Speaker 1 (00:00):
Wow, I ambarrassed. Hey everyone, we're back with another episode
of I Am Paris. Today's interview is with someone who's
very special to me, my best friend, my other half,

(00:21):
my entire life. This is Nicki Hilton Rothschild.

Speaker 2 (00:26):
Hi, Nikki, Hi book today.

Speaker 3 (00:30):
You look like you're giving me Sarah Faucet Charlie's Angels vibes.

Speaker 1 (00:34):
Thank you, Yeah, yeah, iconic. I was inspired by you.

Speaker 2 (00:41):
It was dressed to stand the test of time.

Speaker 3 (00:45):
I just like whipped a twenty year old one out
the other day and it just works.

Speaker 1 (00:50):
It really does.

Speaker 2 (00:51):
I know.

Speaker 1 (00:51):
They're just so classic and just so many memories of
me and you growing up together. I feel like I
always wore these dresses and the matching one always to
like since we're teenagers. So today we're going to be
talking about the past and since we've known each other
our whole lives and know everything about each other. I

(01:12):
have gathered fan questions for Nicki for my amazing discord community,
and thank you guys so much for your questions and
anyone else who wants to join the discord. It's discord
dot com slash invite slash Paris Hilton, and it's so
much fun. And lots of exclusive content and then just
getting out the news to you guys first. So that's

(01:32):
where you can hear it all. So check it out.
All right, So here we go. These are fan questions
from my Discord community, and the first question is from
a bat down fps Nikki. What is your favorite piece
of clothing or accessory that you own?

Speaker 3 (01:51):
Favorite piece of jewelry James bought me and it is
this jeweler jar and it's a cat, my cat face
with whiskers and the blue crystal eyes and it's one

(02:13):
of a kind.

Speaker 2 (02:14):
And you know, I'm a crazy cat lady. It's so beautiful,
it's so.

Speaker 3 (02:18):
Unique, and I love it and I'm definitely packing it
for Paris.

Speaker 1 (02:23):
I love that bracelets so gorgeous. I remember we were
at some party or somewhere and you thought you lost
it and you were having like a panic attack. Yeah
where were we? Was here in Vegas or your house?
At my house? Okay? And you found it obviously because

(02:44):
you're bringing it in to Paris. Yes, okay. The next
question is from Sliver double o one. What is your
favorite holiday and holiday tradition?

Speaker 2 (02:58):
My favorite holiday.

Speaker 3 (03:00):
It's definitely Christmas, always has been, and now having young
children where that this holiday is just literally all about them.
We usually go to La and say at Mom and Dads,
and as you know better than anyone, it is literally

(03:24):
the North Pole there. I think she had like thirteen
Christmas treaties last year, and it's just there's Christmas music
playing at the house twenty four to seven, all the
cousins coming and playing. And this year they'll be even
more cousins.

Speaker 2 (03:45):
So it's gonna be really fun. I definitely want to
do Holiday Road again. We should do that.

Speaker 1 (03:50):
Oh I loved that. That was so cute. The kids
love that. Phoenix will love that.

Speaker 3 (03:57):
Let's definitely do Holiday Road. Let's do Disneyland.

Speaker 1 (04:01):
Yes, I can't wait to do Disneyland with Phoenix. It
was so cute.

Speaker 2 (04:07):
I didn't take my children until they were like five.

Speaker 1 (04:12):
Didn't I take them with you? For Teddy's birthday, her
fifth birthday.

Speaker 2 (04:18):
That was the first time they went. I just I
couldn't do it before. I don't know, too young.

Speaker 3 (04:28):
Yeah, like I remember it. They went at the perfect
age because they they got it. They went on every ride.

Speaker 2 (04:36):
I mean, I can't believe Billy Grace was.

Speaker 1 (04:38):
On Space Mountain, wasn't Teddy on Space Mountain too.

Speaker 2 (04:42):
Teddy was on Space Mountain too. I'm like five.

Speaker 1 (04:46):
I know.

Speaker 2 (04:47):
I don't Space Mountain until I was twenty years old.

Speaker 1 (04:51):
Yeah, and you were still scared of it, and.

Speaker 2 (04:53):
I'm still I'm still scared. Now.

Speaker 1 (04:55):
Did you go with us just now know you wouldn't
even go this time? Or did you on the ride?
I went twice? Oh yeah, I went twice. I love
that ride. It's so much fun. I can't wait for Christmas.
Carter and I were talking about it, and we want
to host like our first like family Christmas dinner and

(05:16):
just like have our whole families come and have our
chef cook like an amazing Christmas meal. And also I
was thinking about doing like a holiday party because they're
so fun.

Speaker 2 (05:28):
Are you going to stay in LA for Christmas?

Speaker 3 (05:32):
I feel like you've abandoned us the last few years
for Carter's family in Michigan.

Speaker 1 (05:39):
Yeah. I told him that this year where we have
to stay at home.

Speaker 2 (05:43):
Like.

Speaker 1 (05:44):
I love Michigan. It's really nice, but I feel like
we've missed every single Christmas in La whose I've either.
And then last year I was on our honeymoon and
we were in the Maldives at the water for Astoria.

Speaker 2 (05:58):
I literally have not spent Christmas in like five years.

Speaker 1 (06:01):
I know that we have to this year.

Speaker 2 (06:06):
So you're here this year, but I'm here this.

Speaker 1 (06:08):
Year for once.

Speaker 2 (06:12):
Planning. I know so much to plan, do a big
kids Christmas party.

Speaker 1 (06:18):
Mm hmm. I'm doing good, like the moon balanced and
some fun things. Yeah. So next questions two of them
from Dave to Sleigh. How do you plan to celebrate

(06:39):
Halloween this year?

Speaker 2 (06:41):
I have a home in Long Island and we usually
go there every Halloween. The kids I do, like.

Speaker 3 (06:51):
My girls are very excited about entering the Pet Halloween
costume contest, so they want to dress up me as
a bat. So we'll probably do that and just chill.
I think that Playboy Mansion Halloween days.

Speaker 2 (07:12):
Are behind me.

Speaker 1 (07:17):
They were so much fun though, Like, yeah, there was
nothing like those parties back in the day. I was
so sick. Those are the days. The two thousands were everything.

Speaker 2 (07:30):
To answer your question, I will be chilling in my
costume entering the local pet.

Speaker 1 (07:37):
Contest was dressed as a bat in the middle of
nowhere in the countryside. Yeah. Yes, long of the days
are gone at the Playboy Mansion and the after parties
mm hmm. Yes, I'm thinking of maybe having a Halloween

(07:58):
party like something small and fun. Well, they used to
be like a thousand people. I've grown up now, and
what are you going to be this year? Besides a
that Oh they're dress you up as about.

Speaker 3 (08:17):
My dog is big ears already?

Speaker 1 (08:22):
What's the dog's name Beyonni many? Oh?

Speaker 2 (08:28):
I don't know. I'm always something very easy, like a
cat Cattiers.

Speaker 3 (08:36):
There haven't been that imaginative the past few years. What's
Phoenix going to be for Halloween? But he can have
like thirty costumes like you?

Speaker 1 (08:45):
Yeah, not thirty, but I've been thinking of ideas ten close.
I think my first choice, which don't want to have
custom made, it will be me as Princess Peach, Carter
as Mario, and then Phoenix is like the little mushroom guy.
I don't know what his name is. I think that

(09:06):
was just so cute, like a little baby mushroom. So
that is one. Another one is the Incredibles that cute
like Superhero movie of all of us in the same
outfit costumes, I think so, and then like Dorothy as me,

(09:27):
and then the baby is the Lion, and then Carter
can be like the scarecrow and then asking you like
the flintstones like Wilma and Fred and Bam bam for
him can be cute. Okay, this is another question from Scoobs.

(09:51):
I love your new ballet flat line. Can you tell
me what's your favorite design from your collection with French Soul.

Speaker 3 (09:59):
I I'm obsessed with ballet flats and I always have been.
I think they're the perfect combination of comfort and elegance.

Speaker 2 (10:10):
It's so funny. They're having such a moment right now.
I noticed it when I.

Speaker 3 (10:14):
Was in Paris at Coutour Jon Batista Valli was showing
all of these catore gowns with jeweled ballet flats, and
even at New York ash and we Philip Limb, all
the big designers, everything's ballet flats, and I just think
they're so chic, easy, wearable day to night, and I

(10:39):
live in them. Son designing them came very, very natural.
My favorite is probably the Kathie, which is definitely.

Speaker 2 (10:50):
Our top sealar. It's just like the classic.

Speaker 3 (10:54):
Another flat we do it and all the neutral colors.
We released the fun hot pink one recently for the
Barbie Hysteria. But I have a lot of cute ones
coming out this fall in spring so cute.

Speaker 2 (11:13):
You always wear ballet flats.

Speaker 1 (11:15):
I always do. I love it. I love all of
the ones that you make, They're so cute, the ones
that the cat face on them. I love meal, I
love the parises, I love the Kathy's So question from Drew,
you too have such a close sisterly bond. My question
for Nikki is what are some of your favorite childhood

(11:37):
memories with Paris growing up?

Speaker 3 (11:41):
One of my favorite memories. I don't know if you
remember this as vividly as I do. It would be
Fridays after work when mom and dad would drive us
to Palm Springs and they would turn the back of
the station wagon into it, would flatten it and turn
it into a bed.

Speaker 2 (12:01):
We'd have like.

Speaker 3 (12:02):
Pillows, sleeping bags, stop at McDonald's, get halfy meals like
fall asleep, wake up you there, just have like the
best weekend.

Speaker 1 (12:12):
I remember that. I forgot about that until you just
reminded me. But that car was so hideous, but I
loved at the back of it. It was like the
brown station wagon. Yeah, just like old.

Speaker 2 (12:28):
School station wagons are really not cute.

Speaker 3 (12:32):
Mom, come you remember when we would stay at our grandparents'
house and steal the mini van we didn't have a
car and drive it around.

Speaker 2 (12:42):
Yes, literally, like pull up to clubs in the minivan.

Speaker 1 (12:49):
Yeah, with me driving the aunt. Question from Caitlin, how
do you usually choose clothes for important events?

Speaker 3 (13:04):
Well, I am very lucky that I have a lot
of good good friends who are very very talented fashion designers,
so I'm always like looking through their look books and
setting screenshots. I would say one of my favorites is
definitely Oscar Delaurenta. I'm actually gonna go for a fitting

(13:27):
next week there for my birthday dress. Yes, but for
like a special event. I love sparkles and glitter. I
basically just want.

Speaker 2 (13:42):
To look like a disco ball. I can relate a persachi,
a lord to the bmas so sick. I just like sparkles.

Speaker 1 (13:53):
Two, I'm obsessed with sparkles like I love Sarowsky crystals.
Like nothing shines like those.

Speaker 2 (14:00):
Mm hmmm.

Speaker 1 (14:00):
Just feel like a sparkling diamond princess walking around. Yeah.

Speaker 3 (14:06):
So, but I love the whole process, you know. I
always start with the dress and shoes and hair, the makeup, jewelry,
the bag.

Speaker 1 (14:20):
We should look and see like what looks we want
to bring to Paris. So I know we have so
many sick designers sending all the clothes for the shows,
but just for like walking around. It's just I'm excited
to get so many cute folks sister photos together.

Speaker 2 (14:38):
I'm excited.

Speaker 3 (14:39):
I brought my girls to Paris for their first time
over the summer, and we went to a lot of
places this summer. It was hands down their favorite favorite place.

Speaker 1 (14:50):
Did you go to the fair the Carnival?

Speaker 2 (14:54):
Yes?

Speaker 3 (14:55):
I was at the Carnival every day, twice a day
in the heat, dying. I wonder if do you think
it will still be open?

Speaker 1 (15:08):
I feel like it's year round.

Speaker 2 (15:09):
I love all the pastries, the crape and so good.

Speaker 1 (15:15):
A question from Lee she plays Please ask Nikki if
you two ever had to share a room as young girls,
who was the messiest. My sister used to always blame
me for the mess but then it was always her
stuff on the floor, not mine.

Speaker 3 (15:30):
I don't remember you being particularly messy, were you?

Speaker 2 (15:35):
I know you are now?

Speaker 3 (15:38):
Yes, you guy, desinitely have lots of pets and rodents
that would get loose in the room.

Speaker 2 (15:44):
And do you recall that.

Speaker 1 (15:46):
You weren't messy either. So I also went on x
which used to be Twitter, and ask them about to
interview my sister Nikki for my I Am Paris podcast.
What should I ask her? Ask her what she loves
the most about you? From House of Fiona.

Speaker 3 (16:06):
One of the things I admire most about you is
how unconventional you are and you just do what you
want to do. You don't follow trends, sort of march
to the beat of your own drum, which is very
very rare these days.

Speaker 1 (16:23):
Thank you, I'm an original.

Speaker 2 (16:28):
I don't call you the OGI for nothing true that.

Speaker 1 (16:32):
So this is from Rainbow Unicorn. If you could go
to a concert past or present, who would you see?

Speaker 2 (16:40):
I'd like to go to a cold Play concert. Me too,
never been to a cold Play show.

Speaker 1 (16:47):
I feel like I've seen them play in award shows,
but it's always like one song. But I've been seeing
some videos, like on Instagram of like one of their
shows somewhere, and it just looked so epic.

Speaker 3 (16:58):
Going to the BMA. Mom every performances like who is that?

Speaker 2 (17:03):
She didn't know anyone.

Speaker 1 (17:04):
Was so funny, She looked so hot, didn't she look good?

Speaker 3 (17:10):
Yeah, she was wearing some little cocktail dress. I was like, no,
you need to wear that else And Olivia cape, it's
so sick, Like, where else are you wearing a cape
besides the DMAs.

Speaker 1 (17:23):
She loves cape moments, so probably a lot of other places.

Speaker 2 (17:28):
No, but it was like huge lace cape. It was
perfect the event she looked it insane.

Speaker 1 (17:36):
Next one is from Tiffany Victoria. Does she think the
Princess would be a good name for your daughter?

Speaker 2 (17:47):
No? No, No, are you naming your daughter princess?

Speaker 1 (17:54):
No?

Speaker 2 (17:56):
What are you naming her?

Speaker 1 (17:57):
I feel like if you names one princess. It's just
kind of like kids are so mean in school, and
I feel like kids would be mean or it's just
like a lot to live up to. And I don't know.

Speaker 2 (18:10):
Kids were mean about my name Nikolai. Yeah, that's that's
why I had to abbreviate it to Nikki.

Speaker 3 (18:18):
They call me nikolar, call me it's a boy's name,
like torture me.

Speaker 2 (18:24):
I'm literally like, Mom, don't ever call me Nikolai.

Speaker 1 (18:29):
I remember, like, thanks, Mom, name one other one Nikolai.
I think it's a cool name now, but growing up,
kids are just mean in school sometimes they are about
the silliest time.

Speaker 3 (18:49):
I bet they're nicer now though a little bit. I
feel like everyone it's a little more conscious of it.
There's been so many like social justice movements and so
much it's spotlight on mental health.

Speaker 2 (19:08):
So I think I hope kay kids are a bit kinder.

Speaker 1 (19:16):
I hope so too. This one is what does she
think about your new song with Kim Petris all that
she wants?

Speaker 2 (19:23):
I just heard it. I love it. It's fun right,
that's hot one?

Speaker 1 (19:28):
Who loves hot One?

Speaker 2 (19:29):
Eddy? Really? Yeah? Did you play it to her in La?
I don't even know how she knows what it is.

Speaker 1 (19:35):
No, it doesn't, but maybe Carter did.

Speaker 2 (19:38):
He must have.

Speaker 1 (19:40):
Yeah. We had our nephew, Holden's fifth birthday at the
house two weekends ago, and Carter's friend's daughters came over,
who are like all like four and eight, and they
were like literally they had dances that they made to it,
and I'm like, oh my god, they're.

Speaker 2 (19:56):
Like four year olds.

Speaker 1 (19:57):
Yeah, like like, oh I forgot one. I'm like, oh,
oh my god. Repeating the lyrics. It was cute. This
is from Maggiomoto. If you were stranded on a magical
island for three years and could pick anyone to keep
your company, who would it be my husband?

Speaker 2 (20:17):
Yes, obviously, are you waiting for me to say you yeah,
my husband?

Speaker 1 (20:26):
Yes? Question from Jeremy Dolce, Nikki, when are you bringing
back the Lucky Number seven bags?

Speaker 3 (20:34):
That is very funny that you say that, Jeremy Dulce,
because I have been toying with the idea for quite
a bit. I feel like everyone loves a Y two
K throwback, and they were such cool bags.

Speaker 2 (20:51):
I think if I tweaked them a bit.

Speaker 3 (20:54):
Made them a little more sophisticated, and I'm into it,
noted Jeremy, noted they're iconic.

Speaker 1 (21:05):
They are A question from Martin Power what did she
think and feel when The Simple Life first aired?

Speaker 3 (21:12):
I mean, I thought it was sort of silly, these
girls running around a farm with high heels.

Speaker 2 (21:19):
So why was.

Speaker 3 (21:21):
To be perfectly honest, if it relieved that I had
not signed on to do it with you, But having
said that, loved it it was. It was a very
special moment in time and history and pop culture. I

(21:43):
see that clip sometimes people tag me of you packing
unpacking with you.

Speaker 1 (21:52):
So funny, so many memories.

Speaker 2 (21:57):
Yeah.

Speaker 1 (21:59):
This was the question from Natalie. Ask Nikki how she
juggles it all? What's a fashion trend she hopes makes
a come back, and a fashion trend that she hope doesn't.

Speaker 3 (22:09):
I like that bell bottoms and bootleg jeans are coming
back a bit. I feel like for the last decade
it's been all about the skinny genes and someone the
other days like skinny jeans are good.

Speaker 2 (22:21):
I still wear skinny jeans.

Speaker 1 (22:23):
I love them. I love both.

Speaker 2 (22:24):
But I love a bootlegg too. So excited to rock
that this fall change it up a bit, and a
trend I hope doesn't come back. H one trend that
I really don't like. And I know it's not a
popular opinion because everyone says, oh, they're so comfortable, but
Birkenstocks and.

Speaker 1 (22:45):
Some big designers are like making them know. And I
still can't even look at that.

Speaker 2 (22:49):
Oh yeah, thank you, Nikki.

Speaker 1 (22:52):
I had so much fun talking about the past with
you and asking all these questions. And stay tuned for
the next episode where we'll talk about the present. Love you.
