Speaker 1 (00:00):
Depending on what side of the ail you're on, she's
either one of the most beloved or most hated members
of the House. I guess this week is none other
than Congresswoman Marjorie Taylor Green. She's been a fighter in
the MAGA movement, fighting for America First and fighting for
her district. But the left hates her, and they hate
(00:22):
her so much that a group called the Free Speech
for People actually followed the lawsuit trying to kick her
off the primary ballot. They say that she violated the
fourteenth Amendment of the Constitution, that she was trying to
wage some sort of insurrection when it comes to January six,
So if you got that right, it's a group, a
(00:43):
liberal group called Free Speech for America purporting to stand
up for free speech, who are trying to kick her
off the ballot for things that she said, who say
that they care about election integrity and democracy, trying to
thwart just that and deny Georgia vote orters the ability
to vote for her. So raises some questions, doesn't it.
(01:08):
But she's a fighter and she's not backing down. So
we're going to get into that and a whole host
of other things like Ukraine, the Biden administration and why
Americans keep getting screwed and all of this. It's gonna
be an interesting conversation and I hope you enjoy it.
Stay with us for Congress Owen Marjorie Taylor Green cogres A,
(01:32):
Marjorie Taylor Green, thanks so much for joining the show.
Thanks for having me ar today. So, Congress, when I
met you a while ago at a Project Faritas event,
and I actually saw you again in the bathroom and
came up to you, not in like a weird way,
not not like what they did to you know, Kirsten Cinema,
but in a very nice way. And and I told
you you're so lovely, because the media tries to paint
(01:55):
you as all these different things, but I found you
to be absolutely lovely and so kind and sweet. Well,
thank you. I really appreciate that. You're right, It wasn't
in a weird way in the bathroom. So we do
want to make that, make that no, No, you were great. Um. Yeah.
The media, they basically have created a character that they
(02:15):
have sold to the public, um, ever since I became
a member of Congress, And it's not me at all.
And that's your comment, is the comment that I hear
pretty much all the time when people are saying you're
not at all like I thought you would be. And
my response as always, well, you know that's the media
has lied about me and presented me as someone that
(02:35):
I'm not. UM. So I very much appreciate any opportunity
to have to to you know, talk with people and
and let them get to know the real me. You know, what,
do you think the biggest misconception about you is? Um? Oh,
my gosh, there's several. Uh, I don't know. To be
honest with you, Lisa, I quit watching the news and
(02:57):
quit reading stories about myself because I found them to
be so abhorrent and awful. And they they create me
as someone to not be liked. They make me out
as if I'm angry or crazy or basically just unintelligent um,
which you know is completely unfair. But they they say,
(03:19):
give me all the isms, you know, or it's like
the racist, homophobic, um, you know, anti semitic, they give
me all. They put all those labels on me, and
none of them were true, and UM, you know that's
pretty frustrating. So I think people get the wrong idea
about me. Unfortunately, if they only know me through the
mainstream media. Do you think those attacks work anymore because
(03:43):
I mean, you know, how many times can they call
insert anyone races, you know, sex is all these different things.
Do you think that's sort of falling flat now because
of overuse? I do think they're falling flat, especially as
people are paying attention to the Democrats and the way
they're controlling our country. I mean, they'll they'll label someone
like me all these terrible names. But yet they're the
(04:06):
ones whose policies actually uh proved. They are those things.
You know, take for example, the squad in in Congress,
you know that I unfortunately have to work with on
a day by day basis. Um, they're truly anti semitic.
You know, those are the ones. Those are the ones
that we should be talking about being anti semitic. Um
and racists talk. Let's talk about race. Um. They always
(04:29):
use Black Americans basically for their votes. Yet they support
abortion and they're fighting for it right now. And abortion
has killed more Black Americans, uh than than anything. Abortion
is basically genocide of the of of Black Americans because
of how many black babies that have been aborted, and
planned parenthood targets these communities and so you know, Democrats
(04:54):
policies proved that they're racist. And we could go on
and on. I mean, look at the gun control policies. Uh,
and in cities where that increased crime, you know, and
if they cared about Black Lives matters, they would certainly
care about supporting law enforcement and reducing crime in these communities.
And after after that whole summer of the Summer of
(05:15):
rage and riots, uh, after George Floyd, you know, with
Black Lives Matter and Democrats funding Black Lives Matters and
all the riots that occurred, well, none of that money
ever went back to rebuild any of those communities that
they claimed they cared about. They all that money when
in in the pockets of the founders of Black Lives
Matters and apparently bought a bunch of million dollar mansions. Uh.
(05:39):
So there's things that we need to investigate there. But
you know, the Democrats are the party of identity politics,
but yet they really do nothing to take care of
the identities they supposedly say they care about. Well, I mean,
eugenics was the mission of planned parenthood. So um, but
you know, so have you ever just thought like this
(06:00):
is too much? You know, this just isn't worth it. No,
not at all. And I think that's what people don't
know about me, is I'm I'm not that kind of person.
I'm always used to, you know, finishing the drill, finishing
the job, following through on my task, completing the race,
completing the competition. And and I'm actually the type of
person um you know, once I dig into something, I
(06:23):
usually dig in deeper, and I'm stronger in my position,
I feel more confident, and I'll continue to fight until
I win because I'm I'm competitive in that way, and
I like to win, and I want to win on
things that matter. I think America is worth fighting for.
I'll give you for example, today, I've I've lit up
a tweet storm on my my my congressional twitter page.
(06:45):
I don't have my personal Twitter page anymore, tweeting about
this bill, uh, the the Ukraine, some supplemental that we
just got the text for the bill just a few
hours ago. That's spending forty billion dollars. And here we
are in a crisis right now where American mothers can't
find baby formula, you know, and here's our border wide open.
(07:08):
We're Fentonal is now the number one cause of death
uh in young people from age eighteen to forty five.
These are things that I think are worth fighting for.
Farmers in my district, oh my goodness, let me tell
you it's the saddest thing. Farmers are barely hanging on.
Small farmers, cattle farmers, chicken integrators. You know, food security
(07:28):
is national security, and the Biden administration, the Democrats, that's
not something they understand. So when we're in a situation
where American mothers can't find baby formula and are crying
and grocery stores and desperately searching for baby formula, and
we have our own farmers about to go out of
business and not be able to supply food for our country. Um, yeah,
(07:50):
I think America is worth fighting for and I will
continue to dig in and I just won't stop. Well,
you know, it's your point. There's this sort of collective
effort to to give you know, to the billions of
dollars to Ukraine right now. And you mentioned a list
of things that Americans are struggling with. Why do Americans
keep getting screwed because our government is completely corrupt? And
(08:12):
I don't say that lightly. I'm it is a serious problem.
And I've my eyes have been open to it actually
serving in Congress. I mean, it's it is unbelievable the
things that are These bills fund and give our Americans
harder and tax dollars too, but yet they do nothing
for Americans. I mean, look at President Trump when he
(08:34):
was first in office in seventeen, what was it he wanted,
like I think it was twenty six six billion to
build the wall. But today they're wanting to give forty
billion dollars to Ukraine. And you add that forty billion
on top of the money that we've already given that
that brings it the fifty three billion dollars that is
actually over two thirds of the eight Department's entire budget
(08:59):
for the year. That's just to put in, you know,
to conceptualize how much money we're spending in Ukraine. But
they do this because they fund um nonprofits, they fund NGOs,
they fund grants, grants that go to people, and and
you know, if you really look into it, a lot
of times it's their friends and families that operate these
(09:21):
nonprofits and NGOs and it's basically like money laundering schemes.
I mean, this doesn't this not only happens in Ukraine.
It happens at our southern border. Um, there's a lot
of nonprofits that that supposedly help migrants, and of course
we want to help people. It's it's not that we
don't want to help people. And you know, we we
want to have good immigration laws, but we want them
(09:42):
to be followed. But our American tax dollars get abused
because they go to these nonprofits and these NGOs and
and fund all kinds of grants that just go to
things that don't need to be spent when our own
own people are suffering. I mean, homelessness is record high
here in wash at m d C. It's pathetic. There's
(10:02):
so many homeless people. It's the saddest thing you've ever seen.
Veterans aren't taking care of um. You know, we've got
human trafficking happening at record high numbers. Young people, oh,
my goodness, young people. This generation of young people, children,
young people have just been cast aside and no one
even cares about them. And it's it is it is
(10:22):
to me, it's a complete failure and absolute failure of
our government. And it's just one big you know, our
tax dollars are like one big slush fund. For criminal
operations and it's it needs to end well. And to
that point, I know you've been looking through this Ukraine
funding bill. Has anything stood out to you of you know,
(10:43):
why is this in there? I mean among probably a
lot of things, but what stood out to you so far? Oh? Yeah,
I can run through a couple of things. Uh, fifty
four million dollars for COVID just for over there for
fifty four million dollars to be spent um screening and
and vaccinating and doing all these things for Ukrainian reference refugees.
(11:06):
But yet the Biden administration wants to get rid of
Title forty two, so that doesn't make sense. Uh, here's
another one. Nine hundred million is just like I was
talking about nonprofits and ngs. Nine hundred million is to
be given to qualified organizations and nonprofits which are basically
friends and family of politicians and you know, their so
(11:28):
called businesses to provide wrap around services, housing, medical services,
and everything you name it. They get it, including um,
you know, they're they're basically eligible for any help that
the US government will give them, and we're putting nine
hundred million dollars right there. Uh. Also here's there they
(11:50):
they can get entitlement programs in this bill entitlement programs.
Does that mean like all of our welfare programs. I mean,
it doesn't give it doesn't give a description. It just
says they're eligible for entitlement programs. UM. It gives basically
a slush fund for the State Department because it is
(12:10):
giving them. Let me look at it right here, uh,
A hundred and ninety million that is to remain available
available to UM. Then they get another additional ten million
dollars for capital investments capital investments in Ukraine. UM. And
then we get an additional four million UH for the
(12:33):
Office of Inspector General to remain available until four for
embassy security construction and maintenance. Uh. So apparently we're building
a brand new embassy in a in a country that
is currently you know, they're they're at war, but they're
putting all this money in place. But yet there's no
baby formula for American mothers. So that's that's just the
(12:57):
name a few things. I'm I'm trying to pull up
some more. Oh, here we go, UM, there's money. Wait
a minute, let me Oh, yeah, they've got money in
here for to defend Ukraine's border, but not to secure
our border, which is absolutely insane. They have here's the
amount of five hundred million dollars for the payment by
(13:21):
the Secretary of the Treasury to the European Bank for
Reconstruction and Development and its trust funds and facilities, five
hundred million dollars to remain available and until expended for
assistance and related programs for Ukraine and countries impacted by
the situation in Ukraine, so not just Ukraine, other countries.
(13:43):
And then they have for the globe for Global Agriculture
and Food Security program a hundred and fifty million dollars.
But yet our farmers are literally on the verge of
going out of business. I talked to them all week
last week in my district and they they're getting hurt
so badly by inflation, high fuel costs with diesel fuel.
(14:05):
I mean everything that the chemicals for their field cost,
war money, fertilizer is outrageous, the cost of feed for
their for their stock, you know, you name it. They
can they're barely they're not even breaking even right now.
But we're going to give all this money for global agriculture.
It's just it's America laughed at every single term. Do
(14:26):
you think people realize that no, no, they don't know.
They don't know because they only see the headlines that
the media puts out um or the way the name
of the bill. You know, a lot of these bills
have really nice names. They sound fantastic when you when
you read the name of the bill, and that'll be
(14:47):
what's talked about in the news, and then the news
will be like, we're helping the Ukrainian people, which all
none of us want anyone to be hurt or weren't.
We don't want this to be happening to innocent people.
But yet they totally ignore the fact that guess what,
Ethiopia is having a civil war right now. There's thousands
of people that have been killed and millions have been displaced.
(15:08):
So it's it's such a hypocrisy. It's not really about
saving lives, but it certainly is about Ukraine. You know
what I mean. Well, I mean the hypocrisy is just
all around, and it's continuous, and there's never any accountability
for anyone on the left. You know, for instance, you've
come under fire for some of the things you've said
about January six, and in fact that I want to
get into the group called the free speech for people
(15:31):
who actually try to thwart you off the ballot in
a minute. But Chicago Mayor Laurie Lightfoot recently tweeted to
my friends in the LGBTQ community, the Supreme Court is
coming for us next. This moment has to be a
call to arms and actual cold arms, is what the
Chicago mayor said. Yet you know, where's the where's the
(15:52):
accountability for that? And actual called arms? Oh absolutely, I
retweeted her, asking, you know, is this an ins direction?
Are you declaring a civil war? You know what's really
disturbing about her tweet other than the call for arms,
call to arms, you know, she's calling for people to
pick up guns and go fight for something that is
in her head. Nowhere is the Supreme Court talking about
(16:16):
ending um l g b t Q plus or whatever
she said rights that we're talking about abortion. They're talking
about overturning Row versus Wade, which sends it back to
the states to be able to regulate and make their
laws when it when it comes to abortion, each state
individually on its own and that has nothing to do
(16:36):
with lgbt Q rights. But yet this woman, the elected
and current serving mayor in Chicago, is calling for a war,
which is absolute insanity and and it's dangerous. But yet
here she is the mayor of Chicago, which has one
of the highest murder rates in the United States um
(16:56):
and also the strictest gun control. So it's like, wait
a minute, you're for strict gun control, your city is
one of the worst in the country, but you're calling
for everyone to pick up pick up your guns and
go fight for for your lgbtwo key rights that are
not being threatened at all by the Supreme Court. She's unhinged,
absolutely unhinged. She should be removed, she shouldn't be mayor. Well,
(17:21):
but there's just never any accountability. Maybe the incoming pre
secretary tweeting that the Georgia gubernatorial election was stolen from
Stacy Abrahams. We have Nancy Pelosi in tweeting our election
was hijacked. But you know, again, never any accountability. Take
a quick commercial break back with Congresswoman Marjorie Taylor Green
on the other side, there is an actual attempt to
(17:44):
try to kick you off. The primary about the group
is called free Speech for People Correct, which is obviously
they don't believe in free speech, and this was allegedly
done in an effort to preserve democracy, elections, whatever, whatever,
when they're actually trying to disqualify you from the ballot
and deny Georgians the ability to choose, which you know,
(18:05):
I can't think of anything that's more in ethetical to
democracy than that. But a judge fortunately knocked down their
attempt found you qualify to run for office. The Secretary
of State than accepted that judges ruling. But for those unfamiliar,
walk us through what they're trying to do and what
you just went through just defending your right to run
for office. Well, this this attorney group, their nonprofit I
(18:29):
think there are five oh one C three or five
oh one C four Free speech for people. Yes, that
is that is a hilarious name for for an attorney
group that's trying to get rid of, like you said,
completely annihilate people's freedom of speech by taking away their
ability to vote for who they want to represent them
in Congress. Um that that's that's one part you can't
(18:49):
even make up. They're funded, So they are a funded
attorney group. They asked for donations. Um, they're funded by
other five oh one C three's other foundations, So it's
kind of dark money. If you can imagine it. When
it's transferred from one group to the next, you can't
really track who the actual donors are, but you only
get the donation the foundation or or group names. But yeah,
(19:12):
free speech for people. Attorneys from New York and Massachusetts.
They decide to come down and meddle and urge for elections,
claiming that that using the Fourteenth Amendment, Section three on
the Fourteenth Amendment, claiming that, uh, that I somehow waged
an insurrection against the United States of America, which I
(19:34):
absolutely did not. Um. But they they are making that claim.
Now they're doing this not only to me, but they're
doing it to a number of elected Republicans. So I'm
not the only one. But my case got completely out
of control. Uh. Each state is different, Each state has
different laws. So in my state of Georgia, it just
(19:56):
so happened that this case went to the Administrative Law
Court where a judge allowed them to subpoena me onto
the witness stand as their witness, where they could question me,
you know, about anything they wanted to ask me. Um.
So I had to go on the witness stand. I
was there for nearly four hours, where they asked me
(20:16):
over and over all kinds of insane questions. Um. The
only thing I did on January six is I objected
to Joe Biden's electoral College votes. I would do that
again today. I would do it again tomorrow because of
the amount of voter fraud that I believe happened there,
and because there were over two thousand American Americans who
(20:38):
signed their name uh stating that they witnessed voter fraud,
and they did that at risk of perjuring themselves in
a court of law. So I objected on January six, Um,
and that is legal. That's the same thing that Democrats
have done in the past three Republican presidential elections. UM.
So they definitely believe in doing it. But this attorney group,
(20:59):
you know, they targeted me. Um. They had to find
voters in my district. That was one of their requirements,
and they found five voters. And these five voters, it's
it's kind of funny. One of them happened to be
the Democrat chairwoman uh for my district, so she there
was clear a clear political uh uh purpose and why
(21:23):
she was one of the voters. And I think a
couple of them were from Canada. They had moved just
to move there from Canada, so they weren't really a
very good representation of most people live in my district.
But out of over seven hundred thousand people in my district,
congratulations to free speech for people, they found five voters
to do the silly lawsuit with them, and um, I
gotta tell you it was it was absolutely absurd. They
(21:46):
even ended up playing a clip from the movie Independence Day. Uh,
And I mean I was embarrassed for him and how
stupid they looked. But they were claiming that I supposedly
got my ants for ration from Independence Day, which I
did not. I don't I'd seen that movie maybe fifteen
(22:06):
years ago. I don't even know, but it was it
was pretty it was pretty bad. Well, you don't also,
if Nancy Pelosi can question elections and the incoming White
House Press Secretary can question elections, you know, so can we,
particularly when it's the first time we've used mail and
ballots on that scale before. So it's sort of skeptical
that no one has any concerns about what went down,
(22:28):
you know, given that. But I feel like CNN sort
of gave away the game a little bit. I was
reading an article about it uh, and it said that
if the effort is successful against Green, there's a school
thought it could be used against Trump in so mean,
is that basically what this was against you? And I
know they try to do it to Madison called Thorne
as well as I believe Congressman go Star and Andy Biggs.
(22:50):
My understanding I think I've read that as well, is
that what this was is just a practice run to
try to use this against President Trump potentially running again.
I think it it's a combo of two things. I
think they definitely wanted to get us off the ballot.
They know they can't beat us at the ballot box
in November. They know that we have strong support in
our districts. Were also the group they have targeted, um,
(23:15):
you know, me and others where some of the like
toughest fighters in Congress. We were the most conservative members
of the Freedom Caucus. That's who they mainly targeted. And Um,
so they were hoping to be successful. But yes, I
do think they were also hoping to find like loopholes
in the law, hoping to be able to do this
(23:35):
to President Trump, you know, in twenty four So they
they would have loved to do it. Um, Thankfully, the
judge in my case completely ruled against them, and our
Secretary of State has already signed off. So my name
is on the ballot and no one's freedom of speech
in my district has been taken away by these these people.
(23:58):
But I do think that, you know, they need to
be disbarred, these attorneys. They shouldn't be allowed to politicize
our courtrooms like this. They shouldn't be able to bring
these type of frivolous challenges that that cost me a
lot of money, cost other people a lot of money, um,
and put a lot of stress on people. It's it's
completely unfair. So that that is damage that they've done
(24:21):
to me over this this ridiculous uh case they brought.
And I plan on, you know, making sure that I'm
made whole again against these people. We said to take
a real quick break and then we're going to get
more from Congress when Marjorie Taylor Green stay with us.
(24:41):
But what's concerning is there there just seems to be
this increase mass weaponization of either the law or the government,
you know, against conservatives. And when we saw this during
lockdowns attempts to force vaccinations with the CDC was tracking
Americans to see if they're complying with COVID lockdown orders.
You know, obviously, the d O, j FBI against President Trump.
(25:01):
We've got a Ministry of truth now, even the Post
Office has admitted to spying on Americans social media accounts. So,
I mean, what do we do in in in the
wake of this, when we've just got this mass weaponization
of both the law and the government against us. Well, Lisa,
I mean, you just name the list that should be
(25:22):
the most alarming thing. It should fright probably missing something, Yeah, yeah,
we could add some more, but you just named a
list that should frighten every single American and our government
is it's not it's it's not the same government. It's
it's a regime. It's their communist They are waging a
war against America. I mean that's how I look at it.
(25:45):
Look at the FBI and the Department of Justice. They
are completely political weapons against the political enemies of the Democrats.
So anyone that went inside the capital on January six,
whether they just walked around or they actually fought police
officers or broke their way in, no matter what level
they were on, they have become political targets. They have
(26:08):
been arrested, they're being prosecuted, and some of them are
still held held in jail to this very day. Um,
the Ministry of Truth is absolutely absurd. And I mean
that woman. We have a lot to say about her. She's, um, yeah, Nina, Nina.
She's written quite a book, but she's she's one that
(26:29):
I mean imagine it's torturous enough just to listen to
her seeing but the very idea that they can make
her the decision maker of what's true and what isn't true,
and she's she's just a clearly far left progressive woman
that seems miserable in her own right. And I just
feel sorry for her child, uh, to have that kind
(26:51):
of mother. But she she clearly hates hates everyone, She
hates all of us, and they put her in charge.
And then we've got the Press secretary. Oh my, I'm
excited about the new Press secretary actually, given the fact
that she and I both agree that elections can be stolen.
So that's that's a good thing, you know. Um. But
there's so there's so many bad things I think Americans
(27:11):
have to wake up to. At least you said the
perfect list. I mean, CDC is using geofencing data. We
got the FBI using geo fencing data tracking our every movements.
But yet everyone's uh calling foul and about two thousand
dules and saying, oh, the fact checkers are like, no,
that's impossible, that didn't happen. You can't do that. That's
(27:32):
not even true. That's the big lie, you know, it's
it's absurd. So I think what everyone needs to do
is they need to double down, make sure they vote
and never elect Democrats again, because they're they're not They're
not American Democrats. They're america last globalist communist. Well, and
of course the arny is Nina, the Minister of Truth,
(27:54):
has bought into every you know, disinformation, fake narrative there
is on the left of all the Russia Gate, and
the list goes on. So uh, you know, obviously she
can't spot a lie when she sees one. Uh. You know,
I know you're on a tight timeline today. Anything else
you want to leave us with before we go, well,
I think I just want to let everyone know that there,
(28:16):
that there's America is still here and it's worth fighting
for and I'm committed to doing that. And and there's
people like you, Lisa who are willing to do shows
to get the truth out and and interview people like
me um, which I'm really grateful for. And I hope,
I hope people listen and find out that I'm not
the person that they maybe think I am from the news.
(28:37):
But but we have a lot, we have a lot
of work to do. This isn't going to go away overnight.
This is going to take a commitment and and in
order to get our country back on track, it may
take us ten years, but it's worth doing. And we
have to finish the drill. We have to finish the job,
and we have to complete this very important task in
front of us, and I'm committed to doing that. Well.
(28:58):
I appreciate your time, Congress, and thanks so much for
joining the show. Thank you, MHM.
