Speaker 1 (00:00):
Go from one state to the other.
Speaker 2 (00:02):
Now, with transportation so quick and so easy, they leave countries.
Speaker 1 (00:05):
You'll lose a lot of money if you do that.
Speaker 2 (00:07):
That would and other countries that have done it have
lost a lot of people.
Speaker 1 (00:11):
They lose their wealthy people. That would be bad because
the wealthy people paid the tax. Okay, So how's those.
Speaker 3 (00:16):
Talks today going, London? Do you think that the asks
from Ukraine?
Speaker 1 (00:24):
I think they went well.
Speaker 2 (00:25):
I mean, you know, we've got to get two people,
two strong people, two smart people to agree, and as
soon as they agree, the killing will stop.
Speaker 1 (00:34):
But yeah, I think they went well, pretty well. Your
economic team, any of them are here today.
Speaker 4 (00:42):
Gad Vance has negotiated with a goal a monster trade
deal with idiot.
Speaker 1 (00:48):
But he just want you share with us what some
of the framework of that.
Speaker 2 (00:53):
You said England, They're not very complicated these deals.
Speaker 1 (01:03):
It's about the tariffs.
Speaker 2 (01:04):
India charges almost more than any other country in the world,
and believe it or not, we do very little business
with India.
Speaker 1 (01:11):
Other the fact that I like the Prime Minister very much.
Speaker 2 (01:15):
He's a friend of mine who was here two weeks ago,
as you know, and we stood right outside that a
news conference Unfortunately, the grass was very wet and it
was very hard for people to stand on the grass.
They got their shoes alls ruined. But other than that,
it was a very good news conference, and he's a
great guy. But we do very little business. You know why,
because the tariffs are so high. They have among the
(01:37):
highest tariffs, higher than China. They have among the highest
tariffs in the world. And I understand they're going to
reduce those tarffs, but it's really h it's really sort
of their problem. No hours, we do very very little
purchasing in India because they're and selling.
Speaker 1 (01:56):
We do very little selling. I mean, Harley Davidson, I said,
how you doing in India? This is about six years ago.
Speaker 2 (02:03):
They came to lunch as a great American company to
make the motorcycles, and I said, how are you doing
in India? As an example, Well, we don't do any
business there. Why because the tariffs are too high. I
said that's interesting. Well what are you going to do?
He said, well, we're going to build a plant in India,
And that's what they did. I don't want that to happen.
They were forced to build a plant. Well, essentially, what
(02:26):
we're doing, I think. Remember, there's no tariff when they
build their plant here, and everybody wants to build because
they don't want and the higher the tariffs go, the
more likely it is they come and build a plant,
you know. I mean, if it's twenty five percent, that's fine.
If it's fifty percent, you'll get more plants. Seventy five
you get more. At one hundred, you get more than that.
(02:46):
And they're all coming in at numbers that nobody's I
don't think, Howard, there's ever been numbers like we've seen
seven eight trillion dollars worth in two months, because you know,
it took me a month to get started in no affairs.
In two months we did this, and now we're coming
up with one hundred one hundred days, first hundred days,
(03:07):
and I think we're going to be close to eight
trillion dollars. There was never any president that did even
a tiny percentage of that.
Speaker 1 (03:15):
Okay, any of the questions, what about.
Speaker 5 (03:17):
A deal signed, one of the deals signed by your
one hundred day mark, and China is saying that we're
threatening and blackmailing them into a deal, what would be
your response?
Speaker 2 (03:26):
I mean, China, look, I have great relationships in China
and with presidency in particular. But China has been charging
us a massive.
Speaker 1 (03:33):
Tariffs for many years.
Speaker 2 (03:34):
It's one of the reasons we're able to steal so
many of our companies.
Speaker 1 (03:38):
They took our companies out of.
Speaker 2 (03:39):
America and they built their plans in China and.
Speaker 1 (03:45):
One of those things.
Speaker 2 (03:45):
So now we're reversing it, but at levels that nobody's
ever seen before.
Speaker 1 (03:51):
Now we're going to get along great with China. I
have no doubt about it. Thank you very much, every book.
Speaker 6 (03:55):
Thank you, chet it out, thank you, thank you for
going away.
Speaker 1 (04:00):
Thanks guy.
Speaker 5 (04:02):
Welcome back everybody, and welcome to just a slightly delayed
the start of Just the News, No Noise. I'm your host,
Amanda Head, reporting to you from as you can see,
Los Angeles, California. I will of course be back in
DC next week. My co host John Solomon is out
on assignment tonight, but he will be returning tomorrow night.
Speaker 3 (04:20):
Now, a little bit earlier.
Speaker 5 (04:21):
Before the show, I caught up with Arizona Congressman and
now gubernatorial candidate for the state of Arizona, Congressman Andy
Biggs check it out, joining us now congressman from the
great state of Arizona as well as now gubernatorial candidate
for the Grand Canyon State Friend of Our Program. He
just received President Trump's endorsement for that campaign. Congressman Andy Biggs,
(04:43):
thank you so much for being here, sir.
Speaker 7 (04:45):
Thanks Amanda, It's great to be with you.
Speaker 3 (04:48):
All right.
Speaker 6 (04:48):
I got to talk to you about your campaign because
I am so excited for the prospect of you leading
the state of Arizona. You're just one state over from California,
and I feel like if good things are happening in Arizona,
maybe by osmosis, it'll help out here in California.
Speaker 3 (05:02):
But how's the campaign going.
Speaker 4 (05:05):
Campaign's gone well, you know, data wise, there's been seven
independent polls. I haven't paid for any, and I'm ahead
of my primary opponent by more than thirty points in
every poll. And I'm also the only Republican that has
pulled ahead of the current Democrat governor.
Speaker 7 (05:21):
So we feel good about that.
Speaker 4 (05:24):
And then I've been all over the state working this
and what a great state we have and great people
as well, and so we feel the support the momentums
there and thrilled to have President Trump's endorsement. He's become
a good friend over the years and grateful for him
and all that he's doing for the country, but also
(05:46):
grateful that he would see fit to endorse me.
Speaker 3 (05:49):
Absolutely and very deserved.
Speaker 6 (05:50):
I would add I want to talk to you about
the issue of illegal immigration. Obviously that hits so home
for Arizona being a border state, but I want to
talk specifically about Thesemocrats heading down to El Salvador. I
feel like at this rate, there should be a cottage
industry within the travel agency industry for Democrats who want
to get down there.
Speaker 3 (06:08):
Accept that it's the American.
Speaker 6 (06:10):
People who are picking up the tab Is it just
grand standing on the part of Democrats or do you
think that they are actually going to accomplish something.
Speaker 4 (06:20):
Well, it's grand standing. So let's think about this. The
US does not have jurisdiction over that fellow. He was
not legally in the country, and kil Maharin is down
there and he's in the jurisdiction and custody of El Salvador,
is a legal citizen of El Salvador. And so you
(06:42):
can go down and Billy a can wine and complain
all you want, but typically the only way you'd get
somebody back like that is through an extradition so we'd
have to begin prosecution of him up here for I
don't know, things like perhaps human smuggling, human trafficking, and
if we're prosecuting on stuff like that, then you might
(07:06):
get El Salvador to release him. But President Bukeley, who
I happen to know personally, and I've been to Seacott,
I've seen that prison. I've one of the few members
of Congress who have. President m Kelly said, look, he's
our citizen. He is a criminal, he is a gang member.
US courts have found to be a gang member, and
(07:27):
they said, we're going to keep him. And so what
this is is this is radical left, hard left Democrats
saying we're going to go down and make this our cause.
Soleb are held to die on our political topic of
the day of the week of the month. And the
reality is, in the end, the American people are beginning
(07:48):
to say, you guys wouldn't even stand up in applaud
a thirteen year old brain cancer survivor, right, that's how
much you hated Donald Trump. But you will go down
for a domestic abuse, a spouse abuse, potentially human trafficking,
(08:09):
gang banger and make that your cause. Shame on you,
and the American people are probably not going to put
up with that. I can't imagine them putting up with that.
Speaker 3 (08:19):
Well, and you line that.
Speaker 6 (08:21):
Up with the polling that just came out, what eight
days ago from CNN, that fifty six percent of those polled.
And you got to know that a CNN is polling them.
If they are within that polling sample, then they're not
exactly hard right, Maga America first, folks, And fifty six
percent of them support deporting all illegal aliens in this country. Now,
they cited I think eleven million. I think there's probably
(08:43):
way more than eleven million, but the fact remains that
they support deporting everybody.
Speaker 3 (08:47):
So for making this their hill to die on, I mean,
it kind of.
Speaker 6 (08:51):
Seems to me like they should continue doing this if
they want you guys.
Speaker 3 (08:55):
To hold the majority.
Speaker 4 (08:58):
I agree, Iman, absolutely right. I still get folks from
time to time come say, oh, yeah, but my housekeeper,
my gardener, my pool cleaner, they've been here fifteen years,
and you know they were here illegally, but gully, you know.
And the bottom line is the vast majority, not the
(09:19):
vast majory, but certainly fifty six percent is pretty substantial
for any American issue these days, and fifty six percent
said every one of them should be deported removed from
this country. And I think that's really, by and large
the sentiment that's there. And I don't even think that
(09:41):
we can process all those people rapidly enough.
Speaker 7 (09:46):
It'll take years to do that. But the bottom line is,
you're right.
Speaker 4 (09:51):
I think most Americans by far think that nobody should
be allowed in this country illegally, and if you came
in illegally, you should be removed and go to the
back of the line, for Pete's sakes, where millions of
people around the world are waiting to come and do
it the right way because they want to be Americans
and they want to respect the rule of law, which
is what we used to stand for in America.
Speaker 6 (10:13):
Yeah, if you didn't observe or do process coming into
this country, I don't.
Speaker 3 (10:17):
Know why you deserve it on your way out.
Speaker 6 (10:19):
And frankly, Congressman, when I hear those sob stories about
how my so and so has been here for fifteen years,
that actually makes me feel even a little bit more
jaded about it, because I think, to myself, Okay, so
for fifteen years, this person has had the opportunity to
do it the right way, and they haven't. So it
doesn't endear a ton of sympathy on my part. But
(10:40):
I want to move on to something that is very
near and dear to your heart. Because you propose this
resolution to boot Judge Boseberg. I think it's a perfect
solution because it sends a very very strong message about
these activist judges. But tell us about the resolution and
the support behind it and where its future is.
Speaker 4 (10:59):
Article Resection one only grants a federal judge tenure quote
during good behavior. That's it close quote during good behavior, and.
Speaker 7 (11:13):
It's not impeachable. It's not impeachment. We're not dealing with impeachment.
Speaker 4 (11:16):
We're not dealing with all of that stuff which is
high crimes, systemeanor's, bribery or treason. We're talking about somebody
who has failed to exercise their their very important position judiciously.
So here's the way to think of it. There's there's
case law in Anglo Saxon history which defines that which
(11:36):
includes things like doing radical departures from the law. That's
what Judge Bosburg's done, and he's doing it for political purpose.
He has a political agenda, and that's why he's doing it.
When you do do that, you should have recused yourself.
You should if you have a political bias. There are
mechanisms in place for judges to say, look, you know,
(11:59):
I can't be as impartial as I probably ought to be.
I can't have that judicial integrity. Well, if you have integrity,
then you step aside and another judge will step step
in and exercise integrity. He didn't do it, and so
we're trying to remove him. And by the way, it
doesn't require a super majority in the Senate. It is
a simple majority of House and Senate. And by the way,
(12:23):
there are other legals. There are legal scholars that have
talked about this and suggest that this is a way
to remedy a bad judge over the years.
Speaker 7 (12:31):
And so.
Speaker 4 (12:34):
Right now I'm trying to gin up enough support in
the House.
Speaker 6 (12:38):
Well, I imagine you're going to have it. So when
do you anticipate that vote will come?
Speaker 4 (12:43):
I need the Judiciary Committee to allow this to be forwarded.
And if they allowed to be forwarded, it will happen soon.
But right now, the Judiciary we're doing our next few
hearings are going to be dealing with the reconciliation bill,
and the Judiciary committees respond onsibilities with regard to the
Reconciliation Bill, but by golly that we need that to
(13:04):
go forward in my opinion, absolutely.
Speaker 6 (13:07):
Before I let you go, I want to touch on
a little bit of foreign policy. It seems like this
administration is growing increasingly more frustrated with the deal or
thus far non deal between Russia and Ukraine and Vice
President Vance indicating that if a deal is not met soon,
the United States is going to walk away. Is that
the best move to walk away and say, all right, fine,
(13:28):
you guys figure it out.
Speaker 7 (13:31):
Yeah? I think so.
Speaker 4 (13:32):
I saw President Trump put out a social media post
expressing incredible frustration, and I think those of us who've
been have viewed this whole thing as a problem for
a couple several years now, we share that frustration.
Speaker 7 (13:49):
And I think that.
Speaker 4 (13:50):
The solution that we're going to need to do is
if Zelenski and Putin do sit down and have real, straightforward,
open and transparent negotiations and actually make a move. You
can't just sit there talking. I mean, we used to
see that in North Korea and Vietnam. They need to
make a move. And if they're not going to make
a move. It needs to end, and we need to
(14:11):
stop our support and step back. And first of all,
if NATO country is over, there really want to step
in and help Ukraine. That's what should happen. But we
need to step back and say this is no longer
our problem. We have other issues that we have to
deal with in our country and let's go forward.
Speaker 3 (14:31):
Yeah.
Speaker 6 (14:32):
I think enough time and treasure has been devoted to
that conflict, and I'm with you. I think it's time
to walk away. If they can't figure it out, then
we're out. Congressman Andy Biggsy Trump endorsed candidate for Arizona Governor.
Speaker 3 (14:43):
Sir, thank you so much for being here.
Speaker 7 (14:46):
Thanks, Amanda, appreciate it absolutely.
Speaker 6 (14:48):
