Speaker 1 (00:02):
Blessed are the peacemakers, for they shall be called the
children of God. Matthew five nine. Dear Heavenly Father, you
are the ultimate peacemaker. When we were your enemies, you
called us friends and children united under your redemptive work.

(00:23):
Your aim is to bridge gaps between you and us,
us and each other, and within ourselves as your children.
I pray we would all emulate your character by being peacemakers.
As we are transformed by your grace and love. May

(00:44):
we continually extend the same to others in Jesus's name. Amen,
Thank you for joining me in prayer. Stay tuned for

Speaker 2 (01:08):
Welcome to your meditative prayer on healing relationships. To get
the most out of your spiritual journey, use pray dot
com every day and make prayer a priority.

Speaker 3 (01:19):
In your life.

Speaker 2 (01:21):
Our goal for today's meditative prayer is healing relationships. Take
a moment to relax. Find a comfortable and quiet setting,
a place where you can focus and can be completely
in this moment of self reflection, close your eyes, take
a deep breath, and exhale. Release the thoughts that are

(01:43):
floating around.

Speaker 3 (01:44):
In your mind.

Speaker 2 (01:45):
We will be meditating on Matthew five nine from the
King James version, which says, again, Blessed are the peacemakers,
for they shall be called the children of God. Now
take a moment to pour out your adoration to God
his daily blessings of peace. God, I praise you for
your peace which surpasses all understanding, Your peace that overcomes

(02:10):
all circumstances, all fears and doubts. Bring your peace to
my heart.

Speaker 3 (02:17):
God, calm my spirit.

Speaker 2 (02:20):
God, I worship you for giving me the ability to
be a peacemaker. I praise you for calling me your child.
I know that you love me and that you have
already provided a resolution to all.

Speaker 3 (02:35):
The conflict in my life. People can be unkind.

Speaker 2 (02:42):
Others may say and do things that will upset you,
things that.

Speaker 3 (02:47):
Will hurt your heart, break your trust.

Speaker 2 (02:50):
Some will even go out of their way to harm you,
create discord. There will be people in your life who
will steal your joy and peace, who will make being
a peacemaker seem impossible. And even though at times it
may be or seem difficult and daunting.

Speaker 3 (03:11):
It can still be done.

Speaker 2 (03:13):
You must remember the calling to live in peace and
God's blessing that comes with it. Let us, now, for
a moment, reflect on those relationships that need tending. To
think of those connections, those relationships that have been broken,

(03:34):
maybe a spouse, a child, friend, parrot, co worker, those
relationships that are suffering, the situations that seem impossible. Confess
to the Lord all your hurt, your anger, and your pain.

(03:57):
Let God into the areas of your heart where his
peace does not yet rain. Take a moment now to
dwell on previous blessings of peace that you've enjoyed. Blessings
from past relationships that were broken but God helped you
fix them. Think of the delight brought as a result

(04:18):
of peace. Recollect on past situations where you reached out
to turn.

Speaker 3 (04:25):
Anger into an agreement.

Speaker 2 (04:31):
Thank God for past resolutions and the fruits of growth
and joy from those relationships. Give thanks for the moments
free from the fear and hostility. Thank God for the
blessings of past peaceful, reconciled relationships and for those yet

(04:56):
to come. Thank Him for the courage and the boldness
to stand up for peace. And do not forget. God
is present, He is listening to you. Once again, bringing
to mind those connections, those relationships that you're struggling with.
Ask God for the ability to resolve those conflicts. God,

(05:21):
bring peace and reconciliation to those relationships. Mend old bridgism,
build new ones.

Speaker 3 (05:32):
Pray for peace in all your interactions.

Speaker 2 (05:36):
Peace with your family and your friendships, Peace with your
superiors at work, your colleagues. Peace in every area, every aspect,
in every relationship.

Speaker 3 (05:45):
In your life.

Speaker 2 (05:48):
Remember again God has called you to be a peacemaker.
You are to strive to bring peace where there is
discord and disagreement, to work towards living amicably an immunity
with everyone. The Bible says, as much as in you
is be at peace with all men. Peace can be

(06:10):
achieved though obedience to God's word and a desire to
bring harmony to all relationships. You can become a peacemaker
and be called a child of God. Thank you for
completing today's meditative prayer on pray dot com. By incorporating
this healthy habit into your daily practice, you are making

(06:32):
prayer a priority and I believe strengthening your walk with
God
