Businesses have come a long way in their value of and investment in generosity and social responsibility. Stakeholder theory promotes the idea that businesses have a moral responsibility to serve all stakeholders affecting or affected by their business, especially employees.

In Episode 3, you will learn about "task significance" from Blake A. Allan, Ph.D. Research by Dr. Allan and others suggests that any job or task, no matter how boring it is, can be meaningful. When it comes to activating generosity, you must be able to see how your efforts impact the people and places you are working to serve.
