Speaker 1 (00:07):
The Season with Peter Schrager is a production of the
NFL in partnership with iHeartRadio. What's Up, Everybody, This is
Peter Schrager. This is the Season with Peter Schrager, and
(00:28):
this is the Wednesday after the Super Bowl. If my
voice doesn't seem as strong or as powerful as it
usually does, it's because I've been talking working, partying, networking, eating,
not sleeping, being in an airport, being in an airport,
(00:50):
being in an airport a lot over the last eight days.
I was mister airport on Monday, just when you thought
you were finally done, and you have that feeling after
like a long bachelor party, where you're like, I just
want to get home, or you have some regrettable time
in Vegas, like I just need to get home. I
need to get home, I need to ge, I need
to be in my bed, I need to be with
my family, and then the plane is delayed four hours.
(01:12):
It was only fitting after a New Orleans Super Bowl
where I was there for eight days, that we got
every last second of that New Orleans Airport experience. Super Bowl.
I don't know, you could turn a lot of places
for a recap of the game, but I wanted to
give you a different look at it as a recap
of the experience for someone who's on the inside, and
(01:33):
that person on the inside would be me in this case,
at a really cool week the assignments, whereas follows Monday Night.
I had to be in there on Sunday because I
was going to host the NFL and Fox's opening Media
Night broadcast, which is to me, an ultimate honor short
of calling the game, short of hosting NFL honors, short
(01:57):
of being the anchor of the studio pregame show like
a Kurt Menafee, This is a pretty cool deal super
Bowl Week. It's the first time the fans are and
the two teams together, and it's the only time those
two teams are together aside from when they face off
in the Super Bowl. It's always now on Monday Night,
and in this case, the NFL Network aired it and
(02:19):
FS one simulcasted it. Now at every podium is going
to be a star player, but that is like an
absolute free for all. Before the players get to the podium,
they announced both teams, and when they announced both teams,
there was a section where I got to interview one
of the star players as a one off. So I
(02:42):
did my Homes for the Chiefs and I did Saquon
for the Eagles. Both interviews were great, and then I
had a really cool opportunity to be backstage while the
five captains from both teams and the two coaches were
hanging out before being introduced. Interesting to note, not a
lot of co mingling although we were all in the
(03:02):
same area backstage. Not a lot of small talk, not
a lot of band There was a moment where Mahomes
and Hurt dapted each other up, and I believe Lane
Johnson came over and was talking to Travis Kelcey for
a bit. But there wasn't this like jovial hug or
this wasn't this, Hey, let's bust chops. We know each
other from recent Pro Bowls or whatever. No, it wasn't
that these teams were dialed in. And then I got
(03:25):
the opportunity on television but also on that stage to
interview Sirianni and read together. I asked Nick Sirianni, I said, hey, look, Bud,
not in those terms, but this team was two and
two went on the BI and there's a lot of
heat around this squad. You guys rattled off sixteen of
seventeen wins to get to this point. What changed, Sirianni said,
we looked in the mirror, we looked at ourselves. We
(03:47):
spent our bye week tightening things up, and we never
looked back. But the body language was one that was
either a you could view as all business and a
guy who was so locked in for his game plan
that he was ready to play tomorrow, or just tight
in that Sirianni was not looking to huh and crack
jokes and smile. Then I went to my guy with
(04:09):
the Pelican shirt on, and Andy is all smiles, he's
all warmth. And I think my question was what makes
this team different than the team that we saw last year?
And his whole bit was, it's different story for every team,
and we've got DeAndre, we've got Kareem Hunt, and we've
got new people in this building, and every team's different.
(04:30):
And yes, the weight of the three peat was real,
but Andy seemed locked and loaded and relaxed. Wednesday afternoon,
I had the amazing honor of being interviewed by a
bunch of outlets, and after the interviews, I was asked
to go attend Chiefs practice, something I've never done. Before
a Super Bowl week practice. I got to attend Chiefs practice.
(04:53):
I was a guest of Brett Veach in the Chief's
pr department, and it was myself, it was Julian Edelman,
it was Christina Pink, it was Kurt Menafeine, it was
Jimmy Johnson, all from the Fox side. I was at
Chiefs practice on Wednesday, And if you were to ask
me Wednesday, based on all the practices I've been to
with teams before games, and I've been to a lot
through being with Fox and being able to go to
production meetings, I would say the Chiefs were as dialed
(05:16):
in as I've seen a team before a game in
recent history. Like I, only the ball touched the ground.
Mahomes was completely locked in. He came over, said hello briefly.
Kelsey came over, said hello briefly. Andy Reid came over,
said hello briefly. But that was it for the frivulty
and for small talk. They ran with precision. Their defense
(05:38):
looked locked in. Like I'm telling you Wednesday, I'm leaving
that practice. I'm like, I don't know how this team loses.
They've won seventeen straight one score games. I don't know
how this team is gonna lose socially, we got it in.
Wednesday night was a big dinner with Fox. Got to
talk to Tom Brady for quite a bit, sat with Gronk
(05:58):
and his wonderful girlfriend, Camille Edelman, Burkhart, Carissa and Aaron
who are fantastic at what they do, and of course
a lot of different Fox colleagues who are from behind
the scenes. That was Wednesday night, and then I went
to the Volume party afterwards, which felt like a radio
(06:21):
and television convention after dinner drinks event. I got there,
the first person I see is Nick Wright. Talked to
Nick for a while. I didn't realize he was starting
a podcast up with Coward's Network on the Volume, but
the two of us have been, you know, chiefs guys
for the last several years, so it was fun to
actually hang with him in a social setting. Nick's a
(06:42):
cool dude. And then from there, Terrell Owens was in
the house, talk to Teo for a bit, Kyle Van
Noi was there, Gerald McCoy was there. Interesting scene, and
then of course Coward was there and I talked to
Colin for a little bit but not much. He was
like me in and out. Had to go in there
and make my presence felt as Colin has been very
(07:04):
good to me over the years and it was cool
to chat with him. But my takeaway going into like
Thursday was like, I think I'm leaning Chiefs. I think
I'm leading Chiefs. Thursday, of course, very busy day. We
have the Fox production meeting because in addition to my
job on Monday night with Fox Sunday, I had a
very busy afternoon ahead. I would be starting the Fox
(07:26):
NFL pregame show off. I'm the first face you see,
and I was doing so from the Eagles team hotel,
and my assignment was as follows, and this is my producer,
Bill Richards, my producer Jeremy Minnel. They said, there's gonna
be a lot of talk about this game. There's gonna
be a lot of reporting from the team hotels all
week long. I don't want that, but Richard said, I
(07:47):
want something fresh, something that no one else will have.
And you're the first person on our air schefter. Better
not have it in the morning rap report. Better not
have it in the morning. You're gonna be there at
one oh seven Eastern and you're gonna have to break
some news or give us something fresh. Well, you know,
I want to do something that was up to date,
story about you know, Cooper de Jean's path to the
(08:09):
NFL is not up to date. You could write that
on a Thursday or a Wednesday, a story about something
that you know. Lane Johnson told me at Friday's media availability,
it doesn't really have much effect on Sunday morning. So
my goal was I wanted to get what was inside
the room Saturday night when Nick Sirianni addressed his team
(08:31):
assigned to the Eagles. What can I give that's fresh
for that moment? So sure enough, I'm planting all sorts
of seeds. I'm working the phones. I know people in
the Ogles organization, and to their credit, a lot of
those guys, one of them who I told them afterwards,
like I really respected it, A good friend who we
have dealt with a lot over the years. I said,
do me one favorite here. It's Super Bowl Sunday, it's Fox,
(08:53):
it's a millions of people watching. Just let me know
what Sirianni's key points were in his speech to the team,
and his response to me was, Hey, team meetings are sacred, dude.
That's one line I will never cross and I'm like,
that's a good answer. I'm like, I can't be angry.
That's good. Of course, there were people in that room
(09:13):
who were more than willing to cross that line, and
they gave me the information. And what I got was
a voice note, not a text, a voice note from
a very trusted source who laid out minute by minute
how the team meeting went and what was cool was.
Throughout the year, Sirianni has relied on like movie clips.
He's shown clips from like, you know, I'm just giving
(09:33):
examples like you'd go to, like, you know, Chariots of
Fire or Gladiator. Here's the movie and here's the clip,
and Sirianni usually has some really cool message, whether it
be based on a historical event or the thing that
this team has been through. On Saturday night before the game,
Nick Sirianni seated the microphone. He said, I'm gonna bring
(09:54):
up team leaders and anyone else who would like to speak.
And the guys who spoke were interesting. It was of course,
you get Saquon who gave an incredible speech, I'm told,
and then Chauncey Gardner Johnson, who's a defensive back leader
of that defensive back room of young talent. He spoke,
Lane spoke. But what I loved hearing, and what was
(10:16):
my big report on Sunday morning, was that Jalen Hurts,
who was rather soft spoken for a guy of his stature,
got up there and gave a riveting four to five
minute speech that motivated the team and sent them on
their way. And that was my opening hit on Fox.
Nailed it, did it perfectly? Tossed back to Kurt Menafie
(10:37):
screaming fans on Bourbon Street. I get the note in
my ear on Sunday morning, Hey, Shrake's great job. I'm like,
all right, did that first it? Second hits an hour later?
Give us something else, something that's even more up to date. Well,
it was Saquon's birthday, and I wanted to make sure
that the crowd knew what Saquon's morning was like on
his birthday, and I went out of my way to
(10:57):
say Saquon's with his family early on, he was at
the team breakfast, He's getting his stuff ready together in
the hotel. I talked his sources close to Saquon. If
you were looking for cakes and balloons and a happy
birthday song, it wasn't happening, locked in, ready to go.
As someone who had never won the Pop Warner level,
(11:17):
had never won a national title in high school or
state title in high school, never won a national title
in college, Saquon Barkley was looking to bring home his
first title trophy that he'd ever won, besides that Big
Ten trophy that he won at the Big Ten Conference
with Penn State. So delivered that report. Nailed it. Now,
(11:39):
we could go back to Thursday, Friday, Saturday in a second,
but I have to explain what happens on game day.
And I was debating having on one of my Fox
producers to go through it with me. But we finished
that hit at the Eagles team hotel, which I could
say now is the Hilton. They were very careful for
us not to say where the Eagles were, saying, well,
they're staying at the Hilton. So we then rush out
(11:59):
of there at a crazy pace. And because it's a
Fox Super Bowl, we have a a you know, a
security guy, We've got a producer, We've got a driver,
and I'm thinking, all right, maybe we got like some
sort of escort. Now we got so we're sitting in
traffic for the next you know, twenty minutes, and I'm like,
(12:21):
you know what, get we get out of the car.
We run from our set with our credential. We run
from our set. I'm running through a sea of fans.
See I see like you know, actors and celebrities like shregs.
I'm like, hey, how are we doing, Miles Teller, Good
to see you. Like I'm running like I'm just we
got to get to the set because I still had
two hits that we're gonna be at the super Dome
outside and those are happening in like thirty minutes. So
(12:42):
me and my producer Chuck McDonald and our security guy, Scott.
I didn't get Scott's last name, but if you're a
security guy who worked with Fox at the super Bowl
and you're a dude out of Fort Lauderdale, you know
who you are. Scott. Hell of a job we navigated.
We ran from the Hilton to the super Dome. I'm
in like terrible like you know, brown shoes that you
(13:03):
would wear to a bar mitzvah or a wedding. I'm
running in my suit. I get there. We arrived, securities
waiting for us. I get on a golf cart, zoom
up there. Get into the green room at Fox and
it's Edelman, it's Gronk, it's Eli, it's Peyton, Marshaun Lynch
is hanging out, Chris's in there, and then we bang out,
you know, two different you know, pregame hits and in
(13:25):
my last pregame hit with like fifty million people watching,
I look to the camera and I'm like, you know,
Joe Montana had one of his best career games in
this building in the Super Bowl. Tom Brady won his
first Super Bowl and had one of his most dramatic
wins in this building. In the Super Bowl. Patrick Mahomes
is going for three straight. It is something to do
(13:45):
it in this building. And I look at the camera
and I'm like, and I have no doubt he will.
And guess what he did not He had his worst
game as a pro. Social stuff will come in the
last part of this podcast with my interview with my
guy that I'm going to bring on shortly, but I
just want to tell you about the post game then,
because I had this wild ride the game itself. I
(14:07):
watch in a green room underneath the super Dome and
that's with straight Han Terry. How we all the Fox
guys were basically in a sports bar that they built
for us, and there's TVs up there, and it's one
of these deals where I'm kind of like still the
rookie on the team, so I'm not trying to chime
in with my thoughts, but straight hand shouting out his observations,
Howie Long shouting out his observations. Then at halftime it's
(14:30):
a blowout. They rush out to the field. They're gonna
do their show, but I wanted to see Kendrick Lamar.
Admittedly not a Kendrick guy, Like they don't have a
history with Kendrick obviously. I know the music, and I
know his place in the culture, and I know that
the NFL was gonna, you know'll pump this up as
much as possible. So I'm like, I've got it. If
I'm in the building, we're gonna go sit and watch
(14:51):
this thing. So me, Vick, and Woodson couldn't imagine a
better duo to go with. We sneak onto the field,
Edelman joins us, it's the four of us, and I'll
tell you it was cool. It was great. Like there's
a wild scene out there, but you don't get the
same experience in the building as you do at home.
I then watched it on YouTube and thirty two million
people have and it's amazing choreographic excellence and in his rappings,
(15:16):
great whatever, and it's a fantastic show. And Serena's that
like when you're out there and I'm among stadium workers,
who are you know, singing all the lyrics, but like
you can't see, so I'm just on the field, like
this is cool, this is loud. I know, the not
like us be is coming throughout. I'm like, this is great,
I guess, but I can't wait to watch this, you know,
on the back end. And I did, and obviously you
see that it was successful. It was the most widely
(15:38):
viewed and highest rated halftime show of all time, all
right back to the green room blowout. Game is over.
But my job is to do all the on field
interviews for Fox's post game, and I am like a
bulldog in those situations. I will say this right now,
nobody is better in these situations than me. I'm big,
i use my elbows, I've got a Fox camera, and
(16:00):
I've got the official credential that I'm the guy. So
as much as I love some of those ESPN reporters,
and the the NFL network reporters like don't get in
my way postgame, and we got so many great interviews,
you know, a crying Brandon Graham, who is the heart
and soul of this team, A teary eyed Howie Roseman afterwards,
(16:22):
like moments after the architect got his second super Bowl
ring having beaten now Tom Brady and Patrick Mahomes and
super Bowls. And then I rattle them off like Mackay
Beckton when you see that clip of him line on
the field, that's me interviewing him covered in confetti, like
I got dirty. I lied down next to Mackay and
Mackay Junior. If you're a Jets fan, you know his
story four years considered a bust. You know we're not
(16:44):
going to resign him. Sure enough, they move him the
right guard, Jeff Stoutlin and the boys get him going
and he's now a super Bowl champion. Dallas Goddard, we
led an Eagles eag l e s chant with the
fans on Fox, and then I do what I do.
I get the celebrities. Amazing interview with Bradley Cooper. He
only did one after the game. He didn't want to
be the story but he was wanting to do it
with me. We've got a very very small relationship. There's
(17:06):
recognition there. He did it, and then Miles Teller sought
me out. I sought him out and we did an
amazing one where Miles I mean, he's been on Good
Morning Football close to five times probably, and I've seen
him at parties. I saw him at the Fanatics party
the day before, and like, you know, Miles Teller is
a very famous actor, and he's a very accomplished actor.
Between Whiplash and Maverick, that's the two of the biggest
(17:28):
movies you'll see in the last fifteen years. He's also
a awesome dude, like and a guy that I want
to like hang out with and have a drink with.
So we do the interview and immediately Miles goes into
not Hollywood actor mode, but like he's an NFL network
or Fox Sports analyst. He's breaking down. He's like, shrinks,
do you realize that Mahomes had twenty three yards in
(17:49):
the first half and the Eagles had twenty four points
in the first half. And he's like, you know what,
I actually appreciated the fact that we didn't rely on
Saquone of course we had to because DeVante and aj
had their matchups like broke it down, and then I
was like, all right, right, enough of this. This is
this interview is getting along with Miles Teller as the
next uh Dan Orlowski breaking down film. I'm like, Miles,
where are we partying? He's like, I'm parting with the team.
He's like, I've been here for four days, probably two
(18:11):
days too long, but I got a little bit of
juice left, and that clip of him saying I got
a little bit of juice left went on Instagram and
went nuts and gosh, that's what I love doing. Get
back to the crew at the desk. We say goodbye
to Michael Vick because he's now going to be the
head coach in Norfolk State. I've worked with Michael Vick
for the last eight years. I've hung out with Michael
Vick the last twenty two Sundays and twenty two Saturdays
(18:34):
for the last eight years of my life. He is
a brother. We got to say goodbye to Michael. As
we're saying goodbye, we're walking off set and again it's Fox,
so we're like souped up to the nines like they've
done these like rehearsals for three weeks. They know everything
every in and out of the Super Dome. So we
have a golf cart that's going to take us from
the set back to the dressing room. We're going to
(18:56):
change into casual clothes, and a golf cart is going
to take us and escort us to a car that's
going to have some detail to it, and we're gonna
be able to get back to our hotel pretty seamlessly.
As we're getting off that golf cart, I see this
gentleman who is easily in his sixties, and he's kind
of walking by in like a like a quarter zip
(19:16):
fleece that you would see like Eli or Payton wearing
on the Manning cast. And he's got like a Super
Bowl champion hat in his hand, but he's not wearing it.
And I'm like, holy, that's Vic Fangio alone walking around
the bowels of the Superdome. Vic Fangio coached his first
season in the NFL in nineteen eighty six, and non ironically,
(19:42):
non coincidentally, whatever it is, he coached the New Orleans
Saints defense and they were used to be called the
Dome Patrol, and they had this great linebacking corps of
Ricky Jackson and Vaughn Johnson and Pat Swilling and Sam Mills,
the late great Sam Mills, and he was their linebackers
coach and then he was the coordinator. And that was
in nineteen eighty six, and Fangio's career spans thirty eight
(20:06):
years in the NFL, and he had never won a ring.
He had coached in that same building twelve years ago
for the Niners as their defensive coordinator and came up
short obviously in that game against the Ravens and the Harbowl,
and I'm like, holy crap, Vic Fangio. And then I'm like,
where are you going? Vic? He's like going to the
team buses, but they don't leave in a little bit.
(20:26):
I go, okay, and I'm with Carrissa and Chrissa Thompson's like, Vic,
do you want to ride with us back to our
hotel and we'll drop you off. He's like sure. So
the night he won a Super Bowl after thirty eight
years of waiting, Vic Fangio sat next to Peter Schrigger
in a car ride that took twenty five minutes in
traffic with Carrissa Thompson Julian Edelman, Charles Woodson, and Michael
(20:47):
Vick with us pepperingham questions and him just like soaking
it all in that he was finally a Super Bowl champion.
Vic Fangio see next to me. I'm asking Vic Fangio about, like,
tell me about the ninety six Panthers with Lamar Lathan
and Samuel He's like, Sreger, you know too much. I'm like, no,
I love this stuff. Vic was excited to do it
and was happy to win, but like there was no
like great like emotion of like crying or elation play
(21:10):
winning a super Bowl. Happy for him. We drop him
off because there's so much traffic. He's like, just let
me out. He was going to the team party where
Sexy Red is going to perform, and we drop him
off on the middle of Canal Street, literally, Vic Fango,
with no security, no credential to nothing. We drop off
Vic Fangio in the middle of Canal Street with like
a solid mile for him to walk alone back to
the Hilton, and he did so with not a single
(21:32):
fan stopping him on the street. He just walked, just
walked briskly and got to the hotel and then was
partying with everybody else. One more shout out for someone
who won. I gave Howie his love. But I've become
really close with Bob Lang over the years. Bob Lang
runs PR for the forty nine Ers. If Vic Fangio
had a cool story, Bob Lang's got a cool one too.
So anytime you need to line up an interview with
(21:52):
Sirianni or Saquan or Jalen Hurts, you have to go
through like the gatekeeper, and the gatekeeper's Bob.
Speaker 2 (21:59):
Now.
Speaker 1 (21:59):
I got to know Bob Lang his first stint with
the Eagles back when Andy was the coach and Bob
was working for the Eagles from like two thousand to
like two thousand and eight, actually it might have been
ninety eight to two thousand and eight. Where his years
with the Eagles, there's always the assistant PR guy. He
then took a job with a terrible forty nine Ers
team to go run the forty nine Ers PR team. Well,
(22:20):
in that whole window is when they bring on Harbaugh,
they get you know, Alden Smith and Justin Smith, and
then Frank Gord develops into who he is and Kaepernick
comes in for Alex Smith and they go to all
these different you know, big games, the NFC Championship in
the Super Bowl. So he went with Andy for all
of those early years where the Eagles couldn't get over
(22:41):
the hump where they would go to the conference championship
game every year and they would lose to the Buccaneers
and the Rams, and then they would win and they
would beat the eat the Falcons, and they went to
the Super Bowl, but they lost to the to the
to the Patriots, of course, and then they went back
to the NFC Championship game against the Cardinals that year
they lose. So he had all these NFC Championship appearances.
Then he goes to the forty nine ers where they
(23:03):
went to the NFC Championship game every year, played the Seahawks.
They they would lose, you know, all these years they
would go to the NFC Championship game with the forty
nine ers, goes to the Super Bowl with the forty
nine Ers as he did with the Eagles, and loses there.
Then he comes back to the Eagles in twenty twenty one,
so he misses the Eagles winning their Super Bowl in
twenty seventeen. Member head of pr comes back to the
(23:26):
Eagles and he's with them since twenty twenty one, So
what do we have in twenty twenty one, We got,
you know, another Super Bowl appearance in twenty you know,
twenty twenty three, they come all the way to the end,
they lose, and then he gets to go all the
way again. So in total, he had been to ten
conference championship games and four Super Bowls before even entering
(23:51):
Super Bowl fifty nine. And Bob tells me this, and
I'm like, holy crap, I gotta do this story. Bob,
you're the loved in the league. You're the one who
broke up the Jim Schwartz Harball fight, Like did all this,
You're like a beloved guy as far as a as
a pr chief goes like, don't say a word about
do not. I'm like, it's the funniest thing. Bob is always,
you know, spreading the word and trying to protect his guys,
(24:12):
but also be proactive with the media and Eagles and
setting narratives and making sure that we get the right
stuff out with the Eagles Autism group and all the
stuff they do. And yet when it came to this,
he was super sensive. He's like, do not mention this
it's not about me. Well, yesterday I had to put
the tweet out, uh, because on the field there's pandemonium.
I'm one of the only reporters allowed on the field,
(24:32):
and it's Hurts and it's Saquon and it's Lane Johnson
and it's my Alatta and it's all these guys. And
I see Big Dom and Big Tom. I don't know
if he want this out there. Big Dom's got a
little twinkle in his eye. I could tell he was
pretty emotional. He was excited. And then I see Bob Lang,
who's just doing his job, and I stop him and
I look him right in the eyes, and Bob's got
this little this beard and I look him. I go, Bob, Bob, Bob.
He's like, yes, straight track. They go, You're a super
(24:54):
Bowl champion, Bro, and he's like, I love you, buddy,
gives me a hug. It was a cool moment for
someone that you've been working alongside in different capacities with
and it's that. That's the super Bowl to me, it's
that moment. And to see Bob Lang forget Saquon, that's
an amazing story that we're going to celebrate for the
rest of time. To see Bob Lang like an unknown
national name by any means, and a guy who even
(25:17):
the Eagles fans probably don't know because he's so behind
the scenes. But to see him finally get a Super
Bowl victory, like that's the special stuff. Then I put
out a tweet yesterday and I put a tweet out
about Beckton about him getting one, and that got like
seventeen thousand retweets. I put one out about Bob and
it got about twenty retweets. But I care more about
the latter because I know the journey that he's been on.
(25:46):
I was all over the place super Bowl Week. I
went to some really cool events, and if you're going
for the football analysis, you'll get it. But I wanted
to bring on a guest this week, and a guy
who I've known for many years, and a guy who
I love, who is also a behind the scenes force
in putting on the Super Bowl Week in a way
that makes it memorable, in a way that makes it
(26:08):
pop out, in a way that makes it one of
one compared to all these other events that you see
during the calendar year. With no further ado, I want
to bring on our guests for the week. He is
one of the greatest publicity men in the world. But
I also look at him as just a connected dude
who knows how to get the party going. He is
the founder of Burke Communications and a University of Miami
(26:29):
Diehard maybe the biggest Miami fan I know. He's also
fresh off a crazy week. We're going to go through it,
mister Ron Berkowitz. Ron, what's up baby?
Speaker 2 (26:38):
Hey Peter, thanks for having me.
Speaker 3 (26:39):
Man. I was gonna wear my Rayos grid Iron Club jacket,
but I can't even find it.
Speaker 1 (26:43):
Yeah, because I already wore it on Monday football. Ron.
Let's first, before we get into the week, let's first
describe who you are. For those if you were to
get in an elevator and say, all right, Ron Burkwitz,
you've got your own company. Is it PR is it events?
Is it marketing? Tell us quickly who you are, your story,
(27:04):
and really what your company does from the grand scheme?
Speaker 2 (27:07):
Sure, well, I mean we do all that PR, marketing
and events.
Speaker 3 (27:10):
Uh, we represent you know, some of the best and
biggest in sports entertainment, you know, and and around the world.
Really corporate companies and people from you know, Meek Mill
and Robert Kraft and Alex Rodriguez to the Carolina Panthers,
and David Tepper and Nicole Tepper to Michael Rubin and
all his fanatics brands, tops Lid's, Mitchell Andess fanatics and
(27:35):
everything in between, so we kind of handle a little
bit of everything. Super Bowl Week for us is pretty insane.
Not only you know, do we have clients like Reyo's.
There do pop ups which we'll talk about, but but
you know, we have a ton of players that we
do media tours for all week long, which you know,
you guys see all week when these players are are
(27:55):
promoting something that they're representing, plus the game, so it's
a it's a pretty awesome week for us, and we
get to hang out with guys like you man and
have some fun.
Speaker 1 (28:05):
Like when I see your face, like a smile gets
onto my grill so big and wide because I feel
like I only see you in my most euphoric moments
like fun. I think of ron, I think of fun.
And for you, it's work, like you are working. And
you mentioned very humbly, very modestly, that you know you're
involved with the fanatics in Michael Rubin world. Well, the
(28:25):
biggest events at the Super Bowl are hosted by Michael
Rubin and Fanatics and the first one I'll never get
to because it's like a very exclusive room. Ever, well,
I'm happy with my place in the in the in
the Fanatics friends sphere. But I would say there's there's
obviously the White Party in the summer, and then there's
a super Bowl party on Saturday. But there is a
(28:46):
brunch that Fanatics puts on that Michael Rubin's hosts, that
Michael Rubin hosts. That is a very exclusive room that
I think is something that is not as well publicized
and well advertised and as well celebrated that you have
to help organize and put on. Can you take us
through the Michael Rubin Brunch, who's in that room and
really what the gist of it is?
Speaker 3 (29:06):
Yeah, I mean, you know, in a two thousand and
twenty in Miami, Michael and Casey Wasserman put this together
for the first time. It was their lunch that they
decided we're going to put together in one room the
one hundred most influential people in sports entertainment business that
are at Super Bowl. And it isn't publicized, It isn't
(29:27):
something that Michael wants to put out there. You know,
people post photos on their Instagram and that's kind of
how it gets out there.
Speaker 2 (29:34):
Or they tweet stuff or whatever it is.
Speaker 3 (29:36):
But it is a amazing room. I mean, you walk into
that room and you have you know, Hans Vesper from
the CEO of ver Eizen, to Tom Brady to obviously Michael,
and Governor Josh Shapiro from the State of Pennsylvania, Howie Roseman,
you know, great players. It's you know, it's pretty awesome.
(29:59):
This year when I walked in, it was actually it
was actually pretty funny. I came in, you know, it
was Friday. I get in there a little bit early
to just at our you know, photographers that Michael has
make sure they know what they're doing and and we
use all this obviously is to get it for everybody else,
like we're not putting those photos out there again, like
the guests want pictures of each other talking together. It's
it's pretty unique. So I walk in there and the
(30:22):
only people in the restaurant are are Peyton and Archie Man.
You're just sitting there there like a half early early
half an hour at least, this was probably forty five
minutes early.
Speaker 2 (30:34):
And I walk in and Archie I got just this
biggest smile.
Speaker 3 (30:40):
He's like, oh, Ron, He's like, you know because I
just left him the night before him Cooper and Eli
at REOs on Thursday night, and when we left that party,
by the way, and Archie, who you know, had the
you know, the demanding's, had the time of their lives.
I think this week through the Kings of New Orleans, like,
I mean there the only ridiculous thing is that the
(31:01):
Hall of Fame doesn't put Eli in while they're in
New Orleans.
Speaker 1 (31:03):
I think that, I mean, they should shut down the
Hall of.
Speaker 3 (31:05):
Fame just put them in a lot of a lot
of issues with that different podcast for that one, but
that family obviously they're literally obviously like the first family
of the NFL, but in that city.
Speaker 2 (31:18):
They own it. And Archie turns and he looks at
me and he was like, last night was pretty fun, huh.
I go, yeah, it was great.
Speaker 3 (31:25):
I go, honestly, like, Cooper is incredible. And Cooper was
on stage at the Rayos pop up and playing with
the Barnstormers, which was the house band.
Speaker 2 (31:36):
They were amazing.
Speaker 1 (31:38):
They were to get into all the rails stuff. Ye
hear about Cooper because I work with him at Fox,
and I love the guy.
Speaker 3 (31:44):
Archie coast to Peyton because Peyton wasn't there. He was
the only man not there. And Archie goes to Peyton.
He goes, you're idiot, brother, jumps on stage things, he
could play like four instruments and just took over the
whole party. And I'm like, uh, actually he played the
harmonica pretty damn well, pretty good. And he played the
(32:04):
washboard even though he had it on backwards, but he
was like old school wa washboard and singing. I mean
he really. I mean, look, I don't think it's any
secret that he's the most and the most talented Manning
on a personality side. Peyton might argue that, but but
he is Cooper Manning is the life of the party.
Speaker 2 (32:22):
He really is. And it was incredible. I just thought
it was so funny.
Speaker 3 (32:26):
How at the you know, at the start of this
lunch where the first one is there and he you know,
they've been there a little bit, and I walk in
and they start talking. You know, he's like, oh, it
brought him back to last night at REO's and and
they go through that story.
Speaker 2 (32:38):
But yeah, the lunch is, the lunch is amazing.
Speaker 3 (32:41):
I don't you know, I don't know what kind of
deals get done there, but I will guarantee you a lot.
Speaker 2 (32:45):
Of deals get done there.
Speaker 3 (32:46):
Casey and Michael do an incredible job of put of
of putting this room together.
Speaker 2 (32:51):
You know, like I said, you have you know, Travis
Scott and.
Speaker 3 (32:53):
Meek Mill sitting with Robert Kraft and and and Gail
King and and Sierra. It's an incredible table, right Like
then you look and you look over there's another table.
It's like Archie Manning and and Dean Spanos and and
you know it's it's it's pretty amazing.
Speaker 2 (33:12):
So you know, that really kicks off the week for us.
Speaker 1 (33:14):
On let me ask some questions from your side of this.
So is it? And like you know, I saw Burrow
was posting photos from there, and obviously there's photos of
Tom Brady and Peyton Manning there, like that's royalty from
the NFL. But you mentioned that the CEO of Horizons there.
You've got all these NFL owners there. You've also got
like Rich Kleinman in the NBA contingent there, you got
(33:35):
like the Rooks is there. So there's some media there.
Your role in this thing if it's not to promote it.
Are you helping with like the logistics making sure these
people are getting in Okay? Are they hitting you up NonStop?
Like Hey, I need to get into the lunch, Like
what's your role in that world? Because everyone shows up
and has a blast, But I know it takes a
month to set this thing up.
Speaker 3 (33:55):
Yeah, I mean listen, I as far as the lunch goes,
I mean, Michael has an incredible events team that puts
it together, and you know they're probably on a plane
next week to San Francisco to start to look for
the next VEX years.
Speaker 2 (34:11):
You know.
Speaker 3 (34:12):
In this particular case, it was done at Antoine's in
New Orleans, which I believe is the oldest restaurant in
New Orleans.
Speaker 2 (34:19):
Like eighteen forty pictures.
Speaker 1 (34:21):
Looked awesome too. It had this old school like warehouse
feel almost to it.
Speaker 2 (34:24):
It's really really cool, really cool. So they do really
the bulk of the work.
Speaker 3 (34:28):
My job really is to just make sure, you know,
inside like just kind of connect and make sure people
are good and kind of keep an eye on things
and make sure you know it's it's moving in the
right direction. But then also make sure we get the
right photos for what people want, right, Like you know,
it's to your point. You get you get Archie Manning,
(34:51):
Peyton Manning, Tom Brady in a photo together. It's pretty cool, right,
and then you get Robert Kraft and and Tom together
and you get you know, these these different these different
people from different whether it's the same walks of life
for different walks of life together to me is pretty amazing.
And like you said, you know, different years, it's different things.
It depends who's there, right, So there's sometimes is a
(35:12):
larger basketball contendency in Phoenix for example, like you could
have a Kevin Durant walk into the party because they
were in.
Speaker 2 (35:19):
Phoenix, right.
Speaker 3 (35:19):
So the New Orleans Pulicans were on the road this year,
so they weren't there. But so it just depends on
on who's in town and what's going on. But you know,
you know, you have the Friday before Super Bowl to
have Tom Brady, who's broadcast.
Speaker 2 (35:33):
In the game, and as you know, the way he prepares.
Speaker 1 (35:35):
For it, were and we were busy as with the Fox,
like we had everything.
Speaker 3 (35:40):
You know, he came for about an hour and he
usually stays the entire time. You got to go right first,
you brought. He goes, I gotta go watch film. He goes,
I'm watching more film now than I was when I
was playing, because you really got to understand. But you
have Goodell there before the game. You have the owners
there before the game. You know Howie walks in before
the game. The Clark Kant was there. Like these guys
(36:01):
are during the biggest game of their life and they're there,
you know. So it shows obviously the respect for Michael,
but also what Michael and Casey can do to bring
these people together.
Speaker 2 (36:11):
And again it's this.
Speaker 3 (36:11):
This was the I guess the fifth year, and it
you know, every year it gets better and every year
it is to your point. Yeah, I get hit up
a lot for that lunch. That lunch is because you know,
I'm getting into that lunch. Michael does that all himself.
He he made he pulls him and Casey pull each
person in. That's how it works.
Speaker 1 (36:32):
Yeah, and it's personally from them because I am sure
there are people that are on the fringe who have
hit you up. And it's a very awkward conversation to
be like, guy, I don't I don't have any help here,
and also like this is really awkward. How do I
tell you, you're just not influential enough.
Speaker 2 (36:45):
I'm being honest.
Speaker 3 (36:46):
I literally don't even try. I mean, you can use
this and say for the next time, like, don't even
call me, Like I don't even make the call.
Speaker 2 (36:55):
You know, listen, if it's.
Speaker 3 (36:58):
You know, if it's the governor of you know, uh, Louisiana,
I'll make the call. There there is you know, if
it is Shack wouldn't have the problem anyway, he's been here.
But like I would make the call. But there's very
it's a very fine line. But those people that you
were talking about, they're talking to Michael and Casey every day.
Speaker 2 (37:15):
They're in that crew.
Speaker 3 (37:17):
And it's but that really kicks it off for me
and for the week, I think, because that's you know
a lot of people get in their Thursday Thursday night
and that's like the first big, big one, all right.
Speaker 1 (37:27):
So then the bonanza is Saturday afternoon, and I am
not you know, I don't kiss heinie. It's my favorite
event of the Super Bowl when I can get there.
Last year I couldn't get there in Vegas. I had
work stuff. This year, I brought my wife. The fanatics
party of the Super Bowl. It is a treat. It
is a blast. I will tell you why. Everyone it's
(37:47):
a massive party, but it's also chill. Everyone's in their
casual clothes and you can wear t shirt and jeans
or you could wear a suit, whatever you want. And
inside in that inner circle it is the most influential
people in sports and media. But I like to hang
out in the outside and guess what a cool crowd
there as well. Take us into the fanatic Saturday party.
(38:12):
The booking of guests who performed, and this year's in particular.
Speaker 2 (38:16):
Yeah, I mean, look, I think Michael has created the ultimate,
the ultimate party. You can't pay to get in. People
try and pay to get in.
Speaker 3 (38:27):
Hundreds of people have offered a hundred thousand dollars to
Michael to buy tables to it doesn't It doesn't work.
Again curated by Michael Invite only. It's not like these
other big parties. Not that there's anything wrong with those,
but there's those are paid to play and this is
you o to be invited. So even at twelve hundred people,
you know it is. It is a twelve hundred person
VIP list as as it can go.
Speaker 2 (38:48):
This year in particular was it was amazing.
Speaker 1 (38:51):
I mean it was perfect Ron, It's like it was amazing.
There's an inside and an outside. And if it's too
loud inside, which I'm an old man, like, you just
go outside. It was still great there.
Speaker 3 (39:00):
Yeah, I mean it was the space was great. Again,
Michael's events team did a great job because I was outside.
It's Chris Malone, Travis, Scott, meek Mill. I mean there
was there was ten performers. But you know, the the
performance at Michael's parties have become they but they literally
become music festivals. It's not we start with three performers
(39:23):
and we end up with twelve. I mean, it's it's
but again, that's such a it's such a great nod
to Michael and his relationships because a lot of these
people are just.
Speaker 2 (39:32):
Jumping on right. They don't they just want to be
part of it, part of the event.
Speaker 3 (39:36):
And and I mean, you know, Peter, because you've come
every you know, like you said, you didn't come last
year because it worked, but like most years, you're there,
you know, not to blow your spot up, but you
come with Paul Rudd, the biggest chief fan. You bring
you know, you bring, you bring some people in. It's
nobody bothers anyone in there. It's not like it's not
a fan you know, a fan fest kind of thing.
Speaker 1 (39:59):
Like everyone's a mutual appreciation. That's what it is.
Speaker 3 (40:02):
And and what I think Michael and the Fanatics team
do so well is they really great about activating their
brands inside.
Speaker 2 (40:08):
So you can get your top one of one trading card.
Speaker 3 (40:11):
You could spin a wheel for Fanatics bed and get
you know, some money on your account. You can you
can get a custom hat Lid's Hats, Like it's really
cool and not in an obnoxious way. The other thing is,
which I've always appreciated for what Michael and Fanatics have done.
Speaker 2 (40:26):
It's not a branded party.
Speaker 3 (40:28):
It's not sponsored by X and here's mony like that's
never what it's been about.
Speaker 2 (40:33):
It's been about his brand and what they do.
Speaker 3 (40:36):
And they own the day, right, I mean it's Saturday afternoon,
two to seven.
Speaker 2 (40:41):
They own that day. By the time you're done with
that day, you're pretty exhausted, like you're good, like you
don't need to do anything.
Speaker 3 (40:47):
I mean, I saw you at the Rails pop up
that night, like I was ready to go to bed,
like I're out of there.
Speaker 2 (40:51):
I mean it was I was exhausted.
Speaker 1 (40:54):
Let thet go through. Come of some of the funny conversations.
So like David Tepper's the owner of the Panthers. Usually
when I'm dealing with him, it's in a professional manner.
Here he is with Nicole, his lovely wife. He's in
a you know. And the actor David Brianis from the
show Bones is there and I'm talking to David bis
is an ego spind alright, And David Tepper comes over
and gives me a giant bear hug. And then I
(41:15):
introduced the two of them now and then from like
the corner comes over, you know, Joe Burrows there, so
he comes in. The conversation was me Joe Burrow, David Tepper,
and David borrianis the actor that doesn't happen anywhere else.
Speaker 3 (41:29):
I'm sorry, it doesn't listen again, I Michael brings these
people together. There was a there was a photo I
saw that came across from one of the photographers in
the party. It was Burrow, Chase Odell, Beckham, Livy Dunn, like.
Speaker 2 (41:46):
You know, you know, I'm probably I'm missing some but
there was like.
Speaker 3 (41:50):
Justin Jefferson, they were all there, justin Jefferson Malik neighbors.
Speaker 2 (41:54):
Like there was this this like LSU connection there that
was like, oh my god.
Speaker 3 (42:01):
And by the way, what also was really cool was
the Paul Skins won on one card, which you probably
heard about where I've heard all out, Yeah it pulled.
Speaker 2 (42:07):
It was on display there.
Speaker 3 (42:08):
Paul never saw it, so we had it there because
the kid's gonna auction it, I believe, and uh, Livy
Dunn and Michael brought it on the carpet to Livy
and Paul to show it to him, and Paul trying
to put in his pocket and get out, but sure
want what do we do it? My god, this is
the like this is the one of one card. It
was really really cool. I mean, there's a lot of
(42:29):
great things there. You're you know, you had uh uh
Matt Lionard and Jerry Ferrara live on the carpet for
their podcast.
Speaker 2 (42:37):
We should have your podcast live for the carpet. Let's
just let's just keep.
Speaker 1 (42:41):
It popped in with those guys. I love liner.
Speaker 3 (42:43):
And there was the card vault was ripping packs of
cards and one on one cards, and you had Robert
Craft opening cards, and you had post Malone opening cards
and Diplow opening cards. It was. It's just really like
a fun event, right And and again it's that room
you walk in and you see those conversations and you
see those people and you know it's like Pete Davidson
(43:04):
and Kevin Costner likes best friends over the weekend, Like
where does that come from?
Speaker 2 (43:10):
You saw him at dinner at Rao's that night too.
Speaker 3 (43:12):
They were together at dinner, but I don't think they've
I don't know if they've met, but they weren't, like
they didn't go to her together.
Speaker 1 (43:17):
I'll give you more, give you more great because like
this is the stuff that listeners they can get their
football breakdowns from better people than me, but like to
be in the room and I don't. It's like brag
that I was in there. It's just really cool. Like
Paul Rudd and I were rolling together, and Jeffrey Ross,
the comedian, the roast Master, so he's with us. So
it's the three of us. And then Miles Teller comes
(43:37):
over and Paul knows Miles, I don't know. They were
they're in some fancy football together. So you've got this
great crew and I'm there obviously. And then Big Dom
or Dom had never met Paul Rudd. Paul Rudd never
met Dom. I'm introducing Dom to Paul Rudd, and it's like,
this is just think about the Venn diagram of just
like the world, and it's like that's that's where that's
und Dom is.
Speaker 2 (43:59):
He's literally like the biggest celebrity there. He is.
Speaker 1 (44:02):
I mean, everyone wants a picture.
Speaker 2 (44:03):
Really funny with him.
Speaker 3 (44:05):
Uh. There was a point I looked over and the
tempers were talking with Governor Shapiro from Pennsylvania.
Speaker 2 (44:13):
Eli was in that mix.
Speaker 3 (44:15):
And Dom walked over with Uh, he walked over with
Pete Davidson and Dave Yeah, and they and they came
up and they were he introduced him. You know, Nicole
grabs Dom. Nicole devergrab's Dom. She loves everybody loves Dom
and but he's like the glue and it's you know,
it's pretty awesome to see to see that, and but
to your point, it's like seeing all these people together
(44:37):
and look the inside of that party was so dynamic,
like who was there and who ends up talking to who,
and who ends up becoming friends with who is is
and or doing deals is pretty amazing. Like that to
me is like the most amazing part because everybody is
moving around.
Speaker 2 (44:54):
I mean it's a you know, it's not that party
where you go you.
Speaker 3 (44:57):
Sit in one vip a, everyone's looking at everybody, everybody's
at vi p and everybody's moving all in and around
the party. And then once the once the performances start,
which is about an hour and a half of you know,
music festival. You know that that Betty does a great
job of helping put together from the music.
Speaker 1 (45:16):
Let's give her some love, Betty.
Speaker 2 (45:17):
So you know there's a there's a great team of people.
Speaker 3 (45:21):
Again, like I said, you have Florenca from Michael's team
who puts all the who puts all the the the
entire event together from the food, from the set up
to everything. And you have Betty does music, and you
have you know, Michael's got a whole team led by
you know, Jamie Solomon who puts together different things from Michael.
It's it really is uh when you know when people
(45:43):
say there's a team effort there. I mean, look, it
is not easy.
Speaker 2 (45:46):
To put a party like I can't imagine.
Speaker 3 (45:48):
It is not easy. There's a lot of planning. You
have to go find the right space, that space, I
mean we talked about a space. That space was the
best space in New Orleans.
Speaker 1 (45:56):
It was incredible. It was in the middle of a
park and it was just like perfect giant warehouse that
was empty and it was convenient.
Speaker 3 (46:04):
It was like and like I just thought, you know,
if you think about two weeks before it was a
blizzard in New.
Speaker 2 (46:12):
Orleans, that's crazy.
Speaker 3 (46:13):
It could have been you know, you just get lucky, right,
it could have been at you said it was outside
inside party, but it was open air, right, So like
you know, a lot of events I went to over
the weekend. It was hot, it was gross. It was
this pack you jammed in. You're in these little spaces.
That space could have held four thousand people and again
we only put twelve hundred in there.
Speaker 1 (46:32):
Yeah. Uh, my wife, My wife was with man. She's
not like one of these, like you know, starstrucks. She's
not into that at all. She's sitting there and she
taps me on the should look behind you, and Shack
walks by, and my wife's four foot eleven shack walks by.
And then the conversation was cool because I've bring because
I was with Mike Turico, who's hobbling around on his
Achilles and his little scooter. For Mike, it's me, it's Turrico.
(46:57):
And then you know, overcomes Shack, Shack and Tarico of
a relationship, so it's does and then a cool contingent
of Bobby Wagner, Bryce Young Jaden Daniels get in the mix.
I'm like, again, now it's Wednesday.
Speaker 2 (47:11):
Picture. He was in that one.
Speaker 1 (47:12):
I'm sure he was in it. Annow, it's Wednesday, and
it's like, you know, it didn't met in the moment,
I'm just having a conversation with a bunch of guys.
But you know, in the now that it's Wednesday, I
look back, I'm like, that's the most ridiculous, Like roote
and like Bobby Wagner's talking to me about Walter Payton,
man of the ear Initiatives and how he wants to
advance it. And then Shack and Tarrico we're talking about
broadcasting because Rico's coming back to NBC, and Shack, of
(47:33):
course is with inside the NBA. And then you've got
Jayden Daniels, who's the NFL Offensive Rookie of the Year,
and through my relationship with Cliff like he knows who
I am. So we're talking very cool. My coolest moment
though from me. My son listens to Shahboozy all day long,
(48:00):
all night long, love Shaboozy.
Speaker 2 (48:02):
Now.
Speaker 1 (48:02):
I have a podcast with iHeart that we're doing this
on and they had the iHeart you know the Christmas
concert Jason, what's it called jingle Ball? And through my asks,
I get two great tickets to jingle Ball or three
great tickets. IM gonna tak my wife and my son
and Ron bear with me on this story. It's long,
but do you like where it goes? And my son
doesn't give a crap about Meghan Trainer or Katy Perry.
(48:25):
It is to see Chaboozy. He wants to see Shaboozi.
He's eight years old. This is gonna be everything. My
wife's like, we gotta do this. The day of my
wife is like deathly ill my son. It's the middle
of December, and like I have to call the iHeart guys.
I'm like, I'm sorry, I can't go. Feel terrible table
to my legs. Sure enough, we're at your party. We're
at the Fanatics party. My wife and I are talking
(48:46):
and as it's like Chris Johnson, the owner of the Jets,
his wife Doris, it's my wife, it's me and the
four of us. And then as we're talking, incomes Shaboozie
just walks right behind us. And I didn't stop him,
didn't do anything. He stops for a second. He's having
a conversation and I got a picture of my wife
just smiling in front of Shaboozi. We show it to
our son. It's the greatest moment in the world. That's
(49:07):
what I wanted. That is it. I don't want to
talk to him, don't want to bother him. Busy guy
could could not have been cooler.
Speaker 2 (49:12):
Yeah, Shaboozi definitely had a good time. You know, it's funny.
Speaker 3 (49:14):
When he was leaving on the carpet, Michael has a
like a huge trading card on the red carpet. The
carpet was actually blue, so we'll call it the blue carpet.
On the blue carpet, and everybody that walks the carpet
signs it. And I guess Shaboozie he didn't. I don't
think he walked the carpet. I think he just popped in.
He walked around the tent, and so when he was leaving,
(49:37):
he wanted to sign it, so he came back in.
He ripped a couple of cards because I was right
near that, and then signed the thing and he was like,
you know, of course I want to sign this thing.
Speaker 2 (49:45):
Where's the bullpen? And you know it's it's it's pretty cool.
You know. One thing on Shack.
Speaker 3 (49:50):
You know, Shock comes to all the events, all the
Fanatics events usually, and he was in a phenomenal mood
on Saturday.
Speaker 1 (49:58):
Was he not the life of the party. He was
so friendly.
Speaker 3 (50:01):
And he I'm going to tell you he did our
carpet for about thirty minutes and that never happens. Not
anything against him, right, he just like because sometimes he's
like you know what, you know, I just want to
go in and have fun and do what I gotta do.
He was out on the carpet talking to everybody and
we were all like, whoa, all right, Shack, let's go
because look, everybody wants to talk to Shack. It was
the night, you know, that was the day after his
(50:22):
Shock Fun Outs party. He must have thrown a great party.
Speaker 1 (50:23):
Because he was at a phenomenal, great mood. All right, so
that's the Fanatics party. What how's that end? I've never
been there for the end, Like does a music to
shut down and they like to close the tent. I
feel like I could have gone on for three.
Speaker 3 (50:34):
Days, if you know, listen, we always extend it. Michael
always extends it a little bit because.
Speaker 1 (50:40):
That's gotta cost millions of dollars to extend, because you're
dealing with city ordinances and permits.
Speaker 3 (50:44):
Define it is definitely not cheap, probably, And what happens
is it's the musicians right, because they keep popping on.
So the party gets longer again because it's you know,
it's it's it's fun. Everyone wants to keep going. So yeah,
it ended this year about I think about seven thirty
maybe seven forty five. It was supposed to was two
to six, so it went an hour and a half later.
(51:05):
I think that's that's probably pretty good. I think last
year a went two hours later in Vegas. But every
you know, everything's alonger in Vegas. Yeah, I mean it's
like you almost have to get people out right at
some point you do got to end the party.
Speaker 2 (51:16):
There's other things that go on that night.
Speaker 3 (51:19):
You know, there's people have dinners and they have events
and they have you know, different things that they need
to do.
Speaker 2 (51:23):
So you know, you got to but people would they
stay there all night? Yeah, of course they stay there
all night? Why not?
Speaker 3 (51:29):
You know, you know, all right, the boos are flowing,
the foods out there, you know, it's it's it's great.
Speaker 1 (51:34):
I would say that that would be enough for a week.
But you also had something going on the entire week.
Now for the for the listeners at home, you have
to understand every minute in New Orleans, at every bar,
every casin, there's something going on. There is a party
sponsored by DraftKings, there's a party by FanDuel Direct TV. Serious, iHeart,
everyone's got something, and you know it's You can get
(51:55):
into these parties because there's so many of them that
there's access. If you want to pop in, you can.
The one constant starting on Monday night or Tuesday night
at the Super Bowl was this pop up event that
was a collaboration between the famous Italian restaurant and East
Harlem REO's, and then the really trendy pizza place that's
(52:18):
in Williamsburg called Feenie. So you have REOs, which is
like old school Italian, you know, the sauce and everything,
and then you've got Feenie, which is Sean Feeney's company.
Sean great dude who has a cool story in himself,
is a finance guy who left started two restaurants that
opens this like sensational pizza place. They have this thing,
but it's also like a curated situation where there are
(52:40):
certain people at each night and there's certain tables that
are accounted for, and it's a party. You walk in
and there's run DMC's performing, and I got to go
both Tuesday and Saturday night. I saw run DMC one night,
and I saw the amazing Barnstormers, this awesome cover band
another night. And when I was there, Chris Collinsworth and
Mike Tarico are singing like come on Eileen on a
(53:02):
stage like it was that good, so absolute party. But
you're involved with that as well.
Speaker 3 (53:07):
Yeah, I mean that's listen, that's my favorite, you know,
dinner portion of the of the evening right, Like I
can go there every night and it's just like you said,
it's just a great room. It's very chill, invite only
also really can't buy your way in there. Kenny Dicktor
and Frank Pilagrina Junior and Ron Stars, they they put
(53:27):
it together the owners of REOs and Kenny puts it together.
They've been doing it. I think this is the sixth
year from Miami was the first year. This year they
took it to another level. The addition of Feene was incredible.
But what an awesome, awesome addition, like this little slice
shop right off the side of the restaurant that was
(53:47):
open all day, all night. So Sean did it, like
you said, he did a great job. And in that
slice shop they had DJ well, they had good Man Brands,
which was Russell Wilson, so you could you know, they
were gifting shoes to some some VIPs and then they
were and then they were selling shoes out of there
to people that wanted them, which was really cool. So
(54:09):
on you know, on Thursday night, Russ and Sierra were
in there and they were they were doing some stuff.
Eli Eli told me he they threw him out on
Thursday night at like three, they go, we gotta close,
like you gotta go. Literally he shut the place down
on Thursday. It was just really cool to see that
the two of the two of those brands, like you said,
(54:30):
this like old school Raos, the you know, oldest family
run restaurant in the world basically, And and and Fienie.
This new hip, cool Brooklyn pizza shop and and putting
them together.
Speaker 2 (54:42):
It was really cool.
Speaker 3 (54:42):
But to your point, inside that Rao's party every night,
that Rayo's dinner was also another Who's who was there?
I mean it was, it was It was pretty awesome.
You you know, you see you know, top executives of
you know, the top top to to the top athletes.
Speaker 2 (54:59):
You know.
Speaker 1 (54:59):
Well, I was there Tuesday night and it's you know,
Roger Goodell's at the table with Jane and I sat
with them and we added for a while. And that's like, okay,
You've got that on one end of the spectrum. And
then on Saturday night you said Pete Davidson, but like
I've got Ryan Fitzpatrick, you know, running around introducing himself
to the CEO of like Clover, you know, like these
(55:20):
major companies and it's like an interesting room.
Speaker 3 (55:23):
Yeah, and then you have and then like you said,
you have you know darw from run DMC performing to this.
I mean we didn't even talk about like I think
it was Friday night was Belichick and his girlfriend. I mean,
she was she was party. Listen that girl. She definitely
is having fun. She's having a moment. She literally she
(55:44):
walked into the party. I think it was like one
of those like like like DMC was on the was
on the you know, was playing and it was like
the record skips.
Speaker 2 (55:52):
It was like everyone just like you know, it's like,
oh okay, but she had you know, she was there.
Speaker 3 (55:58):
But Bill was there that you know, he did the
they do this ceremonial first meet ball and they kind
of get up there, go up on stage and builded
the meet all that night. Uh, you know Friday, Thursday
night it was Eli and Cooper did the meat ball,
you know, Nurday.
Speaker 1 (56:15):
Night that night I was there.
Speaker 2 (56:15):
It was Joe Montana, right, Joe Montana. So it's you know,
Raos is a special, special place.
Speaker 3 (56:21):
And what's great for the super Bowl is that Look,
most people ninety nine percent of the world, probably ninety
nine point nine percent of the world cannot get into
Rayos in East Harlem, which is the mecca.
Speaker 1 (56:33):
Right, But have you been? Have you been been?
Speaker 2 (56:35):
I have been.
Speaker 1 (56:36):
It's what's because I've been once and I had a tent.
I would love to go back. It was a I
went with Robert Sala and a gentleman named David Edelstein,
who is like a real estate guy in New York
who had become very close with then he came on
our show and talked about the jets this year because
I think David's hilarious. We went and Dino was there,
(56:57):
who is part of the management, in the in the
group behind the kitchen. Like, we had an amazing night.
But I was told, like, you'll get to do this
maybe once every ten years because every table at Raos
is bought already for and you need to just be
either invited or win it in like an auction at
like a charity event. The only way to get in.
Speaker 2 (57:14):
Yeah, and listen.
Speaker 3 (57:15):
But that's why I love these pop ups because you
know what, is there one hundred and fifty people that
get to experience that and it's look, it's obviously a
lot of different Rayos in New York is very small.
There's you know, there's forty people in there at one time.
Speaker 1 (57:28):
Oh didle holding court right right?
Speaker 3 (57:31):
And you know you're the kitchen is you know you
you see the Dino's in the kitchen. It's this big.
It's like, you know, it's super tight, but you get,
you know, you get the whole. You do get the
Rayos experience in there.
Speaker 2 (57:41):
The singing.
Speaker 3 (57:42):
You know, Frank pel Green bringing a senior Frank pelgrin
a junior's debt. Father since past used to get on
the mic and sing with the jukebox.
Speaker 1 (57:52):
So you get it.
Speaker 3 (57:53):
You kind of get that feel in the super Bowl
with the band and and people singing and having fun
and and but it's you know.
Speaker 2 (58:01):
To me, it's like that family.
Speaker 3 (58:02):
It feels like family in there, And it doesn't matter
how many people are in there, because you know, after room,
you know you were there, you knew half the room.
Speaker 2 (58:08):
I was there, I knew halfter room. Everybody's talking and
by the end of the night, everybody knows everybody.
Speaker 1 (58:14):
I was talking to some guy from San Antonio, Texas
who works for a bank. He was sitting next to me.
We were laughing and singing and we were arm in
arms Againstweet Caroline but in the night.
Speaker 2 (58:22):
Right, And that's but that's what Raos is.
Speaker 3 (58:24):
And I think what's great about the pop ups, you
know that they do and they do it at the
Masters as well for a couple of nights, which is
even probably more you know, a lot more condensed, but
also a lot tougher to get into. But the idea
is like you're in this room, you're eating great food,
you're you're talking to really great people, and you're seeing
this thing that's going on, and.
Speaker 2 (58:44):
It's there's like zero stress in that room, right Like yeah,
everywhere else in super Bowl to get it, it's get in.
It's extremely stressful. I can't hear you.
Speaker 1 (58:53):
The music's too loud. I don't want to lose my voice.
I got to be on TV tomorrow like that. That's
what I'm fear for. Data.
Speaker 3 (58:58):
You know, they do a great job, but they bring
it to a lot of people, which you can't you
just physically can't do it in Harlem because the place
is so small. And like you said that, people own
the table. So you're getting in. If you're going to dinner,
someone's giving you the reservation, they're giving you their table,
or they're inviting you.
Speaker 2 (59:14):
And that's the only way in the place.
Speaker 1 (59:15):
Okay, So amazing events all around. It's Sunday night, Monday morning, whatever.
How do you reflect it was a win for you
and your company and that you guys did a good job.
What is the goal and what's the output? Is it
media placement? Is it TMZ and page six or is
it Instagram activity? Or is it just gosh, everyone had
(59:36):
a blast and it's just a positive halo of like
I had a blast and I'll talk about it and
have no problem going anywhere and telling me about my experience.
Speaker 2 (59:43):
Well, it's a little bit of both.
Speaker 3 (59:43):
I mean, obviously, our our main job for the bigger
events is to is to get pressed, right, I mean,
that's our that's our job.
Speaker 2 (59:50):
So yeah, the page six of the World, you know
Ian More.
Speaker 1 (59:54):
Really there's a glowing article, was it Tuesday's page six?
Speaker 3 (59:58):
Yeah, I mean we you know in take you know,
does very well by us. But you know we're giving
him and that and that publication really great stuff. You know,
TMZ and Vogue and the New York Times and UH
Entertainment Tonight and Good Morning America and the NFL Network
and all these places at Fox. Was that you know,
(01:00:19):
everybody come that comes to that carpet, we you know,
we got to get them.
Speaker 2 (01:00:23):
We have to help.
Speaker 3 (01:00:24):
We're kind of like the maestro of that, Like how
do we get these celebrities to you so you can
get them on. You know, Jameis Winston was on the carpet,
by the way, my new favorite person on it.
Speaker 1 (01:00:34):
I mean, and I said today on Good Morning Football.
Who won the Super Bowl week more Jalen Hurts or
Jamis Winston.
Speaker 2 (01:00:39):
Let me tell you something I told him. I said, Look,
this is just from a straight publicity, so.
Speaker 3 (01:00:43):
I'd like, you can go play if you want and
get your ass beat somewhere and get up on Monday
and be hurt.
Speaker 2 (01:00:50):
But you are built and made for TV. My man, like,
you are that good. And he was amazing all week.
Speaker 1 (01:00:57):
I mean, and he's authentic John. I've known him. I've
known him fifteen years. He's authentic as it comes. He's
the real deal. And he is a sweetheart.
Speaker 3 (01:01:04):
Hey, I told him, I literally I said, I go,
you know, you're a Miami fan into a noll.
Speaker 2 (01:01:08):
I go this It's hard for me to say, but
you are amazing. But he really was.
Speaker 3 (01:01:13):
I mean, he really did win the week and and
but you know, that's what the carpet looks like. So
for us, you know, the measure of victory is that
people have a good time, people talk about it.
Speaker 2 (01:01:23):
You know.
Speaker 3 (01:01:23):
I got so many texts after, like from a from
a PR side and the work side of like from journalists,
you know, from people in the carpet that was like
you guys ran a great carpet. You guys did a
great job. Thank you for doing this. Look at our
piece how great it is.
Speaker 2 (01:01:36):
Because of you guys.
Speaker 3 (01:01:37):
So my team, you know, did a did a great
job on the carpet, and and and and doing that
stuff and getting getting the word out there all week.
I mean we have, you know, thank God that we
have such a great team of people at Burke Communications
that get get you know, the word out there, but
bust their ass all week. They're there from Monday this Sunday.
And we don't sit down to your point, people come
(01:01:58):
through Bill have fun. We don't really have a lot
of fun work. We're working our ass off, just like you.
I mean, you reflect on it and it's cool. Like
I was watching you Sunday night after the game and
grabbing like you said, grabbing Miles and grabbing Bradley Cooper,
like you're working your ass off, but like after the
fact you're looking for that's really cool, Like that's I'll
never forget it, you know, that's great. And and you're right,
(01:02:19):
I heard you say the Miles the Miles interview was amazing, Right,
it was amazing, And.
Speaker 1 (01:02:23):
Isn't he But isn't he I mean you've done. He
goes to all the Michael Rubens like amazing.
Speaker 2 (01:02:27):
And that's the that's the beauty of it.
Speaker 3 (01:02:29):
Like we just want to we all just want to
be around good people. Right, It's not you know, look,
some people get starstrucks, some people get this, but like
for us, like we're in this business, it's not something
that we it doesn't affect me. Right at the end
of the day, Like I look at it and go,
this is my job. I got to get Miles to
where he wants to be, right, and so do you
(01:02:49):
and get him, you know, sitting with the right people
where he wants to sit with, or make sure he's
he's good and having fun. And then and then make
sure that the world knows about it, right like in
in you know, the fanatics party, the lunch.
Speaker 2 (01:03:01):
That's not our that's not what we do.
Speaker 3 (01:03:03):
But Rayos, we want people to know what's going on. Listen,
it's it's our job for people to understand what RAOS is. Right,
because now there's a Raos in Miami that people can
go to. You can make a reservation, you can go there.
It's is it different than Harlem, It's a different experience
than Harlem only because you can't get into Harlem. But
once you're inside, it's the same food. You know, Dino Gatto,
the chef is there, Frankie and Ron are there from time.
Speaker 2 (01:03:25):
You know.
Speaker 3 (01:03:25):
It's who doesn't want to be in Miami in the
winter anyway from New York, So go there and have
But that's our job is to get people to know like,
oh I can do that, not just buy the sauce
in your supermarket, right, but which people do, but that
you can still go there, you can try it, you
can be part of it. So you know, yeah, that's
the measure of success for us, just to make sure
people had a good time.
Speaker 2 (01:03:45):
People see it, and you know, we're we're already you know,
we'll start playing in San Francisco in a couple of weeks,
which is amazing.
Speaker 1 (01:03:53):
My last question for you, so I've called you a cane.
I've said you're the biggest Miami fan I know, like
your real deal, Like if they come to the Crudential Center,
you're making the trip to Jersey, if they if they're
doing a basketball game at the Garden, I see, I
know it. And football it's even a different level. Make
the case for cam Ward as the first quarterback off
the board.
Speaker 2 (01:04:14):
Look, I know Miami football inside and out.
Speaker 3 (01:04:18):
I've seen everybody that's come through that program over the
last thirty five years.
Speaker 2 (01:04:23):
Cam Cam is just different man.
Speaker 1 (01:04:26):
He you know.
Speaker 3 (01:04:27):
I had the chance to meet him a couple of
times this year. You know, Mario, I'm very close with
Mario crystal Ball the coach. In July, Mario told me
he was up up here and we met and he
told me Cam is going to is going to change
the game for our program.
Speaker 2 (01:04:42):
And I'm like, okay, yeah, yeah, what does that mean?
You know?
Speaker 3 (01:04:45):
And the minute you saw Cam take the field, he
was just a different breed that's been there. He is
an alpha. He is super confident. I think he is.
I really do believe he is.
Speaker 1 (01:04:56):
You know.
Speaker 2 (01:04:56):
I think some people say, oh, these aren't the same
types of quarterbacks. I don't know.
Speaker 3 (01:05:00):
I think he could be very Jaden Daniels like. I
think he has a great arm. I think he's big.
I think command an offense. You know, I'm a Giants fan.
I hope he slips to the Giants at three. I
don't know if that's gonna happen, but I will say,
if you want somebody in your locker room. That will
literally from day one, command the respect and attention that
(01:05:21):
you need to command and and do that.
Speaker 2 (01:05:25):
Cam Whart's the guy.
Speaker 3 (01:05:26):
I mean, that guy had no problem if you watched
all year, go on interviews and say you're going to
keep us out of the playoffs. I'm the best quarterback
in the country, We're the best offense in the country.
That to me is old school Miami.
Speaker 1 (01:05:38):
That's how mine is Johnson Miami.
Speaker 2 (01:05:40):
Like the only shame of.
Speaker 3 (01:05:41):
It is that we didn't have him for more than
one year in Miami. Yeah, but that was the eighties.
That was Michael Irvin, that was Russell Maryland, that was
Cortez Kennedy, that was the that was the Kenes of
the eighties and nineties. And that's why they want right
because of that bravado. And you walked in there to
the Orange Bowl, you knew you were gonna get your
ass cakes before the game started, just because those guys
(01:06:02):
were on the sideline and you were scared.
Speaker 2 (01:06:04):
That was Camp this year.
Speaker 3 (01:06:06):
Now, it was unfortunate if we didn't have a defense
that could stop anybody, but you know, you knew Camp
could put up forty or fifty points every game. And
that's what he did. And I think I think he's
a phenomenal quarterback. I think he's going to be very
good for someone. I think whoever gets him is really
getting just a great person at personality and a great person.
Speaker 2 (01:06:26):
So I love him. I think, listen, I think this
draft is actually stronger than people think.
Speaker 1 (01:06:31):
Well, it's very good at certain positions defensive end, defensive tackle,
tight end, running back, but the quarterback is the position
that people are not sure about. So we're see, you know,
it goes every year in the draft. I do the quarterback.
Speaker 3 (01:06:43):
I think a guy like Jackson Dart is sitting there,
He's gonna take him. He could be a good pro.
I think this draft is deeper. You know, why can't
you find bon Nicks, a bone Nicks in the you know,
in the Jackson Dart right. I mean, look, no doubt,
you do not need to find a quarterback at one
and two only. So I do think there's there's some
good quarterbacks that they're but you know, obviously maybe I'm
a little biased. I do think Cam's the best one,
(01:07:05):
and I think Camp's gonna have a lot of fun
in this league.
Speaker 1 (01:07:07):
I worked with her for years at the NFL Network,
and I still see him all the time. I think
of him as like the faith of Miami football. Who's
the guy the legend that you see that you still
get starstruck over.
Speaker 3 (01:07:20):
I mean I don't really get starstruck per se, but
I love to see, Like you said, Michael Irvin to me,
is he is Miami right? Like this year, I went
to a bunch of games because it was fun and
I wanted to go down. I brought my son down,
I brought a bunch of friends down. You know, you
know Mike was he was. I mean, very'svolved by the
way every game, Yeah, designing shirts, wearing wearing new you know,
(01:07:43):
putting shirts on sale and designing shirts. You know, this year,
I thought seeing that back was really good. Edrin James
and Clinton Portis and Michael Irvin and Lamar Thomas and
these old school guys being there on the sidelines, which
is what again, if you watch those thirty for thirties,
that's what Miami football was.
Speaker 2 (01:08:01):
It needs to be that. I think Mario Christopal was.
Speaker 3 (01:08:04):
You know, Mario is a two time champion for Miami,
so he knows what it's like and and so getting
those guys back but I always yeah, I mean, I
listen to me. Michael Irvin is the he is the
ultimate Miami guy. Right, So you talk about bleeding orange green,
that guy bleeds orange and green. He is as passionate
as you've ever seen. Go go rule Michael Irvin in Miami,
(01:08:26):
and you'll see like speeches that are just in your mind.
Speaker 2 (01:08:29):
Right.
Speaker 3 (01:08:29):
But I mean, look, Edy ray Lewis, these are all like,
these are all legends of the game. So for us,
you mean, like not only they for me is it
like Miami guys, but they're just like the best their
positioning ever, right, And that's why I hope and I say,
I actually asked this to Peyton Manning.
Speaker 2 (01:08:48):
I said, Peyton, how the hell is Reggie went on
in the Hall of Fame?
Speaker 3 (01:08:51):
Yet, by the way, another Louisiana guy, a Miami guy,
How's he not incredible?
Speaker 2 (01:08:57):
But there's just.
Speaker 3 (01:08:58):
So many guys that when you watch them come through,
and you know, I think maybe eventually, like you might
see that through Alabama the way they dominated and there
guys start to pop through, but all over the different Right,
the one thing that's different is that these Miami guys
not only dominate the league, but they're you know, they're
all most of them are Hall of Famers, which is
pretty amazing.
Speaker 1 (01:09:18):
Yeah, yeah, pretty due. This was great. Hey, I appreciate you,
Ron Burke with where can we where can we find
Burke Communications if we want to find our great publicity
firm and guys who can help us enhance our brand.

for this.
Speaker 3 (01:09:53):
An absolute blast, dude, absolutely all right, Pete, thank you man,
appreciate it you And.
Speaker 1 (01:10:08):
That's a blast. That's Ron Burke. With that guy. You
want to talk about someone who's like in the room
where it happens, it's Ron and he's such like a
he doesn't make it about him, so like you rarely
see him and then like you see him in the
corner of your eye, it's like, Oh, there's jay Z
and Beyonce talking to you know, Lamar Jackson. Oh, and
there's Ron behind them. So great dude known him for
(01:10:29):
years and I think he does a fantastic job. And
I've been so lucky to get to know him that.
Through Ron and through some other connections, I've been able
to go to that Michael Rubin party a Super Bowl
week every year and it's been really cool. The fanatics, guys,
All right now for our sponsors, and it is time
for delivering Results presented by Uber Eats, and I want
to discuss a person that delivered last week. And of
(01:10:52):
course we can go Jaden Daniels, or we can go
as he has accepted his Offensive Rookie of the Year,
or do we go super Bowl? We could talk about,
you know what a great performance Jalen Hurts had or
or Cooper Dejean. The winner Peter Schaker's delivering results presented
by our sponsors at Uber Eats is the artist jelly Roll. Yes,
(01:11:13):
jelly Roll. Friday night, my wife and I left the
Commissioner's party in a suit and a ball gown that
you would wear to a gala, and we went to
the Orpheum Theater in New Orleans, where we had a
two tickets to see a concert Jelly Roll and Chris Stapleton.
(01:11:35):
Not only did we go to Jelly Roll, but we
went right into the middle of the moshpit. And my
beautiful friend that I'm here with now and producer slash
representative from iHeart, Jason English, was in the house. Jason
had never met my wife. Jason had never been to
a Jelly Roll concert before. See Jason in the crowd,
(01:11:55):
give him a big old hug, bring them over. And
then Jelly Roll proceeded to have an hour long set
that I think owned and tore the house down in
New Orleans. Played his hits Somebody Save Me, you know
I need a favor, all the hits that you know
from jelly over the years, and some of his new
(01:12:17):
stuff just fantastic. But he also did covers, did covers
of Green Day, Time of My Life, He did Eminem,
what was the Eminem song from eight mile? Lose Yourself?
He did Boys in the Hood? Did that? What else
did he play? Biz Marquis you say She's just a friend?
(01:12:39):
Did a million covers and what's cool is I'm in
the mosh pit and I get a video the next
day from my buddy Spoon. Now Spoon is a producer
of the Amazon pregame show Get a video on my phone.
It's me singing every word to some song from Jelly Row.
I know every song. I've seen him five times now.
I love Jelly Roll. And the people that Spoon were
with was Jared Goff, Ryan Fitzpatrick, Kyle Hughscheck, George Kittle,
(01:13:06):
Trevor Lawrence, and then John Hamm who was having the
party of his life up there in the balcony, just
loving Jelly Roll. They were all up in the in
the balconies. I would call them like the the Abe
Lincoln seats because of like, that's how the theater was.
But that's pretty morbid. Nothing like that happened at the
Jelly Roll concert and Jelly was addressing the crowd. Jelly
(01:13:27):
was addressing them. Jelly was amazing. He was doing it
in a Titans leather jacket with his drummer, who I
just I absolutely love his energy. His drummer wearing a
number ten Titans jersey and I'm like, oh, he's wearing
a Vince Young jersey. They turned around it was a
DeAndre Hopkins ten. I'm like, all right, not as cool,
but I still like it. It's still a Titans jersey
(01:13:47):
number ten. That is that is who delivered. It was
one of the greatest concerts. It was only an hour.
It was perfect. We dipped out. Chris Stapleton then performed
I saw Stapleton the night before. Unbelievable vocals. Maybe the
best living country singer alive. That was delivering results presented
by Uber Eats, where you can get the best deals
on game day food all season long. It's the official
(01:14:09):
on demand delivery partner of the NFL. Order Now, all right, guys,
gonna go get some hot tea. I'm gonna go rest
my vocals. I'm off next week. Thank god. I will
see you at the combine. Hopefully I'll do a combine podcast,

keep on rolling. Congratulations to the Eagles, Thank you to
our guest Ron Berkowitz, and thank you to you guys
