The Republican party has been operating within a framework of criminality for decades, the conviction of Donald Trump has only solidified it. Republicans are not exhausted, but Democrats are lacking the urgency to fight back.

Speaker 1 (00:11):
Good morning, peep Sen. Welcome to wok F Daily with
Meet your Girl. Daniel Moody recording from the home Bunker.
I want to start off with just a mention of
the fact that Hunter Biden was found guilty on federal
gun charges. I don't give a fuck. And let me
explain why I don't give a fuck. Hunter Biden is

(00:33):
a private citizen. Hunter Biden is not running for president.
Hunter Biden is not running for dogcatcher. Hunter Biden is
not running for a fucking thing. So whether or not
he is convicted of a felony, I could give a
fuck right now. Of course, right wing media will run

(00:53):
with this. They will make up stories, They will make
up a narrative because if he wasn't found guilty, then
it would have been a he's in coco hoots with
the president and the president put his thumbs on the scale.
And now that he's been found guilty, the President has
conjured this up like blah blah, who cares? You know,
who cares? Because they love convicts the Republican Party like

(01:14):
they love, you know, felons. You have Marjory Taylor Green
and others equating Donald Trump's conviction of thirty four felon
accounts to Jesus, like, what are you doing with the
equating here? All I know is that you are pretty
much just having people run from organized religion because you
use it to justify any fucking thing. Right, There is

(01:36):
no justification for Donald Trump's lies and fraud and theft
and greed and racism and misogyny and all of these things.
But they will knock themselves over, twist themselves into notts,
contort every bit of law in order to make their
messiah seem like he is above the law, which he
is not. And so the false equivalency that is going

(01:59):
to be made between h Biden and Donald Trump. Here's
the thing. If Donald Trump actually had wanted to stay
out of jail, do you know what he could have done?
Not run? Because I guarantee you that the sloth like
Department of Justice and these other cases probably would not
have materialized if, in fact, his candidacy did not pose

(02:21):
a clear and present fucking threat to this country two,
our democracy, to marginalized people, to everyone that is not rich, white,
CIS and straight right. And so if Donald Trump had
just gone about his business, going back to doing what
he does, which is create businesses and grift and do

(02:42):
series of frauds and real estate and X, Y and z.
I guarantee you that he would have been free as
a bird. But what I believe, right is that Donald Trump,
in order to certify his freedom, was like, I'm going
to announce early that I'm running for the presidency, and
then if they come at me, I'll just say it's
a witch hunt. Knowing good goddamn well that if he

(03:03):
had just gone back to being a private citizen, a
private fucking douche, then like no one would have cared.
But he didn't, right, And that's why we find ourselves
where we are. You know, there is a clip that
is going around this week of Donald Trump at a
rally going on an unhinged, frigginda tribe about sharks, about electrocution,

(03:26):
about god knows what, because no one could make head
nor tails of what he was saying. But what I
found so disconcerting was the media trying to make sense
of nonsense for the American people, headlines of like Donald
Trump was trying to articulate in said speech about his platform,

(03:51):
his policy platform. No, he wasn't, like, you don't seem
non biased if in fact, you just don't call what
you're seeing as what you're seeing. Donald Trump goes on
rambling incoherent speech in one hundred and twenty something degree temperatures.

(04:16):
No one could make sense of anything that he was
talking about and it wasn't linked to anything. Is that
biased or is that me just telling the people what
I heard and what I saw right Like in this
idea that somehow mainstream media is just going to leave
it up to the people to decipher, or you're going

(04:36):
to try and again make sense of nonsense to try
and seem unbiased, give me a fucking break, Like I'm
exhausted with the bullshit that comes out of media around
Donald Trump, Like I wish that they would call and
talk about his speeches the same way that sports journalists
call sports. If somebody fumbles a ball, you don't say, well,

(05:00):
I think that they meant to hold it on to
it really tight, but somehow it was knocked out of
their hands and then no so and so fumbled, You
drop the fucking ball. I'm calling it like I see it.
That's what needs to happen in today's politics, right in
today's faux fucking journalism. It's just tell me what you

(05:21):
saw and what you heard. You're not telling me who
to vote for, but you're certainly telling me that there
seems to be something off with the person who's running
for the presidency. Now, a lot of folks, and I've
had people come on this show and say that, you know,
these are sure signs of dementia. All of that is speculation.

(05:44):
Why because unless Donald Trump is actually your patient, I
really don't want to hear you pontificate on potential diagnoses
for Donald Trump or Joe Biden for that matter. You're
not their doctor. But what we can say is that, wow,
he seems incoherent. He seems unhinged. He's not making any sense.

(06:07):
When he goes off the teleprompter, he looks like he's
losing his mind. Those are just facts, because I don't
know what a shark and electrocution and sharks having discernment
have anything to do with the next couple of months.
And the potential that this man could once again have
his finger on a nuclear button doesn't make sense to me.

(06:32):
Martha Alito, she's back in the fucking news again because
this Oh god, I have no words. I have no
words for this woman that won't like land me on
somebody's FCC list. I don't know, idiot lunatic. On the
Mary Trump Show, nerd Avengers, our producer there called her

(06:55):
Betsy Ross, but make it Nazi right like with her
flat Apparently she was caught on a recording on audio
saying that the reason for her obsession with the flags
is because she's gonna have to, you know, in the
month of June stare at a rainbow flag, and so
she's gonna put up another flag, and she'll just keep

(07:18):
making flags. You know that. Read shame and read this,
and you know, and how disgusting and devastating. You know
that God created rainbows, right if in fact you were
a person of religion, I mean, we know the science
behind how rainbows are created. But if you were a
God fearing person as she somehow says that she is,

(07:40):
you can't look at a rainbow. It's so upsetting to you,
all the colors or just what it stands for, right,
what it stands for is equity for all people. You
hate the month of June because in your mind, LGBTQ
people should just live their lives ashamed. Rite in in

(08:01):
a closet, not to be seen or heard from. Well
to fucking bad Martha, like you're disgusted with the rainbow
flag you're discussed with Pride Honestly just makes me want
to double and triple down on my queerness. I'm like,
should I just you know, run into the store and

(08:21):
get whatever flag outfits I can wear and just jog
up and down in front of their homes? Should we
host a parade? Right? Like? Should we get approval from
their town and host like a Pride parade in front
of their home in New Jersey or wherever else they
own homes? Like I'm about that life, you know, if
something is going to upset you so much as a flag,

(08:44):
not starving children, right like, not abuse, not anything like that,
Just a flag that's gonna send you over the edge.
You over privileged, like fucking bitch. And yes, I'm gonna
say that I'm a feminist. I don't care. That's what
she is, so I'm gonna call it like it is.
I'm not going to use euphemisms. She's disgusting And if

(09:06):
you've heard her on audio, like my god, wow, and
apparently getting recorded just runs in the family, because once
again Justice Alito found on tape to be talking about
returning America to a place of godliness and this somehow
being the role of the court, Like I have said

(09:28):
on multiple shows, now like he clearly missed the building
that was supposed to be for seminary and decided like
that he'll just land on the law. Folks, America is
not a godly place. It was founded by a bunch
of religious zealots, absolutely and founded on the backs of
indigenous people that were already here. They fled, right, the

(09:52):
purer tins, these like Christian zelots, fled because they were
not accepting of other people's religion. Right. I wish they
would have ended up on a fucking island someplace, or
like in the Bermuda Triangle, never to be heard from again.
Imagine where we would be in history if that had
been the case. I just get so aggravated and exhausted

(10:15):
by like all of the bullshit, right, Like it's just
sometimes it's just too much justice. Alito shouldn't be allowed
on the bench. This man is not looking at the
rule of law, He is not looking at precedent except
to destroy precedent right and to fly by the seat
of his pants. Like I just I want him gone.

(10:39):
And there are rumors that him and Thomas want to
retire right because they have. I'm certain there's some like
Swiss Bank account just waiting for them to scoop up
their tens of millions of dollars that they didn't declare.
But they're only going to do so under a Republican
and I don't want to give them that option. But
you know, fifty to fifty that a thirty four time

(11:02):
Felon becomes President of the United States for the very
last time. I have no idea. Some days, folks, some
days it is too much. There is a little bit
of good news, which is that a federal court, and

(11:24):
this is according to HRC's press release, federal court blocks
first state law restricting healthcare for transgender adults. State of
Florida loses federal challenge as court blocks laws targeting adults
and adolescents. We never, very rarely ever hear good news
coming out of Florida, so I do want to make

(11:45):
sure to cover this. This is a ruling in dough
the Latipo permanently blocks adult and minor health care restrictions
in Florida SB two fifty four and finds that Florida
unlawful targeted transgender people. In challenge brought by Single A
Glad and NCLR, the Human Rights Campaign and Southern Legal

(12:10):
Counsel and Lowestenes Sandler, the Federal District Court has permanently
blocked Florida from enforcing a law that bans medical care
for transgender adolescens and restricts it for transgender adults. The
ruling in this case were motivated by disapproval of transgender
people and violate the equal protection rights of transgender individuals

(12:33):
and parents of transgender miners in Florida. Florida was the
first state to pass a law restricting access to health
care for transgender adults. Today's ruling permanently blocks those restrictions
as well as a ban on care for adolescens. This
is a major victory for trans people in Florida, but

(12:56):
also across the country. Now we know that this will
likely be appealed, and most likely appealed to the sixty
to three Supreme Court, who doesn't really give a fuck
about precedent or give a fuck about lower court's decisions.
What they care about is retribution, pain, and inequity. So

(13:16):
if it is appealed to the Supreme Court and the
Roberts Court that will go down as the most offensive,
most egregious, most anti American court in American history, which
is saying a lot. If they decide to hear it,
it will most likely be overturned and giving you carte
blanche to a bunch of copycat red states to do

(13:37):
the very same, which is to deny people access to
healthcare because you don't like who they are as people.
You open that door up to trans people, and then
you can decide that you don't want to provide health
care to black people because you don't like black people.
You cannot provide healthcare to certain groups of women because

(13:58):
you don't like Asian women or Latina women. When does
it end? When and where does it end? And this
is the thing that I do want to drive home
is that it doesn't It doesn't ever end. Republicans are
unrelenting in their crusade against progress, against equity, against justice.

(14:20):
They are never going to give up. And so when
folks tell me that they're tired of hearing that every
election is consequential in the most critical election of your time,
just look at the fact that Republicans are not exhausted.
They are full steam ahead to overturn every bit of
progress that was made in this country in the twentieth

(14:42):
century and bring us into the fucking dark ages. Right, So,
while the rest of us saying, oh my god, I'm
so tired and I have so much anxiety, blah blah,
these motherfuckers are well rested and ready to go round ten,
round twelve, round fifty four. And so I need a
to have the same stamina that these people have and

(15:05):
be proactive in what it is that we are doing
instead of just reacting to their bullshit. So in one
move that is taking place right now, which is that
Senator Schumer, my senator here in New York who's been
my senator my entire fucking life. So that just says

(15:25):
a lot, has decided to bring legislation to the floor
on IVF right to make Republicans go on record with
their fight to disallow IVF from happening in this country.
We know that it's began in Alabama and it's spreading
in other places. And this is yet another thing that

(15:47):
the Republican Party is taking up that is woefully unpopular.
So Schumer is going to force this vote. We know
it's going to fail in the same way that the
contraception vote to protect contraception fail because no Republicans are
going to vote for that right. And my whole thing is, like,

(16:07):
I get it, you want to get these motherfuckers on record,
But more important, I would love for the Senate Democrats
to be utilizing the committee hearings in the same way
that House Republicans have utilized them for their bullshit, like
to do absolutely nothing, just waste money and waste time. Democrats, however,
in the Senate, can be calling multiple hearings on the

(16:29):
Supreme Court on ethics, on violations, on the ways to
expand the Court, on Court oversight, on all of these
issues that matter to the American people. You want to
get press, you want to show the Republicans for who
they are, then utilize the hearings and utilize fucking social
media as a way to get that message out right, Like,

(16:53):
because just doing these votes is just assuming that everybody
and their mother has the time to listen to c SPAN.
They don't, So it's your job to package this in
a way that people are going to get and I
just don't see that happening. So I believe that Democrats

(17:13):
need to be activated on all fronts. And I just
like I don't see the energy. I don't see the
urgency in the way that Donald Trump Project twenty twenty five,
the entirety of the Republican cult are an existential threat
to our way of life, to our values, right to

(17:36):
our Constitution. If I was running in this campaign, let
me tell you something, it would be full steam ahead,
alarms blaring on all cylinders, and I'm bringing out every
single fucking surrogate. I'm talking about everybody that is, anybody
that cares about this country, whether it's climate change, education,

(17:57):
gun reform, voting rights, abortion, LGBTQ rights, like any issue,
and I'm bringing them out. And we are doing town halls,
and we're doing Twitter ads, and we're doing you know,
TikTok ads, and we're doing videos, and we're hammering it
into the American people that Donald Trump and the Republican
Party are not only unfit, they are fucking dangerous. Where

(18:21):
is that messaging? I have no idea, but I do
know that we need to take this win and we
need to elevate it and expand it because I think
that Democrats constituency base are like tired of fucking losing
and being hammered. But like I'm saying, Republicans are not
showing that they are going to ease up anytime soon.

(18:44):
If Alito's wife, Martha and Samuel Alito have their way,
it will be the handsmade tale on fucking steroids in
this country to return it to a place of quote
unquote godliness right, which means that everyone one that doesn't
subscribe to the same religion and the same warped white
supremaist Christian values, what happens to the rest of us.

(19:09):
Those are the questions that I need Democrats to be posing.
Those are the committee hearings that I need Democrats to
be having in the Senate, And like all headlines be
on what the Republican Party is willing to do to
America in order to usher in their king. Folks, we
are running short on time, with only you know, five

(19:33):
months and counting to go until the election, and I
gotta tell you, I don't feel great. Do you know
what I'm saying. I feel a little sick. That is
it for me today, Dear friends on f as always,

(19:53):
power to the people and to all the people. Power,
get woke and stay woke as fuck.
