenty twenty five NFL Draft.
But before I get to my list of team needs,

(00:24):
who want a chance to win a sign DeAndre Swift
bears jersey for free courtesy of our friends at Pristineauction
dot com. I always to do subscribe to the Fantasy
Pros YouTube channel right now. Jop will come up below
any Fantasy Pros Dynasty podcast video and that's it denouncing
a winner writing on the podcast. Just make sure to
turn those notifications so you can no renuve it as
are up and to claim your prize. It's not waste

(00:44):
any more time. Let's get right into the need for
the AFC South teams. Open things up with the Tennessee Titans.
Will Levis. It's not the long term answer at quarterback
for Tennessee. Therefore, the Titans are back in the quarterback market.
It's an area they're expected to a draft with the
first pick overall in the NFL Draft, with the most
likely outcome being Miami quarterback cam Ward as the one

(01:08):
oh one. Keep in mind that during free agency the
Titans elected not to bring back Mason Rudolph, who ended
up signing with Steelers, and they opted for Brandon Allen
and Tim Boyle instead. Clearly, they have to get a
rookie quarterback and that guy is going to be most
likely cam Ward. Head coach Brian Callahan had blatantly stated
at the start of the off season that they needed
to add another offensive tackle and improve the right guard spot.

(01:29):
Kevin Zeitler signed with the Titans in free agency to
improve the guard spot on a one year deal. They
also signed Dan Moore, who started at left tackle for
Pittsburgh over the last four years, to a lucrative four year,
eighty two million dollar contract. With more at left tackle,
they could shift last year's first round pick Jacon Latham
back to right tackle. Calvin Ridley is the only notable
remaining wide receiver left under contract on the roster. Van

(01:53):
Jefferson was signed to a one year deal. Dick Westbrookokine
depart in free agency to the Miami Dolphins. The Titans
posted the fourth worst PFF pass rush grade last year
and Harold Landry is now with the Patriots after he
led the team in sacks in twenty twenty four. New
GM Mike Borgonzi has spoken at length by addressing both
the offensive line and defensive line in offseason pressers. After quarterback,

(02:15):
the Titans' second shortest odds at first position to draft
are at defensive line in edge, the Titans also need
to address the traditional off the ball linebacker position and
cornerback position after the loss of Kenneth Murray and Cherdobia Ouzier.
Linebacker Cody Barton signed with the Titans as a replacement,
but Uzii is projectedly replaced by two twenty four fifth
round pick Jarvis Brownlee Junior. Unfortunately for the Titans, they

(02:37):
don't have a third round pick this year after Lugerius
sneed trade last season. They also have two fourth round picks,
presuming they go quarterback in run one. Some of the
player options that you consider at positions of need on
Day two include Ed Rusher from UCLA Olofma Oladejo, Missouri
wide receiver Luther Burdon, Texas wide receiver Isaiah Bond, the

(02:57):
Washington State wide receiver Kyle Williams. Interesting about Kyle Williams.
He actually played under the current Titans office accordinator Nickols
at UNLV, and he also played with cam Ward at
Washington State in twenty twenty three. I else think tight
end might be another low key position of need. I'd
say I do like the combination of Chickagongo and Josh
Wiley more than most. Although Conco is in the last

(03:19):
year of his rookie contract, he finished the season strong
his last three games played. He could be a sneaky
fantasy tight end without much receiving competition elsewhere on the roster.
Jacksonville Jaguars. The new Jags GM James Gladstone noted during
his NFL combine press conference that he wants to prioritize
the offensive and defensive fronts in addition to points scorers
as their top targets. He also mentioned that address the

(03:41):
interior of the otsive line is important to protect Trever
Lawrence and that the running back class is very deep.
Look travesse Ytn is the filing year of his deal.
Tank Bigody had his moments last season, but fizzled out
down the stretch. Don't be shocked to see rookie running
back and joined this backfield. Kansas State's st. J Giddens,
Organs Jordan James, or Virginia Tech Michelle Touton could be
rookie running backs they look to draft now. The Jaguars

(04:04):
didn't make some improvements already to the interior of their
offensive line withouts of guard Patrick McCary along with center
Roberin Hazy, who will renite with Liam Cohne from their
time spent together in Tampa Bay. But despite having quality
edge rushers between Trayvon Walker and Josh Allen, I still
feel the Jaguars lack interior defensive push, Cohen said earlier
this offseason regarding the fifth overall pick, per the coach begindex,

(04:26):
we want to play physical defense. We want to play
a physical brand of football. We want to play good defense,
want to be fundamentally sound on special teams. But we
better go light that scoreboard up on offense. Given that
Michigan's defensive tackle Mason Graham should be available at fifth overall,
he makes a ton of sense for the Jaguars to
select as a perfect fit and best player available proposition. However,

(04:47):
they could go in another route with Georgia linebacker Jayalen Walker.
They believe he is the best defender available. The Jacks
are heavy favorites the draft defensive line slash edge with
their first pick in the draft, follow by O line,
which I don't necessarily agree with. Jacksonville secretary was also
terrible last year, allowing the most passing yards in the NFL.
The team needs to revamp their entire secondary under a
new defensive coordinator. Tysa Campbell serviceable, but another reliable CB

(05:11):
two across from it is much needed. Ronald Darby signed
with the Texans after his release. Jaguars added Cowboys slot
cornerback Jordan Lewis in free agency. They seemed to have
a lot of slot cornerbacks though on the roster between
Lewis and Jerry and Jones, which suggests they will still
look hard at a perimeter cornback in this year's draft. That,
along with safety Andrew Cisco is gone and Darnell Savage

(05:34):
is frankly just not good. PFS fifth lowest grade safety
in twenty twenty four, Texas safety Andrew mccoubu could be
a nice option on Day two. Christian Kirk and ev
and Ingram were both in the final years of their
contracts end up being salary capped casualties under the new regime.
During free agency, the Jaguars signed Deanny Brown at wide receiver.
They also added two more tight ends, Hunter Long and

(05:56):
Johnny Munt. Long is interesting because he has a connection
to the Jags new GM from their time spent together
with the Ramps. Somebody just keep tabs on in some
of these deep dynasty leagues, but with Brett's strange returning,
they probably are all set at tight end wide receiver
though lacks established step behind Brian Thomas Junior, Gabe Davis, Parker, Washington, etc.

(06:17):
Maybe the new regime likes these guys, or maybe they're
ready to move on. They should moved on from Ingram
and Kirk very quickly, so any incumbent not named BTJ
has no guarantees given out active Gladstone was in Jacksonville's
free agency period. By turning over the roster, I expect
the unexpected from Jacksonville in this year's draft. They have
six picks in the first four rounds, featuring two in

(06:38):
third round. Don't rule out George linebacker Jail the Walker
at fifth overall ninety to one odds for linebacker to
be their first draft selection or even as crazy as
it sounds. Boise State running back Ashton Genty, current running
back coach for the Jaguars. Chad Morton was a running
back coach for Seattle when they drafted fellow Mountain West
running back for Shad Penny in the first round back

(06:59):
in twenty eighteen. Four to one odds for the Jaguars
to select Genty. Let's have some fun, guys. But before
we get to the next two teams and have even
more fun, we got to talk about the Fantasy Pros
Dynasty Rookie Draft Simulator. Our draft simulator had to complete
a mock in just minutes with no waiting between picks.

Com slash sim you later. Now back to the show,
bringing us back with the Indianapolis Colts. As noted by
the athletics James Boyd New Indianapolis defensive coordinator lou Anarroumo
puts a lot of pressure on the back end of

(07:42):
his defense. Therefore, a centerfield safety is a must have
requirement for this defense. Cameron Bim was the ideal addition
to the safety room for the Vikings along with cornerback
Various Award, who's also another great addition at the cornerback spot,
but remains to be seen whether Nick Cross at safety
isn't the team's long term plans and the last year
of his contract. Another safety might be added to the draft,

(08:03):
so don't be surprised they pulled the trigger early with
somebody like Malchi Starks from Georgia. Even so, with the
back end on defense mostly improved through veterans, the Colts
have the shift gears towards offense in the draft. What
might help is actually drafting a threat at the tight
end position. Please Shane Steichen enough with the four man
tight end rotations. As I referenced in my AFC self

(08:25):
forecast written earlier this offseason, Colts GM Chris Ballard wants
a massive upgrade at tight end. They're going out a
receiving threat and they haven't done it so far. Through
free agency, so all that leaves is the draft or
potentially a trade. Doesn't take his genius to figure out
if they want to trade for. Somebody could be Dallas Goddard,
who has previous ties to Shane Steichen from their time

(08:46):
spent in Philly. The interior of the offensive line also
needs work. Given that center Ryan Kelly and Will Fries
are both gone. The two projected starting tackles will also
be free agents in twenty twenty six. Alabamas Tyler Booker
would be an ideal fit for the TI along with
Oregon's Josh Connelly. Offensive line and tight end headline the Colts'
primary needs, and that aligns exactly with what their favor

(09:07):
to do in the betting markets. Safety is also a
distant third option. Every mock draft has either Michigan's Colston
Loveland or Penn States Tyler Warren a link to the Colts,
and it'd be shocking if they don't go in that direction.
Should either be on the board and available when they
make their selection. I would say though l 's u's
Mason Taylor could be an alternative option in round two.
On the defensive line, they lost defensive tackle Rakwe Davis

(09:30):
and defensive end Diane o'dengbo, while adding next to nothing
in freegency other than defensive tackle Nevill Gallimore. It's a
very similar looking unit to last year's, although Odengbo is
a big loss given he led the Colts and defensive
snaps Sampson and bucham Is coming off a torn achilles.
Indianapolis finished twenty six in sacks and twenty second of
pressure rate last year. If the Colts wanted to make

(09:51):
a splash trade, they could try and attempt to trade
for Trey Hendrickson from the Bengals, given that former Bengals
DC is in the same position now for the Colts
to close out with the Houston Texans hot take, the
Texans still need to approve their offensive line. So far,
they've approached this retooling with an addition by subtraction mindset.
Throughout the off season, Jack Mason was released, Larrymy Tunsel

(10:14):
was traded to the Commanders, Ken Young Green was traded
to the Eagles. Houston has to find a way to
get the best five out there in their best spots
to succeed. That's where the Texans, due offensive coaching staff
along with new personnel, will hopefully come into play left guard.
Laken Tomlinson signed with the Texans in their first direct
moved in free agency to boost the offensive line. He

(10:36):
was a great last year in Seattle, but he has
some rapport with Demico Ryans from their time overlap in
San Francisco. They also added Zach Thomas on Day three
of free agency. He played for the Patriots in Texans
in tenty twenty four. He started the year in New
England at left guard before switching over to left tackle,
a traded for former Viking's guard Ingram. Ingram was benched
last year in Minnesota. They also made a slightly bigger

(10:57):
move across the offensive line by signing tackle Cam Robinson.
We played for Minnesota and Jacksonville last season. They also
signed tackle Trent Brown. But even after all these moves,
they are still listed at nearly minus two hundred to
draft and offensive linemen with their first draft pick by
the sports books. Because most of these moves are temporary
band aid fixes. They still need very much need long

(11:18):
term foundational pieces across the offensive line. Protect CJ's drought
at all costs. Texas Kelvin Banks would be a home
run pick late in round one. The offensive tackle entered
the year would potentially be a top five draft pick,
but he has seen his draft stock fall. Other offensive
line prospects that you consider include Alabamas Tallett Booker, Oregon's

(11:39):
Josh Connolly, North Dakota States Gray's Abel and Produce Marcus
bo Houston also has major questions marks behind Nagle Collins
at wide receiver. Take Dell is injured, Savan Diggs is
a Patriot. They added Christian Kirk for next to nothing
from the Jaguars with Dell likely on the shelf for
the most of the season, but Kirk is still just
on one year deal. Potential wide receiver draft tar markets

(12:00):
include Iowa State's Jalen Nole, Jadan Higgins, Ohio State's Amika Agbuka,
Illinois Pat Bryant to sues Jack Besh, Oregon's Tez Johnson,
Stay for wide receiver l km or and Washington State's
Kyle Williams Joe Mixon. He's got your twenty nine July,
he signed a three year, twenty seven million dollar contract
extension and include thirteen million guaranteed after he was traded

(12:21):
for last offseason. However, I'm a little hesitant to be
bullish on mix set again, Kevinna liked him because of
his situation projected workload last season. We're gonna see some
changes in the Texas offense INTELL twenty five, which could
negatively influence Mixon's fantasy output. He also doesn't out at
the end of his year, so he can be cut
for two million dollars compared to his ten point five
million dollars salary. Running Back two Damian Pierce may get

(12:42):
more off season hype and entering the final year of
his rookie contract. However, I'll wait to see this first
because the current coaching staff is fond of Mixon and
not Pierce. More likely he gets traded and featured in
this offense. Two. The twenty five running back is a
position that I think they're going to be addressed in
the draft given the depth of the class. Sleeper team
draft somebody like Texas running back Jade Blue, SMU running

(13:04):
back for Charrette Smith, USC running back Buddy Marx, Iowa
running back Kaleb Johnson, Virginia Tech running back Base Shall Tuton,
Ohio State running back Tradyon Henderson. Defensively, I think the
preset i'd say in tier defensive line is probably the
biggest area they could upgrade too, just based on the
current personnel. Florida State Joshua Palmer, Texas's Alfred Collins or
Toledos Daris Alexander would be good fits at defensive tackle.

(13:28):
As a rap on the team needs for the AFC South,
Tennessee Titans quarterback, wide receiver, edge, cornerback, Jacksonville Jaguars defensive tackle, cornerback, safety,
wide receiver, running back, and offensive tackle. Indianapolis Colts tight end,
offensive line, edge, defensive tackle, and safety. Houston Texans offensive line,

(13:48):
wide receiver, running back, and defensive tackle. Those are the
top team needs for the AFC South. Enjoy this video,
