Devils Lake made their first trip to the Dakota Bowl since 2010, as they have yet to win one in their program history. The same case would apply for Minot North in only their second season as a varsity program. Mason Palmer, Bryar Exner, and Will Heilman, would have outstanding offensive performances, as Devils Lake would come out on top to secure their first ever state championship in a game for the ages at the Fargo Dome!

The Bottineau Braves, the 6 Seed in the Division A bracket, ended up making their first Dakota Bowl appearance against a Langdon-Area-Munich Cardinals team who 3-peated about half a decade ago. Thanks to an incredible offensive performance by Eastyn Schafer, and a strong defensive effort by the Cardinals, Langdon-Area-Munich would snatch their first state title in 5 years!

In a rematch of last year's 9 Man Championship, the LaMoure Litchville Marion Loboes, were hoping to get payback against the defending champions, the New-Rockford Sheyenne Maddock Rockets. But, despite an incredible efffort by LaMoure Litchville Marion, Easton Simon, Thomas Allmaras, and others for the Rockets, helped New-Rockford Sheyenne Maddock to their 2nd straight title!
