Back chair recognized mister Palmer from Alabama, thank miss Chairman,
and thank the witnesses for being here. And I want
to get to a more constructive dialogue. First of all
in regard to DOGE. As I've pointed out to some
of my colleagues, this is not the first time that
the federal government has engaged in an effort like this.
(01:41):
One time, in particular, it was during the Clint administration.
It was called the National Partnership for Reinventing Government and
it was led by Al Gore. I ran a think
tank of Time, was invited to come to Washington to
meet with some of the folks working on this. But
after seven years of this effort, they reduced the civilian
employee population by over four hundred and twenty six thousand.

They close two hundred and fifty federal offices. They reduced
the Federal Registry by seven hundred thousand pages and about
sixteen thousand pages of regulations. And I understand Governor rentals
that Iowa has launched a reorganization effort as the objective
there to make government more efficient, more effective, and more
responsive to the people of Iowa.

More efficient, more effective, more responsive, more accountable. It's brought
transparency to the process. We're better at what we're doing.
I would say that, you know, the employees appreciate the
environment that we're working in today. They appreciate the culture
of innovation that we're creating in the state, and they
love being a part of it.

Did you bring it in any outside experts? As the
client administration did and that effort for reinventing government back
in the nineties, I.
Speaker 5 (02:50):
Brought in one consultant to help really do the comparisons
in other states, so we could see where we were
an outliner, where did we align, what had we maybe missed?
So we used the sultant from that perspective and just
to help us with some of the administration, but otherwise
we did it all internally.
Speaker 4 (03:05):
When I worked for a couple of international engineering companies,
and one of the companies I worked for went through
a process like this, and they brought in outside consultants
because people on outside can see things those of us
on the inside miss, So it's important that you bring
in really the best that you that you can in
that regard, I really think that we're in another reinventing
government phase, and in particular with education. Uh there's a

big debate right now going on about the number of
H one b VSAs that we need to have because
we're having to import so many technically trained workers. I
don't know if Iwa is experiencing some of this, but
you probably have some folks who are educated overseas that
are now working in engineering technically trained jobs.

Would that be correct?

Yes.

I think the fact that we're having mister Tairman to
bring so many people in who are engineers and scientists
is an indictment of the current education system. We're not
able to produce the number of of technically trained people
that we need to be competitive in our economy, but
also in regard to our national security, because we're in
an arms race an artificial intelligence with China, and we're

going to have to have a technically trained work force.
So one of the things that I've suggested in this
effort in regard to the Department of Education is that
we not completely dismantle it governor rentals, but maybe reimagine
it as a Department of Workforce Development and block grant
the money to the States with a heavy emphasis on STEM.
Would you like to respond to that.

I would be very much in favor of that. In fact,
we put a proposal together that we'll be submitting to
the Department of Education. It gives states the flexibility. We
already have a waiver process in place that we could
utilize until they could actually get some of that realignment done.
But like I said, hold us accountable, We'll meet those
expectations and we can do it at lower cost.

Where is Gaza?

Most Americans cannot tell you, So let's first just educate
all of you and catch you up the speed on
where in the world is Gaza. Well, Gaza is a
very intro sting piece of the Middle East. Its history
dates back all the way to fifth fifteenth century BCE.

It was an important city in ancient Egypt, and even
the Philistines seems that there's always been conflict around this
specific sliver. Let's show the map now. When you talk
about Israel, Israel is about the side of New Jersey.
Israel as it is in this particular map is the turquoise.

The more brown color as I see it presented, is
what would be called the Palestinian Authority. This is a
very important point the Palestinian Authority. But usually here is
the West Bank, meaning it's west of the Jordan River,
is Judea and Samaria. There you'll have Hebron, there, you
have novelists. There you have the major metropolitan centers of
(06:47):
the Palestinian Authority. What most people don't understand, though, is
that there is a separate area of Arab Palestinian Authority
control which is not contiguous. It is discontiguous, and that
is the Gaza Strip. You can see the Gaza Strip
right there, which is positioned near the southwest corner of
(07:09):
the state of Israel. The Gaza Strip is gorgeous, it's beautiful,
It's right on the Mediterranean, has rolling hills, vineyards orchards.
It is legitimately could be the new Bay Route tool
when Beyrout was actually very nice. It could be a
Hong Kong, it could be a Singapore, it could be
(07:29):
a beautiful beacon. But there's been a lot of conflict
over Gaza throughout the years. So Gaza we'll just kind
of fast forward to more modern time. Of course, we
had the creation of the State of Israel in the
nineteen forties, and as the creation of State of Israel happened,
(07:50):
there was a lot of conflict of well, who's actually
going to control Gaza. Interestingly, Gaza was under Egyptian control
from nineteen forty eight to nineteen sixty seven. It was
not formally annexed by Egypt, but Palestinian national identity whatever
that is, however you want to explain, it.

Started to take shape.
Speaker 8 (08:12):
Now in nineteen sixty seven, there was something called the
Six Day War, very famous six Day War, where Israel
captured the Gaza strip and basically controlled it for the
next forty years. From there, you started to see a
lot of people in Gaza that were Arab Palestinian Muslim
(08:34):
start to get a little bit discontent. There was a
lot of resentment. There was something from nineteen eighty seven
to nineteen ninety three which was called the First Intifada.
It was an uprising against Israeli occupation that began in Gaza,
marking a key moment in what they would call the
struggle for self determination. There was also the Oslo Accords
(08:56):
that were offered by Bill Clinton, signed in the early
nineteen nineties and established the Palestinian Authority and set the
framework for Palestinian self rule. Now understand, the people of
Gaza that called themselves Palestinians, They've always wanted to govern themselves.
We don't want to be under Israeli rule. We don't
want to be under Israeli rule.

Now.
Speaker 8 (09:16):
Hama started to rise up in the late nineteen eighties
as a radical Islamic resistance movement. As it started to
percolate and manifest, more and more radical anti Semitic, anti
Jewish jew hatred rhetoric started to metastasize in the Gaza strip.

Then in two thousand and.
Speaker 8 (09:37):
Five, the big decision was made, and yes, please keep
that map up on screen. In two thousand and five,
Israel made the decision to unilaterally withdraw from Gaza. Dismantling
settlements and evacuating military personnel. Basically, Israel said, forget it,
We're done. This is too much headache, too much consternation.
(09:57):
It's nothing but problems for us. If you guys really
want to govern yourselves.
Speaker 1 (10:03):
Have at it.
Speaker 8 (10:04):
Gaza, have at it. Hamas have at a Palestinian authority.
A couple of years later, in two thousand and seven,
following violent clashes between Hamas and Fata, Hamas took complete
control of the Gaza Strip, further deepening the political division
between Gaza and the West Bank. Now they've always wanted
(10:26):
self determination, and that's what they got, But they really
also wanted more than that. They didn't just want self determination.
They wanted free stuff, they wanted aid. They also wanted
Israel not to exist. Now, let me reiterate, Gaza could
be a lovely place. The problem is the people who
(10:47):
rule it. Israel in the past time also captured the
entire Sinai. What's notable is they gave back the Sinai
but not Gaza. In the peace deal, the whole idea
was land for peace. We're going to get you land
and we're going to get peace. But land for peace
has never worked Hamas wants to destroy Israel, and the
most radical elements of Islamic fundamentalism took control the Gaza Strip. Now,
(11:11):
as I keep that map up on screen for just
one more second, all of the activity on October seventh
originated from the Gaza Strip, not from the West Bank.
The Gaza Strip was the launching off point. The Gaza
Strip controlled by Hamas is where they went to the
rave concert, They went into the kibbutz's, they went into
(11:33):
the nurseries, they went into the little schools, they went
into the synagogues. It was the launching off point in
the Gaza Strip, not in the West Bank. So that
fast forward now to today where it's a major mess.
When Israel has now done their response to the horrific,
unspeakable mini holocaust on October seventh, it has all been
(11:57):
in the Gaza Strip. It has been focused on the
Gaza Strip and the untold military story, which honestly, the
media has had a lot to cover the last year
and a half. Is Yes, the IDF has been largely successful,
but not nearly as much as they would have liked.
And this is a pattern that America experienced in Vietnam
(12:18):
and America experience in Afghanistan and America experienced in Iraq,
with a small, determined fighting force in their home neighborhoods
and in their homeland can be very difficult to defeat.
They get stronger the more you repress them. They get
more of a fighting spirit. The snipers and the dodge
(12:40):
and duck type strategy on the streets of Gaza have
been very difficult for the IDF to completely eliminate and
wipe out Hamas. They've done a pretty good job, but
Hamas has yet to be totally and completely defeated. Now,
just a reminder, polled in December of twenty twenty three,
Palestinians in Gaza overwhelmingly support what happened on October seventh.
(13:04):
Now seventy two percent of respondent said they believed Commas's
decision to launch the cross border rampage in southern Israel
was correct. Now, let's be honest. How do you conduct
a poll in the midst of a war zone. So
let me actually give you a piece of data. That
is that I think even more compelling that the people
who did October seventh the terrible savages. When they returned
(13:26):
to Gaza, they were celebrated as heroes. That is more
persuasive to me that there was parties in the streets
of the people that returned from the horrific acts on
October seventh, and they came to the streets of Gaza.
That's more persuasive than some poll that is being done.
I mean, they don't even have phones in Gaza. I
(13:46):
don't know what they have or they don't have. That
is actually a much stronger data point. So this is
a big problem for Israel. The question is this a
big problem for the United States? Is there a problem
that we want to inherit? Is this a problem that
we should have to supervise? Is this a problem that
we should have to babysit and nanny because the Egyptians
had controlled it and they said no way. Israel had
(14:08):
controlled it and they said no way. And it's kind
of in this murky middle ground, and those of us
that are America first, it is a very serious question
of how should we approach the Gazahama situation. Well, we're
going to find out what President Trump means by own Gaza.
Does he mean own it like he owns Mara a Lago,
or does he mean that we're going to own the
(14:30):
activity and be responsible for managing a broker deal. Is
it a literal own or a metaphorical own? Is this
the art of the deal. We don't know. What we
do know is some red lines of what we will
not tolerate, and we're going to go through that in

Is that there was likely a dialogue that was occurring
of all the people that don't want to assume control
of Gaza, the Egyptians don't want it the Jordanians don't
want it, Israel doesn't want it, and I could see
a situation where President Trump says, oh, forget.

It, We'll just take it over.

I could see a moment where President Trump says, you
guys are all you don't want to take control of it.
We're going to be the alpha males and we're just
gonna come in. So let's play this piece of tape here.
And it is really shaking the matrix. I have received
hundreds of messages about this, people asking, asking, And that's
what's so nice about having this program. I don't have
to respile on text messages. I say, just watch the show.

The US will take over the Gaza strip, and we
will do a job with it too. We'll own it
and be responsible for dismantling all of the dangerous unexploded
bombs and other weapons on the site. Level the site,
and get rid of the destroyed buildings, level it out,
create an economic development that will supply unlimited numbers of

jobs and housing for the people of the area.

If you go back, it's going to end up the
same way it has for one hundred years.

Okay, let's take a step back here now. Is this
the art of the deals is to get more moderate
Arab countries to step up? Is this cutting Israel in line?
We don't know. But President Trump was reading prepared remarks there.
This was not off the cuff.

It's very important.

This is not President Trumps answering a question from a reporter.
He was reading prepared remarks. So it begs that there's
some sort of chess game going on here. But let's
kind of go through our red lines without knowing the
exact maneuvers and counter moves that are happening.

Let's go through some red lines.
Speaker 8 (19:58):
Number one, no circumstances are we going to allow refugees
from Gaza to come into the United States of America.
I can't imagine that is even on the table. I
don't think President Trump would allow that. But it needs
to be said, needs to be emphasized. While we're doing
the largest deportation effort in American history, which is going

very well.

We got Gitmo L.
Speaker 8 (20:20):
Salvador, We've got planes going all over the place. We're
not going to go let in a bunch of elon
Omars that are going to be singing alu akapar on
college campuses, burning American flags and waving Palestinian propaganda in
the phases.
Speaker 1 (20:34):
Of American students. We're not gonna put up with that.
So the answer is zero, not going to happen. Zero.
Speaker 8 (20:39):
And number two is that we're not going to have
any US troops fighting in Gaza. That would be a
detrimental mistake, that would be catastrophic. Now, when President Trump
says we're going to own it, does that mean that
he we're going to own the situation. We're going to
diplomatically handhold it, We're going to bring stakeholders together. I'm
not sure, but we are not going to have a
single up. We're going to speak out against that with
(21:02):
every fiber r being. We are not going to get
involved another Iraq, another Afghanistan. By the way, to the
best of my knowledge, Israel has never even asked for
US troops. All they want is the ability and the
green light to be able to wipe out Hamas. But
I do think we have to also proceed with some
caution here on this program.

We have been outspoken critics of nation building.

I don't think that's what President Trump is talking about here,
but I think it's within the same.

Potential topic here that nation building.

One of the things that we've been most critical of
in Iraq and Afghanistan and Libya and Syria and Ukraine.
This is likely President Trump trying to create more leverage
the same way he did with Canada, saying he did
with Columbia, same way he did with Mexico. So I
trust Trump one hundred percent to navigate this. He is
the master and in him I trust on this. The
same time, though, we need to make sure that we
articulate the principles that built his entire presidency and built

the entire movement. The occupation of Gaza is not worth
the life of a single marine from Oklahoma, period.

It's not worth it. That is not America's role.
Speaker 8 (22:12):
To go put our most prized possession, our eighteen, nineteen
and twenty year old young men on the front lines,
to go fight in a region that has been described
as sand and death. The IDEF can handle that, and
we should give them a green light to go finish
the job. That I completely support. But limitations on American
foreign policy intervention is something that has been wide spread approval.

The President believes us, and so this situation in front
of US is probably going to be developing in real time.
But the Jordanians and the Egyptians have to step up.
If all of a sudden we're going to say, hey,
get out of Gaza, Well, the Jordanians don't want them,
the Egyptians don't want them. But I think this definitely
(22:57):
creates a lot of momentum to force Arab neighbors to

the current ceasefire agreement just isn't viable while.

Wickcoff plans to meet with Cutter's Prime Minister tomorrow here
in the United States to discuss the next phase in
the ceasefire between Israel and Hamas. The first illegal aliens
being housed by or at Guantanamo Bay are getting used
to their new digs this morning, after the first military
deportation flight from the United States landed at the Cuban
base Tuesday, night. The plane reportedly had ten migrants from

Fort Bliss in Texas on board. Eventually, the Trump administration
expects to house as many as thirty thousand illegals at
Guantanamo before repatriating them to their home countries. The first
flight to Guantana comes just one day after a flight
filled with Indian immigrants was sent.

Turns out more than seven hundred and twenty five thousand
Indians are living in the United States without authorization, which
is the third most of any country. Other recent deportation
flights from the United States have gone to Ecuador, Guam, Honduras,
as well as Peru. Colombia has also sent two flights
to the United States to pick up its citizens after

initially refusing to accept US repatriation planes. A bit of
closure this morning for the families of the victims of
last week's deadly mid air collision involving American Airlines and
an Army chopper. Turns out the remains of all sixty
seven people killed have now been recovered.

he'll be a few days behind that. But having said that,
I think they're all in really good shape, and I
think it's important. I think it's important to honor, you know,
the trust that voters gave President Trump to pick his
team in this broad coalition now that we have, and
I think his cabinet reflects that broad coalition, and you know,
one of the main reasons they all need to move forward,
(28:14):
and I think they will. One last point on that
we're way ahead. I mean Senator thom deserves some credit here,
way ahead of the timetable that we've seen was Joe
Biden or President Trump's first term, where twelve confirmed by
the end of this week, maybe thirteen. I think it
might end up being it was at six in his
first term. Biden had six, so you'd have to go
(28:34):
back to the Obama era where we were moving as quickly.

So that's a good sign too.

It's a great sign.

And that's also just mentioned that with maximum Democrat opposition,
every trick in the Parliamentarian handbook.

You got Senator Shatz from Hawaii who's saying is going
to delay everything over usaid, I mean, it's like every
possible trick. How how has that made it a little
bit more difficult and how do you navigate such delayed
tactics by the Democrats.

Yeah, normally on these confirmations, like basically, you have an
executive calendar in the Senate, you have a legislative calendar
in the Senate, and you have an impeachment calendar in
the Senate. There's only three things that you're doing at
any one time, and you've got to switch back and forth,
which you know takes a little time. But we're staying
on the executive calendar. We're staying on these nominees. They
can force us to go longer, we can only do
(29:29):
one at a time, but we're plowing through what We've
made it clear.

We're going to be here nights, weekends. We're getting this done.
Speaker 13 (29:34):
And I think they as much as they're kicking and
screaming about it and are throwing some procedural hurdles, it's
going to happen. And so it's interesting this week, Charlie,
they're really setting this up to be, you know, their
Spartacus moment for rough vote, because they're really zeroing in
on this dose stuff, which I think is it is

the fight that we want. We should relish this. People
have been clamoring to reign in government. This administrative state
that's out of control. It needs to be dismantled. And
now that the you know permanent, Washington really doesn't want
people to know how this money gets spent. And USA
Idea is at the top of the list of corrupt
organizations that have spent money on DEI programs in Uganda
(30:19):
and you know, sex change operations in South America.
Speaker 12 (30:22):
It's an insult to taxpayers.
Speaker 13 (30:24):
So this is really shaking up sort of business as
usual in Washington.

They'd like this stuff in the dark.

It's all coming out in the open and underscrut me
and that's a good thing. And they're mad about it,
so they, like I said, they can kick and scream
about it, but we're going to get this done.

Yeah, and again it is about making government more efficient
and just so everyone understands, from the twenty nineteen to
twenty twenty twenty fiscal year to today, so in about
four years of fiscal year, our federal budget has nearly doubled,
nearly doubled, And I just hope everyone understands that there
was almost a pre COVID baseline, and the post COVID

baseline is so extra.

What is our federal budget?

It's gonna be about six trillion ish, right if you
count this reconciled fiscal year.

Is that about right? Six trillion ish?

Yes, And I think that's a great, great point. And
one of the things I try to mention is pre COVID,
we were spending about four trillion dollars. Okay, the budget
this year will be hope like Biden wanted to spend
seven trillion. Okay, maybe it's going to be six trillion, right,
So pre COVID twenty nineteen, President Trump's an office four trillion.

Our revenues now, Charlie, are five trillion. Like if we
were just spending when we were spending a few years ago,
we would have a surplus.
Speaker 13 (31:38):
But the Democrat they don't, They do not want to
give any of.
Speaker 12 (31:40):
That money back.

So we're going to have a real fight on our
hands in this next reconciliation package to sort of rain
this in. And you know, I kind of get tired
of saying, well, it's only a couple of billion dollars,
or the waste is only a few hundred million dollars,
like I still count my money. And in Missouri when
you take if you were to tell somebody that that, like, oh,
it's only a few hundred million dollars a billion dollars,
they would they'd be pissed, and they should be pissed.

So I think any money we saved, whether it's a.

Dollar or a trillion dollars, we ought to be focused
on it. And I think that for now, that is
where the momentum is and we ought to hold onto that,
and we ought to fight that fight with the Democrats
every single day.

So the I want to dive deeper into the Doge issue,
specifically USAID. Your colleagues are losing it over the USAID situation,
which is one of the most wasteful, grotesque agencies. It's
actually a very good one for President Trump and Elon
Musk to focus on out of the gate, because it's
all about funding silly pet projects externally and not doing
(32:43):
anything internally. Let's play just some of this here. This
is cut. Let's just actually listen to Caroline Levitt list
out some of the waste from USAID. Play cut sixty
four through.

USAID over the past several years.

These are some of the insane priorities that that organization
has been spending money on. One point five million dollars
to advance DEI in Serbia's workplaces, seventy thousand for a
production of a DEI musical in Ireland, forty seven thousand
for a transgender opera in Colombia, thirty two thousand for
a transgender comic book in Peru. I don't know about you,
(33:21):
but as an American taxpayer, I don't want my dollars
going towards this crap, and I know the American people
don't either.

And that's exactly what Elon Musk has.

Been tasked by President Trump to do to get the fraud,
waste and abuse out of our federal government.

Senator, this is where our taxpayer dollars are going, and
they're mad that Elon and Doge are putting a stop
to it.

Yeah, that's exactly what's happening.

that this is sort of this is kind of business as.

Usual in permanent Washington.

It's also part of this decade's long failed foreign policy
establishment that is being forced out of Look in the
mirror a little bit like it's not working for the
American taxpayers. As Secretary of Rubio said, the only money
that we should be spending anywhere in the world is
if it advances US interests, our core US interests. Providing

sex change operations and doing this DEI stuff in foreign
countries is lunacy. But it's what happens when you have
these agencies that are totally unaccountable. They have a pot
of money and they get turf and they feel important
and they spend the money, and then they have politicians
that to get to travel those places, and then they
get to feel important when the leaders thank them for that,
(34:35):
Like that's not why I did this, Like it's I mean,
but that is why a lot of politicians in Washington,
you know, they love being greeted at the door and
thank you, thank you for all this bullshit or whatever
that we're spending money on. So anyway, I think the
reckoning is coming and that's a good thing.

And this is just the first step.

By the way, this is USAAD is like top of
the list, but it's not the only thing on the list.
And I think that again, this fight is worth having
across the board, Like dismantling the administrative state will do
more to restore the health of this republic than almost
anything else we can do.

Because they're totally unaccountable. You can't vote them.

That's exactly right, you know what I mean, And.

So like this is this is an important fight.

So let's emphasize that for a second, which is we
live under the appearance that there are co equal branches,
that the first executive branch, the legislative branch, and the
Supreme Court, that there's tension between them. You're speaking about
a fourth branch of government that was never authored by
the founders, the administrative state, and technically that should fall
(35:42):
under the vested authority of the president in Article two.
They don't believe that, and speak about how what is
what we are really barreling towards? We are barreling towards
a constitutional crisis. And I think the Supreme Court will
rule correctly on this of who actually runs the bureaucracy.
Speaker 13 (36:03):
Yeah, and I think look, COVID was so informative in
so many different ways. Power doesn't necessarily corrupt, it reveals,
and what COVID revealed was that there is a class
of people in this country, particularly on the left that
really does you know, the whole trust the experts thing.
This is a fight between we, the people and the experts.
(36:26):
It started with Woodrow Wilson. Not to get too historical
about this, but like maybe one of the worst presidents,
if not the worst president, who believed that the experts
knew better than the people. It's really a fundamental distrust
of our of our republic right that the people actually
get to decide what happens.

And so you're right.
Speaker 13 (36:42):
We have a vertical and horizontal separation of powers, whether
it's federalism or the three branches of government. The founders
envision that to constantly be checking one another so that
no one branch, no one person, ever got too powerful.
Why is that the fundamental goal was to protect individual liberty,
that is, that's the constant insitutional design that we have.

They never envisioned.
Speaker 13 (37:03):
A separate branch apart from that that would have immense
power over people's lives and livelihoods.
Speaker 12 (37:09):
And you never know who they are.
Speaker 13 (37:11):
Like you don't know their names or never heard of
thee But they can send a guidance letter and totally
destroy a third generation business, or they can have an
agency like OSHA that was created to make sure fork
lists beep when they back up force the COVID shot
on one hundred million people. So this fight really is
about it's the opening salvo about returning power back to
(37:33):
where it always belonged, which is with the people and
the Article one branch, the legislative body should be making
these decisions. It's one of the reasons why Mike Lee
and I and others are really pushing for the Rains
Act to get done.

Because if you have an agency that's.

That's trying to get a rule done, right, we should
have to vote on it. Like if you think banning
Guestow's is such a great idea, make us vote on it.
And the truth is those ideas would never come that
far because they know they're ridiculous that never get voted on.
But if they did, and somebody voted on it or
voted against it, you could hold them accountable for it.
So this is I think a really important fight about

like where does power reside? And that permanent Washington and
mostly the Democrats, they really don't like that being exposed
because it's been a great deal for them. They get
other people to do their bidding and they're never held
responsible for.

It, and this is exactly why they're going to try
to do everything they can to stop RUSS vote.

Russ Vote is prepared.

He's tip of the spirit, he's tip of their language, Charlie,

is their opening and closing argument during the campaign was
that Trump was a threat to democracy. Lost that in

What Elon has done is he has consolidated technological control
for the president by the way, as his emissary, as
his ambassador, as his representative, as his special government employee,
to say, we can now send mass emails to the

be able to email everyone at dot gov. There is

no federal directory of all the employees. There is no
way to be able to find out who does what
and where the payment systems are. Get me the passwords,
and you control the federal government. And the rock stars
he is bringing in are these young superstars. Here's one

are smarter than the entire combined intelligence of the US
Senator if you exclude Mike Lee and Ran Paul, and

and I get a text from another person on the

because it's like, oh my goodness, like we actually detected
new writing in the scrolls using AI. And that was

the moment I realized, like, this is actually going to work.

morning for dropping a figurative bomb on Tuesday during his

meeting with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin nt Yahoo. In case
you missed it, here's what he said.

The US will take over the Gaza Strip and we
will do a job with it too. We'll own it
and be responsible for dismantling all of the dangerous unexploded
bombs and other weapons on the site. Level the site
and get rid of the destroyed buildings. Level it out,
create an economic development that will supply unlimited numbers of

jobs and housing for the people of the area. Do
a real job, do something different. Just can't go back.
If you go back, it's gonna end up the same
way it has for one hundred years.

The President going on to suggest that displaced Palestinians in

in the meantime. After meeting with Netanyahu as well, the

current cease fire agreement just isn't viable while the logistics

Wikoff also plans to meet with Cutter's Prime Minister tomorrow
here in the United States to discuss the next phase
in the ceasefire between Israel and Hamas. The first illegal
aliens being housed at Guantanamo Bay are getting used to
their new digs right now. After the first military deportation
flight from the United States landed at the Cuban based
on Tuesday. The plane reportedly had ten migrants from Fort

Bliss and Texas on board. Eventually, the Trump administration expects
to house as many as thirty thousand illegals at Guantanamo
before repatriating them to their home countries. Though the first
flight to Guantanamo comes just one day after a flight
filled with Indian immigrants was sent back to India. Turns
out more than seven hundred and twenty five thousand Indians

or living in the United States without authorization, which is
the third most of any country. Other recent deportation flights
from the United States have gone to Ecuador, Guam, Honduras,
and Peru. Columbia, by the way, has also sent two
flights to the United States to pick up its citizens
after initially refusing to accept the US repatriation planes. The

US State Department is ordering all overseas missions for USAID
to shut down and all foreign staff to return home,
preferably as soon as Friday, plus nearly all of the
agency's employees will be put on leave Friday night. It's
the latest thing to shake up at the USAID, which
President Trump and Department of Government Efficiency had Elon Musk
agree is marred by fraud, waste, and abuse. The movement

appears to be the first step and potentially shutting down
the agency altogether. The agency has more than ten thousand employees,
with about.

point to millions of dollars being spent on everything but that.

The remains of all sixty seven people killed have now
been recovered. Meantime, the National Transportation Safety Board is looking
at new information and trying to confirm that the Blackhawk
helicopter was in fact flying above its two hundred foot
flight ceiling, potentially even as high as three hundred feet.

Recorder from on board the plane confirms that it was
flying at an attitude of about three hundred and twenty
five feet when it crashed. Investigators are also hoping to

for women and girls. So far, the Senate, as we know,
has not brought it up to vote. We all know
executive orders can be overturned, so I'm wondering how important
it is to the President to get Congress to bring
this to pass legislation, so there are no instances like
the passive administration that really tried to destroy Title nine.

It's incredibly important that Congress immediately acts on this priority.
I think the President is really setting the tone, making
this a very immediate priority for this administration, just as
he promised to do on the campaign trail. And I'd
like to get into the executive order a little bit
because it is the news of the day here at
the White House, and talk about what this executive action

will actually do. So the executive order that the President,
the President will be signing later this afternoon, as I said,
upholds the promise of Title nine. It also will require
the DOJ to abide by the nationwide previous administration's illegal
Title nine rewrite that would have dissolved single sex spaces
and opportunities. It also requires immediate action, including enforcement actions

against schools and athletic associations comprised of schools that deny
women single sex sports in single sex locker rooms. The
executive order also calls for the convening of private sporting.

We want them to come to this case so the
President can hear in person the stories of female athletes
who have suffered lifelong industry injuries, who have been silenced
and forced to shower with men and compete with men

talk to them to hear their stories. Then I would
also just add one more thing.

States is not going to pay for the rebuilding of Gaza.

And let me just take a step back here, because
this is an out of the box idea. That's who
President Trump is, that's why the American people elected him,

been made very clear to the President that the United
States needs to be revolved involved in this rebuilding effort
to assure stability in the region for all people. But
that does not mean boots on the ground in Gaza.
It does not mean American taxpayers will be funding this effort.
It means Donald Trump, who is the best deal maker
on the planet, is going to strike a deal with
our partners in the region.

spoke with the King of Bahrain, he spoke with the

Crown Prince of Saudi Arabia, and he has made it
very clear.

Our partners in the region, particularly Egypt and Jordan, to
accept Palestinian refugees temporarily so that we can rebuild their home.

that is, as they put it, in an apocalyptic scene
in Gaza, this is an unhabitable place for human beings.

Steve Whitcoff, recently traveled to Gaza, as you all know,
and he came back with images that he showed the
President of the dire situation here, and the President made
this decision with a humanitarian heart for all people in
the region.

been a total of four hundred and sixty one illegal aliens.
This is of this morning when I got this information
from DHS that have been released from custody. Of the
more than eight thousand that have been arrested since President
Trump was inaugurated, it's less than six percent, and there

are reasons for their release. Some of the factors include
a lack of significant likelihood of removal and the foreseeable
future lack of detention availability, which is something this President
in this administration has been.

We are doing everything we can to deport and detain
illegal immigrants, but we need Congress's help to increase funding
for border patrol and for ICE, to increase detention capability
in our facilities. And then other serious medical conditions have

these individuals, but none of them have final deportation orders.
Many of them are probably contesting their immigration status. I'd

get that information because I knew it would be a question.

ensure that this can be a place where all people

popular position. There have been many notable female athletes who
have had the courage to speak out against some very
powerful institutions in this country.

signed a litany of executive orders across the board in

He committed to cutting ten regulations for every new one
on the book. As you know working for a Fox
business related outlet, deregulation and energy independence are huge drivers
of reducing inflation in this country, and I think Americans

his first term when again, inflation was one point four
percent when he left office once.

Or is it a year? And will Americans have the

our military are at crisis levels, and it serves as

do believe it's a culture problem within these institutions that
the President is very much committed to fixing, as emphasized

by the executive orders he has signed to DEI out
of the military. And I think when young men and
women who are honorably signing up to serve in our
nation's see somebody like Pete Hegseth, the new Secretary of Defense,
who is a proven warfighter who risked his life in
battle for this country, who understands what it means to
deploy and to defend the constitution and your nation abroad

and to put your life on the line. When they
see a leader like that, and a leader like President
Trump who has committed to peace through.

actions to help people in California.

We try to be very transparent about what the President

on the front lines of the border crisis in this country.
And as for Governor Gavin Newsom, well, the President is
willing to work with anybody from Blue states or red

states to do it's best for the American people. And
he really enjoyed The President really enjoyed his trip to
Pacific Palisades last week. He felt very inspired by the
frustration of the residents there, and he has been wholeheartedly
committed to ensuring that the water is flowing in California
to prevent these wildfires and also that people have access

to their properties. And he has continued to apply tremendous
pressure to Gavin Newsom and also the Los Angeles Mayor
to allow private residents and property owners to access their property.
He believes that's their right to do so and they
should be able to do it. And one more thing
before I wrap up, because I do want to get
to these meetings and I will see you all at
the EO signing later this afternoon. I would just say

that you brought to mind California in North Carolina, who
continue to be on our hearts, and the President and
this administration are committed to ensuring that these individuals get
the funding that they need. And I would just say
a strong message to Democrats who are out there pretending
to be outraged about the long list of crap that
this administration is cutting federal waste and funding like two

million dollars for sex changes in Guatemala, six million to
fund tourism in Egypt, twenty million on a new sesame
street show in Iraq, four point five million to combat
disinformation in Kazakhstan. I could go on and on, and
I'm happy to provide this list to every single one
of you. Democrats are outraged that the American people want
to be They want their taxpayers going to good uses,

not stuff like this. But then they're very quiet about
the fact that there are still North Carolinians and people
in California who have lost everything and in the last
four years the federal government did nothing to help them.
This president will continue to put Americans first, and I
think the successes of this week so far speak to that.

is it is also it also plays a critical role
in projecting US influence around the world.

mines in Argentina, and gum for the pencil eraser from
trees in Malaysia. Well, you know what happens if, for example,
the Malaysian government decides that they no longer want to
allow you know, US corporations or the export of you know,

pencils unless we had some capacity to influence the internal
events of Malaysia.

to influence the activity of those unions or influence the

where it doesn't even require a presidential finding to do
this covert action. And so I did not It was unseemly,
but perhaps okay when this was being done to protect
US interests. But when USAID began to be weaponized against
sitting presidents beginning in twenty sixteen, that's really when the

bets are off. Because the whole purpose of having an
American empire is for the benefit of the people of
the American homeland. If the foreign policy establishment controls the
affairs of the American homeland too. Then we don't even
have a democracy. We have a blobocracy, and we have
no control over our own internal affairs. We're not even
setting our own foreign policy at that.

the USAID fight, we have the doche fight, we have
this funding issue in front of us. Mike Benz, Mike Benz,
if you were to say one two three, we only
have four minutes remaining, one two three, what are the
one two three action items on how we should finalize
this USAID situation in front of us.

Number one, shut down the agency and move it into
a branch of the government that goes through the traditional
oversight process. So, for example, I think this plan to
shut down US eight and tucka understate.

It is a very interesting one.

I'm not sure if that's ultimately the best place for it,
but as an intronim matter, I think it's potentially potentially
the right move. But what's what's really what's really important
is is it's you know, and I say this, you
know time and time against you know for the past
week and a half since this saga has been playing out.

But simply ending USAID as an organization does not end
USAID as a function. If if USAID grants and contracts
and operational structuring remained the same, but the organ but
headquarters simply shut down and moved over to State, well
state just inherits a USAID herpes infection, it simply will
(01:37:34):
will have the same problems that USAID had if that
structuring fundamentally remains. This is the same reason there really
wouldn't be much change in the CIA if you simply
shut down Langley and moved CIA to be directly under state.
In fact, this was the original plan in nineteen forty
eight for the CIA. George Kennon, who authored the National
(01:37:56):
Security Council tend Dash to Plausible Deniability DOT, which gives
the CIA it's private cloak for all of its covered
action work. George Kennon, three months before he penned that doctrine,
initially wanted the CIA Operations Division to operate directly at
State under what he called the Bureau of Political Warfare.

You can read the nineteen forty eight memo called the
Inauguration of Organized Political Warfare where he goes over that
exact structure. But the fact is the CI would still
be doing CIA work, it would just be warehouse within State.
And right now USAID is about to undergo that exact process.

The nice thing is is because because State works very
closely with the White House National Security Council, and there
is a tremendous amount of constant communication and oversight between
White House and State, in theory, it will be much
easier to catch the malfeasance at State than it was

a USAID. But the problem is is everybody's everybody in
Washington is in on the take at USAID. You know,
this is a bigger problem than Democrats and Republicans. You know,
as I mentioned, a huge portion of the of the
Republican Congress is directly or indirectly, whether personally or their

constituents or their donors are dependent on either USAID funding
directly or USAID covert influence work to support their activities.
I'll give you a great example. Rex Tillerson was the
chairman of ex On Mobile for the first few years
of the Trump administration. Exon Mobil has been a stalwart
(01:39:41):
donor to the Republican Party for decades. Well, you know
who was Victoria Neulan standing in front of when she
made that speech that I referenced in December twenty thirteen
about all the billions of dollars USAID had pumped into
the rent of riots in Ukraine. In twenty fourteen, when
she made that speech about USAID's funding of the rent
(01:40:01):
to riots, she was at a sponsored event by egx
On Mobile and Chevron. The literal signs for the eggs
and Chevron's sponsors were behind Victoria Newland when she said it.
Which is to say that it's not just the direct
USAID folks in the Republican Party who are going to
push back on the attempt to cut these grants while
(01:40:22):
they're at state. It's not just going to be the
Liz Cheney types. Liz Cheney worked at us AID. It's
not just going to be the Bill Crystal types. Bill
Crystal's a part of an organization that gets millions from
the USAID. But it's going to be key donors to
the Republican Party who're going to want to keep these
grants and contracts and covert operations flowing. And there's going
to need to be a very difficult conversation by highly
(01:40:45):
informed Trump world foreign policy architects about how to make
American state craft more consistent with American norms and values
in the years of ha Very.
