Speaker 1 (00:05):
This is straight fire with Jason McIntyre.

Speaker 2 (00:11):
What is up? Straight firefam, It's me Jason McIntyre. Straight
Fire for Tuesday, October twenty ninth. And what was supposed
to be just a glorious night in sports. You had
the World Series, you had Giant Steelers, obviously not glorious
at all. You got a slew of NBA gamest Paolo

(00:32):
Bancaro dropped thirty seven and a half. It turned out
to be a pretty grueling, overrated night in sports. I
gotta say I was so amped for the World Series,
Yankees Dodgers been clamoring for it for months, and other
than the drama in Game one with the walk off
Grand Slam, there hasn't been much. And Game three was

(00:54):
an absolute dud. Yankee Stadium never got lubricated. The Dodgers
totally dominate from start to finish. Freddie Freeman goes yard
again in the first inning. Yankees fans probably you know,
late arriving crowd, probably not even in their seats, and
Freddie Freeman gulf's one in the right and it's two

(01:15):
nothing And the Yankees never recovered. They had no hits
forever in this game. It was Stanton got thrown out
at the plate, watching him run with a piano on
his back around third base. It's weird because the camera
angle was perfect for that play. And as the field
the Taoe gets the ball, you see Stanton running around
third base and you're like, oh, he's slow, there's no

(01:36):
way he's gonna make it. And the throw is right online.
Stanton gets nailed, and ultimately the Yankees just go out
with a whimper lose and uh, I don't know, folks down,
oh three, what are we gonna get like Red Sox
magic here. Gosh, it's just disgusting. It's a bummer because
this was supposed to be the World Series everybody was
excited for. It's tough to get people tuned into a

(01:57):
three to nothing series. This was the game. It was
supposed to be a drama, fun, exciting, and now it
feels anti climactic. In tonight, the Dodgers have yet to
announce as I'm recording this, who's pitching. The Yanks are
sending Lewis Gill to the mound, and I don't know, man,
it's just a depressing vibe. Listen, if you're a Dodgers fan,

(02:18):
obviously you're stoked it's a great win three. But you know,
as a fan of the sport, you're always rooting for
the series to go longer, you know, even if you know,
if the Jets, while the Jet football doesn't really apply
to this, but you know, let's go Lakers. Lakers are
in the finals against Celtics, Nicks whatever. You don't want
this to be a Lakers take a three to nothing lead.

(02:40):
That's not fun. There's no drama. It's disappointing. So I'm,
you know, kind of bummed out about this. Obviously, Dodgers
in the driver's seat, my Yankees not listen. I root
for the Dodgers, obviously, but I don't even think the game,
the series is coming back to Dodger Stadium. It feels over.
Yankees feel dead. At least they made the World Series,
and you know, baseball got a pretty damn good postseason.

(03:03):
I will say the Sodo situation is probably going to
be the number one offseason topic in baseball. Somebody's gonna
pay this guy big, big bucks. And you know, there
was a report the Dodgers might do it. A lot
of people tried to pour cold water on that. Obviously,
the Yankees don't want to lose him. He's a legend
for that home run in the Guardian Series. Folks, the

(03:24):
World Series is over and we're basically ready to close
the book on the baseball season with the Dodgers up
three nothing.

Speaker 2 (03:42):
But fortunately we had a thriller in the NFL right
Steelers Giants and one of the early games identified and
my buddy Nico was texting me like, I can't believe
you were on the Giants, and like, listen, I sometimes
you grab numbers. This is the largest spread for the
Steelers in the post Big Ben era. Russell Wilson favored

(04:03):
by six. It was six, it was six and a half.
It came down to six, sat at six, and I
gotta be honest, I didn't know Russell Wilson had this
in him. Russell Wilson was good. Now we could talk
about the Giants and we will. Don't worry, we will.
But like Russell Wilson was dropping dimes. I know he
had the late fumble that gave the Giants some Oxygen

(04:24):
obviously ended with a Daniel Jones getting stripsacked by TJ. Watt.
Oh who could have seen that coming. But Russell Wilson
was dealing. I mean, he's he dropped the pass to Pickens.
I was like, damn, he hit Austin on a perfect pass.
Like it's weird. Russell Wilson the deep off, it's it's
almost back for him, and you're like, wow. Remember a

(04:44):
couple of weeks ago, it was like, oh, I can't
believe they're they're they're dumping fields for Russ. That's insane.
Fields is cooking. And then Russ had that first first
quarter that was ugly on Sunday Night football. I think
it was Sunday Night football last week. Oh yeah, against
the Jets whatever it was last week two weeks ago.
Russ did not look particularly sharp. The Bluebirds were out,

(05:06):
and then of course, you know Russ settled down. The
deep defense carried them and russo Will looked fine, and
you know Tomlin did his victory lap.

Speaker 1 (05:14):
Well.

Speaker 2 (05:14):
The Giants had have a really good pass rush. They
got they got a front that was getting after Russ.
The pocket was collapsing. They did sack him four times.
But when given time twenty of twenty eight, two hundred
and seventy eight yards nine point nine yards per attempt.
I mean, Russell Wilson was good. The fumble Martch I
get that, but let's be real. I mean he's thrown

(05:35):
to Van Jefferson. Can I say the corpse of Van Jefferson.
I mean that's a guy who you know, had a
lot of promise coming out of college and he's just
bounced around. Austin had a magnificent game with the putt
return and then the long touchdown catch. He used his
tight ends like. It was an all around good performance.
He clearly loves pickings. They have some kind of connection,
and I was. I was really impressed the Steelers, and

(05:58):
I got to take an Allen this one. I was
so wrong on this team this year. I thought this
was a five or six win team. I'm sure once
you know the Herd is on later this morning and
we talked Steelers, all these Pittsburgh fans are gonna pull
up the video of me saying, yeah, it's a five
or six win team. It's a total disaster, folks. They're

(06:19):
six and two. That to me is crazy. I didn't
think they beat the Jets. They did lose to the Cowboys,
they lost to the Colts, but they beat the Chargers,
the Broncos, the Falcons. Like if I said to you,
who's their best win, well, the Falcons probably would be
and that was in Week one. And then there's the Broncos,

(06:40):
who have a good record, but if you look at
who they've beat, they haven't beat anybody. The Chargers look okay,
but again they're a very limited team. What's the best
team the Steelers have played? And the answer is it
the Jets. They're not good, but they Jets have a
lot of talent. It's certainly not the Cowboys, who they
lost to. However, the schedule that's tougher. Right This week,

(07:02):
huge game, I'm talking a big one against the Washington Commanders.
Pittsburgh visits Washington, Jaden Daniels and company. And then after that,
it's like, oh, well, by the way, Washington will be
the best team the Steelers have faced two date. I
don't think anybody would argue with me on that. Again,
the Falcons in Game one of the season with immobile
Kirk Cousins were not tremendous. The Broncos in Week two

(07:24):
with Bo Nicks were not tremendous, even though the record
says they're good to point differential and all that. The
Giants and the Jets stink, the Raiders are awful, and
now you face a Commanders team. This will be their
toughest test. And after that, oh, hello Lamar Jackson. Hello
on a short week, the rejuvenated Cleveland Browns. Hello Joe Burrow.
Then you get the Browns again, Eagles, Ravens, Chiefs, Bengals.

(07:47):
Nobody has a tougher schedule in the second half of
the season. It's legitimately in play that the Steelers lose
their final eight games. That's on the table because they're
going to be underdogs. I would guess outside of the
Browns game in Pittsburgh, I think they're gonna be underdogs
in almost every game, even at home against the Ravens.

(08:07):
There's no way they're gonna be favored, no shot of that.
Ravens are one of the best teams in the league.
Bengals are not great. Maybe they're favorite against the Bengals
in Week eighteen at home, but I feel like a
broken record. Guys. Again, the analytics will back me up here.
The numbers say so. Outside of record I'm just talking
about like some of the advanced stats. You look at EPA,

(08:28):
you look at like red zone percentage, you look at
a lot of stuff, and like the Pittsburgh Seelers just
aren't very good. Their record is good, but as a team,
you just all you can do is play who you're
who's in front of you, and they're whooping everybody. I
kind of stand by it. Like Kansas City Chiefs, I
gotta whisper this. The Chiefs are not very good. They're

(08:48):
extremely limited. Now. They keep moving on and plowing everybody.
And they just traded for Josh Ucha from the Patriots,
another pass rusher. It is funny, right, the Chiefs are
going all in for the three. I mean, I'm talking
all in there. They've already made two trades. Okay, how
come the Lions haven't done anything? You know, why aren't
they adding anywhere? A pass rusher, wide receiver, Go get somebody. Now.

(09:12):
The trade deadline's gonna heat up, and we'll get to that.
But quickly, let me first pick apart the sad sack
New York Giants. Holy cow, these guys suck. You know,
here's what's frustrating when you back a team and it's
a bad team. We know that, right third down Pittsburgh
six of thirteen, and I don't have the numbers in
front of me yet, but I'm almost certain they converted

(09:34):
at least four third and eights. You know, third and long,
you got to get off the field and guys are
wide open. The Giants just don't have any players. How
about this dad in the red zone Pittsburgh, oh for four?
No touchdowns, Giants, oh for three. Giants couldn't get out
of their own way with penalties eleven for sixty five yards.
They had the fumble, they had the interception, they give

(09:55):
up a special team's touchdown. Like it was just an
all around cluster for the Giants. You are really a
two and six just disaster. They're going nowhere fast. I
don't think they're going to become sellers at the deadline, because,
you know, let's be real, the owner gave Dable the
dreaded vote of confidence, and they gave it to Joe

(10:15):
Shane as well, the GM who let Saquon Barkley walk.
I just I can't find any positives if you're the
Giants from this game. And before you say the kid
Tyron Tracy, I mean folks. He had twenty for a
buck forty five, including a touchdown that made it interesting
in the fourth quarter. And then what happens, Oh geez,
look at me. His head drills the ground. He's concussed.

(10:37):
He needs help to get like when he's on the
sideline getting to the medical tent or the locker room,
whichever one it was. He was removed from the game.
I would not be shocked if they missed him this week,
and you got to go back to Devin Singletary. They
found something in Tracy. That kid's got some pop. He
would be the only positive. Malik Neighbors had a brutal drop.
He did catch seven of his thirteen targets. Darius Layton

(11:00):
four for one oh eight, including nearly getting his ribs
broken on a hospital ball from Daniel Jones. Like, Daniel
Jones is just not accurate, And I'll wrap up the
giants because nobody gives a shit about these bums. Sorry
for being so Harshome just upset Daniel Jones. They used
to call him Vanilla Vic. You guys remember that because

(11:22):
he was fast. He could outrun folks. He's faster than linebackers.
He could get out of problems. I saw a quarterback
who was clearly under instructions. Hey, Danny Dimes, we want
you winning from the pocket, do not tuck and run,
I mean, And he essentially stayed in the pocket all night,

(11:43):
the entire time, just sat around chucking the ball around,
and he was just sitting duck. He was sacked four times, obviously,
including his stripsacked by Watt right in or near the
red zone at the end of the d the fourth quarter.
That was kind of embarrassing. But why is it? And
he's saying, you know what, I'm just gonna scramble to
get out of harm's way. Why wouldn't you do that?

(12:04):
And it reminded me of when I bet on Kyler
Murray and the Cardinals against Washington, and Kyler Murray, for
whatever reason, wasn't running. He's just only trying to win
from the pocket. And I'm sure you, yes, you want
your quarterback winning from the pocket, but when you're trying
to win a football game. And let's be real, the

(12:24):
Giants don't give a crap about Daniel Jones, right, He's
not their future. Why wouldn't you run him into the ground.
Why wouldn't you say, dude, win this game, do whatever
it takes. If you got to scramble, go for it.
He was like afraid to run out of the pocket.
And it just it was mystifying and frustrating. And you
know that, I guess the New York Giants experience, which

(12:47):
fortunately that was I think that was the first time
I bet on them this season. I'd have to look
at your schedule and in the contest, I'm just I
guess I'm extra ornery today because you know, I had
the Giants in the contest, I had a brutal loss
with the Dolphins in the contest, ended up one and four,
and it's just disappointing, you know that, remember that five
and oh, I was all geeked. I was like top
three hundred in the contest out of the fifty four

(13:08):
hundred people. I didn't even check the standings this week
because I as things unraveled for me, and it's just
that damn contest is so brutal.

Speaker 2 (13:28):
But anyways, let's quickly get to some NFL action. Oh
oh yeah, we'll wrap up with some NBA stuff because sadly,
some uh some stuff happened in the NBA. It's not
good last night. But real quick, I just wanted to
touch on a report. So Deontay Johnson of Carolina missed
the game. He was like a late week scratch and

(13:49):
it was like one of those hmm no, Deontay Johnson,
huh interesting? And then we hear a report from Adam
Schefter that Deontay Johnson is expected to betray by the
end of the week, and it has shades of DeVante Adams.
If you guys remember with the Raiders where he popped
up with a mysterious hamstring. Then he's on the trade block,

(14:09):
then he shipped out of town, and then as soon
as he get as soon as he gets there, he's
playing with the Jets. And I don't know Deontay Johnson.
Is he good? Yes? Is he a bit of a
headache he was in Pittsburgh. I don't know how much
of a headache he's been in Carolina, but he certainly
can add some pop to an offense. Now do you
want to bring I don't want to call the guy knucklehead.
Because I don't know him. Do you want to bring

(14:31):
that in your locker room? Buffalo already up the Anti
They went and got Amari Cooper. My guess would be
if Diggs is done for the season and the Texans
absolutely love their team, which they do. They're six and two.
I don't know did the Texans call up about Deontay Johnson.
You're gonna need a possession receiver right. Still no verdict

(14:53):
on Digs at least not that I've seen. But Nico
Collins is hamstring the soft tissue injury. Not great. Again.
The Texans are six and two, but they have a
plus nine point differential. Like guys, they got work to do.
They need talent, and I think the other team that
could be interesting is the LA Chargers at four and three.
Lad mcconkey's your number one option. He had a phenomenal

(15:14):
game over the weekend. But wouldn't you bolster the roster
with Deontay Johnson? Is he gonna fall in line for
Jim Harbaugh? And then you go to the NFC And
I think the one team that jumps out of me
for Deontay Johnson services the Detroit Lions. That makes all
the sense in the world. Yes, Amara Saint Brown is great. Yes,
Jamison Williams is suspended for I believe two games, so

(15:34):
he's out one more. They'll miss him against the Packers.
But I'm looking. It's funny. We have my wife's family
used to host Thanksgiving back in Pennsylvania, and I'm not
gonna fake the funk.

Speaker 1 (15:48):
Guys.

Speaker 2 (15:48):
There's a lot of people in sports media who will
just act like a character to get clicks or downloads
or whatever, and then you meet them in real life
and you're like, WHOA, this guy is not anything at
all like that online persona. He says inflammatory stuff everywhere,
but then you meet him and he's like normal. I

(16:08):
Am not one of those guys. I can assure you
anybody you know that knows me, I'm pretty much exactly
like how I am on this podcast, how I am
on the Hurt, That's how I am in real life.
So anyways, back in Pennsylvania, pre moving out here for television,
we had, you know, we would have family dinners for
Thanksgiving with the wife's side and all that stuff, and

(16:31):
we would talk to the folks and there were a
couple of people like my age, ish or whatever, and
you would get to know them whatever. I got a
nickname from them because I would, you know, keep it real.
And they started to call me worst case scenario Jason
because I was always like, oh, are you sure you

(16:53):
want to do that? What about what if? You know?
And they were like stunned that someone would have this
kind of attitude, and I was just like being honest,
you know, and I'm looking at the Detroit Lions, and
I'm being honest. If amaras Saint Brown goes down with
an injury, you could kiss the Super Bowl goodbye. I know,

(17:13):
Ben Johnson is awesome and he's cooking up amazing stuff,
but there is no depth of wide receiver in Detroit. Yes,
the kid who ran all the punts back, damn it
is it Raymond. Yes, Jamison Williams is fast, but you
need dudes. Laporta is starting to emerge after a slow
start to the season. But I'm thinking worst case scenario
Amarasaint Brown goes down, What you got? What do you have?

(17:36):
I mean, maybe you don't want to go get Deontay Johnson,
but I don't know. Do you call the Tennessee Titans
and be like, hey, you know, is there any world
where you guys are willing to move off Calvin Ridley.
I would doubt it, but you got to ask.

Speaker 1 (17:53):
Now.

Speaker 2 (17:53):
The Jaguars had a guy in Christian Kirk who could
have had value, but it looks like he's out for
the season now after stuff bring an injury against the Packers.
You know, I don't think the Browns are gonna unload
anyone else. The Jets are mildly interesting, but what are
you gonna They're gonna give up Allen the z Art.
I don't see that the Patriots are selling everybody they

(18:14):
can anything that's not bolted down. I don't think the
Dolphins are punting on the season. They have a huge
win against Buffalo this week, but like, there's not a
ton of studs out there wide receiver now the one
guy I think could have a lot of value, and
we'll see what happens what the Titans say, But Lugerious sneed.
They went out and made a splash sign in getting him.

(18:35):
He has not been great. The Titans are a total
train wreck. At minus seventy six, they have the worst
point differential in the NF. In the AFC, the Panthers
are by far, oh my gosh, minus one forty seven.
The Titans are aggressively bad, and you know, I had somebody,
one of the producers at Fox was like, hey, is

(18:58):
will Love is really hurt? I was like, I don't know, No,
I give zero thoughts about the Titans. And they're like,
because it was like he got hurt in practice and
now he's missed two weeks. Like that seems a little strange.
I was like, yeah, it's probably not a shocker, but
I would look at it from do you call the
Titans and say, hey, Lugerius Steve, who's on a Super
Bowl team with kc if I'm like the Washington Red Commanders,

(19:20):
who have an abysmal secondary just can't stop anybody. Well,
they could stop Kaleb Williams, but you know, dan Quinn's
is a smart guy, can cook up some stuff. Wouldn't
you make a play for him? Again, I'm what, Jason,
these trades never happened. Well, here's why I'm entertaining the
idea of making moves. I think it's kind of sort
of wide open this year. Yes, the Kansas City Chiefs

(19:43):
have the best record. Yes, they have the best quarterback
for his career, and they have an amazing coach and
Andy Reid. They're gonna be tough to beat. But I
look at them and they don't scare me. No, I
don't think any defensive coordinators staying up at night worried
about the skill position guys on the Chiefs. Now, Kelsey
has looked better in recent weeks. I'm sure he's gonna

(20:03):
looked great come postseason with Taylor Swift at all the games,
and obviously you've got to you know, Patrick Mahomes is Listen,
he's not the MVP this year. He's not having his
greatest season. There's a big article in the Athletic Chiefs
are seven or zero but not quite perfect, you know,
and it breaks down just how bad the Chiefs have been,
and it's like this is Mahomes is the kind of

(20:26):
worst season by a mile, and they don't scare anybody.
But again, it's Patrick Mahomes, and playoff Mahomes will be
different than regular season Mahomes and going for the three
peat is real. So I don't know. If I'm out
there in the AFC, I'm making moves. Buffalo's got a
really strong secondary. They probably don't do anything. The Ravens
secondary a little less so, although they showed they showed okay,

(20:49):
down two guys against the Browns. Now, if you put
those two starters back in, Jameis Winston going crazy. And
I just want to remind people who said, oh, Winston
was great. He had a good game. He also through
a pass right to Kyle Hamilton that should have been
intercepted with about a minute left, and Hamilton dropped it.
On the next play, Winston hit a bomb to Tilman
for a touchdown. So miss me with the Jamis Winston.

(21:12):
Oh my god, he was good. I consider picking him
up in fantasy, but I'm gonna also be honest. He
tried to throw an interception that would device the game
for the Ravens. But if I'm Baltimore, yeah, I'm certainly
looking at a quarnerback and then I guess, you know,
you know it's gonna sound crazy. But if I'm the
Tennis the Houston Texans, I'm trying to level up. You've
got your quarterback on the rookie deal. This is the

(21:33):
time to make moves. But I do think Washington would
be the spiciest team to go after Lugarious Need. I
just don't know how aggressive they want to be. But again,
quarterback on the rookie deal, Like, why aren't you at
least getting in the mix for Like, I'm not going
crazy here, folks. I think Washington legitimately could get to

(21:55):
the NFC championship game, and if you can get there,
you certainly can win it. I'm looking at Pro football
for right now and how Washington's defensive backs grade out.
Holy held, I didn't even know San ruscill the kid
from Michigan is starting at cornerback. I thought he was
going to be like a nickel corner. Oh my gosh.
So he's having an okay year. The kid Noah Igbinoni,

(22:17):
who flamed out in Miami, he was the first round pick.
He's struggling in the slot, grading out his ninety second
out of one hundred and ten cornerbacks in the league.
And then Benjamin Saint Just, who they like, is also
grading out ninety first out of one hundred and ten cornerbacks.
So their cornerbacks, according to Pro Football Focus, are sixty
six the rookie, ninety one for Saint Just, and Noah

(22:39):
I'm not going to butcher his last name again, ninety second. Okay,
that's is that stopping Detroit in the postseason? I don't
think so now the offense could hang with anybody, because
Jayden Daniels is the man, and Brian Robinson and Eckler
are good and Terry scary, Terry's awesome, and the offensive
line has been lights out. A rare good call by
me on Washington after I foolishly did not buy into

(23:01):
them in the offseason under the guise of there's just
too much newness. New owner, new GM, new head coach,
new offensive coordinator, new defensive coordinator, new quarterback. Like, do
you know that's so much newness in the building. These
guys barely get to know each other, and boom, now
they're six and two. So I think the trade deadline

(23:21):
is going to be super duper interesting. It really comes
down to this too. Do my New York Jets consider, Hey,
why don't we be sellers? DJ Reid's going to be
a free agent. I mean, you got to start to
save money for Sauce Gardner, who having a rough year.

(23:43):
But nevertheless, DJ Read's been excellent. Can you get a
third and a fifth for him?

Speaker 1 (23:47):
Can you?

Speaker 2 (23:48):
Is somebody willing to is a contender willing to do that?
DJ Reid is a very good cornerback, and I just
I mean, I know that the Jets fans don't want
to hear this, but dude, you gotta start planning for
the future. I still believe that the best case scenario
is Aaron Rodgers walking away and retiring. By the way,
DJ Reid grading out as the fifth best cornerback according
to Pro Football Focus, and he is well, he turns

(24:10):
twenty eight here in November. I would just cut bait
and move off. You know, I would just say, you
know what, Dj Reid, thank you for your service. You
were amazing, but we ain't winning shit this year, and
we could use the draft picks because there's a world
I reminded Mark Sanchez of this on Monday. When Brett
Farve was with the Jets, they started out I think

(24:31):
nine to three, and then they cratered at the end.
It was total disaster. Then came the whole massage thing
or what have you, what have you, and they run
off Farv. The Jets. Then the next year trade up,
get a new head coach and Rex Ryan, and they
draft Mark Sanchez and they went to two straight AFC
championship games. That was the last time the Jets were

(24:52):
in the playoffs. It's been that long. And I have
an amazing rant that I'm saving about Aaron Frickin. I
might say I might fire tomorrow. I just need some
time away from this wretched team. They just annoy the
hell out of me. But bottom line is, I think
there's a world where DJ Reed, Lugarius Sneid. There's some

(25:13):
really good players out there. J C. Horn in Carolina like,
there's a bunch of guys who could end up getting traded.
I will close out the podcast today with just a really,
really brief goodness gracious, I feel so bad Taylor Hendrix
of the Utah Jazz. You guys probably have no idea
who he is. He's a young kid. I think he
went to UCF and a rookie year last year. This

(25:37):
is his second year in the league, and he's running
down the court. I don't know if he hit a
wet spot or what it was, but his leg like buckled,
and next thing you know, you see him sitting there
and his leg is like bent and dangling, fractured fibula
and dislocated ankle. It was not quite Gordon Hayward, but

(25:58):
it looked like that. And he's gonna be done for
this sea. I mean, I don't know how he could
come back from that, but it was really gruesome. You
saw players instantly turn away, really sad stuff for a
good young player. And I mean, listen, I just it
just stinks, man. It's stinks. These young players getting hurt

(26:18):
right out of the gate. It's just it's not great.
And I'm of the belief I like the NBA. I
know you guys aren't really watching it this early in
the season. I am not gambling on it yet. My
Nick suffered an l to the mighty suddenly mighty Cleveland
Cabs who are four to zero. But like, I'm interested
in the league. I just like you guys, don't I
like basketball at this point? Obviously if you don't know
I like basketball, you know, and I will. By the way, well,

(26:42):
I don't know if it depends. I don't guys in
my league, the Bake Well, I'm in two leagues, but
the guys in the Bake Club League that the really
tough one. When we have Richard Jefferson on our team,
some of those guys listening to the podcast, so I
can't give up too many secrets, but like we gave
a new guy a tryout. Air Quotes Tryout on Sunday,
and holy hell, he was so good. This guy's six ' seven.

(27:03):
He went to Oak Hill Academy briefly. He's like a freak,
and I mean he's so athletic, and in warm ups
on Sunday warm ups, he's he's dunking like effortlessly, and
I go, oh, dude, I forgot. You're not allowed to
dunk in this league. He goes really, He's like yeah.
So then I asked the refs and they're like, no,

(27:26):
you can't dunk. So in the game, one of our
guys throws him an unbelievable alley loop and I'm like,
oh shit, he's gonna dunk. He catches it and just
drops it in and I was like, oh, so will
they videotape all the games? So once it comes out,
I will put it on my IG and you'll see it.
I'm telling you, this guy is incredible. He's secured a

(27:46):
spot on the Foxes for next season because Richard Jefferson
has to go back to announce the games. He knows it.
And by the way, RJ put in a good word
to recruit this guy, and he wants to play with us,
and yeah, I love basketball, so I just thought i'd
wrap up with just a little just a taste of
the NBA. And oh, by the way, I gotta give
a congrats to the Denver Nuggets, who are struggling so

(28:07):
badly this year, so badly that I got to give
him a shout out for an overtime win in Toronto
where they eked it out by two. Nikola jokicch had
forty and it was like, oh, man, y'all are struggling
with Toronto really. And Russell Westbrook, by the way, I'm
going in no comment on that hard fel on Scotty Barnes,
but Scotty Barnes let him know a tough times for

(28:29):
Russell Westbrook. A Right, that's it for today, back tomorrow.
