Speaker 1 (00:02):
I've ever been left waiting by the phone. It's the
Fred Show, Adam, good morning, Welcome to the show. How
are you. I'm doing pretty good?

Speaker 2 (00:10):
Spread calling because I had an awesome date and I
need a little bit of help from him.

Speaker 1 (00:18):
Okay, So what happened on this day? Because it's waiting
by the phone, So I assume the awesome date resulted
in this woman not responding to you or reaching out
to you, or there's some kind of a communication issue.
So am I right about that? I haven't heard from her.

Speaker 2 (00:33):
It's been about two weeks.

Speaker 1 (00:34):
Since that's onn Okay, so what happened? Start to finish,
how did you guys meet? Tell us about the date,
and then where things are now?

Speaker 2 (00:41):
Okay. Her name is sam Samira, and I met her
on Bumble and we're not for like a cute little
dinner day after I got her number, and she's funny,
it's just fun to be around. And best of all,
she was even in person.

Speaker 1 (01:00):
Okay, this is all good. Yeah, And like you.

Speaker 2 (01:03):
Know, she was a little bit quiet or shy, but
like I kind of accept that for a first date.

Speaker 1 (01:09):
Okay. So the conversation was I mean, maybe a little
strained or everyone's kind of nervous or I don't know,
maybe not as open as it might be as you
got to know one another. You're saying, yeah, like.

Speaker 3 (01:19):
I don't think there was anything bad about the conversation,
but like I think, just personality wise, she's a little
bit shyer.

Speaker 1 (01:25):
Oh all right, So she's a little shy, and it
can be awkward for people meeting each other for the
first time. So you get through that. But you thought
the day was a success overall.

Speaker 3 (01:34):
You know, we ended the date with a hug, and
I thought I'm here probably before and now before calling me,
but I haven't heard back from them.

Speaker 1 (01:45):
Okay, well that's where we come in. We're gonna call
us Samira. We're gonna see if we can get her
on the phone. You'll be on the phone as well.
We're gonna ask some questions at some point. You're welcome
to jump in. The hope here is always that we
can figure out what's going on, straighten it out, and
then set you guys up on in this case, a
second date and pay for all right, all right, let
me play one song. I'm gonna come back in two
minutes and we'll get to the bottom of this all right, Adam.

(02:07):
Let's see what happens next, Part two of Waiting by
the phone after this song on the Fred Show. Good morning,
It's the Fred Show. Part two of Waiting by the Phone. Adam,
Let's call Samira. You met on the dating app Bumble.
You went on a date. You admit that it was
a little strained because you thought she seemed nervous, maybe
a little shy. But aside from that, you thought it

(02:29):
was a good date. You were attracted to her, you
were hoping to see her again. But you have not
been able to get ahold of her since the date.
She has ghosted you, and you want to know why. Yeah,
I really love here. Okay, let's call her right now.
Good luck at him?

Speaker 4 (02:45):
Hello?

Speaker 1 (02:47):
Hi is this Samira? Yeah, Samira? Hi, good morning. My
name is Fred. I'm calling from the Fred Show, the
morning radio show, and I have to tell you that
we are on the radio right now and I would
need your permission to continue with the call. Can we
chat for it just to second?

Speaker 2 (03:01):
Okay?

Speaker 1 (03:02):
Well, thank you very much for calling on behalf of
a guy named Adam who says he met you on
the dating app Bumble and you guys recently went out
on a date to you remember.

Speaker 5 (03:09):
Him, Yeah, I remember Adam.

Speaker 1 (03:12):
Okay, Well, so he called us and told us that
he was excited to meet you and was attracted to you,
and he thought the date went well. He did admit
that he thought you were a little shy, but he
can't figure out why you haven't called him back or
reached out to him since the date. And that's what
we're trying to figure out for him. So what's your
side of the story. What happened?

Speaker 6 (03:30):
I mean, I don't really.

Speaker 5 (03:31):
Want to talk about it's kind of inappropriate for radio
this time.

Speaker 1 (03:38):
Kids are getting going to school. I mean, we can
be a judge of that. Yes, that's what's kind of
up to. We'll figure that part out. So why don't
you tell us what's going on and we'll figure out
if we can put it on the radio or not.

Speaker 6 (03:49):
Oh fine, okay, So I mean we are on the radio, figure.

Speaker 1 (03:55):
Talking about it on the radio. Yeah, come on, you
gotta trust everyone trusts my judgment around. I have tremendous judgment. Anyway,
go ahead, Okay. So throughout dinner, Uh, he picked up.

Speaker 5 (04:07):
Various food items and he's making this really weird like
eye contact with me, and he was simulating something that
a guy my doodle woman with his mom.

Speaker 1 (04:23):
I had an allergic What kind of food items was
he was he using to simulate this activity? What the hell?

Speaker 6 (04:34):
Anything anything you can like suck on and just be.
It was just too much with the eye contact.

Speaker 1 (04:44):
And I didn't think was there I want to know anything,
I want to know, it wouldn't be like I would be.
I thought he was doing he was.

Speaker 4 (05:00):
I think he's.

Speaker 1 (05:01):
Simulating something he was going to do to her. Oh yeah,
I thought he was. I thought he was doing what
he wanted done. Okay, simulating a preview.

Speaker 6 (05:15):
When he was sucking on his topsticks and was at.

Speaker 5 (05:17):
A mommy and like it was just weird. It was
and he was looking at me like the stare was
just really intense and I try to not think too
much of it and.

Speaker 6 (05:27):
The start, but then I realized and he was like
really creepy and to die.

Speaker 1 (05:35):
He's using different items to simulate activities that he was
hoping to involve himself with and you later, Yeah, definitely,
I thought.

Speaker 6 (05:46):
Really enjoying this.

Speaker 1 (05:49):
I feel like there was like dinner with their parents
and what was weird of doing? Police? Let me hold on,
no Samira Adam is here. I got to get to Adam,
and I forgot to mention that Adam's here. Adam, whatever
you've got in your hand, set it down, because I don't.
I'm worried about what you might be doing with it.

(06:09):
What what was the thought process here?

Speaker 3 (06:12):
Honestly, I just wanted to show some mirror what could
have been in store.

Speaker 2 (06:16):
For a little bit later.

Speaker 1 (06:24):
Okay, caln has turned on right now? Wow, my gosh,
So any food item, no, I should say, no food
item is safe. Apparently you couldn't just like maybe I
don't know, show her later, take her home and do
in the privacy of of I don't know, or like
use your words right right? Why did we have to down?
The visuals on this are just incredible? So so no

(06:48):
item on the table was safe and sounds.

Speaker 2 (06:50):
Like, I mean, she wasn't even you weren't even across
the I tied.

Speaker 1 (06:55):
With my tongue.

Speaker 4 (06:55):
Oh girl, yeah, this man all right, you give grace
to the man with the kink about the breast milk,
but this man gets it pass, you know, like you're going.

Speaker 1 (07:08):
So hard on him. He was just trying to show
off his skills. So he's okay, Yes.

Speaker 4 (07:13):
So let's be protected at all times.

Speaker 1 (07:15):
We need to appreciate me and like this, I see
all right, So it depends on what the kink is.
In this case, the man might be very talented, so
he so bad. Yeah, no, it's it's a little cool.
It's early, but yeah, I don't know if I've never
known a man to be able to do that. I
don't know I've ever known a man that can tie it.

(07:37):
Can you? Uh, I've never tried. But my brother in
law can I know that? Oh? How do you? How
do you know that? Hold on what fashions? And he
always does it with the stem. His name is Adam Guy.

Speaker 2 (08:00):
Yeah.

Speaker 1 (08:00):
Oh he's cute too, ye though, yeah, let him in law.
So you were turned off, samra by this this constant
sort of demonstration of I mean, he thought he was
showing you his prowess and like what what he was
going to do later And you're just saying I would
just want to kind of eat my club sandwich and

(08:21):
like yeah and drink my old fashion without you sticking
your tongue in it fishing stuff out. Yeah, it was
just a little too much for me.

Speaker 6 (08:31):
On the like this first day, I just it felt
pushy like he was coming on too strong and I
didn't even really know much so intense. It's like, you know,
maybe later, but it was just off putting.

Speaker 1 (08:47):
Yeah, all at once, right, Adam, I don't know. I
think sometimes yes, I was just going to say that
sometimes less is more at him, you know, or maybe
better that bumble. Okay, he's a giver, and it's it's
your loss, he said, Samara.

Speaker 5 (09:04):
Just in case you're wondering, sure number find the right match.

Speaker 1 (09:09):
You might get born one night and want to get
him a ring. See what he's you know, take it
for a spin. But anyway, that's your right to do that, Adam,
I guess she's not interested right now. But a man
like Yeah, have you ever heard a song by Sabrina
Carpenter called Taste.

Speaker 6 (09:26):
It?

Speaker 1 (09:27):
That's this is the man who drives the sam cab
and takes it. He drives the sad cab to the
Saven cabin. Yeah, as long as there's that's why he
listens to George Cherry's there, he's he's good to go.
He can do his party tricks. Waiting for him over there.

Speaker 4 (09:40):
Yeah, Adam, you are right, we'll meet, Okay.

Speaker 1 (09:43):
I think he went from disgusting to now. Hold on,
hold on, Yeah, you're a You're a hero, Adam, You're
a hero to many. Don't you change a thing, my friend. Guys,
good luck to both of you. I don't even know
what to say. I really don't. This is two in
a row where I'm somewhat speechless at the end. Good

(10:04):
luck to you, both of you.

Speaker 4 (10:05):

Speaker 2 (10:05):
