Speaker 1 (00:03):
Just wore the rosies on interns.

Speaker 2 (00:04):
John in your morning show, you are and what you
think is a happy, loving relationship, but then some things
happened to make you go, what else is actually going on?
We try to rip that bandy off for you. Trish,
Good morning, Good morning. Let's get into this a bit
of a hairy situation kind of. So you and Matt

(00:25):
are co workers.

Speaker 3 (00:26):
Correct, Yeah, we are.

Speaker 2 (00:28):
And so we've been seeing each other for about four months.
But how long have you guys actually known each other.

Speaker 4 (00:35):
We've known each other for about a year, I.

Speaker 2 (00:37):
Would say, okay, just through work or through other other areas.

Speaker 1 (00:43):
I just do work, okay.

Speaker 2 (00:45):
And so about four months ago, you guys started to
hang out. Who made that move?

Speaker 3 (00:51):
It was not he made the move, Okay.

Speaker 4 (00:53):
He was starting with me when he saw me, you know,
at work, and we yeah, we started kind.

Speaker 3 (01:00):
Of see each other four months ago.

Speaker 2 (01:02):
Sure, and then so it was like a month of
just kind of hanging but the last three months committed
a relationship. We had the talk boyfriend girlfriend.

Speaker 1 (01:12):
Yeah, okay.

Speaker 2 (01:14):
And the reason why I do War of the Rose
is so you say that he has been keeping things
kind of under wraps at work.

Speaker 1 (01:20):
Is that fair.

Speaker 3 (01:22):
Yeah, yeah, he has.

Speaker 2 (01:24):
I don't want to I'm not gonna I want to
say where you guys work, but let's just say it's
a certain financial institution near Tyson's Corner that has like
four giant buildings. Got so not exactly a mom pop shop,
and but we love that company. Ye love them like
that Ray one of the best places to work in
the country. So not exactly a small mom pop shop, right, Trish.

Speaker 3 (01:47):
Yeah, no, no, No, it's a pretty big company.

Speaker 1 (01:50):
Do you guys even work in the same building.

Speaker 3 (01:53):
No, we actually work in different buildings. Like we only
see we don't see each other that much, but we
bump into each other every so often.

Speaker 2 (02:00):
Okay, So that was my kind of question because you
mentioned that he wants to keep things under wraps at work,
which I would understand if you had an office of
like twenty people or even thirty people. But there's gotta
be thousands of people within that block. So I don't
mean this to be in a rude way. I would
imagine most of people that he interacts with probably don't

(02:24):
even know who you are, And I would assume most
people you interact with don't know who he is, just
because the company is so large.

Speaker 5 (02:29):
Is that fair?

Speaker 4 (02:31):
Yeah, So we do have a few mutual friends of
the company, and he's he's keeping.

Speaker 3 (02:36):
It underwrap even with them.

Speaker 4 (02:37):
So that's why I'm a little bit I'm confused why
he's doing it with them.

Speaker 2 (02:41):
Right, But I guess I'm saying, like, if Matt walked
on your floor at work, the majority of people on
that floor wouldn't look twice.

Speaker 1 (02:48):
They expect, oh, was somebody random guy here?

Speaker 3 (02:51):
Yeah?

Speaker 1 (02:51):
Okay, that's right.

Speaker 2 (02:52):
Okay, And so the kind of the reason you want
to do rose is is obviously not bring up a
work sure, but you mentioned even like work happy hours,
if he knows you're going, he won't go, or if
he's going, he'll tell you not to go.

Speaker 3 (03:05):
Yeah, that's true.

Speaker 4 (03:06):
He is being avoidant like altogether, like not only telling
or not telling anyone, but just sometimes even avoiding me
at work functions.

Speaker 2 (03:13):
Okay, I sure. Have you met any of his friends
and family outside of work?

Speaker 3 (03:22):
Not outside of work?

Speaker 6 (03:22):
Now?

Speaker 2 (03:23):
Okay, do you know if if his friends is a
family outside of work, know you exist.

Speaker 3 (03:29):
I actually don't.

Speaker 2 (03:31):
Okay, Yeah, No, I'm assuming your friends and family know
he exists. That He talked about the fact that you're
dating somebody.

Speaker 3 (03:37):
Yeah, yeah, okay, yeah, so let's see this.

Speaker 2 (03:41):
Let's have sauce call from the Flower company, off from
Roses clar less. You go to you, if they go
to you and put you in hold. If they don't,
we'll get some answers for you.

Speaker 3 (03:48):
Okay, so good, thank you.

Speaker 2 (03:51):
I give me about three minutes. Wore the Roses on
Intern John your morning show. It's wore the Roses on
Intern John and your morning show, Trish. Let me recap this.
You and Matt are coworkers. Been working together for about
a year. You guys started being intimate about four months ago,
started dating officially about three months ago. You guys work
at a fairly not fairly it's a gi armous financial

(04:16):
company whom we love in the Tysons Corner area that
has a whole campus basically like five large buildings. Yes,
so the situation is, yes, you guys are co workers. However,
it's such a big company you rarely see each other.
That being said, though, Matt wants to keep things under
wraps at work, so you don't really see him at

(04:36):
work functions, and if there's like a work happy hour,
a friends going out, he'll either not go or tell
you not to go. That's kind of correct, right, Yes,
that's correct. Do you guys go on actual dates? Like
do we go out to dinner or go to like
a Caps game or something like that, or is it
mainly you go over to his place or vice versa.

Speaker 4 (04:58):
We have fun out, you know, for dinner. Mostly it's
me going over to his place with him coming over
to mind, but we have gone out in public, like
you know, dinner, seeing a movie.

Speaker 2 (05:08):
Sure, So has that been fairly consistent the last couple
of months or has that dropped off since we started dating?

Speaker 3 (05:19):
You know what?

Speaker 4 (05:19):
Like recently there has been a little bit of distance,
which is why I look concerned, Like it was more,
it was more frequent earlier.

Speaker 2 (05:26):
So okay, and then I guess final question, just like curiosity,
who started working for the company first.

Speaker 3 (05:36):
Matt, he started working for the company first.

Speaker 2 (05:39):
And then I guess it's probably too big of a
company to know if he has a reputation, I'm.

Speaker 4 (05:42):
Assuming, right, Yeah, I mean we have mutual friends. They
haven't said anything alarming.

Speaker 5 (05:50):
I guess.

Speaker 2 (05:50):
Like at the same time, though, mutual friends that know
guess dating, so like why would they why they say something?

Speaker 1 (05:55):
Right?

Speaker 3 (05:57):
Yeah, yeah.

Speaker 1 (05:57):
Yeah, So let's do this.

Speaker 2 (06:01):
We'll have a sauce call from the flower company, off
from the roses. She'd go to you. Clearly they go
to you. We'll put them on holds, see what you
want to do. If they go to somebody else, that
will get some answers for you.

Speaker 3 (06:09):
Okay, that good, thank you.

Speaker 1 (06:12):
One second.

Speaker 2 (06:13):
I bet you they could have fifty thousand people on
that campus. I mean that's skyscrapers. There's like four or
five of them.

Speaker 6 (06:21):
Okay.

Speaker 1 (06:24):
Their kitchen's fantastic.

Speaker 6 (06:26):
They got cool stuff on those roofs.

Speaker 5 (06:32):
Hello.

Speaker 6 (06:32):
Hi, I'm calling from matt.

Speaker 3 (06:35):
Speaking Hi.

Speaker 7 (06:36):
My name is Darcy. I'm actually calling you from a
new local flower shop. We're called my Mess Flowers, trying
out something new for marketing where we're offering locals a
free bouquet of a dozen red roses just to get
our product out there, totally free.

Speaker 6 (06:48):
Don't need your credit card info?

Speaker 7 (06:49):
So can I get some info to see where you
want to send those flowers today?

Speaker 5 (06:54):
I'm sorry, I'm actually I'm very busy today. I don't
really have a lot of time for this. I'm sorry.

Speaker 6 (06:59):
No, we're do. We want to work for you.

Speaker 7 (07:00):
We just want to get our product out there so
that you actually come back support your local economy. And plus,
you know, my mom just opens this flower shop, so
it's her dream, and I know that you're gonna love
these flowers. She makes gorgeous bouquets, so totally free.

Speaker 5 (07:15):
How'd you get the information?

Speaker 7 (07:16):
I mean, we have this like Google marketing thing, so
I guess they just you sign up for something local
and they send this list. So your zip code is
our zip code. So I'm just kind of going down
the list. If you aren't interested, don't have anywhere you
want to send them, that's totally fine. I can move on,
but you would really be missing out on a you know,
opportunity to make somebody's day better. My mom makes gorgeous bouquets,

(07:37):
and I know you're gonna love them and come back.

Speaker 5 (07:41):
All right, Yeah sure, sure.

Speaker 6 (07:44):
Yeah, okay cool.

Speaker 7 (07:45):
So I'm gonna make you a little profile case you
do decide that you want to support your local economy
yms flowers. Like I said, so, what is the name
of the person that you want to send them to?

Speaker 5 (07:55):
Her name is Hannah?

Speaker 6 (07:56):
Hannah Like h a, n n ah, what right?

Speaker 5 (08:02):
Hello?

Speaker 3 (08:03):
Hello?

Speaker 5 (08:05):
Yeah, hello, Matt.

Speaker 4 (08:09):
You told me you were breaking up with Hannah went
like a while back.

Speaker 1 (08:14):
But what hold on? Okay, let's I dump most of that. Matt.

Speaker 2 (08:19):
My name's interns John. I got Sauce and Rose here
as well. Trish, you know who Hannah is.

Speaker 4 (08:28):
Yeah, Hannah's was was Matt's ex girlfriend. He said he
was breaking up with her.

Speaker 2 (08:32):
Well, let's pause for a second, just so we're on
the same page. When you started dating Matt, he had
a girlfriend.

Speaker 3 (08:39):
Yeah, he did have a girlfriend.

Speaker 1 (08:41):
Okay, do you know how long.

Speaker 4 (08:46):
He he he was going out with her for about
a year. I think he said he was okay, he
said with her, was going to break up for sure.

Speaker 2 (08:53):
Okay, okay, And so Matt, let let's turn you real quick.
So my name is intern John. I got Sauce Rose here.
We're doing war roses on the show. So, Matt, you
are cheating on your girlfriend of over a year with
a coworker.

Speaker 1 (09:09):
Not today.

Speaker 6 (09:10):
That's close to Easter, bro.

Speaker 5 (09:12):
Yeah, yeah, well it's it's close to Easter. I wasn't
going to break up with her yet. You know it's
the holiday.

Speaker 2 (09:19):
Okay, Wait, hold on, hold on, for four years? Have
you been dating Trace for four months? That has gonna
do with Eastern, my guy.

Speaker 5 (09:28):
Yeah, well, these things kind of take time, you know
that something?

Speaker 1 (09:32):
Yeah, two relationships? Wait, hold on, so Matt, I get it.
I'm a guy.

Speaker 2 (09:36):
You can't break up with there. So four months ago,
New Year's couldn't do it? Then No, New Year's Valentine's
Day couldn't do it. Then yeah, I love Saint Patrick's Day.
Couldn't do it?

Speaker 1 (09:45):
Then you gotta go out April fools. They couldn't do it.

Speaker 2 (09:47):
Then, now Eastern, we were going to try to do
it before the fourth of July? Or is that too
close of a holiday as well? I think Mother's Day
he would as well.

Speaker 1 (09:56):
Right, that's true.

Speaker 5 (09:59):
I don't know. I mean, I she's my girlfriend, guys,
you know, and.

Speaker 1 (10:03):
So okay, wait wait Matt, who's your girlfriend?

Speaker 5 (10:08):
Hannah is my girlfriend?

Speaker 1 (10:09):
And what is Trish?

Speaker 2 (10:10):
You huh?

Speaker 5 (10:13):
Someone that I've been kind of seeing?

Speaker 1 (10:17):
Okay, And so it's.

Speaker 2 (10:20):
Clear that Trish had an idea of Hannah. Does Hannah
know about Trish?

Speaker 5 (10:28):
I mean take that now?

Speaker 1 (10:30):
Okay.

Speaker 2 (10:31):
Do you think maybe your girlfriend over a year would
like to know that you're also sleeping with a coworker?

Speaker 6 (10:35):
Good question?

Speaker 5 (10:38):
Yeah, probably I'm sure she would. But there's been a
lot going on.

Speaker 2 (10:41):
Like I said, what's going on, I'm meant to tell
you I'm cheating.

Speaker 1 (10:45):
I've just been busy. Yeah, I'm meant to tell you this.

Speaker 2 (10:49):
You're not gonna believe this. And I actually been sleeping
with a coworker. You're finding funny one day.

Speaker 5 (10:54):
It's not an easy conversation I have.

Speaker 1 (10:57):
When I was easy, though, when I was easy.

Speaker 2 (10:59):
Matt, not cheating your girlfriend, it's fairly fairly it's fairly
easy not to do that.

Speaker 7 (11:06):
Yeah, sure, okay, I mean it sound like.

Speaker 3 (11:10):
He doesn't believe you.

Speaker 1 (11:10):
I'm telling you it's very possible to.

Speaker 6 (11:12):
I feel like he's just very comfortable with how life
is right now.

Speaker 1 (11:14):
Yeah you care? Yeah, okay, all right, Ray, well you
two have fun at work today.

Speaker 5 (11:19):
Okay, thinking this, you guys are ridiculous.

Speaker 3 (11:25):
I am.

Speaker 1 (11:25):
Okay, you've been too busy. Tell your girlfriend you've been
cheating the last four months. But we're ridiculous.
