Speaker 1 (00:05):
Hello. Tonight, my students Topanga, Sean and Eric will be
having the same type of fun we had in my
classroom back in nineteen ninety three, and I hope all
of you can do the same.

Speaker 2 (00:22):
I wish I could be there, but instead I'll just
give you some very important advice. Believe in yourself, dream
try do good. Take it from mister Phoene.

Speaker 1 (00:56):
Welcome to Park meets Worldlive. Now give it up for
Danielle Official, right or strong. I'm Will Fordell.

Speaker 3 (01:24):
Thank you guys so much.

Speaker 4 (01:28):
This is so cool.

Speaker 5 (01:30):
Hey, like a little smoke filled little hall here, I know.

Speaker 6 (01:36):
It is. This is wonderful.

Speaker 5 (01:37):
Look at all the shirts there are. Wow, what a
beautiful crowd. Thank you guys for being here. This, Uh,
this feels very strange. We joke a lot about wanting
to invent a time machine and go back in time,
and uh, this feels very much with the three of

(01:58):
us being on stage like we are back in Boy Meets.

Speaker 6 (02:02):
World, isn't it.

Speaker 3 (02:02):
Yeah, yeah, like at a tape night, because this is
about the size of the crowd for our tape night.

Speaker 7 (02:06):
It was.

Speaker 3 (02:06):
It was, of course, if we're just sitting there staring.

Speaker 5 (02:09):
At them like this, which this opportunity.

Speaker 3 (02:12):
Well, did you figure out how to invent the time machine? Yet?

Speaker 6 (02:14):
Wasn't that the first thing on the listening on the list?

Speaker 5 (02:16):
You're working?

Speaker 3 (02:17):
Well, so we're okay. Here's a good question to get
us started. Okay, if you guys could have a time
machine and not only go back, but actually go back
and magically change a storyline or change something about our
show one thing? One thing? Do you have an answer?
Do you know what it would be? Does it have
to be about us or can it be about anything.

Speaker 6 (02:39):
On the show?

Speaker 3 (02:39):
No, anything on the show?

Speaker 5 (02:41):
Okay, I got one? Well, then please, by all means
you go first.

Speaker 3 (02:45):
It's not gonna be popular. Oh, recast Sean, how dare you?
Panga would have gone to yell? I take it back.
It was very poppy minutes into bod Meets World Live,

(03:07):
gotten right into the contract. Well, I love it all right.

Speaker 5 (03:10):
I would have gone to you, right, I mean, listen,
that's good. That's a good one.

Speaker 3 (03:14):
Do you have one?

Speaker 8 (03:14):
Yeah?

Speaker 3 (03:14):
Mine is super safe. I guess compared to that, I
would have had Turner stick around. Especially you know, now
we're into the rewatch. But we're in the second season
and we're watching and I'm just that that relationship between
Sean and Turner, we're at the point where that's just
starting to happen, and wait to see where that at home,
my god, and see where that's so it's so emotional.

(03:37):
And and then also you know we've been talking about
on the pod, like the relationship with Bill, like the
mister Feenie Turner stuff, which I just did never realized.
It was so beautiful. So we didn't see any of
the adult stuff as kids. No, him know what was happening.

Speaker 7 (03:50):
Rusty were so good, We're like there were adults on
the show.

Speaker 2 (03:52):
Great.

Speaker 3 (03:53):
Yeah, No, it was weird. No, Yeah, so I would definitely. Yeah,
the fact that he disappeared in a coma is one
of the saddest.

Speaker 5 (03:58):
I'm also disappeared. I'm also really surprised that the foundation
for that relationship was laid so early on, like it's
already there. And yeah, so that's very that's a good one.
That's very special.

Speaker 6 (04:10):
Do you have one?

Speaker 5 (04:11):
Yeah? Sure, I have one. I'd be in every freaking episode.
I go back and talk to my agent like what
are we doing there?

Speaker 3 (04:21):
Hold out? Yeah, I'm going to show up to work
and listen every episode.

Speaker 5 (04:25):
When the agents asked me, Danielle, just we're gonna play hardball,
and I go, no, don't lose this job for me.
I'd be like, yeah, let's tale it out.

Speaker 6 (04:32):
Yeah, I see twelve year old daniel Yeah.

Speaker 3 (04:34):
That's what you'd be like.

Speaker 7 (04:38):
No, absolutely no, Why that's a good one.

Speaker 5 (04:42):
All right, Well, listen, I am very excited about everything
that we have planned for the rest of the night.
So I don't want to make.

Speaker 3 (04:48):
It that's the show.

Speaker 7 (04:49):
By the way, it's been so much fun.

Speaker 5 (04:54):
I really don't want to make anybody wait any longers.
We have a lot of guests, we sure do, yes,
and we have we are. We are cramming a lot
into this hour and a half.

Speaker 7 (05:05):
So ill we should thank the people that brought us here.

Speaker 5 (05:08):
That made my dreams come true.

Speaker 3 (05:10):
Yeah, I think so.

Speaker 7 (05:11):
I think that's sins, sir, because we got to accomplish
an awful lot of stuff tonight.

Speaker 6 (05:15):
We sure did because of because of Hyundai.

Speaker 5 (05:18):
Yes, thank you, thank you so much.

Speaker 7 (05:21):
Really happen for us, like really made this happen for us,
where we had a lot of things we wanted to
do when we were throwing around and we were like,
well that's not.

Speaker 3 (05:30):
Going to work.

Speaker 5 (05:31):
I mean that's not going to happen. And then when
I tell you they made all our dreams come true,
it is, it is not. It's not a hyperbole. So
moving into our very first guest, I would like to
bring out someone you all know and I see his

(05:52):
face in the crowd.

Speaker 7 (05:54):
We see shirts left and right, We see shirts left
and right.

Speaker 5 (05:58):
Let's please pleaseng out. You know him as Harley Kiner.
We all know him as Danny McNulty.

Speaker 6 (06:27):
That's amazing.

Speaker 5 (06:29):
Sit down, make yourself comfortable, everybody, The one and only,
I said, the one and only Danny McNulty. How are
you feeling, Danny? As you can see, Danny is wearing
the shirt, and I see multiples of them out in

(06:50):
the audience. You guys have been so supportive for those
of you who don't know. We collaborated with Danny to
put together this shirt and for every shirt purchase, proceeds
went to Danny and also name me. And we don't
have the totals all. Everyone was so generous and bought
so many shirts, and we don't have the totals yet.
We should have them sometime next month. But I did

(07:13):
just want to know since you have come on the
podcast and since the shirt has been out, can you
tell us what the reception has been for you and
how it has made you feel.

Speaker 8 (07:25):
Yes, it's it's been quite moving. I was in a
place after my mom's passing where I couldn't really get
out of a hole that I was in, and lucky, luckily,
I was contacted by these angels next to me here
and they looked out for me, you know, and and

(07:46):
brought me on that podcast. And when I when I
did it and told my story, it was, Uh, it
was very moving to to hear everybody's own feelings towards
how they they related with what I was going through,
or how how it made them sort of come out
of their own shell in a sense. And uh, it's

(08:07):
been it's been great. It's really gotten me not only
out of the house, but you know, for Los Angeles, California,
with these kids, so we're here and all of you
wonderful people.

Speaker 9 (08:19):
Anny.

Speaker 3 (08:19):
I had friends call me to tell me that they
were crying listening to your episode. I mean people, Yeah, people,
you normally don't cry listening to a podcast. We're like,
no writer. I was in the shower and I listened
to this episode and I was all it really, it
was such a it was such a It's probably one
of our best episodes because it was just so honest
and you're so brave to share, you know, and and

(08:42):
for all of us it was such a close sense
of closure, you know, because it was such a you know,
experience that just didn't make sense to us at that age.
And uh, it's just it was so wonderful freely to
do it.

Speaker 7 (08:51):
It also once again highlights just the need to talk
about mental illness. I mean, it's something that we have
to talk about over and over and over again, and
so it's just a completely normal conversation.

Speaker 6 (09:01):
So we had so much fun with that. We really did.
Now I have a question.

Speaker 7 (09:05):
This might be a little odd, but because the shirt
we think sold pretty.

Speaker 6 (09:10):
Well, do you know what you're going to do with
the proceeds?

Speaker 9 (09:13):
Yes.

Speaker 8 (09:14):
As I was saying, my mom passed from COVID in
twenty twenty and we're doing a finally doing a memorial
for her in Donegal, Ireland. So I'm going to find
the family over and we're going to do a b
a big Irish wake as they say, you know, for

(09:35):
my mom, Kathleen, and I'm going to make a little
memorial there for her as well.

Speaker 5 (09:40):
So, wow, your mom back to Ireland.

Speaker 3 (09:43):
That's amazing.

Speaker 8 (09:44):
I'm bringing my mom back home.

Speaker 3 (09:46):
Oh that is incredible.

Speaker 6 (09:47):
Hi man.

Speaker 5 (09:48):
Yeah, well, I don't want to make anybody wait any longer.
I would like to welcome two very special people. Please
welcome Ethan Siplea and Blake Senate.

Speaker 4 (10:21):
Great, great, God.

Speaker 3 (10:27):
Think back together. Now we've been we've been calling this
the Bully Reunion. But I think on the show, you
guys were referred to as thugs. Was it, yes, because
we just watched the episode where he's like, I went

(10:47):
to I was a thug intern and now look at me. Yeah,
bully bullying was not as much of a thing. I
feel like the phrase bully has become more popular only now.

Speaker 5 (10:58):
I mean, and you're also just three of the kindest.

Speaker 3 (11:04):
They could not have been cast more opposite of their
actual personality.

Speaker 10 (11:07):
Is there anything bad that we were actually trying to
shed a positive light on bullying back then?

Speaker 3 (11:13):
You know, like, oh, I think it's probably a good thing.

Speaker 9 (11:15):
Yeah, I mean representing bullies, Yeah, positive.

Speaker 3 (11:18):
Poetry, and they're just a positive.

Speaker 5 (11:26):
But to that point, we have we have talked about it.
One of the beautiful things about it is that it
represented the humanity of every person. So what was what's
behind the bullying? What's the psychology behind why you are
the way you are? And for each one of you
it was something different. So yes, I think you're right.
I think there was a purpose for showing bullies in

(11:46):
a kind way because we were supposed to embrace all
people as just wounded birds.

Speaker 3 (11:52):
It's yeah, it's I mean, it's something to be about
boys world. That is that characters you guys were basically
could have easily been one joke, right, And that's why
I think you were brought on as as guest cast.
And then I think because of your talent and that
just work, they kept writing to you and developing these
these characters so you have your own love entering was
so good that it was like we've got to, you know,

(12:13):
extrapolate the characters out.

Speaker 7 (12:14):
So I have a question, then, were there any bad
people in seven years of boy Mean's role, Like was
there a character that was.

Speaker 6 (12:22):
Later Yes, yes, right, he just wanted to hug you.

Speaker 3 (12:28):
Creepy.

Speaker 6 (12:28):
No, yeah, you're right, there was, so there was one.

Speaker 3 (12:31):
We were just standing next to them.

Speaker 7 (12:32):
Though you guys walked in today the last time I
stood next year was eighteen years old. Yeah, I mean
it's been twenty nine years since we were all together.

Speaker 5 (12:40):
I mean, since it has been twenty nine years since
you guys were all under the same roof Blake. What
are some of the feelings that you have now being
reunited with these guys and us?

Speaker 11 (12:52):
Oh well, uh, I think, like it's pretty surreal, you know,
I think it would be hard to ignore the like
existential wormhole of it, you know where you're like boom
oh fuck, yeah, like what the fuck happens?

Speaker 12 (13:13):
You know?

Speaker 3 (13:13):
Like where like where am I?

Speaker 6 (13:15):
You know what I mean?

Speaker 11 (13:16):
But you guys like look just like you know what
I mean, Like you guys really look good like you
look like you know what I mean. Like if I
was gonna like try to aid you in a movie
but made you want to look like really good, like
things went well for you.

Speaker 3 (13:29):
This is how you would look, you know, man?

Speaker 6 (13:33):
You do though you do though, Oh that's so funny.

Speaker 12 (13:37):
So I.

Speaker 13 (13:40):
I totally agree.

Speaker 9 (13:41):
I feel like we do not look the same at all.

Speaker 3 (13:45):
Right, Like life hit us harder.

Speaker 9 (13:47):
All you did Rider was grow a beard. Will you
got a little salt and Pepper?

Speaker 13 (13:51):
Danielle is exactly not change.

Speaker 3 (13:55):
Like syndication worked well for you.

Speaker 5 (14:00):
Well, I will say something that did come out on
the podcast is there may have been a little bit
of partying in the trailers that we were not a
part of.

Speaker 3 (14:10):
By that, you mean we were not cool enough to
be invited.

Speaker 9 (14:13):
To or we were all terrified of going to jail.

Speaker 6 (14:18):
There's also there's no possibility or worse getting fired.

Speaker 9 (14:22):
That's true.

Speaker 7 (14:23):
No, wait, so you's one of the things you guys
talked about, both of you separately on your your episodes
was that there was kind of a bond that you
both formed right away.

Speaker 6 (14:32):
Was that instant?

Speaker 3 (14:32):
I mean, was it just right away you saw each
other and we're like, we're friends.

Speaker 10 (14:35):
It was day one for sure, and even to that point,
like I haven't seen Blake in a number of years,
and we bumped into each other in the hallway like
an hour before we came here.

Speaker 9 (14:46):
And it was as though no time had.

Speaker 3 (14:56):
Oh that's amazing, Well, I haven't.

Speaker 5 (14:58):
I haven't. A great thing should talk about. One of
the things we discussed was that we've had as we've
been watching the shows and we've been uncovering characters that
we you know, one of the things we love about
Boy Meets World is that all of our guest cast,
most of them got very detailed backstories, and we learned
more about who they were and what was really driving them.

(15:19):
And as we've started watching the show, we've thought, Man,
I'd really like to see more about that character. And
sometimes even to my detriment, like t K. Danielle Harris,
who played your sister in the Sister Teresa episode. She
was so remarkable and so like dynamic. I wanted to
see her and Corey date for longer so that I

(15:40):
could see her in that family situation more. Can you
talk a little bit about what that Do you remember
that episode with her and what your relationship with her
was like.

Speaker 8 (15:49):
T K was amazing. She's still an amazing actress as well,
but I think she could have totally taken over as
the leader of the bullies scared of her, you know,
and she you know, she obviously had that energy. But yeah,
the way things went, I felt like I kind of

(16:11):
abandoned these guys, you know, when everything happened, and I
was so glad to see that they stayed on the show,
you know, because they're both wonderful, wonderful individuals and actors.

Speaker 9 (16:22):
Thanks Danny.

Speaker 10 (16:23):
That's actually a really good pitch which somebody had pitched
Daniel Harris, although we then lose Adam Scott.

Speaker 3 (16:30):
Exactly.

Speaker 5 (16:31):
So did you guys ever hear more? I know you
we had talked to when you guys were on the podcast.
We talked about what your experience was during that table read,
when then ended up being Danny's last table read with
us after the fact, Did anyone ever talk to you
about what had gone on or where he was?

Speaker 10 (16:49):
I went to see Danny in the place he was. Yeah,
I went and sat with him. Yeah, he sold to
me in my darkest hour. Yeah, nobody, nobody from the
show properly talked to him, but I found out where
he was and went and visited him.

Speaker 7 (17:05):
Oh my gosh, that's amazing because we didn't know anything,
you know anything.

Speaker 6 (17:09):
It was just like and it was kind of like,
just don't ask, You're fine, and as.

Speaker 7 (17:12):
A kid, you're going, okay, I guess you know they're
telling us not to ask, so I guess we shouldn't ask.

Speaker 6 (17:17):
So we we just didn't know, which is.

Speaker 7 (17:18):
Why getting back together with you and talking with you
has just been so amazing for.

Speaker 8 (17:22):
All At that time, the stigma of mental illnesses. You know,
nobody was breaking down or you know, it just it
just wasn't anything anyone wanted to talk about.

Speaker 6 (17:32):
Yeah, yeah, god, that's changing.

Speaker 7 (17:34):
Yeah, just anyway, I know, yeahs I'm still I'm just
seeing them together is still so weird and I'm sorry,
like it's so funny.

Speaker 3 (17:43):
So one of the things we've talked about is potential
spin offs. There seems like there could have been a
spin off of several different but a Bully spin off.
What what what would you guys have liked to have
seen your characters do? Yeah, I mean, what's storylines? Imagine
you guys got your own show. Any ideas I.

Speaker 9 (18:06):
Would have liked to see Frankie navigate college? That would
have been interesting.

Speaker 3 (18:10):
Yeah, that would have been great.

Speaker 9 (18:11):
College.

Speaker 8 (18:11):
You guys did graduate in the in the in an episode, right, yeah,
we did, Blake.

Speaker 3 (18:16):
You guys came back and graduated. That was the last episode,
was the graduation situation.

Speaker 5 (18:22):
What would your major have been?

Speaker 9 (18:25):
Literature?

Speaker 5 (18:25):
Absolutely?

Speaker 3 (18:27):
Absolutely? How about you, Blake?

Speaker 6 (18:29):
You think of a storyline for Joey.

Speaker 11 (18:34):
I mean, I like to think of a story where
maybe Joey has like a nice little like a nice
little bike shop in Rhode Island, a bicycle shop, you know,
I know, settles down with a nice girl who's maybe
a little bit on the fruity side, a little bit
like organic compost kind of girl.

Speaker 3 (18:49):
Okay, and she helps, you know what I mean, bring
him out, Yeah, okay, you know what I mean, she's a.

Speaker 11 (18:56):
Vegan let him down, like when I that's right, when
I watch that show, like because I haven't watched I
didn't watch a lot of it like us either, but
in revisiting because I was trying to like do this
any cana sit so I watched them and what I
saw was me with a lot of anxiety, trying.

Speaker 3 (19:18):
To get through the scene really so I can get
off and get paid. But it comes across as a
great man.

Speaker 11 (19:29):
Yeah, yeah, yes, it comes across as like he's kind
of really nervous. So I feel like this organic sort
of compost girl, you know what I mean, take a breath, Joey, Yeah,
like maybe smashing night soil with her feet in the backyard,
you know.

Speaker 6 (19:45):
What I mean.

Speaker 3 (19:45):
And like it's so specific, it would be like a
really good vibe.

Speaker 11 (19:50):
Frankie shows up and a like a sort of gets
into a toga thing. Harley comes and picks our ass
and gets us back in the I don't know, that's
just what's coming up.

Speaker 6 (20:00):
I'm gonna be totally honest with you.

Speaker 3 (20:01):
I would watch I would I would watch that shoe.
Oh that's so funny, Danny, what about you.

Speaker 8 (20:10):
I think it'd be nice to see like the relationship
with t K and me, maybe if she had kids,
and you know, it would be kind of like comical
and seeing these guys come over, you know, and babysit
the kids with me, you know, and do different scenarios,
you know, just wacky.

Speaker 6 (20:29):
I love that Uncle Hall would have bet that's it,
just Uncle Harley.

Speaker 5 (20:35):
I like that, Blake. One of the things we've talked about,
and we've noticed your line readings are so musical. They're beautiful.
It's like the way we had to pull a clip.
I've pulled multiple clips when we've been you know, prepping
for the episodes, because you know, normally I recap an episode,
I go, okay, we're in the school hallway and mister

(20:56):
Turner comes around and he says blah blah blah. Almost
every time you say something, I refuse to say it.
I'm just gonna be like, let's just play the clip,
because it isn't even about the words that are said.
It's the way you say them and the way you
find a rollercoaster through each one. When did everyone here knows?
At least I believe everyone here knows that you were

(21:18):
also a musician for many, many years and still are
a musician, although you don't really do it for a
career anymore. By choice? Do you think you real? Like,
did you take a musical approach to your acting or
is it just the way you like it was?

Speaker 14 (21:35):
It?

Speaker 5 (21:35):
Was it a choice?

Speaker 6 (21:37):
No? Not not in a knowing way.

Speaker 12 (21:39):
No, Like.

Speaker 11 (21:42):
I mean I think, like, I don't know. Maybe it's
like how Drake like kind of wraps on key you know, right?

Speaker 3 (21:50):
No, I really don't know.

Speaker 5 (21:51):
You'll give you a lot like Drake. Yeah, that's what
I was thinking. I didn't know it, but now that you.

Speaker 3 (21:57):
Say it, Yeah, what is the words you just said?

Speaker 15 (22:00):
What is that?

Speaker 12 (22:02):
Hung? What?

Speaker 6 (22:04):
Seriously? What did you say?

Speaker 5 (22:05):
I said, Yeah, I see the resemblance to Drake. Okay,
Drake it I do.

Speaker 3 (22:09):
There's the chocolate cakes. Drake does a lot of hostess stuff. No,
I know, Drake, But you mentioned a specific song. I've
never heard a Drake song.

Speaker 6 (22:18):
In my life.

Speaker 5 (22:18):
So didn't name a Drake song.

Speaker 6 (22:19):
Okay, I thought you said something that I didn't know.
I don't know a lot of this stuff.

Speaker 3 (22:25):
It's hard to hear what it's hard to hear? Okay,
you're hearing yourself. No, it's also Danielle meant. She's so
into the music and all that.

Speaker 9 (22:33):
She says.

Speaker 5 (22:35):
I'm a relatively young person. Will is the oldest man
you'll ever meet in your entire life. I do, and
me for being an old lady, I'm still pretty cool.

Speaker 3 (22:45):
Yeah, it's true. It's true. It's you've got the riz you.

Speaker 6 (22:53):
Look at you. I just found out what that was.
I don't know.

Speaker 3 (22:57):
He is part of the Wu Tang clan.

Speaker 5 (22:59):
No, that's where.

Speaker 3 (23:02):
I'll take two of these bat.

Speaker 5 (23:06):
I have no idea. I'll tell you guys about it later. Okay.
It's short for charisma. Kids are using it these days.
Someone's because they can't say the whole word for some reason.
It's too long, the charisma. The rise you're Rizzy.

Speaker 6 (23:20):
Literally could have said charisma and that same amount of time.

Speaker 3 (23:23):
That's that's I am old man. I just heard it.

Speaker 5 (23:26):
You just heard it.

Speaker 3 (23:27):
I just heard it first.

Speaker 6 (23:29):
That's pretty terrible.

Speaker 5 (23:31):
So to wrap up for the three of you guys
now reuniting, you guys said you bumped into each other
in the hall. Do you think that now you will
maybe stay in touch since we had heard that maybe
you guys had fault, not you didn't have a falling out,
but just fell apart the way people do. Over this,
you move on, you know, you grow, you move towns,

(23:53):
something else. Well, before I get into whether or not
you're going to stay in touch, can you guys tell
us a little bit about what each of you are
doing now and where you're finding just all of your
passion and joy? What is bringing that to you these days?

Speaker 7 (24:07):
Who?

Speaker 6 (24:08):
Danny, go ahead, We'll go down there.

Speaker 5 (24:09):
You go first.

Speaker 8 (24:12):
I have to think about it and let them go first,
and I'll work my way around.

Speaker 6 (24:16):
You want to do that all right?

Speaker 11 (24:17):
Okay, I'm going for your on the spot now. Okay, Okay.
I think about three maybe four, no, four years ago? Uh,
I was having I was having my first and only child,
and I moved to Nashville and decided to just shed

(24:39):
my my artistic shackles uh and expectations of myself and
decided to just fully become hardcore norm core daddy, just
like fucking waking up at six and you know what
I mean?

Speaker 6 (24:58):
Well, I mean I don't, but yes, as a concept,
I know the concept.

Speaker 3 (25:03):
Yeah, and you know what you mean?

Speaker 13 (25:04):
Yeah.

Speaker 11 (25:04):
And I had bought a couple of houses in LA
and so I I went to Nashville bought like some
some commercial real estate and went into that, which was
like terrifying and panic attacks and horrible. But then you
wake up five years later and you're like, wow, that
was cool. Like it's like rented out or whatever. They
rented up.

Speaker 3 (25:24):
But this is important, this is really important.

Speaker 11 (25:28):
After doing the podcast with you, right, yeah, the podcast
I did, I had that feeling, this really cool old
feeling where I was like, oh cool, other artists like
this feels really good, this feels really clean and right,
and like what I'm who I am a little bit? Yeah,
not the kid on Boy Meets World who's on a podcast,

(25:50):
but just like a dude who like My favorite thing
about working as an actor always was the community.

Speaker 3 (25:56):
Always was the fellowship.

Speaker 11 (25:58):
By far the acting I could take or leave, but
the sitting at the table read with the bagel, you
know what I mean.

Speaker 3 (26:03):
Like bang rehearsals.

Speaker 13 (26:04):
Yeah, man, that was the best thing.

Speaker 11 (26:06):
Yeah, and so doing that with you guys, I was like,
oh my god, this is like so cool. So I
went to I met a buddy in Cuba where internet
doesn't work. I know this is a long story, but
it's an interesting one. After that podcast, and we decided
to write something together and since then we've been writing
every single day. And Danielle, you wrote me an ic

(26:28):
e mail and I wrote you back and I said,
you know, and you probably thought it was weird or something,
because I wrote back like, yeah, that podcaster really I
feel like it's serving as a springboard for like a
new vibe something and it was just really beautiful.

Speaker 3 (26:40):
So thanks for having me on. And that's what I'm
doing writing every day, and that's been my like star.

Speaker 6 (26:44):
That's awesome. Oh that's awesome.

Speaker 5 (26:48):
Oh that is amazing. No, I did not, in any
way think anything you wrote back to me was weird.
I none of you guys would know this, but I
reached out to Blake because you know, I had not
Blake in twenty nine years, and there was a when
we have talked with all of you, there has been
something that even through Zoom, which is normally a cold

(27:10):
medium and feels like, oh, it's disconnected. I wish we
were all in the same room. But there is an
earnestness and a sincerity that I think all of us
share that really comes through, that transcends the Internet, that
transcends probably the TV waves, Which is maybe one of
the reasons why so many people have related to Boy
Meets World over the years, is that all of us

(27:30):
are you know. I think we're sincere people who believe
in what we do, and I think that comes through.
And so I wrote to you after because I just
felt like, man, what a what a great feeling to
talk with you and to see you in such a
good place, and you did. You wrote me back a
very nice thing. And I did not then respond back
to that, because you know, it feels like, well, how
many times are we going to write back?

Speaker 3 (27:51):
And it was it was chat GBT anyway, So it's.

Speaker 5 (27:54):
Right, exactly. It was like I was having to come
up with the crues.

Speaker 11 (27:56):
Quite a nice thing to Daniel Fishel exactly.

Speaker 5 (28:00):
Yeah, you got my Mermaid looking AI character. Yeah. So yeah,
so anyway, well that is thank you for sharing that
that means really not to us.

Speaker 16 (28:08):
Yeah, that's beautiful, that's really cool.

Speaker 9 (28:13):
You have to go. You don't have to do anything
that should have been the last one. I was like,
that's like where we wanted to get.

Speaker 6 (28:21):
Yeah, it won't be as good as you can still go.

Speaker 9 (28:25):
I have four children. My youngest is sixteen.

Speaker 10 (28:27):
So the stuff that Blake and Ryder are kind of
dealing with I dealt with many many years ago.

Speaker 9 (28:33):
And being a father. Is that my favorite thing on
earth to do?

Speaker 6 (28:39):
That's cool?

Speaker 9 (28:39):
Yeah, and I continue to work.

Speaker 10 (28:41):
I have a movie coming out in June called God
Is a Bullet that's not for you guys at all
because it doesn't mix with this vibe. Adam, Wait, it's
called what God Is a Bullet? It's very upsetting.

Speaker 7 (28:53):
Okay, so not not a double feature with Season two.

Speaker 6 (28:56):
A boy me o no no, no, no oh. That's
so funny, cool Danny.

Speaker 8 (29:04):
Well, similar to to Blake, it's you know, something like
a fire has kind of started where I'm being more
creative and I'm getting back with my agent and auditioning
and things are.

Speaker 3 (29:17):
Things are going in POI. This is awesome.

Speaker 8 (29:22):
No announcements yet, but I'm gonna try and convince these
guys to do a few conventions in the future. Possibly possibly,
maybe who knows, you know, but I'd love to be
in touch with them more and uh, you know, be
able to spend a little more time together and seeing
them grow into fine young men that they are.

Speaker 5 (29:44):
Danny, these were the bullies. I know you believe that
it's like how it's so ratt Well, I will I
will speak for everybody here when I say that everyone
is thrilled to hear you say that you are starting
to get back out there again. I know that you
said when you were on our pod that you have

(30:06):
struggled to find your identity now in the passing of
your mother. Your mom was such a huge part of
your life and to try and figure out now where
you are without her physical presence here, I know has
been a journey for you. And so the fact that
maybe it is going to lead to you being in
all of our lives out in entertainment, we are very

(30:27):
happy about that. So best of left break a leg. Yes,
now we are going to have these three gentlemen, I
will continue to call the bullies. We're going to have
them join us again in a little bit. But we
would like to bring out our next guest, so let's
please have another round of a round of a plot
for Danny, Ethan and Blake. We'll see you guys in

(30:50):
a bit.

Speaker 9 (30:52):
I love it, guys.

Speaker 5 (30:54):
You go on that way, We'll see you down.

Speaker 6 (30:56):
Well, I don't need this. Why am I?

Speaker 3 (31:01):
Why am I holding my hand?

Speaker 6 (31:03):
It's mine, but I don't need to hold it in
my hand.

Speaker 3 (31:05):
It seems awkward that I'm holding the water.

Speaker 5 (31:06):
You just have the water in your hand.

Speaker 6 (31:07):
I just had the water in my leg, and I'm like,
a few thinks it's very strange.

Speaker 5 (31:11):
So I can't believe that we got them together. This
was eighteen.

Speaker 3 (31:18):
I can't.

Speaker 5 (31:18):
I was eighteen years old the last time I know,
But I feel like you were just eighteen, like two
days ago.

Speaker 3 (31:23):
So it's true.

Speaker 6 (31:24):
You do feel like it was quick.

Speaker 5 (31:26):
Yeah, you know it does. But I just am so
excited that Hyundai was able to bring them together for me,
because honestly, it's for me. That's all they wanted. It
was like my number one thing after we did their interviews,
it was it was my dream to get them reunited
under one room.

Speaker 6 (31:39):
They're on the stage, so okay.

Speaker 5 (31:41):
So I'm also very excited about our next guest for
a few reasons. But one of the reasons I'm excited.
Is because he turns this guy next to me into
a little kid. It is just my favorite.

Speaker 6 (31:54):
Ooh you touch me?

Speaker 7 (31:55):
We go?

Speaker 3 (31:57):
Please welcome Tony Quack.

Speaker 7 (32:19):
Oh my, you sit there, You sit there, Tony Quinnay, Tony.

Speaker 3 (32:28):
Mister Turner, they're so good at this.

Speaker 12 (32:31):
She is.

Speaker 15 (32:32):
We go.

Speaker 5 (32:32):
Hey, thanks, Daniel, tell me, no, tell me about this tie.
I see we got a Turner.

Speaker 17 (32:41):
I've got the mister Turner ty clip on there?

Speaker 3 (32:44):
Do you nice?

Speaker 5 (32:45):
I has been held in talk into the microphone, Tony,
I have is this?

Speaker 17 (32:49):
Can you hear me?

Speaker 16 (32:51):
This tie has been held in a hyperbaric chamber for
the last twenty nine years. Nice, So I've tried to
keep it preserved. It's a nice Peter Pan tie. It's
is because we never grew up.

Speaker 5 (33:02):
No, we're still here.

Speaker 7 (33:04):
We're still But now can you please explain the tie
with the accent of mister Turner from the first episode.

Speaker 17 (33:13):
Okay, so you like my tie?

Speaker 1 (33:19):
You like the tie?

Speaker 15 (33:20):
Like the tie?

Speaker 9 (33:21):
You don't think I know.

Speaker 17 (33:24):
You don't think I can pull out a tie.

Speaker 3 (33:27):
I know it's third period, but I'm still holding my helmet.

Speaker 17 (33:29):
Wait, you guys want to talk? Anytime you want to talk?

Speaker 18 (33:32):
Talk can you call him matt Schews, Matthews, Matthews, Hunter Matts.

Speaker 3 (33:41):
Can you do the Tony look at you and yeah,
try to walk away?

Speaker 12 (33:45):
Oh?

Speaker 16 (33:46):
I love it.

Speaker 5 (33:46):
I love It's the best. I mean, yes, I said it.
When you're in with your intro, seeing the two of
you together, when we joke that we have inside jokes.
No one has inside jokes the way Will and Tony
have their own language.

Speaker 7 (34:02):
Okay, all right, I bet you guys something. Yeah, he
bet us something, Tony, BA.

Speaker 3 (34:13):
Say something to Tony.

Speaker 9 (34:15):
He's gonna say.

Speaker 5 (34:18):
He said, guys. When we bring him out, I'm gonna
ask him something. He's gonna say this.

Speaker 19 (34:23):
What is?

Speaker 16 (34:24):
I just want to I just want to share with
everybody here, Okay, I want to share with everybody this
gentleman right here, aside from my wife, he is the
only person that can make me laugh until I wet
my pants.

Speaker 3 (34:37):
That's true of a lot of us. Will's. Will's got
that record in a lot of our lives to he
actually wet his pants. Okay, in the dressing.

Speaker 5 (34:45):
Room, tell the story, Please tell the story.

Speaker 7 (34:48):
I don't remember what no, you know, I do remember
the joke, and we didn't even say anything.

Speaker 17 (34:53):
You don't have to say anything.

Speaker 14 (34:55):
It was you.

Speaker 3 (34:56):
You take this bottle of water and make me wet
my pant.

Speaker 12 (35:00):
No, it was you.

Speaker 3 (35:00):
You walked out. You went, hey, before we leave for
the night, I'm just gonna go to the craft service
table real quick.

Speaker 6 (35:07):
Okay, I'm getting my thing.

Speaker 7 (35:08):
I turned back around and you're holding two full plates
of cookies, trapped and ready to take home, two giant plates.

Speaker 3 (35:16):
And you're like, I'm ready, and I just turned around
and we both lost it. Nobody said anything, and then
you urinated yourself.

Speaker 17 (35:24):
I had to walk out of it, is what happened.

Speaker 9 (35:29):
Yes, Oh that's so funny.

Speaker 8 (35:31):
All right.

Speaker 3 (35:32):
So, Tony, the last time we saw you was in
your new hometown, Chicago. Yes, and it was for Bill
daniels ninety sixth birthday. Was that crazy? Amazing an amazing
part of his rewatch has been for us realizing how
much you worked with Bill. You were in like every
every episode. You guys have no storyline, I know, So how.

Speaker 6 (35:51):
Was it seen here?

Speaker 16 (35:52):
It was fantastic. Bill was like no time had gone by,
and it's the same thing with you guys. I mean
it's like no time. We pick up right where we off.
He Bill looked at me and he.

Speaker 17 (36:03):
Kind of and I go, do you remember me? And
he goes, of course, he gave me a hug, and
it was fantastic.

Speaker 3 (36:12):
Yeah, Yeah, he's an amazing.

Speaker 7 (36:14):
That's one of the things that we're again, we keep
talking about this thing of being kids on the show
and now watching it as adults. We're like focused on
the adult performances more than anything else because it's just
something we didn't register when we were younger actors or
you know, selfish and thinking about our storylines there in school.
And so the you and Bill together, that dynamic, especially

(36:36):
season two, has just it's just taken this whole kind
of new level. Because we've talked about mister Feenie and
Corey kind of aren't together as much anymore, so they've
made it like the two of you.

Speaker 3 (36:46):
What was it like working with Bill that closely all
the time?

Speaker 17 (36:49):
I mean it was great. He was very matter of fact.

Speaker 16 (36:51):
He was really professional, so there was no tom foolery
or anything like that.

Speaker 5 (36:55):
Well, I'm saying that actually makes me feel I want
you to. I don't mean to interrupt you, and I'm
going to because I have to say that hearing you
say that makes me feel better because there was no
tomfoolery with us as well.

Speaker 3 (37:07):
No no, he wasn't even promiseful.

Speaker 17 (37:09):
No no, no, no, no, no he was. He was
all business, you know. He very rarely joked around or anything.

Speaker 16 (37:16):
One of my favorite memories with Bill, Jeff McCracken was
directing an episode Love Jeff McCracken and he was directing
Bill and he said, you know, you come in and
you do this, and Bill says, yeah, I don't feel comforted.

Speaker 17 (37:28):
I don't want to do not doing that. I don't
want to do that.

Speaker 16 (37:30):
And Jeff goes, oh, okay, well what would you like
to do? And he goes, well, I want to do
this and come around that way and it feels more
natural for me to do that, and Jeff goes, oh.

Speaker 17 (37:38):
Okay, okay, and that's fine, you can do that, you know.

Speaker 16 (37:40):
So he was directing and I thought, you know, he's
making me do something, and I thought, you know what,
I'm going to say something because Bill just did and
he got his way and Bill was uncomfortable, and I said,
you know, Jeff, I think it would be better if
I came through this way and come out that way.

Speaker 17 (37:56):
I think it would be a little bit becaues, Yeah,
now we're not doing that, and Bill looked at me,
he goes. That was one of the rare times I
saw Bill laugh about something.

Speaker 3 (38:09):
One of the best parts about hanging out with Bill
now off set, like now that we're grown ups, is
Bonnie being because she unlocks Bill. Like he really did
maintain a professionalism on set. He kept his distance from us,
and so besides rehearsal time we didn't see him, like
unless he was in a scene. He was in his

(38:30):
dressing room. But Bonnie coming down, and I remember we
got invited to go. You actually went. I couldn't go
because I had to work. I went, You got invited
to was it? The ballet? Got invited?

Speaker 9 (38:39):
So I grew up.

Speaker 7 (38:39):
My family would take me to the ballet every year,
and I became a fan of the ballet.

Speaker 3 (38:43):
And Bonnie was very big in the dance company.

Speaker 6 (38:46):
With the dance company in Santa.

Speaker 5 (38:47):
Barbara danced up until like three years, like three years.

Speaker 7 (38:49):
Ago, I mean, like an amazing dancer. And she said,
this incredible Russian company's coming in. They're doing the Nutcracker.
You and Ryder should come. So I was already nervous
because this would be the first time I'd ever been
with with Bill as a human, you know, like we're offset,
we're not doing anything, and I just remember they're like,
come up see the show and then spend the night

(39:10):
at our house and Rider and I are like, we
have to do that.

Speaker 3 (39:13):
And so I get a page.

Speaker 7 (39:17):
About five minutes before I'm gonna leave, and it's Rider.
I then call him back the rotary and it's Rider going, dude,
I can't go. Yeah, And I'm like, am I gonna
really go and be with Bill and Bonnie alone in
Santa Barbar.

Speaker 9 (39:33):
I was like, I have to go.

Speaker 6 (39:34):
I want to see this ballet company.

Speaker 3 (39:36):
I'm gonna go.

Speaker 7 (39:36):
I drive up there, I'm standing in front of the
theater like ready to go, and I hear well and
I look over and there's Bill who's had a glass
of wine.

Speaker 5 (39:46):
Or maybe too maybe with his arm.

Speaker 3 (39:50):
He's got a jacket open, there's no tie, his arms
are held wide over.

Speaker 20 (39:54):
I'm so glad you met it.

Speaker 3 (39:55):
And I was like, who is this man? Who is
this man hugging me right now? And we had the
greatest night in the world.

Speaker 6 (40:02):
It was changing, dya.

Speaker 3 (40:03):
I remember you came back and you were like, I saw.

Speaker 5 (40:05):
Bill I just met Bill.

Speaker 7 (40:09):
Yeah, and then after that he we hang out in
his dressing room. He taught mem how to play chess.
I mean it was like the whole You're right, the
whole thing kind of changchanged.

Speaker 11 (40:16):
And I feel like it was.

Speaker 3 (40:17):
And then when Bonnie came on our show. I remember
because she she she liked him in front of us,
so she she was always jibing him, and it was
just loosened him up.

Speaker 6 (40:28):
It's and he would always be like Bonnie, It's like, no,
come on.

Speaker 5 (40:32):
One of the things we've loved watched like seeing the
evolution of between season, like in the season two is
it seemed like originally there was going to be you
were going to be the foe to Feenie. You were
going to be the young hip teacher, and this was
going to be a source of conflict.

Speaker 6 (40:46):
You had an earring, of course, I mean, how controversial
can you get?

Speaker 5 (40:51):
I mean exactly exactly. Everyone knows you were the controversial
one on the exactly, so so you start, it seemed
like there was going to be that dynamic. But then
what I've loved is the way it has evolved is
that there is such a very clear respect between the
two of you or you enjoy ribbing each other. And
it's funny because I think it's also the same way

(41:11):
we talked about the humanity of the bullies, the way
A Boy meets World would set people up to be
opposing forces and then very quickly realize, you know what,
I don't like the conflict between them. It's actually better
when they're on the same team. And that's one of
the things I've loved about where the Turner Feeni relationship
has evolved to do you remember there being conversations, whether

(41:35):
with you and Michael Jacobs, or you and the other writers,
or between you and Bill about forming that dynamic in
your relationship.

Speaker 16 (41:44):
I don't remember any conversations. I think it just kind
of happened, just with the way the writing was. What
I really liked about what Bill would do with me
is that he would always call me a ear ring boy,
or he would throw jibes back at me to show
me that he's still the one here and I'm here,
you know.

Speaker 17 (42:01):
And then I would do my little.

Speaker 7 (42:04):
With the ski vest, you know your favorite Did you
make that up?

Speaker 6 (42:07):
Did you do that?

Speaker 17 (42:08):
I don't remember, think you?

Speaker 16 (42:09):
I think you at I don't remember Michael Michael might
have come to me at some point and says, hey,
do some funny thing with the ski vest, you know,
And I'm like, I don't know if it was funny
or not, but it was.

Speaker 5 (42:20):
He thought it was funny.

Speaker 9 (42:20):
You gotta laugh.

Speaker 17 (42:21):
It made you laugh, It made me.

Speaker 7 (42:22):
Not At midday, all were trying to do was make
each other laugh exactly.

Speaker 9 (42:27):
It was great.

Speaker 3 (42:28):
Do you guys?

Speaker 5 (42:28):
Could you guys tell us one more little inside joke
that you a moment?

Speaker 17 (42:33):
Now, I'm gonna okay, now, I'm going to give you one. Okay, good, Okay,
you ready?

Speaker 12 (42:39):
Sure?

Speaker 17 (42:39):
I know what he's going to say.

Speaker 6 (42:42):
I know.

Speaker 5 (42:43):
Tell me you're ready?

Speaker 8 (42:44):
Now?

Speaker 3 (42:44):
This happened at it tell me what he's going to say?

Speaker 5 (42:49):
I just I just wanted to verify.

Speaker 17 (42:50):
This happened at a table read. This is one of
our favorite I hope I can remember.

Speaker 16 (42:54):
This is one of our favorite bits that we are
always doing to each other, and it happened at a
read and we didn't know what was going to happen.

Speaker 17 (43:03):
Are you ready for the line?

Speaker 7 (43:04):
I am, but I'm so nervous now because I'm gonna
be nervous if you're gonna get it?

Speaker 3 (43:08):
Are you ready?

Speaker 12 (43:09):
Hi?

Speaker 17 (43:09):
I'm Candy.

Speaker 5 (43:11):
Of course you are.

Speaker 21 (43:14):
What does that mean?

Speaker 5 (43:21):
Exactly what you said?

Speaker 9 (43:23):
I gotta give you the moment.

Speaker 17 (43:25):
The moment was we were at a table read and
it was I think it was a wrestling.

Speaker 5 (43:30):
Episode, which okay, I know which one.

Speaker 16 (43:34):
I think it was, I can't remember. But there was
a girl on the show and we're doing the table reading.
He and I always used to sit, you know, right
next to each other, and we're just going through it
and we're listening and people are doing their lines, and
all of a sudden, this girl's.

Speaker 17 (43:48):
Chewing gum and she goes, Hi, I'm Candy, and we
both went.

Speaker 6 (43:53):
Of course you are, which is from Highlands.

Speaker 3 (44:00):
But we never even got what was the bahweh thing?

Speaker 21 (44:02):
Bye oh?

Speaker 7 (44:02):
That's from from Stargate Starget.

Speaker 3 (44:07):
That's how random we would get with these.

Speaker 17 (44:09):
But that's that's him though.

Speaker 3 (44:11):
That's that's will Forred Dell.

Speaker 17 (44:13):
At his finest.

Speaker 16 (44:15):
He can take some random, bizarre, little nothing thing and
make it the funniest thing you've ever heard.

Speaker 3 (44:22):
He did it for seven seasons. He would do that.

Speaker 17 (44:24):
He he literally did it for five minutes.

Speaker 16 (44:28):
And then somebody would say something, you go bye way,
and then they'd say something else to him and he'd.

Speaker 3 (44:34):
Go and I was ad, but we were doing with
the rababu.

Speaker 17 (44:39):
But I'm wetting my pants because you wouldn't stop.

Speaker 3 (44:42):
Oh man, we had fun.

Speaker 5 (44:44):
Well, Tony. We absolutely love every moment we spend with you.
We enjoyed having you on the podcast, you did a
recap with us. We've obviously loved having you here, and
we are actually going to be taking Podmeats World Live
on the road later this year and doing a little tour,
and we'd like to ask you if you'll join us

(45:05):
for a couple of dates. Yes, okay, okay, great, Yes,
once again. We are going to see mister Tony Quinn
back again with us in a little bit. But we'd
like to give him a round of applause right now.
We'll see him in a little bit. Tell me we'll

(45:27):
see you in a little bit.

Speaker 3 (45:39):
Oh that is so funny.

Speaker 7 (45:44):
Wow, I can't believe I haven't thought of that since
the day that that happened.

Speaker 5 (45:49):
That's so weird. Feel your temperature rise. I was like, Oh,
it's going to give me the one thing I don't remember,
and then you knew it.

Speaker 7 (45:56):
Oh, I know, and you know the thing is now
the whole episode has come back the it's the the
girl who said I'm Candy has already done two episodes
of our show.

Speaker 3 (46:05):
It was on the great actress's name.

Speaker 6 (46:07):
Who's who was on California Dreams.

Speaker 5 (46:09):
Oh, thank you, Kelly Packard, thank you.

Speaker 7 (46:13):
That's so yeah, that's.

Speaker 3 (46:21):
That she that wo said I'm Candy.

Speaker 5 (46:23):
Amazing.

Speaker 3 (46:23):
Yeah, that's awesome.

Speaker 5 (46:24):
Well, having everybody here and seeing everybody all on a
stage really makes me feel like we are, like truly
back on the set of Boy these World Machine exists.

Speaker 3 (46:33):
Should we recreate a scene? I think we should.

Speaker 5 (46:37):
All right, okay, let's recreate a scene.

Speaker 3 (46:41):
You do realize there's we have one very large.

Speaker 5 (46:44):
Well quote every troll on Instagram. Where's Cory?

Speaker 22 (46:50):
So?

Speaker 5 (46:51):
Is there anybody in the audience who might be willing
to come on stage and play Corey? If you are
interested or willing to play Corey, please raise your hand
so we can see you. Keep your hands raised.

Speaker 3 (47:05):
All right, got some options? Got some options?

Speaker 5 (47:07):
I see I see, okay, all right, I see some people.
Who's gonna pick?

Speaker 3 (47:11):
I think Topanga should pick.

Speaker 6 (47:15):
Wait a minute, wait minute, I think Eric should pick
his little brother.

Speaker 5 (47:18):
Well, do you want to rock paper scissor? Sort?

Speaker 6 (47:20):
All right, let's rock Papercis is ready, ron paper. It's
gonna be you, okay, And that's how we was working
with Danielle ha ha.

Speaker 3 (47:30):

who in the scene is Corey. Can you please tell
us your name? My name is Zuri, Zuri, Hi, Surrey,

Speaker 3 (48:00):
This is good Season one outfit. Maybe a vest? Is
there a vest vest? Let's get a vest on this?

Speaker 6 (48:05):
Here we go?

Speaker 3 (48:06):

Speaker 5 (48:09):

Speaker 3 (48:11):

Speaker 5 (48:16):

Speaker 6 (48:22):

Speaker 9 (48:24):
A bone?

Speaker 3 (48:25):
And then where's my leather jacket? Probably in my closet
where it started.

Speaker 7 (48:33):
There we go.

Speaker 6 (48:34):
You got it? All right?

Speaker 5 (48:35):
You look great, Surrey, I mean Corey, break a leg,

Speaker 3 (49:17):
Hey, Corey, check it out? Oh no, here come the bullies.

Speaker 17 (49:24):
Hey are you doing, bab boone?

Speaker 8 (49:31):
You want to help me make mister Turner's bike run
a little sweeter?

Speaker 3 (49:35):
What's he doing?

Speaker 5 (49:37):
I'm gonna put some sugar in the gas tank.

Speaker 8 (49:41):
I wish I had some help for my lackey's here,
But no, no, you're too busy working on your own poem.

Speaker 3 (49:48):
Yeah yeah, yeah, yeah, do do the poem?

Speaker 6 (49:51):
Do the poem?

Speaker 13 (49:55):
Two wheels, endless paths, two wheels, endless pet?

Speaker 9 (50:06):
Are you sure you with me?

Speaker 5 (50:07):
Are you sure?

Speaker 14 (50:08):
My gang?

Speaker 9 (50:09):
What's that?

Speaker 16 (50:10):
Huh?

Speaker 11 (50:10):
Holly, Holly, Holly, Frank You is merely trying to express
himself to the to the positivity.

Speaker 3 (50:14):
The love that comes to them through pros. What he
needs right now is love.

Speaker 5 (50:17):
What he needs right now is support. Some people they
need the stick and some people need the carrot. He's
a carrot guy.

Speaker 6 (50:24):
Are you hearing this?

Speaker 14 (50:24):
Bad boone?

Speaker 3 (50:26):
Nah?

Speaker 8 (50:27):
Listen, I gotta get me some better adjustice.

Speaker 3 (50:29):
Guys.

Speaker 13 (50:30):
You guys are ridiculous.

Speaker 3 (50:31):
You embarrass me here. All right, Corey, we should get
out of here. I'm out of here.

Speaker 13 (50:39):
You you stay here and do some more poetry while
you're at it.

Speaker 3 (50:45):
Oh man, they poured that sugar in uh, mister Turner's motorcycle.
We should really get out of here before Turner comes right.

Speaker 7 (50:53):
And perfectly on cue and out of breath. For some reason,
mister Turner shows up to see what's happened to his motorcycle?

Speaker 17 (51:09):
What have you guys been doing with my bike?

Speaker 7 (51:12):
Corey?

Speaker 12 (51:13):
This?

Speaker 1 (51:14):
Uh?

Speaker 6 (51:15):
Hunter?

Speaker 17 (51:15):
Was this your idea?

Speaker 3 (51:16):
This is all Corey Matthews.

Speaker 17 (51:21):
What do you got to say for yourself?

Speaker 6 (51:26):
I can't hear you.

Speaker 1 (51:32):
Up?

Speaker 6 (51:34):
You know what I think?

Speaker 16 (51:36):
I'm taking you home because I'm gonna try and talk
to your mother.

Speaker 17 (51:40):
Is your mother home? Is your mother home?

Speaker 9 (51:45):
Come on?

Speaker 3 (51:45):
All right, let's go Interior Matthew's kitchen.

Speaker 7 (51:49):
A young, incredibly handsome Eric Matthews walks into frame.

Speaker 3 (51:53):
Hey, hey, Cory Sean girls.

Speaker 7 (51:58):
Girls, girls, girls, girls, girls, Hey, mister Turner, how you doing?

Speaker 5 (52:03):

Speaker 14 (52:03):
Girls?

Speaker 3 (52:04):
Girls, girls, girls, girls?

Speaker 6 (52:08):
You need something?

Speaker 3 (52:10):
Is your mom home?

Speaker 14 (52:11):
Mom?

Speaker 3 (52:13):
Girls?

Speaker 6 (52:14):
Girls, girls?

Speaker 3 (52:16):
Amy Matthews factors.

Speaker 4 (52:35):
What's going on out here?

Speaker 16 (52:37):
I just caught these two knuckleheads trying to put sugar
in my gas tank.

Speaker 21 (52:41):
Well, they did you a favor of motorcycles are very dangerous.
I've spent the last twenty nine years thinking about the
perfect car, and I think I found it. Have you
ever heard of the twenty twenty three Sunday Tucson?

Speaker 12 (53:06):
Am I not?

Speaker 14 (53:07):
In this episode? Hoorri?

Speaker 3 (53:14):
Let's get an offer.

Speaker 5 (53:17):
Take a bow please? Sorry, we will send you that direction.

Speaker 9 (53:23):
We will go this way.

Speaker 3 (53:25):
You get dress.

Speaker 5 (53:27):
And now we'd like to welcome back Ethan Sipplee, Blake
Sennant and Danny McNaulty, and we are going to do
a Q and A so you can sit here. Ne'ty,
you come sit with me here.

Speaker 18 (53:44):
We did it.

Speaker 3 (53:45):
We did it, no mistake. Nice.

Speaker 5 (53:55):
What do you think of our scene?

Speaker 3 (53:57):
Good job? That was That was great.

Speaker 5 (54:02):
So yeah, I'm very excited about a Q and A time.
Who has our first question?

Speaker 6 (54:10):
Oh?

Speaker 3 (54:11):
Lots of question? Are people coming up to the mic?
How are we doing that?

Speaker 6 (54:14):
We're gonna Oh?

Speaker 3 (54:14):
Perfect?

Speaker 9 (54:15):
Here we go.

Speaker 14 (54:19):
Hi, we won.

Speaker 15 (54:25):
My name is Kiki, and my question is were there
any guest stars on the show that had you just
truly starstruck, oh man.

Speaker 3 (54:35):
Apparently not Robin Leech because we didn't.

Speaker 5 (54:39):
Poor Robin.

Speaker 6 (54:41):
Who did we have that?

Speaker 7 (54:42):
Well, Kathy Ireland in the season one was pretty Oh yeah,
you got to work with Nancy Kerrigan.

Speaker 3 (54:48):
Kerrigan was amazing.

Speaker 6 (54:49):
Yeah, that was cool.

Speaker 21 (54:50):
Well, we didn't know how famous they were going to
be at the time, so we weren't starstruck yet.

Speaker 5 (54:55):
Well, Soupy Sales said definitely, and Soupy Sales being every
teenager's idol at the time, right exactly, he definitely maybe
passed his peak of fame.

Speaker 3 (55:05):
Who I mean, I honestly had no clue who anybody
was for the most part. Yeah, Buddy Hacketts. We had
so many great legends on our show, and I was
just too young and had no clue, so I can't remember.

Speaker 7 (55:16):
I had some that were from smaller things that I love,
like Arianna Richards came on and she had just done
Jurassic Park, so that was really cool. Earl Bowen came
on and he was in Terminator and all these great
He was on Mash Mash Lake Clark Mash. So there
was guest cast that we had.

Speaker 3 (55:34):
That to me made me starstruck.

Speaker 6 (55:36):
But they might not have been like the biggest stars
in the world.

Speaker 17 (55:38):
I was a big fan of the monkeys when the monkeys.

Speaker 7 (55:40):
The monkeys, When the Monkeys came on, I was like
Davy Dolones, it's Davy doles come on. I distinctly remember
when the monkeys were playing, looking over and seeing you,
Betsy like staring at the stage, and I went, are
you a big fan?

Speaker 18 (55:54):
And just went his voices of me, I confess, Yeah,
there you go, the monkeys, Thank you, thank you, cute
sure hit sure Who.

Speaker 3 (56:08):
My question is for?

Speaker 19 (56:13):
Will?

Speaker 23 (56:13):
What was impossibly still is your hair care routine?

Speaker 7 (56:20):
We all want to know that her name is Lorie
and she's back there somewhere. No, it never looks like
this unless somebody does it, which is almost never.

Speaker 3 (56:30):
Oh, I use head and shoulders on my entire body.

Speaker 7 (56:32):
We've learned that is literally not a joke my wife
and never talked about in the car on the way over.

Speaker 3 (56:38):
It starts here and just everywhere else it hits gets washed.

Speaker 8 (56:42):
Thank you.

Speaker 3 (56:44):
It's absolutely the truth.

Speaker 5 (56:49):
Hi.

Speaker 3 (56:49):
Hello, Hi, Hi.

Speaker 19 (56:52):
We were wondering how do you feel about Corey cheating
on Topingo.

Speaker 5 (57:00):
Well you apparently Corey cheating on tapenga Oh, really, how
do you feel about the sun you raised cheating on
the love of his life.

Speaker 21 (57:11):
Well, I was debating whether you were good enough and
for it.

Speaker 5 (57:13):
That's true, so unbelievable enough. I actually was freak that. Yeah.
I mean, I can't wait till we get to those
episodes because I don't remember what any of I don't
remember them, so I don't remember what the status of
their relationship was at the time. I know that I
was very uncomfortable with the way it happened that, like,

(57:35):
I know, Corey stayed back and Topega just went skiing,
and they tried to set it up like there was
some reason they really felt it drawn to each other.
But I think I remember, and maybe I'll be maybe
I'll be surprised when I see it. But I remember
feeling at the time, like, wait, so, what's the connection
he has to this woman that makes him throw his
relationship with Tapega under a bus all to kiss her.

(57:59):
So I remember thinking like, I'm not sure this is
a worthwhile thing for to do to their relationship. But
I don't know, I don't really know. I know they
were also broke up several times. I know there's an
episode where like I think I'm French. I've put on
a French accent, I wear a beret.

Speaker 12 (58:18):
What.

Speaker 5 (58:18):
Yeah, there's an episode and I don't know where it
falls in the cannon, but like, there's an episode where
Corey and Tapega break up and we go, I go
to a party and I wear a beret and I
think I have a French accent.

Speaker 3 (58:29):
Is that where you date? Because don't you don't go
on a date with a guy to like an artist?

Speaker 5 (58:33):
Well, that's a different guy, that's Jonathan Jackson. And we
go to see Starry Nights.

Speaker 6 (58:37):
Wait, why are you French?

Speaker 5 (58:39):
I'm not.

Speaker 6 (58:40):
I don't.

Speaker 3 (58:41):
You're pretending to be. You're hit on the head and
we'll go No, I'm.

Speaker 6 (58:48):
Okay.

Speaker 5 (58:48):
So I don't know where that falls. Its season three, okay?
And where where does Lauren? Where does Lauren come in
season five?

Speaker 7 (58:58):
Right?

Speaker 5 (58:58):
Sometimes? So there's some breakups that happened before that, So
I don't know. I really do look forward to giving
honest opinion on what I truly feel about the Corey
Intopanga relationship. From my memory it is. I couldn't give
you an honest answer because I don't trust my memory.
So I'll look forward to that season three and then

(59:19):
five when the Lauren comes around, thank you, thank you,
thank you, But how dare he is? My overall final answer?

Speaker 3 (59:28):
Hey, hello, I'm Cynthia.

Speaker 11 (59:31):
So anybody who's listened to every single one of these
podcasts like me might remember this.

Speaker 3 (59:36):
But a long time ago, these two gentlemen asked you
to find out where your fuse box is.

Speaker 19 (59:41):
You remember that?

Speaker 5 (59:42):
Did you ever figure out? Oh, my fuse boxes are
my hutting off my water? Because I do know where
all my fuse boxes are, but I don't know how
to shit the water off? You know where that is?
I actually I take it back. Do you know where
it is?

Speaker 3 (01:00:00):
Okay, You're like, did she ever?

Speaker 5 (01:00:03):
I did? I did?

Speaker 6 (01:00:04):
I do know?

Speaker 5 (01:00:05):
Yes, I do know where it is. We did bring
it up at one point when I said then to
producer Jensen Carr, husband of this podcast, I don't know
how to where to shut our water off. He was like,
it's right there, and.

Speaker 12 (01:00:16):
So I do know.

Speaker 6 (01:00:17):
I do know.

Speaker 5 (01:00:18):
I was like, oh, great, thanks good, thank you for
being worried about me.

Speaker 4 (01:00:21):
I really appreciate it.

Speaker 3 (01:00:22):
Thank you that somebody brought that up.

Speaker 22 (01:00:28):
So it sounds like there was a lot of laughter
on set overall, And I was wondering throughout all seven seasons,
were there any particular scenes that you remember where you
kind of broke character because you were laughing so hard,
or that were particular particularly difficult to get through.

Speaker 5 (01:00:44):
I'm gonna throw this to these guys and see if
they have one.

Speaker 9 (01:00:48):
We were guest stars. We weren't allowed to break character
and laugh.

Speaker 5 (01:00:52):
Did you really feel, truthfully? Do you think you never
like you were so concerned with being professional, we.

Speaker 9 (01:00:58):
Did not have that freedom. I don't think do you
that we could like mess up as if you could
break laughing.

Speaker 11 (01:01:07):
Yeah, certainly, not like lean into it and some kind
of like played full ironic like he were all in
on the joke, let's just do it. No, we were
like sort of flatulating ourselves and getting back to the basis.

Speaker 9 (01:01:18):
Yes, we were in trouble if we messed up a scene.

Speaker 18 (01:01:21):
Oh man.

Speaker 5 (01:01:22):
And yet it's so funny because you're right, there was
a lot of laughter on set, and these two behind
the scenes are true of the funniest ever.

Speaker 10 (01:01:32):
And we like to do disruptive stuff and play jokes
and have skits and bits and stuff like that, but
never during a scene right right, and never around producers
or anyone in authority.

Speaker 3 (01:01:45):
That's actually true. I imagine we were probably still pretty
in line by the time when these guys were on
the show really was like season four and five, and
we got more comp became way less professional, and then
you know, you also realized, like when you're when we
started the show, when you're in a live audience, you're
so worried about messing up in front of them, and
then you do it a few times and you realize
that's why they came to the show, actually want to

(01:02:08):
see you mess up. And so once you like realize
that it's okay, you know, then it was it was fun.
It was actually like part of the fun was losing
it in front of the audience and then them losing
it back.

Speaker 6 (01:02:18):
Yeah, that's see.

Speaker 5 (01:02:19):
Did you guys ever remember a time when you guys
really broke.

Speaker 21 (01:02:22):
I'm sure we did.

Speaker 5 (01:02:24):
I don't remember specifically.

Speaker 21 (01:02:26):
You made me laugh an awful lot. Oh yeah, just yeah,
So I don't remember actually breaking. Maybe there was one
time where I was trying to do something with Ben,
but like something trying to I can't remember what I
was doing, but there was just nothing really kind of
sticks out.

Speaker 5 (01:02:42):
But you have to remember we don't always remember all
the episodes, especially me, so I don't know. Anyway, Sony,
all you have.

Speaker 17 (01:02:55):
To do is look at me, and I laughed.

Speaker 16 (01:02:57):
There was a particular moment where you and I were
in the scene where all the teachers were harassing you
about your grade or your report or something like that.
And remember all he has to do is raise an eyebrow,
and I'm laughing. So the scene was you guys may
remember this. One of the teachers comes out and asks
him for his report and he's like, oh, yeah, that

(01:03:17):
was that do and I didn't know that. And then
somebody else, the ceramics teacher wants an ashtray or something
like that, or you, somebody else asked for your report
and you.

Speaker 17 (01:03:26):
Go, uh yeah, I'll get that as soon as I
get done with Saramix. And you looked at me and I.

Speaker 5 (01:03:32):
Went, don't laugh, don't laugh.

Speaker 24 (01:03:36):
And I really didn't want to laugh, and you looked
at me and I went, you mean ceramics, and you went, yeah,
the ashtray class. And then somebody else says something to
you and you you said, yeah, Matthews, you.

Speaker 17 (01:03:50):
Got to be and you go, yeah, see there did
that hurt? I? Was literally that closed from just losing
it because it was so funny.

Speaker 7 (01:03:58):
That's my favorite thing is knowing all of you so
well that when you watch the show, you don't see
the break, but we what's there?

Speaker 3 (01:04:06):
That was right, Yeah, that was tony. Although we did
put out that call at the end of that one
episode where Ben broke and we were like, could people tell,
And we got a lot of comments that people could tell. Yeah,
people could like it felt so natural. Yeah, but yeah,
we can see it from a mile, especially me. I'm like,
I have this look on my face and I'm about to.

Speaker 5 (01:04:23):
Last see you. It's a lip quiver.

Speaker 3 (01:04:24):
It's so painful.

Speaker 22 (01:04:26):
You do you do?

Speaker 5 (01:04:27):
It was like a lower lip lego.

Speaker 3 (01:04:29):
Yeah, and the other one I obviously remember.

Speaker 6 (01:04:32):
Oddly enough, we.

Speaker 7 (01:04:32):
Were also on a red couch, so that's you know
you and that REDU.

Speaker 6 (01:04:39):
I don't think we even finally got through that scene.

Speaker 5 (01:04:41):
Some of the other stuff where we broke a lot
was and that people don't you see him? They last
for fifteen seconds. But we used to have to do
a lot of those, like from our family to yours
Happy Holidays, and it'd be the whole cast and the
Matthews couch and then they just stand on the other
side and they'd be like, Okay, so you're just gonna
say from our family to yours, happy holidays, and for
some reason, all of us together trying to sink our voices,

(01:05:04):
and like one person would be a little bit off,
and we'd do it over and over again, and you
feel already kind of cheesy doing it and then knowing
which person's a little late, and then we would lose
it and it'd be like they'd be frustrated because they
just really want to get this little bumper or it's
a two minute thing. But we would then be laughing
and be like, Okay, we got to keep it together,
everybody from our family to yours. So I remember a

(01:05:25):
lot of those those moments where we would all end up.

Speaker 3 (01:05:28):
Break the teenage witch.

Speaker 6 (01:05:30):
Please we can't.

Speaker 5 (01:05:33):
Yeah, thank you for thank you.

Speaker 3 (01:05:40):
I love you guys.

Speaker 19 (01:05:42):
So my question was for something that one of you
guys did in season seven. I'm sure you guys will
talk about it when it gets there, but I was
rewatching myself and it's hilarious. So Danielle your eye quiver
that you yes, My question was, how did you just

(01:06:02):
do that?

Speaker 5 (01:06:03):
Like you they knew I have this weird thing that
my mom pointed out to me once where So my
mom and I used to run lines together. My mom
was my biggest support. She's the young We've talked about
it many times. The unsung hero of Tapanga was really
Jennifer Fischal, And I'd like to say she was here tonight,

(01:06:23):
but she didn't want to drive up in traffic, so
you can tell how supportive she is. Just getting love you, mom.
So we used to run lines together all the time,
and she would look at me if I had like
a hair in my face or anything, and instead of
her just telling me, she would start moving a fake
hair out of her face. And so I could always
tell when I was doing something or she wanted me

(01:06:43):
to do something, because she'd start going and I'd be like,
do I have a hair in my face? And she'd go, yeah, yeah,
it's just like so she would like feel it on her.
So one day we're running lines and she goes, why
are you doing that? Where are you doing that? And
I'm like, why am I doing what? She goes, one
eye is opening before the other one. You're you're blinking,
but one eye is opening before the other. And I

(01:07:05):
was like, Oh, it's definitely not She's like, no, it is.
It's like half a second, I promise you. It's like
you open your eye and this one opens first, and
then this one delays. And so then when I was
repeating lines back to her, I just started being like,
what are you talking about? It's definitely I don't know,
I don't know what you're talking about. It's definitely not happening.
And so we realized that I had this talent, if
you will. And so when the time came that that

(01:07:27):
episode of Boy Meets World was happening, and which is
the wedding episode, right, the wedding episode, and Tapanga was
supposed to be just fraught with anxiety and emotion, I
pulled that talent out and showed my mom that it
comes in handy.

Speaker 12 (01:07:41):
You know.

Speaker 16 (01:07:48):
That's one of my all time favorite moments on the
show though, when he says Topanga, I love you, and
then they cut to you and you're going, that was
the funniest thing.

Speaker 17 (01:07:58):
It was so it was so appropriate that you would
make that face.

Speaker 5 (01:08:02):
War for this guy.

Speaker 15 (01:08:04):
Hello, sorry, you're real Okay, First off, breaking to my question,
I just want to say thank you. Uh childhood wasn't
always the easiest, do you guys have like the show
just everybody brought on such warmth, like everyone even the police,
and you turn it on. I'd watch the show and
you'd be like, Oh, everything's great right now.

Speaker 6 (01:08:25):
I love this girl. So just thank you for that.

Speaker 9 (01:08:29):
Thank you.

Speaker 6 (01:08:33):
This question is for writer, so.

Speaker 15 (01:08:37):
I know the whole thing, like with sitcoms when you
say laugh you got a hold for applause. I was
on my I was watching I actually I think it
goes on my second time watching it, and I got
my wife to start watching it with me, and so
we watched it all the way through. And I've noticed,
besides the whole for applause, whenever Ben and Danielle would
would kiss for an extended period of time, the wars

(01:08:58):
would happen. You would usually be in this there too,
And for some reason, I'd always be looking at you
and being like, what is he doing right now? Well
he waits for them to disengage, Like just do you
go somewhere do you like to like pass the time?

Speaker 6 (01:09:13):
I was just curious, you know the genius.

Speaker 3 (01:09:16):
Actually it's a great question. I mean what really it
is such a weird art form, like the thing about
sitcom and like we we learned it by the pilot,
but every time we'd have a guest star, if they
hadn't done it sitcom, they wouldn't know to hold for
laughs because it's so awkward. It's the weird and we
haven't talked about it in the podcast. I've actually thought
about this. It's such a weird skill that you have

(01:09:37):
to like turn off your brain. You have to, like
because if you change your facial expression, the audience will
stop laughing. So you have to hold whatever, look your
hold if you land on a joke. The other thing
is Michael always used to say, never walk on a laugh.
You can't move on a laugh. So you notice in
sitcom it's like everybody's brain sort of pauses and you're

(01:09:58):
all just in this like Arrest did. Like it's so
weird and we're all used to it, but if you
watch somebody not do it, if you have an actor
like actually walking along it was a piece of Confederate
every five minutes. Yeah, it's such a weird art. And
I don't know, man, I don't know, Like we just
learned it our brains just do you guys are at it? Thanks,

(01:10:20):
But yeah, we would have stares come on and they
wouldn't know to do that, and it would be a disaster,
like the first take with the audience and they would
be like, you got to hold for your laugh, and
we'd have to teach them, you know, like well, it's.

Speaker 5 (01:10:30):
Also it's also one of those great things about having
a live studio audience where there would be laughs that
we throughout the week hadn't accounted for as being laughs,
where every now and then somebody says a line and
we all look at each other like that's a laugh,
And now we all look at each other like hold hold,
hold that. That's a great question.

Speaker 6 (01:10:53):
Great question.

Speaker 19 (01:10:57):
This will be the last question.

Speaker 3 (01:10:59):
This is the last question.

Speaker 6 (01:11:02):
Thank you for coming up with the idea.

Speaker 5 (01:11:03):
Thank you so much.

Speaker 7 (01:11:04):
Thank you.

Speaker 5 (01:11:05):
Really we needed this.

Speaker 3 (01:11:07):
Your idea got us here right.

Speaker 12 (01:11:11):
What is your name, Sydney?

Speaker 5 (01:11:12):
Thank you to Sydney, and.

Speaker 3 (01:11:16):
Thank you Sydney.

Speaker 12 (01:11:18):
Well, this is weird because I feel like I'm just
hanging out with old friends.

Speaker 5 (01:11:22):
You are, that's right.

Speaker 12 (01:11:25):
I have a questions for anyone. Is there anything from
Boing Me Its World, a moment or an episode that
you wish you could relive again for the first time?

Speaker 19 (01:11:36):
Oh, what a good.

Speaker 5 (01:11:37):
Question, boy, let's start down, Danny. Do you want to
be put on the spot or do you want me
to start down here?

Speaker 9 (01:11:44):
Start with them?

Speaker 5 (01:11:47):
I keep I know, I always I.

Speaker 7 (01:11:48):
Just always first say something profound right now, Wait, there's
another one, another one, y, you're doing it.

Speaker 3 (01:11:58):
Really, it's a great question.

Speaker 5 (01:12:04):
It is such a good question.

Speaker 6 (01:12:05):
I'm so glad I'm not blake.

Speaker 17 (01:12:07):
I have time to think.

Speaker 3 (01:12:09):
Right, I'm stalling for you.

Speaker 11 (01:12:14):
I'm either gonna like kind of suck a tiny bit
and like really okay and to you guys, or I'm going.

Speaker 3 (01:12:21):
To really drill you, like drop some sick bomb you're like.

Speaker 5 (01:12:26):
I did mean the ashes up your story about writing
every day was a real great bomb drop. So if
you could just repeat that for us with this answer.

Speaker 3 (01:12:40):
You don't care about what I'm going to say. You're
waiting for rider.

Speaker 9 (01:12:47):
And past.

Speaker 6 (01:12:50):
I'm just kidding love me. Yes, Yes, I think.

Speaker 9 (01:13:04):
I think.

Speaker 11 (01:13:06):
What I would want to re live is the moment
I did Pod Meats World and I went from like
suspicious because they kind of always seemed a little too
nice on set, and I thought it was maybe a
little bit patronizing because I was like lower cast, right,

(01:13:35):
and they were like younger than me, so I was
like extra humiliating.

Speaker 3 (01:13:41):
And then when I did the like podcast, the.

Speaker 11 (01:13:45):
Moment that it was like the twist ending where I
realized they weren't faking it and they were authentically a
collection of like the most warm, like profoundly and deeply
sweet people you could like ever meet. And like when
Danielle gave that like story about the island, like that

(01:14:06):
was so well thought of it. And then when she
said like you are with friends, she fucking needs it,
and I so relieve in the moment I realized how
much she means it for me. In the moment that
I realized it, that's that's mine.

Speaker 9 (01:14:22):
Does everyone we can't beat?

Speaker 3 (01:14:29):
I was gonna say, once again, what do you got, Ethan?

Speaker 9 (01:14:32):
I would like to redo the wrestling scene.

Speaker 23 (01:14:39):
Would you at the ring?

Speaker 9 (01:14:40):
Well?

Speaker 10 (01:14:41):
I would like to actually fight some of the guys
I threatened to fight now you're ready, or go into
it going like I know what I'm gonna I know
what's gonna happen, and not react to them.

Speaker 9 (01:14:52):
I would like one of those two. I'd like to
re experience it twice.

Speaker 13 (01:14:56):
And have both of those things.

Speaker 3 (01:14:59):
That's awesome. My answer is is kind of generic.

Speaker 9 (01:15:01):
I would.

Speaker 3 (01:15:02):
I just want to go backstage to the moments before
we were introduced to the audience. It could have been
any night. Yeah, I would relive because we all gather backstage,
we have our rituals. You guys have heard about a
lot of them with like d D and there was
candles involved, and there was a Buddha and there were
scream will and I did this handslap and it's just

(01:15:24):
like there's all these rituals that yeah, they're just like
they're they're in me, and I would love to relive
those together and that sense of like, oh tonight's the
show night. It's just so exciting. So yeah, any any
night of the of the seven years.

Speaker 6 (01:15:37):
That's a great answer.

Speaker 7 (01:15:39):
I would like to go back to the first answer
Blake gave earlier tonight. No, I mine is actually I would.
I want to go back to the moment I found
out I got the show. It was a the the
phone Bank, which was right across from the Ripley's Believe
It or Not Museum in Hollywood. The own bank was

(01:16:00):
there actual payphones until like five years ago. And I
could drive by the phone and my dad was there,
and I didn't think I got it, and he said,
call your agent, and I called my agent and I
was jumping up and down the street. I was sixteen
and I was on a sitcom, and it was just
it was a wonderful moment in my life.

Speaker 6 (01:16:15):
So that's the moment I would go back.

Speaker 5 (01:16:21):
I would definitely go back to that first season, and
I wouldn't go back to my Tapanga's first episode, because,
as you guys have heard me talk about, there were
a lot of highs and lows that week, but almost
any other episode in that first season where I was
just so wide eyed and so absolutely thrilled to be

(01:16:43):
on that set and to be learning the things I
was learning, and to be experiencing all the things that
writer said like a part of, you know, a cast.
I remember the first time I got the first invitation
I got for the Christmas party. The invitation actually really
said the first annual Boy Meets World Christmas Party, and

(01:17:04):
I said to my mom, annual. That means it happens
every year, and she was like, yeah, like what does
that mean? But I just felt even seeing annual, I
knew I was now part of something that if we
were lucky enough for it to continue, it was going
to be a family that went we were going to

(01:17:25):
have this every year. It meant every year.

Speaker 3 (01:17:28):
And I still have that here do you yep?

Speaker 5 (01:17:31):
The invitation that stuff? Of course you do, you little horder,
I do. So here we are now twenty nine years later,
and we have this annual thing that I.

Speaker 6 (01:17:43):
You know, it means every year.

Speaker 5 (01:17:44):
It sure it does, and I love it ough fee.

Speaker 21 (01:17:51):
I feel so much the same way that a lot
of you talked about when we first would go out
and we would bond and so on. And I have
to say, probably the thing I was the most thrilled
about is that when they cast Rusty because they didn't
I had a different husband for the pilot, Matt McCoy,
and he was great, but we didn't really have the
same chemistry that I had with Rusty. And I was

(01:18:13):
so relieved that I liked this guy that I thought
it was cute, but it was not just that. It
was just something clicked between us that I thought, Okay,
I think we can make this last. And so that
was really important to me because that was obviously we

(01:18:33):
were a unit, and it was very important to have that.
But I also just fell in love with all of you.
Don't make me cry, and so I really did have
that experience. And the thing about our set is that
I had lots of actors that could guess star on
the show at different times over the years, and they
all commented and how kind everyone was and what a

(01:18:57):
great cast we were and so on, and that's that's
really great.

Speaker 5 (01:19:02):
You know that there was no snobs.

Speaker 21 (01:19:04):
There was no snobbing going on in any way. Then
my favorite thing was when I got to be a
Russian spy, which I sort of feel weird about about
saying that now, but I said, but I'm not not
happy about that. Okay, let's not go there. I'm just
saying that I love to say you have the bag bush.

Speaker 5 (01:19:31):
We've all talked about it so much on the podcast.
But I know that the three of us certainly all
thought that you and Rusty had known each other for decades,
you guys, that you guys had together and you both
wore clogs, and it was like both you guys both
wore these clogs that you look like, you guys had
matching shoes, And I just not, how were you not

(01:19:54):
married in real life, you guys? And yet you know
we love your spouse's too, But there you guys did
you had such a such a great chemistry and it
was so it was palpable to everybody who watched and
to all of us on set, and thank you for
blessing us with Thank you, Tony, thank you Rusty. Wish
you were here.

Speaker 16 (01:20:11):
If I could go back and experience it wouldn't be
one moment, it would be a series of moments.

Speaker 17 (01:20:18):
I mean, I loved working with.

Speaker 16 (01:20:20):
All of you, and I think the whole cast just
had great chemistry with We all had great chemistry with everybody.
But the things that I really look back on that
show and cherish is the relationship that writer and I had,
the things that they had us doing.

Speaker 17 (01:20:36):
I really feel like we were on track to become
one of the great screen friendships.

Speaker 16 (01:20:43):
Because just the nature of our relationship was you were
teaching me, I was teaching you, and I could tell that.

Speaker 17 (01:20:50):
We really loved each other.

Speaker 16 (01:20:53):
And I would like to go back and experience those
moments again, fresh every time, because it was always so
wonderful to work with you.

Speaker 9 (01:21:00):
Great working with you.

Speaker 14 (01:21:01):
Man.

Speaker 3 (01:21:03):
It should have kept going.

Speaker 25 (01:21:05):
That's a loss.

Speaker 3 (01:21:06):
It should have kept going.

Speaker 6 (01:21:08):
So many lost opportunities.

Speaker 8 (01:21:10):
One of one of my favorite episodes because my mom
was in the audience watching. It was with Betsy, and
we had that wonderful, wonderful scene together. If I can
go back and do that all over and just relive
that moment, Oh.

Speaker 6 (01:21:27):
I still remember that.

Speaker 5 (01:21:28):
It's one of my favorites.

Speaker 8 (01:21:29):
It was my favorite.

Speaker 3 (01:21:30):
And that's awesome.

Speaker 17 (01:21:35):
That's awesome.

Speaker 3 (01:21:36):
Thanks man, thank you, thank you.

Speaker 14 (01:21:39):
Thank you.

Speaker 5 (01:21:41):
Well that was my goodness. I would like to give
one last final, very special thank you to Hyundai for
making this entire evening possible for all of us, flying
everyone out, having everybody here. And we'd also like to
give a special shout out to the charity that we

(01:22:03):
are donating part of these proceeds to the National Alliance
on Mental Illness. To donate, you can visit NAMI dot org.

Speaker 17 (01:22:11):
Very important.

Speaker 3 (01:22:12):
Please go. Uh are we to the rider portion of
the We sure are.

Speaker 5 (01:22:17):
We've been talking about dreams coming true.

Speaker 3 (01:22:20):
Okay, We're going to go back to the nineties for
a second. And do you guys remember my dressing room
that I didn't decorate. People decorated their dress room. No, no, oh, sir,
I did nothing except one thing. Do you guys remember
what I did?

Speaker 12 (01:22:34):
No?

Speaker 3 (01:22:34):
No, I would only go back to my dress room.
For one thing, I put glow in the dark stars
all over the room. I did the walls, and then
I bought a boombox and I had and what I
would do is I would lie there and listen to
music in the dark. And that was how I chilled out.
And we would go. I remember, we would go and

(01:22:56):
buy c these at the Virgin Megastore or record we
get a stack. So our next guest was one of
my favorite artists from the era, and I remember nineteen
ninety seven, her second album, Firecracker, came out and I
remember bringing it to the dressing room and just listening to.

Speaker 5 (01:23:14):
It on repeat over and armer.

Speaker 3 (01:23:16):
So, please welcome for a special performance, Lisa Looe.

Speaker 14 (01:23:34):
Oh wow, so cool.

Speaker 5 (01:23:37):
This is a special song for you writer.

Speaker 3 (01:23:43):
Amazing.

Speaker 4 (01:23:58):
You say, I only hear what I want to. You say,
I talk so all the time, so.

Speaker 25 (01:24:21):
And about what it felt simple and about that don't
belong and now that I can't leave it now I
know that it did something wrong because I missed you.

Speaker 20 (01:24:35):
Yeah, yeah, I missed you.

Speaker 4 (01:24:44):
And you say, I only hear what I want to.

Speaker 25 (01:24:49):
I don't listen hard, don't pay attention to the distance
that you're running.

Speaker 20 (01:24:54):
To anyone anywhere.

Speaker 4 (01:24:56):
Don't understand if you really care.

Speaker 20 (01:24:58):
I'm only hearing negative, no, no, no bad to the radio, on,
to the radio up.

Speaker 25 (01:25:07):
And this woman was seeing my song lovers in a
thether and the others run away.

Speaker 20 (01:25:12):
Lover is crying, the other won't stay. So mother severn,
we weep for the other.

Speaker 5 (01:25:18):
Who was dying since a day they were born. Well,
well this is not that thing.

Speaker 20 (01:25:23):
That a brown.

Speaker 14 (01:25:24):
But I'm thrown.

Speaker 25 (01:25:26):
And I thought I loved forever, but now I'm not
as sure. You're trying to tell me that I'm clever,
but that won't do me anyhow.

Speaker 20 (01:25:33):
Alreadywhere with you? You said that I was nigh even
I thought that I was strong hold. I thought, hey,
I can leave, I can leave home.

Speaker 14 (01:25:47):
Now I know that I was wrong because I missed you.

Speaker 5 (01:25:53):
Yeah, missed.

Speaker 14 (01:25:56):
You said you call me because you want me.

Speaker 20 (01:26:02):
I wouldn't let me go. You try to keep away and.

Speaker 4 (01:26:04):
Keep it or keep me because you know you're just
so scared to loose.

Speaker 5 (01:26:12):
And you say.

Speaker 14 (01:26:17):
Stay, you say, I only hear what I want to.

(01:26:43):
Thank you, thank you, thank you.

Speaker 20 (01:26:46):
Oh my gosh, wow, I just did.

Speaker 25 (01:26:52):
A weird puppet wave like hi, like finger puppet.

Speaker 23 (01:26:56):
Like, Hey, like I'm long nails or something.

Speaker 5 (01:27:00):
Hi, thank you so much for being here with us.

Speaker 25 (01:27:03):
This is such a fun celebration.

Speaker 5 (01:27:05):
I mean, let us tell you you are definitely one
of the one of the people that when we were
approached about doing this idea and we were like, well,
we'd only really want to do it if we could
have it be really cool, like bring all of these
people out and maybe a performance by Lisa Lobe. And
then when they made it come true.

Speaker 19 (01:27:23):
It was like, what.

Speaker 6 (01:27:26):
It's happening.

Speaker 5 (01:27:27):
It's actually happening. So thank you so much for being here.

Speaker 23 (01:27:30):
Oh, this is so great to be here.

Speaker 25 (01:27:32):
I thought you were gonna say, and then there just
we're gonna be baby tigers and donuts too.

Speaker 23 (01:27:36):
Wouldn't that because donut emplorium and I was so excited.

Speaker 5 (01:27:39):
Wouldn't that have been great? Do you have a show
that was like a show that you like, a comfort
show that you loved growing up, that was like your
boy Meets World?

Speaker 25 (01:27:49):
What was it? I had so many shows this was
before the internet, like The Breedy Bunch.

Speaker 5 (01:27:56):
Bewitched, Yes, I love Bewitched.

Speaker 25 (01:27:59):
Yet of shows my mother said, I didn't watch a
lot of shows, but I watched all the shows. It
was in a different era.

Speaker 5 (01:28:06):
Yes, right, Well, would you mind doing another song for us?

Speaker 25 (01:28:11):
Sure, I'll do one more. I'm trying to think if
I should do an upbeat one. Do you want an
upbeat one? Or do you want to like a ASMR
relaxed moment?

Speaker 3 (01:28:20):
Anybody a proudence? What'd you say?

Speaker 25 (01:28:26):
A riles of Okay, okay, I'm going to Actually, this
one actually has the word. The first word is writing,
so it's kind of perfect.

Speaker 14 (01:28:35):
It was inspired by you.

Speaker 25 (01:28:38):
I wanted a verbe that kind of felt like you
when I wrote it. It's from an album called A
Simple Trick to Happiness, And I also feel like since
I was here and soaking all this up, this is
a song about sometimes you just pinch yourself. You can't
believe this is your.

Speaker 5 (01:28:55):
Life, you know?

Speaker 25 (01:28:56):
Yeah, riding on the waterline, trying to figure out a

(01:29:17):
fine above the fall. Maybe I should take some time
and practice staring at the wall. When looking through the glass,
