Speaker 1 (00:00):
It's Earthday. What y'all gonna do on Earth Day? Just
I'm just asking for a friend. What y'all planning to do.
You're gonna plant a tree, You're gonna get out out
in the yard, what you're gonna do? Just wondering. I'm
just I'm just being nosy. Just want to know because
it is Earth Day, and I.
Speaker 2 (00:19):
Don't you know what.
Speaker 1 (00:23):
I hate to see it, but I ain't really into
Earth Day like that. I think there are a lot
of people that's not into it. But but but but
but but let me be clear, there are some people
that are into it. They want to save the planet,
save a tree, and I'll hug a tree and all
(00:43):
of that. So, hey, I ain't knocking it till I tried.
I might need to try hugging. I'm not hugging no tree,
but I might need to plant a tree. Have I
ever done that before? I don't think I've ever done that. Yeah,
mm hmm, Yeah, I'm gonna. I'm gonna do something for
(01:05):
Earth Day. To day, I'm gonna go out and buy
me a purse. I don't know if you're supposed to
do that for Earth Day, but it's my way of contributing. Okay,
I'm just messing with y'all. But anyway, today, no, I'm serious.
I am gonna buy me a bag. I gotta get
another backpacks. My backpack is raggedy. I gotta get another one.
(01:26):
But it is Earth Day today, so and they do
encourage you to do certain things, you know, like you know,
planting a tree, doing something outside in the yard, gardening.
Speaker 2 (01:35):
Uh, maybe cleaning up.
Speaker 1 (01:37):
Trash, you know, stuff like that, helping the planet, help
us all breathe better. You need to breathe around here
and shout out to them grizzlies. I hope and pray
that tonight is a better night than Sunday night, because
they got the breaks beat off of them Sunday night.
They're gonna be okay. I think the Grizzlies will be okay.
(01:57):
I think, hey, it happens. Whatever happened with them, that
this bad Sunday night happened. They fifty one points one
points oh even. I mean, they were giving Jaron Jackson
the business on social media.
Speaker 2 (02:12):
They was like what was he doing? Why was he.
Speaker 3 (02:16):
Not?
Speaker 1 (02:18):
You know what I'm saying. And then Jaren had to apologize.
He's like, hey, let me take accountability for my actions.
I didn't get in there and play like I you know,
was he he hit like four points? I think it
was something like that. His stats that night were bad.
But doesn't everybody have an off night? Even comedians say
that they have off nights.
Speaker 2 (02:38):
You know what I'm saying, that's what they say. So hey, hey, hey,
well yeah, that's going on.
Speaker 1 (02:50):
Kanye West. I did want to say a little bit
about Kanye. Kanye posted some disturbing stuff and a few
people sent it to me yesterday. You know what he
posted on social media and I saw somebody saying that
he needed help, and I was thinking, yeah, he really
brut need help bad. But yeah, he posted some things
(03:13):
about I guess I could say childhood trauma, some stuff
that he went through when he was a kid.
Speaker 2 (03:20):
And it's kind of.
Speaker 1 (03:22):
Heartbreaking, you know, to see somebody break down like that
in the public's eye like that.
Speaker 2 (03:28):
You know, Tracey Morel said it to me, Hey.
Speaker 1 (03:30):
Tracy, it's heartbreaking to see that with Kanye West and
what he said. I'm not gonna repeat it. You probably
already know if you've if you you know, if you
google it or heard about it. He probably heard about
what he said, but you know some ancestual childhood trauma
that he went through, and it made me think, and
I said this today on the other station. You know,
when I started going to therapy years ago, I remember
(03:55):
my therapist saying, and I talked to other people who said,
if what you don't deal with, the trauma that you
don't deal with when you're young, if you don't deal
with it at some point in your life, it will
deal with you. Let me let me say that again.
Put the people in back, the trauma that you go
(04:19):
through when you're young, if you don't get help and
go to therapy, get help as soon as possible to
get you through that. Because trauma affects your brain and
if if it affects a whole lot, you know what
I'm saying, And if you don't get help for that,
(04:40):
if you don't deal with it, what you don't deal with.
Speaker 2 (04:44):
Will eventually deal with you.
Speaker 1 (04:48):
And to me, when I saw this with Kanye, I said, Okay,
his trauma's dealing with him that day.
Speaker 2 (04:56):
It'll do it.
Speaker 1 (04:59):
So that's all I got to say about that right there.
But I hope, I do hope and pray that he
gets the help that he needs. Because he is literally,
in my opinion, crying out for help.
Speaker 2 (05:12):
That's what he's doing.
Speaker 1 (05:14):
Yeah, so there's a video let me give you catch
you up on Carmelo Anthony, remember the kid that did
the teen accused of fatally stabbing a fellow track runner.
Speaker 2 (05:25):
His family.
Speaker 1 (05:26):
They've moved to an undisclosed location for safety reasons, Okay,
and the judge did approve this where it is. I'm
not sure exactly when they move. It had to be
in the last couple of days. According to reports, Anthony
and his family have been receiving death threats and disturbing
mail while strangers gathered outside of their home taking pictures.
The court approved the relocation, and it came just days
(05:49):
after Anthony was released on bond and placed on house
arrest with that ankle monitor. Meanwhile, Judge Angela Tucker, who
reduced Anthony's bond from one million to two hundred fifty thousand,
it's also under protection after receiving death threats as well. Yeah,
so just wanting to give you an update on that,
But a couple of things I wanted to talk to
(06:11):
you about today and see what you think about it.
So there's a video that's going viral on social media.
Y'all tell me what you think about this if you'd
like to. Oh, my goodness, ain't one thing or something else.
So let me let me kind of tell the story
best way I know how, because I want to play
the video for you, but I'm gonn check it to
(06:32):
see if there's if I can, if it's safe to play, Beau,
is there some cuss.
Speaker 2 (06:35):
Words in it?
Speaker 1 (06:37):
Imagine your your husband passes away, okay, and you're at home,
you and your kids, y'all aggrieving, and you know, just
just you know, you're.
Speaker 2 (06:50):
Dealing with life.
Speaker 1 (06:51):
You know, you're doing that all the things that you
do after something like that happens. And you at home
and the side piece knocks on your door and you
come outside and she says, I came to get the stuff.
Speaker 2 (07:13):
That I gave him.
Speaker 1 (07:16):
You like, huh, you triggered down because your husband is gone,
and you're like, ma'am, if you don't get away from
my door, she says no, because I guess the side
piece thought that he ghosted her. He didn't well, I
(07:38):
guess kind of maybe he died, and I guess she
didn't know.
Speaker 2 (07:42):
The side piece didn't know.
Speaker 1 (07:43):
So she shows up at the house to get her belongings,
that stuff that she had given to him, which really
don't belong to you no more if you gave.
Speaker 2 (07:51):
It hum anyway, honey.
Speaker 1 (07:56):
So the wife is like, ma'am, if you don't leave,
She did not want to leave, so I guess maybe
she didn't want to leave because she didn't believe them.
And then the daughter comes out, and the daughter was
like going to put them hands on her, and so
she backs up.
Speaker 2 (08:09):
And she leaves. But I'm like, what what are people
thinking nowadays? Why would you go to that? All of
this was.
Speaker 1 (08:17):
Caught by their their home video, you know, the ring
camera by the way, so they were recording it.
Speaker 2 (08:25):
I guess, you know, just to put it out there.
Speaker 1 (08:27):
But I guess once it happened, they somebody put it
out there. I don't know who put it out there,
but somebody put it out there. So the husband wasn't
there because yeah, he passed away. The wife comes to
the door in disbelief that her deceased husband's side piece
could be so bold.
Speaker 2 (08:43):
She's like, what so at any rate.
Speaker 1 (08:49):
Just just a crazy story telling her to, you know, leave,
She didn't want to leave. The daughter comes out and
finally she starts to leave while uh protesting yet uh
conveniently walking backwards. The side piece started, you know, making
her way down the driveway, and the woman says, my
husband is dead. You got what you wanted, which was
(09:10):
whatever y'all were doing when he was alive. I'm saying
it in a nice way. Yeah, what would you have
done in a situation like that? How would you handle
something like that? It's kind of a tough question to
ask because, unfortunately, it's probably something that other people have
(09:34):
gone through.
Speaker 2 (09:38):
It's probably something other people have gone through, you know
what I'm saying.
Speaker 1 (09:41):
How bold can you be to go to somebody's house?
Speaker 2 (09:44):
Who does that? Who does that? Yep? These people nowadays?
Speaker 1 (09:53):
Yeah, you better take a lesson out of the Shannon
Sharp book.
Speaker 2 (09:58):
So I'm learning.
Speaker 1 (09:59):
I'm trying to figure out this whole Shannon Sharp situation.
Shannon Sharp was dating a white girl, and I think
from what I'm reading, I'm trying to read it all
so I can make sure that I don't say anything
wrong on the radio. I think she was eighteen when
they started dating. She's twenty now and she is suing him.
(10:19):
Tony Busby, Like I said in the tea, the same
guy that sued jay Z, that tried to bring jay
Z and Beyonce and all that drama with Diddy, and
jay Z sued him back and won. He's that attorney.
And it seems like maybe it's just me. It seems
like this guy, this is the word on the street
(10:43):
in Hollywood and in that community. They say that he
goes after every black man that comes into any position.
And here's the other thing about that, if not all
of them, not all of them. A lot of them
are innocent, you know, and all that you know, and
(11:04):
maybe some of them are guilty. I don't know. But
so people are playing back. Monique was on Shannon Sharp
show and she was telling him to lead them young
girls alone. So y'all remember when Shannon Sharp is the
tape that went by. That's the girl, the girl that
was on him on the sixth daye all we heard
(11:26):
was the sound. That's the girl that's suing him right now, Okay,
this the young girl. Of course he said he accidentally
did that or whatever. But now they've got video and
all that kind of stuff. Shannon's like, show all the video,
But this, to me is a teachable moment for our
young me.
Speaker 2 (11:47):
You y'all, y'all better listen.
Speaker 1 (11:50):
Shannon Sharp just got a deal, from what we're hearing,
of one hundred.
Speaker 2 (11:53):
Thousand dollars for that podcast Club Shay Shay. Right after.
Speaker 1 (12:01):
He gets all that money, guess who knocks on the door.
Tony Busby and this girl. So there's a tape of
Shannon Sharp talking to the girl, and then they're trying
to say that the tape he's you know, talking mean
or whatever.
Speaker 2 (12:20):
He in my opinion, what I heard the tape, he don't.
He doesn't.
Speaker 1 (12:23):
He's not talking whatever to me. Sound normal to me.
But Shannon Sharp trying to tell you to let it
be a teachable moment for these young people, a lot
of we got a lot of young superstars. Let it
be a teachable moment for you. And then you know,
(12:45):
I heard he was in the race playing and I
ain't gonna lie. I'm not even sure what race playing is.
I'm still trying to figure that one out. I've been
googling it and everything. I'm trying to be what in
the world is race playing? But he Shannon Sharp's attorney
at released some of the text messages that the girl
sent him to show that it was consensual so man,
(13:06):
y'all got to be careful fellas. Fellas, you gotta be careful.
Y'all got some young men out there that's making a
lot of money. Be careful, fellas, because it seems like
we don't live in a day where people want to
work anymore. We live in a day where people want
(13:27):
to file lawsuits so they can come up.
Speaker 2 (13:31):
That's what it seems like to me.
Speaker 1 (13:35):
Yeah, and a lot of people have have, you know,
come in contact with celebrities and done different things. Just
the fire, y'all see what happened to Let me see.
What was the guy's name that was the basketball player
the other day?
Speaker 2 (13:48):
Was Demorrow Rosen? Is that his name?
Speaker 1 (13:52):
He's in the he's in the restaurant and the dude
uh walks up to him with his phone on uh
and and shine the light in his face because he
was getting put out of the restaurant, and so he
put hands on the guy. Yeah, and you know, you
(14:15):
know that dude is gonna file a lawsuit. When I
was looking at the video, it looked like he was
getting put out of the restaurant. He sees him hanging
out there, shines that light in his face and he
just went off like man White then just went off.
It's like people are trying to figure out a way
(14:37):
to upset folks that's got a little change so they
can get what you got.
Speaker 2 (14:44):
You know what I'm saying. We don't want it.
Speaker 1 (14:48):
Last, but not least. My question for today, she wants
to know if she's overreacting. She says she found some
messages between her husband and one of his former female coworkers.
He told her that she was being dramatic and blew
(15:09):
it out of proportion, and apparently nothing physical has happened
between these two, but she wants to know if she's
overreacting or does she have grounds to be upset. She
says she's fairly certain that the woman never responded, but
she found these text messages. Her husband says, do me
(15:30):
a favor, and if you decide to text me, do
it during business hours while I'm at work. My wife
already thinks I love you, so it wouldn't be great
if she saw a text from you on my phone.
So she texts back and says, ooof that feels icky.
I don't want to disrespect her in any way. He
(15:53):
got a text her back. I appreciate that. That's very
decent of you. If I'm being honest, I think the
hardest part of making the decision to leave the hospital
was not knowing when I'd be able to see you next.
Maybe that's silly, but that's the way I feel. I
just really enjoyed hanging out with you at work, and
(16:13):
I'd love to meet up and see you again here
or there if you're up to it. If you're not
up to it, I get it. I don't blame you.
Just give it to me straight. She didn't respond, or
did she and he deleted it?
Speaker 2 (16:34):
Anyway? Is she overreacting?
Speaker 4 (16:38):
Hm?
Speaker 2 (16:40):
Let's get to it.
Speaker 1 (16:41):
Nine oh one five three five, nine three four two
eight hundred and five zero three nine three four two
eight three three five three five nine three four two.
Let me go to these phone line see what y'all
talking about? Or Stormy ta at myw DIA dot com
if you can find me on Instagram, where you can
find me at Facebook and hit me up there as well.
Speaker 2 (16:58):
W DIA Hello.
Speaker 5 (17:01):
Sis, Storman, How you going.
Speaker 2 (17:03):
Brother Norman? I'm fine? How you doing?
Speaker 3 (17:07):
I'm backcastic?
Speaker 2 (17:08):
I know that's right.
Speaker 5 (17:10):
Hey, I have a closure for you.
Speaker 3 (17:12):
Yes, I just saw the breaking news where the school
board has been taken over. Now they've decided it's gonna
send it to the to the governor.
Speaker 5 (17:22):
Now, what do you think about it? What are your
thoughts about this?
Speaker 1 (17:25):
You know, I saw that earlier and I was gonna
bring it up.
Speaker 2 (17:28):
I still don't like it.
Speaker 1 (17:30):
I mean, I never have like the idea of the school,
you know, of them taking over Memphis Shelby County schools.
But at this point, I don't think there's anything to
think about that, honestly, because it looks like it's gonna happen.
And so what do you do? You know what I'm saying,
(17:51):
what what.
Speaker 2 (17:51):
Do we do?
Speaker 1 (17:52):
I mean, what what recourse do we have at this point?
Speaker 5 (17:56):
If you know, we have to follow lawsuits?
Speaker 1 (18:00):
Oh yeah, yeah, I forgot about that.
Speaker 5 (18:05):
I'm hoping.
Speaker 3 (18:07):
We got to get enough people that show some interest.
I just don't think we've had enough people showing interest,
at least on them not allowed to be passed. I
think there are a lot of people who wanted it passed.
I'm just shocked to know that.
Speaker 1 (18:22):
I think there are people that wanted it passed, Brother Norman.
But I also believe that there's a lot of people,
the silent majority that didn't want the state to come
in here and take over.
Speaker 3 (18:33):
Well, you're probably right about that. I just wish they
would speak up or we would get actively involved so
we can, you.
Speaker 6 (18:39):
Know, fight this thing. And as long as they feel.
Speaker 3 (18:42):
Like we don't really care, we don't fight it, that
gives them, you know, in my opinion, it gives them
more authority and makes them believe that we don't care
and they just act and.
Speaker 5 (18:53):
Do what they want to do.
Speaker 3 (18:55):
Well, we concerned, especially with Nashville and up east, think
about Memphis and the west. Down here just doesn't seem
to be much respectful us now here, that's all.
Speaker 2 (19:05):
And that bothers me.
Speaker 3 (19:08):
It bothers me because I don't believe it's about our children.
Speaker 5 (19:10):
I believe it's more about contracts and money.
Speaker 2 (19:12):
Money.
Speaker 5 (19:12):
That's just not thinking.
Speaker 6 (19:14):
Yeah, that's just.
Speaker 1 (19:16):
It don't make sense to some people, don't make Yeah.
Speaker 2 (19:20):
And it's our it's our children for.
Speaker 7 (19:22):
Sale, right exactly.
Speaker 2 (19:27):
Yeah.
Speaker 1 (19:27):
Anyway, than Yeah, thank you brother Norman for calling, and
I appreciate you calling and asking that question.
Speaker 2 (19:34):
Yeah.
Speaker 1 (19:35):
Uh, And it makes me wonder do y'all care? I mean,
I know probably there are people that do care, but
it makes me wonder you know how people feel. I
know a lot of people that listen to the station
or have called and said, hey, they wanted it to happen.
Speaker 2 (19:48):
Well, it looks like it's about to go down, or.
Speaker 1 (19:52):
Will it, because you know it ain't over until it's over.
Like brother Norman said, Hey, lawsuit, Mm hmmm, lawsuit w
D I A hello, Hello Stormy.
Speaker 8 (20:13):
Hey, Hey, I got on quick, baby girl.
Speaker 5 (20:18):
I thought, hey, I love this.
Speaker 6 (20:21):
Hey take you out through them?
Speaker 8 (20:24):
And I hope in God's name is she's still around?
What's that superintendent? Did they try to get ready on
Christmas Day?
Speaker 1 (20:33):
Began?
Speaker 9 (20:35):
Yeah?
Speaker 5 (20:35):
I hope she'd be.
Speaker 8 (20:36):
One of the choices that they choose to be, uh,
you know, over the committee.
Speaker 6 (20:45):
Okay, I hope.
Speaker 8 (20:46):
I hope they pick her Stormy. Okay, I pse nah
they pick herup? Man, I hope she's still in message.
I hope they pick her.
Speaker 10 (20:54):
Man.
Speaker 5 (20:54):
That would be a great thing.
Speaker 2 (20:56):
Well, she's still in Memphis.
Speaker 8 (20:57):
I can tell you that that'll work if you listen.
You listen to superintendent. I hope they pick you baby girl.
Speaker 2 (21:05):
She's not she's not the superintendent nobody.
Speaker 8 (21:09):
Yeah, I wanta talking about I hope they pick up
be on that community. You know, but what is it
nine or ten or whatever.
Speaker 1 (21:17):
It's supposed to I think it's I think it's about
nine people that they're gonna, you know, bring in and yeah, I.
Speaker 2 (21:25):
Mean but bye bye bute budd.
Speaker 1 (21:28):
It may not go through because there's gonna be they're gonna,
they're gonna they're up.
Speaker 2 (21:31):
They're gonna be up against the lawsuit.
Speaker 8 (21:32):
I know that.
Speaker 2 (21:33):
The Yeah, well you.
Speaker 5 (21:35):
Know what against the lawsuit?
Speaker 8 (21:36):
You know whatever, you know, take you the court and
see what see what I've called here? Whees it happened?
I hope she gets picked. But you know, something so
on what's that the young lady that did detection come out?
I hope you know I'm not feeling all this.
Speaker 2 (21:53):
You're talking about, Uh, Wanta Murphys. You're talking about Wanta Murphy.
Speaker 6 (21:57):
Yeah, yeah, but the email or something.
Speaker 1 (22:03):
Of the woman that's a woman to Wanta Murphy, what
are you asking I'm talking about?
Speaker 8 (22:12):
Well, you said should I be jealous of?
Speaker 7 (22:15):
Uh?
Speaker 8 (22:16):
You know I have the right about this? Uh sit
way to do with the text.
Speaker 2 (22:22):
I thought you were.
Speaker 1 (22:22):
Still talking about to Wanna Murphy. I'm sorry, what was
the question again?
Speaker 7 (22:27):
You got me confused?
Speaker 2 (22:28):
I forget you jumped from one subject to another.
Speaker 11 (22:30):
What now, Yeah, I'm talking about what you just got
out when you tie on the phone.
Speaker 2 (22:36):
Okay, yeah, the the letter that I was reading.
Speaker 1 (22:41):
She she her husband was texting a woman on his
job that evidently they liked each other, and maybe he
liked the woman more than the woman liked her. I
don't know, but at any rate, her husband says she's
overreacting because she brought it up and she was not
happy about the fact that there was a text exchange
between the two, And what's.
Speaker 5 (23:06):
Wrong with this?
Speaker 8 (23:07):
Man? Come on, man, you know you like that girl,
and why.
Speaker 6 (23:12):
Does that reason be upset? But that I can't get it.
Speaker 7 (23:16):
I just can't get it.
Speaker 8 (23:18):
Sometimes about y'all winmy y'all just don't want to see
the truth.
Speaker 2 (23:22):
Sometimes us all up in the same category. Don't be
putting us allid man.
Speaker 8 (23:28):
I don't have somebody y'all, Man, we don't want to
see the truth, but it's right there in your face.
Speaker 2 (23:35):
Yeah, but I agree.
Speaker 8 (23:39):
Well, I'm glad that the superintendent. Only glad that school
board is being takeover, and I hope it goes through
and I hope they choose her, that that former superintendent to.
Speaker 5 (23:49):
Be in on the committee. I would love to see that.
Speaker 2 (23:52):
All right, well, thank you, I forgot I appreciate your
calling in. Okay, yeah, a good baby, all right, you too,
you too.
Speaker 1 (24:00):
So it looks like the state appointed advisory Board could
include three members appointed by the governor, two members appointed
by the Speaker of the Senate, two members appointed by
the Speaker of the House of Representatives, the mayor of
the county in which the district is located, or the
county mayor designation.
Speaker 2 (24:21):
So it looks like the Memphis.
Speaker 1 (24:23):
Mayor and Shelby County mayor will get a choice as well.
They'll be putting putting their person on that board as well.
So the Commissioner of the Education or the Commissioner of
Education will be able to recommend the removal of a superintendent,
one or more elected school board members, and convert public
(24:43):
schools into charter schools. According to the Senate version, if
an elected school board member is removed, the local legislative
body will have appointing authority to fill the vacancy. The
individual who fills the vacancy will hold the position until
the next election. According to the Senate version, chid this
(25:05):
is a hot mess. If you ask me a hot mess.
And from what I understand, let me let me tell
you what I what I heard that when they were
drafting this stuff up, Representative Mark White, when he's trying
to draft all this stuff up in the first place,
the attorneys kept sending it back and saying, you.
Speaker 2 (25:20):

Speaker 1 (25:23):
You can't do it's unconstitutional, you can't do that. So
we had to go back, and then they had to

his phone? She would he saw them takes miss seem
she already she already.
Speaker 7 (27:31):
Been the hundred. That's her husband.
Speaker 13 (27:34):
Now that woman might want him, but he ain't going nowhere.
But you go through the phone looking for them in
his phone search.
Speaker 7 (27:43):
Now you're talking about what was you wrong?
Speaker 4 (27:47):
Here?
Speaker 7 (27:47):
Is you wrong with going through his phone? That the wrong?
Speaker 2 (27:52):
Wait a minute, So, so Clyde, let me ask you
a question.
Speaker 1 (27:55):
You wouldn't give your woman the past coach of your
cell phone or to.
Speaker 6 (27:59):
Let her take the phone?
Speaker 7 (28:00):
I like got all of my things colds.
Speaker 13 (28:04):
Okay, cheating on every every cold that gut and my

Speaker 7 (28:14):
I don't have nothing.
Speaker 1 (28:15):
Wait a minute, So why is it okay for your
wife to see your phone?
Speaker 2 (28:18):
But it's not okay for this woman to see.
Speaker 10 (28:20):
Her husband because she she chose on her own to
go in the phone. I ain't got no problem with
mind going to mind, but she chose that. So you
when you.
Speaker 6 (28:32):
Chose tocard that mad phone looking, then.
Speaker 7 (28:34):
Known that you're found what you were looking for.
Speaker 3 (28:37):
M hm.
Speaker 13 (28:38):
So now you got to deal with. See now not
now your now, your head all messed up and there
every time you don't know what you don't read some
pig miss m.
Speaker 7 (28:52):
And when it comes to Shanta Shop, I.
Speaker 6 (28:54):
Don't tell sorry one's phone.
Speaker 5 (28:56):
I don't think girl get what you want out of them?
Speaker 2 (28:58):
Why because I.
Speaker 13 (29:01):
Tell guys all the time, you don't mess with no
woman list she got just as much as you got
a more And the same thing goes for a woman.
You don't met with a man or that he got
just as much to offer you as you got much
to offer him.
Speaker 7 (29:15):
These guys got.
Speaker 13 (29:16):
Money, they go out and get these little girl that
that infatuated with their money and stuff.
Speaker 6 (29:20):
And then all of a sudden.
Speaker 13 (29:23):
When they're coming at you for a loss of something
you know, did now you crying?
Speaker 2 (29:29):
Mm hmm.
Speaker 13 (29:30):
See, but I don't feel Farbytuny Shop.
Speaker 6 (29:34):
There spends another way.
Speaker 7 (29:35):
There's spends another way. You talk about my cowboy.
Speaker 2 (29:40):
By Clyde.
Speaker 1 (29:42):
You know that does raise a question is it okay
for a woman to go through a man's phone? I
think if you married this free game, I don't think
she did anything wrong, you know, she just she saw
the message on his phone.
Speaker 2 (29:59):
So hey, that's just me. W D I A hello,
hellost hey lady. D How you doing.
Speaker 5 (30:10):
I'm doing.
Speaker 14 (30:11):
I'm doing all right, stowing it.
Speaker 3 (30:16):
Number one.
Speaker 14 (30:19):
If you get a phone and I got a phone,
I don't.
Speaker 15 (30:22):
I don't need to lock up my phone.
Speaker 14 (30:24):
I guess what when when the phone rangs, M the
talling my phone, I don't may be asking me that
g phone cause that phone is his and my phone
is nine.
Speaker 5 (30:37):
And if you go looking for something, Black.
Speaker 6 (30:39):
Clyde said, she that what's wrong.
Speaker 14 (30:41):
I ain't gonna looking for nothing. When we were young,
I just lay down the law and told it. If
I walk up on it, it can't nobody to come
tell me nothing, cause I look at it this way.
Hold up, you wouldn't have told me. Yes, j T
was running around with you. See you women sell us
(31:02):
a little thing. You lay down the low, you tell
them what.
Speaker 13 (31:06):
You gonna have, and start to tell you.
Speaker 14 (31:08):
I wish you would come knocking on my door asking
me for some stuff.
Speaker 2 (31:15):
Oh a dead man. I don't even know if you're
telling that you for mine? Right?
Speaker 1 (31:21):
But how you get bold enough to go walk up
to somebody's door in the first did you know she
gonna be she could be dead.
Speaker 13 (31:27):
Yeah, she'd have come to this door.
Speaker 14 (31:29):
She wouldn't have been dead.
Speaker 11 (31:31):
But what's he number one?
Speaker 14 (31:33):
You may if you gonna join together what they said,
let no man, no man go there? Okay, pull him
up if you want me to be your wife, Pull
up your girl friends, pull up your cheese. Because once
we said, I do you know how these women come
up when the man dead, they gonna put dirt on him.
(31:56):
I don't know nothing about that.
Speaker 2 (31:58):
You might be lying.
Speaker 14 (32:00):
You take your child. You didn't tell me nothing about
your child.
Speaker 11 (32:04):
When my husband was on top.
Speaker 2 (32:06):
Of the ground.
Speaker 14 (32:08):
That's staying with him already, talk about it.
Speaker 7 (32:10):
If he got it, the childred.
Speaker 14 (32:13):
Pull him up, cause see it times throwing it. I
don't want no children because I was busy doing what
young people do. Who was in our twenties, So don't
I ain't gonna have no baby mama drama. I wish
you would. I wish you would.
Speaker 2 (32:29):
Knock on my door for my husband.
Speaker 14 (32:32):
Now, if y'all are in the streets, I ain't got
nothing to do with what you wouldn't em do in
the street.
Speaker 13 (32:37):
But if I walk up on it, you could keep.
Speaker 14 (32:40):
It moving because you want that warma because you didn't
respect me. See that's out of line. And with the
school board, honey, it's no, it's no eye. See when
you don't work as a team, when everybody everybody want
to learn something, everybody want a cuff. So that's what
(33:00):
you get when you don't take care of your pies. See,
you don't take care of your business. So you won't
have to go somewhere nobody. That's elementary what went down.
I said it then, and I said, now you everybody
got their bluffy everybody's got their hands in the cookie
j out.
Speaker 2 (33:21):
They be putting their hand in the cookie job, Lady D.
So at the end of.
Speaker 14 (33:25):
The day, then with it. If you want the school,
if you want them to return it because they having
TOOKI jin, then act like you got some sense and stopped.
After that, a little bit of children and I got
grown women.
Speaker 2 (33:41):
To tea.
Speaker 14 (33:42):
I want you to have a good.
Speaker 2 (33:43):
One, all right, Lady D. Thank you so much. It
looks like.
Speaker 1 (33:47):
Another version of this bill that was passed through the
Tennessee House of Representatives. Looks like that version is not
exactly the same as the.
Speaker 2 (33:58):
Senate bill that was passed.
Speaker 1 (33:59):
However, that means that both sides will need to have
a conference committee to settle the differences in the bills.
If they come to a compromise, the compromised bill will
need to be voted on again in both the House
and the Senate. If the sides are unable to compromise,
the bill will get kicked to the next year's to
(34:20):
kick the next year's.
Speaker 2 (34:21):
Legislator said, I'm trying to you, they ain't got it together.
Speaker 1 (34:25):
They're trying to get it together, but they ain't got
it together. It's unconstitutional for you to remove those elected
board members.
Speaker 2 (34:33):
I'm just trun w D I a l O.
Speaker 10 (34:37):
Number one.
Speaker 16 (34:37):
How are you doing today?
Speaker 2 (34:38):
What's some number one? I'm good? How you feeling?
Speaker 17 (34:41):
I'm on the tops?
Speaker 16 (34:42):
What about you?
Speaker 5 (34:43):
I'm saying, that's what I'm talking about.
Speaker 17 (34:46):
He's started a good afternoon to Union College and university store.
You know, this can go two ways. It's how you
look at it. Did he give us wife permission that
she can look at.
Speaker 7 (34:59):
It at it?
Speaker 2 (35:00):
I don't know.
Speaker 5 (35:01):
She didn't.
Speaker 2 (35:01):
She didn't give those details.
Speaker 18 (35:04):
Yeah.
Speaker 17 (35:04):
See, because you know it's a wide open scenario. We
can go left, we can gonna right, or you can
just go which he figure now and he gave her permission.
We're just gonna go with this play Devil's the African
gave her permission to say, baby, you can go through
my phone. You know, I got no problem letting yet.
Speaker 5 (35:21):
Ye right, and she did.
Speaker 17 (35:23):
And you know most of the time, if you allow
someone to go through your phone, they normally gonna go
through your phone just to see what's going on in it.
And if he didn't give her that that outlet, and
she read this message, she got every reason, every right
and reason to be upset because he made he made
a statement to the woman that I do like you.
(35:44):
I would love to sit down with him again. So
to me, he's the one that instigated all this, not
the lady at worked because she she could only do
what he allowed her to do. Almost when we talked
about walking the woman to the car. Now, if she
allowed him to go father, then is on her. But
you stated in the in the text that he didn't.
Speaker 7 (36:05):
Even respond to this.
Speaker 17 (36:07):
So I'll just blame If we're going to blame anyone,
it's not the white it's not the woman that he's
interested in. It's actually him and she should take up
the matter, not with the woman that he's interested in.
Speaker 5 (36:19):
But with him that that's just.
Speaker 17 (36:23):
The way it is. So that's my take on that.
Now let's deal with what sense shuts charged throw me.
I always believe and I'm gonna have to agree with
what client said.
Speaker 7 (36:36):
Make sure whoever you're.
Speaker 17 (36:37):
Involved with is not equally yoke financially, emotionally, spiritually and
all the above. If they're not, If you're over over,
then you got more to lose. If they got more
to lose, they got more to lose. So I have
always even when I speak to my daughter, tell her them,
(36:58):
make sure the person that you get involved with its
equally got the same amount of finances as you do.
Because if he got blessed, you're gonna be the one
that's can think about it. If I got married to
Dave and all the assets that I got outweighed the
aysets that she had, who's gonna walk out of bat cat?
(37:18):
She is because she didn't put in the no, no
kind of work to get to the empire built and
y first, because there are women out there building their empire,
and I'm proud of so Stormy and my number opinion,
I would say this, make sure that person that you
get with has the same amount of goal that you
(37:38):
got because the people there are people out there waiting
and they're they're like buzzards, and the first time you slip,
they gonna take advantage of you. Special especially these women
will go with these athletes or their broferds. They know
they got banking and that's why they with them time.
They're not interested in the person that they.
Speaker 1 (37:59):
With, Right, Prince Charles, Yeah, you you gotta be careful
And like I said, and thank you, Prince Charles, you
gotta be careful making a teachable moment for these young folks.
Speaker 2 (38:07):
They need to know these.
Speaker 1 (38:08):
Young men, sit them down, had that conversation with them,
you know what I'm saying, so that they know what's
going on. You know, whether they're rich right now or not,
you never know what's gonna happen in the future.
Speaker 2 (38:22):
W d I A hello? What it?
Speaker 19 (38:25):
Dude?
Speaker 2 (38:25):
Ain't even daddy? How you doing?
Speaker 5 (38:28):
I'm good.
Speaker 18 (38:28):
Look, First of all, let me stray something.
Speaker 10 (38:31):
Now.
Speaker 18 (38:32):
I tried not to call none of your folks with
your caller's name, but I heard that fool yesterday said
what he said, always trying to stop so that real
I pushed him in that sinko when Barba Ojay was
here because this is what him and that goon do
always try to touch said naked things about me. I'm
talking about prince yall Prince's job. Keep your map off
(38:54):
with me, mad, don't worry about it if I go
call or nothing. That's not jo being to the word
about running nothing on this show.
Speaker 16 (39:01):
This to me shows like.
Speaker 1 (39:03):
Calm down, forget about it. Let it go, little bad,
let it go. Now talk to me.
Speaker 2 (39:09):
What's going on with you?
Speaker 18 (39:11):
Look, I'm just tired because simple fact something.
Speaker 5 (39:14):
It's so hard.
Speaker 18 (39:15):
It ain't just hard for me. I'm making it, but
it's half out for this. I'm just gonna keep on
talk with the bat to so and half because.
Speaker 6 (39:25):
It don't make no sense. Like I said yesterday, and
I heard.
Speaker 18 (39:29):
Two stupid emails yesterday said that negative stuff about me.
But they don't know nothing to either.
Speaker 6 (39:35):
It's just it's just ideal.
Speaker 18 (39:38):
Everything so high and off the chain.
Speaker 5 (39:43):
It's ridiculous.
Speaker 18 (39:43):
I mean, how could a.
Speaker 6 (39:45):
Middle class person making, how.
Speaker 18 (39:47):
Can a poor person make?
Speaker 5 (39:49):
They designed this stuff just for the.
Speaker 1 (39:51):
Bridge, and you have you have you having a hard time,
little daddy, with everything that's going on.
Speaker 8 (39:57):
It sounds like.
Speaker 1 (40:00):
It sounds like you're having a heart, and it's okay.
A lot of people are having a hard time.
Speaker 18 (40:05):
I'm just saying I ain't have no hard time. I'm
just saying about the ridiculous of the price on everything.
Speaker 2 (40:13):
Yeah, everybody know.
Speaker 18 (40:14):
What I mean. I don't want to talking about it. Yeah, because,
like I said it before, they get trying to get
that money back from they wore. That's all. It is
something I want to get my trees or trees that
Louise and Little Daddy, y'all.
Speaker 6 (40:28):
Still in my black eyes time.
Speaker 18 (40:30):
That's another reason I'm calling it back. I know they
missed a Google.
Speaker 1 (40:34):
Stom All right, Little Daddy, thank you so much. Yeah,
bless us heart. To be honest with you, I know
a lot of people probably feel like Little Daddy.
Speaker 2 (40:41):
Does you know what I'm saying? A lot of people
are struggling a lot of.
Speaker 1 (40:43):
People, you know, And people don't want to say it
because they don't want people in their business. But man,
this stuff affects folks. It does, whether we want to.
Speaker 2 (40:52):
Believe it or not.
Speaker 1 (40:53):
Now and I know for Little Daddy is coffee you
want to call it?
Speaker 2 (40:57):
The costs of saying it costs.
Speaker 1 (40:59):
Years ago or yesterday, And blessed it's hard that coffee
went up, that cough, it done went up. But people
are yeah, they're going through it. Sometimes the best think
you can do is little Danny and hopefully some of
these lawmakers are listening to the radio people who can
(41:21):
do something about what's happening to folk. To all of us,
it's hitting song in the pocket, rich folks, poor folks,
everybody getting hit right now, let me read a couple
of these emails African consultants, says Shannon Sharp. Let that
be a teachable moment for all the negroes who love
messing with these white women.
Speaker 2 (41:40):
Serves them right. Ain't nothing a white.
Speaker 1 (41:42):
Woman can do for me but point me to point
me in the direction of a sister.
Speaker 2 (41:48):
Oh is that how you feel? Okay? He also says
school board.
Speaker 1 (41:53):
So you are going to have the school board plus
an oversight committee by the state. Ain't that a waste
of taxpayer money? I agree, But that's what they're gonna do. Yep, No,
I see that.
Speaker 2 (42:07):
I ain't reading it. Show ain't.
Speaker 1 (42:10):
Let's see Ms Kosher, Hey, miss kochha, She says, Hey, Stormy,
I know she Haddon Sharp House to be in his fifties.
Speaker 2 (42:16):
Why would he want to be with a teenager if she.
Speaker 1 (42:19):
Is eighteen from the beginning, or was eighteen from the beginning,
that's what he gets. The moaning and groaning was probably
fake anyway on her end. Ooh, y'all be cold with it?
Trying to tell you you be cold with it? W
D I A hello, hello, Hey?
Speaker 2 (42:39):
What was having though? Was having to mister West? How
you feeling to day?
Speaker 6 (42:43):
I'm feeling good.
Speaker 16 (42:44):
You're doing all right.
Speaker 2 (42:44):
I'm doing pretty good.
Speaker 16 (42:46):
That's good.
Speaker 7 (42:47):
That's good.
Speaker 11 (42:49):
I call it a well. One thing, the school board
the state was trying to get out.
Speaker 5 (42:54):
Of the education business.
Speaker 11 (42:55):
I thought they spoken turn a thang over Citen City
in the first place.
Speaker 5 (42:59):
Wasn't he so.
Speaker 11 (43:02):
The one one that what uh Ain't that what uh
Lee was trying to do with thoir bouncers and everything.
Speaker 1 (43:08):
Now, that's taking it out of the school board too.
That's money they taking out of the local schools.
Speaker 11 (43:13):
In to a right, he's gonna turn it over to
like Donald Trump trying to get out.
Speaker 5 (43:18):
Of the thought uh leave doing the same thing to.
Speaker 11 (43:22):
The city what he was doing.
Speaker 2 (43:26):
And the man, come on, I.
Speaker 11 (43:29):
Know they messing up all way around. Come on, come on,
mind and all the tests old Denmer. He's gonna talk
about what did what the Democrats doing for us? What
is the Republicans doing for us?
Speaker 4 (43:41):
Them?
Speaker 5 (43:42):
They taking us back to slavery, they take it everything we.
Speaker 6 (43:45):
Ever had mm hm.
Speaker 5 (43:46):
And so they ain't doing nothing. But why would we
vote for them? That don't make sense?
Speaker 11 (43:51):
And one more thanks, I'm trying to give me a
Chevrolet Cavalier or one citty.
Speaker 2 (43:58):
Wait a minute, you're.
Speaker 3 (43:59):
Waking ann the word.
Speaker 4 (44:02):
Who doing?
Speaker 2 (44:02):
Wait a minute? Did somebody take your words? Did I
take your words? No?
Speaker 11 (44:07):
I tell h no, I got I'm talking about child
in the city.
Speaker 5 (44:10):
But you know they don't hire a uh gangs or
or something. You hear about that.
Speaker 2 (44:18):
I don't know that.
Speaker 1 (44:19):
I don't know if he's a gangser I know who
you're talking about, but I know he's he's like you remember,
he wanted somebody to have the position to kind of
be like a liaison I guess between the police and
maybe the city or whatever. I think that's what that
guy that that new guy, there's something similar to that
because I saw it on social media the other day.
Speaker 2 (44:40):
Yeah, I know they had a guy.
Speaker 5 (44:43):
Last year for that same thing. Paid him real good.
Speaker 11 (44:47):
Now I believe I did more than healthy post coetmunities
just crowned than anybody they got me to cut.
Speaker 2 (44:54):
I know that's right, mister West my.
Speaker 5 (44:56):
Face, Yeah I can because I know where.
Speaker 11 (45:00):
Uh well, I think I know one of these drug
kings in well not good, the gang king tin and uh.
Speaker 2 (45:05):
You want to take him down? Said over there, trying
to take him down.
Speaker 5 (45:09):
I won't take him down for the bout of mind.
They paying that guy there, they pay me something like that.
I give them the information, but I ain't gonna.
Speaker 6 (45:17):
Throw it over thesead ways for free.
Speaker 5 (45:18):
They're gonna have to get me.
Speaker 2 (45:21):
Okay, mister well, bless your heart. Okay, you already.
Speaker 5 (45:24):
Saved them forth two billion dollars. You remember that digit something.
Speaker 11 (45:28):
I saved them both two billions out how you saying
we would a bus? That old guy, uh, Robert Connect,
he was over the public work.
Speaker 2 (45:37):
You to You told him they need to let that
man go.
Speaker 5 (45:40):
I told him they need to get something that money got.
He said, no, two billion.
Speaker 11 (45:43):
Dollars and uh and the mayor was in the raided
the taxis for seventy million doll.
Speaker 6 (45:48):
I said, yeah, I'm sorry, hate them.
Speaker 18 (45:52):
Get that man up on it, back up they need
to get that money from him, That's what.
Speaker 6 (45:57):
I said, And they need to pay me. Man, I
can do something else.
Speaker 2 (46:01):
God, I got rid of this client.
Speaker 19 (46:04):
I like.
Speaker 1 (46:06):
Right, well, i'm gonna see I'm gonna put you on
and I know they they don't like it. They don't
like it when I say it's but I'm concerned about you.
So I'm gonna put you on the prayer list.
Speaker 6 (46:19):
Can pay.
Speaker 2 (46:26):
Bye, mister West y'all something else. Listen, I got a solution.
Let's see if I can get Jackson the coach signing.
I got a solution.
Speaker 15 (46:39):
For these.
Speaker 1 (46:41):
Car chases so that people don't get hurt. I have
a solution, and I'm gonna tell you all about it
on the way. This is my this is what I
think will help fix the problem. Well maybe not fix it,
but it'll help tell you what it is coming up.
And I'm gonna read your emails too, So don't y'all move?
All right, So, cabin CABn Kirk Jackson and whoever that
(47:05):
is holding on. Maybe a first time call out, I
don't know, y'all, hang on. I'll be back in a moment.
Not one of my holidays or one of my days.
Speaker 2 (47:14):
I don't really do much on Earth Day. I mean
I don't do much shit. That's just me. Okay.
Speaker 1 (47:20):
So I have a solution to some of this, the
car chases that have been happening, and I'm gonna get
to that in a moment, but I want to do
a couple of things before I do that. I'm going
to the iHeartRadio app because my girl Jennifer dontap that app.
Speaker 2 (47:33):
His So, I mean, this is Jennifer, your new true fan.
Speaker 20 (47:36):
Hey girl, my sister and I had a discussion about
the lady that was really bold coming up to the
door and asking for something. Well, I'm gonna put it
like this, with my last ten seconds, she can walk
up to the door and I'm gonna call the police
and tell them I have an intruder.
Speaker 2 (47:50):
And if you don't get here soon, I don't know
what may happen. End of the story. Mm okay, we
can read between the lines on that one. Thank you, Jennifer.
Speaker 1 (48:02):
Thank you for tapping that up and for joining the
conversation up in him, up in him.
Speaker 19 (48:07):
Uh.
Speaker 1 (48:08):
I do wanna uh hang on, Jackson, I'm coming to you,
but I do want to go to this call right here.
W D I a hello, Hello, call Oh sorry, call
you there? Yes, yes, hey, I'm so sorry I didn't
have the anyway. How you doing today?
Speaker 13 (48:25):
I'm doing well, Stormy, Thanks for having me.
Speaker 2 (48:27):
No, hey, thank you for calling. Are you new to
the show?
Speaker 15 (48:31):
Yes?
Speaker 1 (48:32):
Oh wait a minute, what come on in him? Come
on in the room, you and Jennifer come on now? Yes, yes,
what's your name? Trouble, Hey, Trouble.
Speaker 2 (48:48):
How's it going?
Speaker 13 (48:49):
I'm doing well? You know a storm Stormy Storm is
the most powerful, ferocious hero in Marvel. So I think
that name is bi for you. You're a very ferocious
mind and voice on the airway.
Speaker 2 (49:07):
Thank you so much, Jackson. They never told me nothing
like that anyway, Go ahead, Trouble all right.
Speaker 13 (49:14):
So I want to read a quick quote, and it
was you will own nothing and be happy. And that
was published in the Economic Form in twenty sixteen, and
as we fast forward almost ten years today, it seemed
like they was telling the truth. It seems no matter
how much we work, they say, work harder, but people
(49:36):
having two and three jobs and steal homeless. If you
sleeping on the couch, if you're sleeping in your car,
if you've got a place to lay your head. But
it's not your name on their wrint or mortgage. You
are homeless, and we have a homeless epidemic. I drive
all across the nation and anywhere I go between seven
and nine, it's traffic. So people are working, people are
(49:58):
working harder, people are cutting back. People are not And
this is not people crazy alcoholics, drug addicts, over splurging.
Speaker 2 (50:07):
They don't have any money, lay no.
Speaker 13 (50:09):
People doing the best they can. They can't control these
prices gas. That's happening. And I just want people to
know this, this is survival time. They don't want you
to get ahead, you know, and it's it's just a funny,
strange time that we're in right now.
Speaker 2 (50:28):
I agree, Thank you. Trouble sound like good trouble to me.
Speaker 13 (50:34):
I just want people to keep their head up, keep going,
they don't give up and uh and just and just
keep trying. And you know, nobody knows what to do,
and we are trying to figure it out. They know
date on step they time.
Speaker 2 (50:47):
Thank you, Trouble, Appreciate you calling and being a first
time caller. Look at that. We'll call again, Trouble, Okay, absolutely,
and stay out of trouble. Yeah, alright, Oh the audience
is gone, yeah, hey, I like him.
Speaker 1 (51:06):
Okay, here's my here's my here's my theory. This is okay,
this is I hope somebody from the city is listening.
Speaker 19 (51:13):
You know what.
Speaker 1 (51:13):
I don't care if you give me credit, if you
do this or not. But this is just an idea
that I have. Okay, my idea because I've seen I've
been seeing the signs. Have y'all been seeing the signs?
And I'm not talking about them kind of signs. I'm
talking about the actual signs that are overhead when you're
driving on the interstate.
Speaker 2 (51:31):
Have y'all been seeing those?
Speaker 1 (51:32):
It seems as though there are some new ones popping
up in Memphis on I two forty.
Speaker 2 (51:37):
I've seen some on Bill Morris Parkway.
Speaker 1 (51:40):
Now maybe they've already been there and I just haven't,
you know, noticed that anything was there.
Speaker 2 (51:45):
But I think that.
Speaker 1 (51:50):
If you put more of those signs on Memphis highways
and Bill Morris two forty forty, you know where heavily
traveled in interstates, then when there is a car chase,
you can warn people, hopefully before that car gets close
(52:10):
to them, so they can take you know, and maybe
some people won't be.
Speaker 2 (52:16):
Paying attention to the signs ahead.
Speaker 1 (52:18):
But some people will and some people will move out
the way. You know what I'm saying, If there's a
way you can communicate with us, because a lot of
these car chases are happening on I two forty, They're
happening on the Bill Morris problems on Bill Morris Parkway.
Because you know, I go to my spot on Friday nights, right,
(52:39):
and I'm just calling name serve. I go down on
Friday night, and so I'm I'm you know, usually when
I'm driving home, I mean, I pune all around me.
Speaker 2 (52:50):
Puny come from every side. I'm like, how how do
I you know what I'm saying.
Speaker 1 (52:55):
So it may not stop the fast drivers, but I
do think those people pay attention. I was driving and
I saw the words. It was simple. Whoever posted a
good job? They said, slowed down.
Speaker 2 (53:10):
You know what I did? I slowed down. I paid attention.
Speaker 1 (53:18):
And I imagine there would be others that will pay
attention to And I'm just saying, you know, perhaps that
will help us if that is somehow implemented.
Speaker 2 (53:27):
That's jay. It's just an idea. Maybe it costs too much.
I don't know.
Speaker 1 (53:33):
Get Elon must to pay for it. Elon got it,
get it from him. Stephen Sidney emailed. He said, Amen
to Lady d Prince Charles and my guy Clyde, storming
you the best from Steve and Angela Sidney.
Speaker 19 (53:50):
Man.
Speaker 2 (53:50):
I love them Sydney's. Don't y'all love them? Don't you
love them?
Speaker 1 (53:53):
And here go, here go Clyde, he said, tell a
little daddy to stop crying and tell him to start
drinking hot chocolate. I don't tell that man that start
drinking on hot chocolate.
Speaker 2 (54:02):
He likes coffee.
Speaker 3 (54:04):
Ms.
Speaker 1 (54:05):
Thomas, MS Thomas. You hang on, I'm coming to your email,
but I'm going to this phone. Let me get back
to it. Let me see, let me get back to it.
Speaker 2 (54:15):
This is a mass.
Speaker 15 (54:27):
Would be.
Speaker 2 (54:33):
I'm gonna stop all that laughing to get to it.
Speaker 4 (54:40):
Man, come on with you, all my fans and all
my constituents and all the males to run everything what anyway?
Speaker 16 (54:57):
We all know that women run things, which is just
said it.
Speaker 2 (55:01):
Say that again, Say it again, Say it again.
Speaker 6 (55:05):
About that part.
Speaker 16 (55:10):
You're not gonna hear it again.
Speaker 2 (55:13):
You're wrong that you wrong?
Speaker 16 (55:16):
Anyway?
Speaker 1 (55:17):
Well, Jackson, let me ask you this. Let me ask
you this before you get into your spill. What do
you think about my what do you think about my plan?
Speaker 15 (55:25):
Well?
Speaker 16 (55:26):
Your plan? I was gonna spinks, but because I couldn't
say sucks, uh so I got a solution.
Speaker 1 (55:41):
Wait, so wait now waiting, now hold up, now, you
ain't gonna insult me and then keep going.
Speaker 2 (55:46):
I think it's I think it's a good plan.
Speaker 1 (55:50):
I really think that that people are paying attention to
those overhead signs and and it'll.
Speaker 2 (55:57):
It'll help.
Speaker 16 (56:00):
It also have the criminals hm to get away.
Speaker 1 (56:04):
But no, no, no, no, no no, because if y'all know,
if the police listen to me, if the police know
where they are, you know what I'm saying. So say,
for instance, they're going east onto forty, right, okay, and
and you put the signs on forty before they get there.
Speaker 16 (56:29):
What time of day?
Speaker 2 (56:32):
Nighttime?
Speaker 16 (56:34):
So we tell the criminals that said I only do
it at nighttime?
Speaker 7 (56:39):
Right name see.
Speaker 1 (56:43):
Go one or whatever you're gonna say, mag You can't
you can't see, don't see this this.
Speaker 2 (56:47):
Let me tell y'all, some of y'all, and you just
hold on Jackson. If you just hold on her, I'm
gonna turn your mic off.
Speaker 7 (56:53):
You just hold.
Speaker 2 (56:59):
On now, see. Let me ladies and gentlemen, and let
me man. If you are trying to stand up for right,
don't let the devil be on your back. Just see
how Jackson did me. Did devil be right there on
your on your shoulder, trying to say, don't.
Speaker 7 (57:19):
Do it, don't give you.
Speaker 16 (57:20):
Let me give you the solution.
Speaker 2 (57:22):
Okay, go ahead.
Speaker 16 (57:24):
The solution is if the criminal would just pull over.
That's that's that would help.
Speaker 4 (57:33):
That would that's the solution. We blame everybody, but the criminal.
Democrats always do that. Blame everybody. That's the criminals.
Speaker 1 (57:44):
You're about to get your mic turned off.
Speaker 19 (57:50):
Let me get back, uh, let me get on my subject. Uh,
and and looked at him, please nah, move on, move
on now.
Speaker 16 (58:03):
Okay, I'm not gonna mention you. I'm not gonna mention
his name.
Speaker 4 (58:05):
But he's talking about that coffee, that stimulus coffee that's
going up. Okay, be's all give you my top five
lies about the devil. I keep hearing y'all talk about
the devil. So let me talk to the people. Listen
to the ignorant people. Crime is down in Mensis.
Speaker 5 (58:30):
Young people.
Speaker 4 (58:31):
Young people have been drag racing in the nineteen fifties
and sixties, they've always been drag racing, and so I
said new, So let's let's get off young people. Okay,
here's my top five lists about the Devil that people
lie about the Devil about Number five, The Devil is
(58:54):
a liar?
Speaker 17 (58:56):
What is?
Speaker 16 (58:57):
What is the devilsop line?
Speaker 4 (59:00):
The devil tells you what he's gonna do, and he desert.
Number four, The Devil is whipping his wife.
Speaker 2 (59:07):
Oh God, do we y'all vote? Do you want him to?
Because he done started off wrong?
Speaker 1 (59:15):
The devil is a liar? And I thought this list
was gonna be better than this. I thought he was
gonna start with something else.
Speaker 2 (59:25):
I don't know. I don't know. Do I go back
to this or not? Are you still there?
Speaker 16 (59:32):
Number two? The red Coat and the Pitchport?
Speaker 2 (59:36):
Honey, you didn't even know you was out to air?
We missed Number three?
Speaker 6 (59:41):
Number three, The Truth Shall set You free?
Speaker 2 (59:46):
Uh uh bye Jackson, Bye bye. Not on this show.
Take that to another show. You get up on out
of here with that, Get on out of him. Don't
come back around here with that. What's wrong with that?
Speaker 19 (01:00:07):
Man?
Speaker 2 (01:00:08):
W D I A hello, Hello, Hello, hey, how you doing.
Speaker 1 (01:00:18):
All right?
Speaker 5 (01:00:18):
Here are you today, Starmy, I'm doing.
Speaker 2 (01:00:21):
Pretty good, Captain Kirk. You feeling okay today?
Speaker 19 (01:00:25):
Oh?
Speaker 5 (01:00:26):
Sad a minute? And that's the old folks saying.
Speaker 8 (01:00:28):
Bless you nothing bad?
Speaker 2 (01:00:31):
Okay, okay, Army.
Speaker 6 (01:00:35):
You know it's really sad.
Speaker 21 (01:00:36):
People don't understand there's no love in this world Harley anymore,
because if you've got to go through a person's phone,
there's no trucks there. There is no trust off, whether
you man or female. And the best thing for you
to do is to go ahead and park ways wow,
(01:00:57):
because you're not gonna stay together a loan anyway. If
I'm searching through your phone, I have no trustle.
Speaker 7 (01:01:04):
I'm thinking you at.
Speaker 21 (01:01:05):
That doing something and I'm looking for and when you're
looking for stuff, you'll find this most time. But I
tell you there's no way I can put my phone
down round in a woman I'm with, Hey, I don't
care what they do with it, because if I'm with her,
I'm with her, Yeah, ain't nothing else will be going on. Yeah,
(01:01:26):
so she gets but see, she gonna go through my
phone like a door. I'm out there doing something wrong.
It's not for me to walk on out the door
because we don't have any trust between us, because I
would never look through your phone. I don't care what
you got in it. Mm hmmm, because that's how much
(01:01:51):
I'm gonna put you. Hey, because I say I love you,
I love you, and I'm gonna trust you.
Speaker 2 (01:02:01):
I got it.
Speaker 6 (01:02:02):
That's where everybody's tailing.
Speaker 21 (01:02:03):
You got to put the trust back there and again,
you got to start trusting each other. If you say
you love them, you care about them, Yeah, that's all
then too it.
Speaker 1 (01:02:14):
Yeah, but isn't isn't Captain Kirk And I hear you.
I hear what you're saying, and I respect it. But
isn't trust earned?
Speaker 7 (01:02:22):
Well, that's what it's supposed to be. Is we got together.
Speaker 21 (01:02:25):
We should have heard, we should have it going on, right, Yeah,
So if you started looking at it through my phone,
you are just still let us doing something wrong. But
we might well part the ways. We don't have it anymore.
Speaker 15 (01:02:41):
Yeah, yeah, and y'all don't have it.
Speaker 21 (01:02:49):
And car chases up and down? Ohioway, you want to
see car chases? You come out here in California.
Speaker 2 (01:02:53):
That's what I heard. I heard y'all got it going
on out there.
Speaker 21 (01:02:57):
Oh, we have them every day, half a dozen no
more Wow.
Speaker 5 (01:03:02):
Plenty of woad.
Speaker 21 (01:03:06):
You can't cut on the news daddy clowns out here.
I tell you, I don't know what they're gonna do
with them at half of them anyway.
Speaker 2 (01:03:15):
Wow wow, Well, thank you Captain Kirk. You got me thinking.
I appreciate you calling in. Okay, all right, Domman, you
have a blessed day you too, YouTube. Yeah, you got
me thinking.
Speaker 1 (01:03:28):
I mean, because if you married, then there's the trust
has been established. Hmmm the plot thickens didn't even think
about all of that.
Speaker 19 (01:03:41):
M w D.
Speaker 9 (01:03:42):
I A hello, Uh, don't be waved through Stormen, because yes,
trust he is earned. And although you marry a person,
sometime they get a reason ton't stop trusting them or
not trust them as much.
Speaker 16 (01:03:59):
So what was the reason?
Speaker 6 (01:04:00):
And what prompted her to go through his farm?
Speaker 10 (01:04:03):
You know?
Speaker 9 (01:04:04):
And so I feel like in relationship of marriage there
shouldn't be any secrets. You know, if you got a friend,
that's fans, but your friends shouldn't be a secret from me,
you know. So we got to look at the whole picture.
Don't be swayed by what he just said.
Speaker 6 (01:04:19):
Yeah, you get trust, but you can't mess it up too.
Speaker 9 (01:04:22):
You can't break that trust uh barrier, you know. Uh
in terms of the widow and the daughter and the
lady come to the house. I'm glad that it ended
the way that it did because they have enough going
on already emotionally with the husband and I suppose the father.
But I would have ended that visit with don't come
(01:04:43):
back again, you know, because you did wrong for come
in from the beginning. And as far as these now,
I just seen on the news that they passed both
of them, both of those bills, the one that uh.
Speaker 2 (01:04:56):
They passed both of them.
Speaker 1 (01:04:57):
But they're both different. So I was reading thirteen and
they said they have to come to a conclusion again
they are different.
Speaker 2 (01:05:08):
Yeah, And so my things is here, U Thorman. I
don't like what's happening with that.
Speaker 9 (01:05:15):
I feel like, you know, the board, the school board, whether.
Speaker 6 (01:05:18):
I disagree with what they did with the superintendent or not,
I feel like the school board has the authority to
do what they did, and it seems like what the
state is doing it's like in retaliation, like they got
mad about what the school board did. And that's problem
I had with it.
Speaker 9 (01:05:35):
You know, you mad how you get how you get
mad about them by her they was within their you know,
guidelines based.
Speaker 6 (01:05:41):
On what represents Antonio Parks.
Speaker 9 (01:05:43):
And said they didn't violate any rules.
Speaker 6 (01:05:45):
And whether I like it or not, they were doing
their job.
Speaker 9 (01:05:48):
Yeah, you know, and now as well as just be
as Jed Hollaway's put in terms of recall, I don't
support that.
Speaker 16 (01:05:56):
Either because people volks these.
Speaker 9 (01:05:59):
People in So let him do their job, whether I
like it or not, until it's time, do you let
it get Yeah.
Speaker 5 (01:06:05):
I don't like what they are doing. So let's get
a recall to both.
Speaker 9 (01:06:08):
How many people out down there in the state.
Speaker 6 (01:06:11):
You see what I'm saying you, yes?
Speaker 5 (01:06:14):
Yeah?
Speaker 16 (01:06:15):
So you know.
Speaker 3 (01:06:16):
Uh.
Speaker 5 (01:06:16):
I liked Trobe.
Speaker 9 (01:06:17):
I liked the comments made Old Pap and he actually
puts on on my mand that I speak to you
about tomorrow when he said people are working, but people
are seeing in poverty.
Speaker 2 (01:06:26):
Yeah, I'll talk to you about that tomorrow. All right,
coming man, Thank you. I appreciate you.
Speaker 8 (01:06:32):
Yeah.
Speaker 2 (01:06:33):
Uh, let me read a couple emails and then we'll
go back to the phones. Okay. Uh, let's see missus Thomas.
Speaker 1 (01:06:38):
Hey girl, she says high storming concerning the Shannon Sharp situation.
I was wondering if the woman suing him was the
Michelle from the live video, and you.
Speaker 2 (01:06:47):
Confirm that just that.
Speaker 1 (01:06:49):
I initially thought that it was a mistake, as he said,
but I remember one of those young folks called your
show and said it was probably it probably wasn't a mistake.
I think whoever said that was right. As for the
woman that showed up at the woman's house trying to
get her stuff back, it seems to me like folks
these days don't mind risking their lives over foolishness. With
(01:07:12):
all of the current stories of folks that found out
the hard way, you would think that people would learn
to leave folks alone, but evidently not. But Stormy, you
tickle me when you said that she felt like he
ghosted her, and you said that in a way he did.
You're pretty quick with it, and I love it.
Speaker 7 (01:07:33):
Thank you.
Speaker 2 (01:07:34):
I can't I would.
Speaker 1 (01:07:36):
I would love to take full credit for that one,
but I can't. I can't miss Michelle ms King. She says,
workplace situations, Hello, Stormy, no husband has any business texting
another woman period.
Speaker 2 (01:07:47):
Talking about he would like to steal.
Speaker 1 (01:07:50):
See that man was flirting with her and trying to
see how far he could get with her. It's easy
to fall in love with or just become interested in
being with someone you work with. For me, having constant
conversations with a former co worker led to us both
falling for each other. We were both single, though, But
(01:08:12):
I do know from experience that conversations that may be
innocent in the beginning can lead to something else.
Speaker 2 (01:08:19):
Married people need to be mindful of that. You can
get yourself in compromising situations from crossing lines by being
too friendly. Hmmm, what she said?
Speaker 1 (01:08:31):
All right, I've got to take a break and come back.
We're gonna come back and we're gonna talk some more.
I'll go back back to that iHeartRadio app. I'm gonna
take let me see one more email here, Jackson. He says, bye, Felicia,
and then he says child Bella, all right, Jackson, All right, listen.
Speaker 2 (01:08:53):
We'll come back and take your calls.
Speaker 1 (01:08:54):
Denver, Eric Captain, y'all, don't move not on one five
three five nine three four two eight hundred five zero
three nine three four two eight three three five three
five nine three four two and read uh some more emails.
We'll go back to that talkback feature as well. Don't
not to get ready to get out of here. Definitely
got that classic TV throw by coming up. So this
is the last half hour, y'all better call and get
(01:09:14):
up in him nine on one five three, five, nine
three four two eight hundred five zero three ninety three
four two eight three three five three five nine three
four two. Those are the numbers to get at me,
Miss Kosha says. Jackson always says child bella in closing.
I know exactly what it means. Doesn't that count? You said,
he never says anything like the other caller.
Speaker 2 (01:09:36):

Speaker 22 (01:09:53):
Jackson was right in the way in Indianapolis on four
sixty five on the stag have US truckers take up
all four lanes bottlenecking so the only way the speeding
cars can go is just on the medium and the grass,
and they can't go nowhere.
Speaker 2 (01:10:11):
Hey, love your ten seventy WD.
Speaker 1 (01:10:13):
I all right, okay, he took Jackson's side. I thought
I had Thank you HERB. Appreciate you checking it. Wait,

Speaker 2 (01:10:56):
How are you?
Speaker 5 (01:10:57):
I'm good.
Speaker 15 (01:10:58):
It's er Can playing Eric.
Speaker 2 (01:11:01):
What's going on?
Speaker 5 (01:11:03):
Oh, ain't too much. I just want to come in
on some of your topics today, Yes, sir, talk.
Speaker 6 (01:11:08):
To him man Shannon Sharp.
Speaker 15 (01:11:11):
Shannon's been a while, a part all of his life.
And you know what's stoney. That's one of the reasons
why young men act, you know, so out of kilter
because they listen to a lot of that foolishness that's
coming out of.
Speaker 5 (01:11:26):
The mass media.
Speaker 6 (01:11:28):
And then you know, and then on the Kanye West.
Speaker 15 (01:11:31):
You know that guy's a master at staying in the media.
Speaker 5 (01:11:35):
You know that, don't you.
Speaker 15 (01:11:37):
He finds any way he can to stay in the media.
With that debacle he came out with today, it's just
his way of staying in the media.
Speaker 2 (01:11:48):
You think that's what it is, or you think.
Speaker 5 (01:11:50):
I know that's what it is.
Speaker 6 (01:11:52):
I really do feel like that's what he does.
Speaker 15 (01:11:55):
Because you know, he's not writing good music anymore. He
should focus on that and maybe he can get himself
back in the media. Everybody has passed on him in performances,
national performances. They've passed on him because he likes to
be in the media, but he don't want to write
his music. You got to get in the lab, Tanye.
Speaker 5 (01:12:15):
You got to get in the lab and.
Speaker 16 (01:12:16):
Write some good stuff.
Speaker 2 (01:12:18):
Yeah, some people want to hear.
Speaker 16 (01:12:20):
Yeah, a lot of.
Speaker 5 (01:12:21):
People want to hear good music.
Speaker 15 (01:12:23):
But he's decided to take a different way, undressing as
woman in public.
Speaker 5 (01:12:27):
And all of that type of fool.
Speaker 15 (01:12:30):
When all he's got to do is get in the
lab and go to work.
Speaker 6 (01:12:35):
And then it's one other things that you know, a
lot of times we.
Speaker 15 (01:12:40):
Make things difficult. You talked about how you go to
your spot and then come back and groom, groom everything
going by you.
Speaker 6 (01:12:47):
Yeah, it's as simple as this.
Speaker 5 (01:12:53):
Do saturations out there.
Speaker 15 (01:12:55):
If you are part of the public and not a
police officer, and you see it, why is it that
the city.
Speaker 5 (01:13:01):
Can't see it?
Speaker 15 (01:13:01):
Why is it that Chevy County.
Speaker 5 (01:13:03):
Can't see it?
Speaker 2 (01:13:04):
That's a good question, and just deal with.
Speaker 15 (01:13:08):
I was downtown two weeks ago when the kid got
shot down there on Front Street and do you know
I tried to drive through Bill Street and the third
Street to pass Bill Street, and do you know those
kids was right there at that hotel in the orse
him and they were spending those times and it was smoking.
I couldn't even see how to drive. And I cannot
(01:13:30):
believe the city of mentors and let.
Speaker 6 (01:13:32):
That type of foolishness go on.
Speaker 2 (01:13:35):
I don't understand it.
Speaker 15 (01:13:37):
I don't either, But I enjoyed talking to you, and
you have a great when I know somebody's trying to
get in.
Speaker 1 (01:13:42):
Thank you so much, Thank you for calling Eric, appreciate
you doing that. Yeah, I don't get it.
Speaker 19 (01:13:48):
I don't.
Speaker 1 (01:13:48):
I don't understand that. He's right. I mean, if we
see it, he saw it, they've got to see it. Now,
I'm just trying to come up to with a solution,
and and maybe my solution isn't the solution, but there's
got to be something, you know what I'm saying. It's
got to be something we can do. It's got to
(01:14:10):
be some somebody can do around here to help out
with what's going on. And maybe they'd got some solutions
because mister West when he called earlier, I was trying.
I couldn't remember the man's name that he was talking about.
Darren Goods is his name. He was named the new
public Safety Advisor for the City of Memphis, and Goods
(01:14:32):
will look over the Group Violence Intervention Program and the
Joint Office of Neighborhood Safety UH and Engagement. Memphis Mayor
Paul Young named him. That he got the official official title.
It was what last week sometime and Goods will, Now,
I just told you what he was gonna do with
the Crime Commission's Business Roundtable is funding the position as
(01:14:53):
part of a public private partnership to decrease grime.
Speaker 2 (01:14:59):
It's what they're doing, it's what they're Hey, he just
got to work. He just got to work.
Speaker 1 (01:15:05):
So before we, you know, are too hard on somebody
like him. He did just get to work on that job.
But man, that's gonna be interesting.
Speaker 10 (01:15:16):
And it is.
Speaker 19 (01:15:17):
Uh.
Speaker 1 (01:15:17):
I thought this was interesting too, and I thought Denver.
Denver was on phone and he left me. I don't
know where he went, but anyway, I thought maybe he
was calling me to tell me about this. The Trump
administration reportedly is considering policies to increase US birth rates.
Y'all heard about that, including five thousand dollars baby bonus
(01:15:41):
and expanded child tax credits.
Speaker 2 (01:15:46):
Hmmm.
Speaker 1 (01:15:48):
Since nineteen ninety, the US total fertility rate has dropped
from two point one births per woman to one point
sixty two berths per woman in twenty twenty three, and,
according to the CDC, experts attribute this decline to factors
such as a rising prevalence of dual income households, escalating
(01:16:11):
living cost and evolving social norms.
Speaker 2 (01:16:15):
Let me tell you, some kids are expensive.
Speaker 1 (01:16:18):
And to be honest, I mean, I hear what he's
trying to do, But but five thousand dollars one time
ain't gonna gonna take care of no child, if you
know what I mean. Not that people shouldn't have children,
because hey, I think they should. I got a bunch
of Well, I don't. I don't have as many grandkids
as a lot of people have. But my thank thank
(01:16:39):
God for my son. He gave me five, gave me
a full eight, six, four and two, Yes, sir, And
if they had another one, I'd be happy about that too.
But he's talking about expanded tax credits as well, adding
that to it too.
Speaker 2 (01:16:55):
But is this gonna make a difference? Is this gonna
it's a lot. It's a lot. It's a lot.
Speaker 1 (01:17:03):
Then those student loan borrowers, you're facing collections starting May fifth,
after the four year pause. Everybody's paying student loans eight kids.
Just FYI, because some people went back to school late
in life. So just know that this is gonna affect
not just kids, but older folks too. And it's gonna
(01:17:25):
affect the people too that you know, maybe your son
or grandson took out a loan and put it in
your name, you co sign. It's gonna affect you too,
because if they don't pay it, guests who're gonna have
to pay it.
Speaker 2 (01:17:41):
O y oh, you you heard me, You're gonna have
to pay it.
