Speaker 1 (00:04):
Hey, friends, it's mister Jim and welcome back to Kids
Animal Stories. Today's story, we are going back in time
to the time of dinosaurs. There are two friends, well
they're not exactly friends, but they will soon meet, Vinnie
and mister Wilson to unlikely creatures who are about to

(00:26):
go on an adventure together. Are you guys ready for
a dinosaur adventure?

Speaker 2 (00:31):
Me too. Let's go.

Speaker 1 (00:41):
A long, long time ago, in a faraway place lived Vinnie.
Vinnie was a ventana. Have you ever heard of a
ventana before me?

Speaker 2 (00:52):
Neither.

Speaker 1 (00:53):
He's kind of like a groundhog or a prairie dog,
or like a really big squirrel. And Vinnie, he is
pretty crazy like he had a lot of energy, and
he lived on a pretty small island in the middle
of an ocean that was surrounded by a lot of water.

(01:16):
And many of the creatures on the island did not
exactly like how much energy that Vinnie was zooming around
the island with some zoom.

Speaker 2 (01:27):
Oh boy, today's gonna be the greatest day ever.

Speaker 1 (01:30):
I'm gonna do. Oh maybe I could do a praying
on someone, or maybe uh I could build something. Oh
I love building something.

Speaker 2 (01:37):
Let's go.

Speaker 1 (01:39):
Vinnie had a lot of words to say and had
a hard time making a plan because his mind was
always changing. Well, today something crazy was about to happen.
What was that sound?

Speaker 2 (01:58):
Oh?

Speaker 1 (01:58):
Boy, was that a Was that a whale splashing his tail?
Or maybe he was an earthquake, or maybe.

Speaker 2 (02:03):
He was a meteor splashing into the ocean, or maybe
it was all get aunt.

Speaker 1 (02:08):
Vinnie had so many thoughts running through his mouth. I
gotta go ask someone what that crazy sound was. As
Vinnie zoomed off to go talk to a creature, he
found a pterodactylus. Pterodactylus is a family of dinosaurs that
have wings. Heard of pterodactyls, Yeah, they come in all

(02:29):
different shapes and sizes. Well, I guess yesterday Vinnie played
a prank on this pterodactyl and he was not very
happy about it.

Speaker 2 (02:39):
Vinnie, Oh, what do you want?

Speaker 3 (02:42):
I'm still picking all that sticky stuff out of my toes.

Speaker 2 (02:48):
Wasn't that so funny? Oh? Oh?

Speaker 1 (02:50):
But I had a question, said Vinnie, what was that
big sound over there?

Speaker 2 (02:56):
I heard a big skaboomy in the ocean, And.

Speaker 1 (03:00):
Where are you going?

Speaker 2 (03:01):
What are you doing?

Speaker 4 (03:03):
That sound was the sound of a very big underwater
explosion from a volcano.

Speaker 1 (03:12):
A volcano, shouted Vinnie, Oh.

Speaker 2 (03:16):
No, what's gonna happen? What's gonna happen?

Speaker 4 (03:19):
Well, as you see, I'm gonna fly away to a
safer place because this island is about to be consumed
by a giant wave.

Speaker 1 (03:30):
A giant wave.

Speaker 2 (03:32):
Oh I don't know how as well? Am I gonna
get out of your rule? Can you help me?

Speaker 3 (03:36):
I don't think so, you were. I can't handle the
pranks anymore, Vinnie. I gotta get out of here, gotta
go help my family. Best of luck to you. Vinnie,
and the pterodactyl flew off.

Speaker 2 (03:49):
Oh no, what's gonna happen?

Speaker 1 (03:51):
I need I need to make a raft? Oh yes, yes,
I can build a raft.

Speaker 2 (03:54):
Let's go.

Speaker 1 (03:57):
As Vinnie was running around the island, he didn't even
have time to really put a plan together. He was
just a little scared of the volcano, but also very
uh motivated to build this raft. He'd never built a
raft before, have you? Yeah, rafts are pretty cool things.

(04:17):
You need some things that can float. So what floats
on an island? Do rocks float? No? No, no, no, no,
no no? Uh? How about logs like tree logs? Yes, yeah,
that makes a really good raft. Vinnie started gathering as
many tree logs as he could, and now he needs

(04:40):
something to tie him together. What should he use? Hmmm, oh, yes,
there's all kinds of vines up there. Those vines will
be perfect. Hah. Vinnie raced up the tree and grabbed
a whole bunch of vines that would make perfect rope
to tie these trees together. What is old motion over there?

Speaker 2 (05:02):
Oh hey, mister Wilson.

Speaker 1 (05:04):
Oh, Vinnie. Mister Wilson was a spinosaurus who lived on
the island. He was a dinosaur with a very big
fin on his back, and his tail was pretty good
for swimming, so he was kind of like both a
land and a water dinosaur. He could do both, and

(05:25):
boy was he big. Oh Vinnie, what is going on?
What is all the commotion about? Oh ha, Hi, there
was did you? There was a really big sound that explosion,
and it was in an underwater volcano. And now there's
a big wave crashing towards the island and.

Speaker 2 (05:43):
We gotta get out of here as far as we can.

Speaker 1 (05:46):
You can't be serious. This must be another one of
your pranks again, Vinnie, said mister Wilson. Oh no way,
It's really not It's really not one of the pranks.
There's really, oh, really big of a wave coming closer
and closer. Vinnie tried as best as he could to

(06:08):
explain to mister Wilson that this was not a prank,
but he had pranked mister Wilson so many times, and
mister Wilson the spinos oars just did not believe him.
Vinnie continued working on his raft when all of a sudden,
the waves started to crash on the island. Vinnie could
see mister Wilson looking out into the ocean with a

(06:30):
cross look in his eyes. Vinnie, tell me again what happened. Oh, yes,
there was a big volcano explosion from underneath the ocean,
and it's creating some kind of yunami wave or I
don't know, a whole bunch of waves. And the teodactyl
he said that the whole island is gonna flood. We
gotta get out of here. Oh dear, I don't know

(06:52):
if I am strong enough right now to swim through
a giant storm. What are you doing over there? Well,
you see, I'm building a raft and the raft is
totally gonna get us out of here in time?

Speaker 2 (07:03):
Do you want to come?

Speaker 1 (07:05):
Oh, there's no way that I would go in a
raft with you, Vinnie, said mister Wilson. Vinnie finished his raft.
It looked amazing as he pushed it into the water. Ah,
it's floating.

Speaker 2 (07:17):
Look at this.

Speaker 1 (07:18):
Vinnie was so proud of his really good job of
building this off. In the distance, they could see the
giant wave approaching. Mister Wilson, you really gotta get out
of here fast. Look at that wave it's coming. Oh dear, Ugh,
do you think I could come on your raft? We

(07:39):
could maybe use my fin on my back as the
sail for the raft, because we gotta get out of
here fast. The wind is howling. It's almost like you
need a sailboat. Yes, yes, that would be great. Hop
on the raft and you can be our sail and
we can zoom out of here. Do a new island
just in time. Oh, oh dear, I can't believe that

(08:01):
I'm doing this, said mister Wilson. Oh no, are they
gonna be able to get off the island in time
before that giant wave comes? I don't know, but we'll
have to wait and see what happens. On the next
episode of Kids, animal stories. Great job, you listened all

(08:23):
the way to the end. Yeah, Vinnie the ventana he
is a little mammal creature that lived with dinosaurs. He
was a really excited little creature with a lot of energy, right, Yes,
And mister Wilson was a ginormous spinosaurus. That dinosaur was
one of the biggest, with a ginormous tail and a

(08:45):
big fin on his back. Wow. That would have been
a crazy creature to see in real life. Right. Well,
I can't believe that Vinnie and mister Wilson might actually
work together on the same raft. But I don't think
this is the end of that story, because I think
something crazy was about to happen on that raft. We'll
see you next time.

Speaker 2 (09:05):
Bye.
