Speaker 1 (00:00):
Today on the Hope Connection.
Speaker 2 (00:02):
The energy of fear, the energy of terror, tries to
destroy and it causes your inner life not to be
a container in which God can pour out that faith
that you need to move, And there's got to be
this positive energy expectation for God to move. Can a
(00:28):
nation be born in a day? Can God suddenly do
the impossible? Can God turn your winter season into a springtime?
Can God take the declaration of death that maybe over
some of us death financially, death physically for me is
(00:51):
the death sentence of esophageal cancer. Can God take that
and turn it around and make something that looks so
it gets impossible possible?
Speaker 3 (01:07):
Find out how God can do the impossible in your life.

Perry with part two of his message, Hope's Blueprint.
Speaker 2 (02:17):
The First Corinthian Chapter eleven, the Bible declares that at
the table of the Lord people that come there to
have communion. That many of the folks in Paul's day
were sick and they slept. That was euphemistic for they
were sick, and they died. Paul said, they died because
(02:39):
they did not desern the body of the Lord. And
when they were gathered together and they were doing something
in the remembering of the Lord, they did not see
Jesus the opposite of how can I say it? I
(03:03):
said this way. When we think about remembering, we think
of our memory going to a place and we see
a thing together. But could it be that when we
are getting together around the Lord's Table, that we're in
a sense emotionally and spiritually calling back to our minds
(03:26):
who Jesus is. We're calling back to our minds what
he's about. And there's a reconnection with the power, the
person and the presence of Jesus. And that's why that
thing called communion is so powerful. We're at a unique
(03:46):
place where the Body of Christ has God to learn
how to operate in faith. And one of the platforms
for faith we've been talking about repeatedly, subliminally, we've been
slip it in in almost every message. We've been talking
about the need to watch what your expectations are to
(04:08):
guard the gates to your heart and your soul, to
your imagination. That fear to us is like a cancer,
and Jesus is trying to say, don't let fear get
into your soul and eat up and cause you to
(04:30):
cast away your confidence. If you give up, Jesus won't
show up. If you hesitate, and you can't, in a sense,
remember what he is about, remember how he can manifest
his glory if you don't reconnect. Some of us are
(04:52):
trying to have faith in a desperation, but faith and
fear they really don't run on the similar tracks. The
energy of fear, the energy of terror, tries to destroy
and it causes your inner life not to be a
(05:15):
container in which God can pour out that faith that
you need to move and there's got to be this
positive energy, this expectation for God to move. Can a
nation be born in a day? Can God suddenly do
(05:35):
the impossible? Can God turn your winter season into a springtime?
Can God take the declaration of death that maybe over
some of us, death financially, death physically for me is
the death sentence of esaphageal cancer. Can God take that
(05:59):
and turn it around and make something that looks like
it's impossible possible? He can do it. Go ahead, give
him praise. I don't want to go on a rabbit trail.
I want to deal with this again. Some of the
scriptures we've already looked at, but in time's past. But
(06:21):
we're going to pray again. At the end of his
message today, and I want you to begin to join
with me to believe something that is crazy to believe.
What's that Believe that from this group of people, from us,
you and I who sit here together, knowing who you are,
(06:42):
where do you come from, your background, your upbringing, your training.
I want you to dare to believe that we have
been sent on an assignment to be a voice that
changes the course of history and destiny of this entire
nation called you United States. That you and I are
(07:03):
game changers, We're not game watchers, that we're people of
destiny who have been called with an anointing that if
we'll stand our ground, God will change and turn our season.
And what you live for and what you're about is
going to echo down through the corridors of time. They're
(07:25):
going to be spiritual repercussions that demons and darkness and
the damnable things of hell shall not overwhelm or overcome
the purpose of God. Hey, turn to somebody and say
I'm a champion. Come on, you say it? Oh, come on.
I believe that God is saying that out of this
(07:48):
company of people, somebody's going to rise up and be
an instrument of the truant, living God. Hey, somebody is
you ought to believe that they are more than conquerors
through Christ, that the anointing of God lifts heavy burdens,
(08:10):
breaks yolks, and overthrows everything the devil's trying to do. Somebody,
give him praise, Come out, give him praise in his house. Woo.
God can make stone mountain in Georgia his mounts in
(08:34):
the worship. He did that yesterday. Place known for hatred
and racism, he get made it a place of worship
where songs of zioner sung and people enter into love
not hate. One Corinthians thirteen and thirteen. And now by
(08:58):
the faith, hope, charity, these three, but the greatest of
these charity. We said, If charity is the greatest, faith
is the lowest hope, then is a powerful force. We've
(09:21):
got to touch hope a couple of times, that positive
expectation of good. We've got to keep hope alive. Remember
that from the Civil rights movement. What does that mean
for them? It meant despite the fact folks are still
lynching y'all, despite the fact dogs are being released on y'all,
(09:45):
despite the fact that water hoses are being torned on
you full force. Keep Hope Alive.
Speaker 1 (09:55):
The Hope Connection will be right back with more, But
before we continue today's message, I want to let you
know about a special offer today on the Hope Connection,
we are offering you a series called Look Beyond through
the five Messages from the archives of Bishop Arry Jackson.
This series can move you into a new dimension of
spiritual authority, anointing, and fruitfulness as you receive the scriptures
(10:16):
in this faith focused series. Call one eight eight eight

to those that need to be a part of God's family.
And when you give this five part series is our
gift to you to thank you for your support of
this ministry. Call one eight eight eight seven seven eight

eight seven one four six or visit the Hope Connection
dot org get your copy of Look Beyond on CD
or MP three thumb drive today. Now let's get back
with more of today's message.
Speaker 2 (10:55):
Despite the fact that it looks like focus standing at
the gateway of the entry point to your dreams, and
like bull Connor, they're saying you ain't coming in here.
Keep hope alive. Despite the circumstances that would say that
you don't matter, You're never going to be anything. I
(11:18):
need you to say, keep hope alive. See, some of
y'all were raised in Southeast DC, or in my case
the equivalent, some of us are raised at Avondale. We're
raised in places where blood stained the streets on Saturday night,
and folks had to walk past all kinds of drug
issues and all kinds of emotional issues. We lived in
(11:41):
places where emotionally people didn't survive. We lived in places
where they're all kinds of victims. Families were victimized, people
were taking advantage of. But God looked down on some
of us and declare that boy Jackson, that woman Vivian.
(12:02):
They're going to make it. They're going to move in
a new dimension. Let me say it one more time,
Keep hope alive. The hope that needs to be kept
alive is the expectation that some way, some time, in
God's economy, He's going to turn this thing. Somehow, despite
(12:23):
what it looks like now, this situation I'm dealing with
is not permanent. Somehow, some way, the next generation your
descendants are going to have a better life, in a
better way than you have. Somehow, as we keep hope alive,
we will be change agents. And what we have believed
(12:45):
God for is going to come to pass. Said another
way from Scripture, it does not yet appear what we
shall be, but when he appears, we shall be like him.
Jesus is coming. He's manifesting more of his glory in
(13:08):
us and through us. I think it's important that we
have this expectation, this hope. We've preached five different messages
under hope. Expectation which has to do under faith. Expectation
has to do with hope confession. We've believed that. So
(13:30):
often we try to speak a thing before we have
formulated the action steps to make these things happen. So
I want to talk today about where to start. If
you're in a hopeless situation. I want to take a
few minutes. We're only going to talk to you for
about fifteen more minutes at the absolute tops. So I
(13:53):
want you to think about if you have had a
horrible diagnosis, if they've given up on you, then in
your state, your situation, how do you bring God into
your circumstance. I want to talk to you about changing
(14:16):
things that seem like they're as impossible as we ask
the question can a nation be born in a day?
Want you to go to the fourth slide, the people
that work in the slides, and you're going to look
at Isaiah twenty six to three. First thing I need
(14:38):
for you to do is I'm going to look at
this verse, but you're going to write down on whatever
you're writing notes on. Is that you and I need
to meditate on the word of God and meditate on
the promise of God before you pray, before you start
trying to say I know what God's doing, have faith
(15:01):
that He's gonna raise me up and heal me. I
submit to you that the battle for your soul is
and the battle for your emotions, and the battle for
your imagination. The battle in that realm is the most
important battle. That's where the devil often defeats us. Isaiah
(15:26):
said this now will keep him in perfect peace. Whose
mind is stayed on THEE because he trusteth in THEE.
The word that's important his mind is stayed on thee
is a word yet sir. The word yet sir occurs
(15:48):
nine times in the Old Testament, and it's translated as
imagination five times. Frame once time mind, want thing framed once,
and work once. The point is that God will respond
(16:11):
to something you do. If you keep your mind, keep
your focus on him, on his purposes, on what he's
trying to do in your life, then he'll keep you.
Keep your focus, he'll keep you, guard your mind, he'll
(16:35):
guard you, protect your thought life, He'll protect you. Are
you with me today? So God saying I want to
protect you. I want there to be a star wars
like force field all around you. I want you to
live in a place that if the devil's running up
(16:56):
on you from the backside, he's sneaking up from you.
He may come at you in every direction, but he'll
flee in seven ways. So that force field being up,
that protective boundary and barriers, that dimension of peace and
power and grace, it will remain high over you and
(17:20):
protect you if your mind is stayed on the Lord.
And that means I'm going to have to keep bringing
my mind back to him. So the way I start
with this thing is I need to get out some
three but five cards and I need to write some
(17:42):
things about healing. If healing is my issue, or I'm
gonna have to believe for the promises for the tither
the giver. Y'all stay with me today right after the service.
We're going to do something prophetic act. I want to
ask y'all, was a pathetic act to come and do
something we did last Friday night, and that is walk
(18:05):
with me into the new sanctuary, which is totally set up.
It's ready to go. We just need an occupancy permit.
They had the sound system on. Yeah, give Jesus a
cloud offering. We had a sound system on and we
were playing music. The lights were moving. We walked around
in there and prayed and shouted, and some of us
(18:27):
ran and I won't say acted as a fool. I'll
say we were like David as he had to say
to his wife, You're the king. Why are you acting
like that? He said, honey, it was before the Lord.
It was before God who has done these great things.
So we were running around and praising God in there.
(18:50):
I want you to go in there with me after
service as a prophetic act. I want you to walk
around the perimeter that of the sanctuary inside near the
outer walls. We're gonna walk seven times. On the seventh day.
They walked seven times, and then they shouted amen. But
(19:13):
God has done the impossible in a manner speaking for
us in that right, and thank God, this would be
a great time to I thank God that many of
you had faith to give what you could give. Some
were able to give tens of thousands of dollars, some
were able to give a thousands, some were hundreds. Some
(19:37):
just stayed faithful and gave what may have appeared to
be just a little bit to this process. But at
the end of the day, God allowed you to give
everything that is necessary, and we finished this sanctuary, and
(19:58):
we paid for everything. Hallelujah. And you did it. You
did it. You're a part of it. You are a
part of making what may have seemed a few months
ago to others as impossible. You have done the impossible.
You have made it possible. I'm telling you today that
(20:20):
God is saying to you, this is a prophetic sign
that many things that have seemed impossible in your life
are gone to change. Your winter time is over, spring
time is here, but you're going to enter into it
(20:41):
God's way. So right now, if you're like me, I'm
going through this process of grieving and I'm trying to
look into the new day and the battles that I'm
dealing with right now, many of them have to do
with this area of possessing my mind mind, keeping my
(21:01):
mind stayed on him, because if I imagine evil, I respond
differently than if I can somehow see Jesus seated above
every situation in my life, I can see Jesus. I'm
down here playing checkers, and the devil is trying to
(21:23):
block me, but Jesus is sitting on his throne playing chess. Hollylujah,
He's got this thing figured out. Amen, that all things
are working together for my good. And as Travis Green said,
he's intentional. Hey, he's not gonna miss a beat.
Speaker 1 (21:47):
You're listening to the Hope Connection. We'll be right back
to conclude today's message. But first, each month, The Hope
Connection wants you to grow in your faith in relationship
with God. One way to be connected to God is
by knowing his voice, how he speaks, understanding prophecy, and
how we can respond. Through Bishop Hary's five part message
(22:07):
series Look Beyond, you'll discover answers and understanding and how
to respond to God's voice and find hope when everything
around you feels hopeless. The Look Beyond series is our
way of thanking you for your gift to help support
this ministry. Your generous gift allows us to continue broadcasting
life changing messages like this one call one eight eight

here's one final thought for you today.
Speaker 2 (22:42):
All things are working together for my good. And as
Travis Green said, he's intentional. Hey, he's not gonna miss
a beat. So the delay in your life is not denial.
The delay is setting you up for him to come
through past the pass and your teammate's going to dunk
(23:06):
the ball. You've been set up for a score, you've
been set up for a blessing. You've been set up
for the advancement of the Kingdom of God. But we've
got to in patience possess our soul. Well, I don't
know who I'm talking to today, but somebody is trying
to give up today, and I feel like the Lord's saying,
(23:27):
now is the time for you to begin to rise
up and say, this is the hour of God's Church,
this is my hour. This is the hour where the
conquerors are going to enter the Promised Land. This is
the hour where the anointing's breaking the yak. This is
(23:48):
our time under God to excel and overcome. No weapons
warked against you shall prosper. But every tongue that rises
up against you you shall count demn. You shall cut demn.
You're gonna put him out. You're gonna knock him down.
And Jesus Name, come on, give him him praise offering Woa, yes, yes,
(24:21):
whoo oh. Our God is an awesome God. Our God
is an awesome God.
Speaker 1 (24:31):
Before you go, remember our gift to you Bishop Perry
