Al Rawiya | The Podcast

For the past few decades, the ruling class in Lebanon gathered around each other, and determined a future for Lebanon that fed their own interests. As they spoke about matters concerning the general public, they worked hard at excluding opposing voices to maintain the status quo. With voices of dissent rising again across different mediums, why not reclaim our role in conversations that shape our future? This podcast season aims to explore the different changes Lebanon has experienced in the past few decades, with a focus on how major events such as the economic crisis, landmark local cases, and shifting global political dynamics have affected the current state of things. Intent on making these conversations inclusive of all communities in Lebanon, we tackle different socioeconomic matters in society from a multi-perspective angle. Welcome to Al Rawiya, the Podcast.
