different guys that she was having a procedure done with
their uh baby, and she collected money from all.

Four more for so she took the procedure money and
never had the procedure.

Speaker 4 (00:57):
I don't know if she did or not, but she
definitely she did have it. Yeah, so yeah, but she
told all four of them, so she made twenty four
hundred dollars. Wow, well really I guess eighteen hundred because
she did to have to pay six hundred.

Speaker 5 (01:08):
But they were like, where's maine o? MANA would have
judged her?

Speaker 8 (01:11):
Really, See, this is what I'm saying, Like people want
the real, tell us to.

Speaker 5 (01:14):
See what you're not supposed to judge. That's the whole point.

Speaker 6 (01:16):
It's like when you go, I don't think it's judging.

Speaker 8 (01:19):
I think it's just really being honest with the person
that you're talking to.

Speaker 6 (01:23):
Because people saying these stories, they saying them for a reason.

Speaker 4 (01:27):
We're just trying to put it out like I've never
told anyone this.

Speaker 5 (01:30):
I did this.

Speaker 6 (01:31):
Yeah, I was terrible about it.

Speaker 8 (01:33):
It's some things are just disgusting, right, just like you disgusting.

to Chelsea House.

Speaker 5 (02:35):
I'll be there Wednesday.

Speaker 6 (02:36):
Everybody. Let's let's do that. I don't know yet. It's
a big It's a big.

Speaker 4 (02:40):
One, right, one, big one twenty one. I remember my
twenty first birthday. Fight broke out at my parents' house.
Over once came somebody pulled a gun out. Oh wow,
that was quite a time. All right, Well listen, Clarissa
Shield is going to be joining us today, okay, and
she is the most decorated boxer male or female by
the way under station.

Speaker 6 (03:00):
Can beat men?

Speaker 5 (03:01):
She can?

Speaker 4 (03:02):
Yes, she actually can. She spars with men. She's the groot.
The greatest woman of all time is what she calls herself.
She's from Flint, Michigan, and I'm a huge fan of
Clarissa Schelle. She has an amazing story, so I'm excited.
I remember when she was trying to get this boxing
match to happen, and nobody was trying to do.

Speaker 5 (03:17):
It, and so she put on her own and she
hit her re view.

Speaker 6 (03:22):
Gott invest in yourself.

Speaker 4 (03:23):
Yeah, she invested in herself and she had all women
on the undercart, which I love all right, So she
is getting her just do.

Speaker 5 (03:29):
So we'll be talking to her today. Also.

Speaker 4 (03:31):
You know, we always start the show off with shine
a light, shine a light on them. Eight hundred two
nine two fifty one fifty is number. Call us up
and let us know who you want to highlight today,
who you want to show some love to, who you
want to shine a light on. You know, we love
to start the show off with some positivity. Eight hundred
two nine two fifty one fifty is way up with
the Angelaye, shine a light on them.

Speaker 5 (03:50):
When we come back, we gonna luck up.

Speaker 9 (03:53):
I'm turn your lights on, y'all, spreading love to those
who do in greatness.

Speaker 2 (04:01):
Light shin ight. It's time to shine.

Speaker 4 (04:06):
A light on Yes, it's way yep. But Angela Yee,
I'm Angela Yee and Maino is he and it's time
to shine a light on him. I want to shine
a light on somebody.

Speaker 6 (04:17):
Light on.

Speaker 4 (04:17):
So over the weekend, I went to a birthday party
for my friend.

Speaker 5 (04:21):
Kareem now Kareem Cook.

Speaker 4 (04:24):
He actually is the founder of this business called nature
Aid and also vegan smart all right, and so it's
all natural foods and it's all about having a plant
based diet. But what I love about Kareem story is
that he did something that he was passionate about. He
has you know, he wanted to provide healthier options for people.
So even when he was younger, right, he went and

(04:46):
there was a vending machine company where they had a
lot of you know how sometimes vending machines has a
lot of junk, right, Well, he went and he asked
them to provide healthier options in.

Speaker 5 (04:54):
The vending machine for public schools.

Speaker 4 (04:57):
And so he led this movement that resulted in a
ban on junk food in LA public schools and so
they were awarded the contract for every public high school
and middle school in LA after that. Nice, because you know,
you go to the vending machine sometimes you want something
healthy and it's.

Speaker 5 (05:10):
Hard to find.

Speaker 2 (05:10):
Yeah.

Speaker 8 (05:10):
And I'm you know me, and I'm on this this
mission to battle this obesity that I'm in, right, I'm
in a fight for my life. I need to hoghlight him.

Speaker 4 (05:19):
Okay, yeah, well he's being honored tonight by Prep for Prep.
But you know, shout out to Kareem. I went to
his birthday party over the weekend. I just love his story.
He has an amazing story. Not just that, but like
even him choreographing from Michael Jackson when you're really I
mean crazy stuff. When you want to talk about a life,
this man has lived a life. But just shout out
to you, Kareem for really caring about the community and

(05:42):
doing something like Vegas. Shut out to Kareem at nature Rade. Now,
who do you guys want to shine a light on?
Eight hundred and two nine fifty moses? Who you want
to shine a light on?

Speaker 10 (05:51):
I want to shine a light on a homegirl of months.

Speaker 2 (05:53):
The name is Crystal.

Speaker 10 (05:55):
I'm not gonna give a last thing. I want her
to get too mad at now. Oh well, she's about
to go through some chemo and I just wanted to
let her know that she's a very strong female and
that you're going to make.

Speaker 7 (06:06):
It through this.

Speaker 5 (06:07):
That's dope. That's just the point of her.

Speaker 10 (06:10):
Yeah, I mean we don't live in the same state,
so she feels that I'm abandoned in her. But I
have obligations that I can't just right, you know, But
as soon as I can, I want her to know that.

Speaker 6 (06:20):
I'll be out there.

Speaker 5 (06:22):
Ah, that's so sweet of you. Shout out to Crystal.

Speaker 4 (06:25):
I know that can't be easy for her and she
wishes that you could be there.

Speaker 5 (06:28):
You know what you could do.

Speaker 4 (06:29):
I like to do stuff like this, send like a
you know it sound like a little cash up like
lunch is on me today, or a little gift card
from Uber eat to door Dash or grub Hub or
something like that. You know, little gestures like that people appreciate.

Speaker 11 (06:43):
Okay, all right, we'll do that.

Speaker 5 (06:44):
I will do that, all right. Well, thank you. Shine
a light on your Krystal.

Speaker 6 (06:49):
Thank you. I'm a great ding you too.

Speaker 4 (06:51):
That would shine a light on him. Eight hundred two
nine fifty one fifty. You can always leave a message
and get through for the last word. Eight hundred two
ninety two fifty one fifty. And when we come back,
we have your yee t. And this has gone viral.
Floyd Mayweather he had his exhibition fight against John Gotti
the third and it looks like they were fights breaking
out during the fight.

Speaker 5 (07:11):
A lot of crap talking afterwards made no why are
you shaking your head?

Speaker 8 (07:15):
That was that was unbelievable. All right, that was a
good fight, all.

Speaker 4 (07:20):
Right, But when we come back, it's way up at
Angela Yee.

Speaker 9 (07:23):
They say rooms from industry shade to all the gossips out.

Speaker 2 (07:29):
Angela's feeling that.

Speaker 5 (07:32):
It's way up at Angela.

Speaker 3 (07:33):
Ye.

Speaker 4 (07:33):
I'm Angela Yee and Mano is here Maine and I
love talking about what's going on.

Speaker 6 (07:40):
Yeah, we love.

Speaker 4 (07:41):
And so let's do it now, right. So we were
discussing this Floyd Mayweather fight. You thought it was a
good fight.

Speaker 6 (07:46):
Fight, Yes, very entertaining.

Speaker 5 (07:48):
It's an exhibition fight. It was on Zeus.

Speaker 4 (07:50):
You know, Mayweather's been doing these Zeus fights, and fight
was very chaotic. It was delayed briefly that two camps
were going at it. Early on Floyd Mayweather, it looked
like he was just trying to put on a show.
And in the sixth round they stopped the fight, and
that's when everybody ran into.

Speaker 6 (08:05):
The ring, right, everything went crazy.

Speaker 4 (08:07):
Yes, and Floyd was like, I'm out of here all right,
and John Gotty the third just kept holding him.

Speaker 6 (08:12):
So that was the problem why they stopped he's doing
MMA holes.

Speaker 4 (08:16):
And yes, and he also is five and one in
the MMA, and he's two when I was a professional boxer.
So that is for John Gotty the third. Now here
is what Floyd had to say after the fight.

Speaker 6 (08:26):
See that's why you paid the big bucks on the show.

Speaker 7 (08:29):
I don't care.

Speaker 8 (08:30):
If it's why I'm coming with the Floyd Maywan experience,
You'll never know what's gonna happen.

Speaker 6 (08:37):
Yeah, hey, line, neither. It was a couple of fights.

Speaker 5 (08:41):
Yeah, there was a couple of fights going on.

Speaker 4 (08:43):
But I will say after this, John Gotty the third
sister went on social media, Nicolette Gotti and said, floy me,
whether your daughter was ran through by an animal with
twelve different baby mamas, your little circus animal, You're all
a pack of zoo animals. I swear on my kids,
I'm coming for your daughter. It maybe two years, three
years from now, but I'm coming.

Speaker 8 (09:04):
You were supposed to read that in your like female
mob vernacular. I was disgusted that my kids I'm going
to come for I don't.

Speaker 4 (09:13):
I don't like when white people be calling black people
things like animals.

Speaker 6 (09:17):
Of course, it's disgusting to me. Animals.

Speaker 4 (09:21):
And then now you're threatening her his daughter. I mean,
I thought that was disgusting. And then she called him
a word that rhymes with.

Speaker 6 (09:29):
Bunt, right, I want to start using that.

Speaker 5 (09:32):
No, do not please?

Speaker 4 (09:33):
All right now, the other fight that you're discussing that
went viral was Jocelyn Hernandez and Big Legs, both on
Reality TV, and.

Speaker 6 (09:42):
That's all the best fight of the night that was.

Speaker 4 (09:46):
I mean, Joscelyn was yeah, going ham, yeah, all right.
She had Lex in a chokehold. People were just watching.
Nobody was trying to break it up. And then it
looks like Jocelyn slapped the security multiple times as he
tried to stop her. That's when Lex escaped and was
chased by Jocelyn and her friends. They did eventually catch

(10:06):
up and Lex through coffee at Jocelyn and then hit
her with her heels and then yes, so.

Speaker 5 (10:14):
I don't know, I mean, she's from Jocelyn's cabaret.

Speaker 6 (10:19):
Beef started with that, I don't know what. I don't
know who this Lex girl.

Speaker 5 (10:22):
Is now, I don't know, but that was insane.

Speaker 6 (10:25):
All I know.

Speaker 8 (10:26):
I've seen Jocelyn swinging on security, swinging on cameramen, swinging
on waius.

Speaker 5 (10:31):
I don't know what this fight was about. We know
Jocelyn is going to let us know at some point.
I'm sure. Yeah, man, No, you should have been there
at the fight.

Speaker 2 (10:38):
No you know what.

Speaker 5 (10:39):
No, No, you shouldn't know.

Speaker 6 (10:40):
You shouldn't So another fight to there which tastes like security.

Speaker 5 (10:43):
Oh really, I didn't.

Speaker 8 (10:47):
It looked like the guy with security and these other
guys and they were swinging on each other. They were
throwing funny punches, but it was it was It was wild.
It's like punches and slow motion.

Speaker 4 (10:57):
It's the craziest thing when you go to a fight
and fights break out at the fight. I think one
of that just happened recently, Javonte Davis's fight. Yeah, people
were like fighting in the audience. I'm like, what that
has to be distracting to you in the ring, You're like,
hold on, that's not my cousin.

Speaker 5 (11:11):
All right Flavor.

Speaker 4 (11:12):
Flavor is now a part time Detroit resident, so apparently
he's been spotted at major events. He was at the
Tailor Swift Show. He said, I love Detroit. He said
it's the first place he ever visited by plane. To
open up for the Beastie Boys at the Fox Theater,
back in nineteen eighty six. And so I guess right
now he's there all the time because he's dating somebody
that's from Detroit.

Speaker 5 (11:32):
So he's a part time Detroit resident. Now you know
that's dope.

Speaker 4 (11:37):
And by the way, Taylor Swift, like we said, was
in Detroit and she actually gave a very generous donation
to a community food bank while she was there, Gleaner's
Community Food Bank of Southeastern Michigan. And she was performing
for two nights at ford Field, and so they were
very thankful for her generosity. They said, it goes beyond
Dallas for Mills. The space in her heart will empower
households across southeast Michigan to live happier, healthier lives and

(11:59):
elevate the importance of food security. So others who have
the ability to help can be inspired by her example.
So they did not say how much you donated, but
it does encourage other people to know about this organization
and donate. All right, well, that is your yee tea.
And when we come back about last night, mana, you
haven't been to work in quite some time. Really, I'm
gonna find out why. We know life is lifing, So

(12:20):
we're gonna be life. We're gonna find out it's way
up with Angela yee about last night when we come back.

Speaker 2 (12:25):
Yeah, last night, So about last night? Last night, last night,
giz I went down.

Speaker 6 (12:32):
It's way up.

Speaker 5 (12:33):
But Angela yee, I'm Angela Yee and a Mano is
here now may No.

Speaker 4 (12:38):
Everybody's like, why haven't you been at work? So now
it's about last night. Let us know what you've been
up to for the past three years. It felt like
you've been going over and they love me that much.

Speaker 6 (12:47):
Feels like I've been going so long. I had to
go to La.

Speaker 8 (12:50):
My daughter lives in La. Shout out to her, Ja, congratulations.
She graduated from the fifth grade. Wow, going to middle school.

Speaker 5 (12:58):
You know that's a big deal. Remember graduating and going
to middle school?

Speaker 6 (13:02):
Yeah, yeah, yeah, I remember.

Speaker 4 (13:03):
I wanted to go to middle school with all my
friends from elementary school, but they ended up plucking me
out and putting me in private school.

Speaker 5 (13:10):
Oh that's when I started in private school in seventh grade.

Speaker 8 (13:13):
You like that, You like that?

Speaker 6 (13:14):
Like that for you?

Speaker 8 (13:14):
So, yeah, we had a good time. We went to graduation,
We went to eve, went to top golf, went to
the movies. Yeah, hung out, hung out?

Speaker 5 (13:22):
Did your daughter always when did she move to la.

Speaker 6 (13:25):
She's been in La Man maybe five six years.

Speaker 4 (13:30):
I was just asking that because I'm looking at like
certain stories like Kevin Feerline and Britney Spears and he
wants to move the kids to Was it difficult for
you knowing that your daughter was going to be moving
across the country?

Speaker 6 (13:42):
At first?

Speaker 8 (13:42):
I was just like what because maybe they moved when
she was maybe about three or four? Yeah, And I
was like nah, but you know, she had her mother,
had her mom made up on what she wanted to do,
and I was like, you know what, it's not gonna
stop me. It's not gonna st me from being a father.
So we figure it out and it just gave me

(14:03):
a reason to.

Speaker 4 (14:03):
Be in la more So, I like that because I
know parents go through things like that right now as
their co parenting. One person might want to move, but
the other person doesn't want their child to move that
far away. That's why I was asking you, because how
did you How were you able to accept that, because
it does make it a little more challenging.

Speaker 8 (14:19):
It is because you can't just get up and just
you know, go to the next borough or go to
the next town and just see them because they was
right here in Jersey but with me, so I was
able to just see them, see her every day.

Speaker 4 (14:33):
Yeah, but you know what, I guess it'll make it
fun now she gets a little older to take a
trip to New York, right Jersey.

Speaker 6 (14:38):
But it's cool, you know, I get to go out
there and we have our fun.

Speaker 8 (14:42):
You know.

Speaker 4 (14:42):
Well, congratulations. Then I came back back to work, baby,
back to work.

Speaker 10 (14:48):
Now.

Speaker 5 (14:49):
I'll tell you what I did over the weekend and
part of why it started.

Speaker 4 (14:51):
The about last night segment is also about like what
we watch on TV and all these different shows. So
I watched this movie on Netflix. It came out share
is called Emily the Criminal, Yes, and so she ends
up getting into a world of crime, fake credit cards,
stolen identities, getting robbed, but she she definitely robbed them back.

(15:15):
And I want to say I was watching when she
did her first like credit card scam where she went
into the store to buy TVs.

Speaker 6 (15:23):
Remember I've never done that.

Speaker 5 (15:26):
I've never done that, But I was just thinking I
was nervous for her.

Speaker 6 (15:30):
Yeah, because I think I'm.

Speaker 4 (15:32):
Too nervous of a person to try to attempt to
do something like I would be so scared because first
of all, they have you on camera. Secondly, I'll be
like thinking that it's gonna the police are gonna come
at any moment, you know, as soon as they try
to swipe it, I'm caught. I just couldn't imagine doing
something like that.

Speaker 6 (15:51):
No crime, So no crime is for you.

Speaker 5 (15:53):
I'll buy something stolen, but I ain't gonna steal it,
not anymore. I wouldn't. But in the past, have I
purchase things that I'm sure we're most likely stolen?

Speaker 4 (16:03):
I'm sure items. Yeah, I'm sure I have, But I
would never be the person to go and do it right.
As a matter of fact, I was.

Speaker 5 (16:09):
With someone one time and they stole something and I.

Speaker 6 (16:12):
Didn't know jump back in a call with you. Yes, really,
so you was part of the getaway.

Speaker 5 (16:17):
Since she got away with it.

Speaker 4 (16:18):
And sometimes you don't think like you know, I knew
she did it, and you don't think in that situation
like I could get in trouble for this.

Speaker 5 (16:25):
Thank god we didn't.

Speaker 6 (16:27):
Thank God, Thank Jesus.

Speaker 5 (16:28):
I still have that defel bag.

Speaker 6 (16:31):
Still got the hotence, I still have it.

Speaker 4 (16:33):
All right, Well, that was about last night. So that
movie was Emily the Criminal on Netflix. And when we
come back, you know what time it is. I know
why are you here?

Speaker 5 (16:42):
Please?

Speaker 2 (16:42):
You know why I'm here.

Speaker 6 (16:43):
You know what I'm about. Please call in right now,
right now. I need all the people to call in
with the secrets, the deepest, darkest secrets.

Speaker 5 (16:50):
Some people want to be judged by me, no, which
is what I'm realizing.

Speaker 6 (16:53):
If it's any legends out.

Speaker 4 (16:54):
Here, eight hundred two ninety two fifty one fifty is
a number. Call us up, tell us a secret. It's
way up with Angela.

Speaker 2 (17:04):
This is a judgment free zone.

Speaker 4 (17:05):
Tell us a secret, no judgment zone, right, and people
get to stay anonymous. But I know you're gonna have
some things to say. Not necessarily, I actually enjoy the
fact that you have some things to say. I keep
it cool, I keep the straight face. I don't make
you feel ashamed of anything. I'll let you just say
what you have to say. And Mano, you do not

(17:27):
do the same.

Speaker 6 (17:28):
I mean, listen, I'm not judging. I'm just being honest.

Speaker 5 (17:32):
Okay.

Speaker 4 (17:32):
Well, eight hundred two nine fifty fifty is a number,
y'all know, Mano's here. So some people want to be
judged and calling. Yeah, calling, Now we have an anonymous
caller on the line. Hey, anonymous caller, how are you?
You want to tell us a secret?

Speaker 11 (17:48):
Yeah, I'm going very well.

Speaker 7 (17:49):
How are you today?

Speaker 2 (17:50):
I'm good?

Speaker 6 (17:51):
Thank you.

Speaker 5 (17:51):
You want to tell us a secret me and my
guy Mano.

Speaker 11 (17:54):
Yeah, the secret that I'm gonna tell you that I
gave Mayno a shame when we went to fight ball
breakfast early in the morning.

Speaker 6 (18:05):
Oh my god, listen, yeah, sham, I know it's your voice.

Speaker 8 (18:12):
I know this is not knowing that it's not anymous
because he already said his name Scott.

Speaker 6 (18:16):
It's crazy. What's up, bro?

Speaker 2 (18:18):
How you feeling? I can't call baby? You know I
love you to let him?

Speaker 6 (18:22):
Now listen we yeah, we were off that win.

Speaker 5 (18:25):
What do you here?

Speaker 7 (18:27):
Yeah?

Speaker 6 (18:27):
This is my god. Oh, this is this is my god. Sham,
big shaman, sham.

Speaker 5 (18:32):
So hold on, what was this shank?

Speaker 6 (18:35):
Old jail war stories?

Speaker 5 (18:39):
Now what made you decide to give Mano a shank?
He gotta go, man No, you can't.

Speaker 8 (18:46):
Yeah, this is not Yeah, this is not the hot
line for old man O war stories for real.

Speaker 6 (18:52):
Gosh, I didn't know that that was gonna happen. All right, Well,
that was crazy. Is he a legend?

Speaker 7 (18:56):
I guess he's.

Speaker 8 (19:00):
We couldn't have expected that, though, would He has a
distinct voice.

Speaker 4 (19:04):
I knew it was him, all right, Sham shang whatever,
sham shank redection, redemption, redemption, Oh my god, all right,
let's do another one.

Speaker 5 (19:15):
Hanging out him his color?

Speaker 12 (19:16):
How are you?

Speaker 5 (19:19):
You want to share a secret with me? And may
know he's not gonna judge you.

Speaker 13 (19:22):
Okay?

Speaker 7 (19:24):
Yeah, so my egg, I caught him keeating. He was
texting somebody who was supposed to be my friend. So
I act like I didn't know, and I played it
off and I did something, and he found out and
broke up with me, and I cried all.

Speaker 6 (19:37):
The way to my other blue house, to your other
bull's house.

Speaker 5 (19:41):
Yeah, well she found cheating first, so she cheated back
like that.

Speaker 6 (19:44):
That did that? Help?

Speaker 5 (19:46):
Man?

Speaker 7 (19:46):
In help because now he want me back.

Speaker 5 (19:49):
He knows.

Speaker 7 (19:51):
I guess he tried all the way to my other
boo house.

Speaker 5 (19:53):
You told him you knew about his what he was doing.

Speaker 7 (19:56):
Yeah, he left me. I tried to play it off.
I kept cry, So do you want him back?

Speaker 2 (20:02):
No?

Speaker 6 (20:03):
Oh, you don't want him.

Speaker 12 (20:04):
You were than a half straight?

Speaker 5 (20:07):
What you said, little anyway, I'm straight.

Speaker 6 (20:09):
We were the same time, y'all were the same half.

Speaker 4 (20:13):
Okay, little feet, so you're trying to say little feet
means the other little thing?

Speaker 14 (20:18):
Oh got it?

Speaker 4 (20:20):
Yeah, his feet is proportionate to his penis, so she
don't want his little penis no more?

Speaker 5 (20:25):
Is that right?

Speaker 11 (20:26):
It was good when I was little, but I'm straight now.

Speaker 7 (20:31):
I got better. That's the secret.

Speaker 11 (20:34):
I cried all the way to my other blue house
and he didn't know.

Speaker 5 (20:37):
All right, Well, it looked like she was at the
door anyway after she caught him to the.

Speaker 6 (20:40):
Wouldn't it be more fun to let him know, like
want you now? We don't know, like let him know?
What's your name?

Speaker 7 (20:47):
Jin shout?

Speaker 5 (20:56):
Yeah, that made no tricky out your spot? Okay, all right,
hey an.

Speaker 4 (21:05):
Ontamus Kola, how are you hey? You want to share
a secret with me and mano? Yes, okay, we're listening.

Speaker 14 (21:13):
So I have nine children.

Speaker 11 (21:16):
Different fathers.

Speaker 14 (21:17):
I only know who three of their fathers are.

Speaker 6 (21:20):
You don't know three of the fathers are.

Speaker 5 (21:22):
I know three of the fathers. So all nine children
have nine different fathers.

Speaker 14 (21:28):
M I would think those three have the same one.

Speaker 4 (21:33):
Okay, So the so three of the kids have the
same father, but six of them have different fathers.

Speaker 5 (21:39):
Yeah, this is a secret. No one knows this. No,
So who do people think the other six children? Who
the father is?

Speaker 11 (21:48):
Whoever?

Speaker 7 (21:49):
I tell them, Oh?

Speaker 5 (21:51):
Same?

Speaker 8 (21:52):
Okay, but how do you just a question me not judging?
How do you not know who the fathers are? Was
you like just palatole?

Speaker 6 (22:01):
He was what he was out there? He was out there.

Speaker 5 (22:05):
Nobody's asked for a paternity test. Now, okay, well do
what you know?

Speaker 8 (22:11):
You have like a basic understanding of who it could be,
right like out of maybe thirty guys.

Speaker 14 (22:16):
Or I think I do, but so long ago, I
don't even remember half their name. So like when I
literally make up a name and I've tried to remember
that name and made up but so you just like
recently I can't remember.

Speaker 5 (22:34):
Wow. I wish you the best of luck for the
sake of these children.

Speaker 6 (22:37):
Jesus loves you. Thank Jesus loves you.

Speaker 5 (22:41):
Thank you for sharing.

Speaker 6 (22:42):
God bless you.

Speaker 5 (22:43):
All. Right, Well, man, no, thanks for being here today.

Speaker 15 (22:47):
For her.

Speaker 5 (22:48):
Tell us a secret.

Speaker 4 (22:49):
Remember it's always no judgment. And when we come back,
we have your yeetee. Let's talk about DJ drama. Now,
there are some gentlemen online who are saying that they
robbed him, and we'll talk about it. It's way up
at angel again.

Speaker 2 (23:05):
The lid ab off this, but let's get it.

Speaker 9 (23:07):
Angela's building that yeez, come and get to see.

Speaker 4 (23:11):
It's way up at Angela. Yeah, I'm Angela yee and
Mano is here? No Mana doing that yee t with me? Mano, Yeah,
I'm gonna pass you to shank.

Speaker 6 (23:20):
Stop it.

Speaker 5 (23:23):
I can't help it. I'm sorry.

Speaker 6 (23:25):
Wow.

Speaker 5 (23:25):
Now let's discuss DJ Drama.

Speaker 4 (23:28):
There's allegations now that he might have gotten his chain
snatched for not checking in. These guys from Toronto is
three guys that have on masks. They're showing his chain
and saying that he should have checked in, and they
also shouted out Drake in this video that they posted.

Speaker 5 (23:44):
Listen to this this you get for not checking in.

Speaker 6 (23:48):
Shout up boy, jes Yeh, Triple Gez.

Speaker 5 (23:51):
You know how you rock slap?

Speaker 7 (23:54):
All right.

Speaker 5 (23:54):
So DJ Drama was in Toronto.

Speaker 4 (23:57):
He was at the popular Century nightclub on King and
that's when these guys then posted this video. So we
haven't heard DJ drama side of the story yet, but
we just know that these guys are saying, so they.

Speaker 6 (24:09):
Wanted him to check in. Huh what does that mean?

Speaker 5 (24:13):
I don't know. I don't know. I haven't been in
Toronto in a minute. Do you check in when you
go to Toronto?

Speaker 6 (24:18):
I don't check in anywhere.

Speaker 4 (24:19):
Oh well, there you go. Well we see what happens.
So I'm sure at some point DJ Drama is going
to address it.

Speaker 6 (24:27):
All right, all right?

Speaker 5 (24:29):
Wife in Lucci has announced he is going to trial.

Speaker 4 (24:31):
He rejected a plea deal that prosecutors gave him regarding
his Rico case. So they offered him a twenty year
census with seventeen years served in prison in exchange for
him pleading guilty to multiple charges. Those charges include felony murder, racketeering,
aggravated assault, and violation of the Street Gang Terrorism and
Prevention Act. But they said he is now rejecting that

(24:52):
plea deal and he's going to trial. That's a scary thing.

Speaker 6 (24:57):
Yeah, yes, it is trial now.

Speaker 5 (24:59):
He said the plead is absurd.

Speaker 6 (25:01):
It's twenty years, right.

Speaker 4 (25:03):
Yeah, twenty years. And they said the district attorney is
intentionally taking her time. The indictment says that wife and
Lucie is an associate of the bloods and is accused
of tampering with evidence of a homicide by concealing a
crime scene and vehicle by hiding it, assaulting someone by stanulation,
and encouraging the striking and kicking of that person for
playing rival gang music.

Speaker 6 (25:22):
So if he blows trial, how much does he get?
How much is he facing?

Speaker 5 (25:25):
Yeah, I don't know. I don't know what it's going
to be, but clearly worse than that plea deal.

Speaker 6 (25:29):
I mean, sometimes it's not that much worse. Twenty. You
will give me thirty if I.

Speaker 5 (25:34):
Blow, So in best case scenario, you win. It gets
thrown out, all right.

Speaker 4 (25:39):
Marlon Wayans was kicked off of a United Airlines flight
and he went on his Instagram to tell people about
the incident that happened.

Speaker 5 (25:47):
Here is what he has to say for Kansas City.

Speaker 16 (25:50):
I'm going to miss my shows tonight because of a
gay agent act United Airlines. So I'm gad agent, sometimes
you come across the United pick better people to work.

Speaker 7 (26:02):
For you man.

Speaker 4 (26:04):
So he is saying, this is unprecedented, people taking advantage
of their power. So basically he had three bags, right,
and they tell you can only have to carry on,
so he combined one of the bags and made it
just two bags.

Speaker 5 (26:16):
And here's what he had to say, happened.

Speaker 1 (26:18):
Your customer is always right. I'm willing to play that
video bag put the sound on. This man was wrong
and I was targeted. Corporate called me and they defend, well,
you know there is a two bag policy, right, and
so I took my three bags that turned it into two.
But then he got a text that there's no more

(26:39):
room on the play. So then why did all those
people before me and all these people after me have
two bags and three bags?

Speaker 6 (26:46):
You know that's crazy. I had to do that a
couple of times. Combine, combine the bags.

Speaker 8 (26:50):
If you have like three bags, well you and a
couple of people and you got too many bags, then
you got to take some stuff out.

Speaker 5 (26:55):
Yeah, one, and sometimes they'll put it in the bind
where you got to measure it to me.

Speaker 6 (27:00):
Yeah and then wait, yeah, right, absolutely.

Speaker 4 (27:02):
I wish if I would have been there, I'd have
been like, I'll take one of your bags for you,
because I always try to just have one carry on.
I know a lot of people don't like to check
their bags, and I can understand why because I've definitely
had bags lost.

Speaker 8 (27:12):
Or right, and I know I had that, but I
started checking bags me too lately, more more than ever,
because it's like, when you get on a plane, it
don't have no bags, it feels better right, walk on
the plane, just.

Speaker 4 (27:23):
Get on because you don't have to go through all that.
But I would have been like, I got one of
those bags for you.

Speaker 5 (27:27):
But it is true.

Speaker 4 (27:27):
Sometimes they can be very disrespectful, and I feel like
they have a lot of power on choosing who they
are helpful to and who they're not. Usually I have
a good experience, and I can understand how he feels
being you know, somebody who has flown over he said,
fifteen million miles in his lifetime and rarely has any problems.
So I've never seen him go in on an airline
like this. And they said the cops gave him a citation.

(27:50):
Really yeah, with all of that, because you know, when
you go to the airport, any little thing they.

Speaker 6 (27:55):
Can Yeah, I got kicked off plane before you have.

Speaker 5 (27:59):
I'm not shocked what happened.

Speaker 8 (28:03):
I was going walking into first class and then God
stopped me. He didn't stop nobody else. And then I
was like, why why are you stopping me? And then
as I was talking to some other man just hey, step.

Speaker 6 (28:16):
Out of the line, and I just lost it.

Speaker 5 (28:18):
That is crazy, and then it off.

Speaker 8 (28:20):
And then I started arguing with the with the dude,
it turned into you know, me being disrespectful and then
me being talking crazy and it was the last fight
of the night.

Speaker 5 (28:32):
So you were stuck.

Speaker 6 (28:32):
I was stuck.

Speaker 5 (28:34):
Well, let'son learn. I think I was doing again for me.

Speaker 4 (28:39):
I just feel like, when you're on the plane, you
gotta calm down because they have they can kick you
off for any reason, and then now you got to
figure it out fight it. I was on the flight
the other day and one of these guys was arguing
with somebody because they he cut the line. But he
was in first class, so you know how you can
cut the line when you're in first class. And the
guy said something to him and then he called the
guy a bozo, you know, for saying something. And then

(29:01):
he got on the plane and he was like, oh,
so you.

Speaker 5 (29:03):
In first class.

Speaker 4 (29:04):
He's like no, I'm in second class. And I was
like wow, and they started going. But I was like, look,
I don't argue on flights because I've seen people get
kicked off for arguments and I do not want to
get stuck. I don't play yeah, I don't want to
get stuck. It has to be like it happens.

Speaker 5 (29:18):
It's tough though, don't do it again, man, all right,
it's way yep. But Angela yee.

Speaker 4 (29:22):
That is your yet and when we come back, we
have under the radar. These are the stories that are
not headline news stories.

Speaker 5 (29:27):
They're under the radar. But you need to know about him.
It's way yeup put angela yeah.

Speaker 2 (29:31):
News. This in the news that relates to you. These
stories are flying under the radar.

Speaker 5 (29:37):
All right, it's way yeah, put Angela yee. And Maino
is here yep. And it's signed for these under the
radar stories.

Speaker 4 (29:44):
So this is going to affect us, but they're saying
other cities maybe next right, New York City is going
to start charging drivers who are going downtown below sixtieth Street,
and that price is going to be between nine and
twenty three dollars during peak hours. So that's to go
into effect next spring. This plan has been delayed for years.

(30:04):
They do this in other countries already, like in Stockholm, London,
and Singapore. They've been doing that for years, but no
other US city has yet implemented congestion. I'm not sure
how they do it, but you're gonna have to if
you're going down below sixtieth Street in Manhattan. And they're
saying yeah, and that's because there's about seven hundred thousand cars,

(30:27):
taxis and trucks in Lower Manhattan. It's one of the
busiest areas in the world with some of the worst gridlock.
They also talk about what it's doing for the air
and so it costs a lot of people money and
productivity and other costs as well. So the toll is
designed to reduce the number of vehicles that enter the
congestion zone. But they're saying it's going to start in
New York, but that's going to be the first place,

(30:49):
and then once it happens here other cities as well.

Speaker 6 (30:53):
I don't like that, mean neither. I don't like it
at all.

Speaker 4 (30:56):
We're on fifty sixth Street over here. Stop it definitely
below street. So they're also talking about pollution and other
things like that.

Speaker 6 (31:04):
Yeah, I'm not with it.

Speaker 4 (31:05):
I'd be right on the train, guys. Just FYI, all
right now. I'm also in New York. The Mayor Eric
Adams is talking about the situation with asylum seekers and migrants,
and he feels like there's there should be private residences
available for some of these migrants. Since April of twenty
twenty two, more than seventy thousand migrants have arrived in

(31:27):
New York City. On Monday, Mayor Eric Adams announced a
new partnership to open up more shelters, but he's also
suggesting perhaps private residences to deal with the influx of
people who are looking for a place to stay.

Speaker 5 (31:40):
Here's what he had to say.

Speaker 13 (31:42):
The closer we bring the asylum seekers and the migrants
to everyday New Yorkers, the easier it would be for
them to transition into society, but cheaper, and it's a
good investment for us to go to a family and
assist them instead of placing people in congregates settings or
in these emergency hotels.

Speaker 4 (32:03):
So he said, there's residents who have economic challenges now
and they have spare rooms that they can use, perhaps
to get paid to house people who are seeking asylum.

Speaker 6 (32:14):
Right, I think it all depends on the setup.

Speaker 8 (32:15):
If you've got like one bathroom and you all them
on same floors, kind of kind of weird.

Speaker 4 (32:21):
Yeah, but you know, it is a way to make money.
It's kind of like Airbnb. People rent out their rooms. Indea,
so it's like on airbnbs or is it one hundred
dollars a day? Yeah, that's what he's proposed a month. Yeah,
So I don't know how long you can do it
for or what the price. It's just a suggestion right now.
So it's an interesting one, all right, And that is

(32:42):
you're under the radar stories now. You know it's a Monday,
so let's party it up. We have The Way Up
Mixed coming at the top of the hour. Plus I'm
excited for this. Clarissa shield is going to be joining
us today. Are you familiar with Clarissa Shields.

Speaker 8 (32:55):
No, but you made me a little bit familiar when
you told me she could beat a man. And I'm
looking at Navy because i know they hate em, and I'm.

Speaker 4 (33:01):
She did MMA also, by the way, I'm saying, yeah,
she actually had two. And she's the only boxer to actually,
at the height of her career, right do an MMA match,
And she did too, and she won one.

Speaker 5 (33:12):
The other one she started with boxing first, and she's undefeated.

Speaker 4 (33:17):
By the way, she's the quote, yes, the quote, the
greatest woman of all time. She's the only boxer in history,
male or female, to hold all four major world titles
in boxing simultaneously in.

Speaker 5 (33:28):
Two weight classes. Right the throat, huge deal. All right,
it's way up with Angela Yee.

Speaker 2 (33:35):
She's like the tout, like a Angela Jean, like Angela Jee. Man,
she's spilling it all. This is yet way up.

Speaker 5 (33:45):
Yes, it is way up with Angela Ye. I'm Angela
Yee and Maino is here.

Speaker 6 (33:48):
No no, no man.

Speaker 4 (33:50):
When we came in this morning, we were talking about
that Floyd Mayweather fight that was on zeus and we
also talked about josh Lyn Hernandez fighting with Big Lex
in the audience were not the audience but off the val.

Speaker 5 (34:03):
Yes, with security.

Speaker 4 (34:03):
Well, now she's been arrested on four charges that includes
a battery domestic violence charges domestic yes, one of them
is trespassing unoccupied structure or conveyance and another one is
resisting an officer obstructed with violence. So I don't know
what's gonna happen, but she has been arrested. Her mugshot
is out there now as well, and there's all this

(34:26):
video of it, so I guess you can't really deny it.
So yeah, that's an update. On what's going on with Jocelyn.
And I saw people in the comments like she's gonna
get charged. Wait till she wakes up to these charges.
Well it looks like people that. Yeah, people were saying
you're gonna get charged with something because she did hit
some of the security, which are slapping swinging on everybody. Yeah,

(34:49):
all right now, DC young Flies spoke at his children's mother.
He had you know, they have three kids together, Jackie.
He spoke at her celebration of life and and this
was very heartbreaking to have to watch and the fact
that the family has to go through something like this.

Speaker 5 (35:05):
Here's what he had to say.

Speaker 3 (35:07):
I love you, jack The kids are beautiful, man. God
granted her strength to have three. You know, I was
trying to have sam Mo.

Speaker 6 (35:17):
She gonna beat me up for that one time.

Speaker 3 (35:21):
But I love you, girl, and I want our kids
to understand that you had a beautiful soul and you
didn't leave us.

Speaker 6 (35:27):
You in heaven, your spirit is with us.

Speaker 3 (35:29):
You're still here, and we got an amazing support system
that they came out.

Speaker 6 (35:34):
Love you, man.

Speaker 4 (35:38):
Listen again our prayers and condolences to that family. I
know how tough that has to be. I have not
heard anybody have anything negative to say about her. All
of her friends and supporters and family all just talk
about what an amazing.

Speaker 5 (35:52):
Supportive person she was.

Speaker 4 (35:53):
Yes, indeed, all right now, Nicki Minaj has been the
victim of swatting. Please receive some full reports that she
was abusing her child and that her house was on fire.
So there were two separate nine one one calls. One
said that her son was being abused and another one
said that she was stuck in a house fire. So
she's not going to let this slide. It could mean

(36:14):
criminal charges for whoever made these calls. You know, this
is a really popular thing. Wow, so stupid dumb that
when people call nine one one and then they have
the cops come to your house and it's called swatting
because it's usually a claim that's so outrageous that the swat.

Speaker 5 (36:28):
Team is usually deployed.

Speaker 6 (36:32):
Yes, made this up.

Speaker 4 (36:33):
People like to do this to celebrities. This has been
something that has been happening, So that has to be
so annoying. You home with your family and then you're.

Speaker 6 (36:42):
Like, what's going on?

Speaker 5 (36:43):
Yeah, and it's not a hard thing to find out
who's actually doing it?

Speaker 6 (36:47):
How do you find that out.

Speaker 4 (36:48):
They can trace like who you know, especially when you
call nine one one, they can figure out where those
calls came from. I don't know if there's technology that
can block that, but I've had situations where somebody was
kept on calling and doing things and sending deliveries and the.

Speaker 5 (37:02):
Cops found out who it was.

Speaker 6 (37:04):
So why keep doing it?

Speaker 5 (37:06):
They think it's funny, people are bored.

Speaker 6 (37:08):
Everybody think it's a joke, and so it's not a joke.

Speaker 4 (37:11):
And Nicki minajen Ice Spices have announced the Barbie World
release date. That's gonna be on June twenty third, so
you can actually pre save that now. In some good
news all right now, Sizza is reacting to the leak
of her Calling my Phone verse on Little TJ's Yes album,
and I guess she had some issues.

Speaker 5 (37:30):
With it, and she said, lmao.

Speaker 4 (37:32):
As for the Calling my Phone verse, I'm mad y'all
leaked it, but glad y'all liked it. I punked out
turning it and it happens a lot. Actually, I'd be
feeling like I can't add anything to songs that are
already fire, respect to Little TJ and Black and here
that is.

Speaker 17 (37:47):
Every day with yego about the same thing. The phonos
are the same name. More than I like to get
a vibe than you want you love who love are
even blue wash? I never know what going by. You
went out one line. I need to follow my dollars, Papa,

(38:10):
my college. Yes, no one knows us to trudge me.

Speaker 4 (38:14):
Okay, all right, siss sissus and little TJ is shooting
his shot right now, like I got something better for
you right now at Sissa and Black said, not gonna lie.
I listen with my hands over my ears because it
felt like a sin sound like butter though, and so
people were very excited for that.

Speaker 6 (38:34):
May No, no, I'm excited.

Speaker 5 (38:35):
Her picture is not on here step staring at this.

Speaker 6 (38:38):
It's no picture.

Speaker 5 (38:38):
Let me tell you something in case you don't know.

Speaker 4 (38:40):
May No love him some scissor Okay, anytime her name
comes up, he's like, all.

Speaker 6 (38:45):
Right, I got where's the picture?

Speaker 5 (38:46):
Where's the picture? All right?

Speaker 4 (38:48):
Well that was you're yeat. And when we come back,

you know it's a Monday and we gotta do Monday renovation.
I just want to say, our board app is Jamaican
and he is so tired of Meno's Jamaican Jamaican accent,
and then he has a Jamaican walk when he walks.

Speaker 8 (39:28):
Yeah, really, why real, true, true, rude boy bigs you
got into five bigs.

Speaker 5 (39:37):
All right, well let's give it some Monday man renovation.

Speaker 8 (39:40):
And you know what, here was the thing like we
were talking earlier, and you gave me an idea because
we talked about Clarissa.

Speaker 5 (39:44):
Wasn't that to be on the show today?

Speaker 6 (39:47):
Right in the quote the throat, the gut, the.

Speaker 5 (39:52):
Greatest woman of all time.

Speaker 4 (39:53):
I'm sorry when it comes to boxing men and women,
she got the bouts, baby got it.

Speaker 8 (39:58):
But you said something about her, gave me an idea.
You said she had to invest in herself. Yes, sometimes
and a lot of times things don't go the way
we want it to go. And a lot of us
have dreams, a lot of us have visions, and everybody
is not gonna see our vision. Everybody's not gonna see
our value. Everybody's not gonna understand what it's gonna take

(40:18):
for us to be on our journey because everybody's trying
to do nothing and follow what they trying to get done.

Speaker 6 (40:23):
You have to invest in yourself.

Speaker 8 (40:26):
It's nothing wrong with taking the little bit of money
that you got if you believe hard enough, because sometimes
you're gonna be forced into positions and have to invest
in yourself, not only monetary, but also investing your time,
investing your energy. Sometimes you gotta be selfish with that
to invest in yourself because you're gonna be put in
positions where you're gonna have to prove yourself and you

(40:47):
can't wait for somebody else to see your vision and
do it for you. You got to step away from
that and do it yourself. Invest in yourself.

Speaker 5 (40:56):
I love that, And you know when you said that
to me, I know we talk a lot.

Speaker 4 (41:00):
By the way, when the MIC's off, me and Mana
are chatting it up, and I was talking about fifty
cents and he recently did an interview for a Vulture
and he was talking about stars and how he actually
took this. He was talking about power and how he
actually took Power to HBO, Showtime, Paramount, and Hulu.

Speaker 5 (41:19):
They all passed on.

Speaker 4 (41:20):
The show before it lanted at Stars, and he discussed
basically changing up his pitch, and what he did was
he got six songs and when they went into the
meetings to pitch, they would play a minute and thirty
seconds of a song and then Courtney the EP would
talk about a piece of the character. He said, it's
so different from what they were hearing in any other pitch.

Speaker 5 (41:40):
So that's when they.

Speaker 4 (41:40):
Sold it to Stars, right, But just imagine if he
would have given up right and said, look, they already
passed at HBO, a Showtime, at Paramount, at Hulu, it's
not happening. I already went to some of the major
players and it just must not be a good show.
And now he's got a whole Power universe at Stars
and all those spin offs and everything. So sometimes you

(42:03):
do have to also invest your time and pivot and
do it different.

Speaker 6 (42:08):
Differently, step back, and then you know, go at it
from a different angle.

Speaker 16 (42:12):
Yeah.

Speaker 4 (42:12):
I like that because I think for a lot of
people that I've seen, like Joe Coy, the comedian, he
talks about how when he did his first special, nobody
was paying him to do the special, so he went ahead,
you know, book the shows himself and then filmed it
and then you know, they bought his special to put
it on TV. But he had to actually fund everything himself.

(42:34):
But he ended up making way more money that way, right.

Speaker 6 (42:36):
Invest in yourself, yes, men, I.

Speaker 5 (42:40):
Love it, And that means also your education.

Speaker 4 (42:43):
You know, sometimes you may want to do something and
if you can get some type of certification, it can
make you more of an authority figure.

Speaker 8 (42:51):
In a space because because you're sitting around waiting for
somebody else to do it for you, is not gonna
It's not gonna work exactly.

Speaker 5 (42:57):
So that's a great Monday Mannovation.

Speaker 4 (43:00):
Whatever you need to do for yourself, stop waiting for
other people to invest in you. Invest in yourself and
in the long run, you'll have a lot more levels.
Right right Monday man Ovasion. And today we do have
Clarissa Shields joining us. I'm excited for that, somebody who
invested in herself from an early age to get to
the status where she is, you know, to have all

(43:21):
the belts that she has, all the accolades that she has,
and I feel like she still doesn't get the recognition
that she deserves. Clarissa Shield is going.

Speaker 6 (43:28):
To be joining us take it.

Speaker 4 (43:30):
And on Friday we had Charae Whitfield here shout out
to ch Okay Real Housewives of Atlanta, and a lot
of people had things to say about her appearance when
we posted the video, also about the interview that we did,
and I want to discuss that when we come back,
because I do want to say.

Speaker 5 (43:46):
She looked amazing when she came up here.

Speaker 4 (43:47):
So when people were commenting, I was like, that's not
what I saw in person, but we'll talk about it.

Speaker 5 (43:53):
It's way up with Angela Yee.

Speaker 2 (43:55):
Going way out out with Angela Yee This.

Yes, it's way up with Angela Ye, Angela Yee. And
Mano is here.

Speaker 6 (45:54):
Yes I am now mayno, yeah.

Speaker 4 (45:58):
Look I'm still losing my voice? Is that even though
that air quality is supposedly better now? Charay but Phil
was on the show from Real Housepis of Atlanta, and
I saw a lot of people on social media basically
posting her face. People were saying she looks like Hazel
E now and so on and so forth. I just
want to say that when we were up here in person,

(46:19):
Charae looked really good.

Speaker 6 (46:21):
She didn't give you hazely vibes and messina.

Speaker 5 (46:23):
I just she didn't look like Hazel E up here.

Speaker 4 (46:25):
I didn't see that when I was up here, like
she just looked like I think the blonde here can
sometimes also make you look way different when people change
their hair color, because she just has the she had
the blonde on, so a lot of what people were
saying in person, it didn't look bad, like how you know,
people are trying to say that she doesn't look like
herself now camera, maybe it looked a little different.

Speaker 6 (46:49):
I saw.

Speaker 4 (46:49):
She was also on Watch What Happens Live with Andy
Cohen and here's what he asked her, Tom.

Speaker 12 (46:54):
We have something different about you, Chara, what about looking
out if you had a little tune.

Speaker 6 (46:58):
Up lip, a little tune up, tune up now?

Speaker 4 (47:13):
I saw on Straight from the A they linked to
an article where they show what her nose used to
look like. So maybe she did have Sometimes it is
make up too, by the way, you know. Yeah, thank
you Mana for knowing.

Speaker 6 (47:28):
That that was crazy.

Speaker 8 (47:29):
I found that out though. How did you find that
I was talking to somebody that I was like, no,
she got like a perfect nose. And then a scene
when when the makeup rubbed off, and it was like
why and what happens is is like the conto. Yeah, yeah,
they make it where the nose looks more narrow.

Speaker 5 (47:46):
I wish you could see man know showing us how
the contour.

Speaker 6 (47:48):
This is crazy to me. You don't understand like this
the catfishing is out of hand.

Speaker 4 (47:53):
So yeah, what normally it is is like the highlight
down the middle of your nose and then on the
side you put like the darker makeup that people start
and it does make your nose look way you are
can make listen without make up, A lot of us
look very different. I have to say, I'm sure you've

(48:14):
had experiences where I rolled over and was like, what
make a ball on the pillow?

Speaker 5 (48:19):
What happened to? Who are you? What happened to the
person I was?

Speaker 7 (48:25):
Who are you?

Speaker 4 (48:26):
It's hard, though, guys, y'all don't understand. It's hard to
be outside without makeup on.

Speaker 8 (48:31):
And see, guys, we don't have all that. We just
got sometimes to make up. We just get a haircut
and come wear a hat. That don't really wear too
many hats every now.

Speaker 5 (48:40):
Guys look very different when they don't have a hat on.

Speaker 6 (48:42):
And that don't count because the cat fishing is out
of hand.

Speaker 5 (48:46):
Call that hat fishing.

Speaker 8 (48:47):
Need you need to be that need to be against
the law, like like the way that females look on
social media compared to the way that they really look
in real life.

Speaker 6 (48:56):
That should be a crime.

Speaker 4 (48:57):
Well, you know, we just try to look our best.
But the best thing is when people say you look
better in person. That's really nice. When people say that,
then that's amazing. That's what you strive for. All right, Well,
thank you again to Cheri and I got my she
by Cherie. I'm gonna wear that one day only promise.
That sweatsuit is so thick. I think it's too hot
to kind of wear it right now, but I'm gonna
try to make sure I do that so y'all can

(49:18):
see it.

Speaker 5 (49:18):
But when we come back, we.

Speaker 4 (49:19):
Have Clarissa's shields and she was at this Floyd Mayweather
versus John got it the third fight.

Speaker 6 (49:23):
Oh she fought to No, No, she did.

Speaker 5 (49:28):
There.

Speaker 4 (49:28):
Everybody fought supporting. No, she did not fight anybody. I
think her hands are registered weapons. But she's the only
boxer in history, female or male, to hold all four
major world titles in boxing and also in two way
classes simultaneously, and she does mma as well.

Speaker 5 (49:45):
At the height of her career, she's only twenty eight
years old.

Speaker 4 (49:48):
Stayed Claire Flint, Michigan's one Clarissa's Shilds is going to
be joining us when we come back.

Speaker 5 (49:52):
It's way up with Angela. Yee.

Speaker 3 (49:55):
Yay.

Speaker 2 (49:55):
She back at it. Bring in the way up with Angelaye?

Speaker 5 (50:00):
What's up?

Speaker 4 (50:01):
Its way up with Angela yee. And y'all know this
is exciting. If you know me, you know how much
I love this person I'm about to interview.

Speaker 6 (50:08):
She is the ghot.

Speaker 5 (50:09):
It is Clarissa Shields. Welcome.

Speaker 4 (50:13):
The reason why I'm excited to have is because I
just love everything that you've been doing for the sport
of boxing and for women, yes in general, but women
in boxing too, and the journey that you've been on.
You're from Flint, Michigan. You're the first headliner at Little
Caesar's for boxing.

Speaker 7 (50:28):
Yeah, it's fifteen thousand fans. I sold twelve thousand seats.
Boxing hasn't been making in Detroit for years, and they
chose me to bring you back.

Speaker 4 (50:36):
Even when I was watching the fight, right, because I
watched this last fight that you have with wasn't a
Maricella Cornejo. But yeah, so I was watching that and
I was thinking to myself, the rounds for women's boxing
is different than men's boxing, right, it's only two minutes,
and it's only ten rounds as opposed to twelve, twelve
and three minutes, And so I was looking at it
like cause there were certain times when I felt like,

(50:57):
at the end of the eighth round, I felt like,
if that would have went a little long, you know,
an extra minute and all of those rounds because your
endurance is amazing, Thank you. But for you, what are
your thoughts on rounds for women being only two minutes
and then for it to have only ten rounds as
opposed to twelve.

Speaker 7 (51:13):
Well, I just was speaking on this yesterday when I
got the Fighter of the Year award that at least
gave us the championship rounds. If you don't want to
give us the minutes, because jumper from fighting twenty minutes
to fight in thirty six is a huge jump. At
least let us fight twelve two minute rounds so where
it's twenty four minutes versus the thirty six, because why
are we fighting ten rounds. It's a world championship fight.

(51:34):
We need to fight twelve. But I'm also an advocate
for them letting us fight three minutes for twelve rounds
also equal to the men, because how can you ask
for equality but you do less work. We don't make
the rules to where we have to fight ten rounds
for two minutes. Those rules are made by someone for us.

Speaker 5 (51:53):
Is it supposed to be a safety issue? Is that
what they're saying.

Speaker 7 (51:55):
The reason is they have said some research that nobody
can find that they did back in the nineteen nineties
and nineteen eighties on women said that women had weaker
next than men, which we knew that because they have
bigger bones, and that women get concussions easier than men.

Speaker 4 (52:14):
Really, to me, restudied and right, yeah, because I didn't
know where that came from.

Speaker 5 (52:19):
And I was like, man, we need another you know,
another minute here in this round.

Speaker 7 (52:23):
No, for sure, because I was rocking her world.

Speaker 4 (52:26):
Okay, right now we are talking to the groat, the
greatest women of all time, Clarissa Shields. And let's also
talk about just you as an undefeated champion, the groat
as we call it.

Speaker 5 (52:36):
Hold on, let me make sure I say this right.

Speaker 4 (52:37):
So you are the only boxing in the history, male
or female, to capture boxing's four major titles in two
different divisions.

Speaker 5 (52:44):
Yes, right, So that's a lot of pressure too.

Speaker 7 (52:46):
At the same time, I love fighting. I don't know
how to put it, Like people get nervous in the
grade to fight, I get excited.

Speaker 4 (52:53):
You said that boxing saves your life. Yes, so being
from Flint, Michigan, what was that like and what was
your life like before box?

Speaker 10 (53:00):
All?

Speaker 7 (53:00):
My life before boxing was trash. I had a terrible childhood,
you know, from my mom dealing with alcohol abuse, from
my dad going to prison, from me being raped at
the age of five. My childhood was not the best.
I'm just thankful that I had an untee and a
granny who put us in church and let me know that.
It taught me that God had my back. And even

(53:20):
though my life was so bad, we were going with
old food. I didn't have a bed till I was
seventeen years old when I won the Olympics. After I
won the Olympics, I bought myself a bed. But like
I said, I just kept the faith and kept and
just kept working hard. And now I'm the person that
take care of my family.

Speaker 5 (53:36):
And who got you into boxing my dad.

Speaker 7 (53:39):
You know, actually I start boxing to make my dad happy,
like so he can live some of his life through me.
It wasn't really like something, Oh, I want a box.
I didn't even know really what boxing was. I asked
my dad what was he passionate about? And he said boxing.
He said if he wouldn't have went to prison, he
would have been a great boxing champion. And I thought
to myself at that moment, I'm a box make my

(53:59):
day happy.

Speaker 4 (54:00):
So do you remember your early what were your early
days like boxing? Because you're only what are you? Twenty
eight years old?

Speaker 10 (54:05):
Now?

Speaker 4 (54:05):
Twenty eight year is still so young? But can you
remember your early first matches?

Speaker 7 (54:10):
I remember every match. I just remember turning pro and
getting my first check for fifty thousand dollars. That's what
I remember.

Speaker 4 (54:18):
Well, what would the men have gotten when they went
pro and go They ain't making fifty thousand?

Speaker 7 (54:23):
And actually I talked to one of the greats and
he was like, I ain't even make fifty thousands. I'm like,
I know I can make type money you met now,
It's right. Just got to work my way up there.
But it was at Timobile Arena. We were like maybe
the first or second fight there, me and Franchion Cruise,
and I just remember like it being like half a
crowd there for our fight already because I had just
won the Olympics twice. Women know they thou.

Speaker 4 (54:45):
Heard of too, right, the Olympic winning the gold medal
twice for American no.

Speaker 7 (54:50):
Other boxing has done in history but myself in America.

Speaker 4 (54:52):
All right, I just want to make sure we keep
pointing these things out as you just be glossing over it.

Speaker 5 (54:57):
So what's next?

Speaker 4 (54:58):
Because I don't know who? Clear she just can even fight?
It's not like you're running from anybody. No, who can
you possibly fight next?

Speaker 7 (55:06):
I have to say, you know it has franchise cruise
versus Savannah Marshall coming up July first on his own.

Speaker 5 (55:11):
And Savannah Marshall wants to fight you again.

Speaker 7 (55:13):
Yeah, she want to get beat up again. That's what
you say. I'm open to fighting the winner of that
at one sixty eight for the Unrespitter Championship. It got
girls that one fifty four who got belts. I can
make one fifty four and gonna fight them.

Speaker 4 (55:25):
Right now we are talking to the guoat the greatest
woman of all time, Clarissa Shields.

Speaker 5 (55:29):
So do you know when you when you're next fight?
Do you have like a date already in mind?

Speaker 7 (55:33):
Maybe September, October, November the latest?

Speaker 5 (55:37):
What do you think when you see Floyd doing these
ZEUS fights.

Speaker 7 (55:39):
I'll actually be going to his fight on Sunday.

Speaker 6 (55:44):
I love Floyd Mayw Man.

Speaker 7 (55:46):
I'm like, this guy is just he's so humble, man,
He's so nice. He just he was so respectful at
least toward me, and he always showed me like so
much love and just I want my life to be
just like his, Like everything can go how he wanted
to go. Everybody follow him and do what he want
to do, like he's like the super Boss. And I
just love that somebody actually makes their life their own.

(56:10):
I feel like sometime us as celebrities and us as
me and big sisters or whatever, we always find ourselves
a living for other people. And I'm just now starting
to live for myself, you know. And I've always taken
care of everybody else. I put boyfriends before I put myself,
you know, friends before put myself, kids, sister, kids, family, fiance,

(56:31):
I'll have no fiance. When did that happen?

Speaker 9 (56:34):
Girl?

Speaker 7 (56:35):
Girl? Were only on TV?

Speaker 5 (56:38):
Hold on, hold on cuz I remember the posts, all right?

Speaker 6 (56:42):
So that ended?

Speaker 5 (56:43):
When did that end?

Speaker 7 (56:44):
A few months ago?

Speaker 5 (56:45):
Okay?

Speaker 7 (56:46):
Yeah, we just like we just recently really really called
it off recently. I just relationships are hard, and I
feel like when you have a relationship with God, he
lets you know, like he tells you going to have
abundant happiness. So you know, when you find yourself in
a relationship and you're not happy, and you know, I'm

(57:07):
not a person to complain do all the crying, Like
if I tell you something once or.

Speaker 5 (57:11):
Twice, yeah, let's work on it. Let's fix it.

Speaker 7 (57:13):
Yeah, let's just fix it, because I don't like to
kind of harp over the same thing and it just
seem like, you know, I can't change him. I don't
want to change him. He's a great guy, so I
don't want to change him. I'm just probably not not
the one for him.

Speaker 5 (57:27):
Yeah. I find that's too in relationships and working anything
that you do.

Speaker 4 (57:30):
If I'm not happy with something and I put it
out there and things don't change and I don't become,
you know, happy, then it's time to say, maybe this
just isn't it.

Speaker 7 (57:39):
Yeah, And you know what, And it doesn't mean that
you have to pretend that the person died and I
talk to someone like that's just so childish. People be like,
oh we broke, well, we broke and we spent all
these years together, but now you don't exist to me.
It's like, I feel like that's maybe needed for healing
for a short time, but to be like that for
the rest of our lives. And we just spent two
three years together.

Speaker 5 (57:58):
Yeah, the best thing is when y'all can still be friends.

Speaker 4 (58:00):
But I will say immediately after, you can't keep acting
like you're still in a relationship, because then you get
back comfortable again.

Speaker 7 (58:06):
Yeah, and that's why I just like, it's not anybody else.
It's just that I don't think I need to be
in a relationship. I'm still trying to grow and that's
your decision for yourself to who I am. And I'm
really not. I'm my all that type of time, like
I got to I'm number one in the world. I
have a great career, I have so much more to do,
and to make everything that I want to do easier,
I have to be happy. I have to be abundantly happy.

(58:28):
So I'm not happy. I just nothing works. Everything just
seems harder if I'm stressed out.

Speaker 4 (58:33):
All right, Clarissa Shields is here with us, and we
are going to get all into her business. She is
not just a boxer she's also a mixed martial artist.
All right, she has multiple world championships. And we're gonna
come back and talk more with Clarissa Shields.

Speaker 2 (58:50):
You ride the way up with Angela?

Speaker 5 (58:53):
What happens way up with Angela?

Speaker 1 (58:54):
Yee?

Speaker 4 (58:54):
And I am talking to the guilt the greatest woman
of all time, Clarissa Shields. What are some of the
things that you do when you're getting ready to fight,
like in preparation, right before you get in the ring.
What are some of the dust that go on in
your head for you to be like, Okay, you know,
I gotta clean my head or do you uh, do
you have to like foresee what's gonna happen at the
end of the fight.

Speaker 5 (59:13):
Like what's your routine?

Speaker 7 (59:14):
You know, I'll take one day at a time. So
first thing first is when I first start camp is
putting that no sex thing down.

Speaker 6 (59:21):
You know, I'll go six and these get weak sex.

Speaker 7 (59:24):
And that's one of the decisions, Like well, like the
day before you're like, hey, you know you're ready, right
oral sex nothing, okay, don't touch me, don't kiss in okay, no,
I'll kiss or whatever, but like anything, you know, oral sex,
real sex, anything, but.

Speaker 5 (59:42):
You can cuddle, you can do all that. I don't
even do that because that might lead.

Speaker 6 (59:46):
To yeah, you know, I see.

Speaker 7 (59:47):
You know what I'm talking now because I'm transforming to
this beasts. So that requires like sex, make you feel
relaxed and all time and stuff. You don't want to
be relaxed and you got a pit bull on your legs,
try to knock you out. You want to be relaxed
and I want to be alert. So that's the first thing.
And then just to diet, you know, cutting off all
your favorite foods, all your favorite candy. For me, it

(01:00:08):
is candy me too, That does it. I love I
definitely am addicted to sugar. They used to call me
candy Angie growing up. Okay, that's a cute nick name.

Speaker 5 (01:00:15):
Yeah, but it's not good.

Speaker 7 (01:00:19):
So cutting that off and then is just getting in
the routine of Okay, I train three times a day
for two days, and then I do Then I train
one time a day, okay, three times, three times, then
once and you just keep doing that all without camp
keeping that same schedule, eating super healthy. I have an
alarms all in my phone reminded me keep drinking water,

(01:00:40):
super focused. I got an alarm saying, hey, it's it's
time to gready cut your phone off. Like I have
so many different things, let.

Speaker 5 (01:00:48):
Me ask you this, So, did you watch the Devin
Handy Lomachenko fight?

Speaker 7 (01:00:51):
Yes? I did.

Speaker 5 (01:00:52):
Well, Now, what were your thoughts about that? Because that's
how a lot of people are weighing in on.

Speaker 4 (01:00:56):
Some people didn't feel like Devon Handy one as an expert,
as a box of yourself and that fail.

Speaker 7 (01:01:00):
What did you think Devin Haney wanted to fight?

Speaker 12 (01:01:03):
To me?

Speaker 7 (01:01:03):
Now, this is what I will say, because he died
down toward the end of the rounds, I will say
that he won the fight, but he lost the war.
And what's that meaning is he let Lomachenko mentally feel
like he was still in the fight seven rounds to
five for Devin. It was a good fight. It was
a close fight, but to me, Devin Haney won. And

(01:01:25):
I was just really disappointed to see all these celebrities
who you never hear speaking my box and go on
to someone else. I'm never supporting this sport again, Like
not go back and watch the fight without the commentary
because the commentary also will persuade people thoughts.

Speaker 4 (01:01:45):
Right now we are talking to the groat the greatest
woman of all time, Clarissa Shells, and then he's ready
for Javonte Davis.

Speaker 7 (01:01:51):
Now I believe that that'll be a really great fight.
I think Dravonte Davis holds the punch and power. I
think there's only one fire that can be all and
that's of course Stevens.

Speaker 5 (01:02:02):
Okay, that could be next too.

Speaker 4 (01:02:03):
All right, well, clinic Sis Shells, I think we can
look forward to seeing you, hopefully in November.

Speaker 5 (01:02:08):
Yes, rite for another fight. A Hayman hopefully is watching this.

Speaker 4 (01:02:11):
Because you have a free agent, girl man call me
and new music. So what's gonna happen with the music?
I know you had this new song? Yes, just the
rest of the quote Round one streaming on Apple Music
and Spotify.

Speaker 7 (01:02:25):
Make sure you guys go.

Speaker 6 (01:02:26):
Listen to it.

Speaker 4 (01:02:26):
Are you gonna do more music or yeah? This actually
is like my fourth song, Okay, but this is my
best one. Okay, I feel it sounds good. Did you
write it yourself?

Speaker 5 (01:02:34):
Yeah? Girl, Now somebody might have wrote the song gave
it to you. I don't know.

Speaker 7 (01:02:39):
It had took me about six to eight weeks to
do that whole song. Because first of all, when you
hear the beat. It's a hell of a beat, yea,
from the track to my guy Heleva.

Speaker 5 (01:02:47):
I love Heleva.

Speaker 4 (01:02:48):
Okay, Heleva just came through like he hearing Detroit artist
has a hell of a beat, okay for real, like.

Speaker 7 (01:02:53):
From T Grizzy to everybody. But when he slid the beat,
you know, I'm like, I'm listening to it and immediately
just start just start writing. I'm like, then I would
stop like a So I have been practicing for about
two or three weeks and then I got in a
booth the week of my fight. I had my cousins,
my friends, I had an entourage with me, and it

(01:03:14):
just was like the best studio session I've ever had.

Speaker 5 (01:03:18):
It felt good.

Speaker 7 (01:03:19):
And when I got done, I'm like, I gotta get
this mask, I gotta dress this. So I think I'm
gonna do like a round one through round team.

Speaker 5 (01:03:26):
That's dope. Yeah, what can you not do?

Speaker 4 (01:03:29):
I mean, you know, I can't work like a porn start,
but I feel like you'll make that happen at some point.

Speaker 5 (01:03:36):
If you put your mind to it. Clear sishan Us
could do anything. Yeah for sure.

Speaker 7 (01:03:40):
You know right now, you guys, I'm looking forward to
being in some movies. I want to be in a
swimsuit cover.

Speaker 5 (01:03:46):
Okay, you know I can do it. I can see it,
Puma call me. All right, we're putting everything out in
the atmosphere.

Speaker 7 (01:03:53):
I would see my athlete. I love their I love
their outfits and their clothes and cover girl look.

Speaker 5 (01:03:57):
Easy, breezy. And by the way, guys, she's single.

Speaker 7 (01:04:03):
Single, not ready to mingle.

Speaker 5 (01:04:05):
Okay, all right, well, thank you so much for coming
to see us.

Speaker 4 (01:04:09):
It is Claricia Shills the quote undefeated baby, and when
we come back, I'm here with the world renowned award
winning advice giver Mayo. We have asked ye when we
come back eight hundred and two nine two fifty one fifty.
It's way up at Angela Yee.

Speaker 9 (01:04:22):
I'm going everybody since whether it's relationship or career advice,
Angela's dropping facts.

Speaker 2 (01:04:28):
You should know.

Speaker 6 (01:04:29):
This is ask ye, what's up?

Speaker 4 (01:04:31):
Its way up at Angela yee. I'm Angela Yee, and
I'm here with my cohort Mayo. He is an award
winning advice giver. Yes, and we're ready for asking you.
Look at you, you so ready.

Speaker 6 (01:04:42):
I give the greatest advice.

Speaker 5 (01:04:43):
All right, Well, Shane is on the line, so we're
going to see about that.

Speaker 11 (01:04:45):
What's up, Shane, Hi, Angela, how are you doing?

Speaker 2 (01:04:48):
I'm good. How are you?

Speaker 11 (01:04:50):
I'm doing good. Glad to get through to you guys,
y'all every day.

Speaker 5 (01:04:54):
Well, thank you, We appreciate you. So what is your question.

Speaker 11 (01:04:58):
I'm in an interracial relationship. I'm a white guy. My
girlfriend is a black girl. Over to death. We've been
dating before over about.

Speaker 15 (01:05:06):
A year and a half now the ring is on
the way. My question is we get stared at a
lot from you know, both white people and black people
as well, and it really bothers my girlfriend, okay, to
the point where we don't go out to bars and
places like that because she just gets gets really worked up,

(01:05:30):
doesn't want anyone to like confront us, so hard to
go out when we were dealing with that, right, that's.

Speaker 5 (01:05:36):
A shame that people in this world still act like that.

Speaker 4 (01:05:39):
And you know, I'm a product of an interracial relationship myself,
so I know I can feel your pain because other
people's prejudices and biases can really affect your situation. And
I hate the fact that by the search of the
point where she doesn't even want to go out anymore.

Speaker 6 (01:05:56):
That's Yeah.

Speaker 11 (01:05:57):
One instance was winning to the bar and she just
kind of shut down and I'm just trying to cool
off situation half and everything. But then it's like I'm looking,
you know, fun and happy, or this girl looks like
she's gonna beat me up because of it, And I'm like,
so for those situations.

Speaker 6 (01:06:17):
Like that, what, like, I guess, so you don't you
don't want to go out because you're getting stare at.

Speaker 11 (01:06:23):
I mean I do, she does not.

Speaker 8 (01:06:26):
I probably would have stared at you myself. I don't know,
depending if you had like, you know, girlfriend anyway.

Speaker 4 (01:06:32):
I want to say this, you cannot control how other
people react to you, but what you can control is
how you react to their reactions. Right, I can't control
what anyone else does, but I can't control myself. And
I never want to give anybody the power to make
me feel uncomfortable or awkward.

Speaker 5 (01:06:49):
If anything, I'm gonna make you feel uncomfortable with that.

Speaker 8 (01:06:52):
Yeah, standing on your business, if that's the choice that
you made, and that decision you went back, you went black,
never going back.

Speaker 6 (01:06:59):
You should just stand on that. And it don't matter
if they stare at, give them something to stare at yeah.

Speaker 5 (01:07:03):
Yeah, and be like hey, can I help you? Or
take a picture the last longer.

Speaker 4 (01:07:07):
All of those little lines that you can say to
people who are ignorant embarrass them.

Speaker 11 (01:07:12):
Yeah, because we love each other a lot, so I
want us to be happy as possible in.

Speaker 4 (01:07:17):
Public, right, And I hate that she feels that way,
But I do have to say, don't let people have
the power to make you feel like I can't go
out anymore.

Speaker 5 (01:07:25):
I'm not doing this.

Speaker 4 (01:07:26):
You'all got to have each other's back. You gotta laugh
at these ignorant people. They probably be by themselves too.

Speaker 6 (01:07:32):
I've had we know may.

Speaker 5 (01:07:37):
Yeah, Mano has no problem with doing this.

Speaker 4 (01:07:40):
By the way, He's definitely dated white women, all different races.

Speaker 5 (01:07:44):
No big deal. And FYI is twenty.

Speaker 4 (01:07:46):
Twenty three, and you got to tell people that, yes, yeah,
it's twenty twenty three. And it's unfortunate that it might
be a little bit more difficult when people you know,
have little snag comments to making things to say, but
call them out.

Speaker 11 (01:07:59):
I get a little jealous when people come up to
me or and be like my girlfriend, oh you are
so beautiful and everything.

Speaker 6 (01:08:06):
I'm like, you should be proud of that. Yeah, you
should be should be proud of that.

Speaker 11 (01:08:10):
I am proud of it, but you know I would
like a compliment her to myself.

Speaker 4 (01:08:14):
Well she's clearly better looking than you. Now I'm kidding,
but listen, that all is a testament to who you are.
That you were able to bag her and then she's
in love with you.

Speaker 11 (01:08:25):
Oh yeah, there you go.

Speaker 4 (01:08:27):
Listen, be proud, and just deal with how you react
to people's reactions. You know it's coming, so you get
ready for it, and just make sure you go out
and have a good time. People hate that own it.
People hate that happiness. If they want to hate, give
them something to hate on.

Speaker 6 (01:08:41):
It's right.

Speaker 5 (01:08:42):
Oh yeah, all right, Well, thank you for calling.

Speaker 11 (01:08:47):
Thank you so much, and I really appreciate it. And
you may.

Speaker 5 (01:08:54):
Even said it like a white guy.
