Speaker 1 (00:22):
Welcome to Grace Grace with Nina Michelle. I'm Michelle Humphries
and I am Nina Kigan.

Speaker 2 (00:27):
Welcome to our broadcast today. Today we're going to be
talking about how we got together and how we are
doing ministry together. And we recently did two episodes. You
might want to go back and check those out.

Speaker 3 (00:40):
It's the interviews that we.

Speaker 2 (00:42):
Did of each other, how we got saved, and how
we came to know the Lord, and how we met.
But now we're going to talk about everything that's happened
to us ministry wise and all that we're doing and
what we feel God's got next for us. So this
is kind of an interesting topic. We're just gonna kind.

Speaker 3 (01:01):
Of get with this. But we left off that you
and I met.

Speaker 2 (01:05):
Because she she's randomly showed up at my house when
she felt the Lord told her to as she was
working for CBN, and the Lord led her to my
house in the time of a great turmoil in my
life that I was crying out to the Lord and
she just randomly happened to be at my door.

Speaker 3 (01:23):
And since then we have been inseparable.

Speaker 2 (01:27):
And so many people ask us how we started our program.

Speaker 3 (01:32):
So that's a very interesting story.

Speaker 1 (01:34):
Yeah, when I first met Nina, she was, you know,
a partner with CIBEN and I worked with CBN and
we heard about this pastor in Burkina Fassa, and.

Speaker 4 (01:54):
The Lord gave us a burden.

Speaker 1 (01:56):
That this man wanted his vision in this strange part
of Africa that we had never heard of. It's West Africa,
it is in the French speaking part of Africa.

Speaker 3 (02:06):
It's a very Muslim area.

Speaker 1 (02:07):
Yes, and this Christian pastor wanted to build an entire
school to begin to educate people child.

Speaker 3 (02:16):
Yes.

Speaker 1 (02:17):
So so we felt the burden of the Lord for
this particular school, in this particular project, and that was
our first ministry project together. And and in one night
we raised all the money for this school and within
seven months there were three hundred kids sitting in class
being educated in a It was like a bomb went

(02:40):
off in the middle of a Muslim country with Christianity,
you know, and it was and then the same thing happened.
We built a second school, and then we began to
kind of travel around well that the world was.

Speaker 2 (02:52):
We were watching the videos of it going up in
real time, and we you know, we had people that
were donating all the bunk beds and the Q dormitories
and it just everything. But the backstory of that was
this pastor was literally people were just selling their children,
selling their children like for twenty dollars and they would

(03:13):
sell them into sex, slavery and things and for drug.

Speaker 1 (03:16):
Mare where they would let him get married to some
old man, you know, like a little girl, and it
just was it was corruption at the core.

Speaker 4 (03:25):
And we you know, we heard about this and.

Speaker 2 (03:29):
He would literally buy the children instead of letting the
drug dealers have them. And it was such a powerful
ministry what he was doing. And then they were trying
to raid the school and it had to be in fence,
they had to have guards.

Speaker 1 (03:44):
It was just and you think about yeah, and he
is in like it talk about, you know, one of
the most remote places on the earth.

Speaker 4 (03:54):
He was. What he had was prayer.

Speaker 1 (03:57):
And a connection to CBAN and whenever, you know, we
began to ask the Lord, what do you want us
to do? I CBN sent me some projects and my
husband Troy said, you know, Michelle, why were you crying
in your sleep? And I said, what, I don't even
remember crying in my sleep. So I said, hold on

(04:19):
and I remembered why I was crying in my sleep.
It was for that school that God wanted to raise
up kids in that part of Africa to serve him
and to begin to bring that nation out of poverty.
And so we had we had this fundraiser.

Speaker 3 (04:39):
At my neighbor's house.

Speaker 2 (04:41):
We went to my neighbor's house and we just invited
everybody we knew. We had people donate items that we
would auction off, and boom, we had the money for.

Speaker 3 (04:50):
The school and it went up.

Speaker 2 (04:53):
And then we did a second school, and you know,
God just began to use us in such amazing ways.
And we had begun to travel different places and where
we were praying for groups and praying for people, praying
you know, a lot of times the trips you go
on you have a bus ride every day, and we
were able to you know, we had microphones and we

(05:14):
were preaching on buses in different parts of the world,
different parts of the world.

Speaker 1 (05:18):
And we've had so much fun doing the work of
the Lord, you know, as like, for example, we went
to Africa and we were with the Messiah. It was
like stepping back in history like a thousand years and
we the orphans promise of CBN had and we still
give to Orphans Promise through Grace.

Speaker 4 (05:37):
Grace. Orphans Promise had built.

Speaker 1 (05:40):
A school in the middle of their tribe and so
we went to see it and it was like what
you just couldn't believe that this was real life, right, because.

Speaker 2 (05:52):
Educating here are not of poverty. Yeah, and even where
these children literally their nourishment came from the blood of
God blood oak goats. Only they would stab them in
the neck, drink this blood and then sew their necks
back up and it was literally all they had.

Speaker 3 (06:08):
And then Seeban came in and taught.

Speaker 2 (06:10):
Them how to garden, and they had a seed.

Speaker 4 (06:14):
Program which is and water wells.

Speaker 3 (06:16):
Yeah.

Speaker 2 (06:17):
And so we we kind of just have been able
to be part of all of these things. And that's
what you, our donors, are part of too, because all
of your giving gets gets tithed over to those projects that.

Speaker 1 (06:29):
In fact, everything that we that we bring in at
this time, we pour it back out to get the
gospel out all over the world and uh, and also
to take care of widows and orphans.

Speaker 2 (06:43):
And that's really it's our hearts, both of us and
you know, God, God tells us it's like a mandate
to take care of.

Speaker 1 (06:50):
Those and there's not one penny. I mean, we don't
take money from the ministry. We just pour it all
back in and so and the Lord has blessed it.
I mean it has just organically grown.

Speaker 3 (07:02):
Yes.

Speaker 2 (07:02):
So one day we decided, just just randomly that while
we were helping and working out in CBN, there was
there was a woman that had a television show that
reached the Muslim world and she had her one of
her stations was out of a station in Houston, and

(07:22):
she had asked us if we would, because we're in Houston,
would go and renegotiate her contract for her at a
station in Houston.

Speaker 3 (07:30):
And so we just say, oh, yeah, sure, we'll do that.

Speaker 2 (07:33):
And so Michelle and I headed down there one day
to go meet with the guy for her to talk
about her contract. And in the meantime, you know, we're
both I'm writing my blogs and I'm writing, you're working
with cbn'm I'm doing devotional writing, and.

Speaker 1 (07:50):
We're just kind of doing projects here and there together.

Speaker 2 (07:53):
Yeah, and so we show up at his the STEV station,
and the guy is a christ and you could feel
the Lord and you could feel the glory and it
was just a really cool divine appointment in our lives,
and we start talking to him and we are going
to tell you more about that what happened as soon

(08:13):
as we come right back. You're watching Grace Grace with
Nina and Michelle.

Speaker 5 (08:17):

Speaker 3 (09:16):
Now welcome back.

Speaker 2 (09:20):
You are watching Grace Grace with Nina m. Michelle, and
we're telling you, guys how we got started in television
and in ministry in general. So we left off where
we show up to negotiate TV time for this this
friend of ours who had a television program. And this
guy starts telling us we could feel the Holy Spirit,

(09:41):
and he starts telling us you too need a television
right because.

Speaker 1 (09:43):
We're kind of sharing how we met and you know
how we got to know one another and what the
Lord was doing and you could feel the Lord.

Speaker 4 (09:51):
And he just said, you guys should have a show.
And we laughed that, we really laughed.

Speaker 2 (09:57):
He just he he was like relent about it almost
he kept saying, no, I'm not kidding, and then he
started getting like really serious about it, like he's like,
I'm telling you that whatever the price that I just
gave her, you guys should have that will do the
same for you.

Speaker 3 (10:13):
And we were like, well, we don't have a TV show.

Speaker 1 (10:15):
Well, and you know, I thought, you know, I was
fulfilling what the Lord had shown me when I was
seventeen by broadcasting the gospel. You know, I was working
with CBN, So I thought, well, this is what I'm doing.
I am broadcasting the gospel and making that happen, you know.
And so I hadn't really thought about, like, let's branch
off and have our own program, you know. So that

(10:39):
was really We literally laughed until we cried all the
way home. And then we said, I said, you know, Nina,
when I was at CBN for an event recently, there
was a pastor there from the Houston area and he
said that God told him to build a studio and
he didn't even have a TV program and that, and

(11:02):
then he also, I don't even know if I ever
shared this with you. While I was there, he prophesied
to me and he said, you don't realize it, but
you are just like within a breath of what God
actually wants you to do, and you're about to walk
in it. And I didn't, you know, I thought, hm,

(11:24):
you know, because you don't know what they're you know,
with a prophecy, you test the spirits, you put it
on a shelf and you see if that's what the
Lord means or or what you know. And I really
didn't know him that well. So I said, you know,
there's this pastor and he built the studio and he
doesn't have a show, so maybe we could ask him.

Speaker 2 (11:42):
I called him and I left him a message and
made an appointment with him, and he had messaged back, yep,
come and meet.

Speaker 3 (11:50):
But we never told him what we wanted.

Speaker 2 (11:52):
And so when we got to the meeting, he said,
I already know what you want. The Holy Spirit came
before you and told told me the studios yours and
you can use it for free.

Speaker 3 (12:03):
And so it was like we.

Speaker 2 (12:06):
Said to God, we said, you know, if you really
want us to have a TV show, which still cracked
us up so much because it's like I said, I
have no business beyond TV. I almost passed out talking
in front of the golf team when I was the
golf team, mom and I thought. And then traveling around
the world I used to hate. I was afraid of
flying all before.

Speaker 4 (12:26):
I was, you know safe.

Speaker 2 (12:28):
Well, I was saved, but I still had a lot
of anxiety until I really got with the Lord on that.

Speaker 3 (12:32):
But it was funny it's like I can't be on TV.

Speaker 2 (12:35):
I mean, so, you know, God, God does use the
foolish things to shame the wise, and so he gives
us this, this whole studio to use. We wind up
getting a production team. It was just like somebody knew somebody.
It was like boom, boom boom. Everything was set in
place and the doors were opening, and then you were
at a funeral in like our very We got on

(12:58):
that station in Houston, and then you were at a
funeral in Louisiana.

Speaker 1 (13:02):
And I had worked for this man right out of
college and he had a TV station and he happened
to go to my father in lost funeral and he
walks down the aisle of the of you know, the
funeral home, you know, before the service got started, and
Nina came to the funeral and.

Speaker 4 (13:23):
I see him and I say, Hi.

Speaker 1 (13:26):
It was Barry Thompson from kaj N out of Louisiana,
and I'm like, hey, brother Barry. You know we still
called each other brother and sister. That's what you know.

Speaker 4 (13:36):
When I first got saved, you called people brother and sister.
I'm my brother, Barry, how are you?

Speaker 1 (13:41):
And I said, this is this is Nina, and we
started talking about, you know, how the Lord had shown
us this and he said, okay, well he said, I'll
put you on.

Speaker 4 (13:53):
You know, and so there.

Speaker 3 (13:54):
Was our second TV station.

Speaker 2 (13:56):
And then it was interesting because one day she said
that she had seen a pop up on her computer
as an advertisement and for NRB, which is National Religious
Radio and Broadcast, and it's a giant convention.

Speaker 1 (14:10):
I was just doing my regular Bible study and I
don't get pop ups, and I got a pop up,
and oh my goodness, it just pierced my heart. I
knew we had to go. So I called her as
soon as like as I mean, it was I don't
even know if the sun was hardly up and and
I said, I was laughing because I knew it was
going to be crazy because it was only in like

(14:30):
two weeks and it was in Nashville, and I said,
we have to go to this.

Speaker 4 (14:34):
Well.

Speaker 2 (14:34):
It's funny because we both kind of do this thing
like if she signs us up for something, or I
do this kind of kind of like okay, we're.

Speaker 3 (14:42):
Good whatever, and we're like, yes, we are going next,
guess what we're doing next.

Speaker 2 (14:46):
But she's she so I registered us for NRB, But
when our show was being played in Houston and Louisiana,
I would always take the shows, the programs and put
them on to social media, and so I had a
large following from the devotionals. I was writing over there
on Facebook and a lot of people are following me

(15:09):
over there, and someone from God TV saw.

Speaker 3 (15:14):
My post with a show and said, by any.

Speaker 2 (15:17):
Chance, are you guys going to be at NRB when
we just signed up like that morning.

Speaker 3 (15:21):
Yeah.

Speaker 2 (15:22):
And so so it's like God just keeps opening doors.
So we go to NRB and this guy from God TV,
who this place is massive. There's so many booths and
so many people. Everybody who has anybody to do with
Christian TV or radio or writing or anything is there.

Speaker 3 (15:42):
And yet this guy from.

Speaker 2 (15:43):
God TV, which is all over the globe, which we're
so grateful to be on, literally started showing us around
and getting us tickets into private meetings.

Speaker 3 (15:53):
And took us under his wing. That is God.

Speaker 2 (15:56):
That is all because I obeyed God at a point
in time to write a blog which led to a
Facebook ministry and us negoti shading a TV time for
someone else. And it was just like door open, open, open, open, open,
and so when it's of God, he makes it so easy.

(16:19):
When he says your yoka's easier burden is light. It's
not that it hasn't been full of warfare and hard things,
but He has opened the door every step of the way.
And that's how we know we're doing what God has
called us to do.

Speaker 1 (16:34):
And because there's no other explanation made it happen, and
we wouldn't have made it happen.

Speaker 4 (16:38):
We wouldn't have wanted to.

Speaker 1 (16:39):
I mean, yes, seriously, we were both, you know, pretty
content what we were doing, and then the Lord just
sort of opened the door and the the rest is
sort of history. When it comes to TV, it just
keeps growing and growing. And now we're on all these
different places and platforms, and you know, when you just.

Speaker 2 (17:00):
Amen God, he does the heavy lifting and he will
take you exactly where you.

Speaker 4 (17:05):
Need to be.

Speaker 2 (17:06):
We're going to talk more about that in just the
second when we come right back.

Speaker 1 (17:11):
We want to honor God because he sees everything.

Speaker 3 (17:19):
You were born with a plan and a purpose.

Speaker 2 (17:28):
He's the God of all things possible, He's the God
of all miracle.

Speaker 5 (17:39):

Speaker 3 (18:41):
Welcome back.

Speaker 2 (18:41):
You're watching Grace Grace with Nina m Michelle, and we're
just talking about how we got started because so many
people have asked, and so once our TV show got
rolling with God TV and all the rest, we have
had so much favor and we've we we now have
recently recently just started a new podcast and that's on

(19:01):
all of the podcast apps and it's all different content
from our program. But we're just all over social media
and we get invited. We've done some women's conferences and
God invites us to speak and we just we just
really feel like when you are walking in the spirit,

(19:22):
you He's going to take you where you need to be.
When you're walking in the flesh, it's always hard. You know,
God opens the doors you're supposed to go through. And
with this in ministry, we always pray the keys of David.
You know, we don't want to have any projects that
are not of Him, and that we ask God to
lock us out of those doors and for ishmail and

(19:43):
for him to throw open wide the doors that we
should go through.

Speaker 3 (19:47):
And it's been so fruitful.

Speaker 2 (19:49):
You know, we've heard back from people that they've gotten
saved watching our show or reading some of the things
that we write and post on our social media, and.

Speaker 3 (19:59):
I've been grateful every It's like even the way we.

Speaker 2 (20:01):
Met was just so crazy, and so it's all been
so divine, it really has.

Speaker 1 (20:08):
And it's also been you know, the Bible says that
the joy of the Lord is our strength. And I
will tell you know, from the minute I met Nina,
she would just.

Speaker 4 (20:21):
Be was like a sister. She really was.

Speaker 1 (20:23):
It just like I had known her forever. And we
have laughed until we cried. I cannot tell you how
many times. And we have genuinely traveled all over the
world and done ministry and it has been such a joy.
Whoever says it is boring to serve God has not

(20:44):
actually served him.

Speaker 4 (20:45):
They've only thought about it.

Speaker 1 (20:47):
Because if you say God, here I am send me,
he will do it.

Speaker 4 (20:53):
And you never know what that entails, right, And.

Speaker 2 (20:57):
Some of the things that we can look back at
and left now. We have been in some crazy hotels.
We've been sleeping with our Bibles and doors with the
with the chair blocked up.

Speaker 3 (21:08):
Against the door.

Speaker 2 (21:09):
We've had, We've been in crazy places. It has been
like where what is going on?

Speaker 1 (21:15):
And when we when we were in Africa, we talked
about that trip. When we were in Africa, we uh
the first night she was with her son in another tent,
and I was in a tent. It was a nice tin,
but still it's a tent and it's Africa.

Speaker 4 (21:33):
And so we monkeys that day.

Speaker 1 (21:35):
Yes, well, they said there were monkeys that could actually
get in your tent if you didn't close your tent properly.
And I have never listened so closely to directions in
my life because I thought, if I run into a
monkey in the middle.

Speaker 4 (21:47):
Of the night, I think I might just die. Right there.

Speaker 2 (21:50):
Oh, we were right outside the hippo river. They called
it the Hippo Highway, and so.

Speaker 4 (21:55):
Close sounded prehistoric, where.

Speaker 2 (21:57):
Hippos are the deadliest animal to mankind, not tigers, not lions,
it's a hippo. And so I remember us talking to
my other son and saying, we're right next to the hippos,
and he goes, you can't be that close. They're dangerous,
and I said, I literally did a video unzipped my
tent and I goes, there they are, like, that's how
closed we are to the hippos.

Speaker 3 (22:19):
And we could hear them.

Speaker 1 (22:20):
All night long, and it was very prehistoric sounding, it
really was. But I slept in my It was winter there,
so I slept in my entire like clothes with the
run ishoes, a coat, and my yeah, and my Bible.
I went ahead slept with my Bible because I thought,
you know, I've got to run out of here with it.

Speaker 2 (22:40):
We've had planes that couldn't land and brought us to
some other crazy place where we couldn't find a hotel
room for we had to stay in some crazy places.
And but you know, over and over again, God has
continually opened doors for us. He has caused us to
meet the most amazing people. We have you know, prayed

(23:01):
for so many powerful people. We've been part of a
leadership of faith leaders round table with the President of
the United States. We have been in so many amazing,
amazing things and and gotten to just pray in worship
and be with some very great uh situations and pastors

(23:23):
and places and you know, just forever.

Speaker 1 (23:26):
For it really has been a God adventure. That's the
only thing I can I can say, you know that what.

Speaker 3 (23:32):
Is a highlight for you?

Speaker 2 (23:33):
I know for me, when one of mine was when
Terry Mussen, who's always been I've always just just loved her.
She's a co host of seven hundred Club, and I've
always just loved and when she asked me to preach
at an Orphans Promise event and I thought, I've somebody
I've always watched and just just loved her.

Speaker 3 (23:56):
Her.

Speaker 2 (23:56):
She's so inspiring to me asking me to to speak that.

Speaker 3 (24:00):
You know, there's things like that that I'll just be
so grateful for it.

Speaker 4 (24:04):
That's a highlight. Yeah, there are so many there.

Speaker 3 (24:06):
I know, it's hard to pick just one.

Speaker 1 (24:08):
Just being able to be used of the Lord is
such an honor. And today, if you're sitting and you
feel like you've gotten in a rut, just ask the
Lord what next? And I mean, you know, just ask
the Lord, say God, I want to walk in your
spirit and he will show you. So why don't we pray?

(24:30):
You know, because God wants you to have a life
of adventure and service to him and he's going to
speak to you, I believe, and tell you what's next
for you. So let's let's just pray right now. Father,
thank you for everyone listening today. Thank you for all

(24:51):
the things that you have done four Nina and I
and through us. What an honor, what a privileged lord
to serve Jesus and God. We pray for every person
that is listening or watching today that they will know
the will of God for their life, that you will
speak to them and give them divine direction, and that

(25:11):
God that the ministry that you have for.

Speaker 4 (25:13):
Them will unfold. Lord, we pray and just.

Speaker 1 (25:18):
Give them just a new lease on life. Yes, Lord
and Jesus' name. Amen, Amen, Amen.

Speaker 2 (25:25):
We are so glad you watched our broadcast today. You
can keep up with us on the go. We have
a new podcast. You can find us on all of
the podcast apps.

Speaker 3 (25:34):
We are all over social media.

Speaker 2 (25:36):
We are on Rumble, and we just want you to
know that we are so grateful every time that you
guys write to us. Leave us your prayer request, let
us know how we're doing, let us know your questions.

Speaker 3 (25:47):
We love hearing from you.

Speaker 2 (25:48):
I also have two books filled with the Word of
God and devotions, and some proceeds from them go to
help our orphans projects and you can find those wherever
books are sold. We are so glad that you guys
joined us. You have to stay tuned for a message
from our dear friend Darryl Youngblood, and we just know
that don't give up. God's got a plan for you.

(26:09):
God wants to use you. You just get in there. You
just stand strong, you start doing what the devil's telling
you you can't do because God wants to use you mightily.

Speaker 4 (26:19):
Amen, We love you.

Speaker 3 (26:20):
We love you guys. God bless you and have a
wonderful day.

Speaker 6 (26:24):
Does science disprove God? Is there a war between science
and faith? We don't need God to create a universe.
There's no evidence for God and it's irrational? Is there
no evidence for God? Am I delusional for my beliefs?
That is delusional and stupid? Am I brainwashed? Do I
ignore reason?

Speaker 5 (26:41):
Logic?

Speaker 6 (26:41):
Critical thinking?

Speaker 5 (26:43):
Science?

Speaker 6 (26:58):
Our dof uses logic and reasoning.

Speaker 5 (27:01):
Rdiof has empowered my sons to defend their faith with facts.
If you want to be equipped to defend against the
biggest objections existence of God, our dof is the place
for you. Has science really ruled out God's faith? At
war with science? If you want to be equipped to
respond to these claims and more, check out rdiof dot org.

Speaker 3 (27:33):
The evidence he presents is so powerful and overwhelming.

Speaker 6 (27:37):
Incredibly compelling, yet easily understand.

Speaker 5 (27:39):
The We believe in rationality, we believe in reason, we
believe in science, and we believe in the existence of God.

Speaker 6 (27:47):
I would leave.

Speaker 4 (27:48):
Every event with a mind boggling on assurance.

Speaker 7 (27:52):
I never believed in God. I just think it was craziness.
AUDIOF confirmed my faith. Rdof confirmed my full full faith,
and Lord Man, the.

Speaker 5 (28:04):
Appearance of design in the universe is undeniable.
