Speaker 1 (00:00):
Welcome in our number three Clay Travis buck Sexton show.
I appreciate all of you hanging out with us. Day
one of the DNC in Chicago is here. Joe Biden's
scheduled to speak, and as part of that speech, the
expectation is that he will pass the baton to Kamala
Harris and that he will be arguing that the best
(00:23):
way to continue Biden nomics is to actually continue with
his administration by elevating Kamala Harris as the next man
or woman up. Now, I thought this was interesting this morning.
Speaker 2 (00:38):
Buck.
Speaker 1 (00:38):
A couple of different stories that speak to the lack
of honesty I believe surrounding this story in general. First,
did you see the story about Mike Barnacle from Who's
a longtime columnist friend of Joe Biden out there to
(01:00):
discussing the dishonesty in the stabbing in the back of
Joe Biden. Mike Barnicle, according to Axios, has been walking around.
Speaker 3 (01:13):
Uh.
Speaker 1 (01:13):
This is according to Axios this morning, Joe Biden loved this.
He fund this is I'm quoting Axios. A former top
Obama official saw Mike Barnacle at Finway Park where the
Boston Red Sox Play said, isn't it great that effing
guy finally figured out he had to quit. Mike Barnacle responded,
(01:36):
F you and f your friends with their anonymous quotes.
Put your name on it next time. This story has
been circulating again, Axios reporting that Joe Biden loved this
story his longtime friend in media, Mike Barnacle. I don't
even know what Mike Barnacle's award winning print and broadcast journalist.
(02:00):
According to Mike Barnacle that Joe Biden saw this and
absolutely loved it. Why do I bring that up? What
you are going to see in theory? I mentioned the
idea that maybe has five percent chance, Joe Biden says,
and I'm leaving now, and I'm handing the reins to
Kamala Harris. I appreciate all of you. I'm riding off
(02:20):
into the sunset. We think he's got too much of
an ego to do that, so let's pretend he's not
going to do that. What he is going to try
to do is pretend that he is George Washington, that
he has done what is best for the nation, that
he is a selfless hero, and that Kamala Harris is
a uniquely talented politician who will continue to advance the
Biden cause.
Speaker 4 (02:41):
What else is he going to do? Right, admit that
he has sinility, perhaps dementia, and was part with his
media lackeys of a massive lie, which was the hiding
and lying about his cognition. For you know what I'm saying, No,
even the option is to just double down on the lie.
Speaker 3 (02:59):
At this point, there's nowhere else to go.
Speaker 1 (03:01):
Do you find it interesting that they have put him
on Monday, because I do find it only a bit
interesting that he's on Monday. They don't even give him
Tuesday or Wednesday. They buried him on the first day.
They want him over as fast as possible. This is
a The Biden speech is a formality. It is a formality.
It is something they think they have to do, but
(03:22):
it is not something that they are looking forward to.
And they know that people like you and me are
going to say, oh yeah, the guy that they were
telling was two months ago was Sharper's attack, the best
he's he'd ever been and is totally ready for former
years president. And now those same people are saying Kamala
Harris is.
Speaker 4 (03:37):
Full of joy and a beautiful future and we should
all think that she would be a great president too.
I mean their job is to lie, I think effectively.
Now for journalists, it's not even that they lie sometimes.
I think their job is to tell lies and occasionally
they tell the truth. So they're trying to sell the
idea of unity. But I wanted to share that particular
(03:57):
story that is out there about Biden not being happy.
This is also super interesting John Fetterman, Pennsylvania Senator, And
let's put I don't know if he'll come on. What
do you think about this?
Speaker 2 (04:09):
Buck?
Speaker 1 (04:09):
What if we invite Fetterman on the show. I don't
know that he would come on this show, but he
has been willing to do other shows. I'm going to
suggest let's put out an invite. I would bet he
won't come on, but let's offer him the opportunity to
come on. He's not going to come to Chicago, and
he's not coming to Chicago, partly because of his stance
on October seventh. He has been a full throated, to
(04:31):
his credit supporter of Israel and Israel's right to defend
itself against the terrorists and hamas who were located in
Palestine right now. They did a story on John Fetterman,
and I bet most of you have not seen this.
Fetterman gave his take on the situation in Israel when
he hung up listen to this book.
Speaker 3 (04:51):
I've never heard of this happening.
Speaker 1 (04:53):
His communications director on the record said I I don't
agree with him about Israel and Gaza. This is Carrie Adams,
Fetterman's communications director. I have a sense that his international
views are a lot less nuanced than my generation because
(05:15):
when he was growing up, it was might makes right.
And for my generation and younger, who of course are
the ones protesting this, they have a much more nuanced
view of the region. This reporter says, I've been a
reporter since nineteen ninety eight. I've never had anyone on
(05:38):
Capitol Hill or anywhere else on the record, off the record,
on background whatever, criticizing their person that they work for,
in the record, right after an interview. What would you
do if you were found I have to I think
you have to fire this woman. I mean, look, I
understand you might have a different difference of opinion, but
(05:58):
you work for me to immediately undermine my opinion in
an article where I I'm the elected official. If I
if I'm Fetterman. To have someone who works for you
on the record rip your opinion and say you don't
understand the issue enough is a level of disloyalty.
Speaker 3 (06:20):
I mean, you pay the.
Speaker 4 (06:21):
Person I think she wants. I think she probably wants
to get fired, okay, and will then get out of
some you know, sifting fact left wing ngo where she
gets to play the martyr role of I spoke up
in defensive Palestine against John Fetterman. There is such a
thing as so stupid that it's not believable. And I
think that's that doing this to speak on the record
and trash your boss in this way is really an
(06:45):
attempt to get fired in my mind, or else it's
the person so dumb that you'd have to fire them
because you should be afraid that they will, you know,
light light the office on fire by accident, by trying
to plug something in, or I don't know. I mean,
they're very dumb, So to me, it's bizarre unless it's
an attempt to get fired. But I think it also
goes to how delusional the anti Israeli position on this is.
(07:12):
They think their opinion is nuanced. They hate Israel and
blame it for everything, and in what way is their
opinion nuanced or what is this nuanced opinion that you
think she has and that might used to make right
but now it doesn't. First, so all Fetterman, he's like
fifty something, he's not even that old, correct, So you know,
in twenty years the whole world has changed from might
makes right to something else. It's a not only is
(07:35):
it a disrespectful statement, it's a stupid statement. So it
combines those two things. But I mean, I would say,
whether you're in politics or media, the moment someone is disloyal,
you need to get rid of them or else you
get what you deserve when you find out that you
should have gotten rid of in the first time, you
absolutely has to. And I'm not somebody ever celebrates people
(07:55):
getting fired unless they really really deserve it. I mean,
I feel badly for people, if anything, and I are
too nice, believe it or not, we're too nice.
Speaker 3 (08:02):
But this chick needs to get fired.
Speaker 1 (08:05):
I just I mean, for people out there, this would
be like we're doing a story about the show and
its successes, and we thank you for all of the
show's successes and all the cities that were number one
in we hang up and somebody on the staff is like, yeah,
I really hate the show. You know, I don't think
Clay and Buck are that good, And then that's in
(08:25):
the article, like you would have to fire them.
Speaker 2 (08:28):
I just you.
Speaker 1 (08:31):
We have lost and I think this is emblematic of
a younger generation. We have lost the ability.
Speaker 3 (08:37):
To understand that we can disagree.
Speaker 1 (08:39):
Here's what I would say, do you really think that
Fetterman doesn't understand the arguments that his communications director is making.
It's one thing if you are unaware of information that
could change your opinion on an issue. A lot of
people out there, I think, are still unaware, for instance,
of a lot of lies that they were told during COVID.
(09:01):
It's a willful ignorance, but they aren't even aware of
the other arguments. This isn't that to your point, Buck,
This isn't that complicated of an issue in terms of understanding.
Fetterman has considered the fact that he might be wrong,
and he's decided that this is his position as the
elected six year senator of Pennsylvania. I do think, though,
(09:24):
that this is important because they are selling the idea
that Democrats have never been more united, Everyone has never
been more excited to be behind Kamala. And you have
Biden furious at the fact that he was stabbed in
the back metaphorically and kicked to the curb. You have
Fetterman not showing up as a part of the most
integral state in the entire nation, Pennsylvania. You have Josh Shapiro. Yesterday, Buck,
(09:49):
did you see this? He said his schedule was too
busy to join Kamala on her tour of western Pennsylvania. oOoOO,
Josh Shapiro gave the so I'm going to wash my
hair tonight response to the date invite from Kamala Harris,
Like when you are a politician and the would be
president of the United States says, hey, will you come
(10:12):
help me win your state and you say, sorry, I've
got a scheduling issue. That is always a lie. You
make time for the would be president of the United
States if you at any way respect or are advocating
for them aggressively.
Speaker 4 (10:28):
Well, now to my earlier point about strategies versus egos, Clay,
if you're jos Shapiro, if you're Gavin Newsom, if you're
a Gretchen Witmer, you would never say this to anyone.
Maybe not even your spouse, do you actually want.
Speaker 3 (10:45):
Kamala to win? Million percent? They want her to lose.
Speaker 1 (10:49):
All of those people want Kamala to lose because if
she wins, you take eight years of you being president
off the table, because she's certainly going to be the
nominee in twenty twenty eight if she went twenty twenty.
Speaker 4 (11:02):
Not even just the possibility of the eight years of president.
That's obviously like the grand prize, right, that's the gold
medal that they're hoping to attain. But if you're Newsom,
if you're any of them, you get to create You
get to raise a huge amount of money and run
a national campaign and build up your profile and look
your your brand value regardless, right, And yes, you won't
(11:25):
get to do that for eight years if Kamala wins.
It's even more than just you can't be president. You
can't run Running for president. Look at some of the
Republicans who run for president is really just a pr
exercise for a lot of people.
Speaker 1 (11:38):
Well, not only that, it also clears up the challenge
of figuring out how you if you're a white guy
like Gavin Newsom or Josh Shapiro are the nominee with
a black woman who was vice president in front of you.
This is best case scenario for them. Biden get kicked
to the curb, Kamala gets elevated. If Kamala loses, her
political career is over, and then you are the fault
(12:00):
highest ranking Democrat out there. I think they probably want
to lose the Senate, and they probably want to lose
the House because it's for the best for them politically,
because it elevates their stature one billion percent.
Speaker 3 (12:12):
That's what's going on right now.
Speaker 1 (12:14):
I want to tell you it's a good time to
be reminded of the leadership and wisdom of President Ronald Reagan.
And there's a brand new movie coming out next Friday
that does just that called Reagan. Stars Dennis Quaid, great
dude who plays our late president. I was with Dennis
Quaid at the Tunnel to Towers golf event. He does
phenomenal work on so many different issues all over the country.
(12:37):
He does an incredible job playing Ronald Reagan. Jokes, twinkle
in the eye, optimism, love of country. You're going to
get a full history lesson on American politics, on fighting
communism back when that was actually important externally as opposed
to just internally, and while you're watching the movie, you
can't help but notice the parallels to what Reagan dealt
(12:59):
with in nineteen seven nine when he was running and
what life is like today forty five years later. Penelvn Miller,
actress playing Nancy Reagan. She's also outstanding true sense of
their love story. Movie in theaters next Friday, headed into
Labor Day weekend. You guys are gonna love this movie.
Reagan in theaters next Friday, just in time for the
(13:22):
end of summer.
Speaker 3 (13:23):
You're gonna love it.

Speaker 3 (13:41):
Welcome back into Clay and Buck.
Speaker 4 (13:43):
We are talking about DNC opening day today and Clay
and I are feeling a little bit like, oh my,
what would it be to be on the streets of
Chicago to see the.
Speaker 3 (13:56):
Eighteen foot tall twelve foot tall.
Speaker 4 (13:59):
I don't know, I d inflatable, iud that they have
to see the women dressed in costumes of abortion pills.
Some say Mitha and others say, Prestone, have you seen this?
Speaker 3 (14:12):
This is all real, This is all happened a chan
it like, it's like a team like that.
Speaker 4 (14:16):
They're but they have you know, they're like the pilastic
I get. Maybe you take two of them. I don't know,
but some of the pills say miff and some of
them say Prestone. At least that's what I saw, you know.
Gotta be careful with AI these days. My favorite, though,
of all, is so far the sort of campground sing
along with the Antifa and purple haired lunatics who are
(14:39):
all masked up.
Speaker 2 (14:41):
Now.
Speaker 4 (14:41):
I understand that there are This is one of those
things I argue with a lot of people to write about.
There are multiple reasons why they are masking. I will
concede that. But when they're not actually doing anything illegal
and they're just like standing out there playing, they're literally
playing the banjo in the street and saying, all you
fascists about to lose, all you fascists about to lose. Obviously,
(15:03):
their tune is a little better than mine. I'm not
gonna be unfair to them. They've got a little more.
Speaker 3 (15:07):
They might even have some jazz flute going on.
Speaker 4 (15:09):
I don't know, Clay, there's some jazz flute on the
streets of Chicago, so at least they got that going
for them, which is nice. I would just say, though,
they wear these masks because masks are for depth. For
a lot of Democrat leftists, masks are the equivalent of
maga hats. This has been true all along, This has
been true since during COVID. But to see them standing outside,
(15:32):
like fifty of them singing along with masks on, and
then they're worshiping like the giant inflatable IUD and the
abortion pills and they're giving out free vasectomies.
Speaker 3 (15:44):
Weird they want to talk about weird. These people are loons.
Speaker 1 (15:50):
Yeah, and think back to nineteen sixty eight when Woodstock happened,
because a lot of people are comparing the DNC in
Woodstock nineteen sixty eight with the Chicago and today and thinking, Okay,
how's this going to go? If you watch I'm surprised
they let us do this. I don't know if they
let you do this in your school, Buck, but we
(16:10):
had a teacher who put on a Woodstock documentary back
in the nineties in my public school, and there was
a bunch of nudity in it, and some of the
girls were pretty, and you know, I was like fourteen,
I was like, this kind of seems amazing. They had
a huge party, right, all of these incredible bands. They
had drugs sex rock and roll. If you're a teenager,
(16:33):
you're in your young twenties, that has a lot of appeal, right,
drug sex rock and roll not necessarily going to be
a stunner.
Speaker 4 (16:40):
Sounds like a lot of loud noise people. I'm not
sure about the food, but that's me.
Speaker 3 (16:47):
Think about where we are now.
Speaker 1 (16:49):
You have flute players in full on headgear masks, you
have the banjo player wearing a mask.
Speaker 3 (16:59):
I just I think it's such an interesting.
Speaker 1 (17:01):
Cultural evolution that you have gone from yay, drug sex
rock and roll to I gotta wear a mask outdoors
and I'm gonna go get my ball snipped.
Speaker 2 (17:14):
Yay?
Speaker 1 (17:16):
What has happened to hippies? Like hippies used to be
at least a little bit of fun, right, Like they
were counter culture. They were you willing to take risks,
and now they just sit around in masks begging for
their balls to get snipped. I mean, I'm sorry, hippies
have gone downhill in a big way.
Speaker 4 (17:34):
Also, I feel like, if you're gonna get the the
vasectomy surgery, like, I don't want it to be some
guy operating out of a van, you know what I mean.
I'd wanna if I'm gonna get snipped, I'd want it
to be by a license trained and reputable professional where
we have some kind of rapport.
Speaker 3 (17:53):
You know what I'm saying. I don't want this to
be fly by night.
Speaker 1 (17:56):
Hey, yeah, somebody grabbing your balls in a van and
starting to cut on them is not my idea of
a fun weekend. I'm maybe I'm in the minority there,
but that's what Democrats are signing up for right now.
It's good to have you back on the radio show, Clay.
You've got to think right here. By the way, put
that incredible lead in.

You love it.
Speaker 1 (18:59):
Welcome back in Clay Travis buck Sexton Show, joined now
by Charlie Gasprino. Fox Business got a brand new book out.
Going to dive into that and more. But let's just
start right off the top. How crazy was Kamala's economic
speech on Friday? From your perspective as someone that understands
the economy a little bit.
Speaker 2 (19:19):
Well, I mean, if you like what happens in Venezuela
at the old Soviet Union, it's completely normal. But if
you know you're if you're any sort of half Sentian
student of history, or you've taken econ one on one,
I don't even think you need to take econ one
(19:40):
on one. I think you just needs to balance a
checking account to understand. That was one of the dumbest
things I've ever heard in my life, particularly the sort
of cross contradictions, like she's going to get rid of inflation,
that's a big thing, but she's gonna like put these
price controls on stuff that's gonna limit supply. That's going
to make inflation even worse. I mean, that's been the
history of it. You know, when you start, you know,
(20:00):
mandating prices from what stuff should be depriced, government creating
an agency to do that, it's just it creates shortages.
It's it's dumb, it's it's feutile. I still can't believe
she's getting away with it as much as she is
with the mainstream media, because you know, business journalists generally,
you know, read balance sheets every now and then, at
(20:23):
least I used to a lot. You would think some
of these people, the New York Times and the and
the Wall Street Journal, not the editorial page, but you know,
the news pages that they had some sort of inkling
about basic economics. To laugh this thing out of the park.
I just think it's it's pathetic, and it's where Democratic
Party is going. I mean, I mean think about it.
(20:44):
Bill Clinton is going to speak at the d n C.
I think in two days, right, you know he when
he was president, he did just the opposite, just the opposite.
As a matter of fact, he's lower tech. He'd worked
with Newke Engrish of lower capital gains. He freed up
the the Internet. He did not impose massive regulations. It
created a vast new technology, you know, lower taxes in
(21:08):
his in his second term, he enacted welfare reform. He
did all the things that she is now running against.
It was Bill. She's actually running against Bill Clinton. And
it's fascinating what happened during the Clinton years, which was
especially that second term. It was a remarkable four years
of economic growth. And look what we got now. I mean,
(21:29):
it's just amazing where the Democratic Party has gone. It's gone,
it's gone wickedly socialist.
Speaker 4 (21:34):
Talking to Charlie Gasparino got a new book out, Go Woke,
Go Broke, the inside story of the radicalization of Corporate America. Charlie,
just back on the on the Democrat versus Republican view
of the economy right now. Obviously, Democrats are trying to
say that this is a strong economy despite the very
(21:55):
high prices and the inflation that has been a major
challenge for Biden all along. Do you think that this
is going to be an area where the propaganda just
is insufficient, as in, no matter how many times they
tell persuadable voters the economy is good, they feel it
themselves in a way where they know that's not true.
(22:16):
Or are you concerned that maybe they can fool people
on this one.
Speaker 2 (22:20):
Well, they they do have, you know, they do have
soldiers in their fight, which is most of the mainstream media.
You take a few you know, heterodox views out of
the mainstream media and it's it's very much a cheerleading
section for for this economy and for Joe Biden, for
Kamal Harris. What I do think though, that you know,
(22:42):
given all the cheerleading that's going into into the left
of these days from the media, particularly if you know,
on running against Trump, because I think that the mainstream
media generally considers Trump is, you know, sort of an
existential threat to democracy and know the world peace. Uh.
They look at him as you know, sort of another
(23:03):
level evil. Uh. And that's you know, they they wouldn't
look at it. If Ron the Santus runs. I'm not
saying he would have gotten a better shake out of
the mainstream meaning, but it would have been less sort
of it would have been less hot. Be that as
it may, Pump is still either winning right now or
just a little bit behind, even despite this love affair.
And the reason why that is is because people just
(23:25):
kind of know it. I mean, you could tell someone
they feel good, they should feel good, but if they
you know, you know how some doctors say, well, you should,
you're fine, but you feel lousy. Then you go and
get in second opinion, and all of a sudden, you know,
you realize you're sick. You know, most Americans don't when
you tell them they feel good, and they don't feel
good when they know that the rate of inflation is
(23:45):
down from its peak, but prices have not come down,
and they know their wages haven't kept up with those prices,
which is the obvious reality of the last four years.
There is no about a spinning And if you know what,
what what keeps Trump in this race, I think is
the fact that for all the stuff that he says,
(24:05):
and he says some things that he probably shouldn't say,
stuff that you know, gets him in trouble all the time,
the reality is when he ran things, the country was
in better economic shape than when Kamala Harris and Joe
Biden rant things and it's hard to spit out of that.
And that's why this race is close. It's also close
because you know, Donald Trump just does not He's not
(24:27):
run an effective campaign. That might change now kind of
seems like it is. Lately he seems to be honing
in on the message of the economy. You know, I
wrote a whole book about corporate wokeness. I mean, Americans
take that too. I mean, here, here's the thing I
will say. If there's one thing I kind of analogize,
and when when I think why, I think Trump is
(24:47):
probably going to win despite everything he says that gets
them in trouble. You know, when I did this book,
I one of the things that's so obvious is that
if you take Budweiser that went woke, wickedly woke the
woman as as essentially an influencer, Disney, which felt the
need to gratuitously insert same sex kissing scenes into children's cartoons,
(25:11):
Target which had its gay Gay Pride Month displays that
had tough friendly bathingsuits next to rainbow colored onesies, the
sort of leftism of the investment community through environmental social governments,
and what happened at black Rock at each of those instances,
and I'm leaving out many more that saw read it
in the book. The consumer rejected it viciously. The Blackrock
(25:36):
was two trillion dollars in assets on the management when
it became the sort of poster child for lefty ESG investments.
You know, Disney Stock hasn't moved since twenty fourteenth the
same price essentially, butdwise went from number one beer to
number three. Target had a scale back, its pride displace
because people weren't going shop. Will be the American consumer
(25:57):
hates well. Kamala Harris has declared Wokenes to be the
best thing since Slice Brent in the French Prize. She
said it will the American people support an uber woke
presidential candidate. The consumer won't do it. I can't imagine
voters are going to do it.
Speaker 1 (26:16):
Let's just talk bear bones here, straight economics, right, Let's
leave aside, because I love everything that you're saying about
the failure. I've been on this, buck and I have
been on this for a long time about go woke,
go broke and how it's destroyed brands. Was bud Light, Disney,
you name him, From a pure economic perspective, Let's say
(26:38):
that we know who wins the election on November fifth,
Wall Street wakes up on the morning of November sixth
and Kamala Harris is coming into office. What does Wall
Street do? What is the reaction in your mind?
Speaker 2 (26:54):
Well, there's two Wall Streets. Remember, there is the thing
known as the stock market, which in Jamie diamond and
Larry Fink in all those places, they don't really control that.
You know, that's millions and millions of individual people reacting
to news and using that that reaction to what they
see is coming in the future to bet on, you know,
(27:14):
corporate America's future. You know, whether earnings will go up
or down based on whatever policies come out of Washington
which will impact those earnings. So that's one thing. Then
you have the Street. You know, Jamie Diamonds Larry Think
you know, if he gets elected, they're going to go
on bendednee and you know, make nice with her because
they you know, if they act, you know, the financial
(27:37):
sector is a is a heavily regulated entity. Do they
go back to being woke? I don't think they do,
because they not only have to answer to Kamala Harris,
But they have to they have to answer to me
and you and Buck and and our wives and people
who just don't like this stuff. So that's another thing. Now,
the stock market's going to be interesting to see how
(27:58):
that reacts to Kamala because if you follow what she's saying,
you know, spending more money than we have, I mean,
does she raise corporate taxes that's usually not good for
her earnings? Does she you know? Does she uh? Does
she spend? Does she? Does she do price controls? Which
is absurd and you could lead to higher inflation, which
(28:20):
could lead to higher interest rates on bonds, which leads
the higher interest rates on mortgages. I mean, she could
be a hugely destabilizing factor if she gets in there. Now,
if she gets in there and now he has the
game plan this if you if you're an investor, because
I think about this all day, if she gets in
there with the Republican House and Senate, well then it's gridlock.
So maybe nothing happens, but who knows. I mean, remember
(28:42):
one thing the president does, to a large extent, control
the administrative state, which is hugely powerful, and it's and
it's extra it has it's lately it's grown in power
because of a lot of reasons. Because that makes it
more powerful than Congress is check and balances. So remember,
Charlie gets the point to people running the FBC, the SEC,
(29:03):
you know, all those alphabet agencies that are very important.
So it'll be interesting to see what happens.
Speaker 4 (29:10):

It's a phenomenal podcast lineup for your listening enjoyment. And
we've got some calls coming in here. Let's go Dave
in Omaha. What's going on, Dave, Well.
Speaker 2 (31:59):
It's great.
Speaker 5 (32:00):
Talked to fellow Jesuit High School alum. I wanted to
reaffirm claive comment about this being a gender election. I
was at the Tim Walls rally in Omahon Saturday and
it was seventy five percent women, easy, and out of
those women, most of them were public school teachers. And
(32:20):
there's a WRINT report of my or there's a link
to my written report at the blog The New Neo,
and I detail it all there. But I yelled at
at Tim, I said, why'd you let the Twin Cities
burn and I've about gotten a fistfight over that. And
before the rally, there were some Hamak Democrats out there protesting,
(32:43):
and I mean, if I didn't want to hold my
place in line, I would have gone over and.
Speaker 2 (32:48):
Gotten in a fight with them. I mean, I was
just outraged at those people.
Speaker 4 (32:53):
I'll tell you one thing, thanks for calling in the
female public school teacher demographic. Democrat will win that ten
to one. I think you're gonna have. You know you're
gonna have ninety percent plus of those voters are gonna
vote Democrat, no matter what Trump says, Clay, no matter
what Trump does.
Speaker 3 (33:14):
Please, I beg you, if you.
Speaker 4 (33:15):
Are a female conservative public school teacher listening to us,
you would be in the ten percent I'm talking about.
But ninety percent plus are gonna vote for Biden no
matter I'm sorry, Kamala, no matter what.
Speaker 1 (33:27):
Let me just say, kfab I believe Omaha we are
number one.
Speaker 3 (33:34):
I'm looking at you in the camera right now.
Speaker 1 (33:37):
There is a clear mathematical situation where Omaha, Nebraska could
decide the next president of the United States. For those
of you aren't aware, we have said this a lot
of times, but it is a bit abnormal. Omaha has
its own electoral college vote. Omaha, Nebraska is solidly bread
(33:57):
elsewhere in honor of the Cornhusker.
Speaker 3 (34:00):
But Omaha might well buck Look.
Speaker 1 (34:03):
Trump wins North Carolina, Georgia, Nevada, and Arizona, Omaha could
decide the presidential election.
Speaker 3 (34:12):
I'm not making that up.
Speaker 1 (34:13):
That would Trump could win the election and still lose Pennsylvania, Wisconsin,
and Michigan. Potentially if Omaha Nebraska supports Trump over Kamala.
You guys uniquely. I think of almost any city in
America could hold the presidency in your hands. We're number
one in that market. I had a fabulous time at
(34:34):
the College World Series. I love the people of Omaha, Nebraska.
You have a power in your hands that no city resident.
I really believe this in America otherwise, has you guys
can make Trump president of the United States.
Speaker 3 (34:51):
Omaha.
Speaker 4 (34:52):
Yes, well, if that's only if the math gets very
specific and they're the last.
Speaker 2 (34:59):
But it's not.
Speaker 1 (35:00):
It's not crazy to think that Trump would win North Carolina, Georgia, Nevada,
and Arizona as he's favored to do, and that Kamala
could sweep Wisconsin, Pennsylvania, Michigan. I hope it doesn't come
down to that. But in that scenario, Omaha would win
Trump the presidency or hand Kamala the presidency.
Speaker 4 (35:23):
Unfortunately, Omaha itself, as you know, has a lot of
Democrats the city, I know, And this is a challenge Nebraska,
oh my. And why didn't the state legislature do something
about changing this? That's the other question that I have.
It's a red state. But you know, some people the
traditions of their elections are very hard to very hard
(35:44):
to alter, unless they're Democrats, in which case all of
a sudden math can be altered. That doesn't really matter,
Marcus in Arizona. What have you got for us?
Speaker 2 (35:53):
Yeah, guys, I'm just wondering. There's got to be some
nervous Democrats out there about Biden speaking tonight. I mean,
he could go off the rails here and think the
whole ship.
Speaker 3 (36:03):
I mean no, and I don't think I don't think so. Marcus.
Speaker 4 (36:05):
I thank you for listening, and you're one of our people.
Appreciate you. I don't see it that way because they're
just trying to get through. They don't even care. I mean,
they'll pull the hook out and just pull them off
stage if they have to. This is just pro forma.
Biden's done, he's yesterday's fish, he's old news.
Speaker 1 (36:20):
And also if he were to go off the reservation
in some way, they would just say this is sad.
But this is why Kamala had to be the nominee.
So it would be a.
Speaker 4 (36:30):
Huge problem if he were still the nomin knee. But
since he's since he's done. But it is also interesting
that he gets to continue to be the president. Apparently,
you get to be the commander in chief and have
the nuclear codes and have dementia and that's fine.
Speaker 1 (36:44):
Thanks to six more months, basically five more months in
a long time, he's still in charge.
Speaker 3 (36:49):
Theoretically seems like a big deal.
