What we're doing is we're targeting the worst first, right,

not targeting people in schools, We're not targeting people in churches.
We're targeting people who are the worst. You know, there's
a chance they're going to go to some of those places.
And this administration has kind of taking some of the
handcuffs off of us in a way right where we're

leaving the discretion with our officers, and our officers they're
drained to make good decisions out there.

Well, look, I went to Chicago a couple of times
and met with the black pastors, met with the community.
They're begging for ICE enforcement action because of the crime
in Chicago. I made a commitment to it.

I also made commit to the mayor of Chicago that
I'm coming to Chicago, even though he said it wasn't welcome.
I wanted all to make a point that ICE is

We stopped at a police station to take a nature break,
and we're run on the road so long, and every
uniform that building walked up shake our hands and thanked

or automatic citizenship or the children of illegal aliens, that's

foreign grants. Now all of those things are good. There's
freezes on visas, there's freezes on re entry. There's the
border is completely frozen. And it is difficult to keep
pace and to keep up.

which is another very exciting thing.

they call it, inside the White House compound.

We've got CNN headline all federal grants and loan disbursement
paused by White House. Now this one seems to have
them very much in a tizzy. So reading from CNN,
which is regime controlled media, it says the White House
Budget Office has ordered a pause on all federal grants

and loans according to an internal memorandum sent Monday, potentially
impacting trillions, yes trillions with a t in government spending
and halting public programs that affect millions of Americans. Federal
agencies must temporarily pause all activities related to obligation or
disbursement of all federal financial assistants. So we don't even

have rest vote in yet at OMB and the acting
O and B director is already putting out this memoranda.
So the memo specifies that the pause will not affect
Social Security or Medicare benefits, and does not include assistance
provided directly to individuals. Nevertheless, this is Trump bad. Trump

hates people. Trump's going to cause people to not be
able to eat.

That's false.

It's a temporary review and it will provide the administration
time to review agency programs and determine the best uses
of the funding for those programs consistent with the law
and the president's priorities.

So the other thing that we have to look into is.

That this memoranda also says that it is in line
with the executive orders last week. What were the executive
orders about last week? This will be implicating dei woke
gender ideology and the Green New Deal, and foreign aid
and non governmental organizations.

Non governmental organizations, this would be like Catholic charities that's
trying to help illegals game our immigration system, and a
lot of other NGOs that are doing that. By the way,
these NGOs, folks, they go by the name of refugee resettlement,
that this is such a good thing.

They often quote.

Scripture to completely game our immigran system and make money
while doing it.

So what they do is they charge maybe twenty thirty

Biden put a prioritization on to bring them here into

basically comply with ice and you have to talk and
you get a lawyer and one will be paid for

that Christy nom was photographed in New York City doing

fully kitted out. Now, some people don't like that. Some

prioritization at the top level of our government, including Christy Nome,

President Trump's White House Press Secretary, Caroline Levitt, will lead

youngest White House Press secretary ever, there's no word if
President Trump will join her in the James S. Brady
Press Briefing Room. During his previous administration, she of course
made frequent stops in the room to face off with reporters.

briefing throughout the day. Meantime, President Trump is continuing to
push the envelope now that he is a full week
into his administration. His remarks to fellow Republicans on Monday
night at his Drow resort in Miami of people buzzing
this morning. Congressional Republicans are at that resort as part
of a three day retreat to put together a game
plan to successfully move the Trump agenda forward. On Monday,

the twenty seventh, President doubling down on his philosophy on tariffs.

Instead of taxing our citizens to enrich foreign nations, we

the popular social media app. Just last week, TikTok was
on the verge of being banned in the United States
unless it's Chinese owners divested from the program due to
national security concerns. However, President Trump saved it with an
executive order delaying that bann by seventy five days. While
Microsoft isn't commenting on its potential purchase of the video app,

President Trump is openly saying that he'd like to see
a bidding war over TikTok. The app has about one
hundred and seventy million users here in the United States.

with you. But I can tell you one thing. The
crowd is growing inside that press room, as it has
been all morning. It seems like there is an elevated
buzz around this press conference. Obviously, this is the first
time we've had a press conference, so we've seen Caroline
Levitt in this capacity in this.

And and you know what, there's new media outlets out
here that I've never seen before around the White House.
So there is certainly a buzz in the air. Andrew
and I can expect this thing also to be filled
with a ton of questions, as you would imagine on
the media here, they want to kind of be able
to scrutiny is a lot what President Trump has done

this first, I guess two weeks of his administration. But
I will say this a little bit in an addition
that I've not seen in there before. They do have
these two video screens on either side of where Levitt
will be standing. Perhaps I'll use that as kind of
a slideshow or maybe something to be able to play
some video to back up some of the statements and
kind of recap what has happened the last several day,

ten or whatever day we're on at this point. It's
been going so fast as we know. But that's kind
of an additional changes that I've noticed inside. But as
soon as we're done here, we're going to move inside
and being ready positioned for this press conference schedule to
start at one o'clock.

So, Brian, a lot has been made about the seating
arrangement that we can expect, right. I mean, in years past,
we've seen New York Times what we like to call
the regime media, the legacy media outlets seated right up front.
There's been a lot of news made about who Karine
Jean Pierre would call on who she would not. Can
you do you have any insight yet about how the

seating arrangement is going to be Our outlets like Real
America's Voice, Turning Point USA, we have our own White
House co correspondent as well in there.

Do you have any insight on that yet? I don't.

I will say this, I think it is business as
usual as far as seating goes for this particular press conference. Now,
as we move forward, I don't know what that would
look like. I could imagine after this a first initial conference,
that the seating charts, the seating arrangement, the assignments will
be scrambled up a little different, putting a little bit

more of maybe your conservative based media towards the front,
or maybe I scould say the ones that are fair
and unbalanced right up in front. But to your point,
I have not heard any changes for this one, but
I can expect that is going to be revised moving forward,

because this is very much a different administration as we know.
I mean, it seems like forever, uh that the previous
Press secretary really protected Joe Biden from any type of
official scrutiny of anything that he did. And of course, uh,
they will use this pulpit today, if you will, to
absolutely unleash on President Trump a lot of things like immigration, Andrew,

it's been highly criticized across most of the mainstream media. UH,
So I would expect a fair amount of questions on
that subject today, but I do expect some other uh documentation.
I mean, using these video screens, Andrew, is a great
idea because instead of turning to the to the to
the UH, to the to the book of the Binder,

I guess would that would have all these answers?

Why not just show a video?

Why not show just a PowerPoint presentation, if you will,
about what this last few days have been in terms
of the accomplishments, the executive orders, some of the changes
that have happened within our government, within our military, these
Senate confirmation hearings, all the stuff can be displayed on
these monitors, and I think it gives a great visual

to this whole press conference.

I think we need to be more creative in government.
I think this administration is proving how creative you can
be and not being fired by the way things have

of what how perhaps we were to be treated a

Where dozens of ICE agents took to the streets of Maryland,
arresting illegal aliens who also have criminal records.

he broke the news that Microsoft is in talks to

conservatives for lower health care costs. With President Donald Trump
now back in the White House, praise God, we're all

excited about big changes ahead which will make America, make
America great again. But even with defeat of their supporters
last November, Big Pharma is still threatening to derail the
Trump Agenda, oppose RFK Junior's upcoming reforms, and they want
to block competition and keep drug prices too high. Big
Pharma sets the price of drugs this year. They raise

the price on more than five hundred and seventy five
of them. They're anti competitive practices, block competition so they
can keep prices high, and they spend billions of dollars
on ads pushing their high price brand name drugs on
working Americans. But Big Pharma wants even more now they're
using Congress to undermine incentives in.

The private healthcare market that help.

American employers and families get savings on prescription drugs. Conservatives
for Lower Healthcare Costs warns that big Pharma is no
friend to the Trump agenda or the pocketbooks of American people.
They oppose solutions to lower drug prices and President Trump's
first agenda, and they are after huge money grabs again
in Trump two point zero. So how do you help?

there's just so much to discuss. But you know, the
real impetus for this was your op ed and Newsweek,
and I thought it was a really really fun title
for an op ed.

First of all, the Cold Civil War is over.

We won now, Josh, I want to get I want
you to make your argument here, but I you know,
I just want to say I'm not you know, I'm
not up in Champagne is yet. There's a lot of
work to do. But I think the premise of your
article holds. Why do you say we won the Cold
Civil War? What is the Cold Civil War? Make your case, Andrew.

Let me first say that the fact that.

The enemy is slayed at least for the time being,
I agree, does not necessarily mean that it will not,
one day, god forbid, possibly rise like a phoenix from
the ashes to create more chaos and mayhem and to
sow the seeds of discourse.

So while I am definitely celebrating, I agree that we
should not rest on our laurels. It is definitely time
to keep the momentum going. But the reason that I
picked this very fun title, I'm glad you agree with me.
I thought it was a very fun title as well,
is that what we've seen thus far in the opening
week or so of this second donaldru administration, is the

most transformative culture, cultural paradigm shifting moment that I think
we've seen probably in our lifetimes. And basically in the
columnand I take a step back, Barack Obama declared war
in America. He declared war in America and instituted our
modern American civil war, our cold civil royal in cold

(30:10):
civil war. This happened because Barack Obama basically said that
he was doing it. He famously said in February two
thousand name that he sought to fundamentally transform America. And
one does not seek to fundatally transform that which he
loves or seeks to conserve. And we saw this time
and time again throughout the Obama presidency, whether it came
to Obamacare, the largest entitlement since Lyndon Johnson's Great Society,
when it came to the issue of beating up on cops,

of exacerbating racial relations, of having Eric Holder his attorney general,
you so called disparate impact theory that was kind of
the predecessor to Ebram X. Kennedy and anti racism, whether
it was all the foreign policy nonsense with the Iran deal.
Barack Obama tried time and time again to declare war
on the half of America that he infamously called bitter
clingers that he'll reclint in twenty sixteen referred to as deplorables,

and that civil war was stopped for four years body
Don Trump administration, or at least three and a half
years or so until George Floyd met Derek Shauvin in Minneapolis, Minnesota,
and we all saw what happened from there, the riots
of the summer of twenty twenty and there and then
we got Peaquoke. The past four years prior to Donald
Trump getting back in the Oval Office the Joe Biden presidency.

He literally chose a Vice President of the United States,
Kamala Harris, because she was a quote unquote woman of color.
He literally chose his one justice on the United States
Supreme Court Ktanji Brown Jackson, because she is a quote
unquote woman of color. Time and time again, as folks
like Chris Ruffo have reported, they weaponized all the various
instrumentalities of the American administrative, state and executive branch who

implement so called DEI to overtly discriminate against white people,
against Christians, Jews, Asians in favor of.

Blacks, Hispanics, and so forth.

Speaker 18 (31:45):
There and just basically everything that we saw over the
past four years, this was the moment that woke reached.
I think it's apotheosis. It's been slay. It's been slay
because Donald Trump Andrew adopted a mentality to go back
to the Morning in America line that I was saying
a few minutes ago. He adopted an old Reagan eight
mantra and what Ronald Reagan famously said when he was

(32:07):
asked for his approach to the Cold War and he
came into power in nineteen eighty coming off the nineteen seventies,
you had differing opinions. In the nineteen seventies, there was
Henry Kissinger, in daytons, there was kind of the Cold
War hawks a bat Then Ronald Reagan famously said that
his approach the Cold War we win and they lose.
People said that he was crazy, that he was a cowboy,
he was a warmonger, But that mentality Andrew helped win

(32:28):
the Cold War.

Speaker 1 (32:29):
I think Donald Trump has.

Speaker 18 (32:30):
Taken that exact same mentality to his second term in office.
And I'm not entirely sure what the exact moment was
that galvanized him to adopt this Reagan eye mantra. I
suspect it was probably around the time that Joe Biden,
Merrick Garland, and so called special counsel Jack Smith started
to incarcerate him, to proscute him, try to throw him
in jail, bankrupt and ruin him of all his possessions,
basically deprive him of his liberty and his livelihood. Maybe

(32:52):
he was around the time that Thomas Matthew Crooks and
Butler of Pennsylvania came within millimeters of assassining him before
a global television aughties.

Speaker 1 (32:58):
But at some point, at some point.

Speaker 18 (33:00):
Donald Trump had kind of his Clarence Thomas nineteen ninety
one Anita Hill moments where he looked at all this
radicalization around him and said, you know what, this is enough.

Speaker 1 (33:08):
I am over this.

Speaker 18 (33:10):
And you know what, to quote Barack Obama, get me
my freaking pen, get me my freaking phone, because this
crap ain't gonna fly anymore come day one. And that
was what we saw last weekend. We saw all these
executive orders. I mean the DEI executive Order alone, just
focusing on that one executive order, and there's been so
many amazing ones it's hard to know even where to start.
There's been the gender ideology, birthright citizenship. It's amazing stuff

(33:32):
coming out of this White House. But just the DEI
Executive Order, it doesn't just get rid of DEI in
the executive branch. It actually goes way past that. It
instructs the Attorney General and the Secretary of Education, the
whole cabinet to enforce Title six and to interpret the
Supreme Court's Affirmative Action case Tunes for Fair Emissions so
as to effectively ban DEI in any taxpayer support institution

(33:56):
in America. This is the kind of stuff that wins
culture wars. So again, let's not rest in our laurels.
I understand, like you know, constant vigilance, and let's let'
let's keep our let's keep our foot on the gas
pedal and keep on plowing full speed ahead.

But for now, for now, what we have seen is
the stuff of legends.

Speaker 18 (34:14):
Frankly, it kind of reminds me, as I said in
the column, I remember when I was a kid learning
about how the English took over what was then called
New Amsterdam and then they renamed the New York City
from Peter Steives into the Dutch in the sixteen hundreds.

They famously took it over without.

Speaker 18 (34:28):
Fight, without firing a single shot, because it was just
a pure, unmitigated demonstration of force, and the enemy yielded
at that demonstration of force. That's very much how I
view what happened over this past week.

I think that was.

Speaker 10 (34:41):
Extraordinarily well, said Josh. I. You know, and I want
to believe that all of this is going to happen
without a single shot.

Speaker 1 (34:50):
I mean, and once there's a lot of reason to believe.

That we have now become the dominant force in culture,
and not just politically, which obviously we control the three
branches of the government, but culturally, philosophically, ideologically, you can
feel the momentum behind more of a traditional Americana, this
triumphant Americana, this manifest destiny, whether it be Greenland or
Panama or Canada, or just retaking the border. Pete Heg said, saying, yeah,

we're going to get operational control of our southern border.
You've got ice raids where we are from a pr standpoint,
this administration is doing a fantastic job projecting strength to
the world. You saw this with Columbia and the little
tip that happened over the weekend, how quickly that was resolved.

Speaker 1 (35:35):
And then and then and then and on and on
and on it goes.

Speaker 10 (35:38):
And what I find particularly instructive and encouraging, Josh, is
the polling. You've got Harry Enton at CNN going on
in front of you know, Casey Hunt or whatever. The
host is going like, Hey, these numbers are extraordinary and
just just for our audience to sake, consider this. Donald
Trump is the only president in the history of the

(36:00):
country that has a higher approval rating at the start
of his second term than he ever did in his
first term. A majority of all Americans support deportation of all,
not some, not the worst first, which obviously Tom Homan
budget constraints, manpower constraint is starting with the worst first,
but a majority, a clear majority across like five different

(36:22):
polls say that Americans support deporting all illegals. This is
a phenomenal, phenomenal showing, and it shows Josh that the
main street America, average America is seeing the changes already,
are seeing the momentum shift, and American malaise is out,
America's self constraint is out. And so I do want

(36:45):
to be really, really encouraged by this.

Speaker 1 (36:47):
There's a part of.

Speaker 10 (36:48):
Me that just, you know, I think can't get over
the trauma of twenty twenty or twenty twenty two and
won't quite believe it. But Josh, do you think this
has staying power? Do you think we are at the
beginning of an eight twelve year run. I do, I
absolutely do.

Speaker 18 (37:05):
I think that Jdvans is Vice President of United States,
is kind of the natural heir to the throne and
will obviously have that debate. I presume in the year
twenty twenty eight but God will in the next four
years will go well. And JD who is literally only
forty years old, is kind of a logical successor there.
And that's part of the reasons that Donald Trump tapped
Jdvans in the first place, right, and because he's making
a long term play here. I mean, look at his

cabinet picks. I mean you mentioned Pete Hegsaf. Pete Heggsaf
is what forty four or forty five years old. I mean,
so many of these cabinet picks are very very young people.

This is a movement, Andrew.

Speaker 18 (37:34):
And what's so fascinating is that MAGA America first just
being on the right of center right now in America
more generally.

Speaker 1 (37:41):
Speaking, this is cool.

Speaker 18 (37:43):
I mean, this is kind of the anti establishment mentality,
the same way that Barack Obama was considered irreverence and
back in nineteen sixties, all the quote unquote self professed
school kids. You know, we're bringing down college campuses, the
Vietnam world that's off.

MAGA is basically that today.

Speaker 18 (37:57):
I mean, this is kind of the middle finger to
thet ah and the Democratic Party is a rotting carcass.
It is filled with octogenarian septuagenarians, people who are literally
two to three decades past their prime. Joe Biden's obviously
a perfect encapsulation of that there, and the Republican Party
is filled with young, up and coming people who have
an inherent love of their country there, and that's being
reflected in the popular culture. Look at all the people

in these NFL playoffs and the college wable playoffs. We're
doing the Trump dance in the end zone after getting
a touchdown, Carrie Underweld going acappella at that the inaugural
address there, that was so many cultural moments and these
big tech oligards.

I mean, just on and on, and Josh, I don't
mean to cut you off. We're gonna have another segment
with you to keep diving into this, but I completely agree.
There was that New York magazine piece that just came
out talking about all the young energy around the inauguration.
They tried to make it like racist. We can talk
about that when we're back, but that is cool, guys,

in this audience, the amount of transformational change that is
possible with this new, young, vibrant core of leadership that

is assuming control both from a media standpoint and an
actual power standpoint, the reigns of actual power. It's impossible
to fully comprehend or appreciate at this juncture. History will
write about these days. History will write about these leaders
and they will transform America back to the founder's intent,

not to create some corrupt, muddled Frankenstein that would that
the founders wouldn't even recognize. But they will restore the Americanism,
the dynamism of our people in.

this because Brock also applied for press credentials at the

on the red carpet. There's pictures of our ball in

this story. But you know, the pushback is hilarious about
this piece, but I think it's an interesting even the
journalist in this piece, Josh, admits that we're winning, that
we are culturally ascended, that we are now dominating realms
of culture that would have been hard to fathom just
a few years ago. And I believe that they've cropped

this picture to make it look more racist, like it's
only white kids or something. There's a whole bunch of
a whole bunch of that going on here. But it's like, Josh,
take take This picture is just one instance. It's a
bunch of young, successful, happy kids drinking a you know,
at a trendy cocktail party.

And you know, I guess if that's.

Like cruel celebrating the dawn of a new administration in
New America, you know, I guess, you know, cry harder
lib as my you know, instant reaction.

What do you make of this and what does this
tell us?

Well, first of all, angew I'm pretty sure they did
do exactly that which you said they did, which that
they cropped out this photo. They edited it, they photoshopped
to make it look just more monolithically white than it
is there. But you know, I think a normal American
looks at this photo, whether it's been photoshopped or cropped,
edited or not, and says, oh, wow, these are a
bunch of like pretty good looking young people having a

great time. They're dressed nicely. There, they're clanking their glasses,
they're saying cheers.

Speaker 1 (43:33):
There.

Speaker 18 (43:34):
I'm sorry, I'm not seeing anything wrong with this picture, Andrew.
I'm simply just not seeing anything. And I think what
kind of the broader point is getting at here? This
is the point that I've made actually for a few
years now. I think this is part of the left's
war on fun. I actually literally call the war on fun.
You know, whether it's trying to call you a scold
for driving a gas guzzling pickup truck or an suv,

whether they're calling you a bad person for wanting to
have numerous kids kids, you know that whole be fruitful
and multiply thing right there from the Book of Genesis.
God forbid you actually take God at his word and
have three, four or five. You know, God knows who
many children who are going to consume oxygen and spit
out carbon dioxide. You know, you're a very very bad person.
Like they definitely hate that, Andrew. You know, God forbid

you actually teach your children about religion, about the Bible,
about the things I've actually built this country, about the
founding Fathers, about the constitucial convention.

You can't have any of that either there.

I mean, the left has become just these pearl clutching
bunch of overtally faux moralistic primadonnas. That's basically what they
become there, and they hate looking at anyone who is
more successful than them. That obviously gets back to kind
of the roots of socialism and Marxism is this whole
idea of envy and class envy and individual envy.

That's definitely part of this as well.

There, but they're just fundamentally just a bunch of just
a rag tag and frankly, Andrew, if I'm just being
very blunt for a second here, you know, I was
looking at this at this rally on the eve of
the inauguration, the left wing rally there with kind of
those pain hats whatever, the women's marched off there on
the National Mall. A bunch of ugly people. I mean,
I'm probably gonna enhol for saying that there, but like
these are just typically they are excit, but a bunch

of like very ugly people, honestly.

Speaker 10 (45:11):
Josh, I mean, think about it, you know, And I
think Matt Walsh made this point on Twitter. We like
Matt a lot, and he had a great role to
play in you know, just his film and so many
other things. But what reads is left wing now besides
like a bunch of purple haired, you know, nose piercing,
you know, many obese or at least overweight young people

screaming about some injustice that they've invented in a college laboratory.
I mean literally, if young kids having fun, if young kids,
you know, wearing a flannel and in the country, you know,
listening to country music, whatever. I mean, we are the
fun movement and this it's a very fascinating point, Josh,
and we'll throw it back to you for thirty seconds

to react.

You know, it.

Seemed like in two thousand and eight, this intruscendency of
the left promised all of these things but failed to deliver. Instead,
it delivered this dystopian, puritanical scolding you from the left
about these invented injustices. And this movement, I believe can
actually deliver on the promise of lifting everybody and having fun.

Well, you're totally right to take it back to two
thousand and eight, and that's where I started my cold
civil wars over op at too, because it does go
back to Barack Obama in a two thousand and eight campaign, Andrew,
if the left is going to have any chance of recovering,
and thank god, it's not my problem. I'm a man
of the right obviously, but if the left is going
to have any chance of recovering here, Andrew, they have
to disavow the entirety of the Barack Obama legacy and

his post presidential legacy. They need to go back to
the old Democratic Party of Bill Clinton and his predecessors, who,
whatever their flaws were, they were focused on bread and
butter issues, not this woke prep.

if President Trump will join her for today's briefing. During

his previous administration, he of course made frequent stops in
the room to face off with reporters. Real America's Voice
National correspondent Brian Glynn is at today's briefing. He is
there in the room. I'm sure he'll get in a
question today. After spending the day on Monday with President
Trump and Republican members of Congress at Durral in Miami.
We're hearing that President Trump is back at the White

House today. We're hearing that he received a national security
briefing earlier this morning there at the White House. But
again still no word if in fact he's going to
be speaking here at today's press briefing or if he
will make an appearance. We of course will stay on
this live for you throughout the day, and the moment
Caroline Levitt takes the podium will listen in in the meantime.

One of the issues that we're expecting President Trump to
speak about today, or at very least Caroline levi at
at the White House Press Secretary is immigration Enforcement, as
well as border security. Immigration and Customs enforcement agents are
continuing to ramp up deportation operations from coast to coast.
You're looking at video from suburban Washington, DC, where dozens
of ICE agents took to the streets of Maryland arresting

illegal aliens who also have criminal records, and they'll eventually
be deported.

Now, so far, we've apprehended the man wanted for homicide.
Now Salvador, we've apprehended the armed robber. We are currently
sitting outside and waiting for the conviction for child pornography.
We're going to sit on that house for a couple
more hours. And the drug dealer gave us a bad address,
but we're we're gonnahunt him down, Like my officers are

the best in the business at this so we will
find him.

In its daily update on AX, on Monday, ICE reported
one and seventy nine arrests. The day before, the agency
reported nine hundred and fifty six arrests.

From tariffs to saving TikTok, President Trump is literally plugged.
In Monday, he broke the news that Microsoft is in
talks to acquire the popular social media app.

Just last week, TikTok.

Was on the verge of being banned in the United
States unless it's Chinese owners divest from the program due
to national security concerns. However, President Trump saved it with
his executive order delaying the ban by seventy five days.
While Microsoft isn't commenting on its potential purchase of the
video app. President Trump is openly saying that he'd like
to see a bidding war for TikTok. The app, by

the way, was about one hundred and seventy million, where
has about one hundred and seventy.

Million users here in the United States.

Again, the other big, the other big headline of the
day is happening at the White House right now. The
reporters are in place here waiting for the Trump administration's
press briefing, which is expected to happen quite literally at
any moment. It was scheduled for one o'clock, so we're
about three minutes behind. But what is historic about this
is that Caroline Levitt, twenty seven years.

Old, will become the youngest.

Ever White House Press secretary to meet with the media. Obviously,
a number of major issues to be addressed today. Front
and center, very likely will be immigration enforcement and President
trump promise of mass deportation. That, of course, is already underway,
as ICE has already arrested thousands of people across the
country and it's continuing its enforcement. President Trump also just

yesterday on Monday, met with lawmakers from Capitol Hill at
his golf course in Durau. A number of issues discussed there.
Among those issues were his tariffs. President Trump has promised
tariffs on countries like Canada, Mexico as well as China.
So I'm sure that Caroline Levitt will field questions related
to that as well. And then of course there will

be questions about the economy and President Trump's foreign policy.
All of those questions, we will take you to live

or to ask questions of Caroline Levitt, who is the
White House Press Secretary, and we're expecting that she will
be walking through the doors here at any moment now
taking the podium. She very likely will make a couple
of quick statements, and then she will very likely take
questions from the media.

having trouble access in the portal. Could you help us
clear up something that you can give some certainty to folks.
And also, is that uncertainty, how does that uncertainty service
the President's voters.

Well, I think there's only uncertainty in this room. Amongst
the media, there's no uncertainty in this building. So let
me provide the certainty and the clarity.

This is not a blanket pause on federal assistance in
grant programs from the Trump administration. Individual assistance that includes
I'm not naming everything that's included, but just to give
you a few examples, Social Security benefits, Medicare benefits, food Stamps,
welfare benefits. Assistance that is going directly to individuals will

not be impacted.

By this pause.

And I want to make that very clear to any
Americans who are watching at home who may be a
little bit confused about some of the media reporting this administration.
If you are receiving individual assistance from the federal government.
You will still continue to receive that. However, it is
the responsibility of this president and this administration to be
good stewards of taxpayer dollars. That is something that President

Trump campaigned on. That's why he has launched DOGE, the
Department of Government Efficiency, who is working alongside OMB. And
that's why OMB sent out this memo last night, because
the President signed an executive order directing OMB.

To do just this.

And the reason for this is to ensure that every
penny that is going out the door is not conflicting
with the executive orders and actions that this president has taken.
So what does this pause mean. It means no more
funding for illegal DEI programs. It means no more funding
for the Green New scam that has cost American taxpayers
tens of billions of dollars. It means no more funding

(01:09:44):
for transgenderism and wokeness across our federal bureaucracy and agencies.
No more funding for Green New Deal social engineering policies. Again,
people who are receiving individual assance assistants, you will continue
to receive that, and President Trump is looking out for
you by issuing this pause because he is being good
steward of your taxpayer dollars.

And how is the Trump administration recommending that organizations that
rely on federal funding make payroll pay their rent. In
the meantime, it is a temporary pause in the Office
of Management and Budget is reviewing the federal funding that
has been going out the door. Again, not for individual assistance,
but for all of these other programs that I mentioned.

I also spoke with the incoming Director of OMB this
morning and he told me to tell all of you
that the line to his office is open for other
federal government agencies across the board, and if they feel
that programs are necessary and in line with the President's agenda,
then the Office of Management and Budget will review those policies.

Think this is a very responsible measure.

Again, the past four years, we've seen the Biden administration
spend money like drunken sailors. It's a big reason we've
had an inflation crisis in this country, and it's incumbent
upon this administration to make sure again that every penny
is being accounted for.

Honestly, why oppose this pause with so little notice?

Speaker 19 (01:11:06):
Why not give organizations more time to plan for the
fact that they are about to lose, in some cases
really crucial federal funding.

It was the executive order that the President signed. There's
also a freeze on hiring, as you know, a regulatory freeze,
and there's also a.

And this is again incredibly important to ensure that this
administration is taking into consideration how hard the American people
are working and their tax dollars actually matter to this administration.
You know, just during this pause, a Doge and Omb
have actually found that there was thirty seven million dollars
that was about to go out the door to the

World Health Organization, which is an organization as you all know,
that President Trump, with the swipe of his pen in
that executive order, is no longer wants the United States
to be a part of so that wouldn't be in
line with the President's agenda. Do Janomb also found that
there was about to be fifty million taxpayer dollars that
went out the door to fund condoms in Gaza. That

is a preposterous waste of taxpayer money. So that's what
this pause is focused on. Being good stewards of tax dollars.
So this does jetifi.

Again, it does not affect individual assistance that's going to Americans.

challenge Congress or to prove that the president can withhold

financial assistance programs and supporting activities consistent with the President's

policies and requirements. The American people gave President Trump an
overwhelming mandate on November fifth, and he's just trying to
ensure that the tax money going out the door in
this very bankrupt city actually aligns with the will and
the priorities of the American people.

students who work here on visas, and on his first

towards the citizens.

Government institutions are found in principles. So should we take
this executive order as Trump's saying he would be open
to deporting those students who are here on visas but

then certainly he is open to deporting them. And that's
what this administration is hard at work at doing. We
receive data from DHS and from ICE every single day.
From what we hear on the ground, ICE agents are
feeling incredibly empowered right now because they actually have a

leader in this building who is supporting them and doing
their jobs that they were hired to do, which is
to detain, arrest, and deport illegal criminals who have invaded
our nation supporters over the past four years.

We've just following up on the question on immigration. First.
President Trump, during.

the following about illegal immigration. He said, they're going back
home where they belong, and we start the criminals.

There are many, many criminals.

NBC News has learned that ICE arrested eleven hundred and
seventy nine on documented immigrants on Sunday, but nearly half
of them five hundred and sixty six of the migrants
appear to have no prior criminal record besides entering the
country illegally. Is the President still focused exclusively which is
a civil crime, not a it's not criminal federal crime.

So I'm masking though he said he was going to
focus on those violent offenders first. So is violent offenders
no longer the predicate for these people to be deportd The.

President has said countless times on the campaign trail. I've
been with him at the rallies. I know you've been
there covering them. To Peter that he has focused on
launching the largest mass deportation operation in American history of
illegal criminals. And if you are an individual, a foreign
national who illegally enters the United States of America, you
are by definition a criminal and so therefore you are

subject to deportation.

violent criminals do not receive precedents in terms of the
deportations taking.

The President has also said two things can beat you
at the same time. You want to deport illegal criminals,

of course the illegal criminal drug dealers, the rapists, the murderers,
the individuals who have committed heinous acts on the interior
of our country and who have terrorized law abiding American citizens,

Absolutely those should be the priority of ICE. But that
doesn't mean that the other illegal criminals who entered our
nation's borders are off the table.

the confusion that still exists across the country right now

the key policy items was that he was going to

But I do want to address the cost cutting because

in this country. President Trump has taken historic action over

the past week to do that. He actually signed a
memorandum to deliver emergency price really for American families, which
took a number of actions.

the President is committed to implementing tariff's effectively, just like

have sectoral tariffs like on pharmaceuticals, as well as a
potential universal tearff on top of that, to be stacked

laws of this jurisdiction. That's the opinion of this administration.

Some of the other things that were said here.

Obviously, Caroline Levitt also breaking down some questions about the economy.
It's one of the last questions she just took there.
People were asking about egg prices in particular, and Caroline
Levitt saying that part of the problem was what she
called a mass casualty event, if you will, involving chickens,
that the Biden administration had killed hundreds of thousands of

(01:42:32):
chickens and that was part of the reason there was
a lack of eggs that were on the marketplace, and
that's part of the reason that the egg prices have
driven up. But that's obviously one of the issues that
the Trump administration plans to focus on. It was a
promise during the campaign from President Trump that he would
in fact cut prices that you're paying at the grocery store.

Speaker 7 (01:42:53):
Eggs, of course one of those things.

Speaker 13 (01:42:55):
Caroline leve at the White House Press Secretary pointing out
that egg price is doing and the Biden administration had
gone up about sixty five percent or so, so that's
one of the issues that they'll be talking about. All
of this coming right after President Trump was in Durral, Florida,
with legislative members, with lawmakers from Capitol Hill.

They are still strategizing there.

In Deral over the next two days to decide how
to help President Trump move his agenda forward. And today
we just got the first indication of some of the
work that has been done and some of the work
that still will be done in the Trump administration. We
