Speaker 1 (00:11):
Good morning, peeps, and welcome to ok F Daily with
me your girl Daniel Moody recording from the Home Bunker, Folks,
I want to start off with some news, which is
that Steve Bannon is going to be reporting to prison soon.
And Steve Bannon is just falls in line with a
(00:35):
list of people who have worked for Donald Trump in
some capacity that are going to jail. And I cannot
help but think about when Donald Trump said he only
surrounds himself with the best people. And let me tell
you something. If you look to your left and your right,
your front in your back, and you have several friends
(00:57):
that are in prison, go to prison. I'm going to
tell you you may want to check your circle, right like,
you may want to reflect on that. And you know,
somehow here though, the Party of Law and Order has
a convicted felon as their candidate for president. They believe
(01:19):
that he is the second coming of Christ. They compare
his conviction to that of Jesus. Shout out to fucking
the lunatic neanderthal, you know, Marjory Taylor Green. But it's
just like this shouldn't be normal. It shouldn't be a shrug,
It should be constant news, But like Donald Trump and
(01:43):
his lackeys defy the media landscape. And at this point,
I don't even know if they actually defy the media
landscape or if what I actually believe to be true
everyone is just in cahoots with one another. And let
me tell you why I think that these days. I
am not one for conspiracy theories, but I am one
(02:06):
for consistency and patterns. Walk with me, take this journey
with me for a moment. When Michael Colin took the
stand in the election interference case aka the hush money case,
when Michael Colin took the stand multiple times. In one
of those occasions, he was asked a question about how
(02:27):
he funneled news for Donald Trump, and he said that
there were, you know, several people anchors that he would
go to on different networks to get softer stories on
Donald Trump. Right, one of those people being Katie Turr
on MSNBC. Now. For a while, I couldn't put my
(02:51):
finger on it, but there was always something about Katie
Turr that rubbed me the wrong way. Right. I would
watch her reporting, I would hate it. I would hate
the smugness. I would hate that everything is like a
fucking joke. Everything is like a haha has and that
you know what, like just laughing at things that are
not funny or appropriate. Right, So when Michael Collin comes
(03:14):
out with this, it makes news for what a day,
maybe Max And it was mostly on social media because
MSNBC is not going to pick up on that story, right,
none of her colleagues are going to post about the
fact that she is a shill for Donald Trump. CNN
was called out, you know, other networks were called out
(03:35):
for their softball bullshit. But it's not as if we
needed Michael Collin to tell us. We've been watching the
news for the last eight years, right, and we can
tell we can see that if as Karine Jean Pierre
just like essentially told off a reporter in the press room.
I think it was either yesterday or this morning as
(03:56):
I'm recording this, when they were asked about the video
of Joe Biden seemingly freezing right at the Juneteenth celebration
at the White House, and Karine Jean Pierre at the
podium was just like, so, I didn't realize that Jeff
listening to music, looking at fireworks and like not dancing
(04:19):
was like a mental health issue. I didn't realize that
that was like cause for concern that we need to address.
Like she was so flippant in her response, and I say, bravo.
While the media wants to pull out these single siloed
instances and try and string together a narrative that Biden
(04:41):
has low cognition, they have all the information in the
world that Donald Trump is a criminal and surrounds himself
with criminals and has been running a criminal enterprise since
before he entered the White House. He just upped the
ante when he entered into the White House because he
had access to more information, more things that were worth
(05:02):
a lot more money than just licensing his name around
in Asia, for instance, right on buildings and shit. So
I look at this and I see again, Steve Bannon
is going to jail. On any other planet. Prior to
eight years ago, this would have been the biggest news story.
(05:24):
A senior advisor to the President of the United States
is going to be reporting to federal prison right and
just mind you that he's going to prison on the
charge of being held in contempt of Congress in the
January sixth subpoena issue because he didn't show up right.
He was subpoenaed by Congress and he didn't show up
(05:47):
and so federal prison. But mind you, he received a
pardon from Donald Trump on the other criminal shit that
he did while Donald Trump was in the White House.
So again, if Steve Bannon hadn't received a pardon, Steve
Bannon would still be in jail. Right now, Steve Bannon
(06:10):
is reporting to jail on another offense, because that's basically
the thing that he was able to be caught on.
Right Rudy Giuliani facing rico charges in Georgia, election interference
charges in Arizona with another slate of fake electors, and
(06:31):
then like bankruptcy, Alan Weiselberg COO already served time at
Rikers has lied in order to cover up Donald Trump
continues to go back and forth to jail because apparently
that is better than telling the truth about his criminal
(06:52):
ass boss and their criminal ass enterprise. I mean, everywhere
you look, Donald Trump and his lackeys have served prison time.
You would think that is enough to have NonStop headlines
expose as in depth panel discussions on our decaying morality
(07:17):
in this country as it pertains to the rule of law,
what we look like on the world stage, Having somebody
in this country that is not allowed to vote for
themselves right as a convicted felon, but can become presidents
of the United States. Like, if you don't know that
these laws are made for white men, now you understand
(07:38):
very clearly how they're made for white men. Because only
a rich, white, powerful man can be found guilty of
thirty four felony counts and still have the audacity to
run for president and still be in good standing in
the polls. Barack Obama war tan suit and wanted to
give white people health care, and they called him satan.
(08:01):
You can't make this shit up. And so I find
myself with just, you know, several months to go into
the election, and I can't honestly tell you how I'm
feeling a lot of times. And I know people like
probably don't believe me when I say this, but like,
when I'm off for the weekends, I do not watch
(08:23):
the news. If I happen to be on the news,
that's one thing, but I actually do not watch the news.
I do not follow the news because I care more
about my mental health these days and having a little
bit of time to recharge than I do keeping up
with the latest bullshit that the media is covering. I
(08:43):
believe that the media is as in it for Donald
Trump to win as the Supreme Court is right. I
think that the media, corporate media that is run by
rich white men who want their tax breaks and want
their fifth and six homes, who want to pay their
(09:05):
staff little to know money and not be blamed for that,
who want zero regulation like, they're in it for Donald Trump.
They're not in it for like educating the public. They're
not in it to be what we fondly decades ago
used to refer to as the fourth estate right, the
(09:27):
most important to inform the public and the citizen tury
about their choices, their rights, their country right. No, they're not.
They're in it for clickbait. They're in it for ratings,
they're in it for ad sales, and they're in it
for themselves. It's so fascinating because I was talking about
(09:50):
this on my other show, The New Abnormal, and I
had mentioned it briefly, but I had posted something in
my stories which came from the World Economic Forums Instagram page,
and it was this story about how in Finland they
are teaching children beginning in pre k to be alert
(10:14):
to disinformation they're training young people because they know disinformation
is not going to go away. They know that the
media is going to continue to weaponize in many ways
information and lies, right, whether it be consumer information and
like in terms of junk fees and late fees and
(10:37):
lies in terms of the things that they do there,
or whether it be about candidates, about society, about basic
facts like climate change, things like that. So in order
to combat that, what are they doing. They're rolling out
an entire education curriculum to arm young people with the
information that they need so that they can constantly stay aged.
(11:01):
I thought to myself, Wow, Wow, how amazing to see
a problem and to think to yourself, we have to
stop that problem, not just complain about the problem, not
just point fingers about the problem, but actually see a
problem and do something about it. I'm in awe of
(11:23):
countries that do that, because we do not live in
a country that does that. We live in a country
that talks about, for political points, the same issues that
they've been talking about for eons. Right, if you've been
in Congress, let's say for thirty years, you've been talking
(11:44):
about our broken immigration system. You've been talking about the
need for a robust gun reform. You've been talking about
the same shit. You don't actually do anything about it,
but we continue to talk about it. And then I
look at other countries. Just another report recently, this time
out of Paris. City of Paris has committed to planting
(12:09):
so many trees, taking fifty thousand cars off of the road,
closing down what was formerly streets for cars and making
them pedestrian only. And guess what has happened since they
started this plan. Pollution in Paris has gone down by
forty percent by just making some minor changes. Here in
(12:36):
New York City, where I am oh our Mayor Eric Adams,
who is a fucking idiot and has shut down libraries
all in the way to give more and more money
to police that I walk past as they stand in
their packs smoking cigarettes literally in front of my gym,
doing not a fucking thing, but knowing that my park
(12:57):
isn't being cleaned. But so long as they're being paid
six figures, right, and their budgets are in the eight
nine figures right, it's fucking disgusting. But lo and behold
shutting down streets and making them pedestrian and limiting the
amount of cars that come in Oh no, Mayor Adams
(13:22):
has decided that we need to reinstall parking and get
rid of all of the street cafes that have been
making New York City lovely since the pandemic. Our fucking
governor instead of moving with the congestion pricing that nobody
really wanted, but understood that the benefits of fifteen billion
(13:44):
dollars was going to go to fix our very broken, crumbling,
dangerous subway system that was built in the twentieth century
at the beginning of it, not at the end, but
has pulled that deal and said, oh, well, what we're
lacking here is imagination. What you're lacking is a fucking
backup plan. It's not like you pulled the rug out
(14:06):
from under people, uh the MTA and constituents and said,
instead of doing X, we're gonna do Why you just
said we're not gonna do X. That's what we see
all around the country here. It's nonsensical, Like, it's so stupid,
it's laughable to continue to say that America is the
(14:27):
best at anything except for lying and pr Right, we
don't provide healthcare again. Tell you another story. Went to
a friend's engagement party, right, wonderful best time, you know,
meeting lovely people. And the fiance says, you know, I'm
(14:48):
just I'm so excited, like looking forward to, you know,
being married, and I'm just so grateful because I can
finally put my fiance on my health insurance. That shouldn't
be a yippie but it was because we live in
a country where we have more than enough money to
(15:10):
actually have government funded health insurance that you are not
coming out of pocket for. I am self employed, so
I pay for my own health insurance, which is shitty
and incredibly expensive, and I have to pay out of
pocket up to like four thousand dollars before my health
insurance that I pay monthly into actually kicks in for coverage.
(15:33):
You go to other countries, industrialized countries with the same
GDP as we have or lower, and their citizens have
no idea what you're talking about. They look at you
like you're fucking dumb, Like why would you live in
this place? Right? Like you get sick and you mean
(15:55):
like you go bankrupt or you're paying all of this
money every month but out of your pocket, but like
you actually don't have proper health insurance. Yeah, that's America, right,
We've just like acquiesced to the lack. And that's what
(16:16):
I realize, is that we've become so comfortable with like
the lack that we get from our government. Just this
week or late last week, Supreme Court, Ah, we're back
to bump stocks so that you can kill as many
people as you would like in one minute, right without
(16:38):
having to worry about reloading. Who needs to worry about
that pesky thing anyway, when you can mow down one
hundred people in sixty seconds or less, Because according to
Clarence Thomas, there's no real difference with having bump stocks
or not. Tell that to the families of those that
were mowed down at the Las Vegas concert. New Zealand
(17:01):
they had one mass shooting within ar fifteen and they
ban them in the country. I bring up all of
these stories, and I bring up all of these things
because I realize that like America is pretty shitty when
you think about it. You know, I honestly, I know
(17:22):
that there are countries that are obviously worse. But when
you say that you are the best, and you are
compared to the best, and yet your democracy that is
not inclusive of everybody. Women do not have equal pay
and never will because there's no political will in order
to make that happen. We don't have government funded healthcare,
(17:45):
we don't have abortion rights or affirmative action anymore. So
I'm not quite sure why people come here, to be honest,
and I think that what we will see over the
next twenty and thirty years is a brain drain in America.
Where it used to be that folks would send their
(18:08):
best and their brightest to attend our higher education institutions,
and then those people would end up staying and building
a life and contributing in all of these wonderful things.
Well that's not going to happen because depending on what
state you go to, the education that you're going to
be receiving at said institution is going to be watered
(18:30):
down and sanitized, not making you at all sharp and competitive. Globally,
America is becoming increasingly dangerous. In the next couple of
sessions of the Supreme Court, they will absolutely roll back
more EPA protections. Right, so the air is going to
be dirtier, the water is going to be dirtier. The
(18:51):
potential of a gun death is higher, right or death
via pregnancy if you live in a red state, and
if Donald Trump becomes present, and then again then all
bets are actually off. So over the next two to
three decades, you will see less and less people coming
to the United States and more and more Americans seeking
(19:13):
to go abroad in the ways that like we have
never seen before, where I believe that other countries are
going to start courting America is best and brightest and
saying your country's fucking unsafe. Come live here, right, Come
to our higher institutions of learning, Come be employed in
(19:33):
this place. Right, your hard workers, this, that, and the
other thing. But just leave your guns at home, but
we'll give you health insurance. This country is going to
look very, very very different over the next ten, twenty, thirty,
forty years, and it's going to be something wild to see.
(19:55):
And so I don't know, I don't know. I know
that that the media should be paying attention and sounding alarms,
but that's not the case. So you're the ones that
you're waiting for. Share information, post share these episodes of
woke AF. I appreciate people who tweet out the episodes
(20:18):
every week, who tell people you should be listening, like
this is how things build and grow. It's organically, because
if we're relying on corporate media to be our saviors.
Then we're going to be waiting a really long time. Remember, friends,
