A podcast about the mid-life & times of an aging metalhead & his stupid love of live (heavy) music. I'm too old, it's too loud & I don't care. Your host Tor Hansen tells stories from Yesterday& Today (Y&T pun intended). Every episode brings an album of the week and a review of the concerts he's been to. It's almost always Metal, or Hardcore, or Metalcore, or Metallic Hardcore , you get the idea. Plus if you aren't about the metal but like the stories we have a special segment for you. Bangers for Beginners brings you one song every week that is hand-picked to start you on your own journey towards Metalhead...dom. There's some parenting stuff, some coming-of-age stuff, and lots of heavy music stuff. So pull up beside Tor at the edge of the pit and enjoy the show.
