Weekly messages about life, faith, and the connection between them.
Jesus tells his disciples that they have enough faith but the results depend on them actually believing that is true. How do we approach faith? Are you willing, as Pastor Paul suggests, to be the one who climbs into the wheelbarrow?

Jesus uses another parable about another rich man to teach about our calling to care for the poor and hungry, the hurting, and our neighbor. We turn away and chasms open that we cannot cross, but God can cross them and offers us forgiveness. How do you do at paying attention to those in need around you?

Jesus tells us that we can't serve God AND money. So Pastor Paul invites us to consider who and how we are serving. What gets your attention most? And how can we choose love as the best way to serve?

Jesus welcomes sinners and tax collectors and the religious leaders get grumpy about it. His parables talk about things that are lost, and it could be that what these leaders have lost is their own way. Pastor Paul talks about things that are lost and about God's love finding us and welcoming us to the table.

Pastor Paul talks about the neighborhood kids who played hard and often showed up for lunch for the pbj's he'd make them. What follows is a great reminder that God welcomes all of us to the table (even if we don't deserve it).

Assistant to the Bishop, The Rev. Dr. Derek Hoven, is our guest preacher this week. Pastor Derek got some new glasses, and that got him thinking about the lenses we use every day to view the world around us and the people we meet. How is God's work of grace, freely given, understood through our lenses? This and more in this week's episode.

One of the most prevalent themes in scripture is God telling God's people "do not be afraid." 365 times this theme is addressed in the Bible! What does that mean for us and how does it apply today? Pastor Paul talks about fear and our response in this week's message.
Does Jesus not want us to have any stuff? Well, that's an oversimplification of the parable. In this week's message, Pastor Paul talks about stuff and about how the attitudes we have about stuff affect our relationship with God. The ultimate goal, put God first and in doing so we are called to build longer tables to feed the ones how are hungry, instead of building a bigger barn to store our excess.
Jesus sends out the 70 to let people know that the Kingdom of God has come near. We are called to do the same by the witness of our lives. Psalm 66 invites us to "come and see the works that God has done" and our gift is to share that experience with the world. But we are afraid, right? In this week's message, Pastor Paul tries to provide some context and perhaps some motivation, to share our story and invite others.
This week we celebrate the 4th of July and the freedoms won over time. In this week's message, Pastor Paul talks about true freedom, a more important freedom, that informs everything else about how we live.

Jesus casts demons out of a man. The demons beg for mercy and are sent into a herd of pigs and drown. But what about the man after he is made whole? There's a lot going on in this week's gospel text and Pastor Paul walks us through the meaning then and now. Thanks for listening!

On Good Shepherd Sunday we hear the reading about Jesus' encounter with religious leaders who want him to tell them plainly that he is or is not the messiah. Jesus tells them that he has been telling them through all of the work he has done in his Father's name, but they missed it. In this message, Pastor Paul challenges us not to miss it and lays out a summer long challenge of God Spotting.
In this message, Pastor Paul talks about Star Wars (hey, it was May the Fourth!) to help us think about the importance of Saul's encounter with Jesus and his conversion. Saul becomes Paul and is 100% on team Jesus. The rest, as they say, is history. So how do we encounter Jesus in our lives? Why does that matter? Listen to find out!
Memories! We make them all the time. In today's message for Easter, Pastor Paul talks about memories and the importance of them for Jesus' early followers, the women, who came to the tomb to find it empty. Christ is risen indeed!
