Speaker 1 (00:00):
Good news everyone, I listened to the Black Guy Who
Tips podcast because Rod and Karen are hot.
Speaker 2 (00:08):
Salutations and welcome to another episode of the Blackout Tips podcast.
I'm your host Rod. Now I'm joined as always by
my co host Karen, and she is also my wife.
Just get you didn't know, maybe you've been listening all
this time. You're like, wow, these very consistent.
Speaker 1 (00:27):
Friends, very consistent.
Speaker 2 (00:31):
You can find this podcast on the blackoutis dot com
or any place you find podcasts. Just search the Blackout Tips.
We even on YouTube, and we appreciate people that check
it out there and we need comments. I haven't checked
the progress on when we commoditize it yet, but I
think we were getting kind of close. Like at this point,
it's just how many hours do you people say it's
(00:51):
been watching and it takes a while to get all
those like I want to say, it's like four thousand
hours people have to listen to or something like that.
So you know, appreciate y'all that took time out to
do that kind of stuff, because it matters a lot
to us.
Speaker 3 (01:09):
It does.
Speaker 2 (01:11):
The official weapon of the show is an unofficial sport,
a bulletball storm, and I guess without further ado we
can really get into the show. I mean, the show
Notes has all the stuff about you know where, the
you know where to leave feedback, and we do feedback
(01:31):
shows every Saturday. I appreciate the people that lead that
that that leaves the feedback, and I appreciate the people
that say, hey, that's our favorite show and now you
know it routinely gets a little bit less listeners than
the regular normal shows. But man, I think people are
sucking up skipping the feedback shows. But that's for them.
Another thing I want to say, say, housekeeping wise, we
(01:54):
were I was recently on the for All Nerves podcasts.
They did a review of the trailer for Black Panther two,
I know, and it was two hours, but it was
like a whole panel of people. I was on it
with a bunch of y'alls faves and it was where
I got introduced to the recast to Challa movement, which
(02:17):
I had not heard of until I did that show.
Uh not that I hadn't like seen hashtags, I just
had not interacted with anyone. It just felt like a
kind of a weird thing to be obsessed over. That's
just my personal opinion. Like I'm not saying it's a
weird thing to want. I think people are gonna want,
(02:39):
you know, correct, you know, but I thought it was
a weird thing to be like, they need to do this,
you know.
Speaker 1 (02:47):
You're gonna make movements.
Speaker 2 (02:48):
Yeah, it's a little different. So for those that don't know,
it's like, I guess, since since Chadwick Boseman died in
real life and played the character to Challa in Black
Panther movies, well in the first Black Panther movie and
several Marvel you know, properties uh, there's a contingent of
people that are like, they shouldn't even acknowledge that chad
(03:09):
with bosan actor did. They should just do the next
Black Panther, recast the role and then just have you know,
you show up and I don't know, Tyres or somebody
is playing you know, playing to Challa and it just
never like it never happened. You can't do that. And
(03:30):
you know, they decided obviously not to do that because
in the trailer you can see them acknowledging that he
is dead and that at least even in the Marvel universe,
to Challa has passed. And uh, I guess there's a
lot of contingent of people that were mad about it
that they made that decision, even though I think we
(03:51):
knew they were gonna make the decision a long time ago.
And to me, it felt like they were really nitpicking
over some details, like they shouldn't have showed that he
was dead in the trailer, which is a weird thing
to say.
Speaker 1 (04:02):
Right, because the thing is, I do understand and there
have been some situations where people just like, hey, we're
just gonna recast this person to keep it trucking. Okay, cool,
but the person who played that particular character was so
iconic and the person died in real life. So it's like,
you have to acknowledge that, in my opinion, in order
(04:22):
for people to actually more you know, and kind of
move on. And these people actually work with this person
and shit like that. You can't be like, YadA YadA YadA,
move the storyline alone.
Speaker 2 (04:34):
Yeah, So we had a good conversation about that for
our nerds, which hopefully people listen to it enjoy. But yeah,
and then, as with all those movements, there's been a
lot of harassment because it's termed very male centric and
a lot of you know, the kind of hotel guys
(04:55):
the gamer gay type of guys, you know, Snyder Verse
type of nigga, like that type of thing is kind
of like piled onto it. So you and this is
for the record, this is the main reason I don't
like online communities, and I definitely don't like online nerd communities.
They're just they almost always go toxic, yep, because you
(05:17):
have to deal with this element of either I gotta
wake up every day and fight motherfuckers over these fictional properties, or.
Speaker 4 (05:25):
You gotta wake up and get attacked by these.
Speaker 2 (05:26):
People and not either way, it just seems like not
the reason I like stuff, And.
Speaker 1 (05:32):
It makes shit not fun and it makes shit not enjoyable.
And in my opinion, I think that for a lot
of people, they quote unquote grew up grew up being
the right type of nerve, which there's no such thing
as the right type of nerd because nerd kind of
goes across all you know, genres and genders and all
(05:53):
that type of stuff. But you do have these people
that's now since quote unquote nerdom is actually outside of
their little box, all of a sudden, they're mad and
they're anger and they're upset and they don't want to
quote unquote share the toys and anything outside of what
they think it should be is a problem. And a
lot of that stems from misogyny. A lot of that
(06:13):
stems it's very toxic, a lot of a lot of
those people that feel like that, And that's why you
have these subsections that break off where you have women
kind of create their own subsection and black people create
their own subsection and shit like that because people go, hey,
you know, I want I want to celebrate these things,
but I want it over here. But even within them subsections,
a lot of that stuff kind of creeps its way
(06:35):
into these other genres. And this is one of the
reasons why we started the nerd Off, Like, one of
the biggest reasons why we started the nerd Off was
because we saw it kind of heading its way and
we picked up on the earth. I was like, no,
I can't, I can't be a part of this. I
want to be able to like something and just like
it and just love it and just enjoy it. And
(06:57):
if you don't like it, that's fine, like like like,
that's fine, but you don't have to convince me that
it's trash. You don't have to convince me that it
is not okay. You just don't. You just don't watch
it like it's okay, because I guarantee you like some
shit that I think is whack.
Speaker 2 (07:10):
Yeah, I think for me, I just don't like attaching
so much racial shit to this type of media. Not
because I you know, obviously I'm a race nerd, but
a lot of times it does to me take the
fun out, and because everything becomes about like some type
(07:30):
of moral calls or virtue or something other than just
did you enjoy it? Was it cool? And so this
is a prime example. I don't even like black nerd
groups because blackness is not a monolith, and a lot
of times people feel like it should be within those groups.
And so if you don't enjoy something as much as
(07:53):
other people, you gotta fight. If you enjoy it too much,
you gotta fight. If you are open minded to something,
you gotta like if you close my like So you know,
I remember a long time ago, back when I don't
know if they still did this, but I turned the
function off, but you could make group direct messages on
Twitter and yeah, and someone put me in a group
(08:16):
because they know I'm a black nerd, so they put
me in this group that was like, you know, blurs
or something I did not ask to be put in.
And you know, I tried to be you know, nice
about it, but honest to god, these were the most
miserable nerds I have ever met my mother fucking life, virtually,
because like every announcement was how it was gonna be
(08:38):
fucked up and I hope they don't fuck this up,
and it is fucked up, and their anxiety around shit
is so weird. It's like, you know, like one of
the things that started, you know, with this conversation on
the show was like, you know, how do you feel
about you know, Black Panther two, and how do you
feel about the trailer? And da da da, And most
of the people expressed some type of anxiety about Black
(09:00):
Panther two, especially after Chadwick got and like I said,
it could just be me. And this is why I
don't need to be in these groups. I don't feel
anxiety over media. Like if they fucked something up, they
fucked it up. There'll be another chance. I watch something
different in the theater next time.
Speaker 4 (09:16):
It's okay.
Speaker 2 (09:18):
It's no one's ever fucked something up in a media
piece that really affected my life, you know, so like,
I have nothing but warren feelings. They did a good job.
Why would I anticipate them doing less of a good job.
Why would I want them to do less of a
good job. Why would I even want to spend let
my mind speculate about that until that happened? You know,
(09:40):
you know, worry is just your anxieties and energy going
to a place that it can't change. It's either worried
about the past or worry about the future, but it's
still something you can't change. I greed, and so that's
you know, those are so stuff like that. I know
I don't really belong in those groups. And then a
lot of times, like I said, representation, everything is twofold.
(10:03):
A lot of people haven't got to that level yet
where they can see every choice has a downside, Like
most people are, they think they're still righting wrong choices
with black art. And you know, a lot of times
I avoid talking to people like that. Sure, And I
know I'm in a very small group of people that
are like, no, it doesn't if you recast them. Some
(10:23):
people will be hurt if you don't. Some people will
be hurt if you You know, there's a bunch of
reasons that people might feel upset about things, and I
prefer not to deal with that. Nope. The last thing
I'll say though, because I didn't even plan on talking
about this, But the last thing I'll say too, the
misogyny within the movement cannot be dismissed. And no matter.
(10:45):
I was on there with the guy who started the
movement for recast to Challah and seemed like a nice
enough guy, but I don't know him, Like that's the
only time talking to him, so you know, hopefully he's
like that all the time, you know, because he seemed
like a decent enough guy in the show, but every
time he talked, he had to disavow his own move
people within his own movement. To me, that's never a
(11:08):
good thing. That means your movement has gotten toxic when
you have to Like I don't feel that way when
when I talk about certain stuff because I don't hang
out with people like that. I normally dip on stuff.
That's like, if if I'm part of something, I see
it's going bad, I'm out, Like I really don't need
I don't I have nothing to prove, you know, Like, Okay, well,
(11:30):
these niggas are tripping I'm not with that peace, but
uh yeah, a lot like some of the uh Steph,
Stephanie Williams and Karama Horn were on that show and
they were talking about being harassed by these guys. You know,
that's not good. And so that's another reason I find
(11:50):
that whole debate to be like bad, like like I
just I and I think a lot of these guys
have some issues around women and especially with blackness because
a lot of the reasoning I've seen is what about
our black boys? Who are they gonna have to look
(12:11):
up to? If this movie the trailer doesn't have enough
black men in it, what about the black what about
the black black man representation and all this shit? And
it's really like, hmm, it's a lot of stereotypical kind
of reductive shit in here. And it's not that black
men don't need role models or representation anything. But the
(12:35):
dude died. They didn't kill them, right, And if they
want to acknowledge that this man died, that's not a
bad thing. And it's not giving it over to the
women or whatever. And even if they did give it
over to the women, what would be the problem. It's
a fucking like, it's a movie, you know what I'm saying,
And like, why is it beyond the pale for your
(12:59):
son to look up to? If a woman was the
black panther, why couldn't they still isn't that still a hero?
Like the only heroes a black boy can have will
have to be another, will have to be assist at
black man and nobody else. Right, It's just it, all
of it feels kind of fucked up and toxic and
like people don't really want to say what they really mean.
(13:20):
So I you know, I enjoy being on the show,
but that movement, those are my thoughts on that recast,
the child movement. It just I don't have a problem
with people that feel that way, right, But I also
feel like, if you want of them niggas that argue
about it every day, you're probably whack, Like.
Speaker 1 (13:39):
Yes you know what I mean, Yes you are. And
we're probably gonna talk about this on whenever we do
the Nerd Off. But I have really I was excited
about the trailer, you know, since we were talking about it,
I was excited about the trailer. I love the trailer.
I've been watching Nerves crying, Nerd tears all weak because
I love that goddamn song. And so for me, I'm excited.
(14:01):
I want November to come on and get here.
Speaker 2 (14:04):
Oh I'm mad.
Speaker 1 (14:05):
I can't already have my ticket in hand. I mean,
come on, Marvel, let's go right.
Speaker 2 (14:11):
So yeah, man, I that's all. I don't have anything
else extra add just wow, you know what I mean?
Straight straight your movement up or or step away from it,
because god damn that's terrible.
Speaker 4 (14:25):
All right, coronavirus time Corona again.
Speaker 5 (14:27):
Look did we go with Kain? We got very yans.
Really need to keep a mask on hand and follow
the plan. Get the vaccine and second shots. Whether woman,
the man black out who tips is doing they part,
but the dumbest expand niggas would rather believe a bunch
of misinformation. Fuck y'all idiots not getting shots now. We
gotta regrets. If we keep going in this direction, we
never can rest, never can't get back to the less
(14:48):
we be living the fast. Damn fool stopped the lion,
stop the intubation, crying because it's your fucking motherfucker's dying.
Damn fool stopped the lions stopped up ventilated, crying because
it's your fucking motherfucker's dying. I do not understand this shit.
I'm not a fan of this. We would like one
win from the Pandemic Championship. The fuck us want to
leave it to Game seven with yannisself to Copope flocking
(15:09):
forward progression and Chris middle fingers to your plants man team.
Looks like it's no jew holiday for you when your
man some sick of black people time for real. So
I'm just writing this moviees to let you know how
I feel. Coronavirus. Yeah, fuck that COVID nineteen is unseen.
It's creeping in the air for you to breed yet.
Huh so fuck that COVID nineteen is unseen. It's creeping
(15:32):
in the air for you to breathe yet.
Speaker 2 (15:33):
Coronavirus. Coronavirus time. We don't have a lot of news,
but let's get through it anyway. Charlotte woman, please guilty
to sell and unapproved COVID nineteen remedy. What was the remedy?
Speaker 6 (15:45):
Uh?
Speaker 2 (15:47):
She was, Yeah, she was selling some some shit to
she sorted to undercover, uh pers in with the FDA,
and uh whoops, you know what the FDA stand for?
They like you kid this, Uh Diana daff In sixty nine. Charlotte,
North Carolina, pleaded guilty on Wednesday to selling unapproved drugs
(16:09):
with the intent to defraud of lead. The FDA. Court
documents and statements made in the court showed in March
twenty twenty, the FDA learned she was selling unapproved drugs
on her website in April and August of that year.
The FDA said her warnings ask her the correct the violation.
Although she told the FDA she removed the products from
(16:31):
a website she would would stop distributing them, she continued
to do so and took steps to defraud and mislead
the agency. So she sold some to an undercover law
enforcement officer. Product advertised as a drug that could cure, mitigate, treat,
and prevent COVID nineteen. All wow, the scientists haven't even
come over that.
Speaker 1 (16:51):
Right, you gotta kure all.
Speaker 2 (16:53):
Right, but they figured it out.
Speaker 3 (16:56):
Oh, they warned you.
Speaker 1 (16:57):
They was like, hey, you know, we're wanting you, and
knowing them they wanted her several times.
Speaker 2 (17:04):
They don't want you.
Speaker 1 (17:05):
They probably want her like three times. They're like three
strike you out, a bitch, You going jail.
Speaker 2 (17:08):
Yeah, the f A and the FDA st just for
funking around and apparently she found out come on. Uh
but yes, uh, she would be sentenced November a second.
Mm hmmmm, let's see Joe Biden continues to test positive
for coronavirus in rebound case after he took that pax loved.
(17:32):
This is the same thing I believe it happened to
jail Covi in.
Speaker 1 (17:36):
Sending people who ain't continue to test positives for a while.
Speaker 2 (17:41):
Well, the pax lobed is specifically like one where you
can get through it and be asymptomatic by the way,
but have a rebound case either asymptomatic or symptomatic after
you've gotten through it. So and people think I was
seeing inspectulation. No, this is not scientific report. Don't write
(18:03):
in this is not me reporting anything scientific. Okay. I
just saw some people speculating, and I just want to
be clear before y'all get to type in some bullshit
that I'm not saying this is proven. But there were
people speculating that maybe trying to work through having like
your Packslavid and then being like, I'm gonna go ahead
and do some work too, Let me work from home,
(18:24):
let me hop on the zoo, let me get on
my computer. There was like, maybe that could be part
of why people have the recurrence, but we don't have
any direct information if that's what it is.
Speaker 1 (18:35):
Right, And the thing is, what do you mean by PACKLA.
Speaker 2 (18:40):
That's a specific drug treatment? Okay, well, I think it's
like six pills a day or something like that you
have to take and to help get it through your
body faster the coronavirus. But yeah, that's a good question.
But uh, yeah, so people and you know not, I
(19:01):
don't know that everyone can get it or what the
rules are getting it. But yeah, it says bom boom,
you take three tablets together orally twice a day, so
six tablets a day for five days, and I guess it.
(19:23):
It is for people. You can talk to your health
care provider to determine whether, based on individual circumstances, you're
elible eligible for it. The treatment should be initiated as
soon as possible after a diagnosis and within five days
of symptom onset.
Speaker 1 (19:37):
So okay, so it's something that helped fight against it
once you already have it.
Speaker 2 (19:42):
Yeah, okay, it's not like the vaccine.
Speaker 1 (19:45):
Yeah, the vaccine, it's like a medicine.
Speaker 2 (19:48):
If you get fluid medicine or cold medicine.
Speaker 1 (19:51):
Okay, like you go take some thumber flu yeah, but.
Speaker 2 (19:54):
Yeah to get you up for real. It's all good. Oh. Now,
because of all this research about coronavirus, there are some
promising developments for an actual pan coronavirus vaccine, which is
a vaccine that would affect just all types of coronaviruses
(20:16):
and help us be able to fight them off. It
wouldn't prevent the coronavirus, but it will help us fight
it off faster. And that's what now. I don't know
if people remember when this whole pandemic started. Coronavirus is
basically the common code. So something that would give us
kind of universal add to bodies that would fight against
(20:38):
a slew of different coronaviruses may come out of this
because of all the research that has gone into fighting
this specific version of the COVID nineteen.
Speaker 1 (20:48):
Yeah, so they have more information. So they were like, okay,
we could actually attack this better now. Like you said,
it won't prevent it. It won't even actually prevent the spread.
It will just help you for a If you get it,
you ain't down for the count or like that, right right,
I'm Okay, I'm with you on that one.
Speaker 2 (21:07):
And lastly, they done some new studies that they believe
point to coronavirus emerging in the wild and not from
a Chinese lab like they were like, has been speculated.
Speaker 1 (21:24):
Okay, I just out there doing his own thing, and
it was like, I'm ill.
Speaker 2 (21:28):
Yeah, I guess maybe people think that Wuhan, Chinese market,
it could have, you know, because live animals were sold there.
They think maybe it came from there. Yeah, I think
from animal but basically Republicans and you know, after a while,
some Democrats people started speculating that this was a man
made virus that escaped the Chinese lab. But these studies
(21:51):
are now saying that might not be the case or
probably isn't the case.
Speaker 1 (21:54):
I can see that.
Speaker 2 (21:55):
Yeah, I guess we'll see more information comes out. But yeah,
I thought that was a I thought that was interesting.
All right, Uh, let's move into some other news. I
did want to acknowledge. I mean, it's not it's news,
and we don't don't talk about these things that much.
But Bill Russell and Michelle Nichols, they passed like literally
(22:16):
right before we went live on the show.
Speaker 1 (22:18):
I will saying that it was like back to back.
I was like, oh, what's happening.
Speaker 2 (22:22):
Yeah, for those that don't know Bill Russell obviously like
eleven time NBA champion Michelle Nichols, you know her from
Star Trek The Black Women in the original series. So
like definitely just one of those moments where it's like, damn,
like back to back. I mean, they got to live good,
(22:45):
long lives, and you know that's that's beautiful. They were iconic,
They were outspoken, just like can't it would be hard
to probably find people that have anything negative say about
either one of them. Good you know, lives will lived.
But I did want to acknowledge that for moving to
our other sections and stuff, because that was like damn,
(23:06):
you know yeah.
Speaker 1 (23:07):
Now you know, particularly Bill Russell. I was reading some
stuff that is coming out and he dealt with.
Speaker 2 (23:13):
Some real racism.
Speaker 1 (23:14):
Man, So people go, why does he feel that way?
I was like, oh, because he dealt with some ship
like like he was like what y'all not gonna do?
Is this bullshit? And people, you know, everybody don't take
that well. But it's the old black man that doesn't
dealt with some realized racism and he's like.
Speaker 2 (23:28):
No, yeah. So shout out to them and rest of peace.
All right, let's move into some other news. Uh, let's
do some lgbt Q news.
Speaker 7 (23:40):
Me what you want to You better move your biding,
you better move your feet, and I want some cool
show me what cool riding carry babies.
Speaker 8 (23:53):
LGBTQ news.
Speaker 2 (23:58):
I'm still on summer's coming. The sun is shining, the
shirts are off, and your balls are smooth.
Speaker 4 (24:15):
You heard that right.
Speaker 2 (24:16):
Your friends in Manscape are here to make sure your
beach balls are smooth. As the Floridian said. In the summer,

in to salted water at the beach because there's things
too bad. Go to Manscape get that twenty percent off
and free shipping with cod tbg wt at manscape dot com.
All right, let's talk about it. GOP senators says climate
bill could spell doom for marriage quality bill. It's Senator
(25:29):
Susan Collins, who is one of these pretending to be
moderate Republicans. Like she's always the one that does exactly
what the rest of the Republicans do, but she always
like putting out press at least is like, oh, I
was so concerned.
Speaker 4 (25:44):
I was so worried, but yeah, I'm gonna go ahead
and vote.
Speaker 2 (25:46):
Against gay people's rights, right, you know, Like she's that person.
She confirmed help confirm, you know, the Supreme Court justices
that we have. But she was also like I talked
to him, and I don't think he's gonna overturn Roe v. Wade. Oops,
thee overturned ro v. Wade. I'm shocked. You know, she's
that person. Anyway, For those that don't know politically, we
(26:12):
talked about some of the wisdoms are getting well. One
of the things is a bit of trickeration, And honestly,
you gotta give props to somebody that I never thought
i'd give rops to on the show. Gotta get proper
center Joe Manchin. Uh wow. So it's if this passes, well,
it's seems he ran an okie dope where they got
(26:34):
Republicans to agree to pass the chip shortage bill. So
y'all should be getting your PlayStation fives and your.
Speaker 1 (26:43):
Car some of the cars be going down soon and.
Speaker 2 (26:45):
Shit, yeah, you know, trying to you know, get that
inflection down. And Republicans voted along with them, a lot
of them.
Speaker 1 (26:52):
Yeah, because guess what they handed from people too talking
about these highest car prices and folks arguing about this shit.
Speaker 2 (26:57):
Yes, yeah, Bernie said he didn't even like it. You
wasn't gonna vote for it, but they didn't need his vote. Okay.
So then the part of the reason that got the
pass is because Joe Manchin had been saying all this time,
I'm not gonna help Biden pass this bill back better shit,
And since that's what was happening, Mitch mcconnor was like, yeah,
(27:20):
go ahead. If you're a Republican you feel like voting
for the chip thing, Go ahead and vote for it.
Not even gonna argue with you. I'm not gonna hold
you go, do you think because it was always seen
as like leverage and they didn't need to exert that
leverage because obviously Bill back Better wasn't gonna pass. Well, tada,
this nigga Joe Mancher came out for weeks. Him and
(27:44):
Senator Chuck Schumer, the Leader of the House, Speaker of
the House. They've been working behind the scenes for a
couple of weeks to pass what they call the Reduced
Inflation Act or some shit, but it's really a lot
of the shit from Bill back Better, just a little
scale down. And so they're gonna pass it possibly next week.
And of course McConnell's like, these motherfuckers played me. Fuck
(28:07):
them that they won't revenge and this is all coming
back to this lgbtc's news, I promise. But so they
basically like, oh, they played us because they got us
to vote for the fucking chips. We would have never
done that. And now Mansion, who I've been looking at
as my ace boone coon, is sitting up here about
the past. This motherfucking shit that I thought we had
(28:30):
in the bag. So now Republicans are looking for revenge.
And it's interesting in the place that they're looking for
revenge is Democrats obviously want to codify the right to
marriage equality because look what happened with Roe v. Wade.
Now Susan Collins SU's members. She's supposed to be the
(28:51):
good hearted, good nature moderate Republican. She's like, well, maybe
we won't pass anything that a fids the rights to
marriage equality because these motherfuckers passed that build back better
shit behind our backs. So that's what Basically, gay people
(29:12):
can't have rights because we mad Yeah, it's just yeah,
And she's the good She's the good one. Collins didn't
say why Senators couldn't vote for both the Respect Marriage
Act and the Inflation Reduction Act. She argued that negotiations
(29:32):
between Joe Manchin and Chuck Schumer on the Inflation Reduction
Act were kept under wraps until another bill of our
computer chips passed to send it, and that makes it
harder for unexplained reasons to vote to support marriage equality.
So maybe this would end up costing us that they
passing shit, But we knew these motherfuckers was Patty before.
Speaker 1 (29:52):
This, Yeah, and not your funny. They wouldn't go past
either one. I don't know what people talk about. Yeah,
y'all wouldn't go past either one. So yeah, we got
one through.
Speaker 2 (30:01):
I honestly, they're just mad they slipped up and passed
something they really believe in, right, because they because they
believed in that ship. That's why they That's why they
passed it is because they was like, we do need
them chips, because they're big time donors and people in electronics,
silicon value all this. They see America is hurting and
needs these motherfucking chips.
Speaker 1 (30:21):
So yeah, that's and it's still apparent. Its still fucked
up and they still need to be held accountable. Why
can't BOPI passed.
Speaker 2 (30:28):
Right the same way they didn't pass that ship for
them veterans, like they always it's just reasons. Oh, it's
just we don't need to be specific, and the media
never questions them to be specific either, never asked why.
Michigan Supreme Court rules that anti LGBTQ discrimination is illegal.
In historic victory, Michigan Supreme Court is ruled that businesses, landlords,
(30:49):
and others cannot discriminate based on sexual orientation. Or gender identity.
You think that would be common sense, even though the
state civil rights legislation doesn't specifically mention this category. The
Landmark fired a two decision because two people still was like,
I don't know, maybe we should be able to kick
gay people out of their house for no fucking reason.
Speaker 1 (31:09):
Right, maybe we should be able to file for no reason.
Speaker 2 (31:12):
Uh. The decision establishes that the bands on Discrimination on
the basis of Sex and the States nineteen seventy six
Elliott Larce and Civil Rights cover sexual orientation and gender identity.
If there's one thing about this role overturning thing, it
has really put a spark up from people's asses about
getting shit codified. That they've been just sitting out here
(31:32):
with these gentlemen's agreements and they've been bullshitting on If
anything good, quote unquote, anything good comes out of this
Trump administration shit, it will be that Republicans complete lack
of decency, have had to make Democrats and people that
are just right minded go and get the shit in
writing right.
Speaker 1 (31:51):
And it's one of those things where a lot of
these groups have been like put it on the books,
put it on their books, Like people haven't pushed it
for them to put this shit.
Speaker 2 (31:58):
In right forever.
Speaker 1 (32:01):
And they been bullshitting because they never thought nobody would
be like, fuck you and your rules.
Speaker 2 (32:06):
And well, the thing is, I don't think there's been
a lot of people that's been pushing them, because a
lot of us have been taking it for granted. I mean,
how many of us really were like, I can't believe
we haven't caught a five row yet, none of us
we were all sitting around like, yeah, that's about it,
that's a right. The Supreme Court ruled the end, a
(32:28):
lot of us got like comfortable with a lot of shit,
you know what I mean, because in your life, and
it's because of the propaganda of America and the way
it sold to us. We don't expect to see regress
in our lifetimes, right, Everything's always sold as the moral
arc of the universe bending towards progress.
Speaker 4 (32:47):
And you know, so we built, we conquered that here,
we did this.
Speaker 2 (32:51):
There's been so much pushback since twenty ten at the
you know, since Obama said Trayvon Martin looked like his
son could be a son. Ever since then, there's been
so much regression. I get it. And honestly, the numbers
haven't been in the favor of Democrats since then, like
they like, so even if this was your thing, like
(33:11):
we need to codify this and need to do this,
there's been a lot of times when people ain't even
had the numbers and the urgency has been kicked in
the gear because they got their asses kicked that the
Supreme Court level. So yeah, you're you're right that there
have been people who have been pushing for it. I'm
not saying that.
Speaker 1 (33:26):
I mean, it's not a it was like so I
would say.
Speaker 2 (33:30):
If you took a pollers issues like this, people would
be like, I don't think there's a need to like
get it in writing. We know that this is wrong. No,
we need it in right now.
Speaker 1 (33:43):
Like if anything good.
Speaker 2 (33:44):
Comes out of this, I'm not saying I obviously don't
if this is all we could get out. I mean,
every day I wake up, I'd rather have had Hillary.
But if anything good it's gonna come out of the
United States having to get out of these gentlemen's agreements
and be like, h write it.
Speaker 1 (34:00):
Down, yeah, write it down, make it plane, put it
on the books. Because me and you have even covered
articles over the years where people that have been going
and modifying like languages and buying homes and languages and
buying properties that have been on the books forever, and
a lot of states want of him and harm. People say, no,
take this negro shit out, take this white only shit out.
Speaker 2 (34:20):
Take it out of these goddamn laws. And just to
be even more clear to the point, in twenty fifteen,
Michigan Democrats introduced bills that would have added explicit protections
for sexual orientation, gender identity, gender expression into the ELCRA.
The bills were blocked by Republican leaders. Michigan Supreme Court
declined it here in a pill for fair and equal
(34:41):
Michigan to have the nineteen seventy six law revised to
include protects against anti LGBTQ discrimination in twenty twenty one.
So the point being, they have been fighting this fight,
so because it's not Democrats are just chilling and anything.
It was no big deal. You need the numbers, and
if you don't have the numbers, this is what it
looks like. I saw this great thread about abortion protections,
(35:06):
and it was this person basically combating the huge amount
of misinformation that's floating around saying that Joe Biden Democrats
Kamala Harris have never done anything. They're not doing anything
when it comes to this rights for abortion. You know
a lot of white women start talking that way, and
most of the time it's because you don't pay attention, right, right.
(35:27):
And for most people that don't that talk that way
because they don't pay attention, they just look at the results.
We lost clearly, just means nobody gave ye. It's emotional
and they just run with it.
Speaker 5 (35:37):
Right.
Speaker 2 (35:37):
And so that was this long, I mean too long
to read. That's how long this thread was. Now links
and graphs and all this shit, and it was just
going back, back, back and back, like in nineteen eighty one.
They've tried to pass this in those past, and then
this was the reaction, and then this happened, and then
on the state level, this sit on the federal level
that and it was like, yes, because of course they've
(35:58):
been fighting this fight. Just because you woke up yesterday,
you saw we took the l and you decided to
show up, it doesn't mean you the only motherfucker that care.
People care and they saw this coming. But you can't
do anything if the voting populace don't give a fuck.
Speaker 1 (36:12):
Correct, And it makes a lot of people angry when
you have these brand new people to show up on
the scene and they act like, well, I'm here, and
you like people like, okay, dog, I've been fighting for
this twenty five or fifty years. Okay, beat you here.
You know what, You're gonna hit the same motherfucking wall
I have. It's time for you to get on down
here and work with us. But you want to get
up there and blow your horn and act like you
(36:34):
you fancy you.
Speaker 2 (36:35):
You found a problem, You have all the solutions.
Speaker 1 (36:37):
But when it's time to actually do the work work
and put in them hours and like put your feet
to the ground and possibly go door to door and
like actually make some shit moves, you can get some
shit done.
Speaker 2 (36:48):
Them people are not around. Well, it just it's like
I showed up. Y'all must not have been doing shit,
you know, that's how everybody is. Or like activism and shit,
y'all must not have been doing shit, Like you gotta
go through this new like what the thing? When I
see active especially on social media, I almost look at
them and be like, I'll give them a couple of years.
(37:10):
I'll check in a couple of years, because of course
you think because you thought of this today, no one's
thought of it, So you know, you'll get into the
challenges of wise. That way, you'll get into why the
old guard have troubles, the things they ran, into the
practicalities that come up, and then we'll see if you
really did have to stick to itiveness and the new
(37:30):
ideas to really resonate, or if you just another motherfucker
like us on Twitter, just making going by the seat
of your pants. A group of Texans are combating their
Affordable Care Act because it requires coverage for STDs HIV.
Group claims it's encouraging homosexual behavior and prostitution.
Speaker 1 (37:52):
The fuck is wrong with people? What is wrong with people?
That makes no sense?
Speaker 2 (37:56):
So you gonna not want health care because you think
some gay people and some prostitutes might get it. Boy,
if that is not a microcosm of what is wrong
with America. Rights to pict everybody. Here's some cheap healthcare
that you can afford that that that can ensure everybody
in our country for the most part.
Speaker 1 (38:19):
Make the cost go down, because for a while, the
cost was fucking going up every year. I remember that
it was a hot minute where it was like your
costs going up your costs going up, Your costs going
to be like, well, shit, come on now, and when
you do that, all that's gonna be in there, it's
he it's healthy people. And that's the problem everybody, I mean,
not trying to fuck I was gonna be in there.
Sick people and a lot of times they need the
most care.
Speaker 2 (38:39):
So you the reason, yeah, the reason that barbacare can
work is if enough people sign up for it, it
almost pays for itself. But yeah, it's just interesting that
these motherfuckers are like contraception. Contraception is used by more.
Speaker 4 (38:54):
Than prostitutes, right, like you can just you could be.
Speaker 1 (38:58):
Married, what you don't it's about controlling STDs.
Speaker 2 (39:03):
Can straight people get STD they do, straight people get HIV?
Speaker 1 (39:07):
They just like, stop fucking in the world. Don't work Like.
Speaker 2 (39:11):
They don't even make sense on the level they're trying
to make it make sense, is what I'm saying. Before
you get to the morality the right or wrong and
approval disapproval, I'm saying, everything they listed are things that
just since had people used too, Like you are hurting
yourself because you think it'll stop people from being gay
or being prostitutes. Holy shit, boy, boy, and the fact
(39:39):
that you only want you don't want preventative care, right,
you only want care after the motherfucker got something. That's like,
you can go to the hospital. Now, what about stopping
it from being a problem. Oh boy, Miami Dad rejects
sex ad textbook test and test of states anti LGBT law.
(40:00):
So they have to don't say gay lel which means teachers, book, textbooks, lessons.
They don't want anything that hints about the fact that
there are gay people alive and doing stuff. And so
the Miami Day School Board voted four to I mean
five to four on Wednesday to discard a textbook at
the month's song campaign from some parents at community members
(40:22):
who said the book, which included topics such as abortion
and birth control, was not age appropriate and violated their
parental rights.
Speaker 1 (40:29):
You know, you know, you don't have to a lot
of parents not to take the like the fuck. So
you go, well, I'm not gonna hide my job, so
we can't nobody can't no child get the education. And
you know, for some children, this is the only place
they even learned about this shit's in school because most
parents are panic when it comes to sex.
Speaker 7 (40:46):
Uh.
Speaker 2 (40:47):
Some see the school's boards reversal as the first test
of the case of the Florida's controversial Parental Rights and
Education Act, which went into effect July first, and was
invoked by opponents of the new sex education textbook. The law,
which critics have dubbed Don't Say Gay, bands educators from
talking about sexuality and gender with pe students from kindergarten
through grade A third grade, and gives parents broad rights
(41:10):
to challenge any k through twelve material they don't consider
developmentally a appropriate for their children. So they already wrapped
up a win.
Speaker 8 (41:20):
Uh.
Speaker 1 (41:22):
And something that they did, which uh, if if a
lot of Republicans, I mean a lot of Democrats are smart,
they'll start doing the shit that they do as far
as getting on these school boards, Like that's that's what
they did.
Speaker 2 (41:33):
This is how they have so much power.
Speaker 1 (41:35):
Start getting on these school boards, start running for these offices,
start winning, and so you can have a say so
in a lot of these shit. A lot of these
extremely left leaning people, you know, start on these levels
where you can make the changes where you want the
changes go because you directly you yeah, you getting to
impact people on national levels and you know in in
bigger state levels, but a lot of times the small
(41:56):
cities and small towns and small states. That's what the
Republicans did. And that's why it's such a fucking big
ass wave because the stars as a rupple, and eventually
you get enough ruples you can actually make a wave.
Speaker 2 (42:06):
Yeah, anti gay slur slinging Bishop Brooklyn Bishop accused of
stealing ninety thousand dollars from Congregate. So I didn't know
this because we didn't watch that whole video. It was
too much yelling and Bishop Lamar Whitehead, the guy that
got robbed when he went on that radio show, I
guess one of the hosts is gay, and so he
(42:28):
started calling him gay slurs.
Speaker 1 (42:31):
Oh no, I know, we know. It was too much
happening with that video album.
Speaker 2 (42:34):
Yeah I didn't. I mean it was an hour long.
Obviously wasn't gonna play the whole thing on our podcast.
But I guess he has a So he went on
that show and H see, I'm not saying that the
past had anything to do with it. I don't know.
Maybe someone that knows him had set him up because
he said in one of the videos that they took
one of the chains from him that was inside of
his road, Well, how do they someone even know that
(42:56):
that was there? So that made me think maybe or
someone he knew. Also, he said that white Head's church
look kind of Tyler Perrish to me read brought a
white Head's past homophobia as well. Whitehead saw the show
and leta to participate in an interview with Reid and
Warren via Facebook Live. During the discussion of the robbery,
Whitehead fireback and read and Warren from Mockingham and Herald
and anti gay slurred read you want to sit here
(43:18):
and validate homosexuality because you just admitted that you're a
F word. On Tuesday, after the interview, Whitehead posted another
video to social media addressing his comments, saying the Bible
says homosexuality is an abomination. Larry Reid expressed who he is.
I'm expressing who I am. You ain't bullying me. Larry
Reid is the Wendy Williams of gospel.
Speaker 8 (43:38):
Larry Read.
Speaker 2 (43:39):
You admit it that you.
Speaker 4 (43:41):
Were a homosexual at one point in your life.
Speaker 2 (43:43):
You admitted it. That's what you admit it. But you
don't sit here and tell me that I don't like
people of different gender status because I love all people
I love them all. Whatever you choose to do. This
is America, this is the world. You do what you do.
But it's not going to stop me from preaching the
gospel Jesus Christ. The Bible says homosexuality is an abomination,
and I'm in that scripture. I'm not going to jump
(44:04):
over that. That doesn't make me homophobic. I have to
preach the unadulterated word of Jesus Christ. Then why did
you call him the F word? Though? Like, even if
you believe that, what part of the F word is
that that's what Jesus would have said, right, And the
slur sounds like a lot of it.
Speaker 1 (44:19):
A lot of pride is spoken in this, Like they
said something. He didn't like it, so he went on
the offensive and the attacking just like got me nasty. Yeah,
claiming it's something that they did.
Speaker 2 (44:31):
And apparently him and mayor officer mayor Adams. Uh, that's
he calls Eric Adams his mentor or a mentor. Oh no,
so Eric Adams denounced that language. He said, this is
inappropriate language for anyone, let alone religiously that who should
show a greater letter of the level of the chorum. So, yeah,
(44:54):
it looks like he's not with it. Arm robbers are
serious and traumatic experience that should not be mocked. But
no one should resort to homophobic comments or body shaming
and response, yeah, that dude, just if you believe in
that dude or something. I don't. I'm not even religious,
But that's that's not anything with God talking the way
(45:15):
he was talking to them people, I agree like that.
That shit was super fucked up.
Speaker 1 (45:20):
Was whack.
Speaker 2 (45:23):
All right, let's do one more. Oh. Donald Trump describes
LGBTQ people as sickos and a speech signaling his twenty
twenty four run.
Speaker 1 (45:35):
Uh.
Speaker 2 (45:35):
In a surreal speech where he made up stories about
trans women with thirty foot long arms, Donald Trump described
LGBTQ pill or a six so sickos who are pushing
sexual content in kindergartens. Y'all think it's may even been
a speech where he said something about Lebron He wants
Lebron James to dress up as a woman or become
trans so he could play on his basketball team somewhere. Shit.
(45:57):
And here's the thing. It goes back to that that great,
great episode of the podcast. I want to say that
Ezra Clin show, and they were talking a little bit
about Trump, and one of the things they said that
I was like, yes, that's it. They were like, it's not.
If you're looking for like some moral consistency or support
(46:20):
or even stances that people agree with, and that's the
reason why people support Trump. That's that's that's that's not
gonna work. But he picks the same enemies as the
people who support him, and as long as he sticks
to that, they don't care. And even for the hypocrisies
and all that stuff, as long as he's willing to
(46:41):
go hard and slam the people they want to see slammed.
He hates the Mexicans, he hates the Blacks. They love that,
and in this case Trump, who I don't. I think
in many ways Trump is it moral, but in a
lot of ways he is not committal to his immorality.
Speaker 1 (47:01):
Right, yeah, right, it don't. It don't matter whatever it
takes across because he feeds the food to the lions,
right because the second he stands in front and their boom,
he instantly changes.
Speaker 2 (47:11):
And I think with the Republican with him being out
of power, a big thing that Republicans had to run
on and throughout their races was hating gay people. It's like,
we don't have Trump anymore trans people, gay people. We're
just gonna pass as many bills as we can to
be anti LGBTQ. And now Trump is thinking about running again, obviously,
(47:33):
so suddenly he hate gay people and he wanted he
they're sick ohs and all the shit. Now, this is
the same dude that was in Hollywood, seemed to be
amongst the crowd, didn't seem to have any issues with
LGBTQ people as far as like out loud shit. People
even thought he was gonna dance with Caitlyn Jenner when
he got elected and shit like that. And so it's
(47:55):
interesting to watch this dude decide like, Okay, yeah, yeah,
gay people, that's why I hate and that signals like, yo,
he definitely gonna be running because because that's what they
these Republicans want him to say right now. So yeah, man,
I just I don't know how we can't let the
stuff be in office. We just can't let these people
(48:17):
keep winning.
Speaker 1 (48:17):
Because I'm like, keep fighting, don't give up. I know
it's hard. I know people are weary, I know people
are tired, I know people want shit done. Now, I
completely understand the frustration around everything that's going on. People
have lost their jobs, people fighting coronavirus, have had people
dive coronavirus. Like, it's a lot of shit that's been
that has been happening over the past few years. I
(48:38):
completely understand that, but keep fighting because none of this
it will be worth it if you lose all your
fucking rights, like all of the rights.
Speaker 2 (48:47):
I go on like, no, all of the rights.
Speaker 1 (48:50):
Yeah I didn't. I didn't go through all this just
so the Republicans can turn around and be like, you're
gonna have this baby, you don't got no right to vote. Well,
you know they gonna they're gonna fuck it with you now.
You know you can't go get a home. You know
we're gonna keep your kids done. We don't keep your wages.
People talk about wages dropping. You know, we don't keep
them wages low. We gonna you know, they purpose they're
(49:10):
gonna purposely make it where you have to take these
shitty ass jobs because there's not going to be anything
else right now. A lot of Republicans hate this because
now with the shortage of workers, you have to raise
pay because people are like, I don't I'm not I'm
not going. I'm not leaving the house. I'm not doing
this unless you pay me. But what they want, they
want wages to drop. They if they could, if they
(49:31):
could have us as slaves, they would. Basically they want
the laborer as cheap as possible.
Speaker 2 (49:37):
Meanwhile seeking the cheap. Have you seen, uh where Donald
Trump buried a lot of Trump apparently what he heard
it looks like on his golf course in a very
barren plot. Oh yeah, this is the picture.
Speaker 1 (49:56):
Oh Mara Laga one of them places he.
Speaker 2 (49:58):
Has Jersey, uh Trump National Golf Club. Oh yeah, man,
it's like a pauper's grave, no headstone or anything really like.
Speaker 1 (50:12):
So he didn't put it in a funeral hole and
not a funeral home, but you know, like a cemetery.
Speaker 2 (50:16):
No. And people are speculating this because of like taxes
and shit like the like. There's some some money stuff
involved to where it's cheaper for him to bury her
on his own golf course. Did she even have a service? Goddamn?
Speaker 1 (50:34):
Did he? They doesn't like put dick a hole and
put in now.
Speaker 4 (50:40):
I don't know, I would imagine, so, I don't know.
Speaker 1 (50:44):
It's terrible.
Speaker 2 (50:46):
Uh. Will Smith apologized on video for slapping Chris Rock.
Did you watch this? I haven't seen it.
Speaker 1 (50:53):
I heard about it, but I haven't seen it.
Speaker 2 (50:55):
Okay, yeah, it was a video call. It's been a minute.
I imagine, no matter what, people are gonna be upset with, Like,
there's some people that what he did is unforgivable and
there will never be anything that will ever make it
so that they would be willing to be like, okay, correct,
you know, so this apology is wasted on them obviously,
but it's not really about them anyway. But yeah, this
(51:18):
is this is the video. I'm not gonna play it out.
I think it's six minutes.
Speaker 7 (51:27):
M h.
Speaker 1 (51:30):
Uh.
Speaker 2 (51:30):
And the video it's been a minute. Over the last
few months, I've been doing a lot of work thinking
in personal work. You asked a lot of fair questions
that I wanted to take some time to answer, and
the he basically sits down and answers the questions. I
do appreciate that this wasn't on the Red Table talk
because I think people would have felt like it was
even more contrived and shit, he was gonna end up
(51:54):
saying something needed to be here, what is even happening?
Speaker 1 (52:04):
Just play in the background.
Speaker 2 (52:05):
Yeah, but yeah, so they're going he was gonna end
up having to say something at some point, of course,
and it was gonna end up looking something like this,
like it was either gonna look too casual if he
would have just looked in his phone and start talking
walking around his house or some ship, it's gonna look
too too much. We'll be made of if it's on
the Red Table Talk or some TV show. I think
(52:25):
this is a good kind of in between. But like
I said, some people don't.
Speaker 9 (52:29):
Why didn't you apologize to Chris in your acceptance speech.
I was fogged out by that point. It's it's it's
it's all fuzzy. I've reached out to Chris and the
mess the message that came back is that he's not
(52:52):
ready to talk, and when he is, he will reach out.
Speaker 2 (52:58):
That's fair, so I will.
Speaker 9 (53:01):
I will say to you, Chris, I apologize to you.
My behavior was unacceptable, and I'm here whenever you're ready
to talk. I want to apologize to Chris's mother. I
(53:26):
saw an interview that Chris's mother did.
Speaker 2 (53:29):
Oh yeah, he apologize to Chris's mother. And then Tony Rock,
who's Chris's brother, apparently him and Tony Rock used to
be like friends, so that was like a pretty big
thing that they he lost that relationship, and he said
it's probably irreparable, which if you listen to what Tony
Rocklan is saying, it probably is.
Speaker 9 (53:48):
You know, we had a great I get to the
next question replaying and understanding the nuances and the complexities
of what happened in that moment. And I'm not gonna
try to unpack all of that right now, but I
(54:09):
can say to all of you, there is no part
of me that thinks that was the right way to
behave in that moment. There's no part of me that
thinks that's the optimal way to handle a feeling of
(54:32):
disrespect or insults.
Speaker 2 (54:35):
Now, this is really important, this part one. A lot
of people defended the shit. It acted like that was
totally normal. It's no big deal. You know, we talked
about on the show many times. I talked about violence,
the relationship, the violence, how it feels like an easy answer,
how a lot of people root for it when they
(54:56):
don't know what the fuck they're talking about. R how
delusional it was to watch this man who was sobbing, crying,
completely seem extremely manic, extremely emotional, that whole night and
say that was fine, it was no big deal. He
didn't mean any like that's what Will Smith does. No,
(55:16):
it wasn't. It was out of character. He was out
of control. He's admitting as much. He's saying as much.
I think that's very important because he could have There's
another way this statement goes where he just hides behind
all the shit people gave him, all the excuses that
people made, and just goes, I didn't do nothing wrong.
You shouldn't be talking about my wife, man, I was
(55:37):
protecting black women.
Speaker 7 (55:38):
You know.
Speaker 2 (55:38):
He could have. He could have hid behind that shit,
and I would have lost a tremendous amount of respect
for any person that would hide behind that kind of shit.
Just because people are making excuse don't mean you gotta
live through it, right. So I thought that was interesting
that he brought that out because that was one of
the main things that I wanted to hear him say,
because I'm like, dude, that you was out of it
(56:00):
for a minute.
Speaker 9 (56:01):
You know, after Jada rolled her eyes, did she tell
you to do something. No, It's like, you know, I
made a choice on my own, from my own experiences,
from my history with Chris Jada had nothing to do with.
Speaker 1 (56:22):
It, right, And for me, I'm very glad he said
that part because I have been very, very very adamant
that there was two people. Everybody tried to act like
this was a three ring circus, and I was like, no, bitch,
this is not a three ring circus. This is two people.
And because it's one of those things where I get
sick and tired of everybody, and for a lot of people,
(56:44):
there was the way to take their hurt and their
paining and anger and a disappointment at Will and put
in putting on Jada in a low key way with
it without them actually coming out and saying, nobody wants
to say that shit now, nobody wants to apologize how
they ran that woman's name to the ground and called
all kind of bitches and whole and slepts and shit
like that and try to act like she put she
did not. This was two men that hadn't that that
(57:07):
did this. Will made a choice.
Speaker 2 (57:09):
Yeah, a lot of people that thought they were defending
will a Chris made it to be Jada's fault and
then called her out of her name. I still remember,
I think even been Tony Rock that was calling her
like a ball bitch and shit on stage, so like
it became about disrespecting her as a way of disrespecting him.
Another thing I forgot to mention. I love that he
said a feeling of disrespect.
Speaker 4 (57:31):
That's a very key.
Speaker 2 (57:32):
Phraseology there, because people are gonna say, oh, so he's
saying it's still Chris's fault because he felt he was disrespected. No,
he said a feeling of disrespect. You people feel disrespect
at all.
Speaker 4 (57:43):
Times, Yes, they do.
Speaker 2 (57:44):
It doesn't mean that's what happened, you know what I mean?
And it definitely doesn't mean that you have to react.
You can react however you want to out of that agreed.
Whether the disrespect was intended, whether it was unintended, whether
it's the history that made you feel like the disrespect.
Speaker 4 (57:59):
Was to a level whatever.
Speaker 2 (58:01):
I think that was important that he distinguished that it
was a feeling of disrespect, you know, not not necessarily
that was the reality of it, because this is essentially
those people on stage making jokes by the people in
the crowd, they quote unquote disrespect everybody eventually because they
that's what they do. You famous, I got a joke
about you, and then we present the next Award. You know,
(58:25):
I'm sorry, Dave.
Speaker 9 (58:28):
Let's say sorry to my kids and my family for
the heat that I brought on.
Speaker 10 (58:36):
All of us, right.
Speaker 1 (58:40):
Right, because a lot of people gloss over that. It's
like today they're anger and their sadness and their disappointment
over his actions rode to the rest of the family,
and so they had to deal with the fallout of
something that they had absolutely positively nothing to deal.
Speaker 2 (58:54):
They got mad at Jada for saying she hoped she
they're too great man, and she hopes they can work
it out. Like, yes, the fact that you're mad about
that is crazy to me, Yes, because that, like what
the fuck you wanted to say? I divorced Will today.
Fuck him? He's a piece of ship. Y'all were right,
Like she like, of course she's hoping they work it out.
I hope they don't work it out. Hope Chris dayman forever.
(59:16):
Like she didn't have she didn't do it.
Speaker 1 (59:19):
She didn't have to.
Speaker 2 (59:20):
Do it that ship. But the anger people have towards
them is just so fucking irrational sometimes, and now they
really do have a reason to be, you know, upset
with them, well with Will, but they're turning into it's
the it's them, you.
Speaker 9 (59:34):
Know, fellow nominees. You know, this is a community. It's
like I won.
Speaker 1 (59:40):
So yeah.
Speaker 2 (59:40):
He also brings up Questlove.
Speaker 1 (59:42):
And because he went right afterwards, right and it's disrespectful moment.
Speaker 9 (59:52):
I can still see quest Love's eyes. You know, it
happened on Questlove's award, and you know it's like, I'm
I'm sorry. Really isn't sufficient. What would you say to
(01:00:12):
the people who looked up to you before the slop
or people who expressed yeah.
Speaker 2 (01:00:18):
At that point, he basically goes on to say like
he's sorry, disappointed people, He's still got He's in the process,
still working through all this. He's not done. And he
helps people, you know, stick with him because hopefully at
the end of the process or they can be friends again.
By box.
Speaker 1 (01:00:35):
Yeah, and I my opinion about a lot of these
things didn't change. It's like other people who mat feel
the other way. Their opinion about it didn't change. And
it's one of those things.
Speaker 2 (01:00:46):
Well, one thing I think has to change. If you
were one of these people that was like, he didn't
do nothing wrong, he I think you have to allow
this is his truth. At this point. You have to
allow for a certain amount of Okay, I had him
bagged as a dude. He isn't right, he's anna protect her,
he's sad to slap that man.
Speaker 4 (01:01:09):
Words they say, words don't hurt.
Speaker 2 (01:01:11):
It's like, yo, just he says he shouldn't have did that.
That should be good enough for pretty much everybody on
that tip. Like you can stop defending it from like
this was not a big deal point or the white
man's out to destroy him or whatever the fuck right.
Speaker 1 (01:01:27):
And also it's one of the things to where you know,
when it comes to therapy and shit, this is a
lifelong process. Like I said, I've never been in therapy
for what I understand, it's a life long process.
Speaker 2 (01:01:38):
And so people he's in therapy.
Speaker 1 (01:01:40):
Therapy is not you you take one session and all
the problems that you've ever dealt with his fucking fix.
It's not how therapy works, y'all. It's something that's continually.
You're continually learning to grow, You're continually learning how to
be a better person. They continually equipping you and giving
you the tools. It you know, therapy didn't say you
wasn't gonna fuck up therapy. It didn't say you now
you might have an off day and get it wrong.
(01:02:02):
That's not what therapy says. And it's one of those
things where I will continue to say this. A lot
of people projected and they're still projecting, and a lot
of people, in my opinion, have a lot of unforgiveness
and anger in their heart at certain people around them
in their own every day to day life, and this
was a way for them to get that anger and
(01:02:22):
frustration out on the Internet, which had absolutely sometimes I
think it was a disconnect for some people didn't have
anything to do with Will. I'm mad, I'm pissed, somebody
did me wrong, So this is the time to get
all this animosity I have and project on wine. So
when Will does this all of a sudden, guess what
that means? You got to let it go. So for
a lot of them, they're not trying to let it
go because if I let it go, that means I
(01:02:43):
have to That means the power of this anger I
have to release it, and I'm not willing to release Well,
I'm not in a place where I can release my
anger towards the person that this anger needs to actually
be targeted towards. So I'm going to continue to quote
unquote falsely be mad on his behalf when he is
basically telling you something directly opposite of what you're holding
on to.
Speaker 6 (01:03:04):
Uh.
Speaker 2 (01:03:04):
The writer who said his wife wasn't the most intelligent
or beautiful stands on his statements. Nobody is getting an apology, said,
I ain't. Will Smith, Okay, he don't know it to us. Yeah,
he don't. And if she don't feel offended by it,
that's their business. You know what I don't he like
if that's what they love, is that's they love.
Speaker 8 (01:03:26):
Man.
Speaker 2 (01:03:28):
So yeah, he put Uh where is that? Uh, I'm
trying to find an exact quote.
Speaker 6 (01:03:41):
Uh.
Speaker 2 (01:03:41):
Yeah, nobody's getting an apology. He wrote on Tuesday, it's
actually bold to assume that our owe strangers an apology
for what was written to my woman. You did put it.
Speaker 1 (01:03:50):
On a so you know, you know, you ain't got
to apologize or people got the right to say and
feel however they want to feel about it because you
put it on the public.
Speaker 2 (01:03:59):
People do this a lot with social media, where they
go it's not your business, but I'm telling you my business,
and it's like.
Speaker 1 (01:04:05):
That, I don't want on none of y'all opinions about
my b.
Speaker 2 (01:04:07):
I'm not sure everybody understands the fallacy of that, and
it took me. It took me a long time to
get it, you know, because uh, you know, being alive
long enough to see. Like when the Internet started, it
went from oh, a select few people are seeing what
I'm saying correct to oh, everybody can see this. But
once you have that realization, that's it. Like there's no
(01:04:29):
there's no going back, there's no controlling it. There's a
lot of opinions I just don't express anymore aline because
I literally just don't. I'm not fielding opinions and I
don't want a discussion about my opinion. I feel a
certain way to even say it invites discussion In a
lot of times, yes, it does so unless you find
a platform that allows you to like limit their interaction.
(01:04:49):
And even then there's still ways you can screenshot, you
can do much of stuff. You can't control it once
it's out, so you might as well not even say
it unless you are rock solid sure and I'm saying
this and I don't give a.
Speaker 1 (01:05:00):
Fuck, right, and once you put it out there, you
can mute it now and be like, I'm not arguing
with you. I said what I said, which is, did
you have the right to feel that way too, But
you can't turn around to get mad and upset that
people for responding to something that you put on the
public platform.
Speaker 2 (01:05:14):
And it looks like his fiance has a podcast, so
maybe she's gonna talk about it on her podcast. So
maybe it's all just kind of an ad for the podcast, maybe,
I guess. So she had posted that, you know, I'm
(01:05:35):
still taking some time to process everything that's happening, but
I'll give my take on her podcast next episode on Friday.
So yeah, we'll see, yeah, we will, we will. Saja
continue to be news. Hopefully he don't get your caught
cheating like Neil. Oh no, yeah, it was bad. A
(01:06:01):
wild argument broke off over zoom court. A Michigan woman
is suing a man for ten thousand dollars for falling
the short to a for a date.
Speaker 1 (01:06:14):
We're gonna pay the clip.
Speaker 2 (01:06:16):
Claiming he deliberately and intentionally hurt her, and then she
got into a furious screaming match with a judge over zoom.
And you know it's not guess the race because Karen
already side a clip but black, you know, got talking
about cars. But yes, now I'm looking here. So this
(01:06:41):
is zoom court. First of all, this judge, I'm already
looking at his desk, and unfortunately it's not it makes
the screen kind of blank. But I'm looking at his desk,
and uh, this is a judge that's already too busy
for this.
Speaker 1 (01:06:55):
Ship come on, papers everywhere. He ain't got time for this.
Speaker 2 (01:06:58):
He ain't got time for this. And also you can't
see it in the shadow replayed a little bit. But
the brother who is being sued, he got his head
on top of his head, forehead already like like, oh
Lord Jesus, just help me get this over with.
Speaker 1 (01:07:13):
And she ain't even in the state of place, sound
like she moving around at the bus.
Speaker 4 (01:07:16):
Yeah, we're watching the back of her head right now.
Speaker 2 (01:07:18):
I'm looking here. You know what of emotional distress?
Speaker 5 (01:07:24):
Yes?
Speaker 2 (01:07:24):
Is that the quin?
Speaker 11 (01:07:26):
Yes it is.
Speaker 2 (01:07:28):
I mean it feels like a skit. Her name miss,
So you can put your own name in zoom right.
Speaker 4 (01:07:35):
So the judges Tennessee sixty.
Speaker 2 (01:07:37):
Seven, District Room one, District one, Room one or District
Room one. The guy's name is like something Jordan like,
it's his name. Her name is miss Coushante hassamola short
brandage like it's the miss is the party.
Speaker 1 (01:07:54):
City, stepping on your mom and them.
Speaker 4 (01:07:58):
I'm not talking about her.
Speaker 1 (01:08:00):
Show her name, no, no, no no, but the fact
that you put.
Speaker 2 (01:08:03):
That missed before on your own zoom like I've never
put mister. You know what I'm saying, mister Rod, that
is so funny. That's not something that's really just in court?
I'm sorry?
Speaker 12 (01:08:16):
What he I can't hear you?
Speaker 2 (01:08:19):
I said, I've never seen that part. Did you see
the brother? He said, yes, I got it, Like like
you know what that is? That is an exasperated man
that's been dealing with this woman and her crazy ass.
The man and he's just hoping he don't get a
bullshit judge.
Speaker 4 (01:08:38):
He's just hoping somebody else with some common senses.
Speaker 2 (01:08:43):
Will be like, you can't do what you're trying to do. Man,
I'm sorry, what do he?
Speaker 12 (01:08:48):
I can't hear you?
Speaker 2 (01:08:51):
I said, in just your court.
Speaker 8 (01:08:56):
That has to be broaden circuit court.
Speaker 2 (01:09:03):
To be honest with you, sir, I thought this was
just going to be thrown out. It was.
Speaker 5 (01:09:08):
We had a date, one date, and nothing else after that,
and now I'm being sued for ten thousand dollars.
Speaker 2 (01:09:15):
It was I don't see how this is going to
go any further. I think it's a waste of your
time a letter.
Speaker 12 (01:09:23):
In that letter, he lied, and then that's what brought
forth the perjury. It was never perjury in the beginning.
Speaker 1 (01:09:31):
It was keep in mind, perjury has a specific meaning.
Speaker 12 (01:09:37):
I think the judge actually explained perjury after his response.
Speaker 2 (01:09:43):
Well, you can't you can't say listen, he has a
right to put whatever is in the answer.
Speaker 12 (01:09:51):
I'm not saying you can't do you can't.
Speaker 2 (01:09:54):
Add another count because you don't like or you disagree
with what is in his answer.
Speaker 12 (01:10:00):
If he responds and his response is a lie, it's perjury,
then my documents were proved that you.
Speaker 2 (01:10:08):
No, no, no, this judge he wanted that pen, this
judge so bad. He can only say no, like he
like there's other words that need to come after this,
and it's like he can't even start the sentence because
he's just revving up that note.
Speaker 1 (01:10:25):
Like it was like he was like, I'm went to
school for this. No no with you not no ma'am no, ma'am.
Speaker 11 (01:10:31):
No, no, no no, it's since version.
Speaker 2 (01:10:37):
First of all, do you understand.
Speaker 1 (01:10:38):
What perjury is yes, I.
Speaker 3 (01:10:42):
Know.
Speaker 2 (01:10:43):
Is a statement a false statement made under oh, a
false statement made under oath. I'll see her was false
statement and was like.
Speaker 1 (01:10:54):
Exactly no under oath, under oath, like that's a complete thing.
Speaker 2 (01:11:00):
Her glasses got some type of design on the side
of them, which, uh, there is that kind of glasses
of somebody that be doing too much under oh.
Speaker 1 (01:11:10):
So he was lying.
Speaker 2 (01:11:15):
He it's a fault. Now the judge is gone. He
is now turned towards the camera for the first time.
Speaker 1 (01:11:22):
And I took his face shield off. He had a
face shield off.
Speaker 2 (01:11:25):
He took off his COVID face ship should have made
the judge pop that pin, put it down, take the
face shield. He is risking the rona to correct this
woman like, no, ma'am under oath, what you missing on
OAF piece testified something that he lied about. Richard is
(01:11:48):
smiling at the top of the screen. He's looking like, finally,
now you see what I've been dealing with, your honor
under roll bottom line.
Speaker 12 (01:11:58):
As you said, it's a priminal offensil ascended to circuit court.
Speaker 1 (01:12:01):
Are we done here?
Speaker 2 (01:12:04):
Are we done it? To the judge? That is why
they don't have court in person no more.
Speaker 1 (01:12:08):
Yeah, because she should have did this in court.
Speaker 2 (01:12:11):
Until you're going to jail, you're going.
Speaker 1 (01:12:14):
Right, he did did this too. I think she was
frogged because they wouldn't face to face to face.
Speaker 2 (01:12:20):
Yeah, that the way he talking.
Speaker 1 (01:12:21):
He'd have been like, if you don't get out my face.
Speaker 2 (01:12:23):
She walking through the damn mall or wherever she at,
loud head food, court, face, no headphones in, I know, right,
like just a complete suit you for ten thousand dollars
vibe about her. Oh no, you don't understand, Ma'm you
don't here.
Speaker 1 (01:12:41):
Are we done here?
Speaker 2 (01:12:42):
Perjury? Here is exactly what dream means. Are we do not?
What statement?
Speaker 4 (01:12:56):
I don't see anything in the complaint that says he made.
Speaker 2 (01:12:59):
Some false She like, honestly she is. She watched like
two episodes of Law and Order SVU come on and
was like, I'm gonna go to court. I'm gonna win.
I'm gonna just yell at him till he give me
my way. Yep.
Speaker 1 (01:13:11):
But that's that's not how this ship works, because you
don't know what happened.
Speaker 12 (01:13:16):
You're on the outside looking in.
Speaker 2 (01:13:18):
I'm the goddamn judge.
Speaker 4 (01:13:20):
Put me on the inside.
Speaker 1 (01:13:22):
This was the whole point of the whole purpose of instance,
for you to explain to me, you don't understand, you
don't know anything. You are here, you have here, are
we done?
Speaker 5 (01:13:36):
Here?
Speaker 3 (01:13:37):
Are we done?
Speaker 1 (01:13:38):
Here?
Speaker 2 (01:13:41):
You have?
Speaker 8 (01:13:43):
What?
Speaker 2 (01:13:43):
It's not about your intelligence? One anyone that brings up
there intelligence in that way is almost one thousand said
gonna always be stupid, right anytimes?
Speaker 4 (01:13:54):
Don't bringing intelligence out of nowhere.
Speaker 2 (01:13:56):
You're like, oh, excuse, what is happening. It's like the
insecurity leaped out. It's like, I'm looking to sound as stupid. Uh,
it's my You don't understand my intelligence. Clearly you have.
Speaker 1 (01:14:12):
You have toway your complaint.
Speaker 2 (01:14:18):
You have to honestly, I'm questioning him, like the dude,
I don't want to blame the victim, but you wanted
to go on a date with her, right and something?
Speaker 1 (01:14:26):
He didn't go. He didn't go for a reason, so
he actually he's slow. Yeah, yeah, he didn't go, and
so she got mad.
Speaker 2 (01:14:31):
He looked on her TikTok and was like, oh no,
I bet you.
Speaker 1 (01:14:34):
He asked around and somebody was like that she's crazy
and you okay, And so he opted not to go.
So he's actually smart. She's the one to sue because
he didn't show up.
Speaker 2 (01:14:46):
You have and.
Speaker 4 (01:14:54):
Why why didn't we get the end?
Speaker 2 (01:14:56):
Did the whole courtroom cut off?
Speaker 7 (01:14:58):
Yeah?
Speaker 1 (01:14:59):
Because this, Yes, the other clip was longer, wasn't it.
Speaker 4 (01:15:01):
Yeah?
Speaker 2 (01:15:02):
Oh no, I don't think it was longer. This is
all I've ever seen.
Speaker 4 (01:15:04):
Okay, and this is our glasses.
Speaker 2 (01:15:06):
By the way, these are do too much glasses, right,
that's the person that want to fight.
Speaker 1 (01:15:10):
Because I thought on the other clip. The judge also
charged her and was like, what you're gonna do since
since since, since you want to keep this going, I'm
going to actually make you pay for his costs and
your calls, Like you're gonna cover all the costs.
Speaker 2 (01:15:24):
I haven't seen that clip.
Speaker 1 (01:15:25):
And uh, if you want to push this own, you can't.
I think he gave her so many days to pay.
It was like if she doesn't pay, it'll get dismissed.
Speaker 2 (01:15:34):
Hmmm, okay, let me see. Uh, yeah, it does it.
So they have the transcript, but they don't have the
full They don't have the actual the clip from the transcript.
Speaker 1 (01:15:48):
Okay, let's see because she's been nasty and mean and
he was like, oh.
Speaker 2 (01:15:56):
This says well, ma'am, it should not have been fouled
in the district court if you had one intention on
affliction of a musclem distress. Are we done here? Okay,
so that's a criminal offense. Are you going, Marrible?
Speaker 4 (01:16:07):
Are you going to dismiss it and refiling the circuit court?
Speaker 2 (01:16:09):
Short? No, I'm not. I'm not going to dismiss it.
I will file another case in circuit, ma'am. You can't
have two cases going on the same issue. Well, I'm
not dismissing the case. If you want to dismiss it,
that's up to you. But as an eye, as a plaintiff,
I'm not dismissing discussing the case, Marrible. Addressing Jordan, he
(01:16:30):
has to make a proper motion. Short, Well, that's on him, Marrible.
But I can also transfer to venue to circuit court. Short. Yes,
that's what I thought, because there were the other cases
that should have been transferred somewhere else. So that's okay, Mirrible. Okay,
I'm going to do that to another woman in the
court room. Give me the four ma'am. What about this?
His costs associated would appear because you filed in the
(01:16:51):
wrong court. Sure, I need to see because I was
not aware since you said perjury was.
Speaker 4 (01:16:56):
Not on there.
Speaker 2 (01:16:57):
I was not aware that a criminal offense for intentional
affliction emotional stress was considered a criminal offense. Marrible. That
is not what I said. That is not what I said.
Sure it is, Mirrible. No, No, I didn't you said that.
I said that you stated in fiction intentional infliction of
emotional stress to considered criminal offense, and you stated the
perjury was a criminal offense. But you also stated that
(01:17:17):
perjury was not in the docket I placed before you, Marrible,
is not in the complaint, Shorty, I mean, short, I
need you to show I need you to show me
the document which states that intentionalffliction of emotional stresses indeed
and in fact a criminal offense, because that's the original
original offense that was placed on thererrib I never said that.
I never said that, short Yes you did, Rrible, ma'am listen,
(01:17:40):
I'm not gonna sit here go back and forth with you.
I'm gonna repeat what I said. You need to be
quiet when I'm talking to you. Can you mute her?
She's gotta be muted. She gets muted. I have to
continue complaining, Mirrible, what I said was intentional infliction of
emotional distress is something that the court circuit court has
jurisdiction over.
Speaker 4 (01:17:58):
I never characterized that as a criminal matter.
Speaker 2 (01:18:00):
It is definitely a civil claim, but it is something
that can't be done in district court. Now, that's what
I said to you. You are of the mistaken belief
that circuit court does not hear civil matters because you said, well,
I thought civil court only did criminal You are the
one mistaken and about the jurisdiction of the circuit court
because that's what you stated on the record. Unmute her.
(01:18:21):
The beato explains that both parties have to unmute on
zoom for her to be unmuted, and that short has
to has been asked to unmute marrable. I'm ordering that
this go to Seventh Circuit Court. Venue is to be
changed because intentional affliction of emotional distress is a circuit
court matter outside the jurisdiction of district court. Plaintiffs shall
pay the filing fees and the receiving court. And I
(01:18:43):
don't know if you ask for a jury trial or not.
You did not, so there was no jury fee. No
further proceedings shall be had at the transfer in to
a cost or expensive have been paid. If not paid
within fifty six days or the day of disordered, this
will be dismissed by the court, which is to which
it was transferred. Yeah, it's gonna ge dismissed. She's not paying. No,
she's not, Oh my god. Yeah.
Speaker 1 (01:19:06):
And and and the one we heard had all that
in it. Yeah, that's why I said, I thought this
would cut it short.
Speaker 2 (01:19:10):
Yeah, my goodness. Yeah.
Speaker 1 (01:19:12):
He was like, uh and the scene you know what
brabo like a school. Yeah, I'm glad of that because
it's also one of those things too, to where I
(01:19:32):
think the judge got mad because she kept yelling over
him waste his time, and was like, you know what,
since you found us in the wrong court, what I'm
gonna do. I'm gonna make you cover your costs, cover
his costs. You got fifty six days to pay for it.
Speaker 2 (01:19:45):
And she's talking all over everybody.
Speaker 1 (01:19:47):
Right, And so that that's kind of his way to
see if she's serious about it, because this thing was like, hey,
you got fifty six days to pay, and if you
don't pay, it's gonna get dismissed.
Speaker 2 (01:19:56):
And you don't know what you're talking about.
Speaker 1 (01:19:58):
Right, don't know what perjury is? The average person don't
know what perjury is.
Speaker 2 (01:20:03):
Like the part of me I don't want to victim
blame a part of me. I have to because if
I'm not mistaken, this woman is from Detroit, so like
he should have known for like it's not all on him,
but like some of it's on him. A group of
Republicans and Democrats form new political party to appeal to moderates.
(01:20:26):
Do you know what what?
Speaker 1 (01:20:28):
Oh circule, I'll let you finish the story.
Speaker 2 (01:20:30):
Go ahead, okay, I mean I was a group of
former Republicans and Democratic officials are forming a new political
party called Ford, an attempt to appeal to what they
call moderate common sense majority. Political extremism is ripping our
nation to party. Two major parties have failed to remedy
the crisis, said David Jolly, Christine Todd Whitman, and Andrew
(01:20:50):
Yang in the Washington Post op ed published Wednesday. Today's
outdated parties have failed by catering to the fringes. As
a result, most Americans feel they aren't represented.
Speaker 1 (01:21:02):
Yeah, this is one of these things that really makes
me upset with people. We have a two party system
and everybody goes, what about a third party? But there
y'all need some ground roots effort that y'all not gonna do.
I won't see y'all winning dog catcher, winning some of
these local seats across the country. Just president right right right,
(01:21:22):
because everybody won't go straight for president. No, but that's
not how this works. Like I want to see I
want to see the movement. Like you know, y'all don't
do shit. Y'all want to show up and and a
fuck up and split the vote when it comes goddamn
election time. Don't do that bullshit.
Speaker 4 (01:21:36):
Yeah, I call this the who all gonna be that party?
Speaker 5 (01:21:38):
Right?
Speaker 2 (01:21:40):
Because I'm not signing up for this shit. No, the
thing and this is what happens. This is my favorite
thing about American politics.
Speaker 4 (01:21:49):
People always get mad about.
Speaker 2 (01:21:50):
The binary choices and we should have thirteen parties. I
hear what you're saying, but in general I don't find
that we need thirteen parties or whatever. The fuck. I
kind of do think the system of two parties is good.
Motherfucker should just be voting democrat. I don't understand why
(01:22:10):
this is hard, Like what is the problem, Like, what
is the thing democrats are on that you are Like, absolutely,
that would not be good for anybody, you know what
I mean, Like I get the whole, Like you would
like them to be more to the left. Well, that's
not what this new party's gonna be, just representing moderates
(01:22:31):
and the Green Party, who claims to represent.
Speaker 1 (01:22:33):
More to the left.
Speaker 2 (01:22:34):
If you look at any of the policies, you'll find
out quickly not that much more to the left, if
at all, And a lot of it's just posturing. And
they don't do any work underneath president. Nope, you know,
very little work. I shouldn't say any because one of
you sticklers is gonna write in, uh, we had a
don't catcher in Missouri. Well you know what I mean, Nigga,
they don't run a lot of offices, and they don't
(01:22:55):
win a lot.
Speaker 1 (01:22:56):
Nobody's school board.
Speaker 2 (01:22:57):
No don't.
Speaker 8 (01:22:58):
Yeah.
Speaker 2 (01:22:59):
So yeah, I think this moderate thing is interesting just
because I don't know that that there's people that are
truly longing for moderate I don't think there's a moderate majority.
I think people want to believe there's a moderate majority.
But at the same time, I don't think there's a
(01:23:19):
super leftist liberal majority either. I think, uh, there's a
lot of people who you can run a pole and
they'll be like, oh, yeah, I'm cool with this, but
when they get out their house to vote, not the
same as that that's seeing in Pole or whatever. So yeah,
I just it's interesting. And then the people that had
it andrew Yang fuck out of here, right, fuck out
(01:23:39):
of here. He's like, I half a Republican anyway, Like
what a what a thirsty motherfucker he turned out to
be goddamn right.
Speaker 1 (01:23:47):
And then you have, you know, the people over the
Green Party shit like that, that bitch came out and
took all y'all money and fucking ran talk about you,
right Yan, and never heard from that bitch, no mo never,
never again. She need to pop up this time and
they run again. So it's like, I don't want to
see y'all every four years, like if y'all ready about that.
Speaker 2 (01:24:03):
Work, being about that work. She fucked with Russia too,
so like she was always whack. But yeah, just in general, man,
I think obviously people would love like I think people
keep looking for solutions the problem that is a very
human problem, a very individual problem. We keep looking for
these party solutions and these big American government solutions, and
(01:24:25):
we have a very specific individual problem, which is there's
a lot of people that just want the Republican shit
and they don't care. They like the hatred, they like
the bigotry. The party's been reduced to that because they
don't pass policy anymore. They don't have any big new ideas.
It's all just how do we stop Democrats from having
progress in America? And if you can't simplify it enough
(01:24:48):
to be like, well, obviously I need to be voting
for some fucking Democrats just a better, You're just a
dumb ass. I watched I watched what did I watch?
Ten minutes of Lester Holt today? I think this name
is Lester Holt or MSNBC. And the only reason I
watched it is because it was a brief interview with
(01:25:11):
young black voters, three of them, and it was so
good because you know, what we see on Twitter and
stuff is.
Speaker 4 (01:25:19):
Not really a representation of a lot of people.
Speaker 2 (01:25:21):
Keep in mind, like, no office of these young black voters,
because I was a young black voter, but there's not
enough of them to really justify like writing policy for
young black people in the way that it's always implied
in these segments and on TV. It's like, well, obviously,
if you write the policy, young black voters will come
out and they'll just do you know, young black people
do vote, they but they won't vote at their high
(01:25:44):
rate that like older black people vote.
Speaker 4 (01:25:46):
It's just right, it's the math.
Speaker 2 (01:25:47):
There's nothing. I wasn't offending when I was a young
black voter, and I'm not offended now as a middle
aged Black voter. But my point being, these kids were
so smart and pragmatic and sad like they were like
all like two of them was like, I don't really
bang with Joe Biden, but obviously better than Trump. I
would never vote for Trump. You know, one of them did,
(01:26:09):
Bomona like, I'm tired of voting for the lesser two evils.
I'm sorry to tell you this, child, but you're about
to be doing that your whole motherfucking life. It don't
matter how old you get, it don't matter what candidate
they run. Like she was like, we I would like
a younger candidate. Dog, if it's a young person, it's
still gonna be voting for the less two evils because
it's America. America is an evil empire and the best
(01:26:30):
you can do at the top is harm reduction. You'll
never get it right, that being said, they all were like, yeah,
I'm gonna vote, and I'm gonna vote Biden. If it's Trump,
could we use somebody other than buying? Sure? Why not?
Speaker 4 (01:26:42):
Like it's not And I'm like that's what everybody thinks,
you know.
Speaker 2 (01:26:46):
What I'm saying, Like, that's not a young person thing,
that's not a white person. That's like a kind of like,
that's just a politics thing. You're not going to pick
your best friend. You're going to pick who of the
people that are valuable to run it, who would you
like to see run it? More right?
Speaker 1 (01:27:03):
And it's also one of those things you have primaries
for a reason.
Speaker 2 (01:27:07):
So yeah, but people rarely primary a incumbent president. True,
so so you might not see Joe Biden get primary.
This is all but the point being there was like, yeah,
if that don't happen, then we vote for Joe Biden,
Like I don't have to like him or love him
to know he's better.
Speaker 4 (01:27:26):
And they weren't getting caught up.
Speaker 2 (01:27:27):
It was we've come so such a long way in
these six years, because six years ago, these same like
type of kids would have been fooled by the like
super Predator and Russian propaganda that none of them were.
They were like, no, I'm not playing with my vote.
I'm not abstaining from voting. It's not a game to me.
Speaker 4 (01:27:48):
I'm going to vote and this is important, right.
Speaker 1 (01:27:51):
And the rest of a primary, not not this time
because ours are nobody run, but but when they win,
it was fucking wide open. That's why you That's why
I said, that's why you primary, because if people had
this big of a problem, get your ass out there
and beat you. You should have beat Joe Biden din.
Speaker 2 (01:28:05):
Right, But anyway, Beyonce's new album Renaissance is set to
dominate the charts in his first week of sales as
a singer. Teas's latest release as a three act project,
Come on, three Acts.
Speaker 4 (01:28:18):
Yeah. It's interesting because on her website she.
Speaker 2 (01:28:21):
Put that it was part of a three act project
that she's been working on for the three years in
the pandemic and it's the number one stream and the
new projections. The album is set the security place among
the top selling albums of twenty twenty two. Harry Styles
third studio album, Harry's House, currently holds the record for
best opening weekend week of the year. Prior to his release,
(01:28:44):
Kendrick la Marsman from Around the Hot Steppers earned the
top spot, so she's I guess prime to beat both
of them, and people seem to be expected more new
music to kazoo.
Speaker 1 (01:28:58):
Oh, let's go this be the mos beonce we donet
got back to back.
Speaker 2 (01:29:02):
This three act project was recorded over three years, during
the pandemic time to be still, but also a time
I found to be the most creative. I wonder what
that means three act project like two more albums? Could
want to act be a video because you know she
normally does like a video thing, she said. Creating this
(01:29:24):
album allowed me a place to dreaming, to find escape
during the scary time for the world. It allowed me
to feel free and adventures in a time when little
Els was moving. My attention was to create a safe place,
a place without judgment, a place to be free of
perfectionism and overthinking, a place to screen release, feel freedom.
It was a beautiful journey of exploration. She then expressed
just how thankful she is for her three children and
her muse jay Z and supported her throughout the creative process.
(01:29:49):
I want to give a special thanks to Rumy certain
Bleu for allowing me to space creativity inspiration and the
special thanks my beautiful husband and muse who held me
down during those late nights in the studio. She did
thank that uncle Johnny, who was gay and tragically passed
away from complications related to a HIV diagnosis, for introducing
her to the musicians and coaches that continue to inspire her. Yeah,
(01:30:12):
it's interesting too, because this album does feel like a
love letter to a lot of LGBTQ people, especially black people,
and which is one of the reasons I think you're
seeing such unadulterated support of the album because you know
of the criticisms of her old work, which I've found
a lot of them to be somewhat almost unreasonable sometimes
(01:30:38):
like it will like it was like it would be like,
You're this artist that needs to represent us all all
the time. Your work needs to be like on the
same level of quote quote unquote to everyone else. So
if I'm a womanist, you need to put a woman's
album out, not a feminist album. If I'm a socialist,
you need to put a socialist album out, not a capitalist.
(01:30:59):
So she's always kind of reforming and rebuilding herself, and
this album, like I said, has so many like influences
and so many shout outs to uh LGBTQ people who
have been supporting her from a long time. So like
to see like an album that just I see you,
(01:31:21):
I'm celebrating you, I'm dancing with you, I want you
to dance with me. That is dope, And it was like,
I think that's why you're not seeing a lot of
people like shitting on the album anyway, not not just
I mean it's also good in my opinion, got Raphael's
a deep producing the show. I mean, it's it's fucking
uh it's and it's hot energy, it's you know, you
can dance to it, you can fucking work out to.
Speaker 1 (01:31:42):
It, and transitions for you know, you're done through it
and you feel like you're playing one long ass song, right.
Speaker 2 (01:31:49):
So yeah, so I think that's one of the reasons
you're not you're seeing that. But I also think it's
bold and dope. You know. I remember people getting on
her about including uh, was it seven eleven or was
it seven eleven? Well, big Freedo. I remember people were like,
(01:32:09):
Big FRIEDA wasn't in the video and this is disrespectful.
You used Big Frieda's voice for not and then Big
FRIEDA came out. I was like, I had other obligations.
I couldn't have done the video. It wasn't that she
did want me in it. Blah blah blah. But you know,
people immediately assume the worst. This is one of the
first times I've seen so many people not assume the worst.
Like you do have your contrarians that don't like her,
(01:32:31):
or just that always gonna say something negative, or you know,
just people that's not feeling it because they not feeling it,
Like everybody's not gonna feel everything that come out all
the time. But there's been a ton of support for
this album and not a lot of ain't nobody trying
to hear them critiques right now?
Speaker 1 (01:32:49):
Like people do. People were like, Okay, we don't care,
we don't You actually didn't need to say anything, Like
I've been saying a lot of that when people been
making people it coming out, you know, and talking about
it and not giving it glory. Okay, like we actually
don't care.
Speaker 2 (01:33:03):
Which I do find ironic and funny as hell, because
literally it's a circle the people that shipped on that Drake,
a lot of people, a lot of people that don't
even like Drake and d that don't even like Drake
and don't listen to his music, listen to this album
to specifically shipped on that album just and then they like,
but when somebody is enjoying something, why do you have
(01:33:25):
to say anything. It's like when people was enjoying that Drake,
you didn't care.
Speaker 1 (01:33:28):
You know, you didn't care. You went on there. It
was like Drake's up.
Speaker 2 (01:33:30):
Yeah, that was a completely differ.
Speaker 1 (01:33:33):
That's hilarious. That's so people being people.
Speaker 2 (01:33:35):
Yeah, that's why, oh man, the beauty of hypocrisy if
you all could understand. Oh, but that's just how my
mind works. I saw that ship. I was like, look
at these niggas. I could google, I could search everybody's
Facebook and Twitter feed for what two three weeks ago,
and y'all definitely said the most slanderous shit about Drake
(01:33:57):
was about it.
Speaker 1 (01:33:59):
Yeah, people was like that have them subs.
Speaker 2 (01:34:03):
Came out? Just let people enjoy things.
Speaker 4 (01:34:07):
Come on, you can't laugh at yourself, you can't laugh.
Speaker 2 (01:34:11):
But yeah, man, I thought I did not realize it
was it could be three parts, So who knows what's
gonna happen next?
Speaker 1 (01:34:21):
Yeah, who knows? All, like I say, is get your
money ready, girls, because trust after that third will come out.
Guarantee you it's some some kind of concert that she
probably ain't already fucking secretly filmed the concerts and ship.
We're gonna get something. Yeah, you're going on towards something.
Speaker 2 (01:34:41):
Yeah, I wouldn't be shocked any of that stuff. All right,
let's get to some guests to rights. We've kind of
been going for a while here, so you know, do
a little guest the race.
Speaker 10 (01:35:01):
It's tad to catch the race. It's tied to catch
the race. It's time to catch the race. It's time
to catch the race.
Speaker 2 (01:35:12):
All right, guess the race. Time time to glow, go
around the glow, find different articles and guess the race
of the people involved. Today's contestants, everybody, all right, let's
see what we got here.
Speaker 8 (01:35:24):
Uh.
Speaker 2 (01:35:25):
And it's an aspiring surgeon performed in the legal castration
on a man in the remote Oklahoma cabin last year
and he's now being sent USD to twelve years in
prison in the cabin.
Speaker 1 (01:35:36):
What is this, Davy Crockett? The fuck is this? Why
don't you in the hospital?
Speaker 2 (01:35:41):
This bight on this piece of wood, right, take a
swig of this this whiskey and then I'm gonna catch
the balls.
Speaker 1 (01:35:48):
What they call that game, the trail game trail. Yes,
somebody gonna get dysenterian down.
Speaker 2 (01:35:54):
What is this? Bob Lee Allen fifty four at his
husband Thomas Evan Gates the third were charged in twenty
twenty for castraight in the victim, a twenty eight year
old volunteer who had got in touch with Allen on
the costration forum enuckmaker, nuckmaker, it's a form right the now.
The front form was purportedly for people wanting castration services
(01:36:16):
from unlicensed cutters.
Speaker 1 (01:36:20):
Who unlicensed My nigga, No.
Speaker 4 (01:36:23):
Some shit, you need a license for everything.
Speaker 1 (01:36:26):
Can't be Walmart prices. I'm sorry to tell y'all everything
can't be by one get one free off your surgeries. No.
Speaker 2 (01:36:33):
This reminds me of that line on Dad Preis Dad
Praiers album where they said just because I didn't go
to school, don't me and I can't be a doctor
or lawyer. And I'm like, did do they actually did?
I'm sorry, yes, not representing my black ass and know
you ain't. Nope.
Speaker 3 (01:36:50):
Uh.
Speaker 2 (01:36:51):
Last October, the victim, who was not named, flew from
Virginia to Dallas and was picked up and take it
to the couple secluded cabin. This sounds like the beginning
of a horror movie. Upon arrival, the man recalled Alan
had performed a surgery on a pullly assemble table inside
the not a pullly assemble table, and you still lay
what he got? He got done.
Speaker 1 (01:37:10):
I can't set up down.
Speaker 2 (01:37:11):
She was like, you know what, I trust you bring
out the middle piece for the table I'm gonna need.
We're gonna need to stretch it all the way out.
He added that Gates was complicit during the legal surgery
because he handed over surgical equipment where Alan asked for
certain tubs, scalpel foursheps fors, how cong how come? Butter knife?
(01:37:34):
Butter knife?
Speaker 1 (01:37:35):
Butter knife? That's where you start asking questions. Button life,
That's where you tr to line.
Speaker 2 (01:37:39):
USB, dongle, What are you doing to my balls? Don't
worry about it. Say I'm gonna need some uh some
some masking tape. The victim was not sedated. What oh no,
(01:38:00):
You're gonna absolutely have to sedate me, bro, Like you
can't be working on me like the game operation are
your kitchen table and I'm just all the way cognizant
of what's happening.
Speaker 1 (01:38:11):
I was right about the organ trail.
Speaker 2 (01:38:12):
That's what they was doing out there. It was the
organ trail, but instead they injected I guess they injected
numbing agents into the needed areas. He also said that
after the surgery, he heard Allan say he was going
to eat the removed body parts while laughing.
Speaker 1 (01:38:34):
What you're gonna have with a side of egg?
Speaker 2 (01:38:39):
I don't get what is happening here. I mean he
had some waive os. I mean, I wouldn't want my
surgeon laughing about that. At the regular hospital. Investigators who
searched the cabin found some body parts in the plastic
bag in a deep freezer, so he may have been
playing on eating them. He's like, I'm gonna say this
(01:39:01):
for a stud The pair were arrested three days after
surgery in October fifteenth when they attempted to visit the
victim in the hospital.
Speaker 1 (01:39:10):
Also, they end up having to go to like the
real hospital.
Speaker 2 (01:39:13):
I was like, what this the right? I mean, you're
gonna have to explain that shit. The trial for Allen
was set to begin on Monday, but was harded after
he pleaded no contest for a dozen years in jail,
