Ever been left waiting by the phone. It's the Fred Show. Nathan,
Good morning, welcome to the program. How are you.

Speaker 2 (00:10):
Hey, good morning, doing great?

So, what's going on with this this woman? Lana?

Speaker 4 (00:15):
Uh?

Speaker 1 (00:16):
Tell us what's up? How you guys? Mad about any
dates you've been on? And then you know how we
can help you. Yeah.

Speaker 3 (00:21):
So I met Lana at the gym. You know, we
hit it off, so I asked her out. We went
on date, went out for drinks, things got a little flirty,
so we ended up back in my place and that's.

Speaker 2 (00:41):
Pretty much it. I mean, I'm not really sure what happened.
She left really soon after she got to my house,
and yeah, that's it. I'm I'm tried texting her, I
even tried calling, which I don't usually do, and she
hasn't answered me, and I'm roscher what happened?

Speaker 5 (01:00):
All right?

Speaker 1 (01:01):
So it's usually a good sign when the date goes
well enough that you wind up at somebody's house afterwards.
The alarming part, I suppose is that she left so
quickly and you have no idea why.

Speaker 2 (01:09):
Yeah, no idea. I don't know what's going on, Okay.

Speaker 1 (01:12):
And then since then you've reached out as you mentioned,
and she hasn't responded at all, and you know that's
bothered some because you had a great date and you
were excited and you want to see her again. And
dating is hard, and when you feel something for somebody,
it's like, man, I you know, maybe I found something
here and I feel people are so their attention is
so divided with you know, the dating apps and all
the different matches and all the different things going on.

It's like, man, this is frustrating. But that's where we
come in. We're going to call Laana. You'll be on
the phone at the same time. We're going to ask
some questions on your behalf. At some point you're welcome
to jump in on the call. And the hope here
is that we can straighten out whatever's going on and
set you guys up on another date that we pay for.

Hey Lona, good morning. My name is Fredam calling for
the Fred Show, the morning radio show, and I have
to tell you that we are on the radio right

the call. Can we chat for just a second on
the show. Oh yeah, okay, well, thank you very much.
I know it's kind of weird to get a call
like this, but we'll get right to it. We're calling
on behalf of a guy who I guess you met
at the gym. His name is Nathan. Do you remember Nathan?

Speaker 5 (02:27):
Oh? Yeah, yeah, yeah I do.

Okay, see now there, Oh, I mean you can always
tell like when this is not. So. This guy Nathan
called us Lana, and he said that he met you
at the GM and he liked you and asked you out.
You guys went out. He thought the date went well.
He says, you guys went back to his place, but
then you left kind of abruptly, and that he hasn't
gotten any kind of reply or response from you since

the day. He feels like he's being ghosted. So is
that what's going on?

Speaker 5 (02:56):
I mean, yeah, yeah, it's gist of this.

So why why are we ghosting because he doesn't seem
to know.

Okay, well, basically, yeah, we met at jim I'd been
checking him out. He's super cute and yeah, we got
drinks that was really fun and they're reviving. So like
we went back to his place. That's just like kind
of where things changed for me because like, so we

got back to his place and he completely changed his
voice and started yelling like I didn't even want to
do the voice, but he was like, Miss Sparkle girl,
where aren't.

Speaker 2 (03:40):

Just doing like a total like baby voice. And then
like these smallest teak up to our wive ever seen
in my life came running out wearing like a full
outfit pink sutoo a taher with.

Speaker 6 (03:58):
Belvawn what so he's yeah, he's got some kind of
like uh like teacup little dog, she said, a teacup too,
like a tailed dog.

Speaker 1 (04:11):
And her name is miss Sparkle girl. Well, now hold on,
I don't have a problem with the voice. By the way, No,
I don't you know that this this did we go
on a date? Because it sounds like something I would do.
So is miss Farner girl? Is that what it was?

Speaker 3 (04:27):
Like?

Yeah, And it was describe the outfit though, like, so
the dog has an outfit so far I don't hate this, yeah.

I mean it was like like a pink too too
and like a little pincture with burkle belt on it
that like boring.

When she ran he was kind of cute. Let me
bring Nathan in the father. Did miss sparkle girl? How did?
How does it tell me a little more? How it like,
if Miss sparkle Girl were here, how would you call her?
How would you call her to us?

Let's sparkle girl. That's pretty much what I say.

I mean, are you sure? Yeah, he's a little high.

And she's got a little she had little outfits? Is

Yea, we have Yeah, we have a few outfits, like
you know, I switch it up throughout the week.

Or was this? Was it your choice to own the
dog on the planet?

Yeah, it's my choice, like like okay, So a lot
of the issue here is that he has a tiny
dog and speaks to the tiny dog likes it like this.

I mean, is that that's that's enough for you?

I mean yeah, honestly, just like it gave me the egg,
like you're a grown man?

a little too too? And so what are you saying?
This wasn't like you meet the guy at the gym
and he's super masculine and stuff, and then you found

I mean, yeah, pretty much, it was just sort of
like not what I expected and not really what I'm into.

I mean, but I don't know, have you ever seen
like a masculine guy, you know, really fawn over like
his young daughter or a niece or something. Because I
don't I come. I think people think I'm sort of
dead inside and then they see me with Polly, and
I you know, I sort of transform into something different,
which I don't know that people would find unattractive. So

Yeah, I mean, I guess it's just like a little
dog a totu that just like really was a little
bit too much for me.

I've ever I mean, I understand it's a little strange,
but this is not the worst thing I've ever heard.
Like the guy loves his dog, uh and you know
I'm an animal guy, so well, Miss Sparkle Girl. I
mean it's a little it was a little unexpected. I
would assume, yeah, but I mean what that was just

You know, I go home with this man from the
gym and out comes Miss Sparkle Girl and I'm like,
where her mom?

that he dressed her this way.

And that would be like just curious, like caitlin X
was this with an ex like where where did Miss
Sparkle Girl come in the picture?

And do you have room for me in your life?
Because it seemed like Miss Sparkle Girl is well taken
care of it. I don't mean if you want to
wear a to right, I don't wear any problems with

Given that you're jealous of Miss Sparkle Girl, That's what
I'm hearing now. I'm you're afraid that there's not room
in his life. Because of how much he loves miss
It sounds like you're already competing with Miss Sparkle Girl.

Like, now that you've heard that Lana is not on
board with Miss Sparkle Girl, I mean that's got to
be a turnoff for you, I assume.

I mean, yeah, definitely, Like if you don't like my dog,
then it's obviously not going to work. But it's it
shouldn't be any indication that I can't take care of
you or that, like I you know that I have
like anything going on with an X or anything like that.

It's just my dog. I mean we've heard so much
of her. We thrust her up, yes.

I mean he trusses his dog up, So it's obviously yeah.

All right, So I mean, Lana, do you would you
give another shot? I don't even know if Nathan wants
to go out with you now, but would you give
another chance to hang out with that? Maybe you know,
you and Miss Sparkle Girl can try and bond or something.

like it's not you know, maybe if she was really
