ב-30 בינואר 1933 מונה אדולף היטלר לקנצלר גרמניה. בתוך זמן קצר הוא ביסס את שליטתו והפך את המפלגה הנאציונל-סוציאליסטית למפלגה היחידה. בזאת הקיץ הקץ על העידן הקצר, בן 15 השנים בלבד, של רפובליקת ויימאר והחלה תקופתו של הרייך השלישי. בימים אלה אנו מציינים 90 שנים להתרחשויות הללו, לעלייתם של הנאצים לשלטון. לא מדובר ברגע בודד, נקודת ציון יחידה בזמן, כי אם על תהליך מתמשך של קריסה פוליטית, חברתית, כלכלית, וכמובן - מוסרית.
