me a purse. I don't know if you're supposed to
do that for Earth Day, but it's my way of contributing. Okay,

I am gonna buy me a bag. I gotta get
another backpacks. My backpack is raggedy. I gotta get another one.

But it is Earth Day today, so and they do
encourage you to do certain things, you know, like you know,
planting a tree, doing something outside in the yard, gardening.

us all breathe better. You need to breathe around here
and shout out to them grizzlies. I hope and pray

But doesn't everybody have an off night? Even comedians say
that they have off nights.

Kanye West. I did want to say a little bit
about Kanye. Kanye posted some disturbing stuff and a few
people sent it to me yesterday. You know what he
posted on social media and I saw somebody saying that
he needed help, and I was thinking, yeah, he really
brut need help bad. But yeah, he posted some things

about I guess I could say childhood trauma, some stuff
that he went through when he was a kid.

And it's kind of.

Heartbreaking, you know, to see somebody break down like that
in the public's eye like that.

You know, Tracey Morel said it to me, Hey.

Speaker 1 (03:30):
Tracy, it's heartbreaking to see that with Kanye West and
what he said. I'm not gonna repeat it. You probably
already know if you've if you you know, if you
google it or heard about it. He probably heard about
what he said, but you know some ancestual childhood trauma
that he went through, and it made me think, and
I said this today on the other station. You know,
when I started going to therapy years ago, I remember

my therapist saying, and I talked to other people who said,
if what you don't deal with, the trauma that you
don't deal with when you're young, if you don't deal
with it at some point in your life, it will
deal with you. Let me let me say that again.
Put the people in back, the trauma that you go

through when you're young, if you don't get help and
go to therapy, get help as soon as possible to
get you through that. Because trauma affects your brain and
if if it affects a whole lot, you know what
I'm saying, And if you don't get help for that,

if you don't deal with it, what you don't deal with.

Will eventually deal with you.

Speaker 1 (04:48):
And to me, when I saw this with Kanye, I said, Okay,
his trauma's dealing with him that day.

So that's all I got to say about that right there.
But I hope, I do hope and pray that he
gets the help that he needs. Because he is literally,
in my opinion, crying out for help.

Yeah, so there's a video let me give you catch
you up on Carmelo Anthony, remember the kid that did
the teen accused of fatally stabbing a fellow track runner.

His family.

They've moved to an undisclosed location for safety reasons, Okay,
and the judge did approve this where it is. I'm
not sure exactly when they move. It had to be
in the last couple of days. According to reports, Anthony
and his family have been receiving death threats and disturbing
mail while strangers gathered outside of their home taking pictures.
The court approved the relocation, and it came just days

after Anthony was released on bond and placed on house
arrest with that ankle monitor. Meanwhile, Judge Angela Tucker, who
reduced Anthony's bond from one million to two hundred fifty thousand,
it's also under protection after receiving death threats as well. Yeah,
so just wanting to give you an update on that,
But a couple of things I wanted to talk to

So there's a video that's going viral on social media.

Imagine your your husband passes away, okay, and you're at home,
you and your kids, y'all aggrieving, and you know, just

Dealing with life.

You know, you're doing that all the things that you
do after something like that happens. And you at home
and the side piece knocks on your door and you
come outside and she says, I came to get the stuff.

That I gave him.

You like, huh, you triggered down because your husband is gone,
and you're like, ma'am, if you don't get away from
my door, she says no, because I guess the side
piece thought that he ghosted her. He didn't well, I

guess kind of maybe he died, and I guess she
didn't know.

The side piece didn't know.

Speaker 1 (07:43):
So she shows up at the house to get her belongings,
that stuff that she had given to him, which really
don't belong to you no more if you gave.

It hum anyway, honey.

So the wife is like, ma'am, if you don't leave,
She did not want to leave, so I guess maybe
she didn't want to leave because she didn't believe them.
And then the daughter comes out, and the daughter was
like going to put them hands on her, and so
she backs up.

And she leaves. But I'm like, what what are people
thinking nowadays? Why would you go to that? All of
this was.

Speaker 1 (08:17):
Caught by their their home video, you know, the ring
camera by the way, so they were recording it.

Speaker 2 (08:25):
I guess, you know, just to put it out there.

Speaker 1 (08:27):
But I guess once it happened, they somebody put it
out there. I don't know who put it out there,
but somebody put it out there. So the husband wasn't
there because yeah, he passed away. The wife comes to
the door in disbelief that her deceased husband's side piece
could be so bold.

She's like, what so at any rate.

Speaker 1 (08:49):
Just just a crazy story telling her to, you know, leave,
She didn't want to leave. The daughter comes out and
finally she starts to leave while uh protesting yet uh
conveniently walking backwards. The side piece started, you know, making
her way down the driveway, and the woman says, my
husband is dead. You got what you wanted, which was

whatever y'all were doing when he was alive. I'm saying
it in a nice way. Yeah, what would you have
done in a situation like that? How would you handle
something like that? It's kind of a tough question to
ask because, unfortunately, it's probably something that other people have

gone through.

It's probably something other people have gone through, you know
what I'm saying.

How bold can you be to go to somebody's house?

Yeah, you better take a lesson out of the Shannon
Sharp book.

I'm trying to figure out this whole Shannon Sharp situation.
Shannon Sharp was dating a white girl, and I think
from what I'm reading, I'm trying to read it all
so I can make sure that I don't say anything
wrong on the radio. I think she was eighteen when
they started dating. She's twenty now and she is suing him.

Tony Busby, Like I said in the tea, the same
guy that sued jay Z, that tried to bring jay
Z and Beyonce and all that drama with Diddy, and
jay Z sued him back and won. He's that attorney.
And it seems like maybe it's just me. It seems
like this guy, this is the word on the street

in Hollywood and in that community. They say that he
goes after every black man that comes into any position.
And here's the other thing about that, if not all
of them, not all of them. A lot of them
are innocent, you know, and all that you know, and

maybe some of them are guilty. I don't know. But
so people are playing back. Monique was on Shannon Sharp
show and she was telling him to lead them young
girls alone. So y'all remember when Shannon Sharp is the
tape that went by. That's the girl, the girl that
was on him on the sixth daye all we heard

was the sound. That's the girl that's suing him right now, Okay,
this the young girl. Of course he said he accidentally
did that or whatever. But now they've got video and
all that kind of stuff. Shannon's like, show all the video,
But this, to me is a teachable moment for our
young me.

Shannon Sharp just got a deal, from what we're hearing,
of one hundred.

Tony Busby and this girl. So there's a tape of
Shannon Sharp talking to the girl, and then they're trying
to say that the tape he's you know, talking mean
or whatever.

He's not talking whatever to me. Sound normal to me.
But Shannon Sharp trying to tell you to let it
be a teachable moment for these young people, a lot

be a teachable moment for you. And then you know,

I heard he was in the race playing and I
ain't gonna lie. I'm not even sure what race playing is.
I'm still trying to figure that one out. I've been
googling it and everything. I'm trying to be what in
the world is race playing? But he Shannon Sharp's attorney
at released some of the text messages that the girl
sent him to show that it was consensual so man,

Y'all got some young men out there that's making a
lot of money. Be careful, fellas, because it seems like
we don't live in a day where people want to
work anymore. We live in a day where people want

was getting put out of the restaurant, and so he

was looking at the video, it looked like he was
getting put out of the restaurant. He sees him hanging
out there, shines that light in his face and he
just went off like man White then just went off.
It's like people are trying to figure out a way

can get what you got.

Last, but not least. My question for today, she wants
to know if she's overreacting. She says she found some
messages between her husband and one of his former female coworkers.
He told her that she was being dramatic and blew

it out of proportion, and apparently nothing physical has happened
between these two, but she wants to know if she's
overreacting or does she have grounds to be upset. She
says she's fairly certain that the woman never responded, but
she found these text messages. Her husband says, do me

a favor, and if you decide to text me, do
it during business hours while I'm at work. My wife
already thinks I love you, so it wouldn't be great
if she saw a text from you on my phone.
So she texts back and says, ooof that feels icky.
I don't want to disrespect her in any way. He

got a text her back. I appreciate that. That's very
decent of you. If I'm being honest, I think the
hardest part of making the decision to leave the hospital
was not knowing when I'd be able to see you next.
Maybe that's silly, but that's the way I feel. I
just really enjoyed hanging out with you at work, and

I'd love to meet up and see you again here
or there if you're up to it. If you're not
up to it, I get it. I don't blame you.
Just give it to me straight. She didn't respond, or

think about that, honestly, because it looks like it's gonna happen.

So it looks like the state appointed advisory Board could
include three members appointed by the governor, two members appointed
by the Speaker of the Senate, two members appointed by
the Speaker of the House of Representatives, the mayor of
the county in which the district is located, or the
county mayor designation.

So it looks like the Memphis.

Speaker 1 (24:23):
Mayor and Shelby County mayor will get a choice as well.
They'll be putting putting their person on that board as well.
So the Commissioner of the Education or the Commissioner of
Education will be able to recommend the removal of a superintendent,
one or more elected school board members, and convert public

schools into charter schools. According to the Senate version, if
an elected school board member is removed, the local legislative
body will have appointing authority to fill the vacancy. The
individual who fills the vacancy will hold the position until
the next election. According to the Senate version, chid this

is a hot mess. If you ask me a hot mess.
And from what I understand, let me let me tell
you what I what I heard that when they were
drafting this stuff up, Representative Mark White, when he's trying
to draft all this stuff up in the first place,
the attorneys kept sending it back and saying, you.

You can't do it's unconstitutional, you can't do that. So
we had to go back, and then they had to
go come back. So they've been going back and coming
back a whole lot, going back and coming back a
