Speaker 1 (00:00):
All right, guys, here we are, last break of the day.
It's been a good day. We've had fun today.

Speaker 2 (00:04):
On all right, Steve, let me give you some closing remarks.
This is what I think I touched on this the
other day, but I want to elaborate on it a
little bit more. You know, there are a lot of
components to becoming successful, a lot of things that you
need to do. But there are some very very important

(00:26):
elements that are controlled by you that you, as the
person who's seeking happiness or success, can immediately start making
applicable in your life. I don't have them in any
particular order, but let me just give you just a few.
You have to have a dream or vision. That's imperative.

(00:51):
That's the absolute one critical piece to making your dreams
come true is you must first have them. Hard to
make a dream come true, you don't have a dream.
The Bible says a man without a dream or visions
you'll perish. So the most important thing is to put
the element of hope out there in front of you

(01:12):
that there is a possibility that this dream could come true.
So you have to have dreams and visions. Secondly, and
like I said in No particular order. You got to
have faith. You have got to create faith on two levels.
Faith in God and faith is the belief in things

(01:34):
that you cannot see. And to have that life, you
got to continue believing in something that a lot of
times you ain't gonna be able to see. And ain't
that the way God is? You believe in a God
that you cannot see, but the evidence of him being
there is constant. All you got to do is look around.

(01:56):
Then you need work ethic. You've got to be a
hard worker. You cannot be lazy, and you've got to
practice working hard in every aspect of your life, because
I'm telling you, man, if you're a lazy person in
a certain aspect of your life, it has a tendency

(02:16):
to bleed over into everything else. Because if you ain't
got no problem twiddling your thumbs, that's gonna be a
time when it's required for you to do something that
you're gonna stop and do just that twiddle your thumbs.
You have got to rid yourself for procrastination. Procrastination kills

(02:37):
people putting it off, waiting on everything to be lined up.
I'm gonna do this, you know. Once I get this
lined up I'm gonna do it then, or as soon
as I get confirmation about this, I'm gonna do it. Then.
I'm gonna research this a little bit more. Stop procrastinate,
do it now. Stop. Do everything you can do today
that's possible to be done, because I'm telling you something.

(02:59):
When you wake up tomorrow, it's going to be a
new list in front of you, because very rarely do
you get to complete all your task of the day before.
I usually run out a day before it's all done,
and something remains pending the next day. Now, I've given
you some things, and I've probably left a few things off.

(03:23):
But now let me give you the one that people
don't understand the real importance of this one. But this
one is probably more critical because even even if you
do the things I told you to do, if you're
missing this element I'm about to give you, you will fail.

(03:43):
The element is disciplined. You have got to be disciplined,
because I'm telling you man. Sometimes the dream and the
vision gets a little blurry because you've had to wait
longer than you want it to wait. It seems delayed.

(04:04):
Sometimes your faith it gets it wavers a little bit.
You just I don't see it, man, it just don't
look like it's coming. Sometimes your work ethic, you just
get tired, and sometimes you just need a break. Sometimes
you just gotta stop. You can't beat a dead horse.

(04:24):
You gotta just sometimes you gotta stop. So so all
of that can falter. But the one thing discipline can
never falter. You just can't. Man. Discipline is doing the
things you have to do even when you don't want to.
That's all discipline is. And you've got to do it

(04:48):
over and over and over. And let me give you
the best recipe I've ever come up with about discipline.
It may work for you, you may need another way. But
I wake up every day and I kid you not,
and you know what I say out loud, I'm a
disciplined person. I am a disciplined person. Because you know,

(05:09):
it's a true statement that a man is as he
thinketh that you can manifest yourself into the life of
your dreams, but you got to speak it into existence.
I am a disciplined person. So therefore, guess what I am.
A disciplined person. Now, all of these principles I've given

(05:30):
you are something that all of you can do yourself.
It's up to you to develop the mindset. It's not
look man, none of this stuff I told you faith, work,
ethic visions, dreams, hopes. None of this requires anything from
anybody else except you. You have to make up in

(05:54):
your mind that this is the person you are starting today.
And if if you ask God's help in becoming this
person that you just stated today, He'll help you. And
once you get God's help, you don't need nobody else.
Those are my clothing remarks that will serve you well today.

(06:16):
Y'all be a disciplined person. Get on the path. Stop procrastinating.
