fairway Fridays this week all about KestralRidge Golf Course in Columbus. Their head

on Kestral Ridge Golf Course as awhole. Let's talk about this golf course.
It's a course that I've played inyears passed, and it's fairly challenging.

Now you know, you don't haveto be the best of golfers to
keep up either at Kestral Ridge.But um, it measures more than six
thousand yards. Yeah, it's it'sactually not fun. Um, but it
is a par seventy. So ifyou look at the scorecard, it seems
short, but it plays longer thanthe you know, than the part may
say. Yeah, it's pretty narrow. You really have to you know,

kind of plotch away around the golfcourse. So it's not just a farmer's
course, I guess you'd said,Yeah. I mean there's four part threes,
twelve part fours in two part fivesfor that par seventy as you mentioned
there. But one of the otherthings I love about Kestral Ridge as well
is just the views that are outthere and how this course was laid out
and just everything surrounding it. Ittruly is a beautiful course. Yeah,

it is. It's very pleasing tothe eye. Our superintendent John Turner has
done a really good job of youknow, getting it in really good shape.
Each year. They've made it betterand better and better since the Blaskans
bought it a few years back now. So talking with Paul Costa, Lockhead,

with Fairway Fridays in golfing this course, Paul myself, one of the things
that is a challenge but I doenjoy, boy, is when you hit
a shot, especially after you knowyou hit it off the tea, hopefully
in the fairway your next shot.There are some kind of blind hazards along
some of the holes, So youthink you need to hit it here,

you hit it there, and thenall of a sudden you get up there
and you're like, oh boy,I'm kind of in trouble now. It's
a challenge. Yeah, it is. It probably takes you a time or
two to kind of, you know, play the golf course. There's a
little bit of local knowledge to it. Most of those holes seem like they're
kind of on our back nine nowthat you're referring to. I believe front
nine is a little bit more straightforward. But yeah, there's you got to

play it a couple of times toget the hang of it. Where to
put your ball off the tea.Yeah, exactly. Come back. I
mean people are going to want tocome back after the golf Kestral Ridge in
Columbus once. But something else Ireally enjoyed on Kestle Ridge is the greens,
Paul. They vary in size,but also you know, they're not
just completely flat greens either. There'ssome slope to these different eighteen greens if

you will. A lot of KestralRidge. Yeah, there's a lot of
variety. There are some holes thatyou know, there's some puts that are
quite tricky. You know, thereare a lot of undulation. Then there's
some holes where the you know,the greens are a little flatter where you
can kind of, you know,breathe a little bit, not maybe put
quite so you can be a littlebit more aggressive, I guess you could
say for some of your puts.But yeah, a lot of a lot

Un pretty busy. We have abeautiful patio outside, especially with summer coming
now you can sit outside and enjoyfish fry or some drinks. Pretty family
friendly. Also, there's a lotof green space out there by the patio.
