Speaker 1 (00:00):
It's the thread show.

Speaker 2 (00:01):
This is what's trending a bunch of texts now, although
now we're getting bid ideas too. You should look up
the citizenship test and see how much everyone actually knows
done it.

Speaker 1 (00:13):
But thank you. I appreciate it.

Speaker 2 (00:15):
Yeah, we have.

Speaker 1 (00:15):
You got your citizenship.

Speaker 3 (00:17):
No, I've done it with you. You got a citizenship
at birth. My mom did it, so I kind of
remember that era of first No, we've.

Speaker 1 (00:29):
Done that bit before though.

Speaker 2 (00:31):
Yeah, let me see you here. You can use a
can opener, or you're supposed to use a can opener
from the the side, not the top, so cutting it
like a like a lit huh. Okay, pants zippers have
a lock on them, they.

Speaker 1 (00:52):
Do, yeah, it says I looked it up.

Speaker 4 (00:54):
Simply push put the zipper in the downward position in
a lock in place.

Speaker 1 (01:00):
Jason Brown, Oh, let me try that. I thought he's
always down. No, but I thought it was some purpose.
Yeah it is. But now y'all got me. I thought
you had the zipper removed when you bought pasts. Pass
for just gets in a way of every today years old.

Speaker 2 (01:19):
When you find out that people have fully developed knee
caps between ten and twelve years old, yeah, I think
I did know that. Mmm, no number before one thousand
has an A in it. Huh okay, hmmm anyway, Oh

(01:40):
I was. I was the other day, years old when
I found out that you can pull up who you've
been texting my opening and blank text and type being
a period. Yes, you're welcome that Paulina taught you that
you're very welcome for that. Happy to be here for you. Yeah,
we do provide people with some level of utility. I swear, well, guys,
I gotta tell you some a lot of text this morning.

(02:02):
I think it's starting to happen again.

Speaker 4 (02:06):
Yeah, welcome back to school case.

Speaker 1 (02:10):
Honestly, I've never ever ever.

Speaker 2 (02:15):
Wanted a teacher to go back to work more in
my I'm sorry, if you're driving to work, I know
your teacher like, just oh my god, please please.

Speaker 1 (02:25):
We may as well turn the lights off.

Speaker 2 (02:26):
The last month, I mean, maybe we did reveal you
were going on Friday. We were like commercials were playing
in the middle of the song. We didn't and we
need to know are you telling them because we wasn't
because we didn't do it.

Speaker 1 (02:38):
I know that's right, we didn't do it. We didn't
do it.

Speaker 2 (02:41):
Some engineer Fairy dropped down.

Speaker 1 (02:45):
I don't know what the hell happened.

Speaker 5 (02:47):
Okay, that's what someone who did it would, except.

Speaker 2 (02:52):
No, I got it. I got Keith Morrison, we got
Daylight in here. We investigated. It wasn't us. We didn't
do it, did not do it. I mean I pushed
the wrong but almost every day I do it. But
like this, there's no way to do.

Speaker 1 (03:03):
What happened. That was level.

Speaker 2 (03:05):
So it really wouldn't surprise me because we were gonna
get ready to do this showdown and I'm like, call now,
and zero people call, and I'm like, oh my god,
Like truly, there were zero people listening, like zero.

Speaker 1 (03:17):
Turned out we were in commercials the whole time. We
didn't even know it.

Speaker 2 (03:19):
We didn't know yeah anyway, But they didn't want me
to tell you that because they figured that you would
then say and it wouldn't have happened if you were here,
but you would have been sitting your ass here just
like the rest of us.

Speaker 1 (03:28):
It would have had no idea.

Speaker 2 (03:33):
I mean, as embarrassing as that is, it was the
relief of my life to realize that, oh no, they
just couldn't hear us.

Speaker 5 (03:39):
I mean, we may or may not have needed to
drink after the show.

Speaker 1 (03:43):
Okay, I may or may not have started drinking during.

Speaker 4 (03:45):
The show to curl up in the corner into the.

Speaker 1 (03:49):
I couldn't because we didn't know. Yeah, we didn't know.
We were laughing. Heard my pollypop story. Oh it's some
of the best radio we've ever done. You guys weren't impressed.
But nobody, we don't worry. Nobody heard it.

Speaker 2 (04:03):
So it was. It was fantastic. Jason Brown, is this
is this going to be tomorrow? Going to be the
final Olympics?

Speaker 1 (04:09):
Uptorn? Please? This is it?

Speaker 2 (04:10):
This is it? Oh my god. Closing ceremonies were last night.
And I saw Tom Cruise, you know, jump off the
roofs of what I saw?

Speaker 1 (04:18):
That cool? Yeah?

Speaker 2 (04:20):
But was that?

Speaker 1 (04:21):
Was that so cool? It was so cool. That's when
he jumped off that building. He just jumped off the
structure and you know, got on his motorcycle.

Speaker 2 (04:30):
I mean, was he gonna is he gonna ride all
the way back to Los Angeles that we're supposed to believe?

Speaker 1 (04:34):
No, he jumped on a big He jumped on a
big plane. He rode the motorcycle into a jumbo jet
or whatever. Forgive me.

Speaker 2 (04:39):
I stopped watching him almost immediately, but yeah, pretty.

Speaker 1 (04:43):
Cool after that. He's skydive. He skydived?

Speaker 2 (04:48):
Uh huh, Well that's a good question, actually, I h
he is it.

Speaker 1 (04:54):
I will give him this. He's a real pilot.

Speaker 2 (04:56):
He's a real like like aerobatic pilot, a real jet pilot.
He he's a real skydiver. I give him a lot
of credit. You know, he does do a lot of
this stuff himself. Now why he needs to do that,
I don't know, but you know whatever, I guess when
you're rich and you're a robot, then that's going to
happen to you.

Speaker 1 (05:11):
Yeah, so his face is giving robots it is?

Speaker 2 (05:15):
It is?

Speaker 1 (05:16):
It is. That's a different face. Yeah, it's like fake
when the different on this upside the side you'll see.
But hey, I think he's one hundred and nine, so
he looks pretty good for that.

Speaker 6 (05:29):
And he's jumping off buildings and he's still jumping off
buildings scientology man.

Speaker 5 (05:32):
Yeah, no, man on his face though, because I heard
the repelling was going to be a sun double.

Speaker 6 (05:36):
Yeah, so they zoomed in on his face right before
they like did this pan over him before he jumped
in as he was jumped, falling or whatever.

Speaker 1 (05:44):
They were closed.

Speaker 2 (05:44):
It was his Okay, yeah it was yet he did
I give I give him credit. He does do a
lot of this stuff himself. I've ever seen. Just a
side note, when James Corden had his show, they used
to do some funny bits together, like going flying and
then it was skydiving and they were funny to because
Tom does all this stuff and James up course doesn't,
and so it was good. All right, I'm a little sad,

(06:07):
but take it away. Jason went the final Olympic up tem.

Speaker 6 (06:09):
Yeah, I mean I want to use this time to
talk about Jordan Childs because I'm really upset by this
whole thing. Have you guys seen this debauchery that is
happening with her? So with she won her first solo
medal when she did the floor exercise, and that was
the time when they did the bowing to Rebecca from
Brazil because like she got first and Simone got second

(06:32):
and Jordan got third. Well I guess I didn't know this,
but after you finish your routine and you get your score,
you have sixty seconds for your coach to go up
and say you scored that wrong or something's wrong whatever.
Basically like dispute the score you got oh wow, well yeah,
so I guess like they messed up on her difficulty score,
so she was supposed to be like fifth, So then

(06:55):
her coach went and said no, like whatever appealed it,
and that bumped her up to third. Well, then I
guess whoever was fourth and fifth or any other other
countries were like, no, she didn't do it in her
sixty seconds. She did it in one minute and four
seconds or whatever. So then like the judges looked at
it and then said that that Jordan had to turn

(07:15):
her medal back in because she was four seconds over.

Speaker 1 (07:18):
I'd run, I take them out, just try and find me.

Speaker 6 (07:23):
Now she's like so upset because that was her first
solo medal. She like got off social media. She's like,
I'm taking a break whatever. But then I guess there's
some new video that is saying that the coach did
it in forty seven seconds, So now there's like even
more of a dispute going on.

Speaker 2 (07:37):
We found video after the fact that proves that twice
forty seven and fifty five seconds, so supposedly the coach
engaged twice within the time period, so everything should be okay.

Speaker 1 (07:48):
So now hope supposed.

Speaker 6 (07:49):
It's okay, But it's like, really like, why wouldn't if
you're gonna do anything, why don't you just give medals
to those third.

Speaker 1 (07:54):
Or five two girls to take it away? Like that's
so well stupid.

Speaker 4 (07:59):
In the fact is like when she got her original
score came out like it was she was in fifth place,
and the girl that one third place in the Romanian
girl was celebrating like I got third, yeah, yeah, yeah,
and then her drug and then her coach went and
they adjusted the score, and then Jordan got third, and
then this other girl sitting there crying because she thought
she got third. So they should just give them all
bronze medals at the end instead of taking it away.

Speaker 2 (08:21):
I also saw the controversy of speaking of bronze medals
over the weekend. At the bronze medals are not holding
up well, they're like rusting already or something. Wow, I
got a rusty bronze metal. It's already rusting.

Speaker 1 (08:32):
God anyway, So yeah, you know I could do our
final medal count? Yeah please?

Speaker 6 (08:36):
So we have the most medals one hundred and twenty
six total medals United States, go US. And then we
tied with China for the most gold we each have forty.

Speaker 1 (08:44):
Okay, did you watch break Dancing? I did.

Speaker 2 (08:47):
Yeah, we're gonna get to that. We're gonna get to
break dancing. We got to talk about break dancing a second.

Speaker 1 (08:52):
I'm changed.

Speaker 2 (08:53):
And women's basketball one gold. The women's basketball was wild
at the end because that girl made a crazy shot
at the end in France, but just tied or is
it France to France because they both played for this
and then just she made it, but it was only
good for two, so they lost by one. Women's soccer
one that was awesome. I watched a lot of Olympics
this weekend. I didn't realize how it pumped up a

(09:14):
lot of the running. The running, the running is insane,
and then my wonky ass goes it, gets all motivated
and goes on the treadmill, looks like an idiot, Like
I don't look anything like those people when I run.
And why do you got to put merors in the gym?
I think I understand why I learned this for form,
so you can see what you look like when you're
doing it.

Speaker 1 (09:34):
But I don't.

Speaker 2 (09:34):
There's certain stuff I don't need to see myself doing
running is one of them. It doesn't look good. It
doesn't look anything like those people. It doesn't look anything
like them. It would start with me being twice their size,
but other than that, it doesn't look anything like them.
You have four years, yeah, four years to improve well
and next toe we's trending this morning is that the
LA Olympics are next at least for the Summer Olympics,

(09:55):
and they're going carless. So by the time twenty twenty
eight along, they're saying there will be no cars at
the LA Olympics. Everybody will have to use various forms
of public transportation. They're going to bring in thousands of
buses from neighboring cities and states to help make that happen.
The lofty planel cost a billion dollars anyway, So and

(10:18):
by the way, the entire Paris Games ten billion with
a b is how much it cost. Breaking was on
the Olympics scene for the first time and an Australian
girl named Rachel Gunn aka Raygun was mocked online for
a performance. So Raygun is what I guess people call her.
She scored zero points as she truck zero and she

(10:40):
tried to wow the audience with a kangaroo dance, among
other moves, but Gunn told ESPN that she has no
qualms about the performance. She said, I was never going
to beat these girls on what they do best, their
power moves. What I bring is creativity. Creativity is really
important to me. I go out there and I show
my artistry. Sometimes it speaks to the judges and sometimes
it doesn't. I do my thing and it represents art.

(11:02):
That's what it is about. Yeah, so the ladies got
a PhD in break dancing. Well it wasn't.

Speaker 5 (11:10):
Technically, it was like movement or something like some sort
of technical term. But yeah, no, that was I'm chanting.

Speaker 2 (11:16):
That performers were scored based on the various combinations of
dance moves as a DJ plays music. Japan won gold
and Lithuania won silver. China I got a rusty bronze.

Speaker 1 (11:29):
A bronze too as well.

Speaker 2 (11:31):
Somebody said, can we talk about Australian break dancing? Haha,
never mind, See, I'm on it. Don't worry, guys, I
really do like try and research and pay attention. Sometimes
the perseied meteor shower is going to peak tonight, so
you might want to pull on all nighter tonight. If
you are in for one of the best media showers

(11:52):
this year, which Calinus is, seed right up.

Speaker 1 (11:54):
Your ally it is.

Speaker 5 (11:55):
I wish we didn't get up early, because then I
would pull on all nighter. Maybe I'll get up early.
I think you got to some places pretty dark to
see it. Well, right, it began peaking last night last
until overnight tomorrow. The medior shower is expected to contain
up to one hundred meteors traveling at more than one
hundred and thirty three thousand miles an hour. We're thirty
six miles a second. NASA says the best time to
view the meteor shower is around two am. The celestial

(12:17):
event is visible annually from mid July to September.

Speaker 1 (12:22):
First.

Speaker 2 (12:24):
This is actually more common than you might think. But
I'm not sure how it happened, but it's a viral story.
This morning, a flight from San Francisco Mound for Jackson Hole, Wyoming,
was rerouted to Salt Lake City. When the pilot announced
that he wasn't qualified to land, the plane stop.

Speaker 1 (12:40):
I just don't know how this happened.

Speaker 2 (12:42):
Passengers prepared for landing, and then the pilot says, hey,
I'm really sorry, folks, but due to me not having
the proper qualification to land in Jackson Hole, we have
to divert to Salt Lake City. Will keep you posted
on next steps. They then did that. Another pilot got
on the plane and flew them. It is a complicated airport.
It has tricky approaches. It's really really high. But what

(13:03):
I don't know in elevation. But what I don't understand
is how like that even happened. Like even if the
airline messed up and send somebody who because you have
you have to have special training, maybe that everybody has it. Okay,
so this guy didn't get the special training. Okay, that's fine,
so he can't do it. Well, then he know he
didn't get the whole time, is he like, don't tell
anybody I'm gonna land in Jackson. I mean, like, how

(13:25):
did when he saw that on his schedule and he
realized he couldn't do it, why did he say something
to someone like, hey, I'm gonna try anyway, okay, right,
Like I just I don't know I do this right, right,
I guess I just I don't know how that happened.
But I think Aspen is like that Jackson whole few
feudals airports. You need special training to land there. There's

(13:46):
what what is that one that's really wild that you
see all the videos of Saint barth I think it
is just like a big hill. No, that's you're think
of Saint Martin. Okay, no this one. Go look up
Sam Bart's. It's like a it's like a very short
runway and then there's ocean on literally on one end,
and a hill on the other end, a road and
above the hill. Yeah, and you have to get special

(14:06):
training to land there too. But it's crazy, like basically
you go over the road, you point the airplane down
at the trajectory of the hill, so you basically just
fly over the bottom part of the hill by like
a few feet and then round it out in land.
And if you mess it up then and if you
land too long, then you wind up in the water.
Oh god, yeah, I don't really know about them, so

(14:29):
I just don't know how nobody caught them, Like, oh yeah,
what do you think? Should we just try it?

Speaker 1 (14:33):
Anyway?

Speaker 2 (14:34):
Let's just try it and pink Awen is trending today
featuring pink pink pumpkins, pink pumpkins a few times, fast
skulls and other decorations. That's what we have to look
forward to. That's the trend for this Halloween. Retailers have
expanded the Halloween color scheme for decorations beyond the traditional
orange and black, hence the arrival of pink Aween season.

(14:58):
I think Home Goods is pushing the but you can
get pink Halloween pillows, pumpkins, coffee mugs, pink skulls, pink skeletons,
pink indoor outdoor spider webbing, pink faux neon skeleton lights,
Michael's target.

Speaker 1 (15:14):
They're all on board with this.

Speaker 2 (15:16):
Apparently it's just like that upside down Christmas tree thing again,
or like the pink whether the pink Christmas trees or yeah,
well they were doing something with Christmas trees for a
while that was not Christmas y.

Speaker 1 (15:29):
Yeah, there's always something trending that everybody.

Speaker 2 (15:31):
Thinks because nobody has this, Like, no one has pink
anything Halloween. So you got to go buy it all,
have to, you know, because if your neighbors haven't step, well,
you got to go so that they just keep changing
the colors around every year. Yeah, then you eat, you know,
I don't. I can improvise. If you make it like
more orange one year or more black, I can make
that happen. But pink, who has that? You gotta go

(15:52):
to Target and buy it all. It's National Vinyl Record
Day and National Middle Child Day today as well. The
Entertainment Report will do it with Kaitlin Bloggs waiting by
the phone. It's New All coming up in the next
twenty minutes. Red Show
