Speaker 1 (00:01):
Hi, I'm slow and I know basketball.
Speaker 2 (00:08):
Today's guest is from one of the best basketball families
of all time. It's none other than the NASAs Atta Kumpo.
His journey from growing up in Greece to being drafted
by the Knicks to winning a championship with his younger
brother Yannis is a story you won't want to miss.
Speaker 3 (00:29):
Tell me how to pronounce your last name Thanasis.
Speaker 1 (00:33):
Okay, you're saying it too fast.
Speaker 3 (00:34):
Okay, introduction there, so Antetokumpo.
Speaker 1 (00:38):
Okay, ready, you're gonna rate me on Teta to Kumpo.
Speaker 2 (00:41):
Yeah, you just used to t twice Teta Kumpo.
Speaker 3 (00:45):
Yeah that's oh my god, look at that.
Speaker 2 (00:47):
Okay, So everyone now we heard it here first. How
to pronounce it? I'm never gonna get it wrong ever again.
Speaker 1 (00:52):
Love it?
Speaker 2 (00:53):
Okay, So the NASAs I'm seventeen years old, which I
know that was a really long time ago for you,
but I want you to set your mind back when
you were seven, okay, and I want to hear what
it was like growing up for you in Greece, especially
in your teenage years.
Speaker 3 (01:07):
Oh my, it was that's crazy. Well, I mean just
starting to play basketball and just like really having a big,
big like just dreams and I'm still kind of that
in that kind of realm, but I just got, you know,
just a little bit older and there's more responsibilities out thing.
But just yeah, just chasing all the time and just
(01:30):
like always worrying about my family and my brothers, and
same feeling I was a film now.
Speaker 2 (01:34):
Honestly, yeah, speaking of that sort of being like this
is such a surreal feeling. I watched the Disney movie
about your family, which I loved, and when I was
thinking about that movie and thinking about this interview, I
wanted to ask you, what if seventeen year old the
NASAs was sitting in this chair, what would he think
that you were now an NBA champion and have had
a movie made about your family.
Speaker 3 (01:55):
Wow, I don't think. I don't think I would believe
it with you, I don't think. And if I told
my seventeen year old self of like, a, all your
buzzs are going to be champions and you're all gonna
be playing basketball, and you're all gonna like really like
leave your dream through basketball, you know, and I don't
know if I could believe it, because, to be honest
(02:17):
with you, you just live in like segments.
Speaker 2 (02:20):
You know.
Speaker 3 (02:21):
You just that's how the human mind works. Do you
get to a certain age and then you start thinking
about the future more and more. But I think if
you had told me today and I had to travel
like in a time machine and back in time, I'm
be like, no, no, no, just just just let me focus.
I don't believe you. Just let me focus. That's that's
what I would say.
Speaker 1 (02:38):
I love that. That's really cool.
Speaker 2 (02:40):
So you started playing basketball much later than most NBA
players did. Can you tell us a little bit about
how you got into basketball in the first place, because
correct me if I'm wrong, But you started off with soccer, right, yeah.
Speaker 3 (02:50):
They play soccer? Uh, Me and my brothers was you know,
it was gonna I mean because my dad played soccer professionally,
so that's always our thing. But then one day we
just decided and started like it was like, okay, let's
try basketball. And then I met some people and just
decided to take this around. And I loved it. Actually,
(03:11):
basketball just felt like just more engaging, you know. I
just felt like soccer for us at the time was great,
but like it was you just really had to have
love for a certain position in soccer instead of basketball.
You could, you could you get to be everywhere at
all all times. So like office defense.
Speaker 2 (03:32):
And how familiar were you even with the NBA being
in Greece.
Speaker 3 (03:37):
I mean as much as we could, as much as
it could. I mean we don't really have at the time,
we didn't really have cable or I don't know how
you guys call it, like, but we did have a
certain like you know, we have a big, big tradition
with basketball Greece, you know, so we did love basketball
and we did have like this and I think like
after two thousand and I want to say four five
(04:02):
kind of changed that. I was then, Yeah, yeah, we
kind of change the tranjectory for us. I talked about
this my podcast with Brian Woodhorse talking about Team USA
against Greece and kind of like that change our whole
uh way.
Speaker 1 (04:16):
Yeah, your mindset.
Speaker 3 (04:17):
Yeah, it was like, oh my god, this is this
is amazing.
Speaker 2 (04:19):
So can you name a specific European player that sort
of inspired your journey into American basketball?
Speaker 3 (04:27):
So many, so many, I mean, you have Spa no
leis you guys probably a lot of guys know Spanless,
you know, guys like that, like nicois like all of those,
all those guys, So I need this baby shack recall exactly.
So all of these guys kind of like with them winning,
(04:48):
kind of inspired like adds and aeration to be like,
oh my god, this is this is doable. You know
you can you can you can be starting this uh
this big stage.
Speaker 1 (04:58):
Yeah.
Speaker 2 (04:59):
So I want to go back to soccer for a
little bit because I played soccer, your dad played soccer professionally,
and you guys started off your journey playing soccer. So
if you had to compare your soccer game to one
professional player, who would that be?
Speaker 3 (05:12):
Would that be MESSI? Nah? No, I was too tot
too big. I would say, more like a drug, bad drug.
I was mostly like how I gave like speed, I
just like uh direct, So it like was you know,
(05:34):
just being big and just powerful when I like I'll
take shots.
Speaker 2 (05:39):
Yeah yeah, but I mean I don't know how you
could be stopped in the box, like if they crossed
it in.
Speaker 3 (05:43):
Like yeah, no, use your body really good.
Speaker 2 (05:45):
So I'll say him, yeah, that's that's a good one
for sure. What was your experience, Like, I know you
played pro in Greece. What's the biggest difference you noticed
playing basketball in Greece and then playing basketball in the
United States.
Speaker 3 (05:59):
I think just everybody being athletic, you know, like when
I play basketball in Greece.
Speaker 2 (06:04):
Uh.
Speaker 3 (06:05):
You know, now now everybody's like the world the whole
war is starting to catch up. Like if you notice,
like every I.
Speaker 1 (06:10):
Mean the Olympics was run for us.
Speaker 3 (06:13):
Yeah, but at the time, like there was, you know,
people weren't so athletic. And I always always wondering, like,
am I going going to be athletic if I come
to the NBA or if I come to the States
and play, I'm still going to be athletic. I'm going
to look like everybody else. But it was it was great, man.
I just came here and then I was like, okay,
I still be looked at the ninety percent of the
(06:36):
you know, athletic and run and jump and you know,
be able to defend and stuff like that.
Speaker 2 (06:40):
So yeah, yeah, And I've seen all these TikTok videos
that always amaze me where the fans in Europe are
crazy like and I feel like maybe that's not allowed
in the United States. I don't know what it is,
but do you prefer playing there because of the atmosphere?
Speaker 3 (06:52):
So there's I think there's pels and cons. I don't
know if if you know, it's if it's not allowed
per se. It just has to do with like etiquette,
you know, like guys are like die hard fans. I
think people die hard fans. You know, Milwaukee and Nicks
and the Celtics, you do have die hard fans, But
like in the Balkans, it's different. It's different. It's a
(07:12):
different board game. And and it's different when you walk
into that ina and it's twenty thousand people and they're
they're in the seats like two hours before the game,
and you know, and people would say, like you know,
it's it's borderline or not. It's gives you chills, it's scary,
gives you chills and at the same time makes you play.
(07:35):
Like if you have a fan base that has this
kind of energy, and I play for fan base like that,
you feel like like Superman. Like when you play, you
you do things that you sometimes you don't even believe
you could do.
Speaker 2 (07:48):
Actually use What NBA team's fan base do you think
is most similar to a European fan base?
Speaker 3 (07:56):
Sadly none, not really, Yeah, yeah, I mean, I mean
the close, the closest to it. You see it in
the playoffs. That's the closest you can see in the
regular in the playoffs, but not even in the regular season.
Now with the with the Cup, how do you.
Speaker 2 (08:09):
Think the n season tournament has sort of changed maybe
the fan experience.
Speaker 3 (08:13):
A lot, a lot a lot, and it's just and
it's really new second year. But I think like from
next year you will see more and more like teams
and people like really be uh uh lock things, you know,
did into the games and want to win because you know,
for you to win the Cup, it's like that way
seven in a row. So so that I think that
what people see is gonna like really really get them
(08:35):
to the seats and even more like riled up as whatever.
But a fund base, I mean, the closest you could
see a fun base, I don't want to say doing
that it is the playoffs, but I mean it's just weird.
You can't really because you're playing so many games.
Speaker 1 (08:56):
Yeah, it's hard to have that every time.
Speaker 3 (08:58):
Yeah, it's hard to have that every time. And you
can think about that. It's in Europe, it's like two
games a week, so you couldn't you could have that
a little bit easier.
Speaker 1 (09:07):
I've noticed.
Speaker 2 (09:07):
Obviously I have a different experience than you because I'm
not on the court, but I've been to Warriors, Clippers, Lakers,
Jazz games. It's so I'm definitely trying to see more.
Meaning they played other teams but at their home arenas.
The Jazz fits are crazy and like I didn't expect
that being you know, Utah, but I feel like they're
They're crazier than I thought. So that was definitely cool
(09:28):
to see.
Speaker 3 (09:28):
Yeah, I think Utah has a good tradition with the
like with like basketball, I think a lot of teams
go out there and they kind of I think I
remember we had a losion streak for a minute. Really
yeah in Utah, like because of the crowd, the fund
base that the players, and the altitude.
Speaker 1 (09:43):
Dude, yeah that's big time.
Speaker 2 (09:44):
You drink When the NASA has walked in here, guys,
he was carrying a giant water.
Speaker 1 (09:48):
It was crazy. So I don't know why he has
trouble with.
Speaker 2 (09:50):
The altitude because he drinks insane amounts of water. Okay,
I'm really interested in this. So growing up in Europe,
you obviously you didn't go to college because you went
straight to the pros. If you had to choose American
college that you think you would have gone to, which
school do you think it would have been.
Speaker 3 (10:04):
I've gotta ask this before, and I always say, like
kind of three, three of them. So one would be
Louisville really reflections and steals and stuff like that. The
other one would be Baylor. I feel like, yeah, I'm
definitely yeah the top of it, like and then uh,
the other school would be Indiana. Who's like with vic
(10:29):
old people. I feel like I was watching Big Play.
I was like, Okay, that's school. It's great to be
like a part of that.
Speaker 1 (10:36):
Yeah, that's cool.
Speaker 2 (10:38):
I like your answers because I feel like usually when
you ask European players, they're like.
Speaker 1 (10:41):
Oh, dupe the best schools.
Speaker 2 (10:43):
I like that you have those you really thought about this,
I can tell I like that a lot because.
Speaker 3 (10:47):
You know, like, like the only reason I didn't go
to college is because my mom and like my parents
knew really we didn't really have money, so we had
to like go pro we had to like forget that, yeah,
to do that first.
Speaker 2 (10:59):
But like looking back, definitely, so you think if ni
L had been a thing when you were a kid.
Speaker 3 (11:06):
Here, who would have who would have been in it.
Of course, yeah, you would have. Of course, just think
about how many kids from overseas going now and oh
it's crazy. Yeah of course. And and then uh, I
kind of joke with some of my teammates because you know, like, uh,
like I like fraternities and stuff like that. No, but
(11:27):
fraternities in the sense of like brotherhood and stuff like that.
So I was definitely was like, oh, yeah, I'll go
to I don't know how much like HBCUs like if
they have like you know, like basketball like stuff like that,
just to you know, step and stuff like that. Could
see myself do that.
Speaker 2 (11:42):
So yeah, okay, So because we were talking about ni L,
what did you buy.
Speaker 1 (11:46):
With your first NBA check?
Speaker 3 (11:48):
Did I buy nothing?
Speaker 1 (11:49):
Really?
Speaker 3 (11:50):
You saved it? Yeah? I was only playing, Yeah, be
honest with you. So when I first played with the
next I didn't really get like that kind of more
like a deal. Yeah, it was. It was it was
the league and then I got a call up, so
he wasn't really like that much of money. But then
when I went to the Buck, when it came back
to the NBA, I was already you know, I was
already the professional athletes.
Speaker 1 (12:10):
It was in that same experience.
Speaker 3 (12:12):
Yeah, and you know, and it was it was a
blessing in disguise as well, because you know, all my
brother's place, I never had to like say like, oh,
I gotta get my brothers this, I gotta do this
like we've always you've all gotten to do it together
to get that at the same time. So that's been
a blessing for us to be able to build off
this and really like you.
Speaker 1 (12:28):
Know, mm hmm, that's super cool.
Speaker 2 (12:31):
So we talked a little bit about European basketball and
the difference between European basketball and the NBA. There's been
this concept, you know that people have been talking about
a lot online about this idea. Take the Champions League
in soccer, but put that in basketball and have NBA
teams playing teams like Real Madrid BC. What do you
think that would be Like? Would you be an advocate
for that?
Speaker 3 (12:50):
Oh? Yeah, I'll be an ad for that because I
think be like teams and players like especially if they
play like a couple of the Greek teams as well
that we're from, they would lose their minds. They'd be like,
there's no way you guys play basketball like this. There's
no way. Yeah, and yeah, I think people would love
(13:11):
it and they would create like a I think people
of I think the whole of the world would love it.
Now in the States, I don't know how much, you know,
how much somebody you know, really cares about playing a
European team in their in their stadium. But once they
you know, they lose, they.
Speaker 1 (13:27):
Definitely then they care.
Speaker 2 (13:28):
All right, So what was your NBA I made it
moment because you had a definitely a not traditional path
to the NBA, balancing you know, between being in Greek,
being in the d League and then finally making it
with a real like you know, an NBA team.
Speaker 3 (13:41):
Like the Bucks. No, I think, no, it wasn't. It
wasn't even just making with the But I think it
was when I got drafted, you know, because like like
just getting I don't think people realize this, like, you know,
just getting drafted. It's so crazy. It's like sixty people
in like the whole planet they get every year, right,
and just to be able to have you know, three
(14:05):
of them in your family, Like you know, I got
drafted and yan Has got drafted and the courses got drafted,
and like then I was like Okay, I'm I'm an
I'm a i'm an lead professional basketball player. It did.
It didn't matter if I was going to play in
the NBA, to be honest with you, because like the
NBA drafts based on potential players, right, and imagine like
now that aids because you know, now, like people can
(14:26):
be like, okay, yay, it's you know, when you're older,
people get to it's the business side of it, Right,
I'm gonna get this player because this player does this
for me, and get that player. But then when you're young,
nobody knows you. Nobody knew me, no one care, nobody
knew you know, yeah, is nobody knew code Like was like,
you know what, we believe they have potential to play
in the NBA someday, we're gonna draft them now and
(14:46):
let's see in the future, so that that'll let you
know that you just have that NBA type athleticism and potential.
So that was the that was the moment. Then obviously
after you want to you want to say, obviously winning
and championship and.
Speaker 2 (14:58):
Like, okay, it doesn't happened, but yeah, and I feel
like it's also especially cool that you got drafted to
the next because being a kid in Europe.
Speaker 1 (15:06):
That's one of the teams that you really know, you know.
Speaker 3 (15:08):
What's so crazy. I remember when I got drafted, people
like keep saying like, oh, you got drafted first before ya,
That is not true. Yan's got drafted twenty thirteen. I
got drafted. I got drafted twenty four ten. Yes, but
nobody remember he's got to getting drafted because I got
drafted the Knicks exactly, and it was a huge thing.
I remember back and was like, oh my god, he's
(15:29):
you know, just this is whole thing. But for me
it was just a proud moment because I really really
worked hard to, like, you know, do this. So I
think people have to sometimes just like you know, like
really embraced and really chased this moments and steps like that,
because a lot of times people get caught up in
(15:49):
different different things and they're like, yeah, what's going on
in the world, but they don't rechage the steps and
go like, oh, oh, okay, this is I've had an
amazing like journey and stuff like that.
Speaker 1 (15:59):
Yeah, for little moments that matter. I love that. What
is a fan interaction that you will never forget?
Speaker 3 (16:05):
Fan?
Speaker 1 (16:10):
It's probably hard to pick one.
Speaker 3 (16:11):
I do have I do have a find internection. So
this is this guy. His name is I mean, I
don't want to say his name, this guy. So, so
I'm in New York, guy drafted. I'm kind of like,
you know, looking for Greek food. And then I'm looking
for this specific Greek ice cream it's called and I
can't find it anywhere. So so I like, I don't
(16:34):
know did I tweet? Did I say something? I don't
know what I said? And I was like, guys, is
anywhere family history of crazy tweets? No, we're not. Yeah,
we don't. I mean, I mean, we don't really tweet like.
Speaker 2 (16:44):
That funny things like Oreos and Milk honestly said crazy.
Speaker 3 (16:48):
Yeah, but we So I'm thinking, I'm trying to find
this ice cream I can't find the day when New York.
I'm like, there's no way nowhere it's New York. Yeah,
And I couldn't find it. And then this fan contacted
me at the time fan now he's one of my
like cool friend, this is like, this is my friend.
(17:10):
And he contacts me and he and he goes like, Okay,
I'm like send me Sam. A nudge is something to ship.
I want to ship you something, send me a nudges
or I don't know et And I go like, okay,
So I sent him a pill box, send him like
like my address, and then he sends me a whole
like ice cream machine.
Speaker 1 (17:31):
Wow.
Speaker 3 (17:32):
Yes. And then he sends me all the ingredients to
make that, to make that ice cream. And at the
moment I was shocked. I was like, is this like
a is this a whole lot of ice cream machine?
And then and then the ingredients and Mastika and this
and that, and I'm like wow, I mean I'm gonna
I'll make it. But then well got me. I was like, wow,
(17:55):
that that that's my that that would be my family,
Like my family would do something like that.
Speaker 1 (18:00):
Yeah, people care that much.
Speaker 3 (18:01):
Yeah, my family would do something like that. And I
never forget about that. And I remember I was like, hey,
when I come to Canada Montreal, like when we play,
like I'm going to meet you, I'm going to see you,
and I'm meeting him there and then like and then
she was a saw him lat and I saw him
like a couple of months ago my brother's wedding. That's crazy, right,
So so like we'd like that's my sort of friends,
(18:22):
that's so cool.
Speaker 2 (18:22):
I love that story. What about winning a chip was
most special to you? And the reason why I asked
this question is because you know, as it's weird to
call us normal people, right, but people that aren't in
the NBA, you think winning a chip must be the
most surreal feeling. But I feel like a lot of
the players that I've talked to with one I have
had different reasons that have made it so special, and
I'm curious to hear what yours is.
Speaker 3 (18:44):
Oh my why reasons? I think I do have two reasons.
One one is the obviously, the obviously one, like who
does want to win a championship? Like, if you're a winner,
you want to win. It doesn't matter if you play,
don't play, you just want to win. Whatever you said,
whatever you walk to, I want to I want this
to win. So that's one. But the other reason is
very very personal, like like we really wanted to win.
(19:08):
I really wanted to win because my brother won the
year before with the Lakers and we had this and
I remember we were sitting on the table and I'm like,
oh my god, it he just want a chance? Yeah,
and you know, and the way he wanted, you know,
with the guys he wanted with like Lebron and and
the guys and and a d and all these guys
and with the Lakers and you know, and they were like,
(19:29):
oh my god, mind you that season. Our season we
were supposed to go the way as well, but the
COVID happened. So just sitting at the table and he's
like he's had like he said, have his hat on. No,
he just got it. He he just flew in. And
then you know other times COVID, so there's no like parade,
no nothing. But we did something for him. So we
(19:51):
had all our friends and we did like a whole
like convoy with our cars, our friends, and we met
him at the airport and you know, the next day,
old sitting and he was talking about the championship and
like how how crazy this is. And then he got
his ring and we did this whole video for his
rig ceremony. And while we're doing the video, I'm sitting
with you and I'm like, we're gonna win. We gotta win.
(20:13):
And I remember, you know, it wasn't the usual like
like dinner was always like oh yeah, like everybody gets
to dinner, we all. It wasn't just that it was
like so full of motivation, and I remember the day.
The next day was so shitous, like hey we got it,
like we're right there, like this figure of this song,
we're right there. And for us to win it the
(20:34):
next year, it was so surreal because now we're like,
oh my god, this is this is incredible. Can you
imagine telling somebody like, hey, uh, this is how close
to the chances are, like, hey, I'm gonna win a
hundred million dollars, I'm gonna win the next lottery and
you go like yeah, right, and then and then and
(20:55):
then somebody next to you wins it, which happens to
be your brother. He wins it. You're like, oh my god,
you just want the latter. No, I got to do
it too. But but but think about it. You say
this out loud, but like people don't really believe that. No,
they just say it just to say it. Yeah, but
play it out loud to make it happen, and then
after the fact come down and sit them like, oh
my god, we just did this. It's it's special special.
Speaker 1 (21:18):
It must be so special for you guys, But I
can't imagine how special that must be for your mom.
Speaker 3 (21:22):
Yeah, my mom my mom is like you know what
I'm saying, She's she's amazing and and she's so proud
of us, and she's so proud of us. You know,
the God does no matter what. But like she told
us like, don't wonder you guys gonna win as well.
I was like, I think she was like, oh, yeah,
you guys canna win. I mean, you guys are the
saying your your brothers, he can do it, you can
(21:43):
do it. Yeah. I was like, okay, let's go. And
he did it, so I can't. I can't complain. I
can't always put off faith in my mom.
Speaker 2 (21:52):
So yeah, I know your mom was visiting La right,
and I heard like maybe she was gonna come on
and be like talking to someone like.
Speaker 1 (21:58):
I've gotten to talk to the cools and players, but
talking to.
Speaker 2 (22:01):
Your mom, she's like superwoman. That would have been so cool.
Tell her she ever wants to come on a podcast.
Speaker 3 (22:07):
She's waiting. I was thinking about doing an episode of
my podcast with her. She was like, well, what am
I going to talk about it? I was like, you
have so many things to talk about the you know,
the because basketball is one thing. Yeah, like mentality and
raising awes and you know my dad and the dynamic
between you know, like like sports and and us and
(22:31):
and who we are and character and how much you
like you really put into the character and not them sports.
She never said like you got to go to the
gym and shoot now. She was just like, I need
you to be in your best, like the best person,
the best version of yourself, and then that will trick
her down to court.
Speaker 1 (22:47):
So yeah, well all right, So I'm curious.
Speaker 2 (22:52):
Obviously as fans, we watched the NBA all the time,
but as an NBA player, how often do you actually
watch games on TV?
Speaker 3 (22:59):
So if you if you're if you love basketball, you
watch like I watched, like I watched you the league.
I watch the NBA. I watched everything, any anything that
has to do with basketball, and especially if I have
any remotely somebody who I know that's playing, like I
will watch it like I have I have like former
teammates and people have watched their games. So I haven't
told them like I've watched the game yea Italy he NBA, Like,
(23:22):
I just watched the games, but I won't, like, you know,
I want to tell them, hey, I watching I watch
their game. But I do watch a lot of basketball.
Speaker 2 (23:28):
Yeah, and considering this is one of your first seasons
in a while watching more as a fan because of
your injury, I want you to give me your NBA
award predictions.
Speaker 3 (23:36):
All right, So we're gonna start with m v P.
Tell me it's gonna be. I think it's gonna be. Now,
I'm giving you the realistic. I'll give you the way
I'm talking my show like it has. It's gonna between
two guys, which is one is my brother and jokids
like those two you can pick ere the one in
the end of the season, so I'll provide I figured you.
(23:58):
But yeah, you know, you know.
Speaker 2 (24:01):
That's actually really nice because to be honest, if you
asked if like that, if I was honest and my
brother was you, he'd be like, no, I want I
want you to win like you would never.
Speaker 3 (24:09):
Be yeah, yeah, no, no, but yeah, goddess yeah, well
obviously the same thing. They don't those two guys, they
don't play for awards. No, they they're just that good
and it happened. Yeah, they just played to be better
every day. I'm just saying from a fan's perspective, like
watching them playing consistency is different.
Speaker 1 (24:25):
It is who is your most improved player this season?
Speaker 3 (24:29):
Most improved player? Oh yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, that's a
great question. Me.
Speaker 2 (24:41):
I'll get back to go, okay, okay, Rookie of the Year,
which is a crazy one because my rookie of the
Year just got hurt. I'm very upset about it. Jared
McCain was my rookie of the year. I mean that
was unpopular opinion. It's so sad to see that now
he can't really get the so like Stephen Castle is
probably he's like the number one prediction right now.
Speaker 1 (24:59):
Jillen Well, they're like up there.
Speaker 3 (25:02):
That's the lookod of the Year was going to be
this guy from the Lakers sum Connect. Yeah. Kind of
felt for him, like because I saw him playing, I
was like, oh my god, he's so mature in the
where he plays. He'll definitely fit in uh in you know,
you know, and in the championship team. Because a lot
of times people don't don't tell you this, but like
(25:23):
you got on it's a big, big difference between being
the guy between coming to a big roster to play.
That's why a lot of young guys won't play totally.
Speaker 1 (25:31):
Have we have fans, fans young.
Speaker 3 (25:34):
Guys won't play, so but be able to be mature
and be like, Okay, this is what I do, this
is what I do, this is what this is the
way I can't help this team. So I got to
dominate this place. Jere mccainy was.
Speaker 2 (25:43):
Probably, yeah, okay, lastly, who do you think is going
to win the Chip this year? And I don't want
to see any bias, you know, you got to be
straight up.
Speaker 3 (25:51):
Any bias from like obviously, I always you know, like
Milwaukee has a specials it's it's you know what. Usually
it's a lot of seasons that you have like some
people in their clear cut for winning. But like, apart
from obviously, you know, the Celtics did it last year,
(26:12):
so they kind of have like this little advantage over
everybody a little bit. But other than this, like I
think it's up there. I think whoever it's healthy at
the end of the season, if whoever it is more
consistent this season.
Speaker 2 (26:24):
You know, I'm a Warriors fan and at the beginning
of this season, I ha'd so much hope. I was like, no,
what steps gonna get his fifth ring? Like one hundred percent,
we were first in the West. Whatever, Now all the
way down to eighth in the West. This season has
been crazy, crazy up and downs.
Speaker 3 (26:35):
It's like, you know, we we I think the team
was playing bad in the beginning season and now you know.
Speaker 2 (26:40):
Exactly, I mean coming off the Cup win exactly. Okay,
do you want to go back to most improved player?
Speaker 3 (26:45):
You just yeah, mostly player. Do you have any names?
Do you have anybody? I'll tell you.
Speaker 2 (26:49):
I mean, there's a life you could say Jalen Williams
I think is someone you could say, Scotty Pippen junior,
you could say. I My prediction at the beginning of
the season, unfortunately was it was a bat when it
was Brandon Pajemski from the Warriors, who is a great player.
Speaker 3 (27:03):
But I can see why he said that though, See
why he said that.
Speaker 1 (27:05):
I think that you know, you know.
Speaker 3 (27:08):
It's I do like Joe Williams. I think I do
feel like we talk about some persons. Okay, okay, see.
Speaker 2 (27:13):
Yes, okay, see, well you know there's two Jayalen Williams
on Okay, see, but we're talking about this.
Speaker 3 (27:17):
Yeah, twenty one points per game, right, that's exactly.
Speaker 1 (27:20):
Wow, look at that sad.
Speaker 3 (27:21):
Yeah, so I did see him play. I do feel
like we kind of. It's crazy. I told him something
last year, the years two years ago. He reminds me
of a player specifically, and he was laughing. He smiled.
He's like, yeah, I was like, hey, that that's the comparison.
I feel like you could. You could do that on
the defense he wants to, he remind him and Drew
(27:42):
Holiday clan knows alone. Yeah. Yeah, he reminded me of
Drew Hollid. This is everything everything. It wasn't just his game,
just like he's his body type, his way, he's nonchalant,
his face, everything reminded me of Jew Holliday. And I
told him. I was like, hey, listen, you got to
go look at the person that nobody's looking and the
person who's actually signing after signing big after big after
(28:03):
big contract without nobody really realizing. Like this guy has
like maybe the top ten cars in the NBA, you know,
and and always considd you know, so so like you
wanna really have good examples, and I, you know, I don't.
I don't know how he said, but I did tell.
Speaker 2 (28:22):
Him that, Yeah, it's interesting that you say that, you know,
always considered underrated, because I've been asking the question, you know,
I've probably been doing slow notes for about three years now,
since I was thirteen fourteen, And I've always asked the question,
who's the most underrated player in the league, And people
always say Drew Holiday, And it's like, how has he
been underrated for that long?
Speaker 3 (28:39):
Some point he's gonna stop. Obviously, some point he's gonna
stop goes.
Speaker 2 (28:42):
It's like gold medal NBA Championship. At what point are
people gonna stop saying he's underrated?
Speaker 3 (28:47):
So I'll tell you why it is that that is
going to say he's underdated because he doesn't come off
like this like Mega Super, Yes he does.
Speaker 1 (28:55):
He's not like a flex, but he.
Speaker 3 (28:56):
Does have no no. So this is the thing about
like Super and Mega started like, it's not like he's
a flex flex. I don't know, I mean, I don't
know if I'm using the word correctly, but those players
just don't like it's it's just players who are known
like across the globe, Like it's players who go on
a close girls and they're recognized, right, And I think, like, uh,
(29:20):
you know, he's not that tier. So because he's not
that tier, he's considered because what he does sometimes at
some point gives you those kind of moments though he
can give you.
Speaker 2 (29:30):
Another thing is I remember when Drew was called up
to the team USA for the Olympics and people were like,
really Drew Holiday over Jalen Bruns and all these people.
But if you don't know the game, you don't understand
how much of an impact he can make.
Speaker 1 (29:41):
Like he's the heart of so many teams.
Speaker 2 (29:43):
He's incredible on defense, he has incredible court vision, and
people fail to see that because they only see the
big windmill dungs in the deep threes, and they don't understand.
Speaker 1 (29:50):
That it's a team. It's a team sport for.
Speaker 2 (29:52):
A reason, and guys like that are as vital as
a Steph Curry who can hit the last three, you know.
Speaker 3 (29:57):
And that's why you see him. He always played and
he always have to invite the role the teams. And
and this is the thing about like I said, like before,
you know, guys coming out of college the same thing guys,
you know, being a start in your team and then
you go to another team that's a super team. Yeah,
and then and then and then that's how you gotta
then you gotta be some you guys just got to
(30:18):
be different for you to to be able to play,
you know how lebron Is and kde and and stuff
like that, and you know and Steph. It's just different.
That's why they they're gonna play. That's that's totally it is.
If you cannot be that different, like really simplated yourself
above others, it's hard for you to play.
Speaker 1 (30:35):
Yeah, totally.
Speaker 2 (30:36):
Okay, So now I want to move on to a
section where I want to get to know your brothers
a little bit more in depth. Right, So you have,
including yourself, there's five brothers, right, Francis, Cosas, Alex, Jannis,
and Fanasis. And four of the five brothers have played
professional basketball, three in the NBA, and Francis played soccer,
but he took another path. Okay, So I'm gonna ask
(30:57):
you some questions, and you're gonna tell me which brother
supplies to you?
Speaker 1 (31:00):
Ready, Okay, which brother is the funniest.
Speaker 3 (31:05):
On between coach? It depends, Okay, And I know it
sounds crazy, but it depends because we all we're all,
we're all, I want to say. It's a hard thing
to say, we're all funny. But I think if I
had to pick on between Alex Anders those two, yeah,
(31:26):
I think they're younger, and they just like, you know,
I think they're they they can't. They have everything in
the arsenal, you know, from humor to dak humor. They
like they have everything.
Speaker 2 (31:37):
Which of the best brothers is the sorry? Which of
the brothers is the best overall athlete?
Speaker 3 (31:43):
Over the athletes? Me? Okay, seriously believe that. But but
you know, something changed my mind. It was two three
years ago. Some change my mind. Then I then I
then I picked uh, it's crazy. Then I picked Yan
be honest, because I saw him run track. It was
run track at the same time. I was like eleven,
(32:04):
like ten, I think it was like eleven something for
like hundred meters. I was like he's seven feet and
I'm like okay. But then but then, you know, then
I turned my mind again because I see coastures and
Coastures has this like forty eight vertical, so it's like
overall but one of the most athletics the longest. I
(32:25):
always was like, no, I'm to combine everything strong, explosive
jumping and like fast twitch.
Speaker 1 (32:39):
Yeah, okay, which of the brothers is the best cook?
Speaker 3 (32:44):
The best cook? I mean I have it's not like
we go out there. Yeah, also say none of you,
like no, really, I mean I would say maybe coasters.
Maybe maybe he's I could see more of a group, like,
you know, maybe him.
Speaker 1 (33:03):
Okay. I feel like you guys maybe aren't like chefs.
Speaker 3 (33:06):
No, We're definitely not. You will just get the food
for you.
Speaker 1 (33:10):
Yeah, which of your brothers has the best style?
Speaker 3 (33:14):
What you know? Of course, of course, but if you
see us in the setting, you'd see while we're brothers,
like we all like kind of similar. Do you guys
call this a little bit swag, a little bit of
a yeah, yeah, yeah.
Speaker 1 (33:31):
Or okay, who takes the longest to reply to a text?
Speaker 3 (33:36):
Who takes the longest? I think the youngest, like the
young guys, I think Alex, Yeah, that makes sense. I
feel like I want to say cost Maybe maybe my
problem is.
Speaker 2 (33:45):
I see the text and I read it and then
I'm like, oh, reply later, and then it's like been
like a week and I'm like, oh my god, I
never responded to that.
Speaker 1 (33:52):
Yeah, he's like, which are the brothers? Is the best dancer?
Speaker 3 (33:58):
The best dancer? I mean, we don't break that breakdown,
so have any like competition or stuff like that. But
like I wouldn't say the young like listen, I wouldn't
say the young kid. I want to say like either cultures,
let's give you to them.
Speaker 2 (34:16):
Okay, okay, okay, this is very random, but when I
was in second grade or third grade, we had a
project to sort of learn how to take care of
like a pet, right where they gave us a water
balloon to a group of kids and they basically saw
which kids could keep it like intact the longest and
not pop it. I'm curious if you gave all of
your brothers that water balloon, who would protect it like
(34:37):
the most? Who wouldn't let it pop?
Speaker 3 (34:39):
So so I think it all depends because like we
are very very like we were boys and men, so
it's kind of like we're very lither like if you
give us a balloon, I don't care if it's a balloon,
if it's a what if it's a kid. No, if
it's a kid, that's that's then okay, out of that's
(35:00):
the that's the pack. That's why that nobody is doing
nothing to that kid. Yeah. But if it was to
like like a pet pet, I would say costas maybe
probably cost is more of a pet, like you know
pet guy.
Speaker 2 (35:15):
Yeah, Okay, which of your brothers is the biggest Mama's boy.
Speaker 3 (35:19):
Uh, it's between I think it's between Johannis and and
Alex so that baby.
Speaker 2 (35:29):
Yeah, I'm curious to see if I get one of
your other brothers on here, if they have different answers, they.
Speaker 3 (35:33):
Will probably do because they you know, they see life differently.
Speaker 1 (35:36):
Different perspective. Totally. Okay, Now we're going to move into
a little bit of a rapid fire section.
Speaker 3 (35:41):
I mean Mama's I mean I every day.
Speaker 1 (35:46):
Yeah, what is your favorite clothing brand?
Speaker 3 (35:49):
Favorite clothing brand obviously Nike and our brand like we
uh Nike like obviously and our band like I did
the Cool Bos. Yes, those like those are the two
brands I'll be rocking with. But to be honest with you,
so many new brands that are coming out and like
I'm more of because you know, I like fashion and
(36:10):
stuff like that. But at the same time, I like
to like kind of like promote people to underground. Yeah.
So in the past three years, I'm into fashion a lot.
Like I have a lot of people send myself and
I'll just just wear them and and really tell them
like my feedback of what I think. But the same
not just promoted too because it's nothing. Nothing totally. I
don't know.
Speaker 1 (36:29):
What is your favorite food?
Speaker 3 (36:33):
I mean Greek food and African food and that.
Speaker 1 (36:36):
Okay, what is your go to cheat meal after a
game you play? Well, what are you getting?
Speaker 3 (36:42):
I'm getting pasta broccoli, mushrooms, parmesan and lemon oil.
Speaker 1 (36:52):
Wow, that's so specific.
Speaker 2 (36:53):
Usually people are like McDonald you have such a specific
you like bougie food.
Speaker 3 (36:57):
I feel like, no, I don't. I don't like boogie,
but I just like fuel. Like I like, I'm about
to run and I'm about to I need to be good.
Speaker 2 (37:06):
If you could make the Olympics for one sport other
than basketball, what sport would it be?
Speaker 3 (37:11):
Track? Track? When I say track, it could be the
long job, high jump.
Speaker 1 (37:16):
Anything within the gotcha? What is your favorite movie?
Speaker 3 (37:21):
Wow?
Speaker 1 (37:23):
I know I'm really asking that.
Speaker 3 (37:24):
I you know, because I do have like franchisees that
I love from like The Matrix to Hottie Potter and
like I do like I have franchises now. I love Dunes,
the franchise d Like I'm obsessed now with that. But like,
if I could people one movie, I hope you get
(37:45):
a Godfather, whichever one.
Speaker 1 (37:47):
That's my dad's favorite movie.
Speaker 3 (37:48):
Too. Uh.
Speaker 1 (37:49):
What is your favorite video game?
Speaker 3 (37:52):
Video game? I used to play a lot, uh not
Lucia saw Ps. I just to play that game a
lot with my with my brothers. But then you know,
then the next game is start taking game.
Speaker 1 (38:08):
Do you still play like video games a lot? You
know you're an adult.
Speaker 3 (38:12):
I mean I don't. I don't. I don't think they'll
still go on hand and hand because you have people
making like millions, okay, true playing, but I think i'ld
say I after COVID, I've tried to. They really not know,
they're really not play it because people just this is
what people do, just sit down and stay in front
of a camera and play all day. So I want
(38:34):
to do the total. I want to, you know, with
the limited time that I have, I want to like stuff.
I want to you know, visually play video games.
Speaker 1 (38:42):
Yeah, totally. Do you have any hidden talents hitting talents?
Speaker 3 (38:49):
No? Really, I don't.
Speaker 1 (38:50):
I'm sure you do. Okay, well we'll revisit. What is
your dream vacation destination? That's a tongue twister.
Speaker 3 (38:58):
Yeah, so I do want to visit Brazil Japan? Which
is this place on the Japan mind you? I want
to go I just love their culture and like obviously
and I'm a big fan of Manu and stuff like that,
but I do love their their culture.
Speaker 1 (39:14):
If you were to describe your style in one word,
what would it be?
Speaker 3 (39:17):
Wow?
Speaker 1 (39:23):
One okay, English word and then a Greek word.
Speaker 3 (39:26):
I don't know. I don't have a word. I'm like
a chameleon. I could wear anything.
Speaker 2 (39:30):
Okay, now say it in Greek wool.
Speaker 1 (39:35):
Teach how to say that. Teach me how to say that.
Speaker 3 (39:38):
Haloo halo, So it's hamad. Just just use the word
hamad and then go with the word lion like layo
does hamma lao? Look at me.
Speaker 1 (39:52):
I'm basically fluent in Greek at this point. What is
your go to emoji?
Speaker 3 (40:00):
It is either fire or the emogi with the stars
for eyes, like my favorite.
Speaker 1 (40:06):
I always use that one. What is your favorite candy?
Speaker 3 (40:11):
Well, so many candy. Found House always gives me like
this kind of boxes with like all this rare candy.
Speaker 2 (40:16):
Okay, I want to Okay, I'm so curious because I
always used to see that on Gianni's Instagram stories where
he says those giant boxes of.
Speaker 1 (40:21):
Candy and like where did you get them from? I
wanted I candy.
Speaker 3 (40:24):
We'll set you some boxes for sure. Okay, I'll send
you to some boxes with the company. Just let me
know what you need candy.
Speaker 1 (40:31):
Literally before this episode, my friend and I went to CVS.
Speaker 2 (40:34):
We bought like ten bags of candy and we made
a candy salad all of it and basically just eate it.
Speaker 3 (40:38):
Like that's literally I just rare candy. But I think
I'm I can't pick specifically now about say, like my Jello's,
like Jelly's, I'd say, yeah, not shower pads, but like
that vibe.
Speaker 1 (40:54):
Okay, who is the most famous person in your contacts?
Speaker 3 (40:58):
Wow? It's crazy. Who's the most famous person? I don't
know how to how to ask it is because like, yeah,
I'm for no, I'm saying, okay, so okay, take the
family out out of it. Wow, I'm not gotta pick somebody,
(41:21):
not not Like, how do how do what's the finding famous?
Speaker 1 (41:25):
Oh?
Speaker 2 (41:25):
I see what you're Okay, we'll just list them the
famous people in your contacts. You don't just say like
the most names, because there's different types of fame, right, actors, singers, athletes.
It's hold on, okay, we're pulling out the phone, guys,
we're pulling out the phone.
Speaker 1 (41:45):
Maybe just most famous follower if that's easier.
Speaker 3 (41:49):
Hello, let me sick.
Speaker 1 (41:50):
The NASA is taking this seriously.
Speaker 2 (41:52):
I feel like his contact is just basically like the
A list and like people magazines, tap.
Speaker 3 (41:58):
People, and he just wants it's not top people, do we?
Is it basketball?
Speaker 1 (42:02):
Okay?
Speaker 3 (42:04):
What is it? I don't know.
Speaker 2 (42:05):
It could be anyone, just the most famous, like if
you have Lebron artists, Yeah, could be an artist.
Speaker 3 (42:13):
I'm not going to put basketball because you could be
eliminated basketball.
Speaker 1 (42:17):
Okay, we're eliminating basketball.
Speaker 3 (42:18):
Okay, eliminated basketball.
Speaker 1 (42:20):
So others like actors, singers.
Speaker 3 (42:22):
Singers, but not boy.
Speaker 1 (42:25):
Okay, there we go, There we go. You don't want
to call him, you obviously call him.
Speaker 3 (42:29):
I'm not gonna you. Guys.
Speaker 1 (42:31):
Aren't boys like that?
Speaker 3 (42:33):
We didn't, you know what, it's so crazy. I know
for sure, I think he would pick up Yes, well,
I mean yeah, he's got no no no, no no
no no, not not because that not because that's because
I'm a good kid in general, because of that. But
but uh yeah, for sure basketball. But we all know
each other, so we don't really I don't think to
call each other that No, I don't think that's famous
(42:53):
to you.
Speaker 1 (42:54):
Well maybe famous to us.
Speaker 3 (42:57):
True?
Speaker 1 (42:57):
Yeah, okay, who is your celebrit do you look alike?
Speaker 2 (43:02):
Uh?
Speaker 3 (43:03):
Well I got this celebrity somebody will okay clerios who
looks like you? Yes? Uh? Dk Metcalft. It's crazy, right,
you know how many times it's just crazy. I had
some memes that people say like we've never seen DK
and the same Like, guys.
Speaker 1 (43:20):
That's so funny. I really see that. That's a really
good one. Okay. Lastly, what's your favorite podcast?
Speaker 3 (43:24):

your name? Brown? Brown? Brown? Tech? Tech tech Brown? What's wait?
Speaker 1 (43:34):

Speaker 3 (43:36):
He you've used tech? He does the views for Technology
technolog Margarets Browne. I've heard that before to.
Speaker 1 (43:44):
K, I see that one. Okay. Lastly, what is your
favorite podcast?
Speaker 3 (43:48):

Speaker 1 (43:50):
No, it's your favorite podcast? Now, I'm sending you up.

Speaker 3 (43:56):

Is it a slow Nose show or the slow podcast?
It's just slow not slow Nose. That's that's my favorite.
Speaker 1 (44:04):
Podcast, exactly, exactly. Thank you for that.
Speaker 3 (44:22):
All right.
Speaker 2 (44:22):
So now we're like we said, slow nose, right, but
this is the nastist. No, I don't know, look at that.
I'm just really using that word big time. Okay, I'm
going to ask you Trivia A the Nasis about yourself.
Let's see if you can do this, all right, how
many Greek players have there ever been in NBA history?
Speaker 3 (44:42):
Okay, let me see, I'll just count of right now.
Speaker 1 (44:44):
Okay, we need to put the like the really fast
filter on this one, you know, just like all.
Speaker 3 (44:50):
Your of course.
Speaker 1 (45:01):

some of the names I don't have.
Speaker 1 (45:17):

after this.
Speaker 3 (45:19):

eleven twelve of them for sure. Maybe the other I
know told eleven twelve of them. Like, okay, I'll just
give you the names. So Lakla fish is yeah, four
chies uh spa ye span nowles, and then it's J
(45:48):
Scott Slex Okay, so that's what fas. We'll look it up.
Speaker 1 (45:53):
We'll get you the whole list, all right. So in
your D League debut with the eighty seven ers, which
is such a funny name. Eighty seven ers. All right,
how many points did you score?
Speaker 3 (46:02):
I can't remember? Probably, like I want to say, I'm
close to it's between eight and twelve close fourteen fourteen
captain Charge fourteen points and Canton? Was that?
Speaker 1 (46:14):
Yes?
Speaker 3 (46:16):
Charge? Yeah? Charge? Yeah? Thats gonna be my other question?
Speaker 1 (46:19):
Who did you play? Kit in Charge? Exactly?
Speaker 2 (46:22):
Okay, So you made your NBA debut in twenty sixteen?
What team did you play against? And who is the
leading scorer of that game?
Speaker 3 (46:30):
Shoot? Yeah?
Speaker 1 (46:31):
Really asking you the big Ones?
Speaker 3 (46:33):
Wow, it's okay. So you're on the Necks, Is I'm
on the Knicks? Is it a two teams? And you
tak is it the Warriors or the Phoenix Sons?
Speaker 1 (46:47):
It is one of those two teams are not going
to do?
Speaker 3 (46:49):
Is it the Wars of the Phoenix Sons? And one
of the games was this Steph one of the games?
Speaker 1 (46:58):
Well, it's not the Warriors?
Speaker 3 (46:59):
So was okay? So the Phoenix Songs? Oh my god, okay,
it was the Phoenix Sons? And was he Mello?
Speaker 1 (47:09):
Who's okay? Carmelo had nineteen, but Devin Booker had twenty one?
Speaker 3 (47:14):
Yes, uh, okay, that was.
Speaker 2 (47:17):
So gotten any points, but I'm gonna be nice, so
I'll give you like a few fake points because you've
been close, you.
Speaker 1 (47:22):
Know, and I feel bad.
Speaker 2 (47:24):
Okay, So, uh when you played for BC and Dora,
you played a huge role on the team and you
got them out of their playoff drought of how many years?
Speaker 3 (47:33):
Wow? Yeah, I didn't remember that because I remember when
I first went through Spain and I went there to
play for them. They were like, hey, we haven't been
the playoffs. Who wanted to make the Kings Leagues?
Speaker 1 (47:43):
How long?
Speaker 3 (47:44):
Though? Wow? I don't know. I won't say like five years,
ten years, No, twenty two years, twenty two years? Oh
my god, there you go. Yeah, look at you. Fantastic
that's all fanastic years. First of all, I want to
shout out to hello you guys, amazing fan By the way,
(48:04):
that it was great. I love Spain. Okay, so I
actually won an award in Spain.
Speaker 2 (48:08):
Yes, I saw right, most isn't it called the most
spectacular player?
Speaker 3 (48:12):
The most That's crazy? And I was always shoved when
I wanted because I remember they told me to go
to travel to Madrid. I was like, why am I
going to this place? Is the spectator. No, no, yeah,
but I think it was just like I think they
wanted to said that represented it from every team, and
then when I was there, they were like, hey, we
actually wanted to surprise because actually one but they didn't
want to tell me what I want. So I was like,
(48:32):
you don't know what it was good? I was good.
Speaker 2 (48:35):
The most spectacular player is such a better name the
most valuable player, Like that's like, I give you so
much ur I love that. Okay, Next for your question.
During the twenty twenty three Basketball World Cup, how many
rebounds did you average.
Speaker 3 (48:49):
World Cup? Oh? My god, how would I I mean,
it was four. It was four games. I don't know
if three remoubers three, it was five. It was literally
four or five games. We literally, yeah, three rebounds.
Speaker 2 (49:04):
I like to ask the most random questions, like I'm
not going to ask how many points because you could
know that. Okay, So, including you and Yiannis who played
on the same team, which is really cool, how many
pairs of brothers in NBA history have ever played on
the same team on the same team, Yes, obviously there's
been so many brothers in the league, but on the
(49:25):
same team is a much smaller number.
Speaker 3 (49:27):
I know, I know for for a fact, okay, but
I don't think the number is four. It has to
be more, right. It's the NBA, so it has to
be more.
Speaker 2 (49:35):
Okay, yes, yeah, and you know that when Brooke and
Robin Lopez when they were playing together, they were you
and you were also on the team.
Speaker 1 (49:45):
It's crazy two of those.
Speaker 3 (49:46):
Peers brothers as well, and going into Ragets brothers as well. Exactly.
Speaker 2 (49:51):
So I knew a great segue last final questions and
asked how many pairs of brothers are there currently in
the NBA?
Speaker 1 (50:00):
And can you name them?
Speaker 3 (50:01):
Apparently A Holidays Yes, h mc daniels, Yes, yes, so
that's true. Do you give me hint? How many more
are they? Oh? You just want me? Just give me? Okay,
well i'll tell you. I'll tell you which one.
Speaker 1 (50:17):
I'm gonna do some crazy math and okay, so there's.
Speaker 3 (50:23):
Just give me the number. I'll tell you who you
want to guess the number?
Speaker 1 (50:28):
You have to get the number that like math?
Speaker 3 (50:30):
Wait now I want to think okay, no, no, no,
I'll give you the numbers. Soons, Holidays, waggener three. Yes.
Speaker 1 (50:44):
To speed the process up, I'm going to tell you
that it's a much bigger number than three.
Speaker 3 (50:47):
Okay, wow, I'm I'm wow, I'm missing right now.
Speaker 2 (51:00):
There's a few that are fairly obvious, but it's it's
confusing because you don't always think of them.
Speaker 3 (51:05):
This way means Morris is yes.
Speaker 1 (51:08):
But they're twins. That's obvious.
Speaker 3 (51:11):
Yeah, yeah, okay, yeah Morris obviously. But I just say
because I said it, I said it before. Yeah, somebody,
I'm so he's more way more. So it's more way
more than like eight yes, not wait, it's it's close
to so it's ten. No, what is it?
Speaker 1 (51:27):
How fourteen?
Speaker 3 (51:28):
Fourteen?
Speaker 1 (51:28):
Do you want me to read that or do you
want to keep you guess?
Speaker 3 (51:31):
So I'll guess the So I guess we said the
numbers fourteen, I'll guesst the cup. So we said McDaniel's yep,
we said wagoner hm, we said these do we say that? Morris?
I'm going on the list of every team and every
(51:52):
is it mobiley?
Speaker 1 (51:53):
Yes, Noble is exactly good.
Speaker 3 (51:55):
One.
Speaker 1 (51:55):
That was a big poll.
Speaker 3 (51:55):
Okay, that was there's a ship to the back from
the bag. So that's four. So we've got Tim Moore. Yes,
I feel like you just holidays.
Speaker 1 (52:06):
Yes, holiday? Sorry, sorry, holidays.
Speaker 3 (52:08):
Give me give me thirty seconds.
Speaker 1 (52:13):
You take this trivia very seriously.
Speaker 3 (52:14):
I appreciate it anything, I take it. That's not that's
how you winerisay? Uh? Yeah? Yeah? Why am I stuck
right now? Wes? So it's a West. There's brothers in both.
Now I'm saying, which wanted the more mostly West? West? Jones? Yes? Correct, good, good,
(52:44):
So I'm in a good headspace. I'm there.
Speaker 2 (52:47):
Someone we talked about earlier on the show. We talked
like a whole for like two minutes about him.
Speaker 1 (52:52):
He has a brother.
Speaker 3 (52:55):
In the beginning of that we're talking about him, remember we.
Speaker 1 (52:57):
Were talking about like the most improved player and how
Cody Williams brother.
Speaker 3 (53:04):
Do you know Cody was his brother?
Speaker 1 (53:06):
The nasays they look exactly alike. Okay, well they're brothers, Okay.
Speaker 3 (53:12):
I don't know they're not. I mean, yeah, okay, that's good.
That's gay. You got to get your family lead. That's
that's the big stuff, right, that's a big time right there. Yeah, okay,
just give me.
Speaker 2 (53:23):
The Lopez is the Curries, yes, okay, which you didn't
That's the one I was saying was really obvious.
Speaker 3 (53:30):
Yes, but I don't. Okay, you don't think what I
thought it was going to be the new But.
Speaker 1 (53:37):
Okay, the Morrises, the Holidays, the Martins, the Balls, the McDaniel's,
the mob.
Speaker 2 (53:43):
Yeah you said, wait, Caleb, and yeah they're ok yeah, okay, okay,
mc daniels, Mobley's, Wagner's, Murray's, Champagny's, Justin and Juliane, the
jones Is, the Thompson twins, and the Williams.
Speaker 3 (54:00):
You know, oh my god, this is genetics, right, three
of those are twins.
Speaker 1 (54:03):
Pretty exciting.
Speaker 3 (54:04):
Exactly, I know genetics.
Speaker 2 (54:05):
But still, your family is the only family to have
other than no the Holidays have holidays three, so you
have them out.
Speaker 1 (54:12):
Look at that. Good.
Speaker 3 (54:13):
Good for you.
Speaker 2 (54:14):
