Join Jen and Sheldon every second Wednesday as they chat with the individuals who have found their calling in the support field. We explore stories of resiliency, compassion, trauma, and healing. Every person has a story to tell and every voice deserves to be heard. Mental health stigma, systemic racism, lack of resources, and marginalization are some of the challenges vulnerable people face every day. Directly Speaking offers a supportive, safe space to discuss these issues and more. Through open conversation about what it means to be an advocate and an ally, we hope to inspire, inform, educate, and learn along with our community.
