Speaker 1 (00:02):
Everybody America Show. Good morning, and welcome to Tuesday Show.
Miranda Lambert, I'm feeling pretty good is going to be
here today. We're not at a percent yet. Well it's
like the weather. Let me give you an example. If

(00:22):
the weather says tomorrow it's going to be a chance
of rain, they're not telling the truth. The only way
it's it's happening right now. The only thing in life
that's guaranteed is what's happening to you write this second,
because it anytime things can change, so it's never really
but Miranda Lambert is supposed to be in like a right, Yeah,

(00:45):
a lot of things can happen, and it's our first
like coming back to the world of interviews and media
in a while, and so that's that don't happen, I
hope today. So I'm excited about that. Why they wanted
to like dip their toe in the water. But I'm
happy it's the show. I am, and I think this

(01:08):
is the best place because like it's we'll just keep
it real, you know, it's like cannonballing in and then
dipping toes afterwards, you know, like let's just but I'm excited,
Like I'm I'm genuinely excited. And so that's today. But
if the way it is a chance at tomorrow, that's
not true. The only chance is what's happening right now,
just generally in life, like we're gonna do, tell me

(01:30):
something good in a little bit might amount chance that happens.
What I would say a hind is it happening right now? Happy?
Right now? Is now? That's right, we're here. So Brandon
Lambert today he's got so glad everybody's here. It should

(01:51):
be a really fun, interesting, cool Tuesday, recognizing people doing
cool things. It's icy you. The Oakland Raiders through a
prom at the team's headquarters for teens who are patients
at the Children's Hospital Oakland and that weren't able to
make it to their own dances. Because they knew there
were a bunch of kids who physically could not get

(02:14):
back to their schools for their dances. They put on
a big one and the Raiders players at scored of
the teens and they got in tuxedos and they had
tuxedos addresses turned into this whole thing with the kids
from the Children's out. So yeah, so I see you
to the Oakland Raiders. That's really cool. I see you.
Bobby Bones Show, Big Story its producer Raymond Aaron. Hernando's

(02:35):
funeral was yesterday. The letters he left behind have now
been released to his family and other news that Tennessee
teacher who kidnapped the student had plans to go to
Mexico and now learning he didn't wanted to go to
Central America and South America. Luckily we caught him before
and then finally yesterday, computers across the US went bound
and anti virus software malfunctioned. It's fixed. Everything should be

(02:58):
good to go today. Dirk's bently came by the house
last night. We did a Bobby Cast, which is a
show that I do have a studio upstairs in my house.
People just come and hang out. So Dirk came over
and I think we talked for hour and a half.
And if you want to hear the whole talk and
go to iTunes and search Bobby Cast and subscribe. But

(03:18):
my favorite part is when it's over, I go down
and see whatever they drives, because here we don't see
what they drive. They come into the building or somebody
drives them over from the record label or something. And
so I went out and there's a funny conversation because
before we went out, he said, yeah, because it lends
you was at the house and we finished, we walked
down the stairs and he's like, yeah, I gotta have
like a a Prius or something. And some kids saw

(03:40):
me get out at the lake and he was like
so disappointed him. He's like, Dirks, He's like, my wats car.
Don't worry, I'm still a man. And we walked out. Yeah.
I could do like a whole series on what cars
that alreadys drive over to the house. He does like
a monster truck. So if you're wondering about Dirk's and
if if he's he does mother truck. Okay, monster monster.
Oh yeah, Like I can never pull it off and

(04:02):
you have to kind of me Derek's pull it off.
It's up if you want to hear it. It's called
the Bobby Cash Just search it out. Show are you
Tuesday Morning? Positivity starts right now in a segment we
call it, tell me something good Good, I'm gonna go.
I'm gonna go. A nine nine year old gets the

(04:24):
first hole in one at the Marion Country Club. That's crazy.
He's ninety nine years old. That's amazing. He gets first
hole in one there and the first whole one of
his life on whole sixteen using a six iron from
a hundred eight yards away over the weekend. That far. Yeah,
it's not how far a hole in one is, it's

(04:45):
just getting it. No, it's not that far. But it's
a part three. It's a short hole anyway, that's only
really plea you can get hold one is a short hole.
But the fact that he's years old, he's not and
he's saying, god walking, that's crazy one for not Amy's
not a golfers that she generally erstanding significance. Amy, imagine
this year old jog a mile. Yeah that's crazy. Yeah, yeah, okay,

(05:11):
go ahead, what do you so? Firefighters collected donations for
a mother to be and they paid for a new
apartment for her. And yeah, here's the deal. Their firefighters
they had recently put out a fire at her house
that ruined everything. Against she's a mother to be. She
had a baby shower, got tons of gifts. Two days later,
her place burned down. The firefighters they couldn't handle it,
so they decided to throw another baby shower, replaced everything

(05:34):
that she had lost. Isn't that cool? That is cool.
They throw a whole shower. Huh. Did they invite just
women like you did, or did the guys get to come?
Then guys got to come. I think it was more
of them just throwing it on for her. I don't
I don't know who always invited. But they got she
got baby clothes, gift yeah, yeah, all kinds of stuff.
Cool man, Yeah, tell me something. I hear something good

(05:57):
about your shower. When shower, it looked like the most legitimate,
most fun but together I've ever seen in my life. Yeah,
it's awesome. They haven't been blogs about it, like the
website blogs about it was so good and we can't
even go Bay. I ran into Bay the other day
and she said it's like the best shower she'd ever
been to. Thing to do with men. When Isabella was born,

(06:23):
she was born without a left arm. It was only
partially developed, and she's always wanted to play the violin.
She's ten years old now, so some students from George
Mason spent a year developing the right prosthetic. Now she
can play the violin. They printed it with a three
D printer. Yeah, I don't get that three D printers
like you don't get the ninety nine year old at golf.

(06:44):
I don't understand exactly. I think it's awesome. They developed
an arm for someone who didn't have an arm. That
three D printer. Like every it's always like someone developed
a leg or someone built a car out of a
three D printer. I've never even seen one. But it's
a good story because of what she was able to do.
How do we see who has one of those? Eddie,
don't have your kids and you probably not let him.

(07:06):
Get him into the eight team. It's all right, Yeah,
that's a good story. All right, tell me something good
there we go show. All right, So less than an
hour and a half from Randa Lambert in studio. Brand
hasn't done any sort of interviews in a long time.
Year year and a half, I mean a long time.

(07:26):
So Randall being a less than an hour and a half,
Mr T. You don't know he lucky. By the way,
public service announcement, there's a survey on Facebook. This is
if you take this, you'll get a fifty dollar Lows
Mother's Day coupon. That's a scam if you guys, and

(07:49):
a lot of people are falling for it because it
makes sense. Yeah, and Thursday's coming up, and you're like, okay,
that's a legitimate promotional thing. And Lows is a place
that it loves, her home depot other one in the
place that we all use, everybody uses, and you even thinking, yeah,
I probably it just seems like it's real. So it's
not that people are getting dupe like crazy. United Airlines

(08:11):
had a emergency landing after one of his engines overheated
over the ocean. That's that's not good, Like flying over
water scares me. This is according to a reporter who
was on the plane. It was bound for Houston. I mean,
they're over the ocean. There are nowhere to go but
blue and one of the engines went down. Your husband
has been a pilot man for eighteen years. Oh my gosh.

(08:35):
Well yes, well what does he say about this, Like
when an engine goes out? He actually not a big deal. Now.
In the Air Force, he flew for a long time.
He flew a plane that had four engines, and a
lot of times he would come home from work saying like, yeah,
an engine went out today. But he's like I had
three others, No big deal. And so I mean I
feel like with this you'd be like you just try

(08:56):
to do the best you can with what you have
left this maybe even turn the other went off and
turned into a bird. I mean, you want to see
me freak out and I'm just on the fly. Don't
even tell me an engine one out. Just be like, hey,
we're having problems up here. Our pilot's got a peanut allergy,
so we got one pile, we're gonna land. Don't tell

(09:17):
me engine is out. I'm run around like chick on
my head, cut off on the plane. Well, if my
husband's on there with you, he will be the calm one.
He can stay so calm. In fact, the guy when
he was on a plane where the engine did the
propeller flo off and he had no engine, his co
pilot with him sort of freaked out a little bit.
So on the recording tapes, that guy's freaking out and

(09:38):
Bence like, keep her cool. You're ruining our tapes. Amy's
husband that the plane he was flying with single engine,
they had to crash it and it was in the news,
and so he doesn't say crash, he says controlled landing, landing,
because that's what he did. They they put a plane
into a pond, small lake and that's how they landed
in a plane, went to the bottom of the ground

(09:58):
and these helicopters came in rescued them in black hawks.
I'm pretty sure I don't know that any other humans
have ever been in that lake. Like, it's just not
when you go to you know, that was a crazy story.
The Latest Food. He's thirty second Skinny. George Strait has
added two dates to his two nights of Number one
show at T Mobile Arena in Vegas. He played his

(10:20):
first two shows earlier this month. The news shows are
book for July and July twenty nine. So a film
critic ranked all the movies in the Marvel universe from
worst to best. Which ones are Marvel? Is that like
iron Man, Incredible Hulk, Avengers? Iron Man? Yeah, iron Man
is the best, it has to be the best, and

(10:41):
then the worst is there's an old Incredible Hulk ban
that was the worst my opinion. I don't even know
if that's Marvel, but that's my opinion. What Okay, they
do have the Incredible Hulk as the worst, so you're
right on that. But iron Man it made number five
on the list, number one, the Avengers. That's really good.
I feel like I'm in it's okay, So give me

(11:01):
the top three. Okay, top three and the number one
the Avengers, number two Captain America. I knew you'd not
like that. And number three Guardians of the Galaxy. I
really like that one. Okay, I've never seen it. Bottom
three working up in the very very bottom. Okay, the
very very bottom, incredible hull next to last. Ant man
never saw it, and I like door, I'm amy, that's

(11:24):
your thirty seconds guinea. Sorry to day. This story comes
up from Sioux Falls, South Dakota. One man's house caught
on fire. Fire truck show up, they're putting out the blaze.
He's out safely. He's like, man, I gotta get back
in there. What's you gotta go get? I have kids. No,

(11:45):
his beer in the fridge. He didn't want to leave
the beer in the fridge. Trying to run in, he
got arrested. I'm much boxed at your bone head story
of the day show. So last night Dark Spentley came
over to the house and we do a show called
The Bobby Cast from my house, which is just a studio.
I went talk probably for an hour and a half
last night, and so Dark's is hanging out, and he

(12:09):
was talking about songs that his kids listen to, and
this is him I'm talking about call me maybe. Hey,
I just met you. This is crazy, but here's my number,
so call me maybe. And oh the other boys try
to chase me, but here's my number. Call me maybe.
And before you came into my laugh look so bad.

(12:32):
You should know that. I mean, I know the whole thing, man,
but that's it's embarrassing. My son loves that song. So
we talked about everything. We're talking for an hour and
a half, right, And so I hope everybody listens either
on I Heart radio or they searching on iTunes. It's
called the Bobby Cast. But this is the song he said,
just come into his life. And apparently that movie sing
Eddie where they compete against each other and they sing

(12:54):
this song, and that's where you got it from. And
he's like, it's all my son wants to hear, and
so he just starts, He's like, I know all, I
know all the words, all the words. I just met you.
This is crazy, but here's my number, so call me maybe.
It was so funny, just Kevin going with it. It
actually sounds pretty good doing it. I know it's like
he should add that end the set list when I'm

(13:17):
asking about in just a minute. Is a movie that
you see and you may see a hundred times and
it still makes you emotional? Okay, now, lunch watch you
don't have to admit of make you cry because I
know you won't because nothing makes you cry, at least
on a movie or TV show. You kid, I get
a man, right, Like I mean, I get a little
sad at the end of Real World every season, but
I don't cry. I'm coming around the room a movie

(13:39):
you've seen a bunch of times and you're like, oh,
it still gets me every single time. We're watching another
episode Wednesday, and I did last night have thirteen tapes
reasons why? But yeah, there's thirteen tapes. Okay, Amy told
me about it. I'm watching it and I'm curious at
how it ends. But I'm just if I could just
turn it off, I would. How far are you along
four episodes? Because only watch one and so your take

(14:01):
on it obviously you're not into it. But Lindsay likes it,
Yeah she does. I was watching this or is it
just started it? Last night? Watched the first episode and
I was like the wife was like, you don't want
to watch another episode? She was hooked. I was like,
I think I'm gonna go to bed, like you gotta
finish it, or now I'll finish it. But it's not
like on the top of my list, We're like I
cannot wait to get home and watch another episode. It

(14:23):
was just kind of like, Okay, where is everybody right now?
Like what can you not wait for the next episode
of any show that's making new shows? For me, it's
Walking Dead because it was a finale, so I gotta
wait till October. But probably the worst season ever, fantastically
the worst season of Walking Dead. Though it's like the

(14:44):
worst day of fishing is better than the worst the
best day of working, but the worst season of Walking
Dead is better than the worst day of fishing is
better than the best day of working. I love all
your sayings from your family. Yeah you're down, you're rhamall.
They had some good ones. I'm living, I'm saying. So

(15:04):
it's like, the worst season of Walking Dead better than
that season. Most things, um Walking Dead for me, And
now I guess I'm excited. I keep forgetting I have
to watch the finale, and you told me it's so good.
I need to wait for my husband to be gone.
He cannot handle that. What show Walking Dead? Oh that's
your answer? Yeah, I guess easy Survivor Game Changers. Oh man,

(15:25):
it's so good. That's this week right, Yeah? But you
can't wait like I can't wait till the next episode. Yeah.
My point is you get to live it out pretty soon. Yeah.
Is that finale or is this No? No, it's just
another episode. It is so good because all the plot twiz,
people stabbing each other in the back, and just the
strategy because you have a group of people that are
together and then one's like, you know what, I'm done

(15:46):
with you? Vote you out? One side? Survivor so good.
I think you need to leave the show. I think
Lunchbox needs to go to the reality is dream is
a reality show? Are you ready for me to go
or what? No? But I would rather everybody be fulfilled
in their heart to be filled if your dream is
a reality shown, you come back. Yeah, of course, Well

(16:09):
there you go. You can come back unless like Ray
does a good job when you're gone or something. I
mean he's got fired. I mean I think you actually
just got permission to live your dream. Amy had permission
to move away. She had another shape for three years.
All we did the show five five years you lived
in North Carolina whole. We did the show for five
years with do you Live in North Carolina? Five? I

(16:31):
know I'm shocked something too, because the first two years
I did in my attic and it was miserable. Would
there be a trained alright, car drove by, would hear it,
and it would get when the show would last long
because I was on East Coast time around eleven am.
I'm like, guys, I'm sweating up here. We gotta go heat.
The sun will be coming with their attic. Yeah, that's
the thing, dude, if there's something in your heart, you

(16:52):
should should go chase it, come back. You wouldn't let
me back. I have to do some crazy thing and
I don't want to do that. Whatever. You'd be famous,
you'd be a reality star, already famous. I give Lunchboxes
permission to go to a reality show, and now I
didn't want to do it. He's like, ah, he got scared.
Forever he's been like, let me just go do a

(17:12):
reality show. And now I'm like, dude, you have permistion
to go. And he's like I'm fired. No, it's like
whatever makes you happy. I understand that, but that doesn't
mean I'm gonna have a job when I get back,
and that scares me. I can tell you there's a
you have a job. It's pretty good. That's pretty good odds. Actually,
if you want to go be answered by or you

(17:33):
should apply. Though that's your dream. I would never want
to hold you back from your dream. Do it, dude,
But who would sit here? Ray? Come in and do it? Fine?
Who would you raise? John? I'm not worried about that.
I'm just saying that it's not about anything else. Lunchbox
going after and doing what he wants to do in
his life, and that's what he wants to do. Started
plying Lunchbox. I mean, you really think Ray could sit here?

(17:56):
That's not the point I'm talking about this. The point
was if you want to be on a Ally show
and you don't feel like you you'll regret not doing
things more than you will doing them wrong. That's such
a good point, Like you'll end up being sixty years old,
like I never went on survivor never went You'll regret
not doing things more than you'll regret doing things in
the wrong. Way. We're doing things badly, and now you're

(18:17):
having to evaluate my dreams. Now, what do you want
to do? Do we all have this? Can you have?
You have your dream? Amy's dream was to be a
mom and to adopt and and she and to move away,
and she didn't. She moved to North Carolina for five years,
and she still did the show like I made it happen.
We built our studio. She lived North Carolina for five years.

(18:37):
Used to me, you know what I found. I was
cleaning out some storage and I found a big old
picture you had made of us, blown up huge, and
everybody signed it. Am I going away party? Because Bobby
threw me a going away party, knowing all along that
he was going to I'll offer me a job to
stay on the show. You let me think I was
leaving hold on. Here's what really happened. What really happened
was they said Amy's move North Carolina. I was like,

(19:00):
I don't want Amy to leave the show. But I
was in the middle of a contract negotiating myself, and
I was like, I will only stay if Amy we
build a studio in North Carolina. She lived there for
five years. We've never done this before, as far as
someone living in another stick for five years we did
the show and any living in North Carolina, and so
we were still in the middle of that process. I
wasn't for sure, okay, but that's why. Yeah. I was like,
dang through a girl there big And then like a

(19:24):
week later, I was like, you're still part of the show.
It was awesome. It was awesome. Miranda Lambert coming in
and thirty six minutes or so, first time for her
to do interview in a long time. I asked a
minute ago, what's the one movie that you can watch
over and over again and still be emotional about. So
around the room, you've seen it at least three times,
you still watch and go oh, Amy Steele Magnolias every

(19:48):
single time. Do you still watch that movie when you
put it on to watch it? Yes, like, and if
it's on TV, I'll stop and watch it. I may
even just watch it. It's one of my favorites, one
of my top three favorite movies ever. And I don't
cry Lunchboxball movie, Hit You in the Fields, Oh Man,
come on, Rudy, Oh yeah, Rudy, Rudy Ger. Every single

(20:10):
time you can watch that movie and just feel it
deep down someone wanting something so bad and never giving up.
Oh you know hit? You do you feel less about
it being a true story now that you know that
it's not really that true of a story, or is
it mad? Would you rather just spend all fiction? No?
I wish it was more true, but and so it

(20:30):
does diminish it a little bit. And that's why I
but I still love it. And I wait, me too.
That kind of debunked all that, most of that. You
just don't tell me that, okay, Eddie? Oh, mine's big Fish?
Have you seen that big Fish? It's a Tim Burton
movie and it's about a dad that makes up all
these stories to entertain his kid, but his kid didn't

(20:53):
like it because he thinks he's a liar. And it's
like one of those father and son stories that just
like at the end, just gets you so bad. Has
you want to seeing big Fish? Homework? You guys have
to see a big fish. You know you don't sign homework.
If we start taking Eddie's homework. It's like Pixar movie
Toy Story one, two, and three. I've never seen a
toy story. They're good. Just just watch the first one.

(21:15):
You're you're fine with that this is still look good
like the first one. Yeah, it's it's like watching Star Wars. Yeah,
like Redemption. Let me come on, get busy living or
get busy dyeing. It's not even sad except it is. Yeah,
it's like to think about life. Man. I'm always like,

(21:37):
oh did you ever see because Morgan Freeman does? This
movie is great where it makes you I just feel like, man,
life makes me feel. And there was a movie bucket List,
you great one when those credits roll on bucket List
and you know, I think John Maryer sings, say what
you need to say, say what you need to do. Yeah,
it's just like, oh I gotta get a bucket list
and some friends both yes, and I felt like I

(21:58):
needed to say what I needed to say to be bowl.
That's what that's about. Well, that's what it's about. Well
I know, but it makes you live life different. And
Gravity remember that song Gravity, and that movie Escouty is
terrible but George Cliney and air flowed in his face. Yeah,
that a great movie. And like Armagan doesn't make you cry,

(22:18):
and I love arm Again and I just can pick
one though, only that's right. I watched arm Again and
I was like, I touches the screen to see her
dad on them. I was like, you gotta be kidding me.
And I was like, this for sure going to happen
to America one day. Yeah, well the world that probably, yeah,
but let's let's be real, just America. We only right,

(22:40):
So yeah again is really good? And then you know what, also,
I love the name. We finally watched it and said
she didn't love it was five Summer. You didn't love it.
I did. I didn't love it my favorite get out,
but I mean I liked it. I was so when
I watched it, I was like, wow, they did a
movie and it was so different, Like it was shot
so different, Like why did they keep doing that by it? So,

(23:02):
I mean, I thought it was fine. I loved it
because it was like, regardless of what happens, like something
else can you do when you don't expect it. It's
like you're all sad because of this, but it's just
because this is about to happen. Well, and I learned
my husband has a major thing for Zoe Dastion. Every
guy does, Okay, well, now I know, because every scene
he's like, dang, she's cute. I'm like Okay, I get

(23:23):
the point, got it. Yeah, yeah, she watched it. What
else did you watch? Watching on the movie? Just that one? No,
we watched We run in five hundreds summer and I
did hidden Figures when I was originally going to do.
That's what I loved it. I think we built that
five summer to her. Maybe maybe too much, a little
too much. Still follow Bobby on Snapchat Bobby Show. He's

(23:53):
just storing the news about a woman who remembers every
day of her life. That's amazing. Yeah, she's twenty seven
years old. I guess she can recall every day of
her life. You can remember that when you were just
twelve days old, can't you? Yeah, So what do you
remember about that day? Mom was holding me and I

(24:14):
was in I was wrapped up in some sort of
blanket and I was put on the sheep skin on
the dry the seat of the car, and I remember
looking up at the wheel and I was curious as
to what it actually was, But it never really dawned
on me at that age yet to really go up
and investigate what it was. It's a super air condition

(24:36):
where she can they go back and track pictures from
every single day of her life. Wow. I have a
friend who swears he remembers coming out of his mom
and I'm like, shut up, there was a light and
he swears he's not. He has sworn it to me
for twelve thirteen years. He's like, I promisely remember the
first day of my life. Mr. Everybody's all one edge.

(25:01):
Randa Lambert's coming in. It's gonna be awesome. It's a
first interview and forever ever ever. We're nervous. I'm not
about you guys getting everybody like, everybody just take a breath. Yeah,
just we're just gonna sit and talk. I'm excited. Yes, Oh,
everybody's excited. It's going to be fantastic. That's all Randa

(25:24):
Lambert in the next eight minute. It's just a big
deal because she's done no interviews like it's this is
the first one and so it's exciting and we'll play
tin man a little bit. You don't know, he lucky,
Like I had text from everybody, regular, label, the boss,

(25:44):
every thing. What are they saying, don't worry about him
and everybody all of a sudden, don't try. I know
you're the bad boy. I'm not the bad boy. Cut
the radio and people stop calling me. That all I
do is just talking about people want to talk about.
That's all. Everybody to take a take a breather. Randa
Lambert will be in eight minutes. He's not here yet,
but eight minutes. Raina Lambert should be in the studio.

(26:04):
Over to Amy Now with the skinny, the latest from
Nash He's thirty second skinny. Carly ray Jeffson single Call
Me Maybe tops Billboards list of a hundred greatest courses
of the twenty one century and a Dirk slay it
or saying it for you last night on the show
on your show, right, I don't hear it? Yes, what

(26:30):
happened was this article came out last night when Dirk
is over my house and I pulled up on my
phone and I was like, hey, do you know Carly
ray Jefson called me maybe? And you here it is.
That's the song, okay, so and here is Dirk's Hey,
I just met you. This is crazy, but here's my number.
So call me maybe. And all the other boys try

(26:52):
to chase me, but here's my number. Call me maybe.
And before you came into my life, I lose so bad.
You should know that. I mean, I know the whole thing. Man,
It's it's embarrassing. My son loves that song. So if
you want to hear that whole interview with Dirk's, just
search Bobby Cast and you can subscribe on iTunes or

(27:13):
listening on iHeart Radio. But yes, it was the number
one biggest chorus of all time Since You've Been Gone
by Kelly Clarkson came in second, followed by Mr Brightside
The Killers at number three. Mr Brights he didn't know
that one. Didn't know that one. There was something he
didn't know. He maybe he didn't know that one. Then
I sing it back to him like, oh, I do
know it. I'm a really good singer. There were some

(27:33):
obvious ones he didn't know. Yeah, what else? You got
new movies out on video today, so you can rent
these Arrival with Amy Adams Video. I mean you can
download these Analogy Arrival with Amy Adams, La La Land
and Underworld, Blood Wars with Kate Beckinsale. I'm Amy. That's

(27:55):
your thirty second Skinning out on VHS next week on
the Real The Real projector Randon Lamberts in the building,
Randa Lamberts in the building, all right, she'll be in
about four minutes or so, she's just not pulling him
in the garage. Record one to the Randa Lambert's here,

(28:17):
so she'll be in a minute. A robber goes in
and he's like, hey, I read rob the store and
he hands him a note and so he hands a
clerk the note and then he's like like, I can't
read this. What's this say? So he has to get
the note back to the robber, and the robber has
to read the note out loud, and so he read
it out loud, and so they have tape because there

(28:38):
he couldn't really read the note, but there's tape of
him security footage reading not only in the store, but
he's also out loud speaking. So the fact that he
had a mask on didn't matter because the voice is like,
this is a robbery, please be quiet, don't let your
pride get you killed. So he says it out loud. Yeah,
but they got him because they had his voice. The

(28:59):
first rule of robbing the stores don't second second rule
is handwriting. Come on, guys. So there's that Randa Lambert
in and three and a half minutes. I'm being told
from Ray right now. So three and a half minutes
until Miranda Lambert. Chris Pratt says he won't take photos
of fans. What I like it, if you just say it,

(29:20):
I'm cool with this, if you just go out and
own it, he says, because if I go out and
I want to do normal things, I have be comfortable
disappointing people. So I just I don't like picture of fans.
I give handshakes. I like to live in the moment.
And so he's like, just so you know, if you
come up, don't think I'm a Jerk's I'm gonna be
a jerk ahead of time. I'm totally cool with that,
like just being honest about it. But Chris, by the way,
big dude met him, Huge dude really yeah, like lumberjacks.

(29:48):
All right, Miranda Lamberto him, Randy, Hi, good to see you.
The last time we saw each other was the A
c M S when you won their work for Album
of the Year and you were present in it. I
was and you were. Whenever you sit front row and
an award show, do you feel like the awards are
about to come? I don't know. I just feel nervous

(30:08):
the whole time because it's like sitting over church, because
you feel like everybody's looking at you. Well, yeah, I
just can't see what's going on behind you, and you
don't know when to stand up or sitting on or
what's going on. I looked in the card. If I'm
gonna be honest, before we went out, I do that.
I did do that. I knew you won before you
broke the seal. No, no, no, there was a seal
on it. I did not break. There was a seal,
but I took it and I opened it and remained

(30:32):
a whole, So I knew you went ahead of time.
So I was eyeballing you as they ran, you know
when they show all the squares everybody's heads, and I
was like, for this one second, I know something Randa
Lambert doesn't know about Miranda Lambert. And then you sold
the card. No, no, no, no, that's what. You got
it back, though I couldn't kept it. I did hear
that you sold it though, wait, hold on, so you

(30:52):
didn't get it back. I did get it, Okay, I
don't have it. I kept it because no, I took
it from me, and I was like, I'm just gonna
lay it down. Well, when you win the award, they
like run up and grab it from you and the nod.
I was ever at uman a ward show I won
the first time I was there. I didn't win the
first time I was there. But when I finally did
win something at an award show, I was so excited.

(31:12):
I was like holding my c M and then they
come just like grab it away because it's just like
a prop for everybody, and I was like, wait, I
just won this, so they realized like the car, but
they take the award. Yeah, I promise you, I haven't
got on the ear. The next day, I was like,
I have the card, and I know I'm not supposed
to have the card, and so if I was really
going to steal it, I wouldn't say anything about it.
But then I saw somebody that knows your manager, and

(31:33):
I was like, I have the card, and I feel
guilty if I don't give this back to you right now.
Well she is happy to have it. My manager has
it in safe keeping now. So thanks, You're welcome, So
a congratulations, thank you. I have to wonder because I
was there for the show too, and I'm sitting like
the fifth row and you go out and you do
ten Man completely acoustic, and and to show the vulnerability

(31:54):
of the song. I'm imagined, this is what's happening in
my head. Like you wanted to show what the song
was about being the most vulnerable, you could like why
go full acoustic? And is that to you more nervous
without people around you? Or did you feel better doing
that song by yourself? Um, I changed my mind on
my song, like forty hours before I left for Vegas.
I just I don't know. I just I got like

(32:15):
I've got a double record and I have only had
a single and a quarter of a single and that
single is gone. So I just thought, well, I've got
twenty two other songs that need to be showcased. And um,
so you changed the whole song. So it wasn't you
changed how you were going to do. I changed the
whole song, so because I'm going to Originally we should
be friends, but I just decided last minute, like I

(32:35):
want to showcase as many songs off this record as possible.
Because it's a double album, there's twenty two more songs
that haven't been quote unquote singles. So I just thought, well,
the best way to do that is just every opportunity
I have is to do a different song. And I've
been doing tin Man by myself on the road. But yeah,
I was totally terrified. Of course, Miranda Lamberts here man,

(32:57):
I have so many questions to follow that. Okay, so
let's say you have a band and they're going to
play that song with you forty hours and you have
to call them and go you're off TV. Sorry, buddy,
I did I have to do that. They were all
kind of relieved though, because we've been going to Vegas
for like ten years. I was like, I'll, I'll just
you know, I called him and they were all on
board because I've been doing it live. They were all

(33:17):
actually part of the reason I did that. My band
was encouraging to me to do that. What do they
say to you to encourage you to do that? They just,
you know, they know how much this record means to
me and how that song has been translating just me
doing it at the end of the show, um as
the encore by myself, and so they were on board.
But I called him in the dressing room. We did
are like high five that we always do over the phone,

(33:39):
because I had to walk up by myself. So what's
the pre show high five for you? We well up
until like two weeks ago, we made a group vote.
We used to do a shot a fireball, and we
all decided like two weeks ago that we're way too
old and that it's terrible. So now we just like
make a toast and my guitar player, Scottie Ray, he's
been with me like almost fifteen years, and he does

(34:00):
a speech where he gets everybody all rilled up, and
then that's it. It's really just an excuse to make
one last string before we go on stage. So you
go out and you play. It's azing. Did you win
before you play? Or play before you win? That night
was a blur um. I was early in the show,
thank goodness, for five minutes into the show, which if

(34:21):
I would had to wait till the end, I probably
would have like my nervous would have got to me.
You know, it was very nervous. You're more nervous about
the performance than you wear the award. Yeah, well, I'm
not a good guitar player. I don't really. I've just
strum long enough to write songs. But you know, I
wanted to do something impactful too, to keep you know,
attention on the twenty two other songs I have that

(34:42):
I want people to hear, and I felt like that
was the way to do it. Hey, then, Mr tun
you don't know how hacky. You shouldn't spend your whole
love wish for something aboutiful. All right, we're back in

(35:07):
the studio now with Miranda Lambert. You know, so you
have And I also have to wonder about this double
album because it's so many songs, Like what because I'm
sure someone comes in they say we abroute eighty songs
for one record, Like how many songs do you write
for a double album? Like many song did you not
put on this record? I didn't put a lot. I
wrote all year I moved to Nashville, like back to Nashville.

(35:28):
I'd lived here like ten years ago, but um, and
then I just kind of dove into writing. I was
off the road at that time, supposed to be written
for a record, So I just saw like five days
a week with written songs. And I've never done that
before because I didn't live in Nashville, so I would
just come to town specifically to right and so um,
it's when I moved here, it was like I was

(35:50):
sort of just immersed in all my friends and that
are songwriters that I've been written with for years and
it was fun. It was really fun. It was therapeutic,
and I you know, I've that's why it's a double album,
because I had trouble choosing one of some. I mean,
you obviously love me too. She's been over my house.
Is Natalie Himby who you've running a ton with? I

(36:11):
mean she is awesome and I know she as you
guys have spent a lot of time writing. And was
she one of your closer friends that you guys friend friends.
We've been written together for a long time, I mean
ten years. We had our first number one together, um
with white Lyar and that was a long time ago.
I don't even know what you're she tells the story.

(36:33):
I wonder if your stories are the same. She says
that whenever you started writing white Ler like you had
the whole chorus and You're like you you had it.
She was like you already had you had the idea
in the chorus, and then away you guys went. Is that?
How is that your recollection? Everybody? That song? Yeah? Just
because it's funny, because Natalie pushes me out of my
comfort zone in every possible way, in great ways. But

(36:54):
when it comes down to like writting a country song.
She turns to me and so like this it's that
song was sort of a messing of both styles. But um,
I don't know. It was kind of like that day
when we wrote that song. We just gained mutual respect
for each other because we wrote too that day and um,
and we didn't know each other that well. But you know,
she's just special. She's a really special girl. She's she's

(37:15):
got this gnat for like getting an artist's head and
knowing what you want to say before you even know
what you want to say. You know, this album, whenever
you said, hey, I want to put out two records,
did the label say, hey, this is too much? Like
what was that like? Because it's so rare now for
I want to put out that much music. At one time,
I asked forgiveness, really, I mean I kind of asked
permission forgiveness in the same breath with them to go

(37:38):
this is it and it's all the songs kind of
nicely like one of those like blinking my eyes, like
here you go. Please? What do they say back? Because
it is abnormal for someone to go, I want to
put out two records. The label was awesome about it, actually,
Randy Goodman was like really supportive and on board. Everybody was.
They were just they knew that I needed to have
this record and let it be what it was, and

(38:00):
they were awesome. They I was kind of shocked, really
because they were so supportive and um sort of like
all of us scratching our heads, going what do we do?
We had several like how well, it's just like how
do we make this work? But I mean hopefully it will.
I'm doing my part. It's selling like crazy. I mean
it's selling. I mean it's it feels like an art piece.

(38:24):
That is that a compliment? Yeah, I mean that's what
you want it to be. I just wanted to have
girls have a lot of personalities, and I wanted to
show all of those personalities. So it took two records
to do. So you're like the rare unicorn because you
didn't live here, so we never we would never see
you that didn't And I'm still like, I'm still getting

(38:46):
used to live in here. When I first got here,
I was like running wild in Midtown, but then I
calmed down. Going outside, you would just go out losers
and winners either one. If I'm hungry. I got to winners, okay,
and people don't bother you. No, not really. I kind

(39:06):
of have this, like what do you call it? Are
the yeast? I don't mean to though. I just do
my thing and drink Miller lot and hang with my friends.
But people just are sweet. Nashville is awesome. Nobody cares.
I mean everybody, everybody who's anybody that's my hero lives
here and I see them out, I don't bug them.

(39:27):
So whom would you bug for a picture? Though? Or
who have you bugged for a picture? Well? I haven't
bugged him but for a picture. But like every time
I'm around Faith Till, I turned into a complete idiot
and I don't know why, but it's just Faithill and
I just she's so pretty and she's just awesome. And
like at the a c m S this year, we
all won that award, which was so weird, and we

(39:48):
all go on stage. Nobody really knew what to do.
We didn't know if any other artists were gonna walk
on stage, and so everybody was just sort of It
was weird. But anyway, I got suck in the back
with Faith and she grabbed my hand. I was like hello,
and then we guys for me too. It the same way.
It's like people that we listened to as we were
kind of in our years of figuring out who we were, Like,
those are the coolest people to us totally. And you know,

(40:10):
artists come and go and I get to do this
awesome job and talk to people all the time. But
it's the people like that come in from when I
was a kid. But even Tim mcgaw's and that too.
Guys listen to mcglan radio growing up. But even like
when when Mark Chestnut came in out, I was just like,
holy crap, this is crazy. Yeah. I would totally ask
him for a picture and it was like I would
listen to my whole kid life with you. So those

(40:32):
are the people the nineties country is like, that's where
I sort of get stupid anyone from the nanties country
or back in the studio. We've had Miranda Lambert all
hour long. I'm glad you came by. Well, thank you,
because we're always like man, so now we can say
it's percent yeah, yes here. Yeah. It was like Domanda
comments I think she should be here today, and then

(40:54):
nothing's until that happens, So we're glad I'm here in
the flash drinking coffee so early for me? What kind
of coffee do you drink? The unicorn from Accino? I
mean it's like two million calories. It's like I want
them to have a skinny unicorn. Yeah, it's um, but yeah,
I know I'm kind of obsessed with it. I've looked
at pictures, but I haven't gone all the way. Well,

(41:16):
you say Miranda at Starbucks? What when I asked your name? Yeah?
Sometimes I say Miranda. Sometimes I make up something like
what I can't tell you because everybody will know. It's
like a hotel name. Yeah. Does the used to be
Tarra dactyl. I had to change because people figure to that.

(41:37):
I feel like the briefs would be like, okay, Miranda,
I used to be a terroot actyl. That was my
alder Ego terod actyl. When I would get like, you know,
a little too much whiskey and me probably and now
it's I've changed my datasaur to t rand. See what
I did there? Yeah, my nicknames ran so got it?
Do you have a hotel name at a different hotel name?
You'll check it under two or you do like a

(41:58):
funny fake name? Yeah, any you don't use anymore, you
can tell us that was it. I was Terra for
like ten years, Dactyl and they were. But you guys
like let me. I would demand an idea if Tara
Dactyl came in. I heard somebody else checks in FORO Yeah,
like yeah, I just follow feet for living in Sylvia.
That's my two jobs. It's like, do you have someone

(42:22):
because I would do something? People like people have found
my hotel room before and they're like yelling outside the door.
Do you ever have that happen to you know? But
I usually don't say. If I have my bus, I
don't leave the bus. Do you feel weird outside of
your bus? Even at home? Kind of? I don't sleep
well for like, after I've been on the bus for
a while in a bit that's not moving, for like,
it takes like a week to adjust. Do you know

(42:42):
why any people lay in there? There's a fun fact
for you and buses. Do you know why you don't
lay with your head forward towards the steering wheel? I
guess because if they slam the brakes, your head would
hit That's it. But I mean I don't know. I
don't know about the bus left. No, that's exactly why.
I didn't know that I was laying the wrong to
buckle up? Would you? Can you buckle when you're sleeping? No?
But we we've had some drivers where we had to
wear quote unquote ll Crow pajamas anything with the bus.

(43:08):
We've had a few, like one time my trailer passed
me on party and flipped and it was terrifying. It
flipped in the fast lane and the only thing that
I had just gotten a guitar signed by Merle Haggard,
and that was the only thing in the trailer that
got run. There's a whole straight through where he signed.
My mom had it like in a case at her
store in Texas right now. But I was like that.

(43:31):
My dad called, he was like the guy. I was
fine to do my Kerosene video. So this was like
a long time ago. But that was scary for sure.
But it didn't tiler to hit anybody. It didn't hit anybody,
and only one thing got ruined out of all the
amps and guitars and everything, my moral Haggard guitar. But
he signed another one, so I'm good. But yeah, that
was scary. Thank you for coming. I hope to see

(43:51):
you again some time, And thanks for all your dog
stuff that you know, and one of my my dog's
favorite toy is one of your little dog stuff. I
had my dog delted on I called Delta proof. She
Delta proof to everything because she can rip a squeaker
out of a toy in like four seconds and she
only has four teeth. So if she can't, like she
I made. I had her test all the toys to
make sure she did a good job. Old, she's levin

(44:14):
what kind of what? What breed? She's a chug, So
how long did they normally live? Well, the vet just
gave her a check up and said she's supposed to
live probably twenty because she's super healthy. She I found
her out sonic. She's a random I want to get
a cherry line made and live for the dog. That's
that's how all mine. I have seven rescues, so all
the size. It's two Kearny's, two Golden Retrievers, Chhawa, a

(44:36):
random little twenty pounder named Bellamy. They're all named after
country songs, her artists or artists Delta Don Bellamy, except
Share somebody else named her. So what you got a
dog names? So you just adopted Share that was already
named well, no, somebody named her because I was supposed
to share her. You know, her name is share lec

(44:57):
Share because my rule is it has to be after
an artist or a song. So I named a share.
I didn't share at all. I've never shared her, not once,
and she's tin. Do you feel pressure if you go
to Sonic to tip a whole lot because you're Marinda
Lambert kind of because if you don't, they will take
a picture of it and be like Main Lambert and
Timmy crap. Yeah, and you don't even have to tip
this on it, but you should. Yeah, I agree. Do

(45:18):
you ever do you go to place a swipe your
own credit card so I see people will take pictures
of that and be like, man, Lamber didn't even hit
me because I don't lie. I don't know how to tip.
I have a tip app because I don't know how
to do math at all. No, I have a tip
app like literally tap in you just like top in
what you're but what a calculation you do? You have

(45:38):
to they'll talk about you. Okay. It's the worst part
when you're just trying to Like you're in a bar
and you're like at that place where the ugly lots
about to come on and you're just like, what's yeah?
See what I did there? Are you laughing? Are you laughing?
Until the ugly lights of people are not anymore? Just
for just the window of tom Now it's over the
highway Vagamon tour. That was awesome. I know he had

(46:01):
Aubrey out with you, who I'm a huge fan of
um and her dad produced your record right all her
except dad is Frank Lidel. He's produced all of my records.
So we were walking off stage and he's like, Hey,
just have my daughter over at your house. And I'm
right in the middle of this whole thing. I don't
know what's happening. I'm like, what you're just what? You
have your daughters in my house? I think you have
me confused with someone else. He's like, no, no, no,

(46:21):
we're likes. I'm not saying my it's Aubrey. I was like, oh,
I got it. That's accusing me having a daughter at
my house. Oh, like in a bad way. I was like, no,
you have the wrong and she's old enough anyways. Billy Bones,
that's a whole different dude. The Way of These Wings
has all the songs on it, including tin men and
congrat the records fantastic and it's like the day it

(46:42):
came out, it was like everybody was talking about a
different song, which is a really cool thing to have
happened with the record, especially in the Land when they
shoot out one song at the time, and to have
put out that much and people talking about all the
different things, that's that's pretty cool. Well, I'm thankful for it,
and I'm just I'm excited for what's come with it.
I don't I don't know because I've never done a
double album, but hopefully it has a long, strong, good life. Well,

(47:05):
we'll see you soon and Miranda Lambert, everybody said by
the Miranda. Thanks to Miranda Lambert for coming by. Lots
of pictures and stuff on my Instagram and Twitter. Mr
Bobby Bones, do we want to talk about the yoga
pants or not? Because lunch box is itching to talk
about them. Everybody has something, Okay, so we've been waiting

(47:26):
for well today it's been a lot of Miranda's So
I'm just gonna We're gonna wait so we can do
the trivial stuff now questions. So I was gifted a
pair of yoga pants Man Man, Yoga pants Man pants
and you're calling them pants and they're just they're type
pants and man pants. My girlfriend gave it to me

(47:46):
because I saw this awesome guy in this yoga class
wearing he was like dominating yoga, and I was like,
that's just what I need, and so she got me
something for my birthday, and so I had put them on.
I was kind of nervous to wear them to class,
and so into different class, which is my shorts on
and on the left side of me was a football
player in tights and on the right side was a
street fighter in tights, and so I was like, well,

(48:08):
if a football player a street fighter can wear them,
I just assigned them these jobs in my head. By
the way, I just figured out what they did. But
probably they did dead tattoos. So I'm like, find him
doing it. So yesterday I got on my Snapchat, I
got on my Instagram, and I put on my yoga
pants and they were tight, and I went and did it,
and they respect him. When I walked in the room.

(48:29):
They were like, this guy must know what he's doing
because he's wearing yoga pants. And again, I'm not the
most manly man. I have no problem with that, and
but I thoroughly enjoyed them. So now, lunchbox, there is
no respect given to you. Your girlfriend gave you those
hoping you'll wear them so you'll look like an idiot.

(48:49):
And other people were looking at me like this guy
is so stupid, why is he wearing those? And then
my girls girls that where they're like, man, I'm not
gonna date that guy. Dudes wearing those little tights? What
in the world she sets you up so you would
wear them. Girls would not find you attractive in them.
That way, There's nowhere for you to go except her

(49:10):
back to her arms every night. She is playing you
for a fool. She put a trap out there and
you walked right into it. You are smarter than that.
You're one of the smartest people I've ever met. I
am worried about you because she made this as a joke,
Like she bought these to make you look stupid, and

(49:31):
you're falling for it. You look stupid. Wow, I never good,
be honest, I don't think I like stupid. That's the problem.
You can go to my Instagram and see me wearing
these pants. Mr Bobby Bones on Instagram. What where would you?
Mr Bobby Bones on Instagram. What where would you use?

(49:51):
I think he fits of heart. I'm I actually thought
you looked good, and I'm curious if you feel like
because you have this extra confidence, it's if your yoga
was better, Like, did you feel like you performed better?
Here's the thing, right, is that they thought I was
gonna be really good because wearing else. They kept coming
to fix me the whole time because they felt like
I should be better. I don't wear them. They just

(50:12):
leave me alone. I'm terrible had them on, They're like, oh,
pretty good, he's just messing. They kept fixing me, like
moving my button? Did they like? Is it the opposite
of what lund Fox is saying? What's your word, eddie?
Inappropriate for what? Oh? Man? I mean those things are
so revealing. They're not though. They are too though, and
you might as well just wear tights every day, dude,
like green tight whatever it doesn't it's not a good look.

(50:35):
You're my boy. I'm looking after you right now. Okay.
If I go to Instagram, there's a picture of me
wearing these tights on my doll. Not a good look.
Mr Bobby Bones Dan from Dan and Jason and Messa.
She goes dude, I worked jeans at that time all time.
That's true. He's like, he's like, they're like, great on you.
I was like, thanks, not I appreciated. It's up on
my Instagram. You were underwear. Huh, interesting question. It is

(50:58):
an interesting question or is it built in? Who knows everybody? Shore?
A few weeks ago, my girlfriend gave me some yoga
pants for my birthday because I do yoga once a

(51:19):
week or so, and so my trainer was sick yesterday.
So I went to the yoga class and I put
tights on it because like, I'm just commit to it.
And I went and did the class and I posted
a picture on my Instagram. Mr Bobby Bones is the
name and lunch box, which is he was about giving
me the business about it. His theory is that my
girlfriend bought these for me so I would look stupid,

(51:40):
So no girls in the class to be attracted to me.
Correct less competition for her. It's better off for her.
You look stupid, they don't, They're not attracted to you.
That's what. It's an interesting theory. I never thought about.
Troy is on a which, Hey Troy, Hey, what's good,
what's up? Thank you for calling the show would you
like to say? Well, you know, I was listening to

(52:01):
that and last night, just so happens, I was on
Instagram and I came across Jason Statham's Instagram page and
the first thing I see is him doing a handstand
on some parallel bars in tight like the manliest dude.
We know, I would not want to mess with them. Yeah,
what do you think about this? Listen? I don't He

(52:22):
may be married so he doesn't have to worry about it.
He does have some toy's secret model or something, right, Okay, girlfriends,
I know maybe she gifted in the tights lunchbox something.
Do you think she wants Statham to thank you? Troy?
Let's go to Rebecca and spring Film. Is there a
Hi Rebecca, Hi, you're on the air. Well. I think

(52:45):
that lunch is just jealous, because, first of all, Bobby's
girlfriend wouldn't give him something that would make him look stupid,
and I think that he looked fine. And I mean
there's a lot of women that wear yoga pans that
don't need to be wearing yoga pans, So I think
they're just als. I don't understand what I would be
jealous of. My wife would not give me something to

(53:05):
make me look stupid. I don't like that word, saying
it over and over. Stupid. Yeah, we're using it a
lot right now. Don't you use that in my house.
I think it's the new to me. Stupid not a
bad word. I don't think it's a bad word, but
we just I feel like we're saying it a lot,
and he's yelling at a very aggressive Waybe that's why.
But Lunchbox, my girlfriends on the phone, No, not yet. Hi,

(53:31):
are you listening to this. I am listening to this,
And much as much as I appreciate your theory, it's
totally not true. I honestly bought you tight because I
think it's easier to do yoga with parents. Like whenever
I do yoga and shorts, it's a lot harder than
when I do yoga and pants. So the theory that
Lunchbox has that you bought them for me to look

(53:52):
stupid because I go into an all woman class and
he doesn't want the other women tempting me. You think
that's incorrect. It's not. I definitely think it's incorrect. I mean,
if anything, I think it's cool when guys were yoga
tights because I think it shows confidence. See, this is
part of her trick. She's not gonna cult in here
and be like, oh yeah, Bobby, you're busting me. She's

(54:13):
gonna stick to the line when you lie, once you
keep lying, to keep the line, to keep you safe.
I mean, come on, don't fall for this. I was
getting a lot of crap too much because I had
her shirt on. It wasn't her shirt, it was a
shirt that fit me with her face on it. Like
one of our merchant cut the sleeves off. Yeah, I
go to yoga, wear sleeves in yoga. Why are you

(54:33):
being a hater now? I'm not, are you? And I
have the whole shirt sleeve cutting thing for like ten
years now, shirtless and yoga. I don't know. That's why
I'm feeling it. But don't look at me to be
on your side. I'm not on your side of this.
On Bobby Island right now, with your sleeveless shirt and

(54:54):
tights and you're Lindsay shirt as she walked around in
a Bobby shirt. I mean, it's like you're wearing her name.
Sometimes you haven't so embarrassing we have, we just have
t shirts. They're just actually they're just free t shirts,
and you're like, you just grab something from the clean
clothes and they're soft. Thank you, lind Alright, there you

(55:16):
go to be fair. I supported you on the tights.
There's nothing wrong if I go do Yogan with the
shirt with notes leaves. Who cares? Okay, yeah you do?
You nobody cares? Why are you being judgment Amy? Right?
Now's your girlfriend? Calls in our audio producer Raymond. He

(55:36):
has to go to his nephew's three year old preschool graduation.
Is that right? Yeah? It's my girlfriend's nephew, and you're upset. Well,
I mean, I think the kids three years old and
he's having this graduation. I didn't even know you celebrate
getting not a preschool. I mean, what are you celebrating.
I think it's only been four months and he's been
at school. I didn't remember that when I was a kid.

(55:56):
I remember I didn't even have a middle school. I
had a high school in a college graduation. I thought
those were the two. That's all I had to my
Is this normal? So there's a Now I'm just trying
another graduation. There's a preschool graduation, there's a kindergarten graduation.
They have one for every year. Adi, there's almost one
for every year, like when you go from first a second.
I mean, aren't we rewarding kids a little too much?

(56:19):
Just kind of basically participation ribbon of years of school.
It's making their life memorable year one year at time.
If you have one forever year, you don't remember any
of them. I remember my senior high school graduation or
my college if the game one, everyone remember them. But
to be fair, if you had one a preschool, you
wouldn't remember it. Why should you have it? Then that's true.

(56:41):
I guess. I guess it's over the parents, and it
is for the kids. I'm gonna be a three year old.
Pre K graduations like party, party time. I mean, there's
got to be just kids running right. Yes, So you're going, right, Ray, Yeah,
I'm going, and I'm I mean, I guess I'll congratulate
the three year old. He's gonna look at me. He
just graduated from college. But I'm like, you still got

(57:02):
about sixteen years left, buddy. He's giving him a real
world lesson at three years old. You're talking about graduations,
and our audio producer Raymond is going to his three
year old nephews pre K graduation. He's like, what's happening?
Why did we get a graduation now? And so Mary

(57:24):
is on in Ohio. Hi, Mary, Hi, thank you for
calling the show. What's happening? Not much. I just got
done with my pre school drop off like half an
hour ago and had to go get gas. But because no,
I can't do that with kidding car. But he's again,
he's been in school since the school year started and

(57:45):
he's done good. But why a graduations manager five year old?
I don't get it. Why I graduation? Se many for
a five year old? You have a kid and he's
having one. Yeah, he will be graduating preschool to go
to kid a garden. That's month and he's five. You
don't feel like it's a special day. Special day. It

(58:07):
is a special day. But at the same time, then
when he's done the fourth grade, take you another ceremony
because they're leaving that building and going to the fifth
and sixth grade building, and they probably do another one
ninth grade and probably another one. No, they're going to
do another one in sixth grade from the middle school
building to the junior high building while you're graduated out. Yeah,

(58:32):
and they're eight and five. Wow, well, thank you for kids.
Probably like you're over it, you're like teachers. Whoever, I
don't have time for this. Do you know that Thursdays
bring your kids to work day? Oh no, all right,
let's do it. Let's do it. So it's like allowed,
or it started to take your daughter's to work day,

(58:53):
and it's been amended to sons as well, because that
was kind of a raw deal. Oh no, it's not
like a federal thing whereverybody gets to do it. But
I remember to take your daughter to work? I do too.
But see, I get anxiety, like even thinking about bringing
my kids here because I don't think you'd let them
in here, Like I think they'd be too loud and unpredictable.

(59:16):
I mean, you don't want junior, Junior, you're pushing all
these buttons and taking us off the air. Now, you're right,
I don't want that. He could do that. Yeah, he
can come and say what up? Really, if you wanted
to come by, you come by right now if you want.
Don't care get out of here, but not on the
I mean you can't have to screaming on the air,
right right right? I can no way to bring my
kids the work day next year, Oh my gosh, bring
all the kids together. Lunch will probably have a baby.

(59:37):
I mean, today's a a two eighteen. Will lunchbox have
a baby? Well, stand by, you had a day that
you already predicted that I'd be pregnant. It is August. No,
it is July one that he would say they were pregnant. Yeah, wow,
that's coming up. You just said, mark this calendar. Mark

(01:00:00):
this down to the calendar. I still have lunchboxes from Vegas,
which I don't really have it. We still have the chips,
so I don't really have the money. Because we're gonna
need you to get a pregnant if you want that
money back, I'm gonna need a positive pregnancy test for
your last two hundred bucks from Vegas. No, that's not
how it works. I mean I've worried you forgot that.
You have my two hundred dollars. We still have the chips. Okay, whatever,

(01:00:22):
I'll give you three hundred dollars and you give me
the five chip. And no, that's not how it works.
What planet do you come from? Where that? What do
you mean that's five dollars? You give me three hundred
because you owe me two hundred. That's not how it works.
If you know math, because I'm a mathematician up in
my brain and I know numbers, and that equals five dollars.
When I doing we go, well, I'll tell you what
abigam coming up. If you win it, you can have

(01:00:45):
thank you. Now I've been on this side of it.
I love it. If you win, you can have a
final dollars that you want to make. You didn't really
win this money's me fronting it. But we'll play a
game coming in a bit. Okay, alright, alright, So we
have a app all I Heart Radio, and it's free
to download. I hope you listen to the show, and
after the show you can search Bobby Bones Show on demand.

(01:01:06):
You can also take an upgrade all Access, which you
can just pick songs. And so we'll do an I
Heart Radio All Access Song of the Week, and it's
always song that I'm like, he has a good song.
And so a week or so ago, now I'm even
longer than that. When I came back from the John
Mayer concert, because that was the day after the record
come out, I was like, hey has a song called
in the Blood? And I played it and I played
it again last week and I was like, man, this

(01:01:26):
needs to behind the radio watch out. So that's the
I Heart Radio All Access song of the week. I'm
gonna play. I'm just gonna play it again and so um.
The cool thing is like other radio companies and other
places were playing it now too. So we've started something here,

(01:01:48):
but you're playing it. But wait with the I don't
own the song, but you came up with the idea
that I don't care about that. I tweeted about this yesterday.
I don't care if I other radio companies are playing it.
I hope everybody play it and it just becomes a
huge hit. I understand, But you are the the one
that did it, and all these people are trying to
act like they're the ones that brought it to country music.
Like I don't care on the inside, on the outside,

(01:02:12):
all around you. Are you irritated if I because I'm
irritated for you. If I cared, I won't be going Hey,
I care because I do that sometimes when I care,
I can come on the I don't care. I just
want good music to be on the radio. I understand that.
But when you do something, when you set a precedent,
people should be like, oh man, Bobby was right, you
know this should be on country music. They can't just

(01:02:34):
act like, oh, look, we're gonna be the first ones
to play those on country music. I don't think you
know what I'm saying that though, But they're trying to
act like they are they got I don't know that
they're acting. I don't even talking about this is no
why do you think they got the idea? It doesn't matter.
My point is this, and this wasn't the whole thing
for me too, was that this our format tries to
keep people out of it all the time. It's like
this ain't country, kick them out when instead of the

(01:02:57):
people will kick people out just find not buying it
or listening to it. That's what happens. And if it's
not in, people just go I'm not gonna buy my
list to it. Why don't we, as a format go
and find people that have no interest in being anywhere
and we're just making good, authentic music and go, hey,
why don't you come over here with us where everybody
else is making good, authentic lyrically driven instrument made or not.

(01:03:18):
It's just that was definitely your point. I don't understand
that I don't understand the culture of people going something's
not country enough, Let's kick him out. How about ego
find things that are and bring them in. That was
my whole point. But anyway, just right now, someone's gonna
give that speech, and I'm like, they came up with it.
And I'm not the first one to say that either.
I didn't come up with everything. I'm just I'm just saying,

(01:03:40):
take credit where credit? And you you started to microphone down,
microphone down? Like this is that in the blood from
John mayor? Get going about everything? Man? How much my
mother has my mother left in me? How much of

(01:04:01):
my love will be insane to some degree? What about
this feeling that I'm never good enough? Whatch out water?
It always alright? So I'm gonna play a game. Let's

(01:04:22):
see how well you do today's National telephone telephone with
a minute by Alexander Graham Bell. So I'll give you
the I'll give you the inventor. Okay, it's actually kind
of easy. For example, if I said, Henry Judah Heimlich,
what did that person invent? Ahead, I'm like, maneuver, that's correct.

(01:04:45):
That's an example, not a point. Okay. So if Lunch
wins though he wins back all the Vegas money, but
you are giving him the advantage by giving him the
name of the person versus what what they invented? Yeah,
you're gonna play againstant I am yeah, you can. You
how the money if you win? Alright, ready, here we go.
Number one. I'll give you the inventor. Tell me what

(01:05:06):
they invented, Henry F. Phillips. Now, somewhere in that you
may find the invention Henry F. Phillips. I'm in for
the wind cars. That was Henry Ford, the lunchbox screwdriver,

(01:05:27):
the Phillips screwdriver. W did you win the emphasis on
the f You can get that on purpose? How about
camp Gillett? What did camp Gilette? That's a person Camp
Gilette they met. I'm in for the wind lunch box

(01:05:53):
disposable razors. I'll give you guys both that one. It's okay, okay,
how about this one? Cost Martin's what I'm sorry, Klaus Martins?
What do they invent? Okay, I'm in MH. I'm in

(01:06:14):
for the wind am Doc Martin's shoes, lunchbox dog martin
shoes da. Okay? How about this one? USL gol what
USL gal, I don't even use z I e L
last name gal g l u L golf. My goodness,

(01:06:38):
it's easy guys. Okay. And he's not playing. I'm in
for the wind. He's heckling the players. Amy the elevator,
the elevator, no chalauertially letters. Okay, I thought Woozy was

(01:07:02):
Oh okay, go like it. Jean Nicoti, La, maybe this
was a bad idea, NiCoT, what Jean Nicole nic Jean Nicole,

(01:07:32):
Jean Nico Okay, I'm in valet service, Nicotine correct sus,
I was just joking. Real one more worth five board?

(01:07:58):
Oh okay, sorry, I don't know. There's a love trickery
in this one. I don't like the five point. Rude
off diesel. What they invent? Well, you're talking about there's

(01:08:21):
trickery in here. Now say it again, rude off diesel.
That's one worth five points. I'm in for the wind. Okay.

(01:08:47):
You first, what do you have? Yeah, dieselven a diesel.
I need more specific answer. Place the diesel. I don't
know if it's a type of engine. Correct lunch box
diesels diesel engine? Oh? Yeah, sorry, no, yeah, no way,

(01:09:14):
no way, she answered, diesel I said, be more specific,
and then you're the judge. I mean, it's a big
difference in diesel gas and the engine diesel. Amy, Okay,
I'm wanna step out of this. I'm not the judge.
Eddie's the judge, Eddie. She said it was diesel. I'll
give it to Amy. Engine. I'm sorry, I let to box.

(01:09:38):
Your money stays on the whole until later day. Oh wait,
so do I get it? No? No, that was a joke, Amy, Yeah, right, Judge,
I read the questions. You said the fuel. I understand
that he didn't invent the feud done. Thank you. It's true,
very very good. She didn't. He didn't invent the diesel either,

(01:09:59):
engine like he said, all right, is that what she
has written? Thank you very much. That's a good point.
If she ever asked to specific. He's but Alex Trebek
on the Judge either, he's the host, and he says,
be more specific. Sorry, you play a song for a
hundred Alex. Oh boy, okay, I get out of here.

(01:10:24):
Dirk Spindley stopped by the house last night, and so
I do a show called the Bobby Cast, and he
was talking songs that his kids sing all the time,
and here's Dirk's and as part of the interview, just
him and I sing and call me maybe. Hey, I
just met you. This is crazy, but here's my number,
so call me maybe. And that's Carly right. We also

(01:10:46):
played the name drop game, where it's like, hey, no judgment,
drop your biggest name, Like, give me a celebrity story
that you just probably wouldn't tell normally because it felt
like your name dropping. Peyton is a friend account. That's cool.
It's a friend I wouldn't finish. I went fishing all
day long with Peyton Manning up in a northern Canada.
What's Manning like? So he's just like the guy on

(01:11:07):
the Papa John's commercial. Man. He's like laid back and
funny and good stories and easy to be around. And
I actually watched the very first game of the year
this last year with Peyton in a suite in Denver,
and we were watching it was so, you guys are
real friend like you would call Peyton. Yeah, that's extually
a moment. Yeah, we're talking about music, and so you know,
there are stories about Dirk's hearing songs like I think

(01:11:29):
I drive your truck and going I don't think I'm
gonna cut that one and then Lee Brans end up
getting in It was a huge hit, and so I
was like, hey, let's talk about that because there are
so many great songwriters in Nashville. And he was like
the caming point where I was touring all the time
and I couldn't write as good as stuff because I
when I was staying home and writing all the time.
So I would roll on these songwriters and I was like,
what song did you hear that you knew was a hit?
The you ended up going it's not for me, but

(01:11:51):
you knew it was hit, and he was like, dirt
on my boots. John Party's song, Dirt on my Boots.
I heard that song, I think before he before he
cut it, And what did you think when you heard it?
Huge hit? This is a monster, this is a huge song.
There's a lot in there about a tractor, you know,
And I'm like, that is I don't have that tractor factor,
you know, I don't have that thing. It's not what
I do. So like I could either try to change
the song to make it work for me or just

(01:12:13):
let it go and hope those guys, you know, I
want the songwriters, I want them to find for songwriters, man,
they might get one or two great These guys they
probably get five great songs a year, right, I don't
want to stand in the way. Someone's like baby, So
he was like yeah, And then John Party gets the
song turned into a huge it and he was like,
it's awesome, that's cool. Yeah, So I know he doesn't

(01:12:33):
have the tractor factor. You know what he does. I
don't guess not. I've never heard him sing about a tractor.
He's probably good, though, I mean, I was thinking he
could pull it off. That'd be interesting though, Like now
here if Dirk storted saying dirt on my boots, like
what that would be like? Probably it happens with every
artist all the time. Every artists has got stories of going, oh,
I shouldn't cut that song, and somebody else cuts it.

(01:12:53):
Like it's very common thing, and it's the songwriters come
into my house and they talk about it. And there's
one story in particular that's pretty amazing is Shane mcinally
was in Shane's a huge Rider in town and he
was talking about how they had written American Kids and
a little big a little big town song, and then
Kenny heard it was like, I gotta have it, and
so he called a little big Towns like I need
the song, and they were like, well we've already sort

(01:13:13):
of record again, they were whatever. Then Kenny gets it,
and then so that's kind of stuffy. Yeah, you know,
one day you'll listen to the Bobby Cast me. Yeah,
I have been a little bit. I'm listening to Jake
did the whole thing, Yeah, the whole thing. Yeah, and
then I'll listen to the dirt. It's just really from music.
Like if you really love music and you're not a
big music person, yeah, but I find and I love

(01:13:34):
when you share with us on here. I find this
stuff to be interesting, I promise. Yeah, no one's judging you.
You have big eyes right now. Yeah, yeah, you have
big eyes. Podcasts and Netflix and how to keep up.
It's like there's always something in my ears. You know,
I need to sit down and read a good old

(01:13:55):
fashioned book. You're not reading books. I tried to start
Charlotteagne's book My Husbands stile from me. Yeah, they make
more like it's not the only one. I give you mine,
the most recent one I ordered and it came quick. Okay,
well keep on trying show, let's go. Thanks for being

(01:14:18):
a part of the show. Today, Miranda Lambert was in
I hope you go back and hear that. You can
listen to the whole show. Just go to I Heart
Radio and search Bobby Bones Show on demand, or go
to iTunes and search it. After you hear today's show,
you can listen to the Bobby Cast. Last night, Dirk
Spentley was over at the house and we talked for
about an hour and a half about all kinds of stuff,

(01:14:39):
from flying to touring to the songs that his kids
make them know like this one. Hey, I just met you.
This is crazy, but here's my number, so call me
maybe and oh the other rules, try to chase me,
but here's my number. Call me maybe. And I think
you actually see that pretty goo. It's a weird thing,

(01:15:00):
like I'd like to hear him sing that, But that's
on the Bobby Cast. So search Bobby Cast and you
can find that. Yeah, we know, Dirk. Okay, we gotta
Derek's thank you. We'll see you guys on tomorrow's show. Again.
Thanks to Miranda Lambert for stopping by, and thanks to
Dirk's for somebody the house last night just so much.
So many people are coming by just talking to us. Uh,
that's it. Gotta go, Bye show.
