Speaker 1 (00:00):
Caitlin's Entertainment Report, and he's on the breadshell.
Speaker 2 (00:03):
Davis Darvish, a forty year old man from Santa Monica,
was arrested over the weekend for threatening to bomb the
Coachella Music Festival after he allegedly approached a security guard
at a southern California casino on Saturday said he was
going to bomb the popular music festival. I don't know
how he got away from that security guard, but then
officers caught up with him about an hour after he
(00:24):
made the initial threat, and that's when they searched his car.
No explosives, weapons or bomb making materials were found, but
you don't joke about that.
Speaker 3 (00:32):
So he got arrested, and rightfully so.
Speaker 2 (00:34):
Speaking of the festival, people trying to camp sat in
traffic for twelve hours before getting into the Coachella grounds
without access.
Speaker 3 (00:43):
To bathrooms, water, or gas.
Speaker 2 (00:45):
While waiting in line, people were literally going in the bushes,
with others saying their cars were overheating because it was
over one hundred degrees outside.
Speaker 3 (00:52):
You're in the desert.
Speaker 2 (00:53):
And even when they got in, they said there was
still no direction on where to go. I guess part
of the issue is they let people in later this year,
as well as launching a preferred camping program compared to
first come, first serve. So if you were going to
the festival just to watch it, there were not lines,
you were fine, But if you were waiting to camp,
that's where the issues were. It also looked to me
(01:13):
like they let more people into the festival than ever before,
but I can't be sure on that now. As for
the actual festival, they were a ton of amazing performers,
Meg the Stallion, Lady Gaga, Green Day, Benson Boone. But
over at Courtney Kardashian's Poosh Party that's her company, Heidi
Montag performed Okay.
Speaker 3 (01:32):
On She did her song Fashion.
Speaker 2 (01:36):
She was by herself, no dancers, nothing, and it was
on the saddest little stage. It looked like it was
erected moments before she performed. I didn't know if the
stage was going to break through. But she tried her best,
you know, and we support Heidi.
Speaker 1 (01:48):
Yeah.
Speaker 4 (01:48):
I mean probably the production value could have been higher,
and that's not her fault.
Speaker 1 (01:52):
You know, they should have invested more.
Speaker 2 (01:54):
No, Courtney, you did My Girl kind of dirty, but
Spencer was there.
Speaker 4 (01:58):
I didn't see why they didn't think they had to
invest in production value, because when you have a voice
of an angel like that, like it doesn't take much.
Speaker 1 (02:05):
But I'm thinking that they just did a dirty Yeah.
Speaker 3 (02:08):
I don't know. That was not very nice of Courtney
and Leslie.
Speaker 2 (02:11):
After just two weeks in theaters, a Minecraft movie is
already the highest grossing release of twenty twenty five. The
Warner Brothers video game adaptation followed up its blockbuster opening
with a second weekend of eighty million in ticket sales worldwide.
Speaker 3 (02:25):
It's quickly topped five hundred and fifty million.
Speaker 2 (02:28):
None of the weekend's new releases even came close to
challenging Minecraft. The King of Kings, which is literally about Jesus,
came in second. It's an animated movie of Jesus's life.
I guess nineteen million for that. The Amateur Warfare and
Drop rounded out the top five, So people are going,
I really didn't realize that people would go so crazy
for this.
Speaker 3 (02:47):
And they're still yelling in theaters.
Speaker 2 (02:49):
When they yelled chicken jockey in the movie, I don't
know what that.
Speaker 3 (02:52):
Means, but we're still yelling and throwing popway what that.
Speaker 1 (02:55):
Means, our resident Minecraft expert.
Speaker 3 (02:59):
That's kind of like a that we do as Minecraft fans.
Oh yes, what does it mean?
Speaker 1 (03:04):
Yeah, what does it mean?
Speaker 3 (03:05):
Well, you guys aren't really in it, so you wouldn't
understand it.
Speaker 4 (03:09):
Right right though I wouldn't. I probably wouldn't even go
right over my head.
Speaker 3 (03:12):
It's like our meeting call. Okay, yeah, it gets it.
It's crazy right. Well, thank god you're here to tell.
Speaker 1 (03:18):
