Our nanny takes care of everyone. Okay. Just Stephen Shirley.

(03:12):
I'm a thirty three year old married woman and my
husband and I had our first child six months ago.
My husband is a musician and he's back to traveling
a lot, so he suggested that we hire a nanny.
I welcome the help, and when my son was two
weeks old, we hired a twenty six year old girl
that had just moved to the US from Belize. She

(03:33):
is beautiful inside and out and she has a big family,
so she's been helping raising children since she was twelve
years old. She came to the house daily from seven
am until four pm, and she taught me a lot
about parenting. When I returned to work, I asked her
to move in and she agreed. She cooked, cleaned, ran

(03:55):
errands for us, and our son loved her as time
went on. I loved coming home having her there so
I could vent about my day. She would rub my feet,
or massage my shoulders, or gently rub my scalp if
I had had a rough day. And I got caught
up one day and gave her a prolonged hug and

(04:15):
she kissed me. That's how it started, and you can
guess how it ended. It's been going on for weeks
and my husband is home. I'm sure he can sense
how touchy feely we are, but he's never said anything
dot dot dot, And now I know why. I walked

(04:36):
into our dent a few days ago and the nanny
was sitting on my husband's lap, straddling him, and his
mouth was all over her chest. I stood and watched
them because it turned me on. He eventually saw me
there and he motioned for me to join them. There
was a whole lot of kissing and caressing, but that's it.

(04:58):
My husband and I haven't mentioned that day. I'm sure
he's going to go all the way with her if
he hasn't already. Should I bring it up to my husband?
And what about her? Should we keep her? But set
some house rules. You're flocking back. You're working backwards, aren't you, wifey.

(05:19):
You're working backwards right now. It's a little late to
be setting boundaries and stuff right now. Obviously you are
smitten with this young woman, and so is your husband.
And rule number one, when you need a nanny and
that sort of thing, it's never to bring that kind
of temptation into your house. It's just never a good thing.
It doesn't end well. You've seen the movies and all

(05:42):
of that. She's beautiful inside and out and is quite
efficient in her job. You were able to relax and
get rid of some of the stress from all you
have been through after having a baby and getting back
to work. And although we all should exercise self control
in these type situations, we're human. We can caught up
like you guys did. The nanny getting with your husband

(06:03):
even turned you on. You said so much so that
you joined in. And I know you and your husband
haven't spoken since, but you're gonna have to settle this.
You gotta speak. I think the thing that scares you
the most is that you don't trust your husband is
gonna stop with her. You didn't even know they we're
doing it. That was a surprise to you, and there's
no guarantee that that won't happen again. So based on

(06:25):
all of that, I think it's best that the beautiful
nanny goes, so you guys can get your marriage back
on track and the next time, if there is a
next time, get a misdoubt fire type okay type, so
you and your husband will not be tempted to have
sex with her. Steve. Yeah, but we'll come back. Our
nanny takes care of Everyone is the title of today's

(06:48):
strawberry letter. We'll be back at twenty three minutes after
with Steve's response. Right after this, you're listening to the
Steve Harvey Morning Show. All right, come on, Steve, let's
recap today's strawberry letter, thus subject our nanny takes care
of Everyone. Well, I didn't get a chance to response earlier,
so I don't have to do a recap. I'm gonna

(07:08):
read the letting tell you my thoughts as I go
read it. Let's go. This is me reading the letter
having never heard it. Here my thoughts as we go.
Stephen Sherl. I'm a thirty three year old man woman.
My husband, I had a first child six months ago.
My husband is a musician. He's back to traveling a lot,
so he suggested we hired nanny. I welcome to help,

(07:28):
And when my son was two weeks old, we hired
a twenty six year old girl had It just moved
to the US from Belize. She's beautiful inside and out.
She has a big family, so she's been helping raise
children since she was twelve years old. Okay, she's twenty six,
beautiful inside and out. Bad idea, you ain't, but thirty three,

(07:53):
You ain't, but thirty three. You didn't hide a fine
chick to work in your house and she twenty bad idea.
When I returned, she came to the house daily from
seven to fourth and she taught me a lot about Penndy.
When I returned to work, I asked her to move
in and she agreed. Another bad idea. You didn't ask

(08:18):
the bad chick to move into your house. She cook
clean rains and her son, the son, loved the time
went on. I loved coming home having her there, so
I convent about my day. Oh you got somebody talk?
Oh that's She would rub my feet or massage from
my shoulders, gently rubbed my scalp if I had a

(08:42):
rough day, all right, Now, I got caught up one
day and gave her a prolonged hugging. Here she kissed
me dead in my mouth and my mouth was open,
so I kiss talk back and we just had just

(09:04):
tongues all over the place. That's how I started. And
you can guess how it is now. I can't guess,
but go ahead. You could have told. And I've been
going on for really Yeah, it's been going on for weeks.
And with my husband home, I'm sure he can see
how touchy feel it we are. Oh, I know he

(09:27):
can't see your husband ain't stupid. But I got news
for her. You didn't have to know, because I bet
he told. I bet she told her him, because just
how I'm to tell you. But she's never but but
he's never said anything. Are you just buying this time?
And now I know why? I walked into her then
a few days ago, and the nanny was sitting on

(09:49):
my husband's lap strattling him, and his mouth was all
over her chest. Yeah one, yeah, all over her chest?
What you mean by that? Why she was tragging him?

(10:13):
I'm trying. I can't get that visual out of my
head right. Yeah, I stood and watched him because it
turned me on. I hit the part where it got crazy.
He eventually saw me there and he motioned for me
to join them. Well, that was a whole lot of

(10:35):
kissing and caressing, but that's it. There was a whole
lot of kissing and caressing, but that was it. My
husband and I haven't mentioned that day. Why hell, you
was both down. I don't I don't understand what you
got to bring it up for. He We ain't mentioned
that day because you was both down. See, but you're
stupid because he's waiting to see if you want to

(10:56):
bring it up to do it again. But just you
walk in on him with him, Stratton, and you think
that's it, girl, I'm sure he's going to go all
the way with her if he hasn't already. Should I
bring it up to my husband? Should you bring it up? Hell?
He already up up, you know, all the way up.

(11:25):
Should you bring it up? Hell, he already up? Wink wink?
And what about her? Should we keep her? You know,
you've got the kindest reply to walking in on a woman,
Stratton in your husband that I've ever seen. But since

(11:47):
it turned you on, let's just admit a couple of things.
Should we keep them? Well, it sounds like you want
to because you like the foot rubs, the massages, the
neck rubs, the scalps and the foot massage and the
kissing and y'all that went all the way, So you
don't want her to go. So now y'all have a
three ceme at y'all's house. Y'all have what's called an

(12:09):
open manage. She didn't know it. I don't really know
what you want us to do. You should we keep her? Yes? YEA,
sound like it's not about you. It seemed like everybody happy.

(12:30):
It seemed like everybody happened. Should keep she happy? He happy?
Did nanny happened, that baby happen. There's one big happy ass,
ragging ass family. Hell yeah, keeper the baby happy, the
damn baby happy. You said the baby love her, your
husband love her, and you love her, and she loved everybody.

(12:50):
You know. That's not sound good? You give sound kind
of done. Today's Strawberry Letter Instagram and check out the
Strawberry Letter podcast on demand coming up in forty six
minutes after the hour from the Talk, It's Our Girl,
