feel old, but it's just somethingwe got to do with, something we
got to talk about. When Iwhen I say the word oof, so

that, well, that's wrong.That's not really what the youngsters are doing
with it these days. So genZ excuse me, is using it as
an affectionate slang word, and itstands for one of my friends. What

MF, I immediately think, youknow what, so like why are they

using that this way? But alsowhen I start reading more and they start
explaining how they use it, I'mlike, how is this an affectionate term?
Since they're often using it online totalk about other people without using their
actual name. So for example,someone's like, I use that to us
sneak dis my friends that I can'tfully confront in person, or when you're
in an elevator talking junk, andthen you have to like maybe somebody else

walks in so that you're say,oof is really ticking me off right now,
and you don't use their name,you just use oof. Oh my
god, I know, I know, I know, I know. I'm
just making sure all of us quoteunquote older people understand. So you know
what the heck these youngsters are talkingabout. Well, it's good for parents

who are listening out there because incase, you know, they may intercept
some of their children's text messages.It's not, you know, a bad
thing, even though you see theletters MF, it's not that. So
yeah, I guess it's good toknow what oof means to the youngsters out
