Happy Woke Wednesday. Halfway through this week and preparing I know,
at least I am preparing for some Pride activities this
weekend in New York City. What do I want to

things that are just like gnawing at me, if you will, so,

a story that comes across Joe Biden is closing the

trying to lose the selection? Like? Are you trying to
create absolutely no daylight between yourself and the Republican Party?
Or is it that your advisors are offering to you

bullshit polling that shows that somehow Republicans and or independents
are going to vote for you if in fact, you
model Donald Trump and the Republicans inhumane policies that I
use air quotes against people seeking asylum. What I want

folks to understand, and I've said this before, so I
know you all know, but then you parrot it to
your people, your circles, your friends, the questions that people
need to be asking themselves about our immigration crisis, because
I'm not going to lie, we do have a crisis.
When I moved into my neighborhood, you very rarely saw

homeless people a one and there were absolutely no migrants. Right.
How do I know that my neighborhood that things have
gotten considerably bad in terms of the migrant situation. Is
that on a regular basis, I see small families with

signs of people that don't speak any English at all.
Who we are seeing more so on subways selling candy,
selling anything that they can to make any bit of money.
But that there is an influx of people that are
not being housed properly, that are being given some access

in New York City, for instance, children to school. But
there is an issue. But the question isn't about who
is here and how do we deal with them? Sure,
but the question is what have we done to their countries?
How has the United States contributed to the instability that

we are seeing in Central America and countries in South America?
Why they are making their way to the United States
Like this did not happen in isolation. These issues of instability,

of drugs, of gangs, of all of these things happened
because of the United States and other countries meddling into
the business of Central America moving around whatever leaders they
think are going to serve their own countries' needs and

not that of the people in that country. And so
after decades and decades of doing so, destroying the economy,
making it easier for arms to flow between these places
as well as drugs, we arrive at this point. So

the question isn't about how do we stop people from
coming into the United States, It's how do we stabilize
the countries that they are coming from, given that we
are part of the reason for the instability. But I
realized that why we don't have those conversations, because then
the United States would have to take responsibility. And if

there is anything that the United States never does, not
even with its own citizens in this fucking country, it's
take responsibility for their actions, right, because that would require acknowledgment, accountability,
and then restitution, none of which America wants to do,

not with its own citizens. And sure it's fuck not
with migrants coming to the country. So instead, we turn
those people whose country we have been a party to
destroying into the problem, as opposed to figuring out, well,

what do we do to restabilize places like Venezuela, Honduras,
Guatemala and others, Like what is it that we need
to do? What will the cost be? How do we
build up the infrastructure for a political shift that would

allow for stability to make its way in? People will say, well,
we need to deal with a problem that's in front
of us right now. All of it is in front
of us right now. But Joe Biden deciding to do
a Republican fucking pivot on this doesn't serve the Democratic
base for fucking shore. And so I just continue to

ask myself when I see the things that this administration
is doing, who in fact they are trying to help?
I honestly am confused. Let me tell you the other
thing that I'm confused about. Story number two. So we

all know now, right, Donald Trump is a convicted fucking
felon right thirty four felony guilty charges against him, and
the mainstream media is having a conversation about whether or
not it's going to affect his chances to be president,

and basically making the fact that, for the first time
in US history, a president of the United States has
been found guilty of criminal charges. And that is historic
in and of itself. And what does that say about
the laws that actually allow for somebody with a felony
not to vote in this country in certain states, but

to be able to become president of the United States.
How does that make sense? And if Donald Trump was
able to be found guilty by a panel of everyday
American citizens who understood a fifty some odd page list
of directives for them, how is it that members of

the Republican Party can't Oh, it's not that they can't.
Let me say that they won't because of that. Of
all of the Republicans that these motherfuckers could have chosen
from to be their next messiah, who wasn't a criminal,
who wasn't up against multiple trials, who wasn't just found

guilty of thirty four charges, they couldn't find anybody else.
And I go back to when and Donald Trump was
acquitted of impeachment in the Senate. These Republicans, if they
really wanted to have done away with Donald Trump, they
have had multiple chances to do so. So we need

some moment, some aha when Republicans come back to Earth
one they are gone. So again, I go back to
the first story. I don't understand the moves that Biden
is making. Who are you increasing this tent for? Because

Because the actions that you are taking, it's not the

like us to be very clear and conscious that mainstream

to understand here that when we are talking about journalistic integrity, responsibility, accountability,
