Speaker 3 (03:21):
Oh joe y'all Phoenix sun fired Boodenholder them. Yeah.
Speaker 2 (03:29):
The Sons became the third team in the NBA history
to start the season eight one or better and missed
the playoffs, they joined the nineteen seventy Detroit Pistons and
the two thousand and oneh two Milwaukee Bucks. KD is
looking to leave the Suns. Oh Joe, who should be
held accountable for the Sun's failures. But uh, you look
(03:51):
at it, before kat got there, were the Suns playing?
Well were they feeling before Katie got there?
Speaker 3 (03:56):
Uh?
Speaker 2 (03:57):
Proorly got there? What day they was in the NBA?
Then there NBA Finals, NBA Finals win they lost to
In twenty one, they lost to the Bucks and in
the NBA Finals and then they lost in what they
beat the Clippers one year without the year they went
(04:18):
to the finals. The next year they beat the Lakers,
and then then they lose two other sons, I mean
the Nuggets.
Speaker 3 (04:29):
They.
Speaker 2 (04:33):
Lost to Luca, to Dallas. There was the number one
seed that ended up losing to Luca.
Speaker 1 (04:41):
You know what, when it comes down to it, I'm
assuming you can some of the blame does go go
on the players.
Speaker 3 (04:46):
Some of the blame can't go on Kevin Durant.
Speaker 1 (04:48):
I'm not sure how much of it you can put
on one individual player when collectively, obviously there is a
group of five that have to play and have to
jail together, you think, obviously, when you have these super
teams or Braggy Bill and Devin Booker and Kevin Durant
coming together, you expect the results. Obviously showing the court,
obviously the match ration. It didn't work, the relationship between
him and Bulden. How do you say the coach's name Boutonhozer, Butenhozer.
(05:13):
Obviously things didn't work, especially the way it started out.
It started out really good and obviously eight and one,
but you know, not making the playoffs or play in
for that matter.
Speaker 3 (05:23):
I mean, it's it's it's horrible. Everybody has to be
held accountable.
Speaker 1 (05:26):
Obviously most of the most of the criticism and the critiquing,
and we'll go to the superstar players, especially one of
the greatest scores of all time. So I guess he can.
He can, he can, he can take that criticism. Obviously,
them not making the playoffs.
Speaker 3 (05:39):
He's easy.
Speaker 1 (05:40):
He would be a part of the problem if he
wasn't part of the goddamn solution for that matter.
Speaker 3 (05:44):
I mean, this is the fourth coach in four years.
Speaker 2 (05:47):
They fired Mighty Williams, they fired the Lakers coach, Bogul Bogo,
They fired, but they could find Bud.
Speaker 3 (06:01):
Yeah, they're about to be on their fourth coaches. Now.
Speaker 2 (06:04):
Bud got three more years at ten million. Vogel had
had several years at like eight million. And I know
my uh haves a have tons of money, but you
got to you gotta stay the course a little longer
than a year.
Speaker 1 (06:23):
Yeah, that's the problem when when it.
Speaker 3 (06:27):
Comes to owners obviously in life.
Speaker 1 (06:30):
In life, the way they fix things most of the
time when you see a pattern like this where you
keep firing coach after coach after coach after coach, is
sometimes you just throw money at it and you think
it fixed the problem.
Speaker 3 (06:43):
That's how it works in the business world.
Speaker 1 (06:45):
When it comes to the sports world, you throw your
money at it, and then you allow it time to manifest.
Let it marrn it for a little bit, until look
in jail, until it all works out.
Speaker 2 (06:56):
I believe all. I think the only player that's going
to be there is Devin Buker. He's the player that
started there. I think KD is gonna be gone. Bradley
Bill is gonna be gone now. Brandley Bill is a
little bit more tougher than KD. For the simple fact
Bradley Bill has no trade clause, so he has he
has to sign off on where you're going to send it. Yeah, KD,
(07:19):
you know there's gonna be a lot of teams, but
you got to replace what you gave up.
Speaker 3 (07:23):
You gave up a bunch of first round picks and players.
Speaker 1 (07:26):
Where you're saying replace, you won't. You will never get
the value of what you got for KD. But you
can't get something.
Speaker 2 (07:32):
Yeah, you gotta get you when you got to refill
the conference up, you got to get draft capital back, right. Uh,
it's tough, man, It's tough because KD play fault that
he came half the year with money.
Speaker 3 (07:49):
They pried money after the season.
Speaker 2 (07:51):
Hired Vogel, fired Vogel hired a Butonholzer fired him. Now
they're about to be on their fourth coach, but KD
won't be there up under him. I think Book stays.
I think Book is the only piece that stays. They're
gonna try to move, but that's what happens. People just
think it's more to billing a team than putting three
guys that can put the ball in the basket, right,
(08:13):
And that's what everybody think. Just oh o KD, Oh
book man, KD gonna GI twenty seven, Book gonna g
twenty seven, Brandon Bill gonna go be twenty seven. Okay,
that's probably willing good until they don't do that, eh,
because they don't fit.
Speaker 3 (08:27):
The pieces don't fit O Joe.
Speaker 1 (08:29):
Right, Hey, you know what when you think about it,
obviously you say those names, you say those things, and
understanding what they can do, they know being able to
score at all three levels.
Speaker 3 (08:38):
Put the ball on the floor, catch a shoot, pop
and shoot whatever it may be. I'm thinking, what hell,
man they finish be? Boy, they gonna be.
Speaker 2 (08:46):
They're gonna be a It will be the same if
you put Chase Jefferson and ty Reek, call them the
same team.
Speaker 3 (08:52):
You got one ball, one ball. Hey, listen, just the
thought of that, Yeah, just the thought of that. Strike
up the.
Speaker 2 (09:04):
Band and see you look at the Patriots. The piece
is always fit. M one guy, got got a lot
of mostly the catchers, and then everybody fit in after that.
Speaker 3 (09:15):
Right, Look you get KD.
Speaker 2 (09:16):
Who's KD even MVP Finals, MVP four time scoring champ. Right, Okay,
he really doesn't need the ball, Bradley Belding Booker didn't
need the ball, but what they needed. See, they put
they shifted a book to the point he can play
it but books and two he don't need to be initiated,
no offense. If you look at book he had the
(09:37):
best years he has CP three. CP three was a facilitator.
CEP three knew how to get everybody where they wanted
the ball where they needed the.
Speaker 3 (09:45):
Ball to be the most impactful.
Speaker 2 (09:47):
Right, But when you have all this, you got one
hundred and fifty million dollars in payroll with three guys,
Oh Joe, something gotta go, Yeah, you got you gotta Hey,
you got this big fancy house. You buy a big
fancy house and you on a budget. Well guess what
be like? Oh Shannon Sharp ain't had nothing but a
TV and then the bed in the bedroom. Come to
(10:10):
the house, ages you'll be sitting on the floor like
Indian style. That's all I got for you. That's what
I had. That's that's all I had. I over extended myself.
I got a house that was outside of my budget, right,
so it wasn't no sense in me going more over
budget and putting furniture, a whole bunch of furniture in there.
Speaker 3 (10:28):
I got a bed and I got a TV. That's it.
Speaker 2 (10:31):
Let me tell you how long ago to ben oh Joe,
I know you didn't know this, but mister Bishi used
to make TV's.
Speaker 3 (10:37):
I remember that. I had a mister b U Joe
did got in missus b yep, I ain't heard that
in a long time. It was a it was a tool.
It was a tool TV. You know, I I ain't
had no money putting on then.
Speaker 2 (10:56):
Yeah, TV that went on the wall with ten fifteen,
twenty five dollars. Put this thing up on the putt
this thing up on the chair. I can see cause
you know we're going to we put it on a chair.
Speaker 3 (11:08):
Phone. But you had a little TV or you had
a big foot mall. That was foor models.
Speaker 1 (11:12):
Yeah, we put we put our TVs. Obviously at grandma place.
We had the crates remember the crates of Christ. Yeah yeah,
milk crate.
Speaker 3 (11:20):
Yeah, we put we put out, we put out right,
you have a floor model TV. Oh Choe floor model TV. Picture. Yeah,
but they have sound, the had the sound. See how
we do that? Oo? See how we did that? Right there?
Get us on one more floor model TV. Y'all remember
Sony Savania Zena. There was the big My grandma had
(11:43):
the big Zena.
Speaker 1 (11:44):
Remember with the r C A with the megaphone, with
the dog, Yeah, and that's still bag. Hold on, I
bet you remember the satellites though, the big.
Speaker 2 (11:54):
Yeah.
Speaker 3 (11:54):
Yeah, my granddaddy had one of the big old sate.
Speaker 2 (11:57):
Yes, I remember that, like yesterday. That's what it's because,
I mean, if you go back and look at the
beginning of the year, the Sons were twenty to one
odds to win the NBA title and better off than everybody.
Speaker 3 (12:09):
Damn mean, everybody except probably Boston. Boston. Yeah.
Speaker 2 (12:21):
Mmmm, it's it's just it's it's a it's a bad
it's a it's I don't know.
Speaker 3 (12:27):
But where where does where does KD go? Miami? You know,
I'm always you know, I'm always saying Miami. Now obviously
gonna happen.
Speaker 1 (12:34):
What y'all gonna give up the gudd I don't know,
that's not that's that's up the pat rally, Mickey Rison.
Speaker 3 (12:39):
I'm not sure what that looks like. But as long
as we keep man, we're gonna be.
Speaker 1 (12:43):
Alright, I think, and finding some other pieces that we
can get from somewhere else. We got we got to
have some. But I'm just I think it would be
great it would be a great place. I think KD
might have a house down here. I'm not sure I've
seen him down here.
Speaker 2 (12:55):
That got the money. You got his house everywhere? Yeah,
crazy do it quite well for himself.
Speaker 3 (13:04):
Yeah, yeah, I just I just listened. We need to start.
We need to do what the Lakers do.
Speaker 1 (13:09):
Always find a way to pull one out our I
would getting ready to curse.
Speaker 3 (13:13):
I'm not gonna curse.
Speaker 1 (13:14):
Pull one out our hat. We need to do that
your hat. Riley needs to do that just to get you.
Have you seen the tennis at the games. It's not
what it it's not what it should be.
Speaker 2 (13:23):
All. They don't come to they don't come till late anyway,
y'all don't be there to talk.
Speaker 3 (13:27):
I look, I done been to Miami. He game.
Speaker 2 (13:28):
I went for the championship game and yeah, and at
the start of the game, I'm like, well, damn, do
y'all really know this is the NBA Finals?
Speaker 3 (13:35):
Yeah, yeah, you're right, you're right.
Speaker 2 (13:37):
I remember they were leaving in that game six before
Ray hit the shot.
Speaker 3 (13:41):
Y'all hap, Yeah, and they tried to come running back.
They come back in now, No, that ain't happen.
Speaker 2 (13:49):
I'm trying to think I first of all, they're only
a handful of teams that have the draft capital that
they're gonna need to get KD. And the question is
are they willing to break it up? Okay? See have
the capitol?
Speaker 1 (14:00):
Who?
Speaker 3 (14:01):
Okay, see thunder They got like thirteen first round picks.
Speaker 1 (14:04):
Hey, can you imagine? Can you Imaginega and Kevin Durant?
Speaker 2 (14:08):
Yeah, we said the same thing about Devin Booker and
Kevin Yeah we said we said the same thing about
James Harden and Joel and be right, can you imagine
now James Harden has found the fountain of youth. He's
playing even looked like the James Harden the boat. Yes,
(14:30):
why he why got those nees healthy? He looks phenomenal.
Speaker 3 (14:34):
I just.
Speaker 2 (14:38):
I don't KD strike me as a guy that that
that that lives with regret or looks back on. But
probably maybe a better moved. We've probably been going to
the Knicks, hey.
Speaker 3 (14:49):
Like you should have done the first time instead of
instead of going to Brooks. That's what I'm saying. Maybe
going to the Knicks from the jump. I don't know
now right they might be an option. I don't I
don't know.
Speaker 2 (15:00):
I'm just saying instead of going to Brooklyn, maybe go
to the go to the next Maybe things would have
been different different. We'll never know, We'll never know. We
just know this has gone horribly wrong. This is there's
nowhere around it. Look, we don't have to blame anybody,
but we can say this, but equivocally.
Speaker 3 (15:22):
This was terrible. Yeah, it was. It was thunder.
Speaker 2 (15:30):
Phil Dylon Jones car with packing peanuts because he failed
his rookie duties keeping the team speaker charge.
Speaker 3 (15:37):
Oh Joe, check out the video. You don't do.
Speaker 5 (15:40):
It's hard packing pet up.
Speaker 3 (16:01):
You don't like we go to the ups door or
stuff like that. Your duties, bro.
Speaker 2 (16:16):
You better you better have a service to come detail
and get that out of the.
Speaker 3 (16:24):
Glad they put that.
Speaker 2 (16:29):
Better be glad they put that pop put popcorn in there. Yoo,
you know you used to put popcorn in there.
Speaker 1 (16:34):
Hey, that boy, that's gonna mess up your I'm not
sure what type of interior he would have had if
they put popcorn. Listen, a little styrofoam thing. That's cool,
that's not bad. That's not hard to get out. Obviously,
it's it's gonna be a pain. He's not gonna do it.
Himself obviously, but still, oh man, they got me by accident.
Didn't know my windows were down when I was a
(16:56):
rookie with the Bengals. I can't I don't know who
did it still to this day. But they took the
fire extinguisher and they did the outside, not realizing my
windows was down because it was nighttime. They had snuck out,
the they had snuck out the I forgot.
Speaker 3 (17:11):
We were in Kentucky.
Speaker 1 (17:12):
At training camp and they snuck outside and spraying my
whole car. Didn't realize my windows was down, my whole inside.
They had the I S three hundred, the little Lexus, Yeah,
with the Swede interior.
Speaker 3 (17:26):
Yeah, they messed up.
Speaker 1 (17:28):
They didn't messed up all my material man messing around with
the fire extinguisher.
Speaker 3 (17:33):
Yeah, oh they get you. They take the rookie duty. Serious.
Speaker 2 (17:36):
Yeah, very very very very breakfast sandwich uh uh uh
chicken to the plane.
Speaker 1 (17:43):
Yeah, when it's time to leave, when you travel, yea,
the lineman, I'll never forget. Don't forget that pop eyes. Hey,
they said y'all. They say y'all over the damn place.
Speaker 2 (17:54):
Got your bringing ribs and sweating up, sweating sou hanging off. Hey,
I don't think you'll make that mistake again. But it's
almost over. Yeah, it's almost over. You only got like
another month and a half or until you run into
the Lakers.
Speaker 3 (18:12):
They seemed to be overhead. That'd be the end of that.
Speaker 2 (18:16):
Colorado is retiring your doors number two and Travis Hunter's
number twelve. The school announced number two and twelve will
officially be untouchable. The haters are out in full force.
Many pointed out that Florida hasn't even tired t Bow
and he won two national championships and a Heisman. Brandon
I played with fifteen at Texas Tech nine at the LSU,
(18:38):
two of the most historic quarterbacks in college footballs, and
neither had their jersey retire by see you basically what
somebody else got based on what somebody else didn't get,
gets your trouble every time, all the time, get you
in trouble every time. I can't worry about who jerky. Hey,
I did what I did? Savannah State would thaw enough
(18:59):
of me? They retired my jersey. I'm humble, I'm honored,
But if they had, what was I gonna do? I mean,
I'm just trying to figure out, Okay, I don't. But
why who cares? Don't joke right right?
Speaker 3 (19:21):
I mean, listen, they decided to retire.
Speaker 2 (19:24):
What LSU does a l s U. What Florida does
at Florida that impact Colorado? It doesn't, It doesn't at all.
Speaker 1 (19:31):
But I know one thing, when you're thinking about schools
like l s U, think about schools like LA but
more so l s U in that matter.
Speaker 3 (19:37):
Yeah, if they get to retire.
Speaker 1 (19:39):
In jerseys, they run out of jerseys, they wouldn't have
no jerseys, they would They're gonna have no jerseys.
Speaker 3 (19:45):
Yes, when you think yes, yes, I mean I can
I understand.
Speaker 2 (19:52):
You know, Savannah State don't have had a handfull or
you know even Grambling.
Speaker 3 (19:57):
All the great plaifts came out of Grambling. You some
good ones. It's so funny.
Speaker 2 (20:03):
Because you know, back in the day, that's where all
the black players came from.
Speaker 3 (20:07):
They were integrated.
Speaker 2 (20:07):
That before they were integrated, you had to go get
a guy from black college football.
Speaker 3 (20:12):
If that's what you But I was like, bro a couple, Yeah,
it is what it is.
Speaker 1 (20:19):
Again, I will always say that will always be my
favorite line, which is why I never compare.
Speaker 3 (20:23):
Any anything, anything anything ever.
Speaker 2 (20:25):
Ever.
Speaker 3 (20:25):
I've always been this way. I never compared myself to anyone.
Speaker 1 (20:29):
Yeah, worry about what they're doing or about what they're
gonna do, because comparison is a thief of joy if
you live your life comparing it with other people have
going on.
Speaker 3 (20:38):
But you canna always be sad.
Speaker 1 (20:39):
You always gonna be mad because they will always they
kind of always be someone doing better than you always,
no matter what. Focus on yourself, put them blindness on
like a horse in Kentucky Derby. Right, just you that
ship right one lane, stay stayed with other people lane?
Speaker 2 (20:56):
Well you see, well, well see sometimes when you start
looking and then when it doesn't go okay. That's how
they feel about him over there, right right. I don't know,
I don't know his situation over there. Clearly they hold
him in very high regards. Just because they hold him
in high regards. Oh, you automatically assume that they're supposed
(21:16):
to hold you like that.
Speaker 3 (21:18):
No, maybe you don't have that relationship. It's different.
Speaker 2 (21:22):
It's very different, very different, Jerry said Zach Martin. I
think he's gonna put Zack Martin in the Ring of
Fame next year. For what I mean, there are a
lot of there are a lot of great Blue Cowboys.
There are a lot of guys in the Hall of Fame, right,
(21:43):
Bob Lily, Randy White, Roger Staubach. It was more than
a year before they got their number put up in
the stadium. Okay, that's Jerry decision. That's somebody's decision. Somebody
else might have to wait five, ten, fifteen years.
Speaker 1 (21:59):
You know anything, want to come to Jerry. Now, you
got to take whatever you say with a grain of salt.
Speaker 2 (22:02):
Now, Okay, Alabama retired, Okay, I get it. Alabama, Alabama probably.
I don't think of anybody number that I can think
them out the top of my head. Retired to Alabama.
They've had some break work. Uh, they had Joe Nama,
they had Bart Starr, they had Derreck Thomas. They've had
(22:23):
some unbelievable players come out of there. Hold on, and
that's another school.
Speaker 1 (22:26):
Now you get to retire some of the greats that
came at Alabama, and they won't have no football team.
Speaker 2 (22:30):
Or jerseys, usc no trade. That's another school. Ohio State, Michigan.
What are you gonna say, Oh, dain't he retired? Tom
Brady Jersey, Michigan. Yeah, come on, Tom, Look Tom was good.
But Tom wasn't like like Keybow or like cham in college.
Right now you get to the NFL. I mean, if
(22:55):
anybody comes to New England ask for that number, if
they even asked, take a picture of it, you should
cut him on the spot. Ah, some things like you know,
(23:18):
seven in Denver, thirteen in Miami, sixteen and sixteen and
eighty Yeah, and saying fred come on, what we're doing here?
Speaker 3 (23:25):
Oh, Joe, hold on?
Speaker 1 (23:26):
Hold on eighty five in Cincinnati? Come on now, I
think Curtis had that number. Yeah, that's my dog. Isac
Curtis my doll. But listen eighty five and resonated globally.
I understand you resonated.
Speaker 3 (23:40):
Remember how is it Curtis? That's why?
Speaker 1 (23:41):
Yeah, listen to Isaac. Isaac changed the game now, I
know by I watched film. I watched him downtown Freddie Brown, Oh,
now what you know about downtown Downtown?
Speaker 3 (23:50):
You're from the crib.
Speaker 1 (23:51):
Manybody went to the U. Yeah, Daddy Brown from down here.
Speaker 3 (23:55):
Yeah.
Speaker 2 (23:57):
And plus now Oklahoma with all them high has been
trophy winning quarterbacks.
Speaker 3 (24:05):
Then what it is? Each school is.
Speaker 2 (24:07):
Different, Each school has a different criteria. My brother got
his number two, retired to South Carolina, but yeah, hey, yeah,
he stopped retired. I don't know a whole lot of
people that got the number. I think George Rogers he
wanted the Heisman Trophy. I think George has his retired.
Speaker 3 (24:27):
I don't.
Speaker 2 (24:27):
I don't know if I'm trying to think anybody else.
I don't know if your David might have his number retired.
Speaker 3 (24:38):
Clowning. Oh I know, joy see Okay, I walked in
the ass.
Speaker 2 (24:58):
Okay, yeah, said they ain't got a whole lot mm
hmm to Jeers.
Speaker 3 (25:07):
Nobody.
Speaker 2 (25:07):
Well, I don't know, but no, like if I mean,
sometimes people like when Deshaun went to Clemson, Steve Fuller
ward number four, that number was retired. DeShawn reached out,
they pulled, he gave me his blessing.
Speaker 3 (25:24):
Yes.
Speaker 2 (25:25):
The same thing with with Peyton when he went to
Denver eighteen the Frank Shapuca had it, reached out to
his family, they said to be hones pie. The war
boom put him back. So okay, yeah, yeah, well I.
Speaker 3 (25:52):
I don't know. And like I said, I don't know,
I problemse you.
Speaker 2 (25:54):
I'm gonna go upstairs and I'm gonna go to sleep.
Speaker 3 (25:59):
This time as don't and later day time and I don't.
I don't don't.
Speaker 2 (26:09):
I don't think about stuff like this, Oh Joe, I
don't get I mean, I don't know why people get
mad at stuff like this, right.
Speaker 1 (26:17):
No reason to at all.
Speaker 2 (26:21):
I mean they're really, they're really, I mean they're really
mad about this. Oh yeah, absolutely, absolutely.
Speaker 3 (26:27):
You know why, you know why. We don't need to
get into why.
Speaker 1 (26:31):
But obviously they're again comparing for these players, we feel
they were much greater at these institutions and these entities
when they've played, and every jerseys aren't retired. But why
do you deserve to have Why does it matter? For one,
you didn't like those individuals in the first place, and
the same people complaining the same people that are complaining
during season, and.
Speaker 2 (26:49):
You ain't even going to school there? How you complain
about somebody else school and you ain't go there?
Speaker 3 (26:55):
There you go?
Speaker 2 (26:57):
Now, I would like with them, you know, to give
my number to somebody really good, to make it look good.
Speaker 3 (27:02):
Put that too on.
Speaker 2 (27:04):
Where they put that eighty four? No, you can't get too.
Two is to know that it happened. And before I left,
they retired number three. Me and my brother wore three
in high school. You couldn't get that number either. So
but no to no that they're happening, why would you
even walk that?
Speaker 1 (27:22):
Listen if I was, If I was a youngster like
coming up coming in right now and you know.
Speaker 3 (27:29):
Going to Savannah State, you might want to let me
wear that too. I'm not gonna do it. Who what
you mean? What you mean?
Speaker 1 (27:39):
You might want to not what you're talking about? Man,
listen not but I make that too look better the
black I mean, listen you with that, boy. But I'm
just saying a young me coming up going to Savannah
State during this time right now, well you might want
to have me because I'd be out there.
Speaker 3 (27:57):
For forty touchdowns in thirty nine games? How many forty?
But soon that's back then I might get sixty with
what I know now? What mad I think?
Speaker 2 (28:13):
Bad?
Speaker 3 (28:13):
If I like hold on bad?
Speaker 2 (28:15):
If knowing what after my rookie y, I was like, man,
nor would I know now? If I go back to college,
I average twenty five touchdowns of casar boy.
Speaker 3 (28:23):
It's amazing.
Speaker 1 (28:24):
If only if only we knew what we knew now
and we're able to play again like we were in
our prime our younger days.
Speaker 2 (28:31):
Man, please well, and plus I think didn't mahomes didn't home.
They got the stadium or something named after my homes
at Texas Tech or something. They were they were they
weren't his his pay for the Adidas my home.
Speaker 3 (28:45):
Yeah, I mean what that makes? That makes sense?
Speaker 1 (28:47):
I know no one can come play in and say
anything about anything regarding my home.
Speaker 2 (28:52):
Yeah, I don't care he came about in Texas, Kate.
They're not better than my home, boy, I don't know.
Speaker 3 (28:58):
I don't know.
Speaker 1 (28:59):
Before you listen after him, unless you the Jesus of Nazareth,
unless you the Jesus of Nazareth, and you don't win
to tag a second player quarterback, there will be no comparison.
Speaker 2 (29:11):
His logo is on the field, Ojoe. Well, I think
they got a deal now with they got a deal
with Adidas, right, Okay, Yeah, I was thank you. Yeah,
it's how to tend year deal, Ojo. Travis Hunter says
he would quit football if he can't play both sides.
He said an NFL team told him he had to
focus on wide receiver a cornerback and not play both.
It would be game over for him. It's never it's
(29:34):
never playing it's never playing football again because I've been
doing this my whole life, and I love being.
Speaker 3 (29:40):
On the football field.
Speaker 2 (29:40):
I feel like I can dominate on each side of
the ball, so I really enjoy doing it.
Speaker 3 (29:46):
Listen, he's made it clear. He's made it abundantly clear. Yep.
Speaker 1 (29:50):
If a team is willing to draft him, you understand
what he wants. He's voiced it many of times, he
said it many of times.
Speaker 3 (29:56):
He has belief. Belief is something. That's what it all
starts with.
Speaker 1 (30:00):
To play any sport of doing anything, if he believes
he can do it. If you know you're going to
draft him after he's already said what he said, don't
don't don't let that be in a confusion. Don't let
there be in a confusion. And he already told you
what his wishes are, what he's always done. If you
don't want, if you want to play it that gond
to focus on one particular position, then draft one that
(30:23):
can only focus on one particular position.
Speaker 3 (30:27):
Yeah, I think he. I think team's gonna give him.
Speaker 2 (30:29):
I don't think he's gonna play both sides of the
balls as much as he played it in college.
Speaker 3 (30:33):
Probably not, but I think they will brand him his wishes.
Speaker 2 (30:37):
Yeah, I think, Yeah, I think don't give him an opportunity, absolutely,
and they should.
Speaker 3 (30:41):
They should.
Speaker 2 (30:41):
They should give an opportunity to play both sides of
the ball and see how impactful he can be playing it.
O Joe cam Wore basically confirms that he's going to
be drafted by the Titans while playing Fortnite. Chad ask im,
who's your top four running backs in the league right now?
Speaker 3 (30:55):
He said, Tony Poller and ty j Spears. Ward is
clearly about Team Titan. Yeah. That was a going. That
was a going, That was a going. Yeah.
Speaker 2 (31:05):
Look, they've canceled their workouts for the next two three
four drop top prospects.
Speaker 3 (31:10):
Yeah, so didn't give away. Didn't give away.
Speaker 2 (31:18):
Caleb Williams admits he cried after games this season. Losing
in Chicago was brutal. I'll be honest with you, I've
never lost this much. When I got home, I got
my bed, I just dropped tears. I was just so
beat up mentally, spiritually.
Speaker 5 (31:33):
Uh.
Speaker 2 (31:36):
He later said, I think the NFL game has become
very friendly, and I don't necessarily want to be friends
because I wanted to keep that competitive advantage.
Speaker 3 (31:46):
Oh Joe, what do you think? I mean? I like it? Man,
we've seen.
Speaker 1 (31:50):
We've seen the cry in the stands after after the
USC game, your USC game on how much it meant
to him. Obviously, they won so much at USC. He
was used to winning, and now coming to a structured
environment at the highest level with the one percenters, it's
not as easy as it was in college. You're gonna
have you ups and downs right now. The difference is
what he has to understand is most of the wins
are going to be in his hands. He can be
(32:11):
responsible for them winning all the time because he has
the ball most of the time. So it's based on
him decision making and what he decides to.
Speaker 3 (32:17):
Do with the ball.
Speaker 1 (32:19):
Right now, the coach like Ben Johnson and having DJ
mooreens and then the rest of that group collectively, you
can do some great things Because I think Katley Williams
is special. I think he's special. I agree, Oh yeah,
he's special with some of the things that he can do.
You know, as a quarterback, he's very gifted, and I
think he has the right right person in Ben Johnson
(32:41):
and the rest of their staff to get the most
out of him and the potential that he possesses. So
I don't think there will be that many tiers this
coming season. That's a very very very difficult division that
the Bears are in. So we'll we'll see what happens.
Speaker 2 (32:58):
Yesoe, the Dolphins are looking to trade Jalen Ramsey. Chris
Greer said he thinks it's time for them both to
move on.
Speaker 3 (33:13):
Separately.
Speaker 1 (33:14):
Okay, I'm not I have no I had no problem
with that. And the only reason they want to move
on is because the salary. They just want to get
that money off their books. They think they slick well
what they should do if they knew what they were doing.
Speaker 3 (33:25):
And I love Jayalen Ramsey.
Speaker 1 (33:26):
Jayalen Ramney to me is still a top five, top
five corner in this NFL, especially when it comes to
playing man. The man bump and run off whatever it
may be very very adequate and still good at what
he does. I think he should make a move to safety.
I think I think it would be dope, especially coming
going into the back end. I think the mccordy did
it as well. The mccardys start out as corners and
(33:47):
then as they got into their thirties they went to
the safety position. And I think it can be a
very viable option on another team somewhere else playing the
safety position.
Speaker 2 (33:56):
Do you think h Charles Woodson, Rod Woolson, Anas Williams
All those were Corns started out the corner and end
up eventually moving to safety. I mean, look, they signed
Tyree and it worked out for a while, but I
don't know. I still I'm still not believing that they
potentially they might move him on Draftoe.
Speaker 3 (34:18):
He had one one one one. I get it, But I.
Speaker 2 (34:21):
Think I think, oh Joe, I think if the kind
of the drama that comes along.
Speaker 3 (34:25):
With right right, right, right right with Tyree?
Speaker 2 (34:29):
Yeah, uh, you drafted men Fitzpatrick, he traded him Miami
Twnsel he traded him, Yes, sir, uh you're looking to
move on potentially with Jalen Ramsey.
Speaker 3 (34:42):
Mm hmm. I mean.
Speaker 2 (34:46):
Vince is one of the best safeties in the league.
Tunsel is one of the best left tackles in the league.
You can lose both of them right now. You could,
well where did Tuncon go? He's not in Houston no more.
Now you just went went to Washington. Oh that's a
good one. That's a good movie. Yeah, it's a good move.
Speaker 3 (35:03):
Mm hmm. I'm I'm.
Speaker 2 (35:07):
Uh Mikey SICKI is now in in in Cincinnati. He
looked that with Joey b catchup passes. I mean, I'm confused.
I don't really know what what the Dolphins are doing.
Speaker 1 (35:21):
I have no idea either, because I also saw I
saw the quote earlier to the write up about if
a team came to us with two first round picks,
we'll consider moving Tyreek Hill. I saw that one, and
then right after that I saw the Jayleen Ramsey news
as well, and so, okay, I'm like, what are we doing?
Are we trying to compete? Are we trying to do
(35:42):
anything in the afcast?
Speaker 5 (35:43):
So?
Speaker 1 (35:43):
Are we're just trying to give it to Buffalo? Are
we just trying to give it the Buffalo each and
every every every year. So obviously, what I see going
on now is it's going to be years and years
and years before we can rebuild. And I'm saying we
because I'm from Miami, years and years before we can
rebuild and collectively get a team, whether it be through
the draft, whether if he be through offseason and acquisitions
(36:05):
that can compete with the Buffalo bill.
Speaker 3 (36:08):
So obviously all over again. So it goes New England
dominating the AFC's for a very long time.
Speaker 1 (36:12):
Now, all of a sudden, it's gonna be the Buffalo
bill dominating the AFCs for a very long time. When
is it gonna be our turn? And this is coming
from a Dolphin fan since nineteen sixty eight, When is.
Speaker 3 (36:23):
It gonna be our turn? It ain't gonna be Turrn
this year. That's for damn sure. No, it's just sure.
Ain't no, wait, not the way they're moving. Yeah, I
don't know. And you know, I think Taryon Armstead didn't
he just retire? Y'all? Le tackle? He was injured last year.
I think he just retired. And what's what's the other
(36:43):
what's the other?
Speaker 2 (36:44):
Uh? Left tackle? Oh that's the one from the Cowboys.
Oh you talk about Tigrin Smith.
Speaker 3 (36:50):
Yeah, he's retiring to ain't he?
Speaker 2 (36:51):
Yeah? Yeah yeah, he signed a ceremonial contract. I think tomorrow. Yeah, okay,
But I think Taron Armstead, I think he retired.
Speaker 3 (37:00):
Man, that ain't good. It's not getting better. No, he's
not looking good for you guys. Oh Yo.
Speaker 2 (37:09):
High school baseball player who peed and opponent's water jug
is now facing fifteen council battery. Is then believed that
the fifteen players drank the p tainty water. This has
led to real rancho player to be reported to Juvenile
Probation and parole, with law enforcement officials believing there's cause
to charge the boy with fifteen council battery women each
(37:31):
who drank the tainted water. The players facing charges saying
it's simply mean role. See no, see no, this is
all that playing. It is just the prank, Oh Joe,
you know, kids being key.
Speaker 1 (37:46):
Yeah, yeah, listen, the pranks have gotten very extensive, especially
this day and age.
Speaker 3 (37:51):
People don't, oh Joe, and you say, you say it
all the time. People don't play the same They don't.
They don't see especially something like that. I can tell
you right now, that's a good chance he don't look
like us. Oh, absolutely not not playing like that.
Speaker 1 (38:10):
There's certain type of there's certain things you can hear
based on games that are being played, and you can
hear what the person did, and you know it's not us,
You know that, because we don't play like that.
Speaker 3 (38:21):
That's not the kind of playing with And people wonder
why you don't play.
Speaker 2 (38:25):
That's why I don't play, cause you see see you
know what I'm saying, Oh Joe, you do a little something.
Speaker 3 (38:30):
They go to the extreme right right.
Speaker 2 (38:34):
The best way to do that is just don't play right,
and you don't have to worry about it, right man,
somebody get hurt.
Speaker 3 (38:43):
Mm diud. I know I know one thing about you.
You don't play by that money. I don't care no
about that money. He'd did that? Boy?
Speaker 2 (38:51):
Look here, but see and see it had been easy
back then because when I was growing up, guys drank
behind each other all the time, right right. It ain't
like it is now. Everybody got their own water bottle.
Everybody got their own cup. It was nothing for you.
Speaker 3 (39:06):
Hey man, let me get some wig of that all right,
here you go, they pass it. Now. Everybody got their
own water bottle of your own, you know, got their
name on it.
Speaker 2 (39:14):
They drank their special concoction, and everybody drank, got the
cup and they throw it in the trash.
Speaker 3 (39:18):
Man. People, y'all need to stop playing all the time.
Speaker 2 (39:20):
I see the touching somebody girl in the mall and
doing all this other stuff and running up on people.
Speaker 1 (39:26):
Okay, oh yeah, oh with the cameras that those those
are the content creators to day, the content creators now,
the content creators day they go, they go a little
overboard to create their content. So you never know how
people are gonna react.
Speaker 3 (39:39):
You never know. You got to be careful why. I
don't know. I don't know why. I don't know why
people feel like to do stuff like that. I've never
I've never, No, I don't know.
Speaker 1 (39:53):
And when I think about it, when you think about it,
like in hindsight, when I see him, think about, wait
a minute, you kind of pee it pete in the water.
Speaker 2 (40:01):
Bottle and what the guy that did that, he got
like years he did it at work and he got
like fifteen years.
Speaker 3 (40:07):
I think, not enough time, right, And you.
Speaker 1 (40:10):
Know that's the same thing if you ever would have No, Man,
I don't want to. I was finish going left field
with it. But don't worry about it for me. I
mean in order for like I said, Oh Joe, we
had a group.
Speaker 2 (40:21):
It was me Burns, dude name Alan all addressed his
soul Colin Roscoe, Yeah, house and Foots.
Speaker 3 (40:31):
It was five of us.
Speaker 2 (40:34):
Okay, we had you know, but I was like, man,
this stuff getting out of hand and said, hey, bro,
let's go ahead in there.
Speaker 3 (40:42):
So we ended it.
Speaker 2 (40:43):
But I gotta know for me, Oh Joe, I gotta
know you don't just be old, I mean bad, let's
go preak. Come on, man, first of all, I'm a
grand dad, right two times now they got time.
Speaker 3 (40:55):
To be playing.
Speaker 2 (40:56):
No food, no childish games they be playing. They be
playing all this stuff, and I mean that is come on,
I get it. Joe dropping putting water on somebody, you know, right,
loosen the short salt of the pepper shake and they Okay,
that's one thing, bro.
Speaker 3 (41:13):
You pid somebody water and they drank it. And you
talking about that's a joke.
Speaker 1 (41:18):
Yeah, yeah, speaking that, you know, you ain't never Hey, listen,
I don't mean to go and left field. I'm just
thinking about it, right, Yeah, you ain't never like and
and it you know, and then it's like it surprised
you and it hits you and you taste it like no, no, no,
you know I'm talking about. Yeah. I was trying to
(41:39):
give you contact, fool without really saying it because I
don't want to.
Speaker 3 (41:42):
I don't. I don't want us to get flagged. But
you know, talk about I called it. I called it.
I called it the arnold Palmer. I call it. Yeah.
There are few women you meet like that, and it's no,
you don't never taste it. I showed up. Okay, I'm
just asking okay, Ojo.
Speaker 2 (42:04):
The incident was filmed by his friends and uploaded the snapchat.
Speaker 3 (42:11):
You see, we don't play it like that. We don't
play like that. You know, you know, you know it's
not us.
Speaker 2 (42:18):
Nah nah, they got a certain need to be the
limit on the jokes. And like I said, but I've
never been. My grandfather didn't like My grandfather wouldn't like that,
can I? And I think me growing up around grown folks,
ojo that you know what I'm saying, Like my grandfather
be like, Okay, we played, but it wasn't no playing
(42:39):
in the house. My grandfather didn't play that. No, it
wasn't no playing in the house. Wasn't no run what
I mean? Hell, it is only a five score foot
so youldn't running it so far? Yeah, run it out
of the door, boy, Stop slapping that screen door then though,
Yeah yeah, And then you run out the old Joe
(43:00):
and you miss right and you think you gonna hit
the door, and you hit the screen and you push
the screen out.
Speaker 3 (43:04):
Oh lord, man, the whooping you finnah get there bad?
What I remember them days?
Speaker 1 (43:12):
Goddamn though letting in all them goddamn flies. Yep, running
up my electricity.
Speaker 3 (43:18):
What are you it? What the electricity got to do
with the dope.
Speaker 2 (43:26):
But all those things and Joe, all those things that
they said that we took for granted. Yeah, but we
ain't have no centuat here. We had a fan and
it had we had that box. We had that box
fan one back. I don't know if they still make them.
But the fans we had.
Speaker 3 (43:42):
Iron blade, they had the iron blades.
Speaker 2 (43:44):
I don't know do they still make fans with iron
blades because now they got plastic blades.
Speaker 3 (43:49):
Yes, the blades. It broke off and it be dancing.
Speaker 2 (43:52):
So we had to put a big a cinder block
only to keep it from dancing, cause because free blades
is over.
Speaker 3 (44:00):
It was a balance.
Speaker 5 (44:01):
Yeah.
Speaker 3 (44:02):
Yeah, they still make them. They're still make them. But
close the door, do all this.
Speaker 2 (44:11):
But when you start paying for stuff, my brothers just
say all the time, I leave the door open, leave
this open back And then what he said.
Speaker 3 (44:18):
I ain't only said nothing. He said, when you get.
Speaker 1 (44:20):
Your own place, you'll see your understand and un you
don't understand until you have kids. You don't understand the
things your grandma and your grandaddy used to tell you
back in the day. Is your momma sued to stay
back in the days when you were younger, And it
doesn't resonate to you until you.
Speaker 3 (44:34):
Have kids and then you get better understanding. Oh yes,
you always is to say that, oh this, hey bro,
we had to go in refrigerator.
Speaker 2 (44:43):
We had to already know we're gonna get You couldn't
open refrigerator and be looking and sitting down waiting, boy,
close that fridger.
Speaker 5 (44:54):
Way.
Speaker 3 (44:55):
It wasn't like unless you wanted some bacon soda. The
one thing I know it's gonna be in refrigerator is
bacon the time, whether it's empty, be some some tea,
some tea.
Speaker 2 (45:05):
And you couldn't drink that. All of my grandfather and
grandmother could drink the tea. I don't know why they
hair you mak it so you got all these kids
in here and they can't drink no tea. TJ for
y'all too, But just open the refrigerator and just be
looking my kids be the You don't know you went
to refrigerator from something you know in the heir you
want it now all of a sudden, you like you
at the grocery aub you just walking up, you're just looking.
Speaker 3 (45:30):
There was the days, o Joe, it was there was
the day. But hey, this dude, I don't know your name.
Speaker 2 (45:37):
Bro.
Speaker 3 (45:37):
If this is true that you peed in this bottle,
Yeah that's okay.
Speaker 2 (45:45):
Boy.
Speaker 3 (45:48):
Hey hey.
Speaker 2 (45:54):
See that's that. See that's too that's too much. See
because that's the thing, Oh Joe, that's why A cause,
Remember I told you, O Joe, Grandpa you told me, say, boy,
you played with a puppy. Lick you in the mouth,

Speaker 3 (46:44):
Law are y'all donated? Donatd? He said, Can the fellas
get some Big three advice or the two? What advice
you want?
Speaker 2 (46:56):
Bro?
Speaker 3 (46:57):
He said, Nick three? You trying to tell about basketball?
I know he won the Big Three. I mean you
tried to play in the Big Three. You should have.
You got to be an NBA player, don't you know?
Speaker 1 (47:13):
I guess yeah. I mean are there people? Are there casual?
Are there civilians that play on the Big three teams?
Or is everybody retired NBA player?
Speaker 3 (47:21):
Everybody? Everybody everybody played in the NBA. I think that's
that's Boski.
Speaker 2 (47:27):
The tempest three things in life is certain death taxes
in eighty four eighty five, always gonna be open.
Speaker 3 (47:33):
That's that's that's true. That's that's five. Everybody, love everybody,
Love everybody. Night. Hey, somebody said I got on a
strip of jersey. You got to fish that on. That's
fish man.
Speaker 1 (47:45):
Now this this Tyron Taylor, uh bringing Oh yeah, diyallo.
It's funny, you know, Tyrod Taylor got uh got a
nice really dope brand.
Speaker 3 (47:57):
Good good stuff man, nice casual stuff. Yeah. Yeah.
Speaker 2 (48:00):
Astro said ice Cube Inner two Delta Blues Niggas in
five five the Great Brown said the Nuggets got rid
of their coach and Jim instead of the best player,
instead of their best player. At least the Nuggets did that,
Did that right? Got Broncos? Yeah, look sometimes sometimes you can.
Speaker 3 (48:24):
Look.
Speaker 2 (48:25):
They went to the NBA Finals and for whatever reason,
DeAndre Ayton and Marty Williams could not get along.
Speaker 3 (48:33):
Yeah, for whatever reasons, I don't.
Speaker 2 (48:35):
Know, but it seemed maybe it was uh uh da
if motor didn't want run hot all the time, or
as well as as Monty was thinking.
Speaker 3 (48:47):
But for whatever reason, they had a nice team.
Speaker 2 (48:51):
You had a big you had d book, you had
Chris Paul facilitated, you had a nice hey, you have
Michael Bridges that could defend, could not shots. You had
Cameron Johnson. We had a nice pack back up in campaign,
and they just.
Speaker 3 (49:10):
Just blew it up.
Speaker 2 (49:11):
Hey with DeAndre aiden at now Poorland, Davin Smith said, Katie,
the denver makes the most sense.
Speaker 3 (49:21):
That is yok needs an All Star. We got Jamal Murray.
Not an All Star. I mean, I mean not an
All Stars. He's a goddamn All Star.
Speaker 2 (49:36):
I think the thing is what makes them look they
gave up all the defense. No, no, no k c
p no Bruce Brown. Guys that could defend on the
you know, defend and do it all the dirty work.
Now you got guys that want to score, you know,
I mean as the defense who you got to play deep.
(49:59):
That's not Yo Christ, that's not Murray's thing. That's not
an MPG MPJ Michael Porter Junior, that's not that's not
what he's known for. Gordon is a defender, but I
mean he's a big body guy. But I'm just trying
to figure where are you guys that can to defend.
They gave that all that up. I don't see KD
(50:22):
going to Denver. I don't know if they have the
draft picks. I mean, who are you gonna get who
you're gonna give up? You're gonna get murded. They're not
gonna give you Murray, right. I mean, you got to
go somewhere that somebody have draft compensation to give you,
because yeah, you want a few good players, but you
want that draft pick, you want that draft capital.
Speaker 3 (50:42):
You got to restock what you gave up.
Speaker 2 (50:47):
Brial Carter says, I feel like they should skip the ads,
especially when we get to show this lay. This show
started at one am. How you think the show started
because of the ads. You know, you know there are
people here there, They are producers. Oh you got a producer,
I got a producer, We got graphics, we got editors,
we got social media team. They don't work because they
(51:11):
like eighty four eighty five, they work for money.
Speaker 3 (51:14):
Yeah, I don't think. I don't think people understand that
they don't understand.
Speaker 2 (51:17):
I mean, when y'all watch the games, how y'all think
they mean? Think about the Super Bowl? How many commercials
the Super Bowl? How many sports?
Speaker 3 (51:24):
How many? Name the sporting event that you've seen that
don't run any ads?
Speaker 2 (51:28):
As a matter of fact, tell me the event that
you've seen on television that haven't run ads.
Speaker 3 (51:33):
I can't only think of one the Masters that time when.
Speaker 2 (51:36):
They they with everybody was boycotting because they didn't admit
a woman into the thing, and they ran the commercial free.
But I just want y'all to tell me, So what
are we supposed to do? You right, come on, an,
I'm just I just care, I mean chat. I just
want y'all, y'all tell us a way that we're able
(51:57):
to do this pay the fifteen people that we have
that works on just night campalone. Now, well, when you
say what do you need to produce them for it?
Let me know you know nothing about television, which is
why we have ads. But I'm just saying, tell me
(52:22):
your favorite program Your favorite TV show, tell me the
one that you've seen it in its entirety, and they played,
they had no commercials, and all all.
Speaker 3 (52:33):
My favorites have commercials.
Speaker 1 (52:34):
Good Time, Sam for his son, All in the Family,
Small Wonder, Punky Brewster.
Speaker 3 (52:41):
You're going fifteen, Yeah, fifteen mcials, y'all?
Speaker 2 (52:45):
Do realize in an hour programming when you see an
hour programming, the show is actually only thirty two minutes long.
Speaker 1 (52:53):
The other twenty eight minutes are commercial marshals. Yeah, the
bills got to be paid. Uh, the bills got to
be paid. The bills are paid because of the commercials.
Speaker 2 (53:03):
Yeah, we did start with zero commercials. We if we
was basically I was basically playing people out of my pocket. Oh,
speaking of I owe you, I forgot I owe you too.
I'm glad you said it, but I stopped. I look, yes,
the first zero. That's the whole point, the whole point. Listen,
(53:28):
we're not a nonprofit.
Speaker 3 (53:34):
People. It requires money to do this, it does. I mean,
I don't I don't know really really what to tell people.
Speaker 2 (53:46):
So I'm sorry, guys, we gotta we gotta have commercials,
and uh, hopefully we can get some more. Uh, Casey
Taylor Yoh is their story behind how Grinding a My
Life became the intro for Club Shay Shay. Also Weezel, Baby,
The Rock or Mahomes are in the future lineup.
Speaker 3 (54:07):
Uh the Rock.
Speaker 2 (54:11):
Yes, I can try to get my homes. I can't
guarantee it. I think yeah, I think I can get Weezy. Yeah,
I think I can get Weezy. That that's Rocky is
gonna be a little bit more difficult because you know,
between the movies and all the stuff that he has.
Speaker 3 (54:31):
Going on masically, you're gonna have to fly to him.
Speaker 2 (54:33):
I'm gonna have to fly to Hawaii or wanted to
play one of the fifteen places that he calls.
Speaker 3 (54:38):
Home as a as a symbol called symbol call right, yeah, symbol.
Speaker 2 (54:43):
Call doctor Frankie L. Bellaman, Hey, fab I saw my
other sterling yesterday. He was cool as always. We had
a good time. Oh, must have been down at Myrtle Beach.
Was it Myrtle Beach? I think a Murder Beaches because
they normally have a tournament after the Masters. The Monday
(55:03):
after the Masters, they normally have a tournament down there.
All right, Doc, I appreciate that, PC said love from Toronto, Canada.
Almost three am here, but I'm rocking with you guys.
Random questions. What do you do when you're a low
on motivation or light gets overwhelming?
Speaker 3 (55:19):
I e.
Speaker 2 (55:20):
How do you manage tough emotions? Since you're both athletes compartmentalized.
You got a job to let me do this job,
and then once the job is over, I go think
about how I need to get done, what I needed
to get done, whatever those emotions are. If I'm dealing
with something personal in my life, if I'm dealing with
(55:41):
something kids or somebody, whatever the case may be, the
job's got.
Speaker 3 (55:45):
To get done.
Speaker 2 (55:48):
Only oo, Only people that work a nine to five
have work life balance. When you run your company, there
is no work life balance because you're always on the clock,
because you're responsible for what comes out everything. So I
don't get that luxury like somebody else will figure it out. No,
(56:10):
it doesn't work like that.
Speaker 3 (56:12):
Now.
Speaker 2 (56:13):
If you want work life balance, have at it. I
got no problem, So I don't want y'all to come here.
Uh was throwing shade at people to work nine to five. No,
you work nine to five to fulfill somebody else's dreams.
But in this situation, don't, Joe. Everybody's gonna go through something, yeah,
(56:33):
something O ways, but I can't stop.
Speaker 3 (56:36):
I got a job to do. I can't. I couldn't
call it the Broncos or the Ravens. I can't call it,
couldn't call up CBS or Fox or now ESPN.
Speaker 2 (56:45):
I can do that job because I don't think in
the two hours that it requires me to do my job,
I don't really think there's much I can do about it,
especially from where I am.
Speaker 3 (56:57):
That's just me.
Speaker 2 (56:58):
Everybody deals with situation how they choose to do, but
this is how I choose to deal with mine. I'm
gonna do what I need to do, and then I'm
gonna take care of what I need to take care of.
To eat his own and you know the first half
of his question two.
Speaker 1 (57:11):
I never understood how how people lack motivation in general.
I never understood that part, especially when there's.
Speaker 3 (57:18):
A you're not doing something that you like if you
like motivation, Yeah, that's just.
Speaker 1 (57:24):
I never understood that. Don never the smallest goal, short term,
long term, whatever may be. To accomplish anything in life,
it takes you got to be motivated to do it.
You gotta be you got to be motivated about something.
Something got to get you going, and you shouldn't. You
shouldn't have to rely on other people doing it for
you to do it. You shouldn't have to your friends
(57:46):
and get up to go to the gym.
Speaker 2 (57:49):
What are you passionate about? Because if you're passionate about something,
you don't. When you're passionate about old Joe, you don't,
you don't read. You need very little motivation. And why
makes you jump out of bed? That's the question. Because
when you're passionate about something, Oh, you're gonna put it.
You're gonna put you all into it. Hey, everything, and
(58:10):
you're gonna be and you're gonna be really good at it.
Speaker 3 (58:12):
Everything.
Speaker 1 (58:14):
Listen, when I'm when I'm motivated, whatever it is I'm
locked in on, it becomes my purpose. Yes, it becomes
my purpose. It's almost as if I'm living for just
that specific thing, whatever it may be at that time,
that has been motivated.
Speaker 3 (58:29):
Right, Man, I don't play. I don't, I don't play.
Speaker 5 (58:36):
You know what?
Speaker 3 (58:37):
You know what intentional means when you're intentional when you
do something.
Speaker 2 (58:41):
Man, you worked all your life. We worked all our
life to get in this position, this position now I'm
foolded to relax now, ship all right, I don't. I've
always been one of those guys, O yoe, No matter
the gold, no matter what I accomplish, what's the next
goal to accomplish?
Speaker 3 (59:05):
What can I I don't.
Speaker 2 (59:06):
I don't stand on the mind like, yes, yes, I
might get to the top, but I'm gonna look at it,
don't look on the rise and then see if there's
another summer that I can scale.
Speaker 3 (59:18):
I'm I'm just a move I'm a very motivated and
driven person.
Speaker 2 (59:21):
I've always I've always been that way, yes, sir, and
so I don't know why people be surprised when they
see me have success when you know how motivated I am.
Speaker 3 (59:33):
I'm all in on stuff. I don't. I don't hm
when I this is my focus and it's one thing
to be motivated.
Speaker 2 (59:43):
Think about how motivated you were to do for the
for the Bengals or or or the c w P.
They tell me you can't be that motivated for yourself.
That's what I'm gonna give for people. People show up
with these people job and don't miss to day for
ten years, fifteen years, But after you do something for yourself, it's.
Speaker 1 (01:00:05):
Like mmmm, see you see I like it. If you
just went there with now you leave me right into
my next thing. Now you see why I'm enjoying myself.
You see why I'm doing stuff on myself right now?
Speaker 3 (01:00:16):
You see what I like that? See I like that?
So now you're get to do something for me?
Speaker 1 (01:00:21):
Huh, do something for me? I Amn, I got you.
Remember I told you in June Baltimore Show'm to pay
you lie in the person in front of everybody fifties
you wanted what you want to hunt? Hundreds pictures of
the twenties.
Speaker 3 (01:00:32):
I gotta wait till then. That ain't too far. That's
right around going on. No, I mean Uncle Sam, who
Uncle Salm? Touch your boy up today? But only the
only saying I know is cooked that.
Speaker 2 (01:00:53):
What is that?
Speaker 3 (01:00:54):
Be poor and talk about uncle Sale, won't you? And
I'd be like y, yeah that's what you get Ukaseay.
