our best. And tomorrow I work at five in the morning,
but they're gonna come visit me. She had her COVID
test today, so tomorrow you can set so nobody misses dad.
The kids haven't commented on missing dad. Yes we have.

friends are coming to visit, which I know she's excited about.
Serbs tennis partner is come to go. It's gonna come
visit Audrey and Kate, her sister, and they're gonna play tennis,
you know, at a tennis club here in Puerto Rico.
And I told Sabella she's gonna start tomorrow, as I said,
but I'll go and kick somebody. It's going to be fine.

It's awesome. Um, I'm very happy that my kids are here.
It makes it, It makes everything different. It's amazing. So, yeah,
it sounds like you guys been having a good time.
I've been solo. I've been chilling, super chill. Yeah. Let's see.
I wouldn't go to manicure pedicure, which I haven't done

think in sixteen years, I don't recall ever you're going
for a manicure pedicure maybe once in sixteen years. I'm
a little bit confused, as asked you, why now that
I'm away and the kids are away, you decided to

multiple times since we've been together. Yes, I have at

the same place that you go with Sabella where they
know me there, and I've had it done. And then
the entire time during the nail, the many petty, all
I could think about was the girl I forgot her
name already, m our guest that was on that did
the nail salon bit and Untela's Oh my god, so

spot on. There was an issue that happened with a
lady that did like the color. It was exactly like
her stand up. I was dying. I was like, oh
my god, this is the funniest thing ever, like a
great observations, like she crushes it with the accents unbelievable. Um.

Let's see, so I got a many petty. They said
you want polish. I said, no, no polished, You want
it buffed? I said no, I said, I just want
to have my beauticles cleaned up and snipped the nails.
Let's see that I did what I did last time.
I grabbed myself a cigar washed a little men's n
C double a tournament action out in the backyard. On
the backyard TV, used the jacuzzi, have myself a whiskey.

It was great. That was a nice evening, ordered myself
some sushi. It was like, yeah, it was. It was
a trip. It was like very very relaxing and quiet
um evening, slept in a little bit, not much, but
a little bit, and then yesterday watched a ton of tennis,

ton of the Miami Open, um ends more n C
Double A Action. It's been it's been like a bachelor's
a weekend. I guess you could say, well, no, I
missed my family, but it was a nice couple of days.
Now I'm starting to already get over it. And then
you know, hopefully, yeah, I need to come see you.
So hopefully as soon as I wrap, I can get

out there. Unfortunately, I think the kids won't you know,
we'll we'll be crossing. So hopefully my parents and my
mom and dummy can handle them here. But hopefully day

you take it back home. I don't want to get
into that. I talked about this already. Whatever. Um, so
it's been all right, it's been all right, that's all
been good. And what's weird? Is that so I don't

usually watch Let's jump into this for a second, because
obviously this is gonna be a topic on everybody's radar
all week long. I don't usually watch the Oscars that much.
I'm not that big of an I don't really care
about award shows. I watched them occasionally, but like I
get disinterested most of the time. You missed all the
action last night? What are the wackiest Awards shows? First off,
I gotta say that the female hosts want to Psykes

and Regina Hall and Um and Amy shop where they
were fantastic. They did a really a really great job.
Like I had no idea what to expect, Um and
I haven't seen many of them shures movies or stand
up and and want to say because I'm very familiar
with Regina Hall, I'm familiar with but like they were

(06:35):
really entertaining. I like them a lot. And coda by
far the supporting actor winning? Are you winning for Best Actor?
I'm sorry, did you win best Actor supporting? Because yeah, yeah,
how can I miss that? Up? He went for Supporting Actor,
which was by far the best moment of the entire night.

(06:55):
He signed because he signed his entire acceptance speech because
he's f and you go through this entire emotional at
least I did, from start to spit finish. I was
like super emotional watching this this you know man speak
about his opportunity of acting in the deaf theater, which
I didn't even know who's existed, and the chances they've

given him and supported him as an actor, and too
you know, applaud this director. He said, he you know,
read in the Spielberg book about the best directors are
the best communicators, and he basically said, you know, you
are the best director out there because you are by
far the best communicator ever. You've bridge the gap between
the deaf world and the hearing world. And it's so true.
Like the entire time, this guy's you know, going through

this biggest moment of his life and you realize he
can't hear anything that's going on, all the yelling, all
the clapping, on the screaming. You it just puts it
in perspective that, you know, that's his reality. And what
he signed was beautiful and funny and it was amazing.
Then came the show of the night. Let me see

something before you go to the show, because this is
amazing and this is a true story and this testament
of my friend uh Manum Mendosa of it as well.
I'm friend Eric. And now we have a project. I
had a project with my friend this director, writer, actor
from Venezuela, Madame Mendoza. It's a project called I Love
Miami to make the story short. Um this company, this

(08:26):
venture business venture that me and Eric have with capital
that amazing things are happening. Now we're gonna do an
adaptation of that show in English. It's gonna change dramatically
because an adaptation, so it's not the same thing that
I had. But in that original version, Eric Um one
of the characters it is this Puerto Rican guy that
lives in this count to Miami and his boyfriend is deaf.

(08:50):
So we were actually gonna have the opportunity to group yes,
to bring and not to bring uh that reality into television,
which is have a death fully deaf character because man
believes that that kind of inclusion is overdue, unso necessary.
And here we are now and he's been he wrote
this almost three years ago and I was like, oh
my god, it's it's incredible. I think it's amazing. We

pushed the envelope, and I think it's so timely and beautiful.
But I wonder if that works are going to go
for that, because it's a very it's it's a it's
a serious regular that it's gonna be deaf right now.
I don't know how they couldn't be accepting of it
would be the worst thing that most injustice they could
do for the community. I really hope. I actually love that.
I mean that's a separate idea, So I mean, I

(09:32):
don't know if we can use that character, but I
would love to have a character like that in the
new version. Yeah, so the gate Boy isn't amazing. So
I'm like blowing up brows and I'm center to this
vetting like four minute voice text trying to update her
on what happened last night. So you don't know exactly
what happened, but now you clearly know what happened. I'm
sure you've read plenty of social media. You've read some

things throughout the day. You know, Will Smith slapped the
out of Chris Rock because Chris Rock made a bad
joke about Jada Pink of being bald, which he's openly said,
I had no idea she had alopecia, which I myself
had no idea that she had that. I thought she
was just going for a look, which many women have done.

(10:15):
I had no idea at all about her condition, her situation. Okay,
do you think it warranted Will Smith's reaction and how
he handled it? No? Okay, we actually agree, We actually agree.

(10:35):
It was so absurd and I found myself struggling to
go to bed last night because I was so angry.
And listen, there's like a war on social media back
and forth about different opinions and like, you have no
idea what Jade is going through and how Will was
standing up for his wife and Dada, And I was like,
I have no problem with him standing up for his wife,

(10:58):
but he could have very easily stood up March backstage
and greeted Chris Rock the moment he came off the stage,
and there could have been an altercation backstage, There could
have been a whatever you want to call it. He
could have took him outside. I think it had a
conversation like grown as men who I'm sure they've known
each other and been friends for years. I would doubt
that they're not friends or friendly acquaintances. It was so

absurd to see two grown ass men on a stage
acting like they're in high school on the playground because
someone talks about their girlfriend or their wife. That yes,
it was a bad joke, but it didn't warrant an international,
you know, audience to witness a man walk on stage

(11:44):
and hit another man and then ruin the entire show
for everybody else that has to be there. I was
so uncomfortable watching the rest of the show because all
I could think about was how uncomfortable everybody was in
that room, and how everybody was being the best actor
they could be to act like the Knight's going to
go on normally, let me answer to something once he

(12:04):
want the oscar? How was that moment? That was the
other problem. That was the other problem when Will Smith
won the Oscar. This was the other huge missed opportunity.
And now he's come out publicly with a huge apology,
which to me feels like a massive, massive press move
by his whole team saying you've got to come out
and do something now, because now the Oscars have opened
an official investigation in what isogy? What is saying? It's

a whole like I apologize to you, Chris and violence
is never the answer, and this and this and this
and this, and it's like but with his speech was
to me, even Richard Williams has come out publicly saying
violence is not the answer. I would never condone anyone
hitting another individual. And what's sad is that this is

(12:51):
a huge moment for the Williams family and his speech
became completely twisted and how Richard Williams goal and mission
was always to protect his family, to be a fierce protector,
and that was not the speech will had been given.
Every single word choice been at now. His old speech
had been about how he is engulfed this this relationship,

about being a fierce protector of his family. He called,
you know, I'll read, uh, I'm seeing our producers what
what will Smith's recent um apology was, which I have
in front of me too. But he's saying that he
was a fierce protector, which was such bs like I'm
just sitting here going you blew it man, like this

is a huge moment, huge moment, and you got that
ruffled to march on stage. He could have just taken
the microphone and said some things in the microphone like
you know, my wife's dealing with anything else, but he
hit the guy. But still he should not have gone
up there in the middle of you know, best documentaries
about to be announced, and now these people have to
deal with what just happened and overshadow their moment of

all this years of work. Oh, I couldn't sleep last night.
I was so uncomfortable from it. Listen, there's a I
I didn't see it, so I don't know. I don't
I'm sure he's uncomfortable. I don't agree with what he did.
I think that whether it was a good joke or
a bad joke, whether clearly I believe that Chris Rock

(14:17):
would have known that Jada is dealing with alopecia, and
she is has issues with it, you know, and she's
been open about it, and it's it's no fun for
no woman at all old men to suffer from from
that condition. If Chris would have known, there's no there's
no way in hell that would he would have said
anything about it. So let's assume you didn't know, and

not to mention. By the way, Rose and tell me
if I'm wrong. You've been a part of these big
shows and big productions. You can't tell me that will
packer all these other producers that were first time Will
Packers produced the oscars. Everybody has to have seen that joke.
That wasn't a joke. I think he just pulled off
the top of his head. Maybe it was, but I'm
assuming it was on the prompter. Of course he's not. No,
he's not. He's not a host of the show, so

he hasn't been rehearsing anything. It was just presenting something. Yeah,
it's scripted exactly. I mean, everybody had seen it. I know, well,
not necessarily the producers of the show had seen that joke. No,
because you have to understand that that nobody knows. Nobody
knew that Jada was going to come in at the
red carpet and have a bald head, you know. I mean,

(15:20):
when when things are written, they don't write them on
the spot on that day. This script is written for
a while. She's been bald, she's had a bald head
for a while. This isn't the first time she's come
out publicly with a bald head. I don't know. Yeah,
I don't know. I'm possible. Now I can guarantee you well,
I can guarantee you that was not a wreaking joke.
I can guarantee you that's something that Chris Rock thought
he was funny, and thank he was. He's a comedian,
he improvises, he does his own material. He probably added

that thinking that it was actually funny, having zero idea
of the repercussions. Then what happens. They took it wrong,
which I understand. It's not a fun condition. I'm sure
it's been life changing for Jada and and listen. But
the way that he reacted, well, even though listen, there's
a part of the loves that he's fiercely protecting his wife.

I think that's fabulous. Not like that, but I think
that's great. I think that's great. It is great to
protect your family, but not like that. Not yes, not
like that. I think he had plenty of time to
do it afterwards. It could have been handled different, And
I agree with you. This sad thing is that these
oscars have become for the rest of history, it's going

to be the slap slap, He's the best slapter, this slap,
the slap after slap whatever. Instead of the first time
that death uh Man wins an oscar first time at
the end of the boss. You know the other Puerto
Rican that follow on Rhythom on the Footstep and Afro
Latino wins for the first time. And everything's been talking

(16:48):
about this Smith apology and you tell me if you
don't tell me. So here's the issue I have with this.
He came out now it's like four o'clock. It came
out or something. Right. He was seen last night at
the Vanity Fair party dancing partying Oscar in hand. No remorse,
are you sure? Yeah, there's video everywhere online if I'm
dancing to get in jiggy with it at the Vanity

(17:09):
Fair party. His son came out publicly and said that's
how we do it, defending his dad's actions. He never
apologized to Chris ever in his acceptance speech, just the
Academy hoping they'd invite him back. Now the Academy is
open an investigation that they could strip him of his
doctor Oscar because of the conduct policy. Right, His apology

(17:29):
now is I don't condore violence. Is in all forms
is poisonous and destructive. My behavior last night the Academy
was unacceptably excusable. Um jokes at my expensive part of
the job. Even when he goes, I don't want to
go into the whole thing. I would like to publicly
apologize to you, Chris. I was out of line and
I was wrong. I'm embarrassed by my actions were not
indicative of the man I want to be. All of

that's good, but it should have come out this morning. Okay,
well let's not George eric I get right. But listen, No,
it's gonna come out when when when he feels this right,
you know, I'm gonna see something. Yeah, he wanted a
vanity fair thing. He celebrated ship. He just wanted to
ask her he did. It's it's it's it's a huge accomplishment.
I can guarantee you. Even though he's dancing in on

the inside, he knows this terrible consequences. Yes, so you
know what, Yeah, he has a whole team of people.
They're trying to see how it's the best way to
handle it. Blah blah blah. It takes some time. You know,
there's a there's a there's a bunch of people. There's
a list of people behind him that are trying to
figure out what's the ways the best course of action.
Forget about what time the pology came out. The important

thing is that the apology came the thing is the narrative.
All day would have been different had this apology came
out first thing in the morning. Okay, but it did.
And like I said, because there's a lot of people
commenting and telling what how do we do? Let's do
a fresh release. It has to be proved, it has
to be corrected. What do you think? You know? I
can guarantee you there's nothing fun about what that family

is going through right now about forget about the kids,
the tools saying this is how we do it. It's
just there's emotions that come out in the moment because
they want to overcompense it and they're protecting daddy. But
I can guarantee your Wheelsmith seems to be a really
good person. Supposed to be a great guy, I know.
So you know what, he made a mistake. It was awful.
It was disgusting, but I'm sure he is regretful. Man.

It was so sad. It was so sad. The best
thing that can would you if somebody were the oscars
and so I show up with with whatever and somebody
says something about your wife that I know it hurts me,
What would you have done? I would definitely not have

done that. Um, if I see something that hurts you, yeah,
I'm sorry. I would have if it was something that
really would have bothered you to the point that it
hurts I have a condition. It's a disease. It's it's
it's a it's a health issue on somebody makes fun

of it. But a disease. You're not dying, not dying disease,
it's a it's a disease that's very uncomfortable for an individual.
I a condition. I would have I would have if
I saw that this was something that really irked you
that badly and also bothered me that By the way,
Will Smith was laughing when the joke was made. That's
what's funny. You see the joke maze. You see Will
Smith laughing. Then you see him turned to Jada, and

Jada is like not having it, and then all of
a sudden you see a dying like it switches in
his head like, oh, I gotta do something. My wife's angry,
So you'd have to, which it's happened to me in
the past. I could see and I could see myself
getting fire inside. But I would probably have confronted that
person after the fact, and so like that's that's not
cool man, what you just did. Like that, you're talking

about somebody who's going through a serious issue, who's going
through something, and you did that on internet, you know,
international television, and then you would and I would have
chewed that person out whatever way, shape or form, and
then you could have used that even as a platform
to elevate the topic and be there for people who
are dealing with such a such an issue. Some people
made a comment like, do you think if it was
day of Chappelle up on stage he would have done

the same thing of Chappelle to hit him back. Chris
Rock handed himself so professionally it was insane. The only
thing I'm gonna say that came out of that was
the quote by Denzel Washington to Will Smith and he

told Will Smith, at your highest moment, be careful. The
devil comes after you. Absolutely, And I was like, wow,
that was the best thing that came out of that. Absolutely,
And that's probably what happened. You know what, when you
have people, though not people, when you have the devil,
he constantly wants to check you to make sure that

that you're gonna be all that, you know, because it
bothers him. It's so sad. It's so sad. Listen, let
me tell you something all right. Next, so question before
we go to the next topic. So West Side Story
at the end of the Boss one, what else is
west Story win? I don't none of the other major ones.
I think Best Director went Dr Coda. The seven nominations
that I have, I don't. I don't remember all. I

I know they didn't win Best Picture, that was Code.
I think Best Director was koda Um. Best Actor was
not in their Best Actress was or is that supporting actress?

I didn't think he was gonna win that one. That's amazing. Yeah.
And I also thought Encounter was gonna win the song

and it didn't. Billie Eilish were bond No, yeah, which
I thought that was a big upset. Oh my god,
Oh come on, what pure water? Did you see that?
Linn Manuel couldn't go because no, he was exposed. I
don't know why. I don't know who he was exposed.

I think the wife had it and he was exposed

go off the oscars for a second, because let's just

first n f T s yesterday, which we've been talking
about here in the past, and I have taken so
much heat for buying an n f TI. A couple

of people talking and it was there wasn't a good
handful on Twitter and on Instagram. And I'm so confused.
I want to know proof. Do our n f T
s what's supposed to be bad for the environment or
it's crypto? I know crypto is bad for the environment.
Or is it that the actual making of an n
f T is supposed to be bad for the environment.
Or is it the crypto used to buy the n
f T. I don't know. That's a good question. It's

funny because I just emailed somebody yesterday saying, listen, um,
you know that you got your first n f T.
I got my first nft We're so excited. You posted
I haven't, but I will. And I saw that you
told me, Oh my god, I'm freaking out because some
people are so against it and they're like talking all
these things. And I email my first and when I said,
you know what I need to I need a very clear,
um simple explanation of what is happening. How why are

n f t s and cryptals so bad in the environment.
And I need to be able to I don't away
have a comeback, because that's not the point. I don't
want to prove people wrong and I'm right because of whatever,
especially about n f t s and crypto. I don't
know about it, um, but I want to make sure that,
for one, we're not doing something that that is detrimental
to the environment. And to um, this is the way

of the future, and n f t s are going nowhere.
They're gonna keep growing and growing and growing. It's taking
over Hollywood, It's gonna take over the world. And clearly
there's an issue with the environment because of the components
of an n f T of crypto. I want to
know how to reply back to the people that are
putting back. I just I just googled this is basically
n f t s and why why are the issue

so it's it's the n f T s use the
entire network to support n f T s, which is
basically using um ethereum to buy the n f T s,
which is a cryptocurrency. It's all being supported by the
use of energy, right and you pay these things called
gas fees um. The system incentivizes minors to invest in

more hardware that requires even more power from the grid.
Power sources that admit greenhouse gases negatively impact the environment.
So it's not the n f T per se, it's
the process of buying the n f T which is
using crypto ethereum, which is because you're buying n f
T s, you're driving more and more crypto and you're

you're pushing crypto further along. Which this is what blows
my mind because I saw a release that President Biden
was talking about the first ever US crypto currency being started.
It's taking over the world. Everything is going to be
a crypto. So basically is human are human beings definitely
destroyed the planet of the issue? This what's crazy? What

jet always a Gen Z, Millennials, whatever, whoever? You know,
this younger generation that has invented crypto is the same
generation that is fighting for climate change in fighting for
a healthier environment. It's all very confusing, so we need
to do more research about it. This is what I know.
It's not gonna go anywhere. This year is gonna keep
growing like a freaking snowball going down the hill. It's

it's gonna be it's insane. But for sure, I don't
want to be involved with something that it's going to
continue to train the planet, you know. But at the
same time, it's the way of the future. So basically
there's a disconnect, is what I'm trying to say. There's
a disconnect. I just want to know because I don't
want to miss the boat. At the same time, I
don't want to do something that is negative. But at

the same time, it's like I'm very confused, Like you
don't think that things if if, if this was a
real real issue. People behind the creators of this whole
crypto whatever whatever, you don't think that they did there
were not two steps ahead knowing that there was gonna
be a big pushback because of that, and they haven't
had a new way of doing things, a new process.

The irony is, it's like I said about the millennials
or you know, whoever inventing crypto, all that that the
younger generation was fighting climate change. The same people. This
was a joke that's already made. The same people buying
crypto are the same same ones buying Tesla's. They're buying
Tesla's to go electric and save the environment. However, they're
buying crypto, which is hurting the environment. So so what's

right and wrong? I'm so confused. He's very confusing. Anyways,
I it's exciting. I have my first end of tea
and I love it. And I have another one that's
some fabulous creative made for me. At some point I
want to show you guys when it's ready and it's

to learn more about how it's affecting. We have to
