Back to yester-year, Owen Brayson joins us to give us a history lesson on his Duke and Duchess dogs of the 90s. These 2 dogs have been mentioned by others so much we had to get Owen on to give us the run down. Owen has been raising, training and hunting River Run bred feist for 30 years and is a beneficial source on hunting squirrel with feist dogs.

This week we are doing another kennel spotlight with our very own Chad Wagoner and Cedarwood Kennels. Chad has had 3 "once in a lifetime" dogs that have led him to World Championships, Dog of the Year, King of the Hunt and more. Chad has been successfully breeding Treeing Feist for nearly 20 years and will share his thoughts on the importance of line breeding.

HyStyle Cadillac Jack, a Feist dog that continues to leave his mark on not just the Feist dogs we know today but on squirrel dogs all together. We sit put a call in to Mr. Ed Bates and talk Cadillac Jack and even get some nuggets on Mr. Bates coondog success with Hard Time Speck. Mr. Bates has been around tree dogs for decades and spreads some knowledge and teaches from experience.

This week Chad takes us through a brief history of a Feist named Poor Fork Bill. Poor Fork Bill is a highly influential dog that has left his mark on the Feist of today.
