just one of over thirty three million small business owners
in the US who are following our dreams and creating
businesses that grow and thrive.

I'm Jinny's Torres, and we're the hosts of Mind the
Business Small Business success Stories, a podcast produced by iHeartMedia's

coming back with season three of the podcast.

In every episode, we talk with business owners about their
strategies for keeping their businesses growing and thriving. Strategies like
cutting through the clutter of the day to day with

This season, we're shining a light on the local businesses
in our hometowns of Nashville, Tennessee, and Tampa, Florida. We're
hitting the road and recording person at some of our
favorite small businesses and talking to the owners about the
ins and outs up and down to running a business
and making it right.

We'll speak with architects, event planners, physical therapists, boutique owners, pilates, instructors,
liquor importers and more about their experiences with everything from
preparing their businesses taxes to utilizing and integrating AI powered
technology efficiently.

We wanted to start a restaurant and we just kept
getting rejected by banks. We you know, turned over every
cushion in a couch, purchased a food truck and we
started to get awards. We started to be invited to
festivals and everything. And then that created the opportunity for
our first brick and mortar, which we call our first
neighborhood fried joint.

Speaker 4 (01:36):
And that's when our warehouse got hit by a tornado.
Oh that was the push. You know, this is the
second time in my life a natural disaster has impacted
me in that way. I hope that it doesn't always
take a natural disaster to do that. At any moment,
you can start fresh and change your mind.

Speaker 5 (01:53):
You had to understand yourself and you really want to
focus on what the business is doing. I know you
mentioned into it quick books and it's going to take
care of a lot of things for you. That's the
one thing you want to do is get us much
off of your plate so you can focus on how's
this going to run, How are my customers going to
feel when they're in there as opposed to and I
remember to put that proceed in. Get that all that
in the background, and focus on your main business.
