I don't. They never did it. Girls. She get one
boyfriend and she's so in low wit and all of
(01:55):

you cannot get I love you so much. Maybe seeing
you on Today's you really in love. I know. I'm
so happy, such a good guy. You know, girl being

should see me on her like she laying on me.
So you like my friend? Girl? I love a girl
friend right there, she's getting all the teacation. Know if
we're sharing randomly, turn it off. We're not talking. We're
not talking. Hell no, you turn it off. I'm popping
up wherever the last location? Yeah, well, I gator, but
(02:39):
when you met him, YEA, wouldn't think about the location.
Bullshit ship whatever, come to the light an we got
to look for it. Yeah, I do think it will
eventually come out. But my crazy ays don't be giving
me no location. I'll be looking every five minutes, said
she was here. I'm crazy. You never looked at it.
I'm single, just having a password. I got his password
(03:01):
and I never go through his phone. Oh that's when
i'm that you already know that man with ain't about ship.
You need to leave. But I don't say that man
about ship. So that's why my ass doesn't want I
don't want the password. I don't want you. I don't
(03:22):
want to. I don't know what's going on. Snoring on
the side, I'm not. That's because you gave him something,
put him to sleep, to go out through that phone,
she said, coming in coming top fing remember that. I
will say, well we could do that another episode, no
saying what. I've never been through my man's phone. But
(03:44):
I did send him a text like a long and
I was so I got in his phone to delete
the text before he read it. Why because that talks
to my therapist. She was like, delete that, don't send that.
You are dead wrong. Have you guys ever said the
wrong texting? Wrong person? You gotta play it all l
O l that was it for you or no? Like
(04:07):
if you be like, yeah, I can't staying her, but
you're talking about her, you'd be like, They're like h
you'd be like, you know the girl we were talking about,
like send me something in your mom will be like, who,
just say your stop you talking about you? Ever seen
a nude to the wrong person? Oh no, I ain't.
I don't even send news. Yeah, send dudes. I used
(04:30):
to send dudes, but she said she sends new Well,
I mean to my boyfriend. Now what I'm saying, I
used to send dudes face never in it. I don't
have no tattoos, so if my news need leaked, you
would never know it's me and I used to end
it up. Might as well have got my nudes off Google.
She said that ain't men The wrong text is annoying.
(04:52):
My mont used to be like, what in the world
you talking about? You? What? Then you got the league
knows you? Look look what a great I said, I'm
sorry fast, but yeah, we're about to get We're about
to bring up Jesse in a minute. Though you're excited.
(05:13):
I'm excited. I will hear. We're going to do some harmony.
Get it right, Keep me out of this. Okay, for
the love of God, keep me out of this. Let
me let's see what she coming out to be. Right
back you guys, let's go. Okay, welcome back, guys to
the Women of While Out podcast where we controve the bike.
(05:36):
We are going to bring in an amazing guest, Jesse Woo. Afternoon.
Now all time? What is it the East coast time?
About Miami? Yes, Miami. Well cheers, Okay, you gotta quote
(06:00):
right now, but not a not a quote, but you
know what, let's cheers to being women, right. I didn't
clan magnesium. So we were just talking about, Okay, if
your man turns off their location, what would you do.
(06:22):
I'm turning mind off to period. I'm cancer, I'm petty.
See I just got my location with my man and
I turned my life and he was like, oh, so
you in Vegas? I said, stop playing. Oh that's what
you meant. Okay, No, like your phone location? Oh you
guys turned that on? Yeah, me and my man share
our locations. That's good. I mean it's not. It's like
(06:43):
also to like, are you okay? I know where I'm
at all the time. Somebody needs to know my phone,
say I'm in an alley company a strong black man.
Are you at Yeah, I ain't you know man right
now to do that yet but not so close. But no,
(07:04):
God is the only one who know my location at
all times. Are you single? I'm sing I'm singular single,
more singular. That's how I used to feel. Yeah, I've
been single for three years. My last man was he
was a drug dealer? Was he? He was? We got
(07:24):
an upgrade? How do you I just turned thirty, Well,
I'm turning thirty one next in like two weeks before
we get into you know, the details of Jesse Man
being a judge everything all that, Let's who is Jesse like?
Everything down to I mean, we an't got that much
sound time to talk about. Um. I mean I will
(07:45):
say a lot of people met me from jokes on Instagram,
Like I did a lot of like Haitian centric jokes,
and those jokes came out of In seventeen, I literally
had moved from my and Me to New York. I
had just finished getting my master's degree, and I was like, okay,
(08:06):
like I'm going to try to figure it out in television.
And I actually moved to New York because I wanted
to link with Shelby. So why do I want to
link with Shelby Because in the previous year I was
a while not Girls season eight, season eight, like I
was trying to get in the mix, like what do
I need to do like that, I want to be
in television, and Shelby was one of the people who
(08:27):
I would talk to a lot on set. So I
remember one time she's like, well, you know, most of us,
like we're located in New York. So if you're ever
in New York, like you know, we can help you
get opportunities. So I held onto that and as soon
as I graduated, I put all my stuff. I literally
showed up at back. I was like, yeah, I live
here now. She's like, oh ship, you really came. I
(08:50):
was like whatzz and so yeah, but you quickly learned, okay,
like that's not how things world. So you know, I
was in New York just fighting for my life, really
like thank god my aunt let me stay with her,
and um, finding a job was really really it was
a lot. It was very hard because New York is
(09:12):
very competitive, a lot of educated you yes, fast, yeah,
So it was very very hard to find a job.
And I remember I finally found a job and I
wanted to be a communications recruiter. They were a recruiting company,
but they liked my personality so much and they were like, well,
you know what, we don't want you to be a recruiter,
(09:34):
yet we need somebody at the front desk. And I
was like, I have so much corporate experience, I don't
want to be sitting at the front desk. And they're like, oh,
just for six months, just a six months. So I
was like all right, And I sat there at the
front desk for six months, and once my six months
came up, I was like, yeah, so where my advancement?
And literally that's when they fired me. They were just
(09:57):
like a lot of people in the office don't lie cute,
and I was like why, And I'll never forget. There
were just experiences that I did have in that office.
It was predominantly a white office, and there were just
some experiences where I did voice my opinion and it
(10:17):
just wasn't taken well. There was one example as front desk.
Mind you, I'm at the front desk, but I'm not
just high Hey, I'm doing human resources work. I'm doing
a nine, I'm doing all your tax paperwork. I'm making
sure that you have all your your staff paperwork. Made
it six months, I would have been fired the first week.
(10:38):
So literally one of the same for me. One of
my test was listen, when you ain't got no when
you got no money, that there's no option to be
Like in New York, it cost ten dollars a day
just to breathe, so I had to make it do
what it do. So I remember one of my task
was ordering groceries for the office once a week, and
(10:58):
there was one girl who came up to me. It
was Thursday and she was like, oh, we don't have
any more milk. And I was like, well, you know,
I do the grocery list every Friday and it gets
delivered every Monday. She had been there for years, she
knows this, and she's like, yeah, but I need milk
right now. And I was like okay, and she was
like yeah, so go downstairs and go get me some milk.
(11:20):
And I was like, girl, yeah, so yeah, so I'll
just keep it. That's that was one of the instances,
and I felt like as a black girl, I was
seen as aggressive for having a certain response like girl,
this is not I'm not the maid and so she
(11:43):
was able to cry. And you know, and I'm not
able to be soft. I'm not able to have my
feelings hurt. And so anyway, long story short, they fired me.
So once they fired me, I was depressed, destruction, like
confusion everything. I had just got my first apartment and
like I said, it's ten dollars a day just to
breathe in New York City. So I don't know what
the hell I was gonna do. I was on unemployment,
(12:05):
I was on food Stamps, I was on government assistance
like everything I I did, and that's where the jokes
came in. I had a lot of time I was
in that apartment, and that's where all the stuff came in.
I'll never forget Darren Brand, who used to be on
the Show's the one who told so. He was one
who told me to start doing it. So then the
(12:26):
rest is history. Opportunity. Yeah, and I didn't know you
could sing, but on your Instagram not too long ago, girl,
I was like, Yo, she can below do you do music? Yeah?
I had a EP that I dropped two years ago.
My mom and my dad like they met in church singing,
like my dad was a minister slash drudging my dad,
(12:51):
you know he I mean he was serving the Word
in the morning and they're serving rocks at night. But yeah,
like they literally my mom was acquired to actor and
so they met in ministry. My my grandma had the
biggest Cocitian ministry in Montreal, Canada. That's where I was born.
So if you do stage hires used like in Montreal,
Like everybody still knows her to this day. She died,
(13:13):
but so literally that's how they met. My dad sings
like Teddy Penagrass. My mom she can sing her ass
off too, So that's I don't know where my daddy's
at right now, but uh, my mom, she's still she's great.
But like my dad, I went like ten years without
knowing where he was. I found him like two years
(13:33):
ago and then like, we just don't have a great relationship.
I didn't grow up with my dad in my life,
so yeah, we don't have a great relationship. And look
how you turned out successful? How are you going to
be you know, miling out the cast out girl? Yeah yeah,
I mean, let's talk about your experience as far as
you know, you auditioning, Um, so there was a lot
going on in the middle that. Yeah, I mean, I
(13:57):
you know, like in the Bible, God talked about like
how the first sholby last and the last shall be first,
and like that's one of my favorite passages. Because literally,
when I came in on season eight, like nobody knew
who I was, and I just was trying to buzz around,
and like Amber was one of the few people who
I connected with. I said, Darren Carlos Jordan's who wasn't
(14:20):
here this season because he got COVID, blessed his heart.
But those people really connected with me, and then they
encouraged me along the way. Um, so I think coming
back around this time, honestly, I was shell shock and
I think she was the dope. Thing about Nick. You
know again, um, even like you said, if we're not
(14:40):
even on stage, were still getting paid to be an audience,
it would have never been that on a regular I
know for him, it's probably like we it's COVID, it's
a pandemic. People, people pople been sitting people been sitting
around waiting on this show to happen. People, people you know,
And like I always say, I'm so humbled, but I'm
also I love Cortez. When I when I asked him,
(15:01):
I said, what do you do? What do you what
are you doing outside of the season. I work at
where Lobster? You feel me? And I asked him, he said,
my mom works at Walmart. You feel me so for me.
You know, when we leave wilding Out, people are blessed
to have shows, bookings, photo shoes, whatever. People like that.
People like Cortet, And I just pray that guy will
open doors for Cortet on just different ridiculousness, ridiculousness and
(15:23):
whatever little show that happened to stand up his host
and whatever he does so he could continue to keep
you know, um practicing, practicing his craft. Because once you
out of this wilding Out thing, you go back to
your regular life. Like it's real ship that people don't
understand wilding out. It's only a couple of weeks, and
we do a lot of work in a short amount
of time. After this three weeks, we go back to
(15:43):
our regular schedule, right back to the hustle. Yeah, you know,
some people don't understand. People don't understand. Things happen to
get canceled as a whole. Another flood that's coming in now.
She gotta get you know, canceled again, so we gotta
be prepared, but we also have to pay our minds too,
in our hearts. And my thing is to you, Jessie
who when it comes to your experience here on Wilding Out,
(16:06):
this is this only beginning for you. And when you
when we were talking yesterday, I was saying, you know,
you know about this show. Maybe has turned you down
or whatever it case, but you're here and I always
leave with a delay. Has never denied like you're gonna
have different shows and different talk shows and different things
that's gonna come your way. People are falling in love
with black women's sexy chocolate women, you know, and it's
(16:28):
so crazy that you had to be this time around
for people to be like, well, come on, let's do this.
But like you said, like in the scripture that you read,
you know, it's it's it's all up from here when
it comes when you come on the show. That's why
I love coming to the show. I'd be like, manage,
just know we're gonna get some calls because it's always
doors that's opening. Once you leave this stage. Nick's ringing
you about something else where you just like Vena was speaking,
(16:53):
you know, being from Miami, being you know, um Haitian like,
it's a lot. I don't see a lot of Haitian representation,
not only just dark skinned girls, but generation you know,
Jamaican Like, we don't as girls, we don't get that
type of shine in our communities. So for you to
(17:14):
do what you do, for me to come in and
do what I do, like, it's very misogynists. Yeah, a
lot of misogyny. So for us to come in and
do what we do and be so voiceous and woud
with our talent, like it's a big, big deal. I
want to say this though. You know when you just said,
you know v to come in and you should do
what you do, you are dope right, I've been hearing
(17:36):
Jessie was name for a long time, being funny, being
on different shows, you know, Red Carpets. You didn't you
done to those moments and just your people don't say
for you to come in, you've already been in. God
just had to move some things to me on for
your life for you to accept what your purpose is
right now. So if Nick called you and said, baby,
I want you to show before a situation that he
had no clue about or what your experience was you're
(17:58):
taking your while next, it's a whole different moment because
you've been through some stuff with me. I came out
here with not getting my first episode my first season
how to come back again. They called me season eleven.
Shelby was like, hey, I want you on the show.
I had to make sure my ship is like, okay,
let me start skins, let me start making these people
know like I could be funny. I am funny. Actually
it's like, let's get it down. And everybody think when
(18:19):
you're funny the straight show, you go to wilding out,
but you got you gotta be on wilding out. So
I was excited. I was happy. But don't you are
where you supposed to be and God gonna continue to
bless you and get you hired to where you want
to be. He here's your cries every time you made
cry out for some few years. So you are already dope.
You've been doing it. You've probably been doing it before.
(18:40):
We have been doing it because I ain't. I ain't
start doing my skis down the seventh sixteen seventeen, but
I yeah, I didn't take it serious until like the
ending of that year, fighting myself in the street. But
I heard your name, especially in Miami, especially in the
AI over. So you're dope, learn it like and take
all this every love because like now said, you'll be back,
you know, so congratulations for being the women a while
(19:04):
and now women now. But you came back as a
cast member, just like Amber. Y'all turned off as girls.
I never was invited to be a while and our girl?
What am I just funny because I got the look
and I want to be well episode and their outfits
(19:25):
be flies here. I can't fit in zen honey, what
about me? I take all the while in our clothes.
I'm not girl clothes. Let me say they had these boots,
so I said, go slag it. Girl said we don't
have that in an excuse that leather. Y'all, y'all love
(19:47):
this season. This is so fire. We'll not got us
is for real? Yeah, I know you did your totally
want to quote just a motivation a quote, so that
was a toast, which is still but now we just
want to quote, like what you live by? Who told
you this quote? What you going to sleep on? Anything?
It could be a scripture, it could be anything that's positive.
(20:10):
Trust your dreams, Trust your dreams. I feel like I
literally trust my dreams and I see things that I've
dreamt about unfolding. Man trusted them and I went after them.
So trust your dreams. Thank you, Jesse. Okay, look, hold on,
You're gonna drink your chloroformis before you go. Because I
(20:33):
was trying to be like, hey, hey, okay, help me
do harmonize. We didn't even get to do our harmonize, okay,
so what we can only do to keep looking? I
(21:05):
started my first quiet nine period broke up trying to
save everybody's ears over here harthanizing. Yeah, I love harmony.
She got to give you the you wanna do it time? Okay,
last time? When time, I'm gonna do it last time?
(21:32):
Bring I hear what happened? I don't like because I
can't hold by the time you pointed brithe me. Okay,
let me give breathe the lower one, give the first one?
What hold? Okay? No, okay, wait, hold on, dude, what
(21:52):
part of your ears do you know? You gotta get time? Okay, okay,
breathe do now? Okay? Wait and can do Amber help me?
Somebody help me? Oh my god, I could not thank
(22:22):
you so much just for coming in sliding with us
talking with Rod uncut conversation. I'm gonna keep saying it
so you know you do it all. And thank you
so much for coming in. Like I said, keep dreaming big,
keep going for you and keep knocking down doors for
us and black women so we can enter in and
with so crazy tire Bank says something. She was the
(22:43):
first to do, the first to do, the first to
do that, and it opened up doors for other ones
to come behind her. Already. Appreciate you for coming. Thank
you so much. To take a break, and we'll be
right back after this. Girl, I love singing. Yeah, we
(23:04):
are back. We just had our guests, Jessie Woo. She
told us her story. I learned a lot about her
and I love that she could sing because that's what
I was trying to do earlier with all the harmonies
and breathe why you didn't want to do you don't
hear this? Your voice is so beautiful, so beautiful. I
love singing when I hear harmonies. I just be her
(23:27):
love listening beautiful, fired that melon and y'all that week
was so curty. Girl, I took mine. Now I got
my real hair back. Now you're gonna energy and for
her to have been through all those things getting fired.
Sometimes when God shakes the room, he shakes the room
for a great purpose and we don't know what that
purpose is until we step out of faith. So she's
(23:50):
doing what she needs to do. Congrats to Jesse wooing evolving,
you know just everything she would have been at that
nine to five. She want to have times right, if
you got the promotion, she might have got stick here
a big baby for connecting the dot. We love you,
big baby. His energy is crazy. I just did a
(24:11):
stand up show with him before COVID, did a few
with him before COVID. He's always on the stage. Oh
my god, I love that's Let me say something when
when I got my first UM stand up gig and
they wanted me to do a show on some campus.
He was the first person I looked up and his
energy it's crazy. It's amazy like like like everything. And
(24:38):
I told him that when I first I said, I
studied you like UM back in the day, and he
was like that's awesome. Yeah, I love stand up. That's
why I asked her. I was like, would you do
stand up? You know what you love? Jesse? I would
love to see her do stand up the whole time.
She just go sing sing do you remember Saint? But yeah,
(24:59):
I mean yeah, girl, it's not about man or You're
not doing that. No more singing bach you want me to.
She's like, what about that one song? I'm like, girl,
that is I'm not I took that whole album. I'm
so mad because I was looking for that exact song
to download. Stop it, like I love that song. Yeah,
(25:23):
I don't know, and we don't have to clear that. Okay,
you can play this here, but yeah, and her wrapping beat,
she's sick. You're like, you're dope at that. Even if
you talk about the ship is going right now. Ye,
I'm better evolved now because you can't talk about no
other I wouldn't have for somebody used to say in
(25:44):
my wraps in my comedy, I would never say it now.
I'm like, why would I? Why was I talking like that?
So immature. I would just want to say just blow
one good time and say I'm done, drop the mic
and be like you do like just everything, like you know,
like pepperworking things, and they'll be like, yeah, I'm done
with you, something with you. I'm not doing that okay,
(26:06):
run around with them truck in Atlanta. Just I'm calling
it scream. It's so cute to me. I love that,
And I asked, I said, can I buy that truck?
She said, can I buy that truck from you? I said,
what are you gonna do with a be someone beat truck?
I could deck it out? And he race that name
my own ship. We'll find you a truck. We'll find
one now much to wrap it? It's beautiful, y'all. Have
(26:29):
a no picture pop up over the truck. You see
us in Atlanta, so check it out. But you just
phone to be someone all of it. She's just it's
so cute. It's really girly. I know your baby's room
gonna be so cute. I know, what do you think
I should name my daughter Quantiera? See? I don't have
friends like because she ain't never gonna get a job.
(26:49):
Oh so do I like Ashley no my name or
Bralen girl. This is not the third or a second.
We're not doing that. But thank you all for watching,
and we love you. Just thank you, thank you for coming.
We had an amazing show, and thank you for the harmonies.
Y'are comment below if your likes our harmony and if
you want Brede to jump in next time, please do not.
(27:11):
If we have enough comments, we're gonna make her saying
the next episode
