Speaker 1 (00:02):
Ever been left waiting by the phone. It's the Fred Show.
Hey DJ, good morning, welcome to the program. How are
you hey doing?

Speaker 2 (00:11):
Fun man? Happy to be here? What's good?

Speaker 1 (00:13):
What's the money is good? I don't know. We're well,
we're about to find out what's good with this woman Angelina,
who you met. Here's what we need to know. How
you guys met, Uh, tell us about any dates that
you've been on, and then where things are now while
you think you're being ghosted. Uh yeah, I mean it
was all good.

Speaker 2 (00:30):
We met at a bar the old fashioned way. Sounds
like a good sign, and we hang out all night
and made out a little even next day, we're still
texting a bunch a lot of texting.

Speaker 1 (00:42):
And goes on for about a week. So ask her out.

Speaker 2 (00:46):
And the date was fun, super fun, and we went
back to my place. I mean, all these good signs.

Speaker 1 (00:53):
Hooked up.

Speaker 2 (00:55):
Great sign and now you know, I'm this year and
I'm wondering it was a mistake because she left and
she never responded to me again. Was trying to figure
out why.

Speaker 1 (01:05):
Okay, So yeah, I mean I would say, you met
in person, and you know you're able to gauge the
chemistry that way and it was good obviously, because you
kiss that night, then you go on, you hook up
the whole thing. So I would wonder too. We've gone
out now twice and things got better each time. So
why am I being ghosted? Now? Yeah?

Speaker 2 (01:24):
That's that's that's it. I just thought I'm drawing a blank.
It was all it was all positive.

Speaker 1 (01:28):
Okay, Well that's where we come in. We're gonna call
this woman, Angelina. We're gonna see if we can figure
out what's going on. You'll be on the phone at
the same time. And the hope here is that maybe
there's something we can straighten out, or she's been busy
or not feeling well or who knows what, But we
want to set you guys up on it, in this
case a third date that we pay for. Okay, okay, yeah,
let's go. I'm gonna play one song and then we'll
come back and do it. Stay right there, DJ, Yeah,

(01:50):
you've got to hear what happens next part to a
waiting at the phone right after Chapel rode back in
two minutes Fread's show, Chaparon, It's the Fread Show. Good morning,
thanks for waking up with us on the radio and
the iHeart that anytime search for a Fred show on demand. Hey, DJ,
let's call Angelina. You guys, you met the old fashioned way,
you met in person, which never seems to happen anymore,
it sounds like, and then you wound up going on

(02:12):
another date, and you know, both of these interactions were
really good, except you haven't heard from her since then,
and you want to know why. Yeah, that's right, all right,
let's call her now. Good luck? Hello, Hi is this Angelina? Hi?

(02:33):
My name is Fred. I'm calling from the Fred Show,
the Morning radio show, and I have to tell you
that we are on the radio right now, and I
would need your permission to continue with the call. Can
which have for just a second? Would you mind? You
can hang up anytime?

Speaker 3 (02:44):
I'm curious? So yeah, that's.

Speaker 1 (02:46):
Fine, Yeah, that's fine. Okay, Well I'm going to take
that as a yes. We're calling on behalf of a
guy named DJ who he I guess you guys met
out and went on a couple of dates, you remember DJ?

Speaker 3 (02:59):
Yeah?

Speaker 1 (02:59):
I do. Okay, So he called us and told us
that he met you out and felt like you know,
it was you guys hit it off and then you
went on a date and he says things got better,
and then he says, since that date, the second date,
I guess you'd call it, he hasn't been able to
get ahold of you. It feels like you're ghosting him.
Are you ghosting him?

Speaker 4 (03:20):
Yeah?

Speaker 1 (03:21):
I mean I'm just gonna be honest.

Speaker 3 (03:22):
Yeah, I mean everything was great until it wasn't.

Speaker 4 (03:27):
And yeah, I've been ghosting him.

Speaker 1 (03:31):
What's there was when until it wasn't? What does that mean?
Everything was great until what? Well?

Speaker 4 (03:35):
He was warm at the bar and dinner and we
were totally vibing. We both got tipsy, so we went
back to his place and we were making out and
we started hooking up. But as we're hooking up, I
realized he had headphones in his ears, and I'm like,
that's the bar.

Speaker 3 (03:56):
So I asked him what's up with the headphones? And
his answer said that it helps him stay focused and
it helps him get to the finish line. He listens
to techno music, so there's no distraction.

Speaker 1 (04:11):
WHOA like eight over here? Wow? What's up Leonardo DiCaprio.
So what does he have like like earbuds in like
air pods or something?

Speaker 4 (04:21):
Yes? Yes, And I was weirded out, Like I tried
to keep going and I just.

Speaker 3 (04:28):
I couldn't do it, and so I just said I.

Speaker 4 (04:31):
Have a meeting in the morning and tried to you know,
just bailed out and said.

Speaker 3 (04:35):
I was tired, and I last I was just so weirded.

Speaker 4 (04:38):
Out about it.

Speaker 1 (04:39):
I mean, God forbid he we get any feedback from
his partner. You know, it's I guess you're just a
thing because he doesn't need to hear you, right or right?
You didn't want to share the other earbud with men
thing to do this one INSNC together at least be
on beats. We can both listen to scrill well enough

(05:00):
for you, right, Yeah, that would have been very good,
the prettiest thing to do. Everybody knows that, or a
crazy idea a speaker so everybody can join in. Let
me DJ is his name, Like, wow, let me bring
DJ in? Hey, DJ, what like, what are we doing?

(05:21):
It's supposed to be like a give and take thing.
You know. Most people want to interact with their partner
while they're doing that, and I treat them like a
thing while they listen to their techno and go to
poundtown or whatever.

Speaker 2 (05:32):
I mean, I'm just I'm just surprised. That's the reason
we haven't talked, Like I've heard waiting by the phone
and like people are way in much wilder stuff than this.

Speaker 1 (05:44):
I mean, well that is true. Well I'm not bothering her,
Like why does she care? I'm not.

Speaker 2 (05:51):
It's not like I'm playing it on speakers or a
subwolfer and like, you know, just killing her vibes.

Speaker 1 (05:57):
I think I'd be really offended though, DJ Like if
I'm with somebody and they're like, hey, can I wear
a blindfold because I don't want to look at you?
Or hey can I can I listen to music because
I don't want to have to hear you making any
noise while we do this thing that's supposed to be
you know, both of us together.

Speaker 3 (06:14):
Like he needs a distraction, Like that's just so offensive.

Speaker 2 (06:18):
I mean, I don't see you as a distraction. I
see it as an enhancement. Like it gets me, It
gets me like in the zone. Like I think, I
don't mind if someone needs a blindfold or anything to
get there.

Speaker 1 (06:30):
We get there. This man is a seasoned athlete. Okay,
he does what he has to do in order to
bestow upon you a proper experience. If you know what
I mean, it's so oh my god. Yeah, by the
way that it's to get it right, to get him
to the finish line. He doesn't seem too concerned. I mean,
he doesn't even need to hear if he's doing it right.

(06:50):
You know, for a lot of people like you might
listen for some feedback, some response like oh I'm onto
something here, he doesn't even care, right exactly?

Speaker 4 (07:00):
Oh my god?

Speaker 1 (07:02):
All right? DJ, okay, do you I don't even know
what to say about this. At least you weren't eating
cheetos too? Was it cheetos and cheese? It's what did
uher DiCaprio? Cheese? It's and the music again, that would
take it to another level. I suppose if you were
also eating during the experience, DJ, have you ever considered that?

Speaker 2 (07:22):
You know, maybe I'll give it a try. As long
as it's just rhythm.

Speaker 1 (07:26):
Rhythm, man, that's right. What do you mean? It's right?
This man like, let him use what he needs to
get what you gotta do. How insulted? Would you be?
Peeky if you got with this guy and he was like,
hang out one second, let me put some in my
ear so I don't have to listen to your ass
making any noise. Hey, maybe I just need you to
focus or whatever it takes to get me there. And

(07:48):
you know he won't know if he got you there
because he's too busy. And you know what's what if
it's a short song too, like only two and a
half minutes. You know, you know how I feel about that.
I got things to do. That's do what we came
to do to work. Wow, Okay, all right, DJ, I'll
give you Kiki's number because she's single, so I'm sure
Big Tim won't mind. Angelina, will you give this guy

(08:10):
another chance? Or no?

Speaker 4 (08:12):
No?

Speaker 1 (08:13):
All right, Well DJ, I don't know, man, if you
need the music, I might say, play it out loud,
because I honestly, if you're saying to me that any
noise you make is going to inconvenience me while I'm
doing that to you or vice versa, I would be
insulted by that, Like, yeah, I want to do this
with you, but I do not want to hear you.
I don't want to hear tech noo. Yeah, I don't
want to get music. I know you guys like music,

(08:35):
you do. I can't do it to music. So maybe
the airpard is not a bad idea. See, can you
do what I'm saying? I don't do music like I
want to hear me and you, well, he doesn't want
to hear you. Happy. I don't know, so Angelina, No,
you don't want to No, No, what's that? DJ? Oh
you have something else to say?

Speaker 2 (08:56):
No? I mean I just think you all ain't thinking
about the destination of the destination of me. I think, yeah,
because I'm just one remix away from a good time.

Speaker 1 (09:06):
You're a good time? Okay? Yours all?

Speaker 2 (09:09):
Right?

Speaker 1 (09:10):
Then? Well I think you're gonna be on more of
a solo mission now, but a concert for one right,
But anyway, guys, thank you both for your time. Best
of bucks to both of you. Thank you the Entertainment
Report and one hundred bucks which she'll be Shelley. She
will win today. Shelley, please win today. It's both our
